I was in what seemed to be my childhood bedroom, but it was amazing: stone-carved fountains, a spacious garden, and several aquariums with pets. I walked to the aquariums and saw that my snakes and lizards were alive, but that my cat was sleeping on the mesh screen above their cages. This caused the mesh to seep downwards, crowding the lizards and snakes. I thought to myself how careless I had been in maintaining and feeding my reptiles, and how lucky I was that they were still alive. My mother and I then got into some sort of argument during a social event. My mother, myself, my husband, and several neighbors were all seated and having a conversation, but the tension between my mother and I was obvious. I tried to diffuse the tension and create peace (if not for the sake of my mother and I than for the others present) but to no avail: my mom was thirsty for blood.
I was at a bank with some friends and wanted to exchange some coins for notes and the person behind the counter wanted us to play some dumb game with a stamp that we put on our thumbs to help count how much there is.
As would be my luck, my first lucid is about the most disorganized dream I can remember. However, I've taken my thoughts and arranged them to what I believe is a semi-logical string of logic. Before that I would like to introduce our cast of DCs in this dream. Forrest Gump- A movie I've never seen, but have heard of. Shay- A girl in my class, I really don't like her Emily- Also a girl in my class, but I DO like her Ty- A guy who used to be in my class, but he transferred schools Some kid- A DC of a small kid, he represents no one in reality. I don't remember anything up until the point that I said "I'm DREAMING!?" At that point, I was in the hallways of a highschool. I can't verify whether or not it's my school, but that's not really relevent in this dream. A group of kids, like a HUGE group of kids, were going down the hallway, leaving me behind with the thought that I was dreaming. I saw this and walked to catch up. As I walked I thought, "I can't believe I finally did it! But, if I get too excited I'll wake up. Don't wake up, don't wake up, don't wake up!" And I didn't! Then I thought "I'll just go along with this dream and see how it plays out." Then, we were out of the high school and in a giant wooden jungle gym in a real jungle! There I saw Ty. I said "Ty, long time no see?" He then shook my hand. Beside him was a kid I've never seen before, but Shay and Emily both claimed to know him. Before long, we were out of the jungle gym. Well, I was at least. I ended up at Shay's house with Shay. I've never been to her house in reality, but apparently this was it. I was in her room, with her. Then we heard a voice, which I somehow knew was Forrest Gump's. "So," he said with an evil cackle, "Did you find the vagina in my maze??" "WHAAAAAAT!?!?!" I thought. "No." Shay replied. "Well," Forrest said, "Why don't you check this room?" I quickly left the room, slamming the door behind me to prevent seeing what he was talking about. I then left the house and a scream from Shay sounded as I exited. I ignored it, and proceeded to walk through an apocalyptic town controlled by who I believed was Forrest Gump, but looked like Bayou Billy or Crocadile Dundee. "I've got to stop this...." I thought and the dream ended. So, in an odd way, I did end it I suppose.
I was in a kind of SC2 custom game and was a zealot. I was in a desert type of place, ran into more enemies (zombies?) than I could handle, so my friends came and helped me, but then I ran away using 'Blink' and left them there. I accidentally chatted Rachel in the process, and said something.
I was at my house, which has quite a big 2 level backyard and General O'Neill was there putting on a big white suit, and Teal'c was there too, in the garage. Then some people with automatic weapons came from the neighbor's in big white suits with shields and started shooting. O'Neill and Teal'c ran away, then Teal'c handed O'Neill an M4A1 and said "Wait until night and then kill Apoophis on the automatic setting, just like he did to my family"
Okay, so I had this dream where I was a woman. This isn't a normal thing for me. Anyway, I wasn't just a woman I was Juliette Lewis, I know weird. Anyway, so it is zombie apocolypse, and I am running for my life from these zombies. And at the same time, for some reason I know that I am married and I am concerned for my husbands well being. So, I'm running through the city, I'm alone and being chased by zombies. And then one of them catches me and bites me. This sucks because then I turn into a zombie. But it's cool because I'm kind of a mutant zombie. I for some reason retain my intelligence, but I'm still a zombie. But now I'm being chased by this sherrif and his possey because I'm a zombie. So after I'm shot and stabbed and had the crap kicked out of me by these humans I manage to kill them all. (No brain eating though) After all of this I am still concerned for my husband, and I finally get to our apartment and find him there. I am so happy to see him but he freaks out and starts running from me because I'm a zombie. I'm running after him and explaining that it's still me and I won't hurt him, but he is too scared and he won't stop. So I finally catch him, and I bite his ass. He is crying and asking how I could do this to him. And I explain that it's just so lonely being a zombie and that I need some company. He then turns into a mutant zombie like me, and we live happily ever after in zombie land.
