    Non-Lucid Dreams

    1. 9/13/11 Flash from the Past and Present

      1) I am looking through the minatures of a Warhammer army, wood elves, but corrupted... A dark treant, and a dragon were the leaders.

      2) Non-lucid with my sister and two friends. Odd setting and situation... I become lucid, my sister (my subconscious more like) laughs and points out that the whole room is wrong, and completely unreal. LUCID.

      -Skip-

      My sub conscious shocks me for thinking self defeating thoughts, and I am bothered by it. "Don't do that. Wait... No, that's good for me... But... No... Gah!" I ask for someone. Raven from the Teen Titans (at least somewhat mixed with Cyborg...), she is furious. I calm her down.
    2. Walter White Wants the Whopper Car

      Nice piece of alliteration there in the title. Anyways...

      This whole dream took place during the day, more in the afternoon, and in a parking lot that was a good 75x75 feet, with smooth asphalt on the entire ground and a fence on all four sides. This fence consisted of four rectangular wooden stakes that were flat on top, and a black mesh connecting them on all four sides of the lot; the mesh was fairly transparent but you'd have to squint to see what's past it on the other side.

      Three adjacent sides of the lot were lined with cars, arranged very neatly in parking spaces so that their fronts were facing the fence and their bumpers were facing into the lot. You could see all the license plates, but given the situation in the dream I didn't bother looking at them. Smack-dab in the middle of the parking lot, facing the middle row of cars, was a shiny red Challenger. In it were Walter, in the driver's seat, and in the passenger seat was Skyler White of Breaking Bad. Walter was wearing a paler green shirt, while Skyler was more dressed up in a black pinstripe suit and white shirt; it looked like she had just gotten home from work or something.

      During all of this, I was watching from the middle backseat of the car. I wasn't present in the dream at all as a person, but I was simply like a camera that was observing the pair. The interior of the car was grey, with black leather seats (it's a pretty weird-looking color scheme if you were to see it...) and there was a larger-than-normal storage box in between the two front seats, although I forget what the technical name for it is.

      I knew that Walter and Skyler were looking at a car to buy their son, Walter Jr., whose birthday was coming up. They were running out of time to decide which vehicle to buy. However, they had already looked at a few different "parking lots" full of cars, so I guess this was the final decision.

      Skyler spoke first, saying, "I like the mini". There wasn't a mini in the parking lot though, just pickup trucks and midsize cars.

      Walter replied after a brief pause. "We should go to Burger King and get the Whopper."

      He was in fact referring to a car, and not the restaurant.

    3. Telekinesis Ground Offensive

      Notes:
      My recall is returning with school, as I believed would happen! This entry is from a short nap I took yesterday.

      It was daytime; I was outside on a vast plane of land. You could see nothing else but flat ground covered in dead grass, except for one long, stretched-out hill that looked like the raised side of a ditch. This hill, raised a good seven or eight feet off the flat ground, went on for at least a mile, and this was where I was walking. The entire area had a vacant air to it, and the sky was a single-tone hue of rather pale blue which helped to create this atmosphere. Besides my own rather brisk walking movements along the top of the hill, everything was still. It almost felt like I was indoors, but not quite. I kept walking and eventually started heading down the hill, but not sharply; I took my time and mostly kept going forward. The perspective right now was in third-person, and I was viewing myself from the ground level about ten feet away.

      The perspective changed, however, a few moments after I saw a girl in a pretty blue dress come into my third-person vision. She had blonde hair and was a bit younger than me, but not by much. She was fairly slim. I was now viewing things in first-person. I took a few more steps, looking down the length of the hill. I then felt her presence and turned to look behind me, upwards towards the top of this hill. I saw her there and I felt threatened, so I started walking up towards her with a glare in my eyes and gestured suddenly with my right hand, pushing it up into the air and slightly towards the left.

      The ground ripped up in a big chunk along the top of the hill, right in front of the girl, sending dry clods of dirt and brown dust everywhere. The cloud of dust was probably only a bit taller than my own height of 5.4", but some of it sank down the sides of the hill.

      "Get out of here," I warned her as the cloud was still clearing up.

      She was nowhere to be found after the dust vanished, but I knew she wasn't gone quite yet.

