    1. South Park and Maggie

      I was laying in my bed with my laptop. I was watching two episodes of South Park at the same time and switching between them. One of them cuts to a scene in real action. It is a girl laying naked on a bed. The goodies are covered up at first but then I could see some of her ass. I was shocked that South Park had this in it. After watching longer, I could see her breasts too. I get distracted and the episode ends. I try to find it again, but I have trouble. I remember the title had "Myanmar" in it, and that it involved a lion.

      After awhile of laying in bed I hear my mom and brother talking. I think for a second and realize that I don't live with them...this is a dream.
      I get up and walk out the door. I was in my room in Denver, but the rest of the house was my childhood home. I walk out to the kitchen and see my mom and brother. I also see Maggie (old dog) standing by the counter. I pat her head and then make my way to the door. It was night time and I was going to try and fly.

      I stopped for a second and realized that Maggie passed away. I thought it would be nice if I could spend some time with her. I turn around and crouch down. She looks a little bigger than she really was. I pet her for a few minutes until I lose the dream.

    2. Searching For Heather

      DEILD

      Notes: I was able to sleep in and ended up snoozing or resetting my alarm like 8 times. This gave me a lot of opportunities for DEILD or WILD. The dream lasted fairly long, but I can't recall a portion of it. Also, it wasn't very vivid; I had to stabilize a bunch of times to stay in the dream.



      I woke up and tried to DEILD. I felt the rush come on, but it dissipated quickly. I felt like I was still awake so I stuck with it. I am pretty sure the dream started in this warehouse. I don't remember the transition, but I recall that in the dream I was happy I DEILDed.

      The dream started in a large, gray warehouse building. There were a few people working around. There large crates on top of high shelves. I see a pretty attractive girl so I go up and start making out with her. The dream becomes pretty blurry so I stabilize by staring at one of the crates. I decide to try and find HM. I ask a nearby DC if she knows where HM is. She says yes and walks me under one of the shelves. It led to a narrow passageway that opened into another room.

      This was another storage area. There was a girl working on one of the shelves and the DC said that was HM. We make eye contact and it takes me a second to realize it isn't her. However, she is really hot so I take it anyway. Her face gets somewhat fuzzy when she gets close so I rub my hands together. They feel abnormally soft but it feels good. She starts kissing me and then goes down on me. We were talking dirty the whole time. I lose the dream before it finishes.

      Short Lucid

      The dream started off with just an image of the playground I usually visit. Then out of nowhere it felt as if I was sucked into the image. I looked around noticed that there was no one in sight. My attention started to focus on the playground. I remembered that the playground is a common place in my dreams and became lucid because of that. I then climbed to the top of a nearby pole for no reason at all. I plugged my nose and breathed in through just to confirm I was dreaming. From the top of the pole I noticed I could see most of the town. It wasn't just a small town anymore though as much as it was a big city. The city I was looking at reminded me a lot of london. I jumped down from the pole and was about to go explore it. Once again I woke up too early because I didn't stabilize.

    4. The Big One...

      This is one of the more memorable dreams I've ever had, and is a pretty intimate one for me.



      I flew into New York with Jono, Colin and Nooks. We dropped from the sky into the ocean and swam ashore- it was raining and a guy in a car sped past us on the road as we emerged.

      Our hotel was a strange, small building across and in the water and you had to wade to it- the ocean was apparently only shin deep. When we arrived we walked up the stairs that lead out of the water and into our separate rooms. The guys wanted to do something but I took ages to get changed into board shorts.
      When I finally changed, I asked where Jono was and Colin said that he was at work as a DJ and had been living in New York for several months. Fair enough.
      We strolled into the city and came into a kind of piazza area surrounded by small stalls and bordered on all sides by large, red brick buildings. I set fire to some paper and blew up a stall. People thought it was awesome. I looked up the cobbled road where a bunch of 70’s styled women crashed their giant limo- front and back. I came across Jono and wanted him to come with us to party but he said he hadn’t been for a run yet. At that point I saw some shady looking characters lurking around and Jono put on a police hat and ran after them. I told Nooks and Colin and they freaked out. As we chased Jono more gangsters came so I ducked into a little trinket store but the gangsters followed me in and ordered everyone onto the ground.

      They shot me in the head as well as everyone else.
      I survived and pretended to be dead. They shot me several times more and then spoke about their plans while I was trying to be as still as possible and not breathe.
      After a while they left but I continued pretending.

      I kept that up for hours or days as people passed by. Even in my dream it felt like a really, really long time. Eventually some guys put me on a cart and took me into a house. Two of them went upstairs so I decided to scare the other guy by ‘coming back to life’. When the other two came down, I told them what had happened and concluded that I must be immortal.
      As we talked, the gangsters ran past and the guys shut the door as quickly as they could, but that drew the baddies’ attention. They stormed in and I pretended to be dead again.
      Head gangster Andy Garcia (what?) sat down and checked me. I tried and tried to hold my breath but eventually exhaled.
      As I did I woke up...

