    1. Gladiator, Redneck Style

      1/26/11

Finally, after 4 days, some recall worth mentioning. I hope this means my dryspell is cured.

      1- Gladiator, Redneck Style
I am standing in a line in the middle of a field with my mother and some other people, facing a crazed farmer who is talking about the Arena Games that we are about to fight in. The girl beside me mentions "respawning at one-third power." Oh good, I think to myself sarcastically, That way we can suffer painful deaths all afternoon.

The farmer introduces this enormous truck/tractor hybrid whose headlights resemble big angry eyes. The hood pops open and it's "tongue," a powerful bulldozer arm, tastes the air hungrily. "Meet Bulldozer, the tractor god!" the farmer thunders. Bulldozer picks the man up with his tongue and sits him in the control seat. "Here's a little demonstration on speed, for those of you who are thinking about running off." He drives around us in circles; it's clear that you won't be able to outrun the thing. Suddenly the games are starting, and zombies crawl up through the ground to double our problems.

Bulldozer kills my mother almost immediately. Fear pulses through my veins as I face the monstrous vehicle, but I ignore it and leap over the hood, kicking the farmer in the head. He laughs at me, saying I watch too many zombie movies, then embeds a knife into my forehead. It doesn't hurt that badly, so I continue to kick him, trying to break his neck. The knife falls from my head to the ground behind us.

Just as I'm about to deal the finishing blow, one of the farmhands (or possibly one of the other challengers) picks up the fallen knife and stabs me in the side, digging the blade across my stomach. The pain is agonizing; blood pours from my mouth as I die.

((Despite the pain and everything, this was a really fun dream!))

(Still been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2, so I've been having quite a few dreams involving firefights, but my recall has been pretty shoddy and I haven't been remembering very much lately.)

      "Blades and Bullets"

This dream was like a massive round of Team Deathmatch, and it was absolute chaos. It was night out, and the match was soldiers vs. ninjas. Everywhere, people were just running around, taking each other out. The ninjas were using every nook and cranny that could, to launch surprise attacks, whenever possible. We were on some sort of compound, that really didn't have very many walls, but had lets of wooden beams and banisters. It kind of looked like it might have been a Japanese compound, but I can't be sure. The battle was just fast and intense, there wasn't much time to seek cover or anything, just run and gun, whether down on the ground or running over the conjoined rooftops of the compound. Sometimes, either time would get intel on enemy meetings, waiting for large numbers to show up in one place before launching an ambush and taking out as many people as possible.

The last thing I remember is a huge swinging log trap coming down at me. When I dove out of the way, it flew passed and smashed into the base of another enormous tree, causing it to topple over...right toward me. I got up and ran like hell just as the tree crashed to the ground.

      01/10/2011
      Fragment

Another Call of Duty type of dream. I was in the city street at night, fighting waves and waves and waves of opposing soldiers, which were coming in from all angles. It was a lot like the "Body Count" Spec Ops mission on Modern Warfare 2. I took a lot of bullets, and this dream was actually very painful (though I believe I was wearing armor, so I was able to keep fighting). I also had a partner in this dream (I had played this mission with Todd, recently.), but I'm not exactly sure who it was.

    3. Time Dilation

      by , 01-20-2011 at 09:52 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
      1/20/11

Really long lucid last night. I know that I only had 45 minutes left to sleep, yet the dream felt like it was around 2 or 3 hours. Time dilation was obviously involved.

1- I Attempt to Visit the Antechamber of Insanity
((There is a lot that happened prior to this point, in which I am non-lucid, but I can't recall what it is. Something about packing to go on some sort of vacation. I make a point of packing my laptop in case the hotel offers free internet. Somewhere along the line, I become lucid. I think of my goals, and decide to visit the Antechamber of Insanity. I wonder how to get there.... A portal might be useful, but there's no guarantee I can even make one, and I have limited time. Instead, I stand on a chair and climb through the ceiling (I've learned my lesson about flying headfirst into solid objects), willing myself to end up in the AoI.

When I pull myself through, I feel that I am on a wooden floor. However, it is too dark to see anything. "Does this mean my mind is filled with empty darkness?" I ask myself, half-jokingly. I think I sense Madison nearby, which is a good indication that I'm in the right place, but it doesn't count if I can't see. Madison tells me something, but I can't hear her.

