dream fragment

I remember a bus that was supposed to be taking us to Florida but so many things delayed us that by the time we were about to leave I wake up. (I actually do have a trip to Florida in the spring.)

Dream 1
I was jogging in the greenway I could feel the strain in my legs, it felt like I had been jogging for a long time. I saw Brock Lesnar jogging too. A I jogged I came up to a sort of platform that went up in a spiral and as I climbed it I could feel my thighs burning. An old lady was very impressed.

Dream 2
There was a warehouse near the greenway and Omar was there with some other guy. I think Stringer Bell was there and I think they had a gunfight also.

Dream 3
In the Bronx there were crips walking around and they saw some bloods and chased them into a narrow path. Then more bloods and crips showed up there crip girls and blood girls, some younger members showed up in shopping trollies and were pushed down the hill to attack.

It was just weird.

Dream 4
Batista was in bed with a woman and he said something about being cheap. It turned out that is was a promo fro his appearance on Donna (I imagine that she's a talk show host or something). He was wearing a purple shirt open like Vic Vance's leisure suit on GTA:Vice City. The camera zoomed out and I could see a studio and "Donna".

Fragment
I was defending a space station in Combat Evolved. I was holding a rifle and had shot some grunts.

I was in the kitchen that I know think might have been the kitchen or some room from a ranch I visited some time ago. Me and my mom were there and on the table was a huge Disc Jokey(DJ) thing. It had two giant record type things and I think some ports and stuff for iPod and discs and stuff. I remember my mom leaving and I stayed there to try and figure out the system and I remember getting annoyed that I needed two iPods when I only had one so I couldn't mix songs. Soon after that is when I woke up I think but It was annoying because it was my alarm.

*I'm on one side of a battle front and there's a commander on the other side. I spot him with my sniper and shoot him in the spine. He goes down, but everything has the feel of a game to it. He gets up and gives me the finger. People all around me laugh and I wave to him. Next thing I know I'm in a big warehouse with antiques and glass everywhere. I jump around and do backflips, landing on goblets carefully. The gravity is a bit off and it feels amazing. Forceez is there with me, we jump around for a while doing insane stunts. I grab a plate and balance on it with my feet in the air. "I take back what I said about me having bad muscle coordination, I'm awesome at this!" I say happily.

Last night I had exceptionally better dream recall than before, for numerous reasons. I was not drunk and high when i went to bed... I went to bed around 12:30 and i drank apple juice 2-3 hours before bed. I also woke up 4 hours into my sleep for the WBTB technique.

I started out my dream lucid but i quickly lost it without doing any dream control into the dream because i could not do anything without almost waking up due to the excitement. I soon forgot I was in a dream, but this is good progress. I woke up in denver and I was in what seemed like a medieval village except i knew i was in denver colorado. I soon saw my family and at one part of the dream we were in what seemed like a big beach store with staircases all over the place. I kept telling my mom i needed to either start driving or take a plane home tonight because i had work at 11:30 tomorrow. I dont remember much else from this dream

This might be a continuation of the previous dream or another dream altogether, but i was still worried about getting to work at 11:30. I was with my dad and we were driving to his house, and there was a long drive and i dont remember much of what happened but we got to this nature place and started to walk along this path, which in the dream world you take this long path through the woods to get to my dads house, no path in real life. Then we decided to drive somewhere else because my dad can not walk that far and got to this random house, which i faintly remember was my old friends house. But then we decided to leave to my dads beach house (this is how i know im dreaming a lot of times in my dreams my dad has a beach house, he doesn't have a beach house in real life) but I did not realize i was in a dream. I woke up shortly after this.

The beginning of the dream (or as far as I could remember) had me trying to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, of all things, though my father informed me that someone hacked every copy of the game had cutscenes replaced with a video of a man hanging himself. Curious, though nervous as well, I proceeded to play the game, and not long after, the video began. At the very beginning of the video, it showed a sort of hook, holding the separate head that dangled and twirled on the hook. As if it was not disturbing enough, it had emotion and life in it. It looked scared, and pale, but it was breathing hard as if it was still attached to the rest of it's body. It was hard to tell if it was male or female. It had a unique facial structure, which in the dream I assumed was male, though now I am not so sure, though had long and greasy brown hair that stayed still with all the motion. Not long after, it cut to a different scene, where a man, who's face I can't remember now, was talking some sort of rebellious words. He was quite skinny, and wore a very bright-white tanktop with baggy camo pants. I forget what he was saying, but it was a young, rebellious voice. Once that was over, it moved to a scene where it showed the camera from the inside of the entrance of a barn, but a man in a pitch black rabbit outfit began walking forward and forward, very slowly and ruggedly, but still continued on. Soon enough, he was right in front of me, and that is where I first woke up at about 3:00 am.

