    1. An Expected Journey

      by , 08-28-2014 at 08:29 PM
      Type: Paranoia/Evasion
Perspective: Mixed (initially Self, transforming to Character, male hobbit)

NLD: The dream began with a long complicated plot set in a futuristic world. The antagonist was trying to find me and some other people; I had the codes to some device of his that would frustrate his plans. At this point my dream character was still me, I know this because enemy agents were using my name and even showing around a picture of me. (The prevalence of this "paranoia/conspiracy" theme in dreams is one of the reasons I suspect—pure speculation—that schizophrenia in waking life is a condition related to dreaming.)

Enemy forces had located us, were closing in, we knew we had to run. We decided to split into two groups that would flee separately. I was with a group that was going to go on a very long journey. There was no perceptible shift in the dream or narrative, but by the end of the dream this was all entirely a group of male hobbits, and I, going with them, was also a male hobbit. There was no precise "moment" when the shift took place though, the dream narrative was continuous, and the transformation imperceptible: I was still "me' before the start of the journey then woke up remembering that I was one of the hobbits.

I had anticipated that we would need to flee and already packed a backpack, so while the two group leaders were waiting for the rest of us to prep and join them, I went and grabbed it. I checked inside first to make sure I had the right bag. I saw lots of warm clothes—that was good, I'm always inclined to get cold. I grabbed a few more things from my pile: a fleece jacket, a wide-brimmed hat. I was already wearing a leather pouch around my neck with my ring in it. When I had noticed this earlier I had wondered why my ring was in the bag instead of on my finger; I assumed I had to hide it for some reason. (Source: the dream played out with an increasing LOTR theme, so this could be a nod to the way Frodo carries the One Ring; it could also be day residue, as the other day I had taken off my ring for a long time for some task.)

On the table with the gear I was choosing from was a sort of talisman made of a round disk of leather, as well as a few masks which I grabbed at the last minute—they weighed almost nothing and might come in handy. I considered the options: should I put on a mask before we left? If I needed to conceal my identity from those who would recognize me it could be useful, but if we were trying to pass incognito among people who wouldn't already recognize me, wearing a mask might draw too much attention and be a disadvantage. But better to have the option than not.

I was the third one to gather around the group leader, a male hobbit, and we were waiting on about three others. While we were waiting I went through the masks I had grabbed at the last minute to make a more careful selection, trying them on in a mirror. A couple were cheap plastic full-face masks, and I wasn't sure if they would stand up to the rigors of travel, so I set them aside. I kept one, though, because it gave me a scary monster face and I thought it might be handy if we needed to play a trick and scare someone. I kept a plain black eye mask and another one that was just a single sheet of light brown translucent plastic—it weighed nothing and could serve as sunglasses, I figured. For now, I decided to wear the simple black eye mask. When I put it on, I noticed that I was strapping it over the glasses I was wearing: they had huge round lenses. I didn't remember owning glasses like this, but that was just one of many, many clues that should have alerted me to the fact that I was dreaming—I had not an inkling of it.

When our full group had assembled, the leader then instructed us to get rid of a lot of stuff that he figured we had probably packed. He had a list of very specific things we were supposed to give up, unnecessary objects that he said were a result of "emotional packing." Already on the table were a lot of little boxed games, like dice and tile games (source: Scrabble on Colbert last night). I worried that our long journey would get dull and depressing if we didn't even have a few games with us, but I understood his reasoning—we needed our packs to be as light as possible if we were to outrun our pursuers—so I reluctantly gave up some things as well.

There was one item that I wasn't sure about, so I went to consult the leader. It was a boxed set (I hadn't opened it yet) containing a special kind of saw blade that could function as a lathe, cutting wood into round or shaped dowels. The leader and I opened the box and inspected it. I felt a tool like this might be useful at some point, though I couldn't think of a precise situation in which I would need to lathe a dowel to survive. The only problem was that the tool was made out of solid metal, a complex shaped piece about eight by eight inches, and it was extremely heavy. "It's about as heavy as a two-liter bottle of water," I estimated aloud. This decided it: the leader reasoned that water was more essential, so if the tool cut down on the amount we could carry, it would have to go. I reluctantly left it behind. Later as we began our journey, I thought back and regretted this: I realized that dowel-shaped wood might be very useful in making traps, and moreover that even if we had only brought the tool with us to sell, we could probably get up to 50,000gp for it, because it was an object from our futuristic world that would be completely unique in the fantasy world where we were going.