Suddenly, I'm on a shelf above my future step-mother's kitchen, looking down on her and my dad while they're cooking. I feel like a ninja.

Jilda looks up and spots me, nearly dropping the pot she's holding and letting out a startled shriek. Without a word, I drop down and go outside.

As I'm walking, I pass by a dog that is in a cage, yelling at me. (Not barking, yelling.) Wanting to test out my dream control, I point to the dog and tell it to turn into a human. It changes from a quadruped to a biped, but retains all of it's dog-like features. Interesting. I tell the dog it's stupid for not being able to transform, and show it how easily I can turn into a wolf. I begin to run, forgetting about the dog and taking joy in being a wolf, when the dog (who is now completely human) jumps on me and starts attacking me.

I instantly turn back into a human as the dog boy painfully rips my stomach open. I feel blood begin to pour out of me. Angered, I pin the boy to the ground and start tearing at his throat and stomach. Although he is bleeding profusely, he's laughing as if this is just a play fight.

I stand up and examine my wound. It has already healed completely, but my stomach is still red with blood. I wipe it off...

...and have a false awakening. I am in the back of a truck with my dad and brother. We seem to be going on that same vacation from earlier in the dream. However, I begin to notice that some things are a bit... off. First I see some things that I KNOW were in my dream, then I see islands floating in the sky. It seems normal, but a part of me says that it's not.

I begin to read the signs as we pass, to see if they change or say strange things. A sign that should say "speed limit" instead reads "cookie monster." Okay, that's definitely not normal. I examine some billboards, and find that I'm having trouble reading them. That's strike two against reality; time to RC.

I become lucid with a nose pinch RC and exit the truck. I go off exploring, but most of that is lost in memory.

Non-lucid again. My brother is watching a video on YouTube. "What are you watching?" I ask.

"This really cool thing with Justin Bieber in it!" he exclaims and shows me.

"Justin Bieber?" I burst into laughter. "Why are you watching THAT?"

"'Cause he's a really awesome singer! Uhh... just don't tell anyone I told you that."

My mom walks up and I become lucid again. I am trying to prove to her that this is a dream, but even though I stick my finger through my palm she doesn't believe me. Stupid DC...

Later, yet ANOTHER false awakening. My brother is still going on about that Bieber kid. "I thought that was a dream," I mutter to myself, confused. I am contemplating telling my friends about his strange behavior, or saving it for when I need dirt on him.
    4. kitties beating up Padme

      by , 01-18-2011 at 11:14 PM
      non-dream dream lucid

dream 1: I was at my house looking out the back door (its a glass sliding door) and I noticed that my kitten, Padme (yes after Padme Amidala from Star Wars!!) was sitting around just sitting there. Suddenly, all of the other cats started attacking her, mostly biting her neck and drawing blood. She kept screeching and meowing for help, so I opened the door and grabbed her from our largest cat, who is also her father, because he looked ready to kill her; as did the others. She looked ragged and helpess and I sat her on the table. Her green/grey eyes looked at me sadly. I could almost literally feel the pain. There was red blood on her neck where her father had bitten her, and multiple scratches all over her from the others. I cleaned her off and she settled down to sleep. Then I looked back outside and next thing I knew, the cats were attacking "Sherby", our new kitty who I found in a tree a few months ago. She was meowing in agony and I kicked the cat attacking her, Padme's father and her brother "Ragz", in the side to get them to leave her alone. I then brought her inside so I could take care of them. Then I woke up.

DREAM 2 I somehow already knew that I was dreaming. I just pinched my nose and breathed to be sure. I was by the sliding glass door again and my mother walked up to me. I said to her, "Mom, we're dreaming!! Look at your hands! They're disfigured like mine, and we can breathe through pinched noses!!" She looked at me, confused then she looked at her hands, "Oh my gosh, my fingers are broke!! Are we really dreaming??" so I told her yes. She ran into our living room and she said loudly, "This is a dream, this is a dream!!" Then I think I woke up. pretty weird eh? I'm gonna ask my mom what she dreamed about last night. I'm just curious if she might have had the same dream as me. We've had similar dreams before, so it's a possibility that she may have had a similar dream.
    5. No Option but Pain

      1- No Option But Pain
I am a little bird who got on the wrong side of some vultures. They are waiting for me on the power line in front of the house; black-winged harbingers of Death. I die multiple times, but am forced to relive the experience until I get it right.

