04/12/13 Tornado of Flames I am in my own room, sitting on my bed, looking around. I am surrounded by Templars, which immediately pisses me off. I just used an Immortal Fire before going to bed and they're already back? I focus on using Dark Power of the Abyss by Rhapsody again, to drop another Immortal Fire and get rid of all of the Templars in the area. As the wave of flames from the Immortal Fire expands outwards from me I see it starts rotating as if it was caught in a tornado. The flames are actually pulling the Templars into a vortex portal. I wonder where the vortex portal might lead, and I look through. I see through the portal to what looks like deep space on the other side with a small planet of solid ice, maybe it's Pluto. I figure as long as it's not the Dark Realm they can go there for a while. The last of the Templars are pulled through the portal and then the portal closes behind them. Nomad opens another portal that leads to the moon, and we go through it. I remember that Nomad's girlfriend Winter needs some healing for her fibromyalgia, and there are a couple sores left to heal on Nomad, so I figure we can do some healing first. We go to the balancing pools and slip into the water. The warm water feels very relaxing. I see Winter is already floating in the water, seeming to be asleep. I go over to her and focus healing energy through her. I send the energy through Winter's whole body before moving over to Nomad and focusing healing energy on his foot, on the couple remaining sores, most of which are gone completely and only two small ones remain. While I am focusing the healing energy I feel healing energy going through me, it is so relaxing. I think I am going to fall asleep right there. I am floating in the warm water and almost asleep when someone gets my attention. Washu is there, she says maybe the nanites in my head on the physical plane can be put to use to help us instead of the Templars. At first I have no idea what she is talking about, I give her a blank look. She says come on, Janet also wants a look. Winter stays in the balancing pools, floating serenely in the water. Nomad and I follow Washu to the sick bay area of the moon tower. It looks like a Star Trek sick bay. Nomad and I each lie down in a bed, scans are being done. The computer responds that there are nanites in both of us, though the ones in Nomad appear to be disabled. Apparently mine are doing just fine… unfortunately… Washu says she thinks they can hack in to the nanites and take control of them, or of course disabling them is an option. I tell her maybe reprogram them… if I could use them to get a clearer contact to the Borg Collective then maybe I could boost my recall of everything from things I have learned to my own dreams. Washu agrees with that, Janet types something on a computer. I feel drowsy and I fall asleep on the bed, I notice I can hear voices in the distant part of my mind, voices like those in the Borg Collective. It is just on the periphery of my awareness, however, and I slip off to sleep. Secret Invasion I am with Nomad and some other people in the tower on the moon looking at a computer display. The display shows the area just outside of a town, it looks like Masyaf from the Assassin's Creed games. In one dark corner there are Templars disguising themselves as Assassins. The Templars don't even look like normal Templars, they look demonic in nature, and they are heading into Masyaf unquestioned along with a group of Assassins who had been out scouting the area for intruders. I think that was an epic fail on the scouting mission… So we go to the tower teleporters and teleport to a spot right near where the Templars are disguising themselves. They are Templars disguised as Assassins. We change our appearance so we are now Assassins disguised as Templars disguised as Assassins. We go into the town around Masyaf in these disguises, unquestioned. It seems really obvious to me that there are people who do not belong here, but the guards at the gate seem oblivious. Inside the town it seems people are splitting up a bit, though I am not sure where they are going. I follow a couple of Templars up towards the castle. One of the Templars is sneaking up behind an Assassin guard, but I sneak up on him first. The Templar is dead before he can make his move, I kill him by pumping light energy into him through my hidden blade. I look around in time to see Altaïr eliminate the other Templar I had been following. I look around, not sure how to spot the Templars hidden among the Assassins and civilians. Then I remember the tiara I got from Koomo in a previous dream… it gives me Eagle Vision like the characters in Assassin's Creed have. So I activate that and look over a ledge at people down below. Most of them don't glow at all, those are civilians. Several glow blue, indicating they are allies, they are Assassins. I spot a red one, a mixture of red and gold actually. An enemy and a target. A Templar. The Templar is right below me, so I do an air assassinate on him, dropping right down on top of him. Two of the Assassins see me do this, and their impression is that one Assassin just killed another… I pull the hood off of the dead Templar to reveal his true nature so they will see why I have done that. I tell them that I saw this Templar and others sneaking into Masyaf, be on the lookout, there are more intruders around… all of them demons. I wonder if normal weapons will do any good on the demons… I leave the spot and scan for more enemies. I spot two more Templars heading for the castle entrance. When I get close enough I realize I have been spotted, and they attack me. I form Witchblade into a sword and defend myself. A couple Assassins in the area don't seem sure of what to do when they see what they think is three Assassins fighting each other. I manage to hit them both with light energy and take them out, revealing their true nature at the same time. The other Assassins in the area seem surprised to see the intruders. I wonder how far the Templars would have gotten without being seen… Spike, also dressed as an Assassin, arrives from my left. He says the enemies have all been accounted for, but there is a large force approaching Masyaf. Everyone is gathering at the front to repel it. I head in that direction, but I wake up before I have a chance to make it. Time of the Storm I am with a large group of people, a large group of Assassins outside of the walls of the city of Masyaf. I see a dark cloud approaching, my first thought is that I am in a Dark Tower dream and the Wolves of the Calla are approaching. I look around and confirm I am surrounded by Assassins rather than gunslingers. The approaching cloud is a group of enemies, but it is not the Wolves of the Calla, these enemies are Templars. One Templar arrives ahead of the others, approaching as if he had nothing to fear from the group of Assassins waiting to meet him. He laughs at the group, in fact. He says he will give us all one chance. Hand over the artifact key and maybe he can convince those following him to leave us alive. Someone in the group of Assassins says if the Templars turn and leave now then maybe some of them will make it out alive. The Templar laughs and says he had hoped we would do it the hard way, this is going to be fun. The Templar makes a motion to unseen forces behind him and they all seem to appear out of nowhere. The bracelet I got from Koomo transforms into a pair of giant raven wings, lifting me up above the fight below. I use Battery to call down lightning from the clouds, lightning made of light energy to strike down the demon Templars. All around me I see the fighting has begun, Nomad has transformed into some kind of giant feline and is tearing through Templars like they aren't even there. Most of the people there are fighting with swords, I am being fired at with arrows that are glowing with a black light, charged with dark energy. I dodge most of the arrows, though a couple actually put holes through my black wings. I land in the middle of the fight and form Witchblade into a sword. I can't really see much of what is going on right now, from the middle of the fight. I occasionally spot a familiar face… Nomad… Spike… Altaïr… I use the song Divide by Disturbed to create multiple instances of me. The fight continues for a short time longer until we have emerged victorious. The demon Templars are all either destroyed or forced to retreat to their home dimension. I focus my efforts on healing injured Assassins now, there are a few people around who have been injured but not killed. I wonder how many of the Assassins got killed in the fight, wishing I could somehow have saved them all, but the only way to do that would have been to keep them out of the fight entirely, which they wouldn't have agreed to. I have just finished healing a female Assassin, one of the few women I have seen on the battle field, when I wake.
