      Hidden Poison
I am in my Fire Valkyrie on my way to the moon. I realize many of my dreams will be starting like this since I am trying a different hypnosis program when I fall asleep which ironically enough involves a trip to the moon during the process of relaxation. So I am able to start this dream off lucid. I land on the moon and explore the craters briefly before deciding to open a portal to somewhere I might be needed. I trace out a circle in front of me which becomes a portal and I go through it. I enter into a garden of some kind which looks like the numerous small garden enclosures in Florence in Assassin's Creed II.

It is night time and I am not sure why I have come here. I am looking at the garden when someone runs in looking quite frantic. He grabs me by my robes and says I have to save him, the person after him is going to kill him. The guy looks like he is about to piss his pants… smells like he already has. I ask who is trying to kill him, he says it is an Assassin. What is he, a Templar? He says he has no idea what a Templar is. He looks like he is lying. A man enters the garden and stops, looking at me strangely. He is dressed like an Assassin. The man who was running hides behind me, looking quite pathetic. The Assassin mocks him for hiding behind a girl. He then looks at my robes and says the man chose the wrong woman to try to hide behind. He says the coward behind me was trying to poison the city's water supply. The coward says the Assassin is lying. The Assassin says the poison is in a vial in the man's pouch. The man refuses to show me what is in his pouch. More people have arrived in the garden. A bunch of guards. The coward hiding behind me laughs and tells the guards to kill both the Assassin and me, since apparently we are working together. So a fight breaks out. I use my Witchblade sword, which seems to surprise everyone when it forms. The Assassin and I fight against what I estimate to be eight guards, until six of them are dead and two of them think better of continuing to fight and run away. The Assassin climbs up a wall and grabs hold of the fleeing man, the one who had originally hidden behind me, and kills him before throwing the body back into the enclosure. I still have my sword out, not sure if he's going to attack me, but he says we are on the same side here. So I put my sword away. When I get a better look at him I see it looks like he is Ezio Auditore.

I confirm that it is Ezio, he says we need to get somewhere safe before the body is found. He turns to leave, apparently expecting me to follow, but he will soon find there is no one there because it is here that I wake up.

      Bullies
I am climbing around on the roofs of Florence in a full virtual reality version of Assassin's Creed II. But I am not playing as Ezio… I am playing as a female Assassin.

It is awesome. I wonder how come I didn't get this virtual reality system sooner. I am collecting eagle feathers from the roofs of the buildings, looking to find the last of the feathers in Florence. I jump from one roof to another to grab a feather. I wonder how hard it will be to climb to the highest places in virtual reality when the possibility of falling looks so real. I look down to determine if the heights will bother me. I have never been afraid of heights in my waking life, and I am not afraid of heights now. I see some assholes down below me. Four sizeable guys are pushing one woman around, I hear them talking about taking turns at her. One of them says they should go somewhere more private. Another says he knows where they won't be bothered. Being unafraid of heights, I jump down off of the roof and land right behind one of the assholes. I tell them to leave the woman alone or there's going to be trouble. Three of the four men laugh. The fourth one looks scared, which I had expected laughter from all of them. One of the laughing men said two women means twice as much fun. The scared person is repeating the word 'ass' over and over again. One of the men grabs my arm and says if I relax maybe I'll have some fun, too. The scared guy finally yells that I am an Assassin and turns and runs out into the street, he runs flat into a guard. The guard starts pushing him around and he keeps pointing and yelling that there is an Assassin over there. I comment that one of them has a brain… let go of me and leave the woman alone, last chance. He tries to pull me with him, still laughing. I nail him with my hidden blade. Another says no bitch is going to take him out. He charges at me and practically skewers himself on my other hidden blade. The fourth one runs away in the same direction the first one went. I notice that the guards don't seem to be taking their claims of an Assassin seriously. They are mocking the two men. The woman thanks me for saving her life. I see the two men get hot headed with the guards, they start throwing insults and get themselves arrested. The woman thanks me again and then hurries off down the street, seeming in a hurry to get somewhere. I climb back up the wall of the building. It seems harder to climb than I had expected it to be. Is it because it's virtual reality? Maybe… As I am climbing the wall I feel like I am going to fall, but I fall into my bed as I wake up.
    2. 12-12-28 New Trick to Make Flight Easier!

      by , 12-27-2012 at 11:42 PM
So at work (where else) I came up with a brilliant idea to fix my flying problems. You see, I often have no trouble taking off, but end up losing altitude; or find myself unable to move from vertical to horizontal flight without losing too much altitude. It's a mental issue, I know. I can't "unfeel" gravity 100%, so it continues to exist a little. So if I can't cancel it, I can at least beat it! I was in a dream a few nights ago, and found myself flying. When I remembered the trick I invented, I tried it. I pretended my hands and feet were thrusters, like on Iron Man's suit. It worked. I took off vertically, and went high. Higher than what I usually manage. And I went fast. Very fast. This experiment was a success, and I'll use that trick every time from here on out.

    3. Lucid dream from last week

      by , 12-27-2012 at 10:20 PM
      I realize Im dreaming.