I was at the other high school I go to for ROTC. (It's a military funded and operated program that's one of my electives.) The building was different, but I thought it was the same because it was a dream. A little later after they went over some things, we had to put on these hazmat suits just to walk outside the class room. Once I got mine on I walked outside and we had to go to different areas with our flight. (A flight is what each group is called.) I got separated somehow and ended up elsewhere. I eventually found where the rest were and everyone was sitting down in front of a table with two people sitting down at it explaining things. I think it was safety regulations or something of that nature. One girl at the table looked very familiar for some reason. Then to the right a whole ton of smoke started to engulf the room, I ran through the smoke. Suddenly I woke up. 3rd Dream of 2012
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm visiting Las Vegas. Downtown Las Vegas is made up of multiple levels of shops, restaurants, and casinos, most of them themed to a particular pop-culture franchise, all stacked on top of each other and connected by multiple layers of walkways and stairs, creating a gigantic, multilevel man-made environment. I'm walking through this environment with my mom. I walk away from her briefly to do something on my own [I don't remember what], and I'm worried for a moment that I won't be able to find my way back to where she's sitting. But I come back down the stairs and there she is, sitting on a bench next to a curved railing at the edge of an elevated walkway, waiting for me to come back. When I approach, she gets up, and we continue walking. Then, my mom and I are joined by my sister and a couple of our girlfriends. [They weren't anyone I know in real life, but in the dream, they were our friends.] While we're walking around, my mom says something to the effect of, “I thought all you girls were supposed to go see a shrink!” We just kind of laugh and say, “Yeah, we were.” [I think] We're still planning on going to see one later. My family and I are getting ready to leave somewhere on an airplane. I observe how airplanes operate, by catching drafts of air, and think about how fragile and uncertain this process is. Then I think that it's best not to think about this process too much, since I'm going to have to travel on one very shortly. Then, we're flying on the airplane. It flies past some elevated highways that appear familiar to me. [Different dream, probably in a different cycle.] I'm sitting in a typical high school football stadium, watching the pre-game activities. There is a marching band on the field. One member of the marching band has a large trombone whose bell is filled with clarinets. When he blows into the trombone, the clarinets spray out all over the place. I find myself hunting through the bleachers for my clarinet reeds, which have been thrown all over the place. I pick them up, looking at the numbers printed on the back of each one, looking for the 2 ½ reed. One of them says “5 ½,” another “3 ½.” Eventually, I find the 2 ½ one. The football players are on the field, warming up for the game. One of them throws a practice pass to another, but with a basketball, not a football. I look away from the field, and look down at the program on my lap. It's made of sheets of paper folded in half crosswise, and has lots of text on it. I read it for a few moments, and then something [I don't remember what] makes me stop and think, Either [something that I can't remember now], or this is a dream program. I reach up and pinch my nose shut, and feel that wonderful, paradoxical sensation of being able to breathe through it while doing so. Yes, I'm dreaming. I pinch my nose and breathe through it for a few moments more, to verify and to enjoy the sensation. While doing this, I gaze at the program, not reading it, just looking at it and appreciating the experience of knowing that this thing I'm looking at, as real as it looks, is just a dream image being generated by my mind. When I look up at the field again, I'm surprised to find that the scene has grown mostly dark, as if somebody turned off most of the lights. I know that's because I haven't been paying any attention to the football field for the last couple of minutes, and therefore, it's started to fade away. I'm disappointed, and wish and hope that it will get brighter again, but it doesn't. Then the dream ended. After I had woken up, I remembered that I could have verbally commanded the dream to become clear and bright again, and mentally kicked myself for forgetting about that trick.