04/06/13 Tower in the Sky I use my hypnotic program to enter into a WILD… I am in a green field of grass lying on a blanket relaxing. I open my eyes and look up at the blue sky. There are weird energy pulses obscuring my view of the sky. I sit up and look around only to see I am surrounded by Templars. I give out a tired groan, getting really sick of entering my dreams only to find Templars lately. I tell one of the Templars closest to me that I am going to count to 10 and then drop an immortal fire just in case he and his friends want to bug out. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… I get interrupted by the Templar saying they will stop bothering me if I return the orb I took. I ignore that. 6… 7… 8… 9… I notice a couple of the Templars disappear, but most of them do not. The energy waves coming off of them actually seem to get stronger. 10. I use the immortal fire spell, sending a wall of fire out from my position, incinerating the Templars in its path. It wasn't one of my stronger ones, but it has done the job. I open a portal to the moon to meet up with Nomad. On the other side of the portal we are near the healing springs. I notice that Winter is relaxing in the water. She looks like she is asleep. Nomad is there with her, holding her. I feel briefly lonely until I feel someone put his arms around me. That makes me feel a lot better. I look and see I am being hugged by Altaïr. I tell Nomad that there is something I have to get out of the Silver Tower before anything happens, as I am not sure what will happen if it gets damaged. Or at least I think there is… He is looking at me strangely. We go into the tower on the moon, to the main control center. There is a display on the screen of a space station. That is where I need to go. I think I really have no idea where to look… but then I see it. On a part of the station that looks like a radar dish there is a glowing orb. I think the orb looks a lot like one I took from the Templars in an earlier dream… except this orb is green where the other one was blue. I need to get that. I focus on teleporting outside and near the glowing orb. The teleportation works, and I find I am floating in space with no difficulty breathing. The orb is sealed in there pretty tight. I change my hidden blade to a plasma form and use it to cut through a couple pieces of the casing that holds the orb in place. I wonder if their systems will warn them of the intrusion. No matter. I have the orb. I take the orb from its place and teleport back to the tower on the moon. I show the others what I felt I had to go get. What is it? I don't really know. A piece of Eden like in the Assassin's Creed games? A piece of the wizard's rainbow from the Dark Tower books? Neither? Both? It just seemed important that I get it. Everything fades around me as I wake. Star Wars I am in bed and I am on fire! I wake suddenly to see I am surrounded by blue flames, but I quickly realize they do not burn me. Something is burning off of me. Parasites? Are there more Templars around? I see Nomad is in the room with me. I ask if he has seen any Templars around. He says they were hiding but he took them out. I find myself feeling pissed off at the Templars. Nomad opens a portal to the moon. On the other side complete chaos has broken out. There is a space station in the sky over the moon tower, and there is fighting going on all around it. Nomad looks around and says the Templars seem really pissed off about something… He summons a huge animal that he gets on… it looks primarily feline, like a saber tooth tiger, but it has huge golden wings. Nomad flies on the animal into the sky and joins the fight. The fight is everywhere. People are fighting on the ground, people are fighting in the air on winged mounts… He is dual wielding swords, big ones, and cutting through enemies as he goes into the sky. Chaos reigns. I see waves of Templars, goblins, orcs, and Assassins. Some of them are fighting on the ground, others in the sky. I form wings, the wings of a giant raven, and fly into the sky to join the fight. I am an Assassin with raven wings. I am instantly attacked by Templars. Some of them just attack, others of them say I will pay for my interference, he says we will all pay. He attacks me, I shoot him with my crossbow and continue fighting by calling down a bolt of lightning on several Templars coming in behind the one who had been threatening me. The Templars seem determined to destroy everything in their path. I use the song Battery to strike down more Templars. Chaos continues, then the area is filled with a blinding flash of flames. The flames incinerate everything in their path, or at least that's how it seems at first. When the flames clear out I see it really only burned Templars, everyone else has been left untouched. I wonder where the flames came from, I look down at the moon surface and see it has also been mostly untouched. The flames could have burned all the trees and plants in their path but the ground is still lush and green. I fly back to the surface of the moon, looking for Nomad or anyone else I know. Before I can find anyone I wake. The Wolves of the Calla I am in a dark place, though it looks like dawn is approaching quickly. There are other people there with me, lots of them. Most of the people there are children. And most of the children are twins. I look around and see some familiar faces. Roland is the first I spot. From the Dark Tower books. So I do a quick RC by pinching my nose and I find I am dreaming. I see MoSh in the area, as well as Jake, Susanna, Eddie, and a few other women I don't recognize. All the kids head up a path leading into the desert. I look off to the east. That is where they will be coming from. I know instinctively that the wolves will be coming soon. It is now light enough to see the cloud of dust created by their strange gray horses. Roland says they have come too early… we won't have time to hide the children. He whistles to call the children back, and they immediately double back even though they haven't gone very far. Roland says he hopes the trail left by the four is enough to draw the wolves in. MoSh is with the others down in the trench, but there isn't any room for all of us, so Nomad and I are in the corn across the way, watching for the wolves to come. The first of them arrive just barely after the last child has lied flat in the corn field, it looks like they barely missed seeing them. But some of them must have seen, as a group of them are turning towards the corn fields where the children are hidden. I shoot one in the back with a crossbow using electrically charged bolts. The thing sparks and smokes and falls over. It wasn't as quiet as I had hoped… the others turn and see Nomad and I am hidden in the corn. Nomad transforms into a large feline form with huge claws that rip through the wolves' metallic bodies as easily as he tears through their robes. I form Witchblade into a sword and cut the metallic legs from a robot horse, knocking its rider to the ground. Gunfire is roaring now, and more of the enemies are falling. They seem a bit confused as to where the attacks are coming from. One of them throws a glowing ball at me but I cut it in half before it reaches me. A sneetch… those things explode when they impact. I see MoSh shoot the head off of one of the enemies as it is about to cut off a woman's head. The woman is safe and ducks back down into the trench only to come back shortly later and throw a couple of the razor sharp plates they are using for weapons. If that was the woman I think it was, then saving her also kept Jake's friend Benny from panicking and coming out of the trench to make himself a target for sneetches. I jump into the air, partially flying, and knock two of the enemies off of their mechanical horses, cutting them in half at the same time. The fight really doesn't take that long. It is loud and quick, I see Roland take out one of the last enemies and the horse that enemy rode in on. Everything has mostly quieted down before I wake.
04/05/13 Field of Nightmares I fall asleep listening to a hypnotic recording intended to help me achieve a lucid dream… and successfully WILD. I am lying on a blanket in the middle of a green grassy field that the hypnosis program has described. The field is filled with green grass and is very peaceful. At least that's what I am expecting to see when I open my eyes. But instead there are several people right near me and the rest of the field is filled with demonic looking creatures. The people right next to me are Templars, I can feel hostile energy radiating off of them. It looks like the one in front is about to say something, I really am not in the mood to hear it. He says all of the pain can be over if I just return what is theirs. No more attacks, they will leave me alone. I don't believe him. I use the song spell Battery by Metallica to call lightning from the sky to strike him where he stands. The Templars around me are all struck by lightning and disappear. A portal opens in the sky as all the demonic creatures move in to attack me. I hear Nomad yell a couple of loud expletives as he engages the demons in battle. I form Witchblade into a sword and cut down an enemy that tries to jump on me, as it tries to tear me open with talons. The fight around me escalates. There are more people there. When I fell asleep I felt so alone, but it is clear I am not alone at all. I see Spike, Q, Sephiroth, Vegeta, Bakura, Link, Altaïr, and I see there are numerous others but I don't get a clear enough look at them to identify them. A large explosion comes from Vegeta's direction, I look over and see he is powering up… and just his energy aura has incinerated numerous enemies around him. I use Damage, Inc. to call forth fireballs to hit the enemies. As the fighting dies down I see the field of grass is covered with disgusting stuff. Even though we won the battle the place has been destroyed. Nomad is playing a didgeridoo and cleaning up some of the crap. I use the song Full Moonlight to collect more of the crap and neutralize it. The field is beginning to look peaceful again. I tell Nomad we can go heal Winter, he has told me her fibromyalgia is bothering her again. He says he knows I need healing first, we could both use healing after the constant attacks from Templars. We go through a portal to the balancing pools on the moon. I focus healing energy through Nomad, aiming to heal the last of his sores. I slip into the warm water of the pools and it is very relaxing. I sink to the bottom of the pool and fall asleep in the dream as I wake up. Retribution I enter into a WILD in my room and I am surrounded by Templars yet again. I wonder where they keep coming from. How are there always so many Templars? The hostile energy is coming off of them in waves, they are all glaring at me, but it looks more comical than threatening. The energy coming off of them is not comical. I remember I had a goal for dreams… to WILD, then teleport, then manipulate the elements. And I can get payback on some Templars at the same time! I focus on one of the Templars, using psychic energy to read into his thoughts. Not getting much right now. I use the spell song Master of Puppets to clear the signal. He's thinking about punching the guy to his right in the face for some thoughtless remark he made earlier. But not now, later, he is thinking they need to focus on the enemy right now. Since I have a view of his thoughts I ask him where their base of operations is. He tells me to fuck myself, but the image goes through his mind even though he doesn't speak of it. It is located somewhere in the deserts of Nevada, mostly underground. I have a clear view of it. I focus on teleporting all of us… both the Templars and me… back to that location. At first nothing happens. I think it is because of the attacks. I use Whiplash to send their attacks back at them. During the brief time the attacks cease the teleportation works. We are now in a rather plain looking room with computers all around, the Templars look a bit surprised to be here. I tell them I didn't want them to miss out on what comes next. I drop an immortal fire right there in the small room, sending an explosion of flames out from my location, incinerating everything in its path. I hear that one of the Templars has a chance to get out, "Oh, shit…" before the flames surround him. The flames die away and the place is now in ruins. I feel considerably better than I did when I first fell asleep surrounded by pounding attacks. Much better. I am looking around at the ruins as I wake.