    4. Dorm and Knives

      I was in a dorm of some sort, and a school. Preparing for something, saw my light-colored pants in the cabinet. Outside, we were playing volleyball. Then I have to go somewhere. I prepared two knives. I inserted them into my nails, one on one toe and the other on one finger. Somehow, I realized a problem with that, and I pulled out the knife out of my fingernail, and it has a lengthy "tail," or the area that was inserted under the fingernail for it to hold properly. I felt aghast, and saw the red blood starting to come out.

      Then I looked at the one on my toe, and decided to leave it there, because I can use it to kick attackers. Mood is gloomy.

      NOTE: When I woke up, found my only remaining pants is a light-colored one.
    5. Several Dreams Tonight.....Getting Back Recall...

      I will eternally be mad at myself for not posting this sooner today. I rolled out of bed this morning and immediately typed some notes of what I remember into my phone, but they were only notes, and now (11 hours later) some of it is complete nonsense talk to me, and what I do remember is very vague, but the more i think about it the more I remember. So here I go:
      (btw, these dreams are completely out of order, i have no idea how i dreamt them chronologically)

      #1 - The Buzzcut
      This is a short one. All i remember is that I was in my house, and suddenly decided that my hair was just too damn long and it infuriated me (which is weird because my hair was normal length in the dream). So, I went into the bathroom of my fictional house (the house I called my own in my dream was actually not my house or any house I've ever been in), grabbed the electric razor that I don't have in real life and very carefully started to cut my hair with it. I didn't necessarily give myself a buzzcut, as I was very precise with sculpting my hair with the razor in the dream, but I did cut a lot off. And in the end, I'm proud to say it looked like crap.

      #2 - The Pool
      In this dream I was at a very large public pool shaped liked a very large, boxy lowercase b (or q, depending of which side of the pool you were on). The water level was oddly about 15 ft below the edges of the pool, the surrounding areas of the pool laden with tables with red umbrellas. The pool was very deep, an undefined amount actually, because in the dream, sinking and drowning was of no concern. You just floated. There were also several pillars sticking out of the water, and I said the pool was shaped like a b (or q) because there was a middle square elevated on a single pillar that hung over the center of the pool. I was just swimming around, and nonchalantly started to swim as fast as a jet-ski, as it never occurred to me that this was not normal. I should also mention that I wasn't swimming in the normal sense. I had my legs together and straight with my arms down at my sides, and my head and back arched up, being propelled across the water by some magical nonexistent force. I controlled my speed just by thinking about it. This dream was probably inspired by me reading a dream journal entry by CasperKid:

      #3 - Trip to Space Ship
      In this dream, I was on some sort of field trip with a class or other group of students. We were allowed into a space ship orbiting earth (how we got to space, I don't know), and we were only allowed in because we were students. Normal people had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to be allowed in. Ha. (It was the equivalent of being allowed into a museum exhibition before its finished because you're on a learning trip). So, I hung out and fooled around with anti-gravity and watched a toddler play with toy cars on a ramp. (The surface of everything inside the ship was a glossy black bordered with red). It was a strange dream.

      #4 - Alternate People
      In the beginning, I was walking through a street on a cloudy afternoon with a group of "friends" (people I've never seen before but happened to be my friends in this dream). We were walking along when a truck pulled up and out stepped a vaguely similar "clone" of one of my "friends." (The kind of similarity between actors and stunt doubles, where they have very similar characteristics, but are really just wearing the exact same outfit). We were dumbfounded.
      Then I was in my "house," in the garage looking outside (it was about noon now, and perfectly sunny) at an old fashioned truck that I had parked at an angle just outside of the garage. I turned around to talk to my "family," and when I turned back around, there were about a dozen "alternate people" resembling my "family" members standing outside in my driveway. I flew into a panic, to the same level of hysteria as if I just saw a hundred zombies charging at me. I angrily yelled at one female alternate wearing a yellow polo shirt like an insane person. Then the dream ended.


      I had one other dream in which I was in a classroom, got bored, took a dump in my old teacher's office and ran away, outside and under some kind of hooded walkway, but I lost too much of the dream and can't describe it in much detail. All I can say is that I ran into Warren D. and Dominic H. standing next to a wooden "NO GUNS" sign posted under a tree in a college-campus like environment.