I realized that we were pushing the limits of the time we had left and needed to leave right away. But as the leader and I stepped out from the room where we'd consulted about the saw blade, something caught my eye. It was a tiny fluffy grey kitten sleeping cozily on its back, lying in the hallway against to the wall on our right. "Wait—just two seconds," I said to the leader, "Look!" And we knelt down and tousled the kitten's belly. I explained, "It reminds me of something Sam said: this is what we're fighting for." I was remembering the line late in LOTR where Frodo is losing heart and Sam reminds him "That there's some good in this world... and it's worth fighting for." Naturally my version involved kittens.

We then rejoin the rest of our group—which was more diverse in the beginning but by this point consisted of the full set of LOTR hobbits plus me as a random male one—and started down a lane. No sooner had we set out then I look behind us and see a group of fierce orcs, at least eight of them, less than fifty yards behind us and moving faster than we are, already closing in. Did we waste too much time with our preparations, losing our head start? I needed to act now, or our journey would be cut off before it began. Fortunately I recalled that I knew Ars Magica magic (all that practice in LDs paying off!)

Twisting to look back while still running at full tilt, I held out my hand and blasted a frost effect at the group of orcs: it created a slippery ice slick on the ground where they were running and also iced their bodies directly, covering them with a pale layer of frost and slowing them considerably. I knew it wouldn't last forever so I was already trying to decide what my next trick should be. A grease trap on the ground might be useful: the lane was narrow and walled on both sides, so they wouldn't be able to bypass it. Then I was trying to remember the mechanics of Ars Magica spells: were they limited by a specific pre-set quantity (like in D&D) or could they be chosen freely but the rate was restricted by a mana pool, or could they cast at will but it was just really hard to succeed at the roll? Around this time the dream must have despaired of my ability to transform even a thrilling adventure chase scene into tedious decision-making and option-weighing, and I woke up.

    2. Somewhere else in late september 2012

by , 07-09-2014 at 03:33 AM (Fantastical Adventures)
      1. Sort of a type of block arena where I punched miis and threw them over a wall.
      2. Narnia-ish. I can only remember the first visit, which involved leaving to use the bathroom.
      3. Nearly submerged into the dream world completely. Goldeneye 007 Wii Map: Docks. I picked up some black weights along with a cat. Moments later, I picked up an MP7, which was somehow connected to the disappearance of the dinner table.
      4. Briefly shapeshifted into a humantaur at a private pool.

      5. A friend was dropping me and a few others off at house "1c".
      6. I was is this expansive cave that was turned into a house. Then, I teleported myself to yellowstone.
      7. Looked west toward the olympic mountains. Considerably dark and cloudy.

    3. GTA/Minecraft dream.

      by , 04-27-2014 at 11:36 AM
This dream is of me playing GTA and minecraft, I don't see myself in the dream, just the game.

So it starts off as a GTA dream, it appears to be a secluded area, there's no one around and it's quite an urban area. But then someone else is in the game, I try to get them to come to the Statue of Liberty with me in the game. I try sending them a message but the person just gets in some sort of plane and flies off and around this island. Then the dream changes, I'm still in the same place, but now I'm playing minecraft, I don't remember much about this dream, but I remember me mining into the wall next to me and I find a mob spawner, but it has every mob in the game in this tiny room. I notice I have no iron left, so I decide to go in a mine so I can get some.
    4. Accepting destiny

      by , 03-07-2014 at 04:58 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
      1. Car keys, red hair dye, playing with my old Gameboy Color accessory, I turned the light off on it after looking through the zoom part.

Inspiration: I put mom’s car keys in her purse, and also saw my sister’s keys. I recently died some of my hair red. No idea why I suddenly dreamed about that old accessory (mine had a top accessory part with a magnifier and light), wow. XD Maybe because one of my palaces is Pokemon Platinum… I only ever played Pokemon back then.

Also, I woke up at 1:36, which is only about 3 hours after I fell asleep. I notice I’m starting to wake around this time for my first awakening, but it's harder for me to remember details later, I need to really work on making better triggers for earlier dreams like this one!

      2. I’m talking to someone about some of my old Japanese translations, and there’s a thick book that’s fallen apart in half towards the back. I look at the page number on the second half, which is 40. I’m discussing with someone the plot of the book and where the fallen off half goes.