04/01/12 Immortal Fire Shield I am in my room, sitting on my bed. I am surrounded by Templars. There are pulsing energy waves coming off of them, I am under constant attack from the Templars. I look around me at the Templars, thinking I want them to go away from me. I drop an immortal fire spell right there in my room, a wall of fire extended from me and blasted all the Templars in the area. I then formed the energy from the flames into a shield to keep the Templars away. I wondered how long that might work for, or if it would work at all. I remembered that I had also said I would do the same thing to clear Templars away from Nomad. I focus on opening a portal to find Nomad. The portal opens and I go through. On the other side I find Nomad is surrounded by Templars. I go over to Nomad and drop an immortal fire right there, blasting away more Templars. I formed the energy into a shield around Nomad to keep the Templars away. I looked at the shield, which looked like a sphere of flames. Nomad looks at the shield and seems pleased with it. I tell him we can get on with our normal healings… so we go to the balancing pools on the moon. In the pools I focus on healing Nomad's foot issues. Winter is also there, relaxing in the warm waters. I focus healing energy through her, directed at easing her fibromyalgia. After that is done Nomad opens a portal to go see his friend, where I focus some more healing energy through him. I can feel the effects of using so much healing energy, and it feels good. I am in a very good place as everything around me fades to black and I woke.
03/31/13 Night of Healing I am in my room, I am surrounded by Templars. I don't want to deal with Templars right now. I have healing to do. I get out of bed, trying to ignore the energy attacks coming off of them. I open a portal to the moon. I go through the portal to find the healing springs. Nomad is already there. He is making out with Winter. I find it a bit awkward to interrupt. I don't wait for long before they notice me there. I tell them I am there to heal. We all go into the healing springs. The water is warm and comforting. I focus healing energy through both of them. Energy flowing through Nomad's foot and all through Winter's body. After the healing is done for now Winter seems to be in a deep sleep. I ask Nomad about his friend. He says yes, his friend. Needs help with depression. I tell Nomad I'll be glad to do what I can. I tell him he'll have to open the portal to get us there. Nomad opens a portal, and we both go through it. On the other side we are in a very barren place. There is one person in the place, all by himself, surrounded by a cloud of darkness. I see one of his eyes is obstructed by scar tissue. I think maybe that needs healing, too. I focus on the song Full Moonlight from the Devil Hunter Yohko soundtrack. Positive energy forms and flows around Nomad's friend, sweeping some of the shadow away. I focus healing energy on the eye. Nomad is also playing music. The area is filled with healing energy. Soon the song is over, but the healing energy remains. There are forms around the borders of the healing energy field. I approach them. Are they figments of a nightmare? No... they're Templars... What are they doing here? They're attacking me with those energy pulses. I hear voices talking all around me, I can't make out what they are saying. It gets louder and louder, drowning out all other sounds. I think Nomad is trying to talk to me. The attacks are getting stronger, but I am about to wake up. The scene fades to black and I wake up. I have the phrase, "May the father of understanding guide us," repeating over and over in my mind. I am waking slowly as that phrase repeats in my mind. This is a phrase said when someone is initiated into the Templars... why am I thinking it now? Someone is trying to turn me into a Templar? I am thinking that it will not work when I notice the sound has changed some. I now hear my cat meowing loudly. "May the father of understanding MEOW!" I am awakened by my cat meowing to get out of my room.
03/28/13 Back to the Night I am with some other people in a barren place, there is no sign of life anywhere near us. I look around and see who is with me. It looks like a quest group from DDO. I am dressed like a paladin in black armor with a large sword, Nomad is decked out in black armor and has a big axe… There are other people there, too, I see someone who is a humanoid fox. I think it must be Pablo. I see him as his long fluffy tail disappears down into a cave entrance. Others are following. I follow the group, not noticing everyone who is with us. I do catch a glimpse of Spike dressed in leather armor, black leather armor, he is looking HOT! We all descend into the darkness, into the caves. The caves are like an endless labyrinth of passages. I hear the screams of people being tortured echoing through the passages, screams of pain I wish I could block out of my mind. We explore through the halls and find an area that looks like a prison of some kind. There are cages with people locked up inside, the people aren't all human. In fact I don't think any of them are purely human. I see some centaurs in a cage much too small for them to hardly move, a tank of foul looking water with merpeople in it, some bird cages with fairies locked inside them. There is a guard pacing down the hallway between the cages, periodically stopping to mock or taunt the prisoners and laugh. The guard looks partly like a demon and partly like a Templar… a Templar bastard… my first thought is to want to get rid of him, but before I do something stupid I see another guard there. If I'd attacked the first one the second one would have sounded an alarm and alerted every Templar in the place. Instead I see the humanoid fox sneak right up behind the Templar guard and snag the keys right off of him without being noticed. Pablo brings the keys back and we start unlocking cages as the guards pass, letting prisoners quietly out. I open a portal to the healing glen, the prisoners go through to safety. This is going smoothly until we reach an area with some giants chained to the walls. The giants aren't content to be silently released. As Nomad unlocks one of them he pulls free and tries to step on one of the demon Templars. An alarm goes off and a fight ensues. The demon Templars are coming from all directions. I am focused on the fight now, using my sword to cut down Templars near me and using Battery by Metallica to call down bolts of lightning on those farther back. We fight to hold off the Templars just long enough to allow the prisoners to be evacuated to the healing glen. Once all the prisoners we have found are free we follow them through the portal, closing it immediately behind us so the Templars can't follow. I look around the healing glen but then I wake. Halls of Healing I am at the balancing pools on the moon with Nomad. He is relaxing in the water, cleansing some disgusting stuff off of him. I focus healing energy into his foot, focusing on making the healing proceed quickly. I think the problem I have with dream healing is sometimes I quit before the healing is done… so I won't do that this time, keep healing it until it is completely gone. Nomad wants to go somewhere else, says something about Templars wanting to destroy us, have us end up dead, in prison, or in a loony bin… I tell him they can't touch us here in the dream state. He says he hates them for what they've done. I tell him to try not to, I let my hate go too far and I sent people to the Dark Realm, a place no one should ever see. It is poison that will kill us just as surely as direct Templar attacks. He says it is time to go back to the Temple of Angels to be healed. I tell him we could probably both use healing. I open a portal focused on getting to where he wanted to go. On the other side of the portal we are in a temple in the clouds. There are angels there, they have healing potions. There is someone else there with us, a man who looks to be part bat… a form of batman? He looks familiar, and Nomad clearly knows him, refers to him as Koomo. I try to remember who Koomo is, my mind isn't entirely clear about it, though I am sure we have seen him in dreams before. Koomo is thanking us for helping free his people from some demon wraith. He says he has gifts… for me? I don't feel I have done anything to deserve gifts, but it feels like a bad idea to refuse… he gives me a golden amulet with a dark crystal in it, says it will help keep the dark and light energies balanced. When I touch it, it forms into large raven wings on my back. He also hands me a bracelet, golden with a dark crystal, that transforms into a snake with jet black eyes. He hands me a golden tiara that also has black crystals in it, I feel a bit disoriented when I put it on, he says that is normal, he says something about sonar… what the tiara has given me is the eagle vision off of the Assassin's Creed games, I can see the auras of people around me, all of them in the area are glowing blue, indicating allies. I find I can will my vision back to normal. I thank Koomo for the gifts, but he says he has one more… but I have to fight him for it. He tells me to fight him. He throws an attack at me, which I dodge before taking to the sky. He is fighting me with a spear. I figure it is a good chance to try out what he just gave me. He attacks with the spear and I use the snake whip to pull it away from him. He dives to the ground, disappearing into a vast labyrinth that seems to radiate darkness. Maybe this is just a test to see if I can use what he gave me… so I activate eagle vision, and I can see him in the dark maze. His aura is now a swirl of blue and gold, indicating he is a target, but still an ally… which seems appropriate to the situation. So I dive into the maze and there is a fight between Zoomo and me, which he finally concedes I have won. I help him up. The spear he has been fighting with turns into a glowing ball of energy, which he says will form into anything I need at the time… armor, weapons… the golden energy flows around and fuses with my Witchblade, the Witchblade bracelet glowing with a golden light. Zoomo says something to Nomad, and I hear him saying something about his planet needing healing. I tell him I would be glad to help with that if I can. He says any healing would be helpful after the damage the demon wraith did during its rule. I make it a plan to do what I can there. We enter a chamber that is very relaxing, that must be one of the healing chambers… I am surrounded by some kind of comfort I can't really describe, and I fall asleep in the dream. World Concert I am flying in my Fire Valkyrie over a place I don't recognize. I look down and see there are cities down below, I still am not sure where I am, but I have a feeling as to what I need to be doing here. This place has too much negative energy, unstable negative energy, and I am here to help with that. So I broadcast a song out over the cities and mountains, broadcasting it so everyone can hear it. Transmitting through every receiver within range, which is every receiver in the world. I am broadcasting the song Touch My Heart. I follow that song with Liberate by Disturbed, and another anime song, Full Moonlight. The planet wide concert doesn't really take very long, but I can see the positive energy flowing over the surface down below as the healing songs have their intended effect. As the last song finishes I head back out into space, flying out through a solar system I don't recognize before I finally wake up.
