Lucid Dreams
I experienced sleep paralysis and some vibrations this morning. I've experienced this once before. The first time was way more intense, it was more like shaking not vibrating. The first time i was totally aware of what was happening and totally conscious. I recognized the paralysis right away and the vibrations because i had been reading about astral projection and Wake induced lucid dreaming. and i knew what i had to do in order to start my lucid session but i was too chocked basically. I was terrified of the intensity of the vibrations, it felt like i was having some sort of fit, epileptic or whatever and that put me off a bit. I felt like the more intense the vibrations got the more the paralysis took over and i paniced. I just tore myself up, i felt like if i don't get up now i will never get up. This was my biggest mistake, cause now im having a hard time inducing this state of trance. I've been reading a lot about this subject and i know now not to be afraid of the procedure. That it is perfectly normal and safe, as i see it, this is the biggest problem people have while trying to astral project or WILD. To get over the fear, and get over the separation of physical body and spirit/energy or soul or whatever. Key at this point in the procedure is to relax furhter and let the vibrations take over, try to channel the vibrations, and after a while proceed with the separation, using wich technique you prefer (the rope, the roll over ect.) This morning though i was dreaming, ( i don't really exercise reality check during day-time anymore, i used to but life intertwined ) anyway, for some reason in my dream i did a reality check by looking at my hands and noticing they were disorted so i realized i was dreaming and right away i was back on my couch were i had fallen asleep and i was vibrating and was partially paralyzed, this time i didn't get scared, i just found myself in it and relaxed and i was quite soothing after a while. Then i decided to separeta from my body (maybe rushed too fast to this point) anyway, i decided to do the roll-over-technique because i was sleeping on my side so i thought it would make more sense than the rope. but i was so paralyzed i couldn't It felt like trying to run from the bad guy in a dream and not being able to. When i start to think about it i wasn't as lucid that it had been the first time, it wasn't all that clear, maybe i wasn't as conscious as i thought i was. Maybe i was dreaming about having a sleep paralysis and vibrations? that is quite possible isn't it? why wouldn't it be? anyway, then the vibrations just passed and i moved and "woke up". So im not sure if it was a dream or an actual beginning of an astral or wild. Maybe i shouldn't dwell on it too much and just try again instead, i just felt like i had to write this down first.
I woke up in what I'm assuming was the middle of the night. I'm wall-climbing like I always do, my face pressed right up against the wall. I open my eyes slightly and wonder to myself just what the hell I'm awake for. I could totally be asleep right now, I think. So I close my eyes and go back to sleep. And then I wake up.
Non Dream Dream Lucid Last night I didn't have very good sleep or recall due to some emotional stress. All I remembered was a false awakening and a tiny fragment of a dream. That meant though that this afternoon I was tired enough to take a nap. I got lucid! I rarely have lucid dreams along with my naps. Lucid #206-I woke up from my nap to find myself on my back with my hands behind my head. I was still in sleep paralysis. I figured I could use this to my advantage to have a WILD. I tried making the ringing in my ears as loud as I possibly could. It worked! In a couple seconds I felt my dream body float right out of my real body. The dream was still unstable though. I spent the next couple minutes floating around trying to stabilize. I tried focusing on my dream senses rather than my real ones. It never really worked. I tried flying out of the backyard and letting myself fall softly on my back on the pavement. Big mistake! I couldn't get up and woke up immediately.