      3. In a field-type area, Cronus rides in on a horse. Eridan looks really glad to see him. It had the feeling of Cronus giving in to something after a long time of not doing it. Like Cronus was accepting his part in whatever was happening. Eridan gets up on the horse behind him.
The image of the two was a bit fuzzy, like I couldn’t gasp the features just right.

Inspiration: ‘Cause I’m rereading Homestuck, just read the conversation between Eridan and Rose where she blows up his computer. xD Also, I just left off in the part in my book where a dragon (probably) finally accepts his place in his destiny. Also, there was an army camped in a field talking serious business. And I just remembered that Eridan rides a seahorse...

Notes: I woke up many times last night, omg. I think it was from overexcitement, my brain was too active. I had tantalizing glimpses of at least two more dreams but couldn’t tease the details out. :/

    5. 2/25/14 - casino

by , 02-25-2014 at 09:43 PM (Leaving the matrix)
I'm in this massive hotel/casino. I'm running through hallways and I know the security are walkie talkieing each other trying to find me. I turn a corner and see a security guard far down that hall so I make a turn the other way and find a elevator and the door for it is already open so I sprint in and quickly hits floor button 9. While the elevator goes I think about what floor 9 will be and whether it will be full of security, I hope it to be a casino gaming floor but I remember that floor 2 and lobby were the casino and game floor. When the elevator door opens it turns out it is a casino floor only for big adult business men in fancy suits, so I sneak passed them all to the back because the men are to preoccupied with those electronic table games. I get to the back and see a kid, I ask what she's doping here, she says she's hiding. I stand there and watch her play this electronic ping pong football game thing. The little football players in the table keep trying to catch the orange ping pong ball that the girl keeps hitting at them with a ping pong paddle and the little football guys looks super realistic. I point out to her that she's one a ticket on the side of the table, it's a beige ticket. Then suddenly the table zooms to the football stadium crowd and theirs this woman pissed at the girl and yelling at her to go over there and some how she does and everyone in the table are screaming so I just walk away with the orange ping pong ball farther back to other games. I see these 4 games all next to each other and they all say on it 5 quarters for one hour of play, or 1 hour per 1 quarter from 5 or something confusing as that. The games looked really fun because you could win prizes instead of tickets like all the other ones. I feel in my pocket and I only have 5 quarters, so I decide to walk on, but the last machine of the four starts talking to me telling me wouldn't I like a rubber spider and I was like not really but it through one at me, then it said wouldn't you like a furry pig and I was like kinda, so it threw one at me, and it asked if I wanted these weird hybrid animals and each time before I could answer it was throwing prizes at me and I worried that cameras would see or someone would walk up and see and accuse me of stealing, but then it stopped and I heard someone nearing so I took a backpack off my back and started putting them in my backpack, then a blonde boy with long hair asked me for help and I felt I got caught so I told him I won the pig, but he didn't care about that so I just said sure and followed him. We went around the wall that was behind me while the games was flinging shit at me. It lead to an opening of grass and sky outside I didn't question it. He told me he needed me to sit on the doom chair so he could play the game. I see all these huge games in a row and they need two people, one in it and one playing, like the one where someone sits on the seat above water in a tank while other people throws stuff at a target to knock em in the water, but this one is a electronic quiz game and every time an answer is wrong something happens, and above the seat is a sign with lightning lettering saying "Ah Hell No". So I walk up the ramp to the seat and get ready to strap myself in it, but I ask first what will happen and he says that each time an answer is wrong the seat will go higher and higher, I freak out and run down the ramp yelling ah hell no! And the boy looks at me sad but I don't care. Then some other boy gets in the chair and straps up and they begin the game, and the chair pulls him up high then flips him upside down and I watch shocked that its worse than that dick told me, now the kids just sitting there upside down and each time answer is wrong it whiplashes him up 5 feet and side to side.
    6. plane crash monster

by , 02-02-2014 at 08:34 PM (sparkley guy dream journal)
We were in a plane crash because the pilots disappeared. Anyways, we landed. I'll list the people
      - nerdy smart bald guy
      - classy normal guy
      - white girl
      - black girl
Just the normal survival team. So when we landed the nerdy guy said there was a monster named Z on this island. Then everyone died except me and the guys. Normal guy said "i here something hide" So we hid and i hid by this tree that had like a blanket and that normal guy hid somewhere else. That nerdy guy was still finding a place to hide and then the monster spotted him and went running to him. When the nerdy guy saw he said "I don't want to die, get that person over there" He pointed at me. The monster started walking creepily slowly to me and then I left the game. It was like it was real life but then I left. It was a dream

    7. Dream Tennis

      by , 01-31-2014 at 12:18 AM
I've forgotten completely how I became lucid, but I became lucid at one point and I only remember the following after that, so no point in color-coding.

