Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

This was my second lucid, it was short, but MUCH longer than the last. It lasted about 15-20 seconds and my first lasted only about 8 seconds .

I was in a house, similar to my aunt's house, but it felt abandoned and a little broken. I suddenly had the urge to perform a reality check, and so I did. I looked at my hands and my fingers were all crooked and deformed. I quickly became lucid and rubbed my hands together to keep the dream from slipping away and then looked around a bit. I then felt as if I needed to find my dream guide, so I shouted "Dream guide, are you there?" but there was no response. I even felt a little scared incase something jumped out and me, I was so paranoid, I forgot to stabelise the dream and it slipped away from me.

That is all for this dream, it was a good experience but I wish I could have done more. I have no idea why I decided to find a dream guide, maybe for advice?

Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

So before I start, I just want to say that this has been my best night for 2 reasons. I recalled 4 dreams and one of them was lucid. The 4 dreams were very vivid .

I was walking through a grassy plain, like on final fantasy 10/10-2. It looked exactly like the calm lands from the games. One one my favourite places to dream about. While walking through this plain, I found a canyon type part and went through it. At the end of the canyon was a rock covered in ice, and a red pattern in the middle. I stepped on the rock and was transported over to another rock with a blue circle in the middle, this rock was orange like fire. I carried on walking through the other side of the plain, after teleporting and saw some people shooting at me in the upper hills with a base built on it. I hid down by a rock and surpsringly a dragon from skyrim flew over the base and attacked me. MY character on skyrim uses fire magic, and so I started using firebolt to attack it. The dragon was much stronger than me so I ran back to the fire rock and teleported back to the ice rock. I then regained my breath and went back to the fire rock, I saw the dragon and the people fighting at the base. The dragon continued to attack me, so I ran yet again back to the fire rock and teleported. I then went back to the base but this time, I almost killed the dragon. The dragon flew at a high speed towards me and then another dragon flew over the mountain, so I ran away, but not to the rocks. Instead I went south rather than west and found a good place to hide. There were some big rocks to hide behind on a small hill. I then saw a 3rd dragon in tha area then the dream started to fade.

This dream was vivid but not too long compared to another I had that night. Very fun indeed :3.

I'm going up through a hill. I enter in a place that looks like a university with a lot of people going in and out of it.
I see that it was not the way I wanted to go and go outside of the university to continue going up.
When I was in almost the top of the mountain I met a guy with orange clothes (like a postsman) and talk to him:
_You here again ?
_I think so. - He said while continuing his path.
After that I realized that I had 2 dreams before in that same hill and saw that same guy before, I was lucid now.

The dream started to fade out and I remembered to stabilize.
I started rubbing my hands and got on my knees to touch the ground with my hands. I said "Stabilize!" 2 times.
The dream stabilized and I could feel the ground beneath my knees, the wind touching my skin and the gravity of earth pulling my down.
When I got up a mucic started to play and the dream faded very suddenly :/

I woke up in my bed about 00:30 am with my cellphone ringing and answered it cause my brother was sleeping next to me. When I say "Hello" I woke up for real :O

DJ Log: May 25, 2012 – 6:30AM (USA Eastern)

I am walking through a bicycle junkyard, looking for a different set of handlebars for my bike. I sit on a couple different bikes to check out the handlebars and the last bike I sit on turns into a flying bike. I fly over the junkyard while looking around, then wake up

Of course, flying around on a bicycle is perfectly normal, so I certainly would not become lucid.

I am chatting on IRC with several DV members when OpheliaBlue logs in and types something. The text is not visible, nor is it black on black because highlighting reveals no text. Just as I am typing her a message to let her know, my phone rings. I answer and it's OpheliaBlue on the other end of the line. She speaks what she is typing although there is no visible text in the IRC window.

I dreamed there was a rattlesnake wrapped around my leg. My mother walked by and didn't even much seem to care that she may get bit.

The snake was completely agitated and shaking, ready to strike. It jabbed someone with it's head--basically striking, but it didn't bite. This happened to my daughter with a 3 foot King snake once. Don't count on that action from a rattler.