I remember what my intention was. (I decide what to try in my next lucid dream before I hit it)

This time, my intention was to try and meet another dream character and ask it weather it also was dreaming, or if it was in my dream. So I meet someone. It is an older male figure. I feel he knows stuff. I ask him, "are you dreaming right now too?" He says nothing. So I ask another question, "Are you in my dream?" Still quiet...
Then I ask him, "is this all just a giant dream, in which both you and I co-exist kinda like just being here..?" Then he looks at me, with a nice big smile on his face, as if I'm on to something. I remember feeling excited, getting the chills. That old feeling of me loosing control over the dream hits me.

      Then I wake up.

    4. Lucid dream from this summer.

      by , 12-27-2012 at 10:14 PM
(awaken) I'm laying in my bed watching the film "Waking life" and fall asleep right after a scene in the film where they talk about how you can become lucid by switching the lights on/off and see if nothing happens, or take a look at your arm watch for weird looks.

Now Im dreaming. I'm outside a house talking to a person. Now I begin to question if this is a dream or not, and I remember the "trick" from the movie I saw before I fell asleep, with the light switch on/off. So I go in to the house looking for a switch, I find one, click it, and nothing happens - I'M DREAMING!

As I realize Im in a dream I everything gets blurry and I get that old feeling of me loosing control. So I wake up in my bed, where I fell asleep watching the film. I go up from bed, out to the kitchen to get a drink, and on my way back to the bedroom I begin questioning if this too might be a dream, laughing at myself for even thinking about it. But I take my questioning seriously anyway, so I start looking for my iPhone to watch if the "clock-trick" would work. And it did, the numbers were all messy and i realize that I still am dreaming. again.

So now Im in my bedroom, dreaming. Wow. What should I do next? I go out to the balcony and think about what to do. As I stand on the balcony I realize I could do what I want. I hang from it, climb the walls, fly to another rooftop. Then I decide to just dive with my head right on the concrete ground too se what happens. I do, and I wake up in my bed. I go up from bed again thinking, now I must have waken up, I look at the watch again, still dreaming......

This went on, five times, and I tried doing different stuff each time I realized I still was dreaming. The sixth time I woke up "for real" and was so excited I cant describe it with words. I felt "high" the rest of the day, for days too come.

So this lucid dream experience really made me realize that there's a whole other world, right here. It is as real as this world Im in right now, writing this. I just cant see it when in this state. Ever since this dream this summer I've had more and more, more frequent lucid dreams. Last weeks, months, have been real intense and Im gonna try keeping a journal here.

    5. 27th Dec 2012 Dream Fragments & first successful DILD!

by , 12-27-2012 at 07:47 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
My dream recall seems to be pretty meh today, but oh well.

      Dream 1:
Don't remember most of the dream. There was some stuff/events happening inside some sort of spaceship. Later i was at home doing stuff at my comp(I am sure there's some stuff between spaceship events and that, just can't remember it...). Then i was on the street intersection, where my mom was arguing with someone that he was driving incorrectly or something, and eventually more and more people was around and i ran away for some reason. Then i was at home again watching some videos on different PC. Something ticked me off about these videos and i was like "I must be dreaming...", and then "Wait a second...", "I am dreaming!". As i was about to do some dream stabilization i turned around and i saw chandelier that was in that room, and it was moving and felt 'alive'(seems to be recurring DC in my dreams once in a while actually). As soon as i looked at it, my vision was like i was looking from three different places at same time(trippy! hehe), and everything went dark, and then i woke up.

Note: I prolly should have done WBTB at this point, since i had like one more hour of sleep left, but i completely forgot to and instead went to sleep after writing what i could remember from that dream.

      Dream 2:
There was some sort of race and apparently racers had a break so i was trying to show them what i created in fraxy. Ended up misclicking and showing someone else's creations, though eventually i did showed what i wanted to show.

Note: Don't remember much of this dream prolly because alarm woke me up, it tends to murder my dream recall at times.
    6. Dec 27 2012

      by , 12-27-2012 at 07:11 PM
This morning I woke up hysterically crying. I was fighting with my husband who has been cheating on me for the last 2 1/2 years. I found that even after trying to work things out that he had still been seeing her and her two kids. They were living on the street behind us and we were living at my grandmothers old house. I was asking him to show me her house. We were standing in front of someone else's house as he wouldn't take me there. He sat down and had his head in his hands and finally answered a question I was asking him "why are you still seeing her?" ... His answer was that the girl was his child and a little while later that the boy was his also. This brought me to an uncontrollable crying moment ... This is when I woke up out of my sleep and heard myself crying/whimpering. This is the most emotional dream I have ever encountered. And hope never again!

    7. Flying Car

      12/27/12

      DEILD

I had a series of dreams that took place at the same setting in a row. I became lucid in the first or second, and I was able to either DEILD or DILD rapidly in each. I am not sure if I fully woke up in between all of them, or if the dream just "restarted". I forgot a few in the middle; here are the ones I remember.