I dreamed that I was in a crowd of people in a green, grassy valley. We were just standing around, I didn't know any of them. Everyone except for me looked like something out of medieval Europe. Anyway, there was a floating stick in the middle of the crowd. It was about the length and width of a recorder-flute-thingy. The stick could also talk, and it would ask people in the crowd random trivia questions. If the person was wrong or unable to answer, the stick would touch the person and *POOF*, they would vanish in a puff of colored smoke. The stick went from person to person, asking them questions and poofing them into nothingness. The people in the crowd were getting pretty panicky, but for some reason they didn't run away. Weird. So yeah, it was basically sudden death Jeopardy...with a stick.

1.1.2012Recruitment (DILD) ★★★★☆NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID What a mess. . . Overturned shipping crates and semi-trailers lay strewn about my dishevelled court. Patches of barely-living, pale-green grass permeate the dead, yellow lawns. Every house sits in disrepair, some are even missing, replaced by strange, red statues and rocks. A large, armored eighteen-wheeler pulls into the court. It stops, suddenly. Waiting. Somehow, I understand I need to clear a path for this thing. Sighing at the inconvenience, I use TK to lift the first shipping crate out of the way without difficulty. The truck moves forward, and I use another bit of TK to remove the remaining trailer from the road. Interesting that I can do that so easily, I catch myself thinking, Oh, right. Must be dreaming. With my newfound lucidity, I finally take notice of all the red in this scene, and, to my left, there’s a statue that catches my interest. It’s that little imp fellow from a previous dream, and the statue is located exactly where that school used to be. Disgusted with myself more than anything else, I pull from an FPS archetype, toss some C4 onto it, and hit the detonator, leaving only a smoldering stump of a neck where the statue’s head used to be. Slightly pleased with myself, my mood sours as I’m approached by a weaselly man in a nice grey suit. He starts pestering me with questions and hurried pleasantries; his nasally voice and unplaceable drawl grate at my nerve. I try to walk away, but he follows me as I move towards the old back-woods. ”Tell me,” he insists, struggling to get each word across, “Have you ever experienced. . . recruitment?” The word choice makes me roll my eyes, as I respond with an indignant question: ”You tell me.” Of course, he ignores my inquiry, going on to talk about what a great opportunity this is for me, and other nonsense I try to tune out; I’m not at all interested in playing along. . . Damned sheep. Note: I later learned the two sheep I had heard “baa”-ing behind my house all day long were, in fact, go-karts or something.

NON DREAM DREAM LUCID I have very faint recollection of this dream...meh, that's what I get for waiting so long to type it up somewhere. There is an evil man. Like, really evil. He has a gaggle of what appear to be elementary school students following him around, and they are being taught to do evil deeds. I am not actually there, but I am witnessing this happen from somewhere. The group is in some sort of a museum, maybe? It has an atmosphere that tells me lots of tourists travel here. There is a small model of a bedroom, complete with a window, a bed, and dresser. Oh, and Dumbledore. Yeah. So, Dumbledore was micro. Like, half a foot tall. This evil man with the group of kids was holding a stapler, hovering it threateningly above Dumbledore's head. Dumbledore desperately tries to hide, crouching behind the door. However, he only tries to hide for a second before he comes out with his hands up. "Alright. Do what you will. I won't go out of this world a coward." he says. I don't realize what's happening until this point, and by then it's too late. The evil man lets of a laugh, and staples Dumbledore's head. There's no blood or anything, but everyone knows he's dead. The man continues to staple him anyways, and in the end, there are exactly 17 staples in his body. Everything feels...well, sad. And defeated. Almost like the last hope in this world had just died. Okay, so, as weird as that sounds, it was actually a really sad dream. Like, seriously.