03/27/13 Pools of Healing I am in my room, in bed. Someone is yelling at me. That is all I am aware of at first. Who is it? I open my eyes and see there is a single Templar beside my bed and he seems to be in a bad mood. But I notice he doesn't seem to be sending off the attacks I have come to expect. He is asking questions. He wants to know something. I assume I know what he is talking about, but I assume wrong. I expect he will be wanting to know where I have hidden the thing I stole from them, instead he is asking what I did to someone. The three Templars that went through that portal aren't acting normal at all, what is wrong with them? I am a bit annoyed at this Templar being here yelling at me, my first reaction is to tell him I'll show him what I did to those other three… he falls silent and takes a step back, clearly not liking that idea. My mind clears and I remember that there were three Templars I got pissed at and sent to the Dark Realm. I'm not about to send another one there, but I am glad the idea of it has made him shut up. In fact I remember I had plans to get those three out of the Dark Realm, no one deserves to be left there. But first to the moon. I focus on opening a portal, and it opens right away. The Templar moves away from the portal. I tell him it leads to the balancing pools on the moon, not the Dark Realm… and then I go through the portal. I get to the other side and it is right next to the balancing pools. Nomad is already in one of the pools and appears to be relaxing. I get into the pool and focus healing energy on his foot where he still has some sores, though the injuries look like they're improving. After doing that I let myself sink through the warm relaxing waters to the bottom of the pool where I am having no difficulty breathing the water. It smells fresh and clean. I am relaxing there as I fall asleep. Out of the Darkness I am with Nomad, Link, Altaïr, and Spike. I immediately don't like the place. We are in what looks like an underground hallway, part of a labyrinth perhaps, a long stone corridor that is illuminated only by torches set in the walls. The passage is stiflingly hot, the stone walls are practically too hot to touch. The look of the place isn't what I find worst about it, however. It's the sounds. From seemingly all around come the echoing sounds of people screaming in pain, like someone is being tortured. I wait for a moment for my mind to clear and then I remember I am actually there to get three people out, because this is probably the area of the Dark Realm they have been brought to. I sent them here, I need to get them out. I notice everyone else is wearing black, black versions of the usual Assassin robes, and I realize that is much harder to see against the dark stone than the white ones I have. So I change my white ones to black. Someone I don't recognize comes down the hall, my first impression is that she is a Templar. But she seems to be helping us… well maybe she would be since the goal is to retrieve three Templars from the Dark Realm. She says she found the way through the labyrinth. There is a torture chamber, she shudders but offers no further description. Another scream of pain echoes through the halls making further description unnecessary. She says there are more than three of them there, she wasn't aware of which ones were the Templars I had sent here and who the others were. I figure it doesn't matter… if they're prisoners here they need to get out. We all follow the woman down some halls to a room of nightmares. I see a sight I am sure I have seen before. A man is naked in a metal cage over a fire, his skin is blistering and cracking as it burns, his face is a mask of pain but he is silent. Nomad says they will see about getting more free before we're discovered, though that probably won't take long. I go over to the man in the cage, he is not even aware of my presence. There is a demon of some kind watching him, completely absorbed by the sight. The demon is not paying any attention to me. The demon looks almost like a human, in fact if I hadn't already known it was a demon I might have thought it was a Templar… but a Templar wouldn't be torturing another Templar, would he? I charge my hidden blade with light energy and sneak up behind the demon, pumping him full of the stuff before he can sound an alarm. I open the cage with the half-dead Templar in it. There were three I sent here… where are the other two? I find the other two near where the first one was. The second one is another man, he is impaled on a pike that is set in fire… burning and impaled… and a demon is watching that. There is a woman in a small pit hogtied and there are bugs all over her, nasty demonic looking things, eating her alive… another demon is observing. Somewhere around here someone must have gotten some attention, however, as the demons depart their posts and began gathering somewhere. I take that opportunity to get the other two free. I focus healing energy on them, healing up burns, bites, and other injuries, and blocking any pain. I see the others are there, and they have more prisoners with them. They are in an alcove, and I see there are demons searching the place. They seem a bit confused, and not sure where to find the intruders. The rescued prisoners all look like they're still in shock from their experience, they aren't very responsive. Nomad says they need more healing, and opens a portal to the Healing Glen where the crystal golem takes care of those who have been seriously hurt more than just physically. I'm not sure how many prisoners we rescued, though I am sure the three Templars I sent to the Dark Realm are the three I got out. I am thinking there are still more of them back in the prison, more of them that shouldn't be left there… but I'll not be getting them out now, I wake up.
03/26/13 Dark Deeds I am in my room, I am in bed. I wake up in bed, hoping it is not time to get up yet. I look around and see there are Templars all around me, there is a strange energy pulsing off of them. It makes it hard to see them even when I am looking directly at them. The waves of energy coming off of them is holding me down, I have the idea it is holding me back in more ways than one. I am feeling quite pissed off at them for their constant attacks. I use the song Whiplash by Metallica to send their attack energy back at them. For a brief time I can see them clearly, a pulse of energy from me actually knocks them against the walls of my room. The attacks immediately resume. One of them says it's not going to stop until I return what I stole, return the artifact and they will leave me alone. I don't believe them. Instead I am getting pissed off. I use another Whiplash spell and send the energy back at them again, this time getting out of my bed and phasing through the wall. I remembered chatting with Nomad on Facebook, he had said there were Templars attacking him… so I decide to go help him with his Templar problems. The Templars attacks are making it hard to focus on opening a portal. They are really pissing me off. I use Whiplash again and open a vortex portal, I want to send them away to somewhere they won't like. Maybe then they'll learn to leave me alone. A vortex portal opens and pulls three of the Templars through it right away. Something comes back out of the portal… a wave of dark energy, it seems I have opened a portal somewhere I might have been better off not… The portal then closes, but before it does I see demons on the other side, the portal led to the Dark Realm, I'm not sure I like the idea of sending even Templars to the Dark Realm. The wave of dark energy slams into me, knocking me back against the bed. My mind is filled with images of the three Templars I sent through the portal getting tortured, demons are laughing, people are screaming. I see images of one of them inside a metal box that is being heated, his skin is cracked and blistered… a second one, a woman, is tied to a bench and is being eaten alive by strange bugs… the third one is actually impaled on a spit and is being roasted alive over a fire… no, I didn't want that, not even for Templars… my anger is gone now, my next thought is I have to get them out of there, but I can't even move enough to get off my bed. Something is draining my energy, that attack that hit me from the Dark Realm? Everything fades to black. I can still hear the Templars crying out in pain and the demons laughing… Queen of Night I am on fire. But the fire is not burning me; it isn't that kind of fire. It is a purifying fire, and it is not burning me, rather it seems to be burning something off of me. As the strange substance is burned off of me it feels like I can breathe again, as if it had been suffocating me. I see I am not alone there. Spike and Altaïr are both right there with me, I see Nomad and MoSh not too far away. And I also see enemies. So many enemies. I realize my hands were tied behind me, not sure how that happened, I don't realize it until Altaïr is cutting the bonds with his blade. Spike starts to ask if I am ok, but then he is distracted by enemies. There is a big fight going on around us. The enemies… orcs? Templars? Templar orcs? They are orcs, but they are dressed in Templar armor, clearly marked as Templars. I think they must be pissed off about me sending three of them to the Dark Realm. I'm not even particularly pleased about that incident. There is a huge fight going on all around me. Is this all about the fact it seems I had been captured? The Templar orcs are attacking my friends, and I start to feel a bit of the anger that led me to send some Templars to the Dark Realm to begin with. I don't want to let that feeling go too far this time, I still want to go get them out of there. No one should be left in the Dark Realm for the demons to be playing their sick games with. I still feel a dark energy inside, but I can keep it stable, so I focus on using it instead of getting rid of it. I transform into the form of a dark sorceress, still on fire… with the black wings of giant raven, somehow seems appropriate. I use spell songs on the Templar Orcs, Damage Inc. by Metallica to throw balls of fire, Battery by Metallica to call lightning from the sky. The entire place sounds like a Metallica concert with an awesome light show to accompany it. Lyrics from a completely different song are going through my mind, "When the shadows remain in the light of day, on the wings of darkness we retaliate…" I can't think what song these lyrics are from… The entire fight is rather unfocused in my memory, it doesn't really seem to take very long before it is over. Then I am on the ground, I see I am in my white Assassin robes again… the dream is over. But it can't be, I still have to go to the Dark Realm and get those Templars out… I sent them there, it is my responsibility to set it right by getting them out. Nomad is right beside me, I look around and see the other people around are also friends. I tell Nomad I have to go to the Dark Realm and get someone out, he seems to think I need to rest. I try to get up, not having much progress. I tell him I have to go now, they're being tortured, I was wrong to send them there… but something has drained all my energy, things around me are fading to black.