I'm in my house upstairs with my brother Zach. Once I go lucid, I attempt to recall any dream goal of mine, but struggle with it and eventually give up. Instead, not wanting to waste LD time, I turn to Z (who knows I'm dreaming) and say, "Show me something interesting."

He cooperates and leads me outside. Like my house, the street looks much like it would in waking life, but the sunlight was extremely bright, the grass a vivid bright green, and there just seemed like there was an aura of happiness resting over the dreamworld. I smile, taking in this sight for a moment, and then Zach jumps and takes flight from the ground. I follow him up, and the moment I'm in the air, I notice the area past my street is much different than it should've been. He began flying away in a straight direction and I follow him, looking around at the massive town as I did so. It was completely and utterly random at this point--colorful structures and tall skyscrapers stuck up in every direction, with the woods bordering everything around. My interests are piqued as I wonder what Zach's going to show me.

Eventually we float back down to the ground, in which he leads me into a small, square, basic dark building. Inside the ground is all carpet, the lights are dim, and people are chit-chatting in every direction. It was very dark, but the atmosphere was very welcoming, much like a bar or a small party.

Zach leads me to the left and the right again into a large room where electronic music played in the background with a couple of bars and something interesting in the center--a small tennis court with maybe 3-4 people on each side. Most of the people looked like older teenagers, say around 15-19. They're playing...tennis, but with a few peculiarities. Firstly, they're playing with their hands (much like volleyball). The ball was mostly transparent, but the clear ball was surrounded with an intricate glowing orange design that left a motion blur behind it in the air and was quite easy to see. There seemed to be no way to take score--players just played until they got bored. The biggest difference to this kind of tennis and IWL tennis was the fact that the physics were very trippy. At the weirdest moments the ball would go in slow-motion, or shoot towards the ceiling, or fly past the players towards the wall.

Zach explained to me, "This is dream tennis. Kind of an interesting sport, I think. Do you want to try it out?"

I nod and grin and Zach and I join one of the teams together, and we play a few rounds. At first I mostly suck (no, really, I blatantly made the ball hit the 2-foot-tall net at one point), and I'm teased by my teammates about this, but I eventually (and proudly) get the hang of it. At one point in the middle of the game I question Zach as to why it's not called dream volleyball since you play with your hands. He only says, "I don't know, I didn't make the rules, I'm only a dream character!"

All in all the game and the dream itself was rather strange yet fun, and I totally wouldn't mind playing dream tennis again in a later LD. Eventually I wake up after a few rounds and I DEILD back to sleep, though the contents of the dream that followed are a bit more... private.

On a side-note, I remember a non-lucid dream fragment from earlier in the night where I was playing one of my favorite MMORPGs called Mabinogi, but that's all I can remember from that.

      by , 01-29-2014 at 09:35 PM
(I know I haven't done any DJ entries like ever, which is why I plan to change that. )

      non-lucid lucid awake/other stuff
backstory: Austin is an 8-year-old DC from a vivid non-lucid I had a couple of years ago, involving a plot of him being traumatized from visiting a wicked haunted house and me trying to help him. I eventually died at the end of the dream (because of said haunted house) and it was partially my fault, so I came up with the goal last week of seeing him in a lucid dream and apologizing, then trying to help him again (you can say I'm really attached to my DCs).