The initial dream started with a group of people my age helping out the middle school theater departments. I had to help out with Brooks and Julian. I was walking up a ramp with Ben and Jack. I saw that Brendan was behind me, so I called to the other guys because he had been gone for awhile. Jack said he already saw Brendan and we waved and moved on.

I became lucid at the top of the stairs, and I tell my friend that this is a dream. I fly to the top of a light post and hang on. I do a few more short distance flights and lose the dream.

I am in the same place, and I meet with a girl and we get into a giant dump truck. I am thinking of doing things with her, but I play it off like I was trying to show her dumping the truck load (rimshot). I push the button and lose the dream.

I start at the top of the ramp again. Some people are getting into a car, so I get into the back left seat. It turns out there are 3 rows, like a station wagon. There are 3 people in the back 2 rows. I get in and say, "guess what? This is a dream! We can do whatever we want!" I look back and I see Lindsay V. in the back right corner. She says," No, this is MY dream." I am shocked. Is this another dreamer? She was in one of my previous non-lucids at this location. She was wearing a white sox hoodie, and I was deciding if I should wear the identical one I have. I look to the back seat and mention the hoodie. She never saw me in it, but I told her about it, hoping she would remember in real life.

The car is being driven by Margaret H., and we are going down Evans by DU. I am feeling the dream start to fade again and this time I remembered a lucid pill. I look in one pocket and only find some powder. I eat it anyway; it doesn't help. I put my finger under my nose (like I was going to stop myself from sneezing) and for some reason that stabilizes the dream a bit. I reach into the other pocket and find a pill. I break it open and eat the powder inside. I am feeling good now.

I reach both arms out and raise them slowly. The car begins to take off from the ground. Margaret doesn't have much of a reaction. We are flying over some prairie near the mountains. I dip my shoulders to the left and the car banks. I open the door and reach out to touch the water we are flying over. We straighten back up for a bit. I do another hand motion and the car corkscrews upside-down. I jump off my seat and land on the inside of the roof. There is a large amount of head room. I can crouch and easily clear the passengers heads so I do the russian "hut-hut" dance. The other passengers laugh. I then try a backflip. But right after I jump, Margaret reverts the car and I land on my head in my seat. I lose the dream soon after.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Had yet another lucid dream this morning, it wasn't much this one either but still had a bit of fun.

      01.30: Sleep

11.00: Sliding and flying and starting fires DILD
I'm at my friend G's mom's house. There's a candle or something on a table next to me and I'm holding a bottle of perfume. I throw the bottle at the flame and it blows up. I duck to avoid the big fireball. I throw another bottle and run for the door. The bottle explodes and the entire place is on fire. For some reason I have just managed to burn G's mom alive, she was a dice on the table (?). I follow a couple of train tracks.

I suddenly realize I'm dreaming. 'Ah good, then I don't have to worry about his mom'. I keep on following the train tracks and arrive at a small shed. I try to imagine finding a hot girl in there but when I look inside there's no one there. I usually don't have problems summoning people. I decide to stabilize the dream a bit so I rub my hands on the tracks and pick up some dirt just to feel it. Everything becomes clearer. I hear a sound nearby and look up. No one's in the shed still, but G comes walking down the tracks. I'm worried he's pissed because of his mom but he seems fine. I stand up on the tracks. "Watch this" I say and slide on them. G mimics me and soon we're going really fast. After sliding for a little while I understand that I can't go any faster. I jump and start to fly instead. I have trouble controlling the momentum but it works decently. I turn around and fly back when the dream starts to fade.

      12.00: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 10˝ hours

      Supplements: None

      That's it!

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!

In which I stumbled into North Korea...

An emergency call brings us outside of Seoul to the DMZ where a group of 2012 Apocalypse believers has committed mass suicide. We fly an ambulance plane to a circle of bodies on a hillside. About a dozen young Japanese immigrant women, dressed in kimonos, have gutted themselves with swords- harakiri-style. Some are still alive, writhing around in a mess of blood and intestines.

Each emergency responder drives his or her own ambulance plane, a single-person ultra-light aircraft like a Pipistrel. We carry the dying or dead cult members in pods attached to each wing. When my two pods are both full, I fly to the nearest emergency room in the DMZ which happens to be in a subway-like network of tunnels. The passage is almost too narrow to navigate without clipping the wings of my plane.

I land safely, and several medics run over with stretchers to take the women from the pods, then they rush off down a tunnel before I have the chance to speak to them. This is my first trip ever to the DMZ, and I don’t know how to get out of the tunnel network. I can’t fly my plane backwards, and there isn’t enough space for me to turn it around. I take off on foot down the tunnel after the medics but I quickly find myself at a fork and must decide which way to turn. Holding up a wet finger to check for air flow, I choose the direction that I assume will lead me back above ground.

Soon enough I’m standing in the open air in a plane parking lot. Hundreds of Pipistrels and small Cesnas are packed side-by-side so densely that I must climb over wings and crawl between wheels to make it across the lot. After some time, I notice I’m no longer climbing over planes but instead climbing over giant Chinese dragon parade floats. Then after some more time, I’m climbing over F-16 and F-35 fighter jets.