03/24/13 Healing Springs I am in the biodome on the moon. I am near the koi pond, though I don't immediately realize this since it has been quite a while since I have remembered being here. I see Nomad not far away. I don't have any recall of seeing him in a dream for quite a while, either. I go over and give him a big hug, telling him it's good to see him again. He says he has been seeing me in his dreams, have I not remembered? I tell him no, I haven't. I have had my goals to meet up with him, but my recall has been lacking. We walk over to the healing springs, the hot springs. The balancing pools. A place to go to stabilize all that unstable energy that is created by constant Templar attacks. I dive into a pool, transforming into a mermaid as I hit the water. Nomad slips into the water. I go under and look for that spot on his left foot that has infected sores on it in the waking world. There are sores there, though they don't look as bad as the pictures of jungle rot I found on Google. I focus healing energy into the sores, gently rubbing the foot, willing the injuries to go away quickly. I swim around for a bit and then back to the surface. Nomad looks quite relaxed. I tell him I am really glad we have been talking online lately… it really helps me not feel so alone. He says I have never been alone. I tell him it is easy to feel alone when there is no one in the waking world I can talk to, at least not about the issues I have been having with the Templars… some people don't seem to want to hear about it, others would want to help and I don't want them to become targets… then there are times I have doubts that any of it is even real. He says that's what they want, is for me to doubt, to stop using my dream skills… don't let them win. I tell him having someone to talk to makes any doubt much less. I tell him I want to find a way to make them stop their attacks, or overcome the attacks… it is really fucking up my life. But I don't feel fucked up right now, I just feel relaxed. I sink back below the water and fall asleep in the dream. Intruders I am in my own room, lying in bed. I wake up and see I am not alone in my room. There are people there, several of them. What are those people doing in my room?! I sit up and look at them, they are Templars. There is strange energy radiating off of them, makes them hard to look at, hard to see. I tell them to get the fuck out of my room and leave me alone. One of them looks at me strangely as if he is surprised I can see him at all. The truth is it is hard to see him, hard to focus on him, but I don't let that on. I tell him yeah, I mean him, calling him double stupid since double ugly doesn't really apply… he's actually kind of hot. The energy coming off of the Templars gets briefly stronger, making them almost completely disappear from sight. I focus on the song spell Whiplash by Metallica, sending the energy waves right back at their sources. A pulse of energy radiates out from me like an explosion, knocking all of the Templars into perfect visibility as it knocks them into the walls of my room. They all look a bit surprised, maybe even a bit dazed. There are more of them than I had thought. I had previously seen four, but there are six of them there, the room is quite crowded. For a bit I can see them all clearly, but the strange energy starts pulsing out from them again as if they were never interrupted. The force of the energy seems to be holding me down in my bed. I can barely breathe. Too much pressure. The Templars are disappearing again, so I use the song spell Whiplash again, sending out another pulse of energy. This time, before they could resume their attacks, I formed Witchblade into a sword and cut five of them down before they had a chance to recover. The sixth one didn't try to get away, he just said killing them would do me no good… return what I stole and the attacks would stop. Things could be a lot easier. I was pissed off, however, not in the mood to listen, and I cut the last Templar down before collapsing back into bed. I felt drained. Like they had been stealing all my energy. I fall asleep in the dream. Wolf Wraiths I am with some other people in a vast dead area, there is nothing but dead trees and barren ground for as far as the eye can see. The sky looks a dead gray color. I look at the other people there with me. It is Nomad, MoSh, Roland, Eddie, Susanna, and Jake. Nomad is riding on a large animal that I am not sure if it is canine or feline. I look in the direction they are looking and I see a bunch of cloaked figures on gray horses. My first thought is an army of ring wraiths from Lord of the Rings. That can't be good. It is clear that the plan is to go down and attack them, I wonder how many of them there are. It looks like way too many. Nomad is aiming what looks like a sniper rifle at the group. He takes out a few on the edge of the group without making a sound. That luck doesn't continue, however, after the fifth one they take notice. Nomad shoots a few more before they realize where the attack is coming from. Now everyone in the group is attacking. I use the spell song Divide by Disturbed to multiply myself into many, I figure that will even up the odds a bit… though we are still seriously outnumbered. A fight ensues. I form Witchblade into a sword as I head into the fray, though guns are being fired and I wonder how I am not getting hit. I am probably moving too fast. I am on a white horse with fiery mane and tail, and the horse is as swift as the wind. I charge into the group, each instance of me on an identical horse, and cut down an enemy who is taking aim to shoot me. I see the enemy has a face… it is the face of a wolf. When he hits the ground, the wolf mask comes off. I don't see anything beneath it. I remember the Dark Tower series… these are the wolves of the Calla. I hear the others around me as I move through the group… each of me has a Witchblade sword and each of me takes down enemies as I go. I get a little disoriented during the fight, but finally I look around and see there are very few of the enemies left, I wonder if they retreated or if they are all dead. Nomad takes out a remaining enemy with what looks like a shotgun. MoSh quickly shoots two of them who are going for Eddie from behind. I see no more enemies approaching. I am about to go join the others but I wake. Stalkers I am in a restaurant of some kind, I am looking around for something to eat. I am thinking I should get something healthy so I don't gain a bunch of weight. I notice there are some people that seem to be following me around. I watch them for a while. Templars. I have no doubt in my mind that they are Templars. There is a strange energy radiating off of them, an energy that seems to drain me when it hits me. It also makes them hard to focus on. I wonder if anyone else in the room is noticing the effect. No one seems to be. Either they don't know what is causing the effect or maybe they aren't being affected by it at all. I turn to leave, and it is clear the Templars are going to follow me. I think I shouldn't even be seeing Templars… and I do a reality check. I pinch my nose and I can still breathe. One of the Templars is standing right beside me now. He says he told me killing them would do no good. My mind has wandered away from Templars, however. I am hungry. I look in the display case and I see the best looking chocolate cake I have ever seen. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and frosting flowers all over it. I tell the person behind the counter that I want that cake, the whole thing. He hands me the cake and I throw some money at him, not sure how much, but it must have been enough. I proceed to make a pig of myself, grabbing a knife and fork and digging in. The Templar doesn't seem to know what to say or do… he is staring at me like I'm crazy. So is everyone else in the room. Finally, my face full of chocolate, I think maybe I have gone a bit too far even for a dream. I hand what is left of the cake to the Templar beside me, telling him it is the best cake ever. I want to get away from the Templars… to get away from that strange energy they have been radiating. I notice I am feeling a bit ill. Is it the energy, or too much cake? I head for the door and go outside. The energy hitting me seems to be getting stronger. The Templar is behind me telling me to return what I stole. I tell him to go fuck himself before I wake.