The dream starts off a little strange (you know, like most dreams do). I'm in public school--currently in virtual school IWL and being in public school is a common dreamsign for me that I've managed to miss--with old classmates in the gym. We were in what were like lab desks with 2 people at each desk, and our fairly b**chy reading teacher was in the gym with us for some reason, showing us some sort of sitcom that "I'd seen before" (false memory). Yup, in a school I'm not even in anymore, sitting at desks in gym class, our reading teacher supervising us, watching a sitcom.
      It didn't make much sense.
Like most people I wasn't really paying attention to the show, just talking to others. We were never given questions on the show, so why bother watching? Eventually there's this random skip where I'm in a giant Wal-Mart with Mom, and of course I was obsessing over the candies and ice cream that were there. I don't remember much of this part, only that it was big and huge and grand and wonderful, much unlike a typical Wal-Mart. Anyway, eventually there's another weird skip (maybe the start of a new dream) where it's much later in the day; to be precise, bedtime. I have a schedule in the house for going to bed; I say good night to my friends online, I shut down my computer, Dad gives me my anxiety medication, I say good night to my parents, and then I go to bed.
All goes well until I try to shut down the computer. I'd been playing a rhythm game called "osu!" (been quite addicted to it lately) and even after I had shut down the computer, a demo or replay of the game would keep playing itself against the black monitor. The computer was off, so how could that have happened? This seriously concerns me, so I go into the kitchen to find my tech whiz dad preparing my medicine and explain what's going on.
I expected some sort of logical answer or fix from him or at the very least for him to go check out what's going on, but all I get is, "That's strange."
Annoyed, I stood there trying to think of what could've happened. Why was a computer still running if it had no power? Then
suddenly everything clicked together, and I realized I was dreaming. Dad looked at me the moment I realized--didn't say anything, didn't do anything, just looked at me--as I did a quick RC to make sure I was really dreaming. I thought of what I would do, and remembered my goal instantly, then turned to Dad who had put down my medicine and was still looking at me, and I asked,
"Did you know that you're part of my dream?"
      "Yes I do."
      "Will you help me?"
      "Yes I will."
What do you know, a cooperative DC for once.
I flew out the kitchen window and Dad followed me, but I was immediately unsettled by the darkness of the night. No, really, it was pitch black outside. I didn't like the idea of not being able to see the area, so I decided I would make it daytime. First I tried going back inside and, when looking away from the window, deciding it would be daytime. It didn't work. I realized I had to be more creative with it and--I can't remember if I came up with it or if my dad suggested it--but I decided I would use a lightswitch to light up the world. I summoned a lightswitch on the back of our house, and without further ado, flicked it up. What I expected was it to become suddenly daylight. What actually happened was much more extraordinary than that--it wasn't daytime, but above my head, all the stars in the sky began to 'light up' and glow white and silver one at a time. The sky tinted a lighter blue as a response--not daytime blue, but not like the space-like black-blue it was before. What looked like thin, white, electrical waves passed between all the stars here and there, which were still glowing a bright and beautiful white. The area was lit up almost instantly as if it was nearly daytime. It was an absolutely tremendous image, especially since I was right under it.
After a minute of being awestruck at the stars in the sky, I eventually start flying around with Dad thinking about what I was going to do. I can't remember why, but even though I planned to stick to my goal and I knew my time was limited, I wanted to spend some time exploring the dreamworld. Unlike our typical backyard out the window it was all forest or plains, with no other civilization around. I came across some beautiful structures that were simply there as art--a variety of colors, textures, shapes and sizes, all towering up to the clouds. Eventually I found the Wal-Mart from earlier in the dream, though completely empty and could be easily stolen from.
(pssht, do you really think I'd steal from there?)
We turn around and I notice something a little more eerie: there was a wooden post stuck into the ground, and surrounding it were stuffed animals sitting against it tied to the post. Well, most of them were stuffed animals, anyway--there was a single live chicken tied to the post, looking right at me. I approached it with a curious mindset, but the chicken was hostile, trying to get to me and preparing to attack me. Eventually, to my surprise, it rips its way from the post and heads towards me. I'm more confused than afraid, especially since I felt no pain or really, no anything when it started pecking at my ankles. I summon and draw a sword from my side, attempting to kill it, but everytime the blade touched it, the chicken would multiply itself and all the chickens would continue to try to attack me. I just stand there unharmed and confused, and look up to Dad. He smiles at me, then looks at the chickens, shouts "Look!" (in which all the chickens look up at him), and then makes a sort of shoving movement with his arms. When he does, poof, the chickens just vanish, leading a cloud of smoke behind them at my feet.
I grinned and thanked him as I felt myself waking up.
I let it happen, preparing to DEILD.
When I'm awake I slowly peek my eyes open to roughly check the time by how light it was in my room. It's light out, so I know it's morning. I cut straight to business this time and start envisioning Austin's house in front of me. Eventually, I'm back in the dream.
For some reason I'm in a third-person camera view when I start the dream, so I take this opportunity to look around the wooden, low-class house for a moment. Then I force myself to get back into my dream body maybe twenty feet before his front door.. Dad's standing a good distance behind me, continuing to accompany me, but giving me privacy for my goal.
I don't have to go to his front door--Austin bursts out the door, and runs toward me with a big grin preparing to hug me. I fall to my knees and hold out my arms as well, and the exceptionally short 8-year-old boy gives me a big, long hug. I was preparing to give him a big long emotional speech and then try to help him, but what came out was quite different. I think I'm crying at this point, and I tell him I'm sorry maybe about a thousand times, in which he just says, "It's okay. You don't have to be sorry. I'm just happy you're here."
We stay like that for maybe a minute, and I'm both happy and sad, and eventually I can feel myself waking up again (in response to a familiar noise, I think my dog jumping off my bed and being let outside by my dad for the morning).
I let it happen, again, and feeling some sort of relief and closure, I finally get up for the day.