Eventually I come to the end of the lot where I take a bridge over a ditch and then walk up a hill towards a shopping strip. There is a bakery directly in front of me with neon signs of Korean lettering selling sweet rice cakes with red bean paste. I’m completely confused about where I am, but I’m also very hungry so I decide to enter the shop, get a bite to eat and ask the clerk how to get back to Seoul.

As I get closer to the shopping strip, I notice that the buildings are dilapidated and the people shopping in them are older and less fashionable than the people you normally see shopping about in South Korea. I purchase a dessert and ask the clerk where we are. He tells me that I’m in Kaesong. I try not to reveal how shocked I am. I can feel the panic in my body and my mind races through my options, but I decide the most inconspicuous thing to do is to continue to sit and finish my sweet rice cake. It’s hard to swallow.

I leave the shopping strip and head back down the hill towards the bridge. I decide just to crawl back through the lot of fighter jets, Chinese dragons and single-person planes towards the Southern side of the DMZ, but before I even step off the bridge, a few North Korean military men point guns at me. I hold my hands up in the air and brace myself to be shot, but instead they put me in the back of a jeep and drive me to a dingy office in a concrete building overlooking a river. A North Korean woman sits behind a desk. She has a kind face, and I hope for a moment that she will be reasonable.

I explain that I’m an American medic living in Seoul and that I’ve stumbled across the border accidentally. I ask her if I can just walk back across the bridge; surely she can just phone the people on the other side and see that my story checks out? She smiles at me sympathetically and says, “You’re in pretty big trouble.”

I don’t have a passport or identification. They suspect that I’m a spy, and even if my story is true, I’ve already seen that they have hundreds of F-35s. No one in the world knows about this, so there is no way they are going to let me go home. I’ll be under house-arrest indefinitely. The kind-faced woman explains this to me very calmly, then she takes me by the hand and leads me to a house where I’m to live out the rest of my days with a North Korean family. They feed me a nice meal and send me to bed, but I can’t sleep. I keep thinking of the American hikers who stumbled into Iran several years ago and were detained for years. No one believed their story; we all wondered how they could’ve done something so idiotic.

I’m in bed watching the intense starlight flood in through the window when the son of the North Korean family with whom I’m lodged slips into my room. He’s wearing a black wool felt Alpine hat, workers trousers and shepherd’s snow boots, and he’s extremely good looking. He hands me a medic’s kit and some papers that explain that I’m a volunteer guest of the North Korean government with permission to travel the villages administering vaccinations. He explains that without a passport or a North Korean guide, these papers aren’t enough for me to cross the border or fool the authorities, but they will allow me to pass the streets and between towns. The trick is to be inconspicuous enough that no one asks further questions. Then he opens the window and wishes me luck.

I climb out the window and the first thing I notice is the darkness of the city and the brightness of the stars. Then, with my medic’s kit in one hand, I sneak from shadow to shadow unnoticed across the town until I make it back down to the river by dawn. The river is barricaded with barbed wire and armed soldiers in towers. I can see the DMZ on the other side. I walk confidently along the river walk with my medic’s kit and volunteer papers and no one stops me, but I notice that there is no way that I can get across the barricade. Eventually I come to a set of subway stairs, and because there is nowhere else to go without turning around and heading conspicuously back the way I came, I descend into the subway.

I wander around lost, constantly on the move so as to not draw attention to myself, but before long I realize that I’m never going to leave. It’s ridiculous even to try. I’m going to spend the rest of my life stuck in North Korea, and because I don’t have the courage or the wits to join a resistance group and defy the government like the good-looking son of my house-arrest family, I’ll probably end my life as a prisoner. I'm not resilient enough to spend a lifetime in wandering and hiding. I sit down and cry, full of despair and still shocked by how quickly an entire life can be destroyed.

    10. A School Adventure; Monkey Man

      by , 12-27-2012 at 05:02 PM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      A School Adventure

I was in a study hall I think. It wasn't exactly a class in any case. An authority figure, a woman, showed me and someone else a picture of space. It showed Earth and several other planets very close to each other. Each planet was inside of a bubble that depicted a danger zone for each planet.

Some planets were in large bubbles. This meant more danger. These planets were bunched up. These large bubbles intersected the other planets bubbles; furthermore, they indicated that they were in danger of meteors hitting them.

At this point, the person I was curled up in a spherical gel bed. He went on saying how he wasn't going to sit there and just let something bad happen. I thought his bed was a pretty good idea. It could prevent small meteorites from hitting you and killing you. I thought I might lie next to the bed for cover from one side, though I realized I could still be hit from another side.

      Dream Skip

I then had an assignment from a teacher. It was to read a book and do a report on the main character--a historical figure.

I took the book and was about to study, but I asked a girl I was with to suck me for just one second. She did and I liked it. Sure, it was a stupid short blow, but IWL I subscribe to the theory that it's better to enjoy the shortest time than to not have any time at all.