I was sitting in my living room watching some T.V. with a girl who I seemed to be rather intimate with. We were sitting next to each other "cuddling" while watching something on T.V. After a couple minutes we headed up stairs for some reason and went into my room. Once inside we stood at the foot of my bed talking with each other. "So... do you want to?" I asked hesitantly. I could tell I was blushing a little bit. She just smiled at me and slightly nodded her head. At this point things started to get a little fishy. I walked into the other room for a second and thought to myself, "Wait a minute, that's my ex-girlfriend! We broke up last year!" It was true, I was with my ex with whom I was no longer with. I did a checked my hands real quick and my right hand had 6 fingers while my left hand was missing a pinky. My suspicions were correct, I was dreaming! Just to be safe I preformed a nose plug RC and it worked! I could breathe through me nose. Immediately the TotY popped into my head but I couldn't think of which one to do. I summoned a dart board with 8 spots for each task that wasn't done. I grabbed a dart from the dresser next to me, closed my eyes and threw it. It had landed on the '60s. Awesome, to the moon! Knowing that I had to beat Neil Armstrong down the ladder I couldn't just teleport to the moon, I had to go up with the space ship and everything. I snapped my fingers while picturing the rocket about to take off in Florida. In the blink of an eye I was standing in front of a massive space shuttle. It was even bigger in person! I started to walk over towards it when I heard "T-minus 10, 9..." I knew it was about to take off so I ran as fast as I could towards it. Right as I was about to get on the platform the rockets ignited and massive billow of smoke and fire came over me. It felt just like the last TotY dream. I immediately jumped up as high as I could and was out of the fire. I looked down at the space shuttle and aimed right for the window. I dove down feet first this time and crashed right through it into a small holding tank type room. There were 4 other people in the room with me. Neil, Buzz (Aldrin), the third guy nobody really cared about, and then there was one more. The pilot from my last lucid. WTF! I thought I had gotten rid of him! "Long time no see, eh Burke?" He said, sarcastic as always. "Well look who it is. I thought you left after the hindenburg dream." I said back, equally as sarcastic. "Now now, this is no place for fighting. We have a job to do." He sounded just like he did last time. "What do you mean we?" I asked. "Hey, we're one in the same, remember? Now be quiet, the shuttle's about to take off and we have to let these three do their jobs." "Hold on--" But before I could finish my sentence the shuttle lifted off from the ground with immense force, pushing me down to the floor (which was really the wall). I couldn't really breathe nor talk due to the force from the take off, but after about 10 seconds we were floating in space. "Wow, that was fast," I said. Normally these things took several minutes just to leave the atmosphere. "We'll be there in only a few minutes," The person whom I assume is Neil said. "Now, in order to see who goes first, I say we draw from a hat." "No, no, no, you'll cheat! You always cheat!" Buzz said. "I vote the new guy holds a number behind his back and we guess it." "Doesn't matter to me," I replied. "That sounds good," The third guy chimed in. This whole time the pilot from my last lucid just sat there, silently, staring out the window. "Alright, I'm thinking of a number between 1 and infinity. Neil, you go first." I said. "Umm, zero." He said. "You dumbass, zero isn't between 1 and infinity." Buzz chimed in. "It's my choice and I'll make it however I want." He replied. "Guys calm down, just pick a different number," the third guy said. "Oh, a wise guy, eh?" Neil said. At this point it escalated into a 3 stooges type fight where they kept smacking each other on the back of the head and poking each other's eyes. "Hey guys," the pilot said a little nervously. "Not now, we're in the middle of some--" Neil said, interrupted by a smack from Buzz. "Seriously, you might want to stop." He persisted, but they paid no attention to him. I looked out the window and noticed that the moon was coming up fast. Really fast. There were bits and pieces of arguement flying all over the place until finally a huge force knocked us all up against the ceiling. "What the hell was that!?" Neil demanded. "I warned you guys," the pilot said. I looked out the window and noticed we were on the surface of the moon, the shuttle still in one piece. "Me first!" "No, me!" "I called it, move out of my way!" They kept bickering even after crashed. "Hey! Idiots!" The piloted shouted. "You're not going anywhere unless you put your space suits on." After hearing this they all ran as fast as they could to the corner where the suits were kept. However, there were only two. One person was meant to stay back and moniter everything. They started fighting again, arguing over who should go out. Getting rather annoyed by this I snapped my fingers and summoned another space suit so they could all go out at once. The pilot then looked at me as if he was expecting something. I had no clue what he was thinking and just stared at him while the other were putting their suits on. *Snap!* "Oh! The TotY! Thanks man, you're the best!" I said. I had to beat Neil down, why would I help them out? I walked over to the door, opened it up and jumped right out. The others, who had just finished putting their space suits on, saw me get out and all sprinted towards the door to be the 2nd man out. If they weren't first, they sure as hell weren't going to be last. Once I stepped out I looked over my shoulder and saw the earth rotating slowly, just like in the pictures. The three astronauts got out and, once they finally shut up, looked up and around in amazement. "Wow... it's... beautiful..." One of them said. "Yep, quite the sight, isn't it?" I replied. "Hey buddy, how come you don't have a suit on, yet you're just fine out here?" One oft hem asked me. "Oh, umm. Well, you see..." I stuttered, trying not to tell them I was a dreamer for some reason. "Wait I know why. It's 'cause you're one of those alien thing-a-ma-jigs I've heard about!" Wait, what? He thought I was an alien? The pilot at this point burst out laughing, obviously humoured by the comment. "What's so funny?" I looked over at him. "Hey now, don't be asking obvious questions!" I was a little irritated, but knew to keep my cool around him after flipping out for a tiny little insult before. "Yeah yeah, I know... Say, isn't this where that one guy from the forum had a base or something?" "Oh, you mean Nomad and Raven, yeah, but I don't think it's open right now." He replied. "What do you mean by 'not open'?" "Don't worry about it. Now, shouldn't you try another TotY?" "I guess... but where are you getting at by saying 'don't worry about it'?" I asked. "Seriously, I said don't worry about it, yet here you are, worrying." He sounded a little annoyed, oh jeez . "Alright alright, I'm sorry." I tried convincing him. "No you aren't, don't try and lie to me." "I wasn't lying--" "Yes," he interrupted, "you are. Do you not learn anything? What did I say last time?" I thought for a second, "Umm... as I recall you said 'it's time you learn your place' and then proceeded to kill me." It was true, he did say that. "No you dumbass, about you, and me? Us?" "Umm... that we share the same-" then it hit me. We both share the same mind. He knew what I knew and what I meant. "Exactly. God, sometimes I swear I have to beat the sense into you!" He disappeared. Next thing I knew I woke up. Damnet, he woke me up again. He didn't even give me a chance Oh well, it's all in my head, right? *Braces for him to pop up out of nowhere and hit me* At least I got one of the tasks done.
01/04/12 Note: Three days running… and this time I have more than one dream to post… yay! Of course part of the reason there are multiple dreams is because I have a cold right now, and that caused me to wake up more than I normally do. Woman's Best Friend I am in my own house, and I know there is something I want to do before I do anything else in dreams tonight. My dog, Thor, has been diagnosed with a melanoma in his mouth, which my mom says she thinks is getting bigger. He has an appointment with the vet tomorrow, so I want to take the chance to do a little healing on him. I leave my bedroom and find the dog in my mother's room, he is lying on the bed sleeping. I take his head in my hands, one hand on each side, looking into his big brown eyes. I sing the song "Voices" from the Macross Plus soundtrack while focusing healing energy into Thor. Fly Me to the Moon I am on the moon, on the green moon, everything looks more like it would on Earth. The moon has been terraformed. I see the Earth shining brightly in the sky, it is beautiful. Nomad is there with me, I go over to him, is it really him? It seems like it has been forever since I've had a confirmed shared dream... I go over to Nomad and say hello to him, I happen to think of him saying he has been having problems with carpel tunnel syndrome lately. I take both of his hands in mine and sing the song "Voices" from the Macross Plus soundtrack, focusing healing energy into Nomad. Maybe it can also help with the cold he has been fighting. I notice there is someone off to the side, they seem to be staying just out of sight. I wonder who it is. I ask Nomad if he was aware he is being followed. He looks over and says that is nothing new, he is always being followed. Now how about that Oblivion gate? Ok, let's go. I focus on opening a portal, using Avalon to find an Oblivion gate that needs closing. A portal opens and Nomad and I go through. I briefly see the landscape of Tamriel before I wake up. Templars in Oblivion I am in Tamriel, in the world of the game of Oblivion. Nomad is there with me, and I see movement off to the side. I wonder if there are bandits or enemies out there, but I don't really have time to check it out before I notice there is an Oblivion gate not far off. Nomad and I head in that direction, taking a brief flight to get to the gate. Nomad lands slightly before I do and kills two Clannfears before I even land. We go through the gate into Oblivion… The Oblivion plane looks like I expect it to look, there are a couple of scamps there attacking us, we eliminate those quickly. I remove the head of a scamp with a sword that forms from Witchblade. I am starting to get into the Oblivion theme, and I remove a piece of skin from the dead scamp, that will be useful in potions later. Nomad and I are exploring the world of Oblivion, though I am taking quite a bit of time heading to each cluster of bloodgrass and harvesting some to make potions from. Nomad seems amused by my gathering of the bloodgrass. A couple more scamps attack us, and then a daedra appears with a sword. I hit the daedra with a bolt of lightning, Nomad removes its head. There is movement behind us. I turn to look and there are Templars here! Where did they come from? I tell them they are in the wrong game, get out of Oblivion and into Assassin's Creed. One of them, there are three of them, says there isn't anywhere we can go that they can't follow. A daedra emerges from behind the Templars and draws its sword. I tell them to look behind them, they're being attacked. One of the Templars says they're not dumb enough to fall for that. That Templar finds the sword of the daedra running through his middle. The daedra kills the three Templars and then attacks Nomad and me, I attack the daedra with my sword and run it through. I see Nomad is fighting something else, but I wake up at this point. Close Shut the Jaws of Oblivion I am on the planes of Oblivion with Nomad, there are quite a few dead scamps around us as well as a couple of dead daedra. He says it's good of me to come back. I say my cold woke me up. We enter into the tallest tower I can see and I see the familiar base of the tower of Oblivion. We enter the area called the "Blood Feast." It is the base of the tower, there is a beam of fire shooting up the tower to where the sigil stone sits at the top. I start playing through as I normally do, I kill two scamps and a daedra at the bottom of the tower. Nomad is looking up the beam and he says this should be easy… then he starts flying up the beam. I look after him and say of course it's easy if you use cheat codes… He looks a bit puzzled. I comment he must have used a cheat code in order to fly. But if he wants to cheat… I fly up with Nomad. Even though he is flying directly to the sigil stone, he is not doing it to avoid fights. He stops off on a couple of the paths along the way just so he can fight a daedra or a scamp that is shooting at us. We reach the top of the tower quickly, I go over and kill a couple of daedra that are waiting there for us to come from the opposite direction. Nomad is looking at the sigil stone floating in the air, floating right in the middle of the beam of fire. I say all we have to do is take it to shut down this Oblivion gate. I reach out and take the stone from its place, which causes a big explosion and then we are standing back in Tamriel beside a ruined gate. The sigil stone is vibrating in my hand with energy. I ask if Nomad wants to keep the stone, then I hand it to him. I can get many more. He is looking at the stone when I wake up.