      That's all....I hope I continue to get my recall back....I'll have to keep practicing...

    7. First entry, Weird dream.

      This is my first entry.
      I'm not going to write in this everyday, only some speciel dreams. I thinks dreams, especially some dreams, are personally. But I just wanna share some few dreams.

      Okay,

      I was in a room, and watched TV. There was a video about Africa in the TV. It made me sad. It was about a mother and her childrens. I didn't wanted to watch it again.
      It became evening, and I was sitting in my room. Suddently, my brother came in with a computer, and showed me the video on youtube. I didn't wanted to watch it! I wanted to wake up (I wasn't lucid, but in a strange way, I knew I was dreaming). I "woke up" in my bed, and thought a lot about it. It was a shame. I totally forgot to do a RC. I wrote it down in my dream journal. And then I woke up for real. I wanted to read (I thought it was real, it was so vivid!) but I couldn't find it!

      An interesting dream, hah? :3

    8. Two short lucid dreams for a newbie

      Hello everyone. I am new to this but I have been used allot of time lately on this and feel little obsessed by it. However, thought I could share my experiences the last week. I usually remember dreams every morning but the last week it had been allot of party so only remember two of them but in return they are both my first and second lucid dreams even I only was lucid for a few seconds both times.

      Wednesday 7 September, non-lucid to lucid
      I was a place which reminded me of my hometown and near the house where I grew up. There was allotting of people in the streets and they where all playing with water. I was lying at the back of a pickup truck and cuddle with a girl. I was hiding from my gf who was cycling around the area. Afterwards I went to a building and found a guy I worked with for many years ago. He and his friend were borrowing the room next to mine for sleeping.

      I was sitting on the grass at my grandfather’s farm. There was lots of people there and some family members. I spoke to my mother who sat across me. She told me that my grandfather (who recently died) was lucky to be buried near this place. Suddenly she disappeared when I looked away for a short moment and I looked at my hands and realized I was dreaming.

      I got so excited and walked little and jumped high into the air but in the same time I regret it as I have read here that I should take it easy and try stabilize the dream first. The dream became unclear and then turned black. I tried to spin but wake up in my bed and did some RC, just to make sure I did not have a false awakening.

      Tuesday 13 September, non-lucid to lucid
      I was in a room connected to a house with a small garden in between. I saw a huge group of people who was coming up the road to the house. I knew this had happened before and knew that the group would be busy with some other things before they would attack me. I looked at the house and thought about last time and when i barricade myself in the house and I remembered all of the rooms there. I was thinking about to use the same strategy and then it suddenly hit me that I was dreaming and i looked at my hands which was strange and I became lucid.

      I was calmer this time but very excited in body and the dream started to be unclear. I walked to a storeroom and spin around and the dream get more clear again but not for long. Then I tried to rub my hands together and helped for a few seconds before I wake up and did some RC.

      Not good enough but I believe I am on the right way.

      I was in my living room which was as brightly lit as it usually is in the day time. My partner was there and she was talking to someone else in the room, aside me. I think this was my dad but I don't remember anything else.
    10. Dancers/Puppy/Guy

      No luck again last night I will try harder tonight. I am determined!

      Anyway. First dream:

      I am in a store (Nordstroms, I think), in the back. It doesn't look like a warehouse, but that is the purpose it serves, this is where they keep all their items before putting them on the shelves. It's also connects to some sort of performance hall. There are dancers around. One of the dancers is talking to me, and tells me that there is a special discount magazine for people who have been confirmed dancers for two years. I want to get the discounts, but I have not been a confirmed dancer for two years. A big group of girls is by me, and they start singing. They are mostly Latina. A large black girl in the front is singing a solo.

      Second dream:
      I meet a boy. Me or my sisters have recently started playing some new game, and the book we use is open. Me and the boy are talking about it. I have a baby with me, and he takes it from me and walks somewhere. I follow him and see him exit a building. I go back to my original spot, (but I know that he will be coming back there soon) and my younger sister comes up and coaches me. She points out that I am wearing socks that say "Blondes" on them, and this boy is a brunette, and that might hurt his feelings. I put my shoes on to hide my socks, but she tries to convince me to put on one of her shoes, which is velcro and much too small for me. This confuses me.