I then started trying to do my report. I had a false memory that I had read the book before, but didn't remember any of it. I tried to begin reading and picking out important facts, but because I was actually dreaming, I had trouble being productive.

      The End

      Monkey Man

There was a man up on a house roof. He had a baseball. He didn't speak. He was like a monkey or something, though not as agile.

I asked him if I could have the ball. I thought he might get scared, but he didn't. He gave me the ball. I was so grateful that I went to find something he might like. I found a blue ball. It was like a racket-ball ball but it had parts cut out of it so you could stick your fingers through the ball.

I said, "Here, take this" or something, and threw it up to him. I didn't want to throw it at him, so I threw it to his side. He took a step or two and got it. I was happy he got it.
    11. Epic Yugioh/Pokemon battle

      by , 12-27-2012 at 04:37 PM
so this was on 12/27/2012. Just started Djing and made a new account :P I could only remember this one in bits and my dream recall has been really hazy for a while.

In the dream i got a bunch of yugioh cards which were older like from 2004 or something. I went around in my different dreams jokingly challenging people around me to yugioh or pokemon battles. I think i was in school.
I tried playing some private servers and at one point i was using expensive gear in a pvp area that looked like distorted version of falador and two rangers were teaming on me so i ran into a bank.
I also got a view of Alex B. playing some kinda shooter game, it was wierd because it felt like i was part of the screen or maybe part of the game but just watching.
At school i was in Mr.Jackson's class and i saw my name, my little brothers and Tyler R.'s name on some sort of ranking system. My name and my little brother's name were distorted or looked a little wierd or something.
I go to school late and i catch a glimpse of Mr. Forsythe at a place that kinda looked like the library except it was reversed. I then meet up with Ben D., Brad, Nick and David from our comp sci class. I challenge David? to a pokemon battle and he accepts and chooses a dragon type Pokemon(which i never get to see lmao) I decide since dragon is weak to ice i will choose a Pokemon with ice fang. I decide that a bunch of elephants which are randomly on the floor at this point(also very small for elephants shorter than me) probably have ice fang because of their teeth. While going around them i can see their stats somehow and the strongest ones all have the same stats of 189 or something like that. So i choose one, but i become scared to pick it because of its tusks. My friend Stevan k.( or maybe its Stephan can never tell with those serbs). helps me pick it and suddenly me and David are at opposite sides of the room. We throw these blue spear like figures at each other and basically ignore the elephant and the supposed dragon type Pokemon David picked. I fake aiming at my elpehant but just throw the blue thingy at David. We never hit each other because were somehow became pro dodgers. I then woke up.

    12. The Injury at the Water Park

      by , 12-27-2012 at 04:27 PM
12-01-2012 -- I'm running across town with Rosemary, Cheryl, and the kids, heading for Wet 'n Wild or some such place. It is the end of November or the beginning of December, and at one point we are even running through snow, but we're all in bathing suits. We're carrying a Slip 'n Slide of all things, planning to ride it down the slides to make them slide better, except eventually the kids forget about it, so I have to wrap it up and half-carry, half-drag it.

The water park is one that is very close to what I've been dreaming about the last few years, not like the ones I dreamed about decades ago, and I think it is a Disney water park, though perhaps not based on a real one. Cheryl has gotten quite a bit ahead of us, the kids are more or less with me, and Rosemary has fallen behind as we reach the place. Cheryl has already run through and paid, and we come running up, explaining we're with her. There's no problem with the kids, but me they aren't sure of. Before it can become a problem, however, the guy questioning me has disappeared, and we're inside.

We have to pass the main pool area to reach the locker areas, and the beginnings of the paths up to the water slides. There is no firm division between the male and female portions of the locker rooms, so people are just changing everywhere, and I am a little shy, but am trying to look without looking at some attractive ladies, but it doesn't yet register that this is dream stuff.

I'm heading up through the almost empty lines because we're so close to winter, until I come to the lowest of the water slides. This thing only seems to have a single loop to the slide before it drops into the water ... and when I try to ride it, the dream even skips most of that, and just drops me into the pool at the end, but it is still fun. I go up again, and slide back down again, and in the dream I am having fun, but looking back, it wasn't all that special.

At one point the slides are turning more into a log ride, and I am riding it without one of the logs, as usual. There also seems to be some guy threatening me, but I am trying to ignore him. Soon things are turning back into regular water slides.

There is some lightening and thunder, and some rain that is getting heavier and heavier, and rumors of possible flooding. I'm surprised the place is still open. Cheryl is in front of me in the lines, and disappears into the crowds, but them comes back for me. "Come on, come on," she's calling out, urging one of the kids to catch up to her, just before one of the sets of switch-backs in the lines. The kid cuts through a narrow area between the wall and the lines, but I look at it, and there is no way I'm going to have a chance to fit.

Finally I decide to give up on it, and just turn around to exit the line, but the crowds keep growing, and now I am having to kind of push my way through them even to get out. I make my way back to the locker room, and it is still sort of combined. I am glancing around to see if I can see anything nice, but I can't. Too bad, I'm thinking to myself. If I could see a little female nudity here, I would know I'm dreaming. [Conveniently forgetting the nudity I saw earlier, passing through.]