I saw the snake around my leg and was nervous, but I realized it wanted the stability and warmth of my leg. It didn't see me as a threat.

Then there was a wire cage type thing with another snake in it. I was putting the cage over the rattler. The rattler saw the snake above him in the cage and started to slither up to eat the little snake in the cage.

I realized what was happening and moved the cage away.
I then saw a couple frogs. It was going to eat a frog and I felt bad for the frogs.

I was at a hair salon with my little sister, watching her get a perm, well her hair dyed..i don't know she had her hair cut short and the lady at the salon gave her horse paddle brushes to brush this black stuff in her hair, and it made he look like she had a mini afro going on, in the corner sat an large woman under a dryer reading a magazine, but i know i was mad at her because she didn't get up and do my hair, but my sister asked me if i wanted mine done, and I said sure, she said it's only 25.00 and we started looking at necklaces with dates on them, and i remember she bought a 1981 something, but i was playing with the date in my dream, I could feel it in my fingers, and but she handed me a horse brush, and i started combing in the black slime, but my hair was a funky reddish color with yellowish like dragon scales on my scalp, but then an old woman came in and turned out all the lights and went to the fridge and started pulling out stuffed animals piling them on the floor, and the workers started eating them...the stuffed animals, I know there was another one beginning but i woke up, and i don't remember anything before i heard my husband rooting for socks at 630 am this morning, or anything before my son woke me up at 3 am looking for his cell phone

First

I'm in a library, at the magazines section. On of the clerks there suggests that I'm not wanted there. I say that unless they wish to throw me out I will come there every now and then to check out new articles in a couple of science magazines. The clerk apparently cannot do anything. I check the articles and look for the exit. There is a small tunnel, meant for kids. On the other side of the room I find a door and then stairs leading down.

Second

I find myself in a large hall, surrounded by what seem like doors to hotel rooms, numbered, on two floors. It's a dormitory, all the guests are about my age, students. My wife is there and she is changing rooms with someone. Many people are changing, because one is leaving and they all want a slightly better room.

I go to my room. There are ants on the floor, they form a path that leads to my bed. There must be something sweet on the bed, although I don't remember leaving anything there. I kick the bed a little to scare them. They start running away very quickly, and they are carrying something. I look more closely and it looks like pieces of a nest, with huge eggs, about half the size of a chicken egg. Apparently they thought the warmth under the blanket would be a good place for a nest. Some of the ants are still panicking around the bed, and there are some pieces of the nest left. I expect them to move, so I don't touch anything yet.

Third

There is some even going on, that we are all attending. It's about an art, maybe writing, possibly painting. There is a practice session going on, but I leave early to go to a diner before it closes. I get back the session ends.

I dreamt i got a pair of skates, USD Thrones. These skates had massive secret compartments that had a spair pair of everything inside, skins, antirockers (although the skinds were from valo skates) and they also held these strange blade like tools that i have never seen before, i presumed they were for scraping the burnt on black wax stuff i get on you get from grinding ledges. It was still a blade though, one of my DS's. Ealier on in the dream i was skating a strang skatepark. i did a HUGE 720 of a wedge, achieving impoosible distance.
i also tried to skate the vert ramp there, it seemed find from the bottom but when a stood on it and skated it, its dimensions seems to warp and bend, the walls turned longer and the transition steep and sharp. the flat bottom was also rippled and waved. i bailed obviosly but was unhurt.
The dream ended shortly after.

Started with the house on Potter we were going to buy. There were renovations and all the flooring was wet, felt like walking through a swamp. So I went outside and I was suddenly walking down a road where I grew up. It is the middle of the night and I notice that I am topless. That triggers me to go Lucid. That is always a moment of elation and almost immediate flight. Flying fast through the night sky up above the trees. For a second I think about keep going into space or the moon again. But it was scary and isolating last time so I decide to conjure J. My flight starts to descend on a modern house I have never seen before. I go right through the window. I see the reflection of J in a mirror in the hallway. J is sitting at a dining table waiting for me. I'm greeted warmly. I'm there long enough to savor the moment and then its gone.