Very well-meaning but flawed attempt at the North America Task of the Year. (The King Kong one!) Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #128: Donkey Kong Junior I falsely believe that I have a young niece named Emily that's arriving by plane. I'm waiting with Dad in the airport for her and all of the passengers have gotten out with no sign of Emily at all. I'm becoming fretful. Dad isn't very worried and is loudly telling me stories about how thoroughly the new cereal he is eating "cleaned out his colon". I'm very embarrassed by how loudly he's talking and decide I'd rather go look for Emily. It's like the old days when you could meet someone at the gate, and I'm allowed to stroll right through the jetway and onto the plane. I walk up and down the rows of seats, but there's no sign of her. But when I double back I find her waiting by a bend in the jetway. She's about 11 or 12, short, blonde, a little pale. I realize that I have never seen her before in my life and become lucid. There's one of those little doors that leads out to the runway, and I walk through it and start flying toward a city that I see on the horizon. Night either falls quickly or I suffer some kind of memory gap here, because I land at a parking lot in a cluster of buildings. There's some sort of party going on with loud music bleeding out into the parking lot. There are a lot of people milling around in the parking lot itself, and some of them start following me. I spot my friend "RF" as part of the nearby group and I tell him to "check this out" as I approach one of the parked cars. I decide that the car is as light as an inflatable balloon, lift it, and turn it over on its side. RF looks stunned and asks me how I did that. I tell him that you just pretend something is the way that you want and you usually find that it is. I become sort of boastful and start showing off. "Look at this car. If I decide that it tastes like cake, it will." I take a huge bite out of one of the tires and it's pretty good! Tastes like a fairly decent birthday cake. Several other people in the crowd join in, taking bites out of the car here and there. I spot my high school friend "Alf" in the crowd, and he makes some remark about how cool this is. Pretty soon, a huge crowd of DCs has surrounded the car and started to devour it. It's cool to watch them consume the car but also vaguely disturbing. Reminds me a bit of a Walking Dead zombie feed. RF and I walk away from the car along the sidewalk, reaching a building with the mural of a skyscraper painted on it. I suddenly remember the North America "Empire State Building" Task of the Year. The mural doesn't look quite like the Empire State Building, but I decide that I'm going to start climbing it and then turn it into the Empire State Building as I go. I tell RF this is for "Task of the Year" and he says "Go for it." I latch myself to the mural like Spider-Man and start climbing up the wall. It feels really forced at first, but the more I get into it, the more it feels like I'm scaling the side of a tall building. And now here I am, clinging to the side of the Empire State Building, the wind pulling at my clothes and body. I'm trying to remember what the Task of the Year even involves. (I'm supposed to transform into King Kong, climb to the top, and fight with the military.) I feel a little frustrated with my memory, so I decide that I want to get inside and think about what I'm supposed to be doing. I either enter an open window or phase through a closed one, winding up in a small, quiet marble elevator lobby. There's an elevator waiting here, and I step inside. It only goes up to "9", and I wince that this is not nearly high enough for the Empire State Building. I press "9", assuming that there will be a new bank of elevators I can take at that point which will bring me all the way up. The elevator begins its ascent and I pace nervously, worrying that I'm buying too much into the mechanics of the dream. I can't remember whether I'm supposed to be ascending normally, climbing the building, or what, so I just go with it. The elevator doors open on "9" and I step out into a lobby that looks much like the previous one. There's a bulky, square-jawed maintenance man in overalls here. "Hey!" he shouts. "You're not supposed to be here!" With that, he winds up like a baseball pitcher and throws a large crescent wrench right at my head. It clonks straight into my forehead and drops into my right hand. My forehead tingles a bit, but there's no serious pain. Somehow I now have a wrench in both hands. I feel angry with the guy for attacking me. "You're an asshole!" I inform him and throw both wrenches at his stomach. They bounce off of his torso and he doubles over, glaring at me but not seriously hurt. I feel a little bad and have no interest in going to war with this guy, so I dash into another elevator, stab at a button without looking, "knowing" that it leads to the viewing platform. Again I wait, and soon the elevator opens up to an open-air room that looks a bit like a bell tower. There's a guy in a lab coat here explaining some scientific breakthrough about lycanthropy and animal transformations in general. I run past him along a plank to a balcony. Now I want to transform into King Kong. I look to my left and there's another skyscraper, even taller than the "Empire State Building" that I'm standing on. On top of this other building stands the cheesiest-looking Godzilla-style lizard monster I've ever seen, and I can't help but chuckle. Looks like all the movie monsters are out and about today. I start hopping about like a gorilla and imagine myself transforming into King Kong. In my craziness, I manage to leap off of the building. Rather than a fall, there's an odd transition and now I'm just running along a tree-lined street below, roaring like a gorilla and pounding my chest. The chest-pounding feels a little phony but the gorilla roars are amazing. My hands and arms look big and gorilla-like, but I'm not nearly large or hairy enough to be King Kong. I feel more like a big, strong, long-armed dude with a gorilla roar. Some DCs rush up to attack me, but they're all just regular men in casual street clothes. I shove them away, remembering that I need to get attacked somehow and win, but I'm very confused as to the details. I take a few swats at these DCs and amusingly, they go flying off whenever I hit them. I know that something's off with all of this, though, and that I need to be a lot bigger, I need to be up on top of the building, and I think I need to fight something tougher. The details are really hazy, though, so I just lumber around for a while longer amusing myself until the dream ends.