Finally I come up with a plan. I lead the vultures to the far end of the house, then escape out the other side without their knowledge. I fly as fast as my little wings can carry me, into the house next door. Now I am no longer a bird, but the spirit of a young girl. I float around until I find a strange looking tree house. I hear the vultures approaching, so I quickly enter the tree house, becoming myself again.

Within the tree house is a long, dark tunnel that smells of earth. On the right is a wire mesh that is keeping a bunch of deer-like creatures caged in a small room. They are all grazing and muttering things like, "Earl is returning!"

There are more rooms like this, with many different types of animals. I finally exit the tunnel and enter the main room, where a man and a woman are standing. The man introduces himself as Earl. He tells me he is just about to go search for his deer, who have escaped, but I tell him they are in their cage. "They must have known you were coming back," I say wryly.

I learn that this is a special haven of some sort, but before I can get the full explanation, we suddenly hear a loud roaring sound. Without warning, an airplane crashes through the ceiling and nearly slices me in half. I dodge as shrapnel comes flying from all directions. Another plane crashes, causing even more damage, and is quickly followed by another. This time, I am unable to dodge as the plane hits me full on and pins me to the ground.

When I awaken, my him feels as though it's broken. Someone comes up beside me and informs me that it is only dislocated. They kick it back into place and I pass out from the pain.

I wake up in a hospital a while later. Earl was damaged beyond repair, so the doctors brought him back withing the body of a cabbage patch doll. ((This is a common procedure in the future world that I am in, apparently.)) I notice two other cabbage patch dolls watching me, and I suspect them of being vultures.

    6. Independence vs. Companionship

      by , 01-05-2011 at 09:51 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
      1/5/11

      1- Getaway Car
I am living in a mansion with my haughty mother who expects me to be perfect for the party we are throwing. However, I have learned that some unknown villain wishes me harm, so I spend the entire party sneaking around and spying on people. My pursuer is no one at the party, as I find out. He is a very powerful magic user. If it weren't for the help of Alice (from Resident Evil), I would never have made it out alive.

I become separated from my rescuer and must now go solo. ((I end up going on this super long quest that I unfortunately only remember bits and pieces of.))

      *lapse in time*

My point of view flashes to a man walking around in a greenhouse. He is examining some plants that have been psychicly altered and is contemplating eating them. Suddenly the man's face is torn off, by a friend who had been possessed by the evil magician after me.

I flash back to myself. I have made a pit stop at my Aunt's house for supplies. For some reason I get in my car from the passenger's side, and am crawling through to the driver's side. Suddenly my Aunt hijacks the car and starts laughing like an evil maniac. I panic for an instant, believing that she has been possessed. Then she laughs normally and asks, "How could you possibly think I was evil? I'm hurt."

"I don't have time for this!" I mutter, taking the driver's seat and shutting the door. "Goodbye." Suddenly, the evil magician walks up with a little boy. He hands the child a gun and tells him to point it at me and pull the trigger. Before I can get the car started, I have a bullet through my arm. It hurts, but not as bad as I would have expected. The boy tries to shoot me again, but the trigger jams. He looks down the barrel of the gun and experimentally pulls the trigger. His brains blow out the back of his head.

I drive off as fast as I can, ducking low as more shots come.

My pov flashes to this spider lady. She is facing the evil magician, who appears to be working for her. "Tell me," she says in a seductive voice, "Do you find me attractive in this form, or am I grotesque to you?" The man stammers incoherently. "Be honest," she murmurs.

Back to myself as I stop at a cafe of some sort. I walk inside, ending up at a wall painted with strange creatures and odd phrases. Near the bottom of the wall was the phrase "Paper due. Sad day." Beside it was a picture of a hotdog with a face, sticking its tongue out. After examining the wall with some amusement, I turn the corner into a secluded area where Alice is waiting for me. "I thought I might find you here," I say, sitting down at one of the booths. Apparently we had met here sometime in the past.

"Of course," she answers. "I couldn't leave without you."