      ...in the same room?

      Huh?
      The guys, minus the gangsters were there and told me I was safer in this existence and “what’s awake really mean, anyway?” They said I should just make the most of my day, even if it was a dream. Okay!
      I went upstairs and was back in our hotel room from before.
      I remembered that I wanted to find out what music was like in dreams, so after checking myself out in the mirror, I found a toilet/glowing stereo thing. It was actually really awesome looking and totally feasible.
      The sound was dodgy when I tried to get it to work and wouldn’t play clearly. After fiddling with it for ages I finally got it to play:
      “Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you dooooown...”

      Damn you subconscious! Rickrolled by my own mind.
      Touché sir.


      I went back to the mirror and decided to jump through it, which I did. I became the reflection. I jumped off the balcony and onto the back of one of those canvas covered trucks. It was a weird brick city and the brick road was watery and cracked. I checked my hands and everything was stable so I hopped off the truck, looked around, then did a flip and flew into the air. I wanted to fly to the planets, but it was like the never-ending staircase from Mario 64; every time I looked back, I hadn’t gone any higher.

      Eventually I gave up and dived headfirst like a bullet into the ground, crashing through into an underground chasm. It was really pretty and glowy- fluorescing rocks and water. I walked through the shaft and came across a face on a rock made of mossy orange fungus stuff.
      It spoke in a scary, profound tone.
      I took it to be my true subconscious and he asked me what kind of person avoids their dreams- that I should be doing what I’ve wanted to do since I was three and was mad for not doing more acting. It gave me some deep insights and words of wisdom before I lost lucidity and woke up.


      This dream was truly immense in both scale and content. It provided me with insight, joy, laughs and full-on action. It let me do some dream experiments and put me in touch with myself more than any other dream I can recall having. I woke up deeply moved and immediately wrote down as much as I could remember.

    5. The Awesome Street...

      On a road trip with Nooks somewhere in the US.
      Stopped and got out into a curious little plaza* adjacent to a road. It was a wonderful, sunny day.
      We went for a stroll around the neighbourhood and noticed that all the houses were really odd. All totally unique and situated among each other unlike anything I’ve ever encountered in the dream or waking life. Some had ramparts, others were really thin and windy, lots were colourful. It was kind of Suess-ish in a more ‘normal’ way. I mentioned that it would be a really awesome place to go trick-or-treating.
      Anyway, we found ourselves walking in a roughly hewn underground tunnel with dingy electric lights hanging from the roof. At some point during our walk I realised it was a dream and we exited the tunnel into a lovely green, bright forest. We went jumping around. Nooks was sitting in the grass playing an instrument– guitar or violin. I lay down in the grass and tried to shrink myself just for fun. It kind of worked but was a bit of a struggle so instead I climbed a tree to see the cool houses again but woke up.

      Lay still in bed trying to get back to sleep.

      Found myself climbing (literally, up the cabinets and stuff) in a kitchen and was still lucid. I ran down the hallway at speed and vaulted without a second thought over the balcony, falling at speed and crushing my car all awesome superhero style. I jogged down the street and decided to see my special door** again.
      As I approached it, I woke up.

    6. I Failed the Test

      Broke my dry-spell

      I was doing a project in my Pre-Calculus class, in which we were to make a website about something. When it was my turn to present, Mrs. Ward (the teacher) said something about not being fully prepared. She loaded up my website onto the Smart Board in front on the room, and was browsing it. She then clicked on a link that was supposed to link to the first page of my friend's website, but instead, it linked to the entire website instead. Mrs. Ward pointed this out, and I felt bad.

      Afterwards, my mom called me on my cell phone. She told me she had to do something in McAdenville, and wouldn't be able to pick me up. I asked if I had to ride with my cousin (he lives in McAdenville, and goes to a different school), and she said yes. I tried to find an excuse to not go to McAdenville, such as I had soccer practice.

      I was now at home, unleashing my dog. As I was walking back to the house, I wondered why I wasn't at soccer practice. It then occurred to me that I had a car, and there was no reason for me to ride with Jalen in the first place. It also occurred to me I'm training for tennis, and soccer season had already passed.
      With this, the dream ended.

      I lied very still as I woke up, with the intent to jump back into the dream consciously. I felt the familiar tinglings of SP. I tried to visualize the dream where it ended. Very vivid images of the past dream flashed in my vision, then the tingling became more intense. I decided I would just ride the vibrations into lucidity. The vibrations became more intense, and for once, I saw HI. It wasn't very colorful; in fact, it looked more like "shadows" jumping around my room. Surprisingly, I wasn't scared and just remained calm. Once the vibrations subsided, I did a RC. I was dreaming!