There was a tree in my yard. I was examining it carefully. It was a very strange tree, because it was made out of beads. I went out to the backyard where I saw a huge, beautiful cliff. The cliff steeply dropped off into a river of black water before coming up again. There were steep stairs leading down into the dark valley, but near the bottom they were submerged by water. It was beautiful, yet sinister. I thought about how someone needed to build a bridge to the other side because the stairs were now underwater. There was another guy with me, not sure who he was or my relation to him, that was having a blast jumping off the cliff and into the water. The water was shallow so I was surprised that he wasn't seriously injuring himself. I got distracted and went off to play an old video game. I was about to get to the interesting part when I get a phone call. "Hey, you need to get down here. It starts at 5," The man on the other side of the phone whispered. "What starts at five...?" I asked. "The Chaos Tasks." Hmm, play a video game or meet up with a mysterious cultish figure? I chose the latter. I was summoned to an area with glass doors. So many glass doors! It was like a maze. Trying to find which door was the real one so I could get through this. I followed another guy half way through it before losing him. I eventually made it to the cave where we were meeting up to do the Chaos Tasks. There were maybe 8-10 people there. For sure Saltyseedog was there, Nomad was there, and Nephanim was there. Saltyseedog seemed to be leading the tasks. He was telling us everything that needed to be done. There were about 10 tasks and we could chose the one that we wanted to do. Some were easy. I remember that one of the tasks was "To lay in the river of black water and absorb the darkness". "But first, it seems like we have another issue to deal with!" Salty yelled out from the cave. You could see in the black dreamscape sky a satellite emerging and growing. The satellite filled the sky and then broadcasted blue waves to the people walking the streets. As soon as the blue broadcast waves hit them, they instantly turned towards us like zombified dream murderers. We set out to defend ourselves and kill all of the hypnotized people that were attacking us. I became lucid at this point. I was having a lot of fun experimenting with fighting styles while trying to defend myself from 4-5 people at once. I rarely get to do this because my lucids are normally too calm and peaceful. At first I tried a martial arts style of fighting. It worked pretty good. Uppercuts, blocking their advances, and an awesome new kick I invented. I was getting bored of it though, I had many things I wanted to try. I wanted to try dream magic. I created an invisible energy shield around me while I harvested energy from the attackers around me. When I had enough, I broke through my own shield and exploded with a force field of energy that wiped out any living creature around me. I now fought the attackers with invisible force. I didn't need to touch them to push them away. It was so easy. "We have...reinforcements?" I heard Nomad yell. There were people on our side coming to help us, but we didn't know them. I fought through the masses until I saw something that caught my eye. It seemed to be the leader. She was a woman and snickering at the control that she had. Nomad set her on fire. That made me think about trying to fight with fire. Nephanim, Nomad, and I met up in a corner of the dreamscape near what looked to be an elevator. Nephanim told us that he had been busy hacking into the computer program that was broadcasting control signals and trying to disable it. We had killed off most of the vicious people.
Nomad's Dream I am Juargawn, god of Nothing, a great rakshasa, a lion man, with light tiger stripes atop the Temple of Nothing, in the City of Nowhere in the Land of Aud on the muthafukkin Green Moon. I survey the scene. I am above the jungle canopy. Flying cars float by. Birds swim on currents of nothing. An iridescent blue and black butterfly alights on my wrist. I look at the butterfly, and I can see its tiny tongue curled and its many eyes. It flits away. A breeze makes patterns in my fur, and I can see the individual hairs. The sun begins to set, and the sky turns pink and orange. I inhale deeply nothing-air. Sarnox, my spectral flaming wraith High Priest joins me on the landing pad. We are standing on a picture of Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl battling eternally. “Everything looks so fucking real, dog.” “I know. It’s amazing.” “This is real, isn’t it Sarnox?” “Yes.” I feel like crying, screaming, and laughing all at the same time. Instead, I just kneel and place my lion chin in my palm. I see I have dreadlocks now. I chuckle to myself. A tiny man on a tiny hover vehicle, the size of a dragonfly, rides to me, and hands me a message in the form of a tiny envelope. I touch it, and it becomes a hologram of Raven. “Um, Nomad? Aren’t we going to the pirate ship?” “Oh, shit! I forgot.” I turn, and enter the temple. A purple and black cape grows out from my neck. A silly purple and black top hat appears on my head, and I have a funny dancing cane. The hat becomes a great hood, and the cane becomes gnarled and twisted black wood. My eyes glow violet, and lightning flashes across my face as I stride toward The Mirror. I wave my staff across it, and it ripples like mercury. A scene of Raven planting flowers appears. She looks up at me, squints, and waves. I step through the mirror. I go through a silvery wormhole going through the center of the Moon, and a beautiful silver and white wormhole Wyrm, grins at me as I bodysurf by. I land next to Raven, on the Moon. My friend, Keiko, well, love interest, is somehow now there with me. She’s wearing a white robe, and holding a white staff with a caduceus at the top. I introduce her to Raven. Selene appears, and kisses Keiko on the cheek. Raven opens a portal to the Black Pearl. We step in. In the wormhole we have an epic flash battle with a black dragon fighting the wormhole worm. We are on a ghost ship in a dense fog. The sea is completely still. There are some nasty little bat things gnawing at us, which we toss into the portal. We instantly do healing on ourselves. The ghosts are everywhere. I scan Keiko. She seems right at home. Jack Sparrow steps out from among them. A green mist rises from his skin. “Well, hello there, strange people things.... Ah, I know you!” He walks to Raven, and makes out with her. I laugh. “Let us to the treasure! I mean, lead us to the treasure!” Jack Sparrow proclaims loudly. “Who are you talking to?” I ask. “Uh... me? Me. No, wait, aha, hear it is! My little treasure fairy...” He pulls Tinkerbell out of his breast pocket. She flies around and kisses all of us on the cheek. We dive into the green sea. “At this point, it would be good time to have gills and tentacles... or fins!” I grow gills, tentacles, and fins. We follow Tinkerbell into the depths. There is a strange silver disk at the bottom of the sea. It looks like it just crashed into the seafloor! Is it an alien ship? There is a hologram of a ghostly pirate ship on it. I see the hologram projector is not working too well as the hologram is flickering. We swim down to the hull, and it opens. A strange purple alien is dying... This sounds like... wait, I already have a Green Lantern Ring... The alien speaks, and I feel it’s voice reverberate in my chest. “I am dying,” the Babelfish translates. “... being pursued by ones who want my treasure... what they do not understand is... *cough* they already have it... and so do you... you have everything to give, and everything to receive...” The alien puts her hands over her heart, and pure love energy pours into them in a tiny colored orb. She opens her hands to us, and she exhales her last strange watery breath. The orb expands growing until it engulfs us. My third eye spins, and my entire being is flooded with light. All my chakras spin. I grab on to the hands of two people next to me. The five of us, Raven, Jack, Selene, Keiko, and myself are in a circle, spinning. I feel the orb explode. We are five Love Gods in a World of Light. Suddenly we are back in the sea. Our eyes are glowing gold. “The greatest treasure in the world: The Fifth Element,” Jack whispers. We fly through the water up to the surface. We hover in the sky and turn the clouds into a storm. It rains violently, and disappears. A cool wind blows, and we add our breath to it, sending the ghosts to rest in peace. I open a portal to the Green Moon. “Where are you going, friend?” Jack asks. “Home, brother, care to join us?” He grins and swaggers to the portal, stepping through first. We go through, and end up on top of The Tower. Wait... The Black Tower... And there is a Green and White Tower on the edge of the Sea... Two Towers? The old Biodome wall is overgrown with green, but the energy dome can still be vaguely seen. “All systems normal, Biodome is now complete. Hidden fortress in the forest, as you requested sir,” I hear Stephanie, the Biodome AI say. We overlook a lush paradise. Colorful birds float by, smiling at us. People are singing in a valley below. “This!” Jack shouts, surveying the scene, “This is lovely!” We walk through New Eden. As we walk past the Mirror by the Koi Pond, there is a scene of the sun rising. “What’s this?” Jack asks, and steps through. We are on the Mountain now, in a field of wildflowers among a few great pines. The air is fresh and clean. We look out over the ocean, and the sky grows light as the sun rises over the sea on the Green Moon. In the presence of the overwhelming beauty, all we can do is watch in silence. The sun rises, and warms our skin. “I am going back to my Other Life, soon, friends.” I give everyone a hug goodbye. “We are all real, aren’t we, Jack?” I ask him. ‘Of course,” he says, lightly slapping my face. I growl. He growls back like a dog, and barks at me. I laugh and the dream fades to black.