One of the waitresses (the one who "usually" waits on us) is sitting nearby. I examine the bullet wound on my arm--- it isn't as bad as I would have expected. Must have just grazed me. "What happened to your arm?" Alice asks me, her eyes intense.

      "I was shot."

The waitress obviously thinks I'm joking. "Did you cut yourself with those long fingernails?"

"I was shot," I say again, this time more forcefully, "by a two year old. Who then proceeded to shoot himself in the head."

Much to my disappointment, I awaken at this point.

    7. 12/30/2010 - "A Lesson In Na'vi Pain Management"

      12/30/2010
"A Lesson in Na'vi Pain Management"

(Tried a little dream incubation, this morning, and paid for it. I had turned on Avatar, focusing on my intention to draw myself into the movie, through DILD. Unfortunately, it worked. Quite possibly the most painful dream I have ever had in my life. I wasn't even on B6, but I did have a good liquor buzz when I went to bed. It was just as intense, though.)

I was Jake from Avatar, standing high in one of the mighty, cloud-scraping trees of Pandora. The war with Quaritch was soon coming, and the rest of the Na'vi were off somewhere, preparing for battle. I was being trained by a man who identified himself as an old arch-enemy of mine. He looked human, but this dude was huge; bigger than I was, even at Na'vi size. (He kind of looked like this picture of Heihachi Mishima, but thicker, with longer limbs, and completely bald.) According to this guy, I wasn't ready to face Colonel Quaritch. I was still "just Jake," and - as this guy would tell it - was not accustomed to my Na'vi form enough to maximize potential. So, he was about to teach me about how to manage my pain. Apparently, as I had somehow already known, this powerful man was planet-renown for his skills, and my best move would be to listen to everything he said. I braced myself, knowing I was going to be in for a tough trial.

Suddenly, I was rocked in the stomach, with a fist that would have caused a human being to explode on contact. Another one followed, with yet another close behind. Before I knew it, I was on my knees, in agony, my ribs feeling like they were being beaten in with a baseball bat. He didn't stop, though, screaming at me to get up, before slamming me with another body shot. This man was definitely not human. His strength was something out of a video game, and I could swear I was able to sense the shock waves jetting off of each punch to my midsection.
I honestly don't know of many times I've ever felt pain like this - if any. The blows rained in on me...almost rhythmically. He was in no rush. Just punching away, at his leisure. Completely unprepared for this, I tried desperately to drag myself away from him; helpless.

I didn't know if he was supposed to be teaching me or was actually trying to kill me. That was until he began to explain how I had the potential to block all of the pain out of my mind, and maintain focus and endurance for battle. He said that it was something that all warriors were able to do, and that I would be able to tap into the Na'vi's ability to do it at an accelerated rate. He wasn't exactly nice about it, though... Each punch would drive itself into my gut, and I would yell out in pain, this man's only response being to yell back at me for not taking it like a warrior.

...I definitely didn't feel like a warrior, at the time...

More punches came, and I was now in too much collective pain to fight back, even if I wanted to. Still, I dragged myself along the gargantuan branch beneath us, which easily supported our bodies, without wavering. He was all over me, though, and just would not fucking let up. He jumped from one side of me to the other, anytime I would start trying to scramble away a little more quickly. Each punch was now starting to bring me closer to tears, already having me openly screaming out with each torturous thud - and he could see it. He picked me up to my feet, my body practically limp, and glared at me sternly. Holding me up with one hand and barking at me to stop crying, he slammed more punches into me with his free hand, and each one was no less devastating than the last. I was being brutally beaten, and it was more than I could bear.

The gnarled look of torment in my face was slowly turning into a snarl of determination. I knew I couldn't just sit there and let him beat me to a meat-sack of pulverized bone. My eyes locked on his, and my fists tightened, every muscle in my body soon following suit. Immediately, he picked up on this and sneered, growling "WHAT?! ARE YOU ANGRY?! HUH??" through his teeth. His eyes were on fire with the a display of malice that just couldn't have been false. This was becoming a life or death situation. I felt my legs strengthen beneath me, beginning to stand up straight, slowly, but almost involuntarily. The pain was sequentially residing as the fist continued to pound away. I was getting stronger with each blow, able to sense that each punch would still have left a crater upon the trunk of the enormous tree we were in, yet I was becoming increasingly unable to feel them.