Turns out somebody got hurt, so the line quit going forward, which is why it is now backing up so quickly. There are sirens, and the paramedics are coming through with stretchers, trying to reach the person who got hurt. They push their way deeper and deeper through the crowds. Meanwhile, I am on the outermost portion of the line, and I find myself standing by a stretcher, watching it for them. The crowds are so thick, the paramedics end up passing the girl through the air over people's heads, with the crowds helping out. It seems to be a bit of a cross between Amy F. from high school, and somebody in a badly sewn Catwoman costume.

I help to position her on the stretcher, and start to move her out, figuring the paramedics will catch up with us soon, but somehow I accidentally drop her on a weird sort of elevator going back up into the ride. Darn! I wait, knowing somebody will bring her back out again, soon. There are people that I actually know in the line ... Bud DeVries from Cadets, and a couple of people from high school (including a person who was a punk in the past, but has since apologized for it, who I am being kind of snotty to).

The girl is being passed back my way, and by this point is a completely random dream character. Somehow I have now come to realize I am dreaming, so I am planning to heal the girl with a touch, and then have a little bit of naughty dream fun with her. But as she is passed nearer and nearer to me, she slowly disappears. "No big deal," I think. "I'll just find another girl to have some fun with."

I'm just starting to look for one when I run into Kevin. Unlike usual, I am actually thinking it is a good thing that his brother Dale isn't around, because I know he wouldn't approve of what I have planned. I glance up at the boat I am leaning against, and darn it, there is Dale, dressed in Runescape-like fishing gear, and fishing from the boat. I'm really disappointed because he is really straight-laced, and won't approve of me having the kind of fun I'm thinking of, even in a dream!
    13. Warfare at the Park, the Stakeout, and Singing with Mark and Luralee

      by , 12-27-2012 at 03:51 PM
12-26-2012 -- [This one is interesting to me mostly because of just how much it is all over the place. It goes anywhere and everywhere ... heck of a lot of different scenes for one little dream. Unfortunately as so often, the first part is mostly gone.]

Starts out with a combination of military stuff and Harry Potter bits. I am Harry Potter, fighting off Voldemort with the help of the military. There are bits of military police, chases, guns, and faking my death, while trying to gather weapons to aid with the fighting. Lots of chasing, and some long, neat scenes that are almost entirely gone, unfortunately. And all taking part in what is turning into Boisseranc Park.

Soon I find we are exiting the park on the center road [in real life, there is only one road into the park, on the 'west' side of the property, but the road we're on is one that doesn't exist about midway between the real road and the handball courts.] As we're exiting, we have to pass through a security check point, and I am hoping the guns we have on our persons are hidden well enough to not trigger all the alarms and things. But we go through without problems.

We're in mom's green car [mom never had a green car, nor have I], just about to pass a building and turn out on the road, and mom points it out and mentions that it is Fred and George's new building, and I just lose it. For the last ten days she has pointed this out each time we drive by it [never mind this is the first time I've dreamed this] and I'm tired of it, so I get really insulting and snippy. Really obnoxious, and I feel kind of bad about it even in the dream.

Soon we're in Smith's Food King, doing some shopping, and after how I blew up, I'm afraid to try and add anything to the shopping cart because I think she is still angry at me ... but I can't resist it when I come across a couple of packages of Sanderson Farms chickens wings at .49 cents a pound, and a BOGO deal. Somebody else is commenting on it to me in an insulting way, but I just tell them it is a really good deal, and I am jumping on it!

Soon I am somewhere, probably in Florida, cooking up the wings, and there is no mom here, anymore. I am now an adult, and mom has turned into an attractive young lady who is either a partner or girlfriend. I am deep frying the wings in a fryer, and our boss comes by and is making a lot of comments about not over-cooking the chicken, so I cook it a lot less than I normally would. When I take them out of the fryer, the gal with me carries them over to our bosses car, which seems to be on a stakeout. We soon see them cooking the wings in the car, and griping about their joke backfiring. It seems they told us to cook them less as a joke, not realizing we were going to give the wings to them.

Soon we're walking along a chain-link fence, talking about the national economy, job market, politics, and how it all affects local crime, as I find myself approaching a kind of strip mall with a lot of storefronts in it, and a slight curve to the property. I am walking toward one that seems to be a Doctors office on the side, almost at closing time. There seem to be three other people walking up at the same time, and I am hoping that isn't going to mean I need to wait forever.

Thankfully the wait isn't too long, and I soon find myself buying either some real estate, or a cell phone, I'm not really sure which. They have a long contract which I am going through and reading, and there are several lines where I need to sign, some where I need to initial, and some where I need to enter in a property address or cellular number or something. But I am being given the contract and am supposed to take it home to fill in the last bit, before turning it in.