      I was standing up in my room. "Well, since I'm in a dream, I can do anything, like passing the walls." (I mainly said this to affirm myself I wouldn't slam into the walls like last time ) I passed through the walls with ease. It was very beautiful outside; it was dawn and the sky was a mix of blue and orange hues. The environment was very vivid. I decided to seize the opportunity to further ground myself into the dream. I got down on my stomach and smelled and felt the green grass. It smelt very refreshing, and the environment around me in response to this got a little brighter. I got up with the intent of accomplishing the goal of contacted my 'subconscious,' or, the 'intelligence' behind the dream to find my dream guide.

      From back around my house, I see a figure. As it approaches me, I notice it's a Hispanic girl who was completely nude. She gave me a smile, and walked passed me. "CRAP," I thought to myself. This was definitely doing to interfere with my goal. I turned around and followed the girl, wanting a hug (wow, I'm surprised I just wanted a hug). She turned around.

      "Why don't you come with me for a bit?" I thought about this briefly. "Sorry," I said, "I'm on a mission here."

      She smiles again. "You're trying to find it, aren't you? Don't worry, it should still be here soon."

      At this point, I don't know what overcame me, and I gave into temptation. I went to the girl, and did some tasteless stuff. The girl allowed it, but her expression implied she was obviously disappointed in me.

      "Yea well....you better get going."

      I took a deep breath, about to ask my subconscious to manifest before me with firm intent. At the point however, I suddenly woke up.


      After waking up, I realize that that girl was testing me to see whether or not I had the conviction to accomplish my goals without getting distracted; obviously, I didn't . However, I'm happy that I broke my dry spell, and this definitely won't happen again. I swear I've seen this girl in a previous dream before....

    7. The Breath Test...

      Standing in a kitchen with Daniel. I began discussing with him about what we’d do if it was a dream. Eventually he just said “it is!”, so I did a hand check and even though they looked reasonably normal, concluded that
      it was a dream.
      Without really doing much else, I remembered I wanted to do the Breath test.*
      I took a big breath (slightly larger than usual) and began to realise I could feel my true self breathing.

      I woke up after feeling my hands in my bed.

      *This is an idea I had regarding whether or not your breathing correlates between the sleeping and waking self. After doing it I discovered it’s actually a pretty well known experiment, similar to how the eyes of a dreamer in the real world mimic the movements of the sleeping self.
      Even though I didn’t break any new ground, I’m pretty stoked I can be coming up with experiments that professionals think of!
    8. The First Recorded Lucid...

      I had a nap in the study at Nooks' house and could hear her typing in the background the entire time I was asleep.


      Began in a hilly township. I was walking down a red brick paved path but it was far too steep and slippery so I slid down it on my butt and got worried my pants would be ruined.
      The dream was already unstable at this point and I was questioning things.

      At the bottom of the hill there was a quaint little red brick plaza and I was wearing rollerblades- doing jumps down stairs and stuff. Some pros bumped into me and got annoyed.
      At some point my brother, Nooks and some others were around – out the front of a shop or something- and we were talking. Some other adventures happened and we ended up outside/inside a shop with these weird Emu-puppet costumes and Warhammer type toys.
      While I was browsing my tooth started to hurt so I touched it and noticed it was wobbly.
      Awwww Hell No it ain’t! Did a hand dream check and all my fingers were bent backwards. I did a little dance and asked to increase lucidity.*
      In my excitement I discovered I was in my house, so I took a stroll around admiring the accuracy of the recreation then climbed out the window and flew around, which I found much easier than usual and did a sort of breast stroke.
      I flew around for a while looking at houses and taking in the dreamscape then landed and did some looking around. I had to keep spinning and rubbing my hands to keep the dream stable. It was a street at night time. The grass was damp on the front lawns. I turned around in hopes of a scenery change but it stayed the same. I looked up at a streetlight and noticed it was more an unfocussed orb of light.
      At that point, I woke up in the study. As a precaution, I checked my hands and noticed they were still funny. YEAH!
      Had some sexy times (a bit un-lucid) then went outside.
      I was in another plaza, kind of like one where I used to live. I ran madly along a ledge and noticed a door- wooden with dirty glass panelling and a numbered plaque. “That’ll do” I thought.
      I jumped down off the ledge and over to the door, took a breath and thought “my perfect place is behind this door”.
      I pulled it open and was engulfed in a white light.


      Then I woke up for real.

      I really want to return to that door one day.

      *In my experience I find that works best when you just yell it to high heaven, but often when I do that I worry that I'll yell out in real life so when I go lucid I always have this little battle with myself!

    9. First Lucid!!!

      So about a year ago when I was a senior in High School, I did a project on Lucid Dreaming for a psychology project. Since then I have tried to get lucid a number of times but had yet to actually succeed.

      Then, over winter break, I stayed at my friends dorm room in downtown Portland, my first time ever sleeping in down town, even though I have lived in Portland and slept at many of my friends homes around the city throughout my whole life. Me and my best friend Nick, we had a few shots that night and went out around downtown. Later, after the alcohol had mostly wore off and we were trying to pass out back in his room, I was unable to fall asleep. I would fall asleep for probably a minute or so, then wake up and would continue to do fall asleep and wake up for what seemed like hours, and then around probably 4 am I think, I fell asleep.