NON DREAM DREAM LUCID First off, I'd just like to say that this is most definitely a catch up entry. I haven't posted any dreams in a long time and I must admit that I'm rather disappointed with myself. I'll try to be more consistent. On a lighter note, I've noticed that lucid dreams are coming more naturally now. I won't even think about lucid dreaming at all, and I'll have a fantastic lucid that night. This never would have happened before...I usually would have had to concentrate and practice awareness and whatnot to give myself anything close to a lucid. I'm in my room, and I'm with two girls from my school named 'E' and 'S'. Apparently they are spending the night, even though we have school the next day. Somewhere along the line, although we didn't even sleep at all, E's alarm goes off, signaling that it's time for us to get up and get ready. I feel rested and relaxed and ready to take on the day, and things just get better when I realize that it's 1:30 in the morning. "This is great," I say, "more time to get ready!" E and S are casually lounging around my room while I walk around and start to gather school things. Suddenly, E, in a very calm voice says, "Oh, it's not the morning. It's 1:30 in the afternoon." This sends me into a fit of rage and I turn on her. "You mean to tell me that right now, I'm missing all of my classes?! This is terrible! I can't believe you guys! Why would you let me sleep in this late?!" I yell. I storm around my room faster now, trying quickly to get all the stuff I need to run out the door and somehow make it to school. Opening my closet, I suddenly become extremely confused...there, sitting on the floor of my closet with her legs curled up to her chest, is my little sister. "Umm...what are you do--OH!" I start to say before I come to the realization that I'm dreaming. I perform a reality check, and sure enough, I'm right. I immediately stop my frantic search for school supplies and turn back around, ignoring my sister. It's dark outside all of a sudden, but I don't care. E and S are gone, too, but I brush that aside, as well. There's someone I need to find. Right, well, just so you know, I fangirl pretty hardcore over a sci-fi TV show called Doctor Who. It's simply the best show on this whole planet. The main character of this show is, well, the Doctor. Okay, now that you have a smidge of background information, you can probably guess that my goal was to find the Doctor. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to travel through all of space and time? So I walk across my room, trying to formulate a plan to find him. Just then, I turn my attention towards my bed, where I see a heap of blankets. It's pretty much what my bed looks like in real life all the time. I think, 'What if I can make a person appear?' I walk over to my bed and poke the blankets rather viciously, shouting "DOCTOR! WAKE UP!" To my surprise, this method of summoning works, and BAM, there he is. I'm pretty happy, but I don't think he is. After all, I did just wake him up in quite a rude way. He sits up, looks around, and says "What?" I get up and sit next to him, extremely happy. Now, at this point, my memory of the dream starts to fade, so links from one event to the next are kinda blurry. Somehow, though, the Doctor and I are both seated across from each other, laughing hysterically about something. He then proceeds to press a button inside his jacket, causing his pinstripe suit to glow green in random spots. Even his eyes glow green. It would have been creepy had he not been waving his hands in the air and going "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO..." I'm pretty sure I wasn't lucid during this part, but I also vaguely remember trying to take a picture with my iPod of the both of us, but he kept shoving me out of the picture and taking up all the space. Apparently, my subconscious' version of him is quite the camera hog. This was definitely an interesting dream. I'm sort of upset I didn't remember more...also, I wish I had taken the time to actually travel through time like I originally wanted to.
Happy New year everyone! I was watching curious George. I was George, apparently. Me and my chaperone walked into a bowling alley in what seemed to be some sort of square or park in an urban town. I was now myself. My chaperone turned into some scruffy convict-looking type wearing black and brown. We were sitting at a table inside of the bowling alley. He was looking at screen, it looked like a GPS on an iPad-like device. I was watching a red pulsing dot on the screen, over his shoulder. It was getting increasingly closer to our location. "Fuckers' trackin' us," My scruffy companion announced. They're tracking us? Seems more like the other way around. "Come on, we might be able to delay 'em." He says. I followed him out the door. It was evening now, and there was a man waiting for us on a long motorbike with some sort of cabin, it was like a cross between a mine cart and a motorcycle. He forced us in, and drove off, with a strange respect for the road laws, even though he looked like a gangster. "Best paying job yet," The driver commented. "CIA paid me six hundred million to get you guys, eh?" Half way to my house, I was transitioned to a van with my family in it. We were still going the same way. One long wait at a light later, we arrived at my house, with a government van behind us. We parked in the driveway, and my eyes rose to the sky, full of stars and