Soon I find myself at a cross between a restaurant and a nightclub being taught to sing by Mark and Luralee, in a setting that is slightly Karaoke-like, but really more profession. They are singing parts of songs, and expecting me to take over for other parts, and when I reach just the right point, I am belting out the last few lines as well, and as powerfully as Luralee used to do at Preston's. I am amazed, and figure I must have gotten over my voice problem! [Actually, I don't think Luralee sang that one. I think that one was one that Claudia did, later.]

      12/26/12

      Bed Time: 12:00 AM
      Waking Time: 6:00 AM

Unfortunately last night my insomnia decided to rear its ugly face. Pity because I was going quite a long time without it. Even though I went to bed at 12:00 I was tossing and turning for quite a while afterwards. When I woke up at 6:00 I was dead tired, and couldn't remember any dreams. I decided to fall back asleep and see what happens.

      Nap: ~6:15
      Waking Time: ~7:45

I have vague recall of this dream, mainly a fragment.
Fragment #1: I walk with my friend J into his apartment (it is not his actual apartment, but it is in the same complex). The room we enter is scattered and unorganized. Papers of all sorts (mail, magazines, newspaper, ect.) cover the floor, and the whitewashed walls are dimly lit by a small yellow hanging light. There's a small glass table topped with littered ashtrays and we both sit down. He pulls out a bag of meth from his pocket, and I guess today I'm feeling rather ballsy because I tell him we should smoke it.

I find doing drugs in dreams very, very unusual. The effects of the drugs are unlike their real-life counterparts, and they are obviously much shorter-acting (being that one has a limited time in a dream).

After taking an acrid, sulfurous hit from a small, glass pipe, I feel a tingling sensation lurch my body over like a strong, ocean wave. We both stop moving or talking for a minute, taking hits from the pipe, just staring at eachother. I say "Wow", over and over again, the only thing I guess I can say. Suddenly there is a commotion outside, and as we go out to investigate my recall starts to fade.

The dream does not end however, I have strange curios of memory left from what happened after we exited the apartment. I have an image of walking downstairs, entering someone else's apartment, and meeting someone with a very large, developed beard. I remember jumping out of his window for some reason. Hmm, who knows, wish I had better recall under fatigue.

Well that's that, this dream wasn't what I would call a lucid dream. In my lucid dreams I generally try to exercise some of my stored up magickas rather than doing boring stuff I could do in real life , in my next dream I want to end up on a Pacific Island, and perform a ritual with the natives there, I feel that would be fun and exciting. Until next time

    15. Sears at Closing and Babylon 5 Construction in Mall Parking Lot

      by , 12-27-2012 at 03:13 PM
12-27-2012 -- [This goes back to some old dreams from growing up. Had hundreds of dreams like this, but almost never anymore. But I did this morning!]

First bit I can remember (might not even be same dream) I am at a repair shop where they have been looking at my scooter. I have already paid $170 in advance, and am worried about how much more I might need, because I'm out of work and really don't have any money. Thankfully, the guy has finished all repairs, and was easier than he though, and he gives me $70 of my money back! Yeah!

Soon I am a teen or even a little kid, downstairs at Sears in the Buena Park Mall. This is in the old days, before construction and things, back when the candy counter was downstairs. I am in the portion of the store where both the escalators and a stairway came down, near the pay phones and perhaps restrooms (can't remember the layout as well after so much time). There was more to this early part than I can remember, but I think I was here playing video games with Nick. (Full size machines, not the Atari games.)

At some point, I went up to the ground floor (the other floor at Sears was a lower level), and then was thinking of going back downstairs to meet my friend again. Problem is, I am standing at the escalators, ready to head down, but they've blocked off the down escalator. There are a couple of people running down the up escalator, but with my bad leg, I don't think I'd have much luck doing that, anymore. But I really want to get down there again.

Suddenly I remember the staircase also going down that is just around the corner, so I walk over to it and use it. I get halfway down, and I reach a section of the stairway that is damaged, and much more difficult to cross, but I manage without too much trouble. As I get down to the lower level, I find myself looking at a low planter of sorts (only about two bricks tall) with very light brush / landscaping in it, and among the landscaping, balloons, balloon hats, and perhaps my shows and socks (which for a moment may also be made of balloons.) I start gathering my stuff together, and I have got one shoe and put it on.

I find a basic helmet hat I had made, and somehow Nick had either made or found a cool shark balloon that he had somehow merged with the helmet hat to make a cool, more advanced version of Mark Byrne's shark hat. I am still trying to find my other shoe, and deciding I don't really have any need for any of the other balloons right now. I hear voices coming down the escalator, and find there was nothing wrong with the down escalator, they had just blocked it off because it was near closing, and they didn't want anymore people going downstairs.

It turns out it is store security on the escalator, and they are griping and complaining about having to clear out the store, and troublesome customers and the like. Very soon they are pressuring me to leave. I explain I am gathering my stuff (my current gray towel as well as shoes and socks), and I am still waiting for a friend, but it is changing from Nick to Rosemary [my current real life landlord] and some of her family. But they are pressuring me, so I take the escalator upstairs again. When I get upstairs, half the lights are off, so its kind of dim, and obviously the store has already closed.