      Third dream:
      I'm riding in a car with E, S, and probably A although I don't really remember who the third person was. It's more like a sled though - it has no roof or doors, and I feel concerned about this. I drop my cellphone off the side, and we pull over and I run back and get it.

      At some point in one of my dreams I think I had a new puppy, but I don't remember.

      [COLOR="silver"]This night I tried to WILD before normal sleep. I have heard that it is impossible, but I was thinking and thought, if we can
      be aware of a dream, to be lucid in that sense. And still be able to rest, wouldn't it be possible to stay have the mind awake the whole night and let the body rest. This is called Yoga Nidra "Conscious sleep". I have allways told myself that a dream is just a thought, but a vivid thought and I have even seen my thoughts become a dream in a WBTB DEILD.
      So if I can just stay aware until my thoughts, become vivid then it should be possible.
      I considered the problem of staying awake long enough for that to happend, but I came up with an idea to keep my mind busy and to totally forget about my physical body.

      I like visualization, and day dreaming in that sense. I thought that if a dream is a vivid thought, then a thought must still be the closest to a dream that I can come while being awake. So my method to keep my mind busy is to daydream, but not the nornal way. Usually when we day dream we think about something and associate it with something else and suddenly we think about anything and then we fall asleep.

      I started out by going through memories of my day in my mind, as detailed as possible. When this was done I assumed that I was perfectly relaxed, my body felt numb and uncomfortable feelings started to appear. Now I pretended that I was going to separate from my physical body into my non-physical body, pretend that I WILD so to speak.

      So I visualised that I went out of my bed and I chosed two objects in each room in my house to explore.
      And when I come to the kitchen I started to lose consiousnes from time to time, but I returned to the visualisation.
      Eventually I lost it completely and I had a dream.

      Then I was walking home from that schooldream and suddenly I realised that it was a dream.[/COLOR]
      [COLOR="red"]I didn't stabilise I was not aware enough in my mind to do that for some reason, instead I looked around and were surprised that I remembered this much from the real world, because it was a real location.
      I took pace and ran and jumped and started to fly, I have had many fly dreams now so I had enough confidence to control this flying. And this time I decided to fly to the universe! When I were up there and saw the starts and the empty black space I started to accelarate and it almost felt like falling. And I fell and fell and suddenly I was back in my bed.[/COLOR]
      [COLOR="blue"]I heard my mom screaming "Your dad is shopping clothes!". "In the middle of the night?!" I said surprised. "Yeah go back to sleep" she said. And when I did I woke up for real...[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="silver"]On my real awakening I did a reality check and I was now awake. I looked at the clock and it was now 4.40, so I went back to sleep.[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="blue"]I was now standing in my tv room and a person I don't really like was laying on the couch and eating popcorn, this was a weird dream and I don't really remember it.

      Then I was walking into a Chinese store, I looked at a t-shirt and it was a cool background and a text saying "Zhore".
      I then saw a bowl of red balls, I asked what it was and the person behind the disk said "Dragoneggs" and then I woke up.[/COLOR]

    12. Midsummer Nightmare

      My dream, this past night, was non-lucid. I wasn't aware I was dreaming until seconds before I awoke.
      I was in a field surrounded by silver roses when a person came up to me, asking for help. I wasn't sure why, but I trusted this person. He took my hand and led me into a forest filled with several types of trees.
      In the middle of the entire forest was a weeping willow. It was larger than most but it was still beautiful.
      The man sat with me under the tree for a time and I looked around, wondering why there were no animals that should be there.
      I looked over at the male and saw his eyes flash a deep sapphire blue before turning back to a jade emermald.
      I didn't think as I stood and ran.
      Now that I think about it, when I woke up, I saw a snake following me just before I left the dream.
      What do you all think?

      I was in this alley way with some people from school. then some really shady people came along and I left. I then heard yelling so I thought there was a fight, so I ran back. I forget what happened...

      I was about to try and bum a cigarette off of my friend's friend, but then decided that would be annoying, so I stopped halfway through asking him. My friend would doesn't smoke in real life then gave me one.