still red from sunset. There was something weird about it. There seemed to be a giant planet in it. What planet, I wondered. I examined what I could see out of the windshield. It was earth, I noticed. I could just barely make out Mexico. I considered Earth for a moment. A bit odd, I thought. Is this a dream? No, it cant be... Oh, wit, except it is! I realized, and with the energy of sudden full lucidity, I burst out of the car door and ran around in my family's yard with my brother and father. I came across a mound of dirt that was not there in waking life, under a fully leafed tree, though it was winter. "Anchor dream," I cheered. My father snickered at this. I looked around the yard. Oh, right, I remembered. IOSDP tonight. I thought about Chichen-Itza, but remembered we weren't doing that any more. So I tried to focus my attention on shared dreaming and the IOSDP and whatnot. After 15 seconds of trying, I came to the conclusion that it was to hard and stopped impulsively. I decided to run out into the road and talk to some DCs. It was suddenly morning. I saw several friends from my school roaming the streets. They didn't live here. I met a friend near a tree. "Hey, guess what?" I said. "What?" "I'm in a dream! But not in your head, my own, so it doesn't matter that I'm telling you this!" I laughed. They rolled their eyes. "Anchor dream!" I yelled at them. I then ran off down the road. The dream shifted into me standing in a line of students somewhere in the second level of my school. I was still lucid. I threw the assorted objects I had in my hand aside into assorted machinery, nobody cared but the guy behind me, be cause he was trying to steal some of it. I stood in line for a while until I figured something out. "Oh wait," I said. "Screw this. Anchor dream." I walked out of the line, around some machinery, and into the next room. A teacher had given me papers as I passed, I threw those aside, too. I scattered all over the left side of the next room, which was only storage. I proceeded. This room had three teachers trying to stop me inside. They were maneuvering around a pile of boxes. "Is there somebody you need to see?" One of them asked, still trying to get to me. "Nope," I pushed past them. I now came into a similar, but larger room. It had large windows for me to jump through, but before I could reach them I awoke suddenly, too awake to DEILD, but I felt satisfied.
Thebeastofold's dream Didnt get lucid..so couldnt look for nightspy2 again... It started I was in a huge dining hall type place, and everyone was wearing orange....no matter what kind of clothing everyone was wearing they were all colored orange..and there were people wandering all around the room with giant roasts on huge 2 prong forks....and anyone who wanted some they would hold the roasts over the table and everyone would use their own knives to hack off a hunk.....and i kept thinking of the line from the grinch "roast beast" they were carrying them around as if they weighed nothing...i asked a girl with a giant ham on a fork if she could put it inthe trunk of my car..i even tried handing her the keys..but she laughed and danced away.....i went around a corner to the left and came to a very dark, windy and cold dead end with a desk attached to the wall and a huge window cut out of solid rock.....and scrooge mcduck was sitting at the desk writing with a feather pen furuiously, he had a giant stack of the old fashioned library card file drawers stacked haphazardly on the desk to his left...and there was ominous music playing in the background, and it was very windy..every time the wind would pickup he would flop face down across the desk to keep whatever he was writing on from blowing away...the only time i could clearly see him was when lightning flashed..i look out the window while he was face down on the desk and noticed we were on the top or nearly on the top of a huge sheer cliff..and it looked like a huge winter storm was happening outside....i turned to walk away and woke up...
Well.. I'm not actually in college yet. I'm just a freshman, but that doesn't stop me from have dreams about it now does it!? Anyway, I just remembered one dream. It has been awhile since I made an entry, so that would probably explain why. The dream started in a very odd way. I was placed inside of some sort of virtual reality. I guess it was a video game of sorts, but I can't really be sure. The idea was to collect coins in the world to unlock the next level. I got to the next world and the game turned off. My point of view suddenly ended up being me looking at a television screen running the game. My friend then told me that we had to leave for class. We got our stuff together and walked out the door. This was apparently our first day actually in college, and we were pretty nervous about it. It was cold outside so we had to walk through the inside of the buildings to reach our destination. We passed through this very tiny library and we started talking to each other. Suddenly this old lady comes up to us, and I remember vividly that she said, "You see that light," and she pointed to a light behind her desk that was beaming red. "When it's on you cannot talk. Is it on? I thought so. Now you better not talk, or next time its a mark." We just walked away, and there was a line separating the library from everything else. I put one foot in and screamed as the only lady looked at me and screamed, "Mark!" So we got to class, and I woke up.