I approach the northeast corner of the store (my northeast, since my sense of direction was off, due to a bad compass, the entire time I lived in Buena Park) and though I am not being pushed out the door right this second (the store security is still clearing the lower level) I exit a set of doors right by the corner, but facing Stanton, and find it is twilight outside, and it is snowing. I am pretty sure it is about 9 pm, and Sunday, and most of the mall closed hours ago, and Sears at least an hour ago. [In the summer it would be possible it could still be twilight at 9 pm, but in the winter it would have been pitch black.]

I thought Rosemary was right behind me, but she doesn't come out for a while. I look around for a bit, and eventually go looking for her car in the parking lot, a green Dodge Dart-type vehicle (think Chris V.) but a convertible with the roof down. I manage to find the car, and Rosemary's cell phone in it. I grab the cell phone, and with still no sign of Rosemary, start walking back to the doors I exited from.

Oddly I find the same set of doors unlocked, so I pull one open and walk back in, planning to head back to the escalators, but I hear people coming, and find I'm being yelled at by both security and store management, so I head out the doors again hoping that I didn't get myself in big trouble, didn't trigger an alarm, and thinking to myself that if they don't lock the doors they can't really blame me for coming back in.

The store just has too many doors, and I have no way of knowing for sure where Rosemary will come out [the building had three sides facing the parking lot, as well as one side leading into the mall, and I think each side had three sets of four doors, so that's a lot of exits], so as I worry of missing her, I think of calling her on the cell phone I took out of her car. The problem is, it is a fancy advertising model, oddly shaped, and styled with the Mountain Dew logo on it. Both the talk and the off buttons are hidden within the logo and hard to find. Further, I realize I don't know her phone number, and I can't find it in the phone's contact list, because she doesn't call herself much. [My mind never thinks of the fact that she can't answer if I am calling her on her phone, anyway.]

I give up on the phone, but about that time I spot her, walking through the parking lot, almost at the car. I think she has two kids with her, and I am guessing one of them is Lexi, though she looks thinner than she is now. But I am realizing if I am a young kid, she probably hasn't been born yet, and it is probably Cheryl instead. I don't want to miss my ride, so I start hurrying out toward the car, but Rosemary has already got it started up. She is heading toward me, approaching one of the little traffic lanes in the parking lot, but before I can reach her, she starts to turn.

Because I am a kid, I haven't met her yet, and so she doesn't recognize me or pay any attention when I call out to her. I wave at her, and she just waves back. I try and call out I have something for her, and reach into my jacket pocket to bring out her cell phone, but the male kid in the car (probably Jeffrey) cries out "He's going for a gun," and Rosemary floors it and is gone. Guess I can't get her cell phone back to her. I call after her, but it does no good. Guess I have to walk home.

So I slowly start walking along the side of the mall, heading for the May Company end, when I find myself being forced by traffic out to La Palma on an odd curving exit that didn't exist in the real mall parking lot. I also find myself turning into Lennier from Babylon 5, but a quite young Lennier, probably a mid-teen. The traffic is too heavy for me to find a way to cross, and there is the slightest hint of the Circus, like when Circus Vargas would use the parking lot.

Suddenly I find myself confronted by Michael Garibaldi, and we are in the bowels of Babylon 5, which is being constructed in the Buena Park Mall, and Garibaldi wants to know what I am doing here! Me, I'm just a Minbari wandering the mall parking lot, walking home in a small Earth community in the 1980s. No wonder he didn't believe me! He's being kind of threatening, when suddenly big parts of the structure around us seem to almost be collapsing down on us, with razor-like metal claws slicing out of the metal inches from our heads.

We're dodging around, trying to keep both our heads while Garibaldi is screaming something like "They promised me this had been taken care of!" and as things finally seem to be settling, and I have survived intact, I glance at a couple of sets of claws, and kind of flip them further forward, where they lock in place, and secure the beams they are parts of. As I have done this, more and more of the claws are kind of clicking into place, and it begins to seem the entire problem with things collapsing is they never locked these things in place.

We soon find ourselves in a mall-style utility corridor, but in the station, not in the mall, and we're walking to Garibaldi's office, past a couple of Londo's Centauri dancers. Somehow I say something kind of flirty to them, and wildly out of character for a Minbari, and dead silence falls for a few seconds, giving the scene a chance to finish, and finally everybody (including me) breaks into hearty laughter. The others are thinking it is just odd enough that it might be left in the episode, and I am thinking to myself that this acting gig is kind of neat, even if I am a teen again, and I might want to do it as a career.

But moments later, it is back to a real space station being built in the parking lot, and Garibaldi is escorting me out a door back to said parking lot. As we step out, though, I hear the 'dut dut dut dut dut dut dut dut' sound of bionic power being shown, and Sasquatch from the Six Million Dollar Man goes running past. Lou Ferrigno's Incredible Hulk falls out of the sky like he is completing some 100 meter jump, and the two start fighting on the back of a flatbed truck. Garibaldi thumps the back of the truck as a signal to the driver, and he starts to drive off with the behemoths still fighting on the back.