I eventually got back to sleep, and this dream had a much more happier tone to start off with. It was a sort of party or something by a large warehouse. I don't remember what it was about, and a lot of it is fuzzy, but I do remember that I was with a small girl and a muscular man, which I do remember we looked at a shack that had appeared in my dreams before. The shack stood by my school, and it sold ice cream. We reminisced on the good times we had there, and it really was a good feeling. Other than that, they and I were both worrying about making a sort of deadline, for what? I don't remember. Some time later, I guess zombies invaded the area around us. It wasn't much, but there were enough. I found a pistol somewhere in the warehouse, and took it. I began shooting them in the head, and come to think of it, I am quite surprised how well I did with a gun, how skilled I was. Soon enough though, they broke in the door, and I tried to repair it, but they got to me, two began attacking me before I escaped from their grasp, which is when a horde bursted in. I ran around, looking for something that would heal me, which is when I noticed that the cast of Scooby-Doo (don't ask why...) were fighting along with me. Here's the weird part, Shaggy began to try and compete with me to get a shot which would heal me, and when I grabbed the shot, the dream ended.

What could all of that mean?

Don't remember much of this dream except riding on the shoulder of this huge mech, and making it fight other machines. It was really fun. I had to yell at it to make it fire it's missiles, but eventually it ran out of ammo....or it just wasn't working anymore.

Okay so I was at a fairground with my brother Sam and we wanted to go on this ride but it was PACKED full of people! We were forced to go on the big wheel instead which was going pretty fast... It was massive too and you had to use a catapult to launch yourself into it. Several times Sam was only holding on with one hand but i didnt get scared. (The point of the ride was to hang on to the edge not sit in the carriage. ) I felt sick and dizzy on the ride. My stomach had butterflies in it! Anyway, we rode the ride for about an hour then went t the other ride which wasnt too packed anymore. It was a big stage and everyone had to sit down on it, spread out. A white cat was put on the stage and whoever it chooses got to have the first go at the game. The cat chose me and I stroked it . It turns out there was no game and I just got a limited edition name tag! (?)

I had a few more dreams but I really cant remember them.

I was riding in a car with my dad, brother, and a friend. I was staring out the window when suddenly I became lucid. I tried to open the car door and jump out but just as I reached for the handle I could feel myself waking up. I tried to stabilize the dream but seeing as I have no idea how to do that I failed. Lucid for 4 seconds, yay

Time: Night of 11/11/11 or Afternoon of 11/12/11

I can only remember bits and pieces of this dream. I was woken up by my dad, but I fell back asleep and I think that's when I had it, but I'm not sure.

I go to bed way too late, like almost 3 AM. I go to bed listening to a lucid dream induction video on my iPod. (The one I listen to currently can be found here.) I try to think about how easy lucid dreaming is, and what I'm going to do in the dream, (as prescribed in Silverbullet's Key to Lucid Dreaming). Eventually I fall asleep.

I wake up, but still lie in bed. My dad comes in to wake me up because it's like 1:15 PM. He leaves and I lie there for a bit. I drift back to sleep and I think that's when I have this dream:

... I was overlooking some massive, beautiful city from a hill. The city looked kind of futuristic, and had glistening tall buildings. It was near the sea, and the sun was setting...
With a group of some of my classmates from school, we were being told about some upcoming train ride. I don't remember what the train ride was for, exactly. I was asked if I wanted to be some sort of handout person on the train, handing out information to other people about something which I can't remember...
We are on the train now, but the room we are in certainly doesn't feel like a train car. It is a large cafeteria type room, with tables set up with free food. Although this obviously didn't look like a train, my mind still told me I was on the train. There were windows. I looked out and saw that we were on an elevated track on some sort of bridge thing extending over some beautiful, misty river valley. It looked like a very cool environment...
In the cafeteria car thing I'm eating donuts, I can't remember if I actually tasted them...
I'm looking out a window in a different car, which is still too big to really be on a train. I look out a window at the scenery below, which is similar to the aforementioned river valley. I walk away from the window towards some hallway-thing, and hear a girl from school laugh. I turn around and imitate the sound. I walk into the hallway thing, which I can now tell is an actual train car inside, as in how one should normally look. It's very narrow, with some seats facing forward, on the inner side (I don't know how there can be an inner side of a train, but it didn't have windows), and seats facing inward below some long windows. There are a ton of people from my class in this row, standing up. They were told to begin doing the handouts. I saw one of my friends was wearing a vest that said "Baptist Church" on the back, which confused me because I know he isn't Baptist. My mind tells me the train is now headed back to the city, though I didn't remember stopping anywhere in the dream. I felt happy that I didn't decide to be a handout giver, but I don't know why now...
The scene is now a flyby of the train from the outside. It is on an elevated rail still, over a massive ocean. The sun is either rising or setting, and the train was shaped like a normal train! There were no bulges from big cafeteria cars or anything! Inside the windows I could see people sitting in their seats, riding home.