Non-Lucid Lucid Lately it has been my personal task of the month to partake in a huge medieval feast. Inspired by a combination of Game of Thrones and my first amazing lucid eating experience, I am determined to make it work! My family and I are eating at a restaurant together. After leaving, we realized that we had forgotten to tip our curly haired waiter, and we all felt terrible. While debating what to do, I step outside to my lawn to play with my dog. As I toss the ball for him, a Ferrari comes screaming on to my lawn, narrowly missing me, and driving straight into the side of my house; destroying the wall. In a panic we all rush about and try to see who the driver is, and out steps the curly haired waiter, who did this to get revenge for us stiffing him. Something causes me to look at the clouds, and they look beautiful and painted. I turn back to the kid who is trying to scream at me but I interrupt him and say "what if this were a dream?" As I say it, I become lucid! The clarity is amazing, and I grab his face in both of my hands and laugh out loud, feeling nothing but love for the kid. He smiles back and laughs with glee too, and tells me to "Go!" I remember my goal to eat at a medieval feast, but I want a partner. My good friend from college appears, and her and I grab hands. I begin to sprint with her, faster and faster, until we break the sound barrier and the world around us turns in to a blur. We run so fast that day becomes night, and then day again, and finally we arrive. There is a yard sale set up, and a small white building to our left. I know that through the door will be a medieval time waiting for me, but I don't want to go in without proper clothing. The yard sale is all medieval clothing, so we look around for some clothes. As I examine them, I unknowingly lose lucidity and slide back into my dream, forgetting about the door entirely. So close, yet so far!
Non-Lucid Lucid I am taking karate lessons from an ancient Asian man that looks very much like the master from Karate Kid (the original, not that new crap.) He is teaching me karate indirectly like the movie; having me catch birds, chase animals, balance on poles, and a few others. While I am out doing one of his chores, I notice a backhoe that is digging outside of the Dojo. I look more closely and see that there are chunks of earth floating in the air without support, and I become lucid! I walk down the street that the Dojo is in, taking in the sights and sounds. I am in a Chinatown area of a small city, but its very clean and pleasant. Its rather empty. There is a vendor open with steaming piles of delicious food that looked like it was taken out of the Spirited Away buffet scene... An incredibly Asian inspired dream... I decide to try some, but I can't really taste it. I realize too late that in my haste I forgot to gain clarity, and I wake up.
LUCID *I walk up to dc a don't know and say what's up man like I know this person. I look over this rail down a story and say even tho I know this is a dream I am scared to jump. Then my girlfriend starts saying to me about being a model. Some how she tells me to jump and prove my self, so I do. I kind of jump around and have some fun at this point. My lucidity is that profound and logical but nonetheless I am still lucid. I end flying out of the building that I was in. NON LUCID *I wave at the dalai lama but he looked at me as if he was angry. I thought maybe my ego is to big and he is warning me. I end up in a school with people around me about to go to class. For some reason I stick around and actually try to join a class. Someone looked at me like what an idoit why is he walking in a class he doesn't have, it's the middle of the semster. I walked away thinking, I have been with my girlfriend for a year and seven months. With all that time I could of been half way done with college. I had regrets.
I've been trying to log only my lucids, but my memory fails me now. I'm convinced that steady journaling of my dreams aids in more complete memory of all my dreams. I'll set up another page for my regular dreams so I can continue logging only my lucids here. I've been lazy with my cycling, but I woke up at around 5:00 AM and decided to cycle. I didn't do do much, and the cycling was disturbed by itches and other discomforts, but it didn't seem to matter. I ended up going lucid. This technique is like old faithful for me. # 69 I was in a strange house. I don't really remember what was happening, but someone was leaving top-shelf alcohol in my glass. I would finish what the person didn't drink, but I knew something was wrong. After finishing the end of a second glass, a woman appeared and said something about it not being community alcohol, though she said it some other way, and did not get upset about it at all. In fact, she started pouring me more. I liked her even though she was about 10 years older than me. She was sexy and I think I got to see her breasts. I started thinking I might be dreaming, but was afraid to take the woman. I looked at my hands and they were split so that I could see air through a couple fingers. I put fingers from my other hand through the cut slits in the other fingers to prove I was dreaming. I still didn't believe it, but I took the woman and paid close attention to whether she acquiesced or not. She never flinched. Soon I was with a girl who was much younger than her, but I think she just turned younger. I put my hand up her shirt and felt her up. I pushed her bra up and saw her tits. Then I undid my pants and put her hand on me. Then two guys walked in. One had an assault rifle. I started to beg for him not to kill me, but then I stood up and started to beat the shit out of him. My punches didn't have the umph I would want, but I kept punching and got the better of the guy with the rifle. I never got back to the girl before I woke up.