After a few more seconds of the onslaught, I was standing up tall, glaring at him with a scowl. Finally, he stopped punching, glaring back at me, still looking at me like a mortal enemy, but no doubt gauging my stoicism, after such a merciless attack. From what I could tell, he had decided that I must have been successful in my ascension. My torso still burned from all angles, but my entire muscular structure felt tightened and invigorated. The pain was still there, and it was damn intense....but I just didn't care. He told me that I was now ready for battle...

My recollection of the dream skipped ahead, and I was then running and jumping through the towering trees with a female Na'vi. She swung across a gap between branches, on a vine, and I did the same, right behind her. The two of us landed on another branch, this one just barely big enough for us to fit upon. When we landed, I took a sweeping glance down toward the ground - hundreds of yards below us - and I felt my stomach turn. It was the first time that I realized just how high up we really were. I found myself thinking "what the hell am I doing way up here?" and I think this could have eventually led to lucidity. However, all chance of that soon disappeared, when our attention got drawn to the sight of the Colonel's aerial gunships flying in over the landscape, toward our village. What might have been our last run through the trees was now over, and it was time to go to war.

(I woke up here, and the movie was actually just getting to the final battle, practically in sync with the content of my dream, leading me to believe that some of the audio might have been seeping into my dream content, when I was beginning to awaken. I was hungover, and it seemed to take some time for the pain in my stomach to fade. Instead, it seemed to go to my head , which was throbbing. Even some time after all of this, sitting at the computer, I had to hug my stomach, just because it seemed like the faintest - probably just mentally projected - trace of that horrible pain still lingered.

Not the best sleep I've ever had...)

    8. Thanks for the Torment

      by , 12-10-2010 at 09:03 PM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
Yep. So in the dream I was in my 4th hour, and I accidentally fell asleep during his lecture. I began to dream of dreaming about being in a video game. I was looking for an axe. I think the video game was probably Minecraft. A girl appeared next to a tree and told me that she wants me to fight her.

"Sure...Just hang on a minute, I'm really thirsty." I walked into my grandparent's living room to get a glass of water. Her facial expressions showed disgust in being postponed. She quickly ran up to me, stomped on my feet and said, "and that's only the first level of pain." It didn't hurt at all so I brushed her off.

Well, this pissed her off even more. She dragged me to the other side of the room violently. She put a small table between her and I so that it obstructed my vision. She had my feet underneath the table and I was laying on my back.

The pain started mild at first. I wasn't sure what she was doing, but it couldn't cause any harm, right? And it didn't really hurt.

The pain grew like a wild fire, encompassing both my feet and legs. It felt like my skin and bones were both in a raging sea of flames. I could sense that physically my skin was cold to the touch - but the flames were internal, existing deep beneath my skin and charring my essence.

The pain continued to intensify, and I screamed wildly. My own screams filled my ears and went to the highest frequency. I shrieked as loud as I could, hoping that someone could hear me outside of the dream.

"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed louder.

And then the pain vanished and I woke up to the beginning dream.

"Are you okay?" A teacher asked, looking down at me. I looked around. I was in the middle of the hallway and people were staring.

"You were screaming so loud. Even the people in the cafeteria could hear you!"

I looked down at my legs. They looked fine, although some of the pain in the right foot still existed as a ominous remnant.

I limped back to my 4th hour, where I had fallen asleep at. I wondered how I had managed to wake up so far away? Had I sleep walked?

It was still the lunch hour, so I talked to my friend about what had just happened. I explained to her that the girl I had met in the video game was the same girl in our 4th hour. She said that the exact same thing had happened to her as well.

    9. Dissolving Into Space Time

      by , 11-11-2010 at 03:57 AM
It's been awhile since I had a real lucid. Yesterday it started off with me getting a bedtime visit from my demon. There are some really beautiful memories from that lucid dream that I would love to paint if I get the chance.

Last night I was lucid most of the time, but I also forget a lot of it, due to sleeping aids and such. At one point I remember flying around searching for a friend of mine that I really wanted to see. I realized that shouting their name wasn't going to get me anywhere, so I attempted to try the linear acceleration technique to see if I could enter their dream (has worked in the past). But this time it was different. The actual process of the flight was so much more real, it felt hyperreal...and I attempted to accelerate to a speed that was as fast as I could possibly go.