      In my dream I was at a small house party, with the homies and a few people that felt like recent acquaintances. I know my friend Patrick has been wanting to get out and party lately, but has been unable to for a number of reasons. And in my dream, it was because he had a new baby girl to take care of. I told him that I would take care of the baby and not drink or smoke so that he could take a break and go have some fun. He warned me that the baby could be kind of a "hoe." As I am taking care of this baby, I notice that she is changing over the course of the party. I think she caught a cold for a bit, then she is older, then she is a toddler, then a little girl of probably four years old in a completely different set of clothes, and has quite a few sarcastic remarks to make to me. And then she becomes the little baby girl again. And I think to myself about how I am actually kind of frustrated now after all these changes the baby incurred, and how I just want to not think anymore about it and go party. I keep getting more and more frustrated and ask myself, why I am taking care of this baby at all... after all, Patrick is only my age and doesn't even have a baby! and then the baby is gone, just completely disappears. I feel weird almost questioning, like "wait, what is going on?" But I am relieved that I don't have to take care of this baby anymore. All my friends say they are going outside to hang out at the park across the street, so I get up to go with them. When we get outside, the air feels very crisp, like on a cold but sunny morning in January, but its comfortable. It is night out, and there are low lying clouds of mist right above the tops of the trees, and the stars, which are bigger and brighter than I think I have ever seen them. They are all over the sky, which is a deep dark blue color. The thing about this park we are at, is that it is the same park I live across the street from in real life, even though this house party was not at my house. And I notice a few extra fir trees that are definitely NOT at my park. And thats what does it. Those trees let me know that I AM in a dream, and I am not waking up at all. The guys are ahead of me already at the play structure. I feel so happy because I know this is soooo cool! I try to jump into the air to fly, and I sort of stay a few feet above ground for a brief second, and slowly come down onto the path. I try this a few times and keep coming back down - whatever. I remember hearing that by looking in a mirror or at my hands in a dream, I will see a distorted version of what I am looking at, so since I am outside and there is no mirror, I look at my right hand, and it looks stretched, and I start to laugh because this proves it, but then my fingers start to become twisted and really distorted and it scares me so I stop looking and try to catch up to my friends. I see them all hanging around the slide and swings and we are all happy just walking around on this night bullshitting with each other. We go around the last bend of the pathway and are headed back to the house, which is in fact my house now, as it wasn't earlier, and I see all of them, and we're just smiling and laughing. Its me, Nick, Patrick, Spencer, even Chet, who usually hangs with his own group of friends so it's a little odd for him to be hanging out with us but whatever. And then, I feel it coming, and instead of waking up, I feel more like I am transitioning into the bed, as if I really wasn't already there and I am being teleported into the bed... and the images fade to black, and I am so glad that since I am in this new place that it just happens to be a very comfortable bed, (which it probably wasn't, because it was a dorm bed, but ha whatever) I was at the park, now I am laying on my back all warm and under blankets.

    10. Walking on the Moon and an Interesting conversation

      I was sitting in my living room watching some T.V. with a girl who I seemed to be rather intimate with. We were sitting next to each other "cuddling" while watching something on T.V. After a couple minutes we headed up stairs for some reason and went into my room. Once inside we stood at the foot of my bed talking with each other. "So... do you want to?" I asked hesitantly. I could tell I was blushing a little bit. She just smiled at me and slightly nodded her head.

      At this point things started to get a little fishy. I walked into the other room for a second and thought to myself, "Wait a minute, that's my ex-girlfriend! We broke up last year!" It was true, I was with my ex with whom I was no longer with. I did a checked my hands real quick and my right hand had 6 fingers while my left hand was missing a pinky.
      My suspicions were correct, I was dreaming! Just to be safe I preformed a nose plug RC and it worked! I could breathe through me nose.

      Immediately the TotY popped into my head but I couldn't think of which one to do. I summoned a dart board with 8 spots for each task that wasn't done. I grabbed a dart from the dresser next to me, closed my eyes and threw it. It had landed on the '60s. Awesome, to the moon! Knowing that I had to beat Neil Armstrong down the ladder I couldn't just teleport to the moon, I had to go up with the space ship and everything. I snapped my fingers while picturing the rocket about to take off in Florida.

      In the blink of an eye I was standing in front of a massive space shuttle. It was even bigger in person! I started to walk over towards it when I heard "T-minus 10, 9..." I knew it was about to take off so I ran as fast as I could towards it. Right as I was about to get on the platform the rockets ignited and massive billow of smoke and fire came over me. It felt just like the last TotY dream. I immediately jumped up as high as I could and was out of the fire. I looked down at the space shuttle and aimed right for the window. I dove down feet first this time and crashed right through it into a small holding tank type room. There were 4 other people in the room with me. Neil, Buzz (Aldrin), the third guy nobody really cared about, and then there was one more. The pilot from my last lucid.