I was lucid right from the start in this dream, but i didn't think so much about it and what i could do. Therefore i completely forgot to rub my hands to give the dream clarity (atleast until the very end) and to f.ex meet my subconscious. It all started out in a little asian village out in the forest. Me and my fellow habitants were kung-fu masters. I don't remember too much about the village other than the fact that someone came to destroy it. It was a short man much like a loanshark (or some other gangster). He was accompanied by three large men and something that looked like his short wife. As he approached the village the alarm was sounded and two small groups covered their respective roads. When they came into speaking range i quickly shouted something like "Begone, you don't belong here!". He just laughed. Suddenly i felt this rush of both power and confidence. I ran over to the man, threw him to the ground, beat up the muscle men, and kicked the wife in the butt. Lastly i lifted him up and said "You will never, ever try do hurt anyone again." He nodded. I dropped him and looked to the sky. Flying over the woods (it looked like what i think China looked like in the 1500th) i spotted a resting place. I am not sure why i wanted to land there, but i did. Naturally, everyone stared (and i of course enjoyed it) at the man with the flying powers. I sat down and streched out my legs. I remember having a conversation with a creature that i knew was the owner, but i cannot recall what it might be about. I left for the sandy highway and again looked to the sky. This time i saw a grey cloud (like a storm), surrounded by big mushrooms. I wanted to go there. There were a lot of people on the road, and i was still eager to show off my newly attained skills. I jumped high up in the air before i activated my flying, thinking it would look even cooler. As i flew away i heard screams of amazement. The flight to the mushroom cloud actually took some time, and even though i tried to fly faster i was not able to. Frankly, i did not really think about dream control at this moment. When i finally reached my target i flew through it, but soon got bored and changed direction towards a city in the horizon. It seemed that the city was occupied by penguins, because that was the first sight that met my eyes (this was proved wrong later on though). I did not stop to observe them and instead flew even further into the city. I saw a wall of ipads and ipods and moved closer to inspect them. After testing them out (which just ment to look at them, because they could not do anything extrodinary), i walked up to a man that told me he was my trainer. I also remember being struck by a feeling that the dream had gone on forever. After a small talk where i learned that i was not the only one with powers in the world, i met two others like me. Together we walked into a place that i think represented a storage of some sort. They wanted to play basketball and looked for a basket, but i wanted weapons. We went our seperate ways. As i approached the weapons shed i saw a girl from my real life class. Suddenly i was at a beach just outside the city, and there she was. I quickly rubbed my hands together to obtain clarity, but it lasted only for a mere second. Afterwards i tried to have sex with her, but she rejected me. Because of this i wanted to change location, and even though i knew that i might wake up if i closed my eyes and tried to wish for another place, i did it. Then i woke up. Thank you for reading my very first DJ entry! I am open to and thankful for critisim on grammar, but otherwise this is my little playground with my set of rules. Sweet dreams!
So we were having a party at my house with family and friends, a lot of these "friends" were people I don't recall ever seeing in my waking life. To start we were all in the shallow end of my pool(4 ft.) and it was my sister, a mom, 2 kids, and an attractive girl that seemed to be friends with my sister. We were talking about random things and then one of the kids said something about making out with his parents (who were right there). The one chubby boy in the pool tackled me and punched me where it hurts, but I didn't actually feel any pain, either way I took this boy and carried him out of the pool and threw him in the grass and kicked him, oh and his parents didn't care lol.. and after this he started doing pushups. But the most terrible pushups imaginable, like he only moved his arms like 2 cm. After thinking about not having pain when doing anything I became lucid , after this I did an RC finger through palm failed, breath through nose succeeded. So I walked around outside for a bit and looked at my palms to increase vividness. I then walked inside my house and the atmosphere completely shifted, It had a darker and messier look to it and my mom and sister were both at a little table smoking these weird cigars, I took a few puffs but when you do it leaves like.. dust in your mouth, that you must spit out. I went upstairs and checked all my family's rooms. -In my room slept a women that I've never seen. -In the my sister's rooms was a couple which again, I don't believe I've seen. -In my brother's room was some random guy sleeping, lol. -Didn't check parent's room. So I proceeded downstairs, but was still impressed with this no pain thing so I just down the stairs and landed on my ass each time. I heard some noise from the basement so I went down there and there was a bunch of girls and my sisters, but when I was down there the noise, was non-existent, I was looking for a girl I'd seen before then I turned completely around and saw her right behind me and we looked at each other, then the dream ended, I got ready for DEILD, but It didn't work out. Dream Length : 7 - 10 mins
In this dream, my lucidity lasted about 25 minutes. There were about 7 people sitting on a wooden benchThey were beginner wizardsI couldn't do magic while not lucidSomeone conjured a green fireball After someone conjured the fireball, I became lucid. My top thing to do in lucid dreams was controlling any kind of element, so I covered a fence in frost. Everyone looked at me amazed, and I flew off. I was flying until I saw a building which looked like my very old school. Out of curiosity, I tried to make it snow. I succeeded. For some reason, the only DC in school started glaring at me, and I woke up...