No longer lucid and back in the Potter house. There is a giant map of Earth on the wall. In the middle of the map is a giant whale. I go to look closer and someone had cut all around the whale. I thought about placing cork board in the cut out. The floor is still wet.

DJ Log: May 24, 2012 – 7:30AM (USA Eastern)

I am walking down a mall corridor with a cute dark-haired guy, looking for a good place to make out. He stops and gives me a quick kiss, then we walk into a store which looks like it's closed. The lights are dim and there are several hot tubs full of yucky water. In the back of the store, there is a steam sauna. The guy dips his arm into the water in one of the tubs, then tells me that the water is burning his arm. I turn on a faucet and rinse off his arm, then we walk out into the mall corridor again.

DJ Log: February 27, 2012 – 7:00AM (USA Eastern)

Walking around inside a motor home, checking things out. Someone is in the shower and I can smell and feel the steam from the shower. Shortly afterward, someone gets in the driver seat and starts adjusting the suspension levelers. The motor home nearly tips over, then I get in the seat and set them properly.

Speaking at a summit on innovation in schools and teaching in Newark, New Jersey, last May, Mr Zuckerberg said that the current age limit would be challenged “at some point”.

Claire Perry, Conservative MP for Devizes, who has campaigned for online safety, said at the time that she “would be very uncomfortable about extending this and I think it’s very, very irresponsible of Facebook to be suggesting it”.

“With close parental supervision all of these social networking sites can be interesting and enjoyable. But I know from my own experience it is all too easy for a young child to get involved in situations that I think are really uncomfortable,” she said.

Facebook’s usual 13-and over age limit elsewhere is dictated by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which became Federal Law in America in 1998. However, current UK legislation does not preclude Facebook from being used by under-13s - but the site’s own terms and conditions do. The US is currently reviewing its COPPA legislation. In Spain, only those children 14-and-over are permitted to use Facebook because of national legislation.

Mr Zuckerberg claimed last year that the educational benefits of using Facebook were so great that children should be allowed to use the site. The site currently closes the accounts of 20,000 underage users per day.

So I haven't posted in my DJ in aaaaaaaages for two reasons:

1. During my most successful ever fortnight of lucid dreaming, the whole DreamViews hack incident happened and, after spending nigh on 3 hours posting all my cool dreams, I realised that the site was fake and I'd spent all that time for nothing.
2. School got really intense the last couple of months and I've only just finished and have some time to get back in touch.

Mainly reason 1, though. I plan to get back around to posting those dreams that were lost, because some of them were truly spectacular.

But for now, to wet my feet again...

I had a series of vouchers for a shopping spree. They were ridiculously good savings like "50% off" and "everything for $125"
Somehow they became related to a competition where you had to find a Golden Ticket, a la Willy Wonka.
I was in a petrol station and saw a chocolate and thought "I'll kick myself if it's in there and I don't buy it, besides, it's only a couple of bucks" so I picked it up and lo and behold, there was a Golden Ticket! Hoorah!

So the competition became that we had to use these vouchers in a set time limit in this famous guy's store. I don't remember the name, but it seemed to be quite an important aspect; like I should set it up in real life or something like that.

Anyway, the gist of the competition was that we had to convince the people selling stuff to let us use our vouchers. I wanted a telescope, but the girl wouldn't accept my 50% off voucher coz it was $1000, so I offered to pay her the difference. I ended up losing the competition anyway and not getting anything.

It gets a bit blurry there but I soon found myself in a telescope store checking out all the different models. They had really ornate cool ones that looked like old wooden record players and hyper-modern ones as well.
Eventually this lead to me trying to convince David Bowie that he should help me buy a telescope but he was too caught up in his acoustic performance and the fact that he had to keep changing his wigs.

The dream faded there, or shortly after, and the next thing I remember is riding a motorbike on a forest trail away from a helicopter that was shooting at us.


Man! Feels good to get this back on pixels!

I was with a friend B. She had a long, yellow car. Dark hair, but she had freckles on her chest. I saw the sides of her breast coming out of her tank top.

Then I was hugging a girlfriend of hers, I. She also had long, dark hair, but it was died. She was very pretty. We hugged.

It was a very nice dream.