      WTF! I thought I had gotten rid of him! "Long time no see, eh Burke?" He said, sarcastic as always. "Well look who it is. I thought you left after the hindenburg dream." I said back, equally as sarcastic. "Now now, this is no place for fighting. We have a job to do." He sounded just like he did last time. "What do you mean we?" I asked. "Hey, we're one in the same, remember? Now be quiet, the shuttle's about to take off and we have to let these three do their jobs." "Hold on--" But before I could finish my sentence the shuttle lifted off from the ground with immense force, pushing me down to the floor (which was really the wall).

      I couldn't really breathe nor talk due to the force from the take off, but after about 10 seconds we were floating in space. "Wow, that was fast," I said. Normally these things took several minutes just to leave the atmosphere. "We'll be there in only a few minutes," The person whom I assume is Neil said. "Now, in order to see who goes first, I say we draw from a hat." "No, no, no, you'll cheat! You always cheat!" Buzz said. "I vote the new guy holds a number behind his back and we guess it." "Doesn't matter to me," I replied. "That sounds good," The third guy chimed in. This whole time the pilot from my last lucid just sat there, silently, staring out the window.

      "Alright, I'm thinking of a number between 1 and infinity. Neil, you go first." I said. "Umm, zero." He said. "You dumbass, zero isn't between 1 and infinity." Buzz chimed in. "It's my choice and I'll make it however I want." He replied. "Guys calm down, just pick a different number," the third guy said. "Oh, a wise guy, eh?" Neil said. At this point it escalated into a 3 stooges type fight where they kept smacking each other on the back of the head and poking each other's eyes. "Hey guys," the pilot said a little nervously. "Not now, we're in the middle of some--" Neil said, interrupted by a smack from Buzz. "Seriously, you might want to stop." He persisted, but they paid no attention to him. I looked out the window and noticed that the moon was coming up fast. Really fast.

      There were bits and pieces of arguement flying all over the place until finally a huge force knocked us all up against the ceiling. "What the hell was that!?" Neil demanded. "I warned you guys," the pilot said. I looked out the window and noticed we were on the surface of the moon, the shuttle still in one piece. "Me first!" "No, me!" "I called it, move out of my way!" They kept bickering even after crashed. "Hey! Idiots!" The piloted shouted. "You're not going anywhere unless you put your space suits on." After hearing this they all ran as fast as they could to the corner where the suits were kept. However, there were only two. One person was meant to stay back and moniter everything. They started fighting again, arguing over who should go out.

      Getting rather annoyed by this I snapped my fingers and summoned another space suit so they could all go out at once. The pilot then looked at me as if he was expecting something. I had no clue what he was thinking and just stared at him while the other were putting their suits on. *Snap!* "Oh! The TotY! Thanks man, you're the best!" I said. I had to beat Neil down, why would I help them out? I walked over to the door, opened it up and jumped right out. The others, who had just finished putting their space suits on, saw me get out and all sprinted towards the door to be the 2nd man out. If they weren't first, they sure as hell weren't going to be last.

      Once I stepped out I looked over my shoulder and saw the earth rotating slowly, just like in the pictures. The three astronauts got out and, once they finally shut up, looked up and around in amazement. "Wow... it's... beautiful..." One of them said. "Yep, quite the sight, isn't it?" I replied. "Hey buddy, how come you don't have a suit on, yet you're just fine out here?" One oft hem asked me. "Oh, umm. Well, you see..." I stuttered, trying not to tell them I was a dreamer for some reason. "Wait I know why. It's 'cause you're one of those alien thing-a-ma-jigs I've heard about!"

      Wait, what? He thought I was an alien? The pilot at this point burst out laughing, obviously humoured by the comment. "What's so funny?" I looked over at him. "Hey now, don't be asking obvious questions!" I was a little irritated, but knew to keep my cool around him after flipping out for a tiny little insult before. "Yeah yeah, I know... Say, isn't this where that one guy from the forum had a base or something?" "Oh, you mean Nomad and Raven, yeah, but I don't think it's open right now." He replied. "What do you mean by 'not open'?" "Don't worry about it. Now, shouldn't you try another TotY?"

      "I guess... but where are you getting at by saying 'don't worry about it'?" I asked. "Seriously, I said don't worry about it, yet here you are, worrying." He sounded a little annoyed, oh jeez . "Alright alright, I'm sorry." I tried convincing him. "No you aren't, don't try and lie to me." "I wasn't lying--" "Yes," he interrupted, "you are. Do you not learn anything? What did I say last time?" I thought for a second, "Umm... as I recall you said 'it's time you learn your place' and then proceeded to kill me." It was true, he did say that. "No you dumbass, about you, and me? Us?" "Umm... that we share the same-" then it hit me. We both share the same mind. He knew what I knew and what I meant.