    9. Erana and the underworld

      by , 11-22-2013 at 10:16 PM
Me and Erana (of QFG) are in a cave we believe to be the entrance to hell. I'm looking at something in a glass case near the entrance, she's looking at things hanging on the walls. We found this place by chance; we were supposed to be heading somewhere else, but I believe that other place would have wound up being a dead end, and this cave is our best bet. There are these blue butterflies that live here that are known for flying against the wind. The opening that we believe to be the entrance to hell is unreachable for us due to the wind, but these butterflies can go right in, and as I watch them, I'm planning out how we can use that.

(Woke up. Went back to sleep.)

In some small city. Erana was killed, but she reappeared in the form of a child and grew up within a few hours. This happened twice, and we think it's a result of the time she died and I retrieved her soul from hell - now hell won't take her. I'm not sure it'll take me, either, but I'm not in a hurry to test that. Sitting in our hotel room after the second time it happened, I'm trying to think up a way to use that child form to our advantage, but this annoys her.

We're in a series of tunnels, and we split up to try to work out the correct answer to some kind of game that involves finding the right combination of drinks, or in another room, the right meal. We're meeting back up in the main tunnel to compare notes - Erana's solved the drinks room, I'm still working on mine. I mention that it reminds me of kumiko, meaning that it's partially a guessing game and the solution involves rather poetic references, which amuses me; it's kind of nostalgic, even though I'm frustrated. There's a voice in the distance and I say something about how it must be the guardian of this place. I spot him standing on a balcony over a gate we've been trying to get through, a guard with a head or helmet shaped like Anubis.
    10. Snuck away home

      by , 08-31-2013 at 01:50 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
Rane was showing me how to change just the backgrounds of art from some manga. I found a pretty blue and white patterned background, but when she applied it to the picture it only filled it with white except for the chest down of one character and half the head down of another character beside them.

At grandma’s house, mom wants me to stay but I don’t want to. And she wants me to play an MMORPG where the character options are all weird monsters - the one I choose is a floating eyeball with long eyelashes. You choose different worlds. Melly tells me what ones she was told to stick to. I find the game boring and want to go with mom.

-Sneaking around our house because I’m not supposed to be there, I hurry and turn off the kitchen light when I hear dad coming and I go to my room (which is actually just the next room over in the dream). Maybe that’s when the computer part happens?

Note: It should have been me showing Rane how to use that program, since I’m the tech savvy one!

    11. Stealing an Instance

      by , 08-26-2013 at 10:31 PM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
      5:55 A.M.

Cheating in World of Warcraft by jumping in someone’s server.

At first it was a fanart site, but I forgot what kind.

Then it was a manga site. A girl said something about manga for people who had read APH (Axis Powers Hetalia).

Then it was an Instance that turned out to have orc enemies and I had to run when I saw that they were Elite. For some reason instead of just logging off (maybe I was too panicked or it wouldn’t let me), I Ieft the Instance and the owner was waiting outside and caught me. She added me to her friendslist as I warped out of the game (so that she wouldn’t lose track of me).

…But it took me to town instead, and I’m in a Acolyte outfit in Ragnarok Online, female with the white hairstyle in twin ponytails over the shoulders and clasps at the ends. As I viewed my character omnisciently from a point a few feet away, I wondered if she/I was cute enough to get the server owner to forgive her/me.

Bam, the server owner is right next to me, she found me! I quickly type in “Sorry =/” and exit the game. (I never felt like she was going to hurt me, more like she just wanted to talk with me about it.)