I wake up, but don't remember that I had been dreaming for a few minutes. I finally do remember after feeling sad that I didn't have any dreams. That's when I got up to write this.


This is the first dream I can remember having since I joined DV. I want to make good use of this journal. This is a good way of keeping track of dreams since my computer's in my room and I hate writing by hand. I want to maintain a constant format for my dream recordings so that it becomes easier to recognize dream signs and such.

NOTES

• I don't know for sure if I had the dream during the night or after I woke up and fell back to sleep, it just seems like it happened after I fell back asleep.
• The fact that I was confused by my friend wearing the "Baptist Church" vest is interesting because it shows that I was able to remember real-world facts even while dreaming. This could help on my path to LDing.

I'm on a spaceship in space, of course, and we are searching planets for any signs of life.

Hey DV. Had two lucids last nice, but sorry, they were too vivid. My recall is a little shot.

I Was With My Friend Of Mine That I See Sometimes.We Were Pulling Pranks Around His Neighborhood And,We Got Caught And We Were On The Run.An Enemy Was On A Floating Platform . He Was Shooting Fireballs At Us. Also,At The Beginning Of The Dream I Kept Taking Airplane Flights To Somewhere That Seemed Familiar ,Maybe Key West FL.

Had 4 dreams or so. 2 I remember, one I vaguely remember, one I barely remember. Oh well, gonna write them.

1st
In this dream, I was in a car with my family. We were riding to somewhere, I dunno where, I didn't try too look at through the window. I was in the back seat. I looked at the window to see a cocoon. It was yellow, and really nasty. Then, something started going out of it. Since I was scared, I went to the front seat, so it isn't near me, just to find another cocoon was on the window of the front seat. It was the same color and everything. Then, a bee, a hornet or a wasp. Probably a wasp. I was scared...

"Dad, kill that thing!"

My dad was driving. He commented sometyhing about how he always has to do these things. He hit the wasp going out of the cocoon. All the sticky yellow liquid splashed on the window. It was really gross... The wasp was still moving. It was hit, but not dead, yet. My dad hit it with something again, and some more of the gross liquid flew over, and the wasp was still moving... This was the end of the dream...

Yep, that was one of the dreams... Now to the second, which has anime-like graphics. In fact, it was probably a slightly mutated Naruto dream.

A group of ninjas were walking, and in the dream, I swore I thought how it was from the Hidden Village of the Clouds (See Naruto if you dunno what it is). The group was confronted by another type of ninjas. These had a different outfit from the first, and had purple cristals all through their body. I guess, in the dream, this was a special Kekkei Genkai (Again, watch Naruto to know what this is). They seemed to be allies.

Suddenly, one guy of the first group attacked a purple cristal guy. Everything next in the dream concentrated on the two of them. The first guy made energy attacks from his palms. He would swing his arm and a giant energy wave would get out. The cristal guy just dodged his attacks. Then they talked about something. It seemed as the first person was trying to tell him what should he do, but the other just didn't listen, so he fought him as a way to change his mind. The End...

Note: I don't know if this Naruto dream was a fragment or not, but I definitely only remember this part clearly. I also remember that somewhere in the dream, with two swords, I slashed enemies, but I dunno if it is a part of the ninja dream.

And, a small fragment I can't say I really remember.

I was on dreamviews, or some other LD-related site. There, I read about WILD. In reality, there is only WILD and DILD, all others are subtypes of these, but in the dream, I remember reading of WILD as a subtype of another LD-incuding technique along DEILD. Anddd, that's all I can remember.

I would rather not tell about the images from the other dreams I had, since I remember them only vaguely. I guess that's all for today.