      "Exactly. God, sometimes I swear I have to beat the sense into you!" He disappeared. Next thing I knew
      I woke up. Damnet, he woke me up again. He didn't even give me a chance

      Oh well, it's all in my head, right? *Braces for him to pop up out of nowhere and hit me* At least I got one of the tasks done.

      I guess this qualifies as a false awakening. And yeah, I know this is yet another dream with Michael Fassbender, but I'm trying to get back into the habit of typing up all the dreams I can remember! Hopefully the presence of Jake can make up for that.

      This dream began with me lying on my back, on a bed, with the covers thrown completely over my head. This bed was twin-sized, and there was a thin cream-colored bedsheet on me. On top of that was a brown, heavier comforter, almost like a duvet. The bed was positioned in the corner of a small room, the headboard against one wall and the right side of it up against the wall. The room was probably only 10x10 feet, smaller than a normal bedroom, and it had no other furniture. The door was on the wall opposite to where the head of the bed was up against, off more to the right. There weren't any sources of light in the room; it was almost completely dark, except for a pale glow coming from the half-open door. The light leaked into the room quite a bit, and wasn't confined just to where the opening in the door was.

      I tilted my head up a little bit and I could see the door - I didn't have to take the sheets off to be able to see through them, as they were a little transparent (but not that much). I had a good sense of surroundings, but I didn't realize that I was in a completely random room somewhere; all I knew was that I was in bed, and was supposed to wake up soon because it was morning. There was another feeling, however - I also believed that it was night time. This confused me upon awakening, but hey, it's a dream so anything goes.

      At the beginning of the dream I already knew that I'd been lying down awake for some time, so I was a little groggy and actually felt a bit heavy from tiredness. I probably only laid there for a minute or so, but the time felt like it went by much slower. Before I knew it, I had put my head back down into the rather soft pillow, still on my back, only to hear scampering footsteps, like that of an excited animal, right outside the door. The scampering was a bit slower, then got faster and faster, almost like something from a horror movie - such as a monster that was coming right up behind you. But the door slowly opened, spilling more light into the room (the hallway that the doorway led into had a blank cream wall, offset to a yellow tone from the light). A large dalmatian, probably a good four feet tall, came walking in excitedly and leaped up onto the bed in a realistic manner: it bent its hind legs, raised its butt and pushed up from the ground. I'd never observed such realistic behavior in an animal before. I could even hear quiet jingling from a collar, and felt the weight of the dog's paws on the bedsheets, which were still on top of me.

      The dalmatian was now standing on the bed, over the lump of covers with me hidden underneath, and started to lick the sheets right where my face was, rustling around on the covers. I could hear its breathing and nose sniffing around like a real dog. As for myself, I had a slight amount of lucidity, but I wasn't aware enough to achieve true lucidity - you know, that defining epiphany moment with a sudden realization of my current state of being in a dream.

      I used my elbows to prop myself up and, feeling the weight of the dog (which was a bit less than it should've been for a dog this size), I pushed it away. The dog went down onto the floor and walked out the door, and I followed.

      Long story short (just for the sake of posting because I dreamed this entry over two weeks ago), I ended up walking outside onto a road that wound along the side of a mountain. I summoned four small, flat levitating pieces of shiny metal which I laid down on and proceeded to move slowly down the mountainside. I heard two people zooming up behind me and as one of them passed, I looked and saw that he was Jake Gyllenhaal. I also heard a voice next to me that casually said "hey, how's it going?"; when I turned to my left I saw Michael Fassbender. He looked at me, smiled, and pulled back behind me so that I was now in the middle of them. I sped up and rushed down the hill without falling off this makeshift 'bobsled', and summoned bright yellow bursts of light at my feet to speed me up even more.