this is my fourth time to had a Lucid Dreaming... it happened on 6 - 9 this morning (July, 29 2013)... there was a body on the ground... and my brain just said "this is dreaming" and i realize this is dream... and suddenly it became white, and i deep sleep... only last for 1 second i think... hahaha
I have a short dream where I have been awake all night and I fret about the lost of sleep. I try to lay down on a pallet in the floor. I keep looking at my phone and the alarm clock and the times don't match. They distort and become blurry. I fail to catch this dream sign and worry about school and wonder if I did all my homework. I remember I did my math but I feel like I missed something. Then I think I am not in high school any more. I tell my self that I went back to college. My son wakes and my wife comes in the room. I have the blanket over my head. She pats me and asks if I am ok. I say I feel sick. I decide to stay home with my son and finish my homework. I think I can go to bed when she gets off work. I wake up and DEILD. Almost instantly, I get strong HI of young Audrey Hepburn. I latch on to that and soon I feel pressure in my hands and I see her face close to mine. Everything is unrealistic and she looks more like a still photograph than anything. I begin to dance with her hoping that the motion to will draw me deeper into the dream. I begin to hear Louis Armstrong - A Kiss to Build a Dream On in my mind. We sway and spin to the music. At some point I stop feeling like I am in bed and more like I am actually standing and dancing but not all the way. For now I just enjoy dancing with Audrey. I try looking around but all I can see is darkness and shadow around me. I try to just focus in her face and the feeling of movement. Then I begin to hum with the words of the song. It sounds like I am really humming and I worry that my wife can hear me. Then I wonder if I should have felt vibes or if I need to (its just noise dumbass). Too much of the wrong thinking shatters the dream and I become fully awake. I am not sure why she came to mind but the feeling afterwards was like her ghost visited me. I doubt it but that was the feeling. I probably won't add this one to my count but it was still a really cool experience.

as with most of my lucid dreams i just realized i was dreaming with no reality checks whatsoever in the dream i couldn't open my eyes because if i did the dream went blurry and i would go into sleep paralysis and i would change positions and be back in my bed, so i kept my eyes closed (i could still see) and went outside where there was patches of snow on the ground. after looking outside i went back in my house and was jumping around my living room trying to fly to convince my DC family i was dreaming but at the same time they was trying to convince me i wasn't, then i remembered how can i see if my eyes are closed which convinced them. i then remembered some tasks i was reading about 1. look in a mirror (unfortunately not this months) 2. ride a sea turtle (i think it was one of the tasks of the year) so i chose to look in the mirror and seen that i had no eyes and looked different ( i had short hair and no facial hair whereas in real life i have long hair and stubble) so i opened my eyes and eyes grew on my face in the mirror and then my face started morphing. i then remembered sivasons advice of looking at my hand (to help dream vividness and control?) as i was looking at my hand and the details kept on becoming clearer and then blurry and then they morphed into the surface texture of a golf ball. i then asked my subconscious to show my something brilliant and i woke up.
Excerpt #1 from my personal Dream Journal. DATE: 7/29/2013 TIME OF OCCURRENCE: Between 5:30 and 6:30 A.M. I awoke after about four hours of sleep. Got myself a quick snack, relieved myself and got a quick drink of soda. That only took about fifteen minutes. Returning to bed, I almost immediately went into Sleep Paralysis. The weird thing is, I transitioned from SP to a Lucid Dream, a false awakening and finally an OBE. Each time though, I exited the SP by forcing myself out of the right side of my body and was floating around my room. The LD wasn't vivid enough but I did try to go somewhere (leave my room and house) unfortunately I hardly succeeded. I couldn't picture the person I was trying to meet up with very well for some reason nor find him/her. The OBE was the creepiest part of the whole experience. As soon as I forced myself out of my side I was floating again but my eyes stayed closed because there was an apparition which I believed to be a demon. It was blocking the path out of my room to my LD, so I flew directly into it in a fight once I had gained enough courage to do so. That was the end of the experiences for the night/early morning.