Plans: Nomad wasn't acting like himself in chat today, and I know I have been depressed lately… MoSh said he could also use some healing, so the main plan for the night was to do a group healing with the three of us. Other plans took a bit of a back seat for the night. A Healing Mist I am in the biodome with Basara. Most of the depression I often feel in waking life is no longer with me, Basara currently has his arms around me to comfort me. I am there in Basara's arms for a short time before a portal he says that if we're going to do a healing we need to be sure everyone is here. I open a portal to MoSh's inner world and go through it. On the other side of the portal I find MoSh wandering around outside the house and calling out to Asuka. I don't see Asuka in the area, so I start searching for Asuka with MoSh, I call out for her as well. I focus on opening a portal to find Asuka, then I lead MoSh through the resultant portal. It turns out Asuka is in the biodome near the healing hot springs. I leave MoSh there with Asuka and focus on a portal to find Nomad. He is in the mountains of the biodome speeding down the slopes on a pair of skis? I don't think I have ever seen him skiing. So I meet up with MoSh, Asuka, and Basara back at the healing springs. We all do healing spells together, and the area fills with golden energy. A soothing mist rises off of the water and surrounds all of us as the healing spells take their effect. All For Nothing I am working at the data center in a hospital just like I have had to do in the past, I am working on one of many computer terminals hooked up to the servers there. Even though there are many other people there and many free computers available, it seems I am the only one doing any work there. I find this to be really annoying. The only bright side is I have a really cool computer terminal to work at, a fancy one that has a lot of power behind it and three screens showing a lot of data. Right now I need to be pulling up some information and printing it out for the nightly reports. I click a few different things and pull up what I think is the report I need, then I click for it to print. The printer springs to life, but the data it prints out is the wrong report. It is not what I told the printer to print, not even vaguely related. I try again, and it prints a bunch more crap that has nothing to do with what I want. This is getting frustrating, and I have the idea the other people in the room know how to fix things, but instead of helping, they are sitting around making fun of the fact I can't properly print out the nightly report. I am very frustrated with being here, does this mean that the time I spent getting my Bachelor's Degree was completely wasted?
Note: My dreaming has been non-existent lately, or at least my recall has been. I'm not sure why I've been having so much trouble remembering dreams, but there are many nights where I don't remember a single dream. Due to my lack of recall, I am taking a bit of a break from trying to dream share with Dakotahnok, since meeting someone for the first time is often a difficulty in itself, and I just want to remember dreams. I do have minor plans, of meeting Nomad and giving him a healing back massage, of hanging out with him for a bit in his serial RPG world as one of the vendors… but nothing major except to remember something. Body and Mind I am on the moon, in the area near the koi pond, though I am not lucid and I don't realize where I am. I look around and see Nomad there, I know that his presence should be telling me something, but for some reason my mind can't make the connection between Nomad and dreaming. So I continue to be non-lucid, and Nomad mentions something about me promising him a massage. I don't remember making that promise, but I have no problem with doing that, so I say sure, but let's go somewhere that he can lie down comfortably. We go over to the grassy area of the healing glen, he lies down, and I give him a back massage, focusing healing energy into it. We are talking about nothing in particular, he mentions that his dreams are fusing with his waking life, he says for example this seems like a dream right now. I agree that this is dreamlike, but I still don't do a RC. After the massage, Nomad says it's my turn, I tell him it's not necessary, but he says he agreed to it, so lie down. I lie down, and he rubs my back, and the place really does feel like a dream. The massage is so relaxing that I fall asleep in the dream and wake IWL. 100% Off Sale: It's All Free! I am with Nomad again, this time we are at a market stall like one might find at the swap meet, it is one of the larger ones, though, and there are people all around. There is a display of fruit that seem to be sparkling slightly, I look at the fruits and wonder what they are. The price tag on them says "100% Off, Today Only!" I pick up a fruit and take a bite of it, it is sweet and juicy… I like it a lot. I think if I can take a bunch of these home, I won't have any problems making myself eat fruits more often. Now to find a vegetable I like just as well… I look at the vegetable display, these are also free. I try a couple of them, and while they aren't as good as the fruit, there are definitely some I could get used to eating. Nomad comes over to me and tells me to not eat all the inventory, I look at the fruits and vegetables in my hands, but I can tell he's just joking around. There are other displays there, with a variety of chocolate treats on them, I wonder how many Weight Watchers points those would cost me… though I should be able to afford to eat something since I have eaten mostly fruits and vegetables. So I start eating other things. Yummy things. Chocolates, cakes, tortilla chips dipped in spicy cheese sauce… washing it down with soda… there goes my diet… While I am eating, a young man asks where he can find some magical fruit. I point to the beans with a giggle, he says not that, the real magical fruit. Since it's the closest thing to magical I have seen, I direct him to the sparkling fruit. He goes over to take one, I eat for a bit longer, then I wake. The Sound of Music I am in the mall, though it isn't a mall I am familiar with at all, and I am walking around past the stores looking for anything that might be interesting. Most of the places are just clothing, which while some women might be really into, I'm not… I spot a couple of computer stores, but oddly enough, they're closed. I see a music shop that specializes in keyboards… organs, pianos, synthesizers… I go inside and start playing around on some of them. An employee comes over and asks if I realize I am playing around on a $10,000 piece of equipment that is extremely fine tuned and any disturbance could put it out of tune, any disturbance such as me pounding on the keys. I am not actually pounding on the keys, so I say any instrument that goes out of tune that easily is certainly not worth $10,000. He says only a musical ignoramus would say something like that. Another man comes over and asks the first man how many times he has warned him not to point out and make fun of the ignorance of customers… The rude man tries to answer, but the second man, who I get the idea is the owner, says the run man should go set himself on fire for 5 seconds as punishment. The rude man slinks from the room, I wonder if he really will set himself on fire. The owner asks what I am looking for, I tell him I am looking for a synthesizer that looks and sounds enough like a real piano to convince anyone that I am playing a real piano. The owner looks at me oddly, even I don't know why I asked for what I asked for, then he says to follow him and leads me to a room filled with pianos before I wake. The Aftermath of Doom I am on my way to school, though things aren't exactly as I expect them to be. There are much fewer people there at the school when I arrive, though I don't notice that it isn't ITT Tech… and then there's the fact I have graduated from ITT Tech already. While there aren't many people around, there are lots of things lying around, discarded for some reason. I look at the objects on the ground. Many of them are along the side of the sidewalk, I see discarded iPods, discarded Nintendo DS systems, discarded PSPs… I pick up a couple of those things and look at them, no one is around, so I start collecting stuff that has been carelessly discarded. If they didn't care enough to keep their stuff with them… I also see purses lying around with no owner. I know I am being nosy, but I open the purses and look in the wallets for identification. Many of them have ID, many don't, so I hang on to a couple with ID and I leave the ones without ID, except I take any cash out of the wallet before leaving those purses behind. Money… iPods… game systems… this is my lucky day! But why is all this stuff lying out there? I wonder if maybe these people are coming back soon, and will be upset when their stuff is gone. The problem is I can't remember where I got what well enough to put it back, so I keep it. I go into the school and find a couple other people there, they look terrified of something. They are discussing the disappearances. I hear them pondering theories including the biblical rapture, alien abduction, a flesh eating virus, demonic attack… A third person says he saw it all, they were all just torn apart by an unseen force. The others don't believe him, saying if that was true, he would also be dead…