    12. Trap Doors 01.09.12 Part 1

      I had been out of lucidity practice for a while. The previous week, I decided to rededicate myself to the practice. This particular morning I had forgotten I was scheduled to be at work an hour and a half latter than usual, so had set my alarm clock much too early. When it went off, I got up and stayed awake for about 30mins before going back to bed. I remembered to clear my mind and set my intention for lucidity.
      I found myself in a non-lucid dream. I was a passenger in a car my mom was driving. She was driving down a highway, taking me to work. I begin to feel tired in my dream and told her I was going to take a quick nap. I lent back my car seat and went to sleep.
      I immediately woke into another dream. I immediately knew this was a dream, however, I still believed myself in the car with my mom was my waking reality. The dream in all senses was extremely vivid and felt like a higher level dream. I had a sense of forces swirling around me, as I do in most of my lucid, extremely vivid dreams.
      I was in a hallway in a house, with two bedroom doors ajar to my left. I entered one of the bedrooms. I was absorbed with the intensity of the details. I can still recall every detail - the color of the wall, bedspread, and rug, the type of bed and furniture placement. This level of vividness would continue through the rest of the dream and the dream following.
      It was a small room with a queen size bed, and had things littered about the room. The bed and the floor were covered in shoes. Most of the shoes were Nike running shoes in a size six or seven. Several of the shoes would flicker and change in details or change into a different shoe completely. This inconsistency didn't bother me, as I knew this was typical of my dreams. I examined the details of the room closely for several minutes - taken with the intensity of the realness. Even though I knew it was a dream - the colors were brighter and I could see more clearly than in my waking reality. Upon examination, I noticed the strange detail the all of the shoes were unworn.
      I left the room and walked past the second room to the end of the hallway. I reached up to the ceiling and out of nowhere pulled down a ladder. I climbed up the ladder to the attic. There was a whole other expanse of rooms in the attic which seemed to be a completely other house. The first room had high, unadorned ceiling beams and looked like an attic. I walked through to the second room. There appeared to be a holiday party going on. A few people had on Christmas sweaters. Several where sitting on sofas, drinking. A middle-aged lady with a blonde bob who was sitting on the sofa told me to make myself at home. I walked into the kitchen and poured myself a drink in a plastic cup.
      I walked into the next room. I can see outside was a balcony with more people on it. There was an upright piano in the room with an open piece of music on it. I sat down at the piano and played the entire piece. The song was beautiful. As I was playing I could somehow hear it simultaneously played on the clarinet in my head. I felt the song was already in me and the dream was just helping me realize it.
      I woke up immediately after playing my song, surprised to be in my bed and not in a car. The song quickly faded from my mind before I could attempt to sing it, play it, or wright it down.

      Paths to Nowhere
      I am on a bicycle riding down a road in a place I don't recognize. I am thinking it is really something how I could live in a city for most of my life and still have there be so many places I haven't seen. I'm in the mood to explore for a while, so I start doing that. I ride my bike down into an underground tunnel that is going under some other streets. I hadn't realized there even was a tunnel in town! In the tunnel I notice there are several more passages branching off to the sides. While the main tunnel is large enough for a car, the side passages definitely aren't. They are large enough for a bike, however. So I start exploring them. They are all well formed circular tunnels that are lighted by lights running along the ceiling. It can be quite disorienting, and I soon find I think I'm lost. This doesn't bother me, however, as I know the tunnels can't go on forever. I find an underground shopping area and I park my bike to look around. I am quite tired and I think a nap would be nice. I find a place that has inflatable mattresses available for people to rest on. I lie down on one and snooze. I awaken to find the mattress is floating on water. I ask someone near me what is going on. She says that's why the mattresses are inflatable… because they get moved while we sleep to a new location. Damn, I think, I'll never find my bike now!


      Village of the Damned Assholes
      I am in a strange place, it looks like a village out of old times or maybe out of an RPG… such as Oblivion. It is night time out, and there is very little motion in the streets. There are lights glowing in the windows of the homes but no one is venturing outside. I wander through the town for a bit and finally a door opens. A woman comes out and tells me to get off the street before they come. Who? Them, the woman points at some figures moving into the village. They look strange… and I soon see why. They're zombies. She said we need to get back inside and just let them take their sacrifices. Sacrifices?

      She points at the center of town where there is a pole, like a maypole, but the streamers from the top are all chained and at the end of each of them there is a naked person chained. This is no celebration. The woman pulls me and says come on, the darga will feed on the sacrifices and leave the rest of the village alone! I push the woman away with a disgusted look and tell her that's not going to happen this time.

      I go over to where the zombies… the darga… are approaching from. They pause when they see me there, clearly not expecting anyone to meet them. They continue advancing. I summon my Witchblade sword and that seems to give them pause again. Not only is someone meeting them, that someone looks ready to fight. I hear a man call at me not to do it, but I pay him no heed. I charge right into the middle of the group of zombies and cut into them with my sword. They are clearly not prepared for this, and in true zombie style, it takes them a moment to respond. By that time most of them are already dead and it is quick to finish the rest of them off. I free the people who were meant to be sacrifices.

      What surprises me here is that no one seems happy about the victory, in fact, they seem pissed. Wtf? A man is cursing at me! He says I have really done it now, the rest of the darga will come for revenge, the entire village is doomed now. Ok, then I will just wait around here and kick the rest of their asses when they come. He chuckles, not believing. He says there is no way one person can fight them all, certainly not a mere woman. He is pissing me off. I tell him he has no idea what I'm capable of. I fire a blast of flames at the dead zombies and incinerate them in an instant. I add that if they are too many for me to handle alone, I also have friends to back me up… some of whom are even more powerful than me. He says I have "helped" quite enough. I think he must be a leader of some kind, as a bunch of others are joining him in telling me to leave. I am pissed at that and I tell them to go ahead and rot then… anyone who willingly hands over their own people to be devoured by zombies isn't worth saving anyhow. I turn and head out of town with jeers and curses following me. I resist an urge to turn around and level the whole place with a blast of fire. The zombies will take care of that.