I like the idea of ripping through the fabric of space time to enter another person's dream. But this time, when I hit my limit, which was at or around light speed (I think), something different happened. I didn't rip through anything and wind up in a new dreamscape...instead I felt my body...the tips of my fingers...began dissolving away...as though I was moving faster than light speed...and I was leaving molecules behind. It was so strange because it actually physically hurt. The tips of my fingers felt like they were dissolving away, or ripped off...and there was a stream of particles flowing behind them. It was happening all over my body, but my hands were out in front of me so I could see them slowing dissolving away as I reached my speed limit. I stopped accelerating because it was really painful, and I knew something was not right.

After I stopped accelerating, I just let myself float through the darkness of space and it took me a good five or ten minutes to recover. It felt like I was slowly pulling myself, my particles, back together. I was absolutely exhausted, my brain was hurting a lot, and my heart rate was up. But I couldn't wake up or move, not because of sleep paralysis, but only because I did not have the energy to.

Imagine being in a lucid dream...and realizing you don't have the energy to wake up? It was so strange, I've never experienced anything like it. I don't think I will try that technique again. Even for awhile after I woke up I didn't feel right. I was completely drained. Literally had to roll out of bed. I'm starting to wonder if I was ripping my astral body away from my physical body or something...but in a way that...was somehow bad.

Also, I noticed that while I was accelerating my brain was vibrating really strongly at the crown. The top back...I could feel those neurons firing like crazy (I guess that's what it means when you feel vibrations). So it could be connected to the crown chakra (which I think is your bodily entrance/exit point)...or to a certain area of the brain that was firing at the time.
    10. Fragments for October 20 2010

by , 10-21-2010 at 01:53 PM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. I'm walking through the Grand Canyon with a school trip. Everything is ridiculously clear and vivid; the sky is the bluest I've ever seen and the rocks are towering above. We go to climb some of the cliffs and the texture of the rocks is rough beneath my fingers.

      2. All I remember is shaving, and shaving poorly. Whenever I draw the razor across my face, I nick it and draw blood. Once I even pull a sheet of skin off instead of hair. I'm hurt and frustrated.
    11. Walking on the Highway

by , 08-06-2010 at 04:15 AM (Sailing the Noosphere)
I am walking along the expressway at the Cut-in-the-Hill near Cincinnati. A convoy of Fender guitar trucks passes to my left, each carrying a different model of Stratocaster guitar and each labeled with the make and price of its contents. One of these is called the "Super King" and is listed at $42000 dollars! Somehow I cross the lanes of traffic and open the truck, taking out the guitar. I call my mom, telling her that I'm holding a guitar worth more than all of our cars combined. Soon, however, I put the instrument back and start to walk home.

It's harder to walk up the hill instead of down it. I have to dodge cars, even jumping into a ditch in the median to avoid getting hit. A cop rolls by my ditch and takes a look at me, and I start to worry. My brother then walks out from nowhere and starts to walk with me. Soon, one of my back teeth comes loose and breaks away with a slight pain. I look at it, and am disgusted as it's completely black and cavity ridden.

    12. First log, Some dreams from last night

      by , 08-03-2010 at 12:33 PM
first attempt at DILD failed last night.

I am standing on a bridge in my hometown looking up river with some of my friends. The river is fished a lot in the past by my father and I. We notice that there is a large triangle shaped of inordinately large fishing rods.

I triy the check hands technique to assert i was sleeping, as i look down to my hands I am greeted with the site of a fishing hook poking through my "rod" from top to bottom. One of my friends, Craig, steps forward and pulls the line (as is his character to wind me up in any way possible). I am generally not phased by pain so this was not a nightmare. I then went to a small bathroom and removed the lure. I attempt to urinate and, of course, like a bad comedy movie this results in my "rod" working rather like a hosepipe with holes in it. Roughly at this point my girlfriend inadvertantly elbows me and i am awake.

The next dream I am playing a new version of resident evil with Craig (again), the game becomes the dream and i am running around a virtual world. After 60 minutes (possibly borrowed from the real videogame, Napoleon total war) I lose the game and a super monster appears. The super monster has the body of a gorilla walking upright, with the head of george bush and a stars and stripes top hat, it picks up a car and throws it at the vehicle i am in killing me and ending the dream.