Inspiration: Probably due to my increase in gaming lately, playing Dragon Nest and Inazuma Eleven. I played WoW and RO for a long time some years ago. The Acolyte actually looked like mine before she became a Priest! Oh hey, one of my old dream signs, immorality…

    12. Poison soda & unruly dogs

      by , 08-24-2013 at 08:02 PM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
      Fragment
      [12:03 A.M.]

I’m someone else, and when I try to switch back to me the computer goes off and I have to click around for it to come back, as if it was on Standby.

Note: I hadn’t been asleep for long, so it was weird to wake up so early with a dream. o_o I keep my computer on Standby until I’m ready to type up a dream.

      Poison soda & unruly dogs
      [5:00 A.M.]

I apparently got sick because my cousin and uncle forgot to remove the poisonous substance (can’t remember the name now) from soda. Apparently it had to be scraped from cardboard (like the one my cat’s use IWL for scratching).

“So that’s why I got sick?”

      “That was you?”

Something about my uncle ‘listening in’ over a game my cousin is playing, and wishing him luck?

      - Someone taking care of me.

Upstairs apartment (on Meridian (old house from long ago)?), taking care of two dogs.

      - Feeding a piece of chicken to dogs after I get them outside, they had made a mess inside.

-Running in the house from a small white dog? Couldn’t get away. When I opened a door, there it was.

Inspiration: I read something about incubating dreams in The Power of Creative Dreaming, and I’ve been thinking of a dog the last few days to see if it would appear.

*had another dream here but couldn’t figure out how to explain it, but it involved a girl and a dialogue*
    13. Magic rings

      by , 08-23-2013 at 10:12 PM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
      [4:19 A.M.]

#1: Inazuma Eleven, something about a combo move, I almost didn’t wake up enough to type it down because it seemed ‘ordinary’, and almost like a thought process.

Inspiration: Was thinking about Inazuma Eleven before bed, plus I played the game on my computer before that.

      [8:23 A.M.]

#1: Inazuma Eleven, only remember that some guy showed up that I didn’t expect to.

Inspiration: Same inspiration for the last one, except when I was playing the game, I saw Handa, but thought he was Ichinose at first because they look alike, so I was like “what is he doing here already?” (he doesn’t appear until a bit later in the series) before I saw Handa’s name above the dialogue box.

#2: On LiveJournal(?), someone made a post about a game they liked, specifically an area. When I clicked on the LJ-cut, it was a tutorial on how to get a speedhack and play it. The style was similar to Dragon Nest.

There were a team of about 4 girls. My memory of this part is hazy. One loses their ring they have to wear to do whatever it is they do. I have to go digging for it in food in some trash, including some rice. I remember that I almost had it, but dropped it back in more food and had to keep searching.

I’m talking to dad about rings. I remember holding two gold rings together and at least one other (silver with black on the front) being involved.

Inspiration: I’m playing Dragon Nest and just before bed had written the goal down that I wanted to have a dream with me in the game fighting on my archer. The ring might come from the rings in the goal you can equip which glow (golden). The speedhack part comes from the game shield thinking that Avast (anti-virus program) is a speedhack, so I have to disable it when I play.

The food part comes from mom saying we should have rice next time with the crockpot porkchop recipe we had last night for supper.

Notes: It’s really interesting to think about the inspiration for dreams and seeing where ideas come from. XP

We were about to play tag. Pewdiepie just stayed there and watched everything.I asked who is the one that needs to tag,A guy said that it was me. People kept saying I suck at this game and I kept laughing and tagged a lot of people. The dream skips in my godmother's house :| . I was there playing on the computer with PewDiePie.He keeps saying I'm beautiful and I kept saying he's beautiful too,he then tolds me that I look like one of his favorite characters from a game.[/COLOR]

    15. Games seem to be key here...

      #1:
It felt like I was in a Pokemon game. Not much to say about it, except I was only walking around.

      #2:
At the end of a long "dungeon", there were books called Black to White and White to Black (I think this was a reference to Pokemon). The whole books were sort of like puzzles and the pages split from being black to being white in the middle of each page. They had a lot of pictures as well, and I think they were written by J.K. Rowling.

      #3:
My dad had people over. I think he invited over the people with the first phone numbers (1-111-111-1111, 1-111-111-1112 etc) and quite a few came. My cousin was there as well. We were given riddles to solve collaboratively.