      I am almost out of town when I see someone chasing after me. It's the woman who tried to warn me before the fight. Unlike the others, she seems truly dismayed at my leaving. She says they won't have a chance against the darga. I tell her that's not my problem, it's clear that everyone wants me to leave… so I will comply. She says not everyone wants me to leave… she pauses… she said they're just afraid to oppose the mayor… she then quickly adds that she doesn't want me to leave. She says in fact, she would beg me to stay and help them… do I want paying? She'll pay everything she has… just please don't go… I tell her that I am not interested in payment. She says if I'm angry, it is all the mayor's fault, he is the one that thinks he is always right and responds violently to anyone who tries to oppose him and his ideas. Those who back him up are just scared. She grabs my arm and then immediately lets go as if she thinks I will attack her for doing that. I finally tell her ok, when the zombies… the darga… come back I will also be back, with help if needed. But for now I am called to my home world. I wake.

      Short Lucid Dream

      I think I became lucid out of randomness or awareness. Sadly it was one of those lucid dreams where I was mostly just there for the ride. I was standing outside the fence of my house. I was watching a woman attach a propane tank to some weird machine to the side of my house. I jumped over the fence and walked to my backdoor. My mom was outside and I could "see" my dad inside and they were yelling at each other.

      "I'm not going inside until you get that snake out from behind the tv!" She yelled.
      "I'm not getting rid of the snake until you get rid of this damn koala!" He yelled back.
      "I told you I'm not going in there until you get rid of the snake!" She yelled.

      I decided I would take care of the snake problem just so they would shut up. I went inside and walked into the living room. I looked behind the tv and saw nothing but a bunch of wires. So then I thought that they must have meant the tv upstairs. As I turned around I saw my sister. She gave me some candy and quickly walked away. It could have been poison, but it it's dream candy I'm gonna eat it. They looked like colored rocks but were actually soft and tasted like marshmellows.

      After eating the candy I walked upstairs and walked into my room. I was about to look behind the tv, but then I thought, "If this is a dream, that snake will probably be a lot more trouble than it's worth." So I walked away from the tv and jumped out the window for the hell of it. I then walked back inside into the living room where I saw my mother holding a doll. The doll's face was emotionless. Then things got confusing. My mother said something about happy things making the doll smile and bad things making it frown. So I poked it in the head and it smiled. I poked its stomach and it frowned. Creepy. The dream was already fading away so I woke up after that.

    15. First lucid since joining!

      I finally did it! Immediately wrote it down when I awoke, althought I didn't get lucid until near the end of the dream.

      I was visiting a large shopping centre, in a bookshop. On my way out I was accused of stealing by the shopkeeper and she tried to grab me, I resisted because I knew I was innocent. Eventually I pushed her away from me and walked out the shop, at this point it became apparent that I was with some school teachers and I was a student. Obviously the teachers were very angry with my behaviour and started shouting at me as I walked away, ignoring them I carried on through the mall. Still walking away I noticed an old friend had come up beside me and told me that she skips school a lot with her friends. She then told me that they like to go and lucid dream when they skip school. We carried on walking until we left the shopping centre, outside it was a dark very cloudy night. Me and my friend sat on a ledge overlooking a back road down below, she told me that she wanted to jump down but she was scared of hurting herself. I looked at her and told her that it was a dream and it didn't matter, so she jumped and disappeared from my vision.

      It was then that an old style london taxi cab came reversing down the road below me, I read the last 3 numbers of the rear license plate, it carried on reversing until I could see the front license plate. I read the front plate, noticing it was different from the rear, I read it again and it had changed. This was how I became lucid.

      Realizing I was in a dream now, I read the license plate a couple more times noticing the changes. Telling myself I was dreaming over and over again helped me calm down a little. So I thought the next thing I should do is some more RC's, still sat on the ledge, I looked at my hands and tried counting my fingers and then pinched my nose while trying to breath.

      I remembered the next thing to do would be to stabilize the dream, so I started rubbing my hands together while taking my surroundings in. The sky was dark and cloudy but bright stars were still shining through casting light onto the scene. The shopping centre was still behind me and the road was below me, the taxi had stopped now. I stood up and looked back to the sky, I wanted it to be day. So I focused on where I thought the sun should be and snapped my fingers to try and change the time of day. Instead what happened was a flash of lightning. But as I watched I realised that the same area kept flashing with light, it looked like the sun was blinking on and off like a light bulb trying to turn on.

      Giving up I went into the shopping centre, where I noticed a door that wasn't there before. I was reaching for the handle when my sister opened the door and asked if I would like to come in, I said yes and squeezed past her. It was a very posh looking hotel room. She and her friends were sat on a bed counting down to midnight like it was new years.

      I'm not sure what happened really after that, I think I began to lose control of the dream and woke up not long after.