    14. Living on a Half-Water Molecule

      I was in a rectangular room that was about 20x15 feet. It had polished hardwood floors, and a rectangular red shag carpet in the corner. Two of the walls, one long and the short one adjacent to it, each had a greyish-tan fireplace that, instead of having short rectangular stones, consisted of the rounder kind like you'd find at the beach, except much bigger. It almost looked like something out of a cartoon. The fires were on in both of them. In the middle of the room, off more to the left and away from the red carpet, was a small round coffee table.

      The overall atmosphere of the room was comfortable. There was a warm glow emanating within the room, though the lights were somewhat dimmed. There was also music in the background, but it was so soft I don't know if it was ambient noise, or a stereo playing on very low volume.

      Along with me, there was a few people standing in the room, to the right of the coffee table. I had watched X-Men: First Class a few days back, so this must be where some of the characters came from. I saw Michael Fassbender's rendition of Magneto, in a white shirt and tan pants, talking to Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones), who was wearing a green hoodie and jeans. Finally, I saw Seth Green (no idea where he came from!), and he was wearing a pale brown T-shirt. He was with the other two people, but then he turned to me and gestured for me to come over. I obeyed and briefly greeted Magneto and Banshee, but I don't remember if I said anything. Seth faced the group and held his hand up, appearing to be holding a tiny ball in his fingers. I looked closer and it was a light blueish ball of swirling air, no bigger than a marble.

      "This," said Seth, "is the first-ever half-water molecule. This is what we're on right now."

      I was fascinated. This dream was sort of like Avatar, except we were asleep right now and had another set of bodies on a different planet.

      The dream then fast-forwarded, and I saw Banshee and Magneto passing a smaller beach ball back and forth, standing closer to the rug this time. Magneto looked as if he was having difficulty catching it and squinted as the ball came to him, which wasn't really 'floating' up in the air the way a normal beach ball would. I didn't say anything to them, but I remember standing off to the side and looking at Banshee, suspicious, thinking he wasn't supposed to be there.

      Another skip occurred, and I was now in a rather fancy restroom. This room was sort of L-shaped, with the first line being around ten feet long, five feet wide (there was a door on the end), which connected to the second line which was much fatter and almost more square-shaped, ten feet wide and fifteen feet long. The restroom had beautiful, larger shiny brown tiles that were mutely swirled with a golden color, and along the right side of the squarer part of the restroom was one long white counter with three or four sinks. There were also two sinks, in another white countertop, in the long section near the entrance. Back to the square section, on the left of the sinks were pale green cubicles. They looked like the ones at my school, but they were nicer, with gold and bronze plating down the edges, and they were a bit wider than normal cubicles.

      I remember "knowing" that my mom was going to come into the room, and I was going to discuss the possibility of using water to induce lucid dreaming with her.

    15. Angry Birds...

      I find myself at my mother’s house with two of my older brothers. In the dream, I know it’s my mother’s house but it’s not the same house as in the waking world. My mother is complaining because some baby ducks are either trapped or holed up underneath the house and/or porch and they keep “chirping”.

      My parents have a 2 ½ acre yard with a pond in the back half of it. When I was little, we had ducks on the property, so it was not unusual back then to see baby ducks around the house now and then.

      Anyway, in the dream, my Mom is afraid the baby ducks will die if they’re not rescued, plus the chirping is driving her nuts. So me and my two brothers crawl under the house/porch and retrieve the baby ducks. In doing so, we also find that there are some small green birds under there as well. They’re about the size of a small mouse. I pick up one of the birds and as I do, it tries to bite my hand. Luckily, I have gloves on. I tell my brothers, “It’s trying to bite me.” One of them says something like, “Yeah, watch out. They’re mean and they bite!” I can’t seem to stop the bird I’m holding from trying to bite me, and I’m starting to lose my grip on it, so instinctively, I squeeze the bird as hard as I can to try and kill it. It seems to work, because the bird stops moving. I look around for a place to dispose of it, but don’t see any trash cans around. So I end up just tossing it into the bushes.

      I usually remember more than one dream during the night. But I'm on vacation in Honduras scuba diving and sleeping in a strange bed. I tossed and turned and only got about 5 hours of sleep.