The last dream I am in a hotel with my family waiting in the foyer, we get annoyed at waiting so long so I go to find where my father is. He is at the bar with 3 other people (one may have been my uncle). I hassle him to hurry up (he does this in real life!) and he jokes about. I go outside the hotel and I am sitting on a bench with a girl from my hometown. The bench is on a mountain - i realise I am in my hometown and my family are in america. At this point my girlfriend starts messing about with my internet connection (?) and i get annoyed at her and ignore her.

      That was last night....
    13. Ghosts? Maybe...

      by , 07-31-2010 at 05:24 AM
I am sitting on my bed watching television when my brother Erik bursts into my room. He stands there and says something to me that I can’t make out, it sounds like he is very far away. I stand up to get closer to hear what he says, when suddenly the door disappears. He looks back at where the door used to be, a look of surprise on his face. I turn around, and watch as my dresser moves in front of where the door used to be, all on its own. Then, a wooden chair comes from nowhere and floats towards me. It starts attacking me, beating me with itself. I scream and run towards where the door used to be. Erik screams and curls into a ball and lies on the floor.
The chair flings itself at me, but I duck and it smashes a hole in the wall. I run out through the hole into the living room. While I am running, I can feel something burning and cutting at my arms. I look, and twenty lit matches are slashing at my arms, singing my skin, causing burn scars. I fall to the floor and roll around screaming, trying to get the matches away. They keep attacking my arms. Suddenly Erik runs into the living room with a glass of water and starts to throw it on the matches. They are doused in water and fall lifeless to the ground.
I get up and look at my arms, realizing I am on fire. I drop to the floor again and roll around until I’m not on fire any more. But now, as I lie on the floor, a baseball bat starts to thwack me on the head. I try to get up, but I can’t move. It’s as if the matches put a curse on me. I soon pass out from being beaten.

    14. Walking from Alaska

      by , 07-30-2010 at 09:45 AM
The dream is a pretty vivid one. I am with my mother somewhere in Alaska wandering around on the small, snowy streets. We get into a shop which was actually more of a bar. Some people are inside drinking on the massive wood tables. I want to buy something but all i can buy is bubblegum. Therefore i decide to get some but my mom disagrees. After a share of weird replicas like" But i want to" i get some. We walk outside and head forward. From behind a man walks past us. He looked awe-full and was walking randomly in the same slow pace. After this encounter i find myself in Radauti(a small city near where i live) in some sort of hospital. IRL the place is a glasses shop but i was there with a doctor and and one of my colleagues from school. In that place there was also a piano but i guess because i listened to some piano covers before going to bed. The rest of my classmates were outside just walking in circles. Presumably they were headed to a club but in that rithm we'd have to wait for one to be built near us . I keep moving between the hospital and my the group. At one point some kids start shooting at me with some toy guns. This is probably my first dream in which i feel pain. The dreams just goes like this with me waling around and talking to my friends , looking at the kids, at a patient in the so-called hospital and refusing a friend who asked me to carry their backpack home.

    15. Fragments from July 22 2010

by , 07-24-2010 at 03:43 AM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. My brother, dad, and I are at the animal shelter adopting a new cat. For some reason my brother empties his pockets, but all he has in them is a large and unwieldy knife-wallet hybrid with a combination lock. An Asian man grabs the lock and starts cracking it. He soon solves it and tries to leave, but I hook my finger in the lock and pull to make him stay. We struggle for a while and he calls me racist names, then pulls out a pistol. I then proceed to knock him out with my other hand and escape with the family.

      2. I'm playing DDR in an arcade with some of my college friends. It only costs two tokens, but the machine has been modified to float and is very unstable on a pool of water. My friend Q starts to bash arrows on the machine, and I try to stop him from messing me up. I lose my balance, however, and fall into what turns out to be putrid water.

      3. I am watching a Tupperware container with a hot dog and a bunch of Cincinnati chili. Suddenly the hot dog grows a tiny mouth and starts to eat the chili, eventually leaving the container spotless!

      4. I can see my own aura, and it is green. Someone else (unintelligible notes) also sees it and comments.
