    1. Adam and the desert

      by , 11-26-2015 at 08:55 PM
Earlier, was just lucid enough to deliberately fly upward with the intent of getting a wider view, instead lost visuals and wound up in a completely different scene, losing lucidity.

Standing on a ladder outside a suburban home, the wind shifts, hot and dry, a sense of the desert that's going to claim this place and incorporate it into my people's territory. I'm the one who led them to this place, but I feel conflicted now. I excuse myself to the man who'd been holding the ladder, and go inside to take care of some loose ends. There are too many signs of how personal an interest I've taken in this world, learning their language, getting much too attached; I should dispose of that evidence.

Elsewhere, among the troops, I'm speaking to one of them on behalf of a man in this world, Adam, trying to make sure they take care when they process him. I say I've never seen a dreamer with power like his before. Which is true, but I'm also being careful to phrase it in practical terms, downplaying any personal attachment. I have to stress the importance of him as a resource not to be wasted. The man I'm speaking to agrees that they'll be careful, but I don't think he's really paying attention, just brushing me off. I end the scene flying back to that suburban house, desperately searching for Adam.

The following scene focuses on a brother figure chiding me for hanging onto a ghost.
    2. The dream wanted to show me something but i woke up. LD

by , 11-26-2015 at 11:01 AM (Come on, let's go for great nightlife adventures)
Last night I went to sleep at 3 o’clock in the morning. I lay down on the bed without even turning the light off because I was so tired. Then I felt asleep.

Suddenly my door open, I thought it was my dad, I said "oh my god my dad saw my light still turn on" I wake up so quickly from the bed and said "yes I know", but nobody was at the door. Then I said to myself: "wait this looks like a dream" and I became lucid. I get out of my room, and the dream was fading. I lay down on the floor and I was moving backward by a force pulling me down stairs. I said to myself "maybe the dream want to shows me something". I was now in the diner room then I woke up.

    3. Living in paper DILD

by , 11-26-2015 at 06:57 AM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
I am in a game known as uncharted with a couple of different twist. There were three players left including myself that were still in the game. I manage to team up with one of them to take the last player that was hiding. After we did that we went against each other. I eventually won and was back inside the house. Once back I went in to the living room where I see my mother and brother talking.

It look like it was the afternoon as the sun is setting. I told my brother had started playing uncharted again and that I did pretty good. He seems surprise, I tell him my character is male and that he looks a lot like the character Dragunov from tekken. This person has been standing in the kitchen so I assume that must be brother character. I notice my mother seeing next to me on my right. She look worried so I turn my direction to where she had been looking to hear music playing.

It was familiar to me, since I listen to that music sometimes through the week. I then turn my direction to the opposite side and notice that through the window I could see the outside. It look like it was a drawing with vibrate colors. An odd combination for what the outside is suppose to look like. I then realize I am dreaming and woke up. Lucidity Time: 3 seconds.

    4. 11/25/2015 Short but lucid (5 HTP+Galantamine used)

      by , 11-25-2015 at 10:20 PM
On 11/25/2015 I went to bed around 00:35 at night and took 100 mg 5HTP before bed. Before waking up at 0430 am to go to the rest room I had broken but some memorable dreams. I was walking myself on the street which appeared to be from my former country in which I lived (Russia) as I walked beside the door I could see various families though the wall but did not dare to come in. I then walked in to one of the apartment buildings and saw my best friend inside his room, he was hostile a little and didn't understand why I showed up. The dream then changed and I ended up on the lawn of the house I used to live on. My best friend was looking out of the 2nd floor of the window. I then woke up.

I went to the rest room and took 2 pills of Lucidimine which would equal 12 mg Galantamine 100 mg alpha GPC, 100 mg CDP choline and 200 mg of choline bitartrate and 400 mg of l theanine. To no surprise I could not go back to sleep for a while and I felt like doing things I felt very stimulated and anxious.

at 0700 in the morning I finally began to dose off and felt like flying though Dubai which im not sure why maybe some of my repressed childhood memories from 1995. Then the dream changed and I saw myself standing in the pink room with pink walls. Something old me that I am in my dream and I looked at the palms of my hands (one of my dream signs) and I instantly became lucid and knew I was dreaming. I opened the door to the second room which was also pink and had a few small white castles near the wall (in that moment I knew why I was dreaming that..in about two months my wife and I will have our baby girl). I then moved to the next door and wanted to see my wife, she instantly appeared as we got very intimate before the dream ended.

The dream did not last long but it was very lucid and realistic I will tune down the dose of Lucidimine next time to one pill again.

I was riding a bicycle in the forest with some friends when I realize that I was dreaming. I push the pedal hard and the bicycle accelerates, the sensation of acceleration was like an extraordinary feeling. I lift my feet then re-push hard on the pedal and I repeat the action over and over again because the sensation was so incredible...

    6. [LUCID] XKCD shirt / Smartish watch / Long FA chain

      by , 11-23-2015 at 11:09 PM

      Alarm @ 0230
      Bed @ 2240
Woke @ midnight, used bathroom, BTB

      XKCD shirt
I'm somewhere with Allan (a coworker I haven't seen for about five years), and I'm thinking about XKCD. My initial thought is that he's a programmer, so of course he saw the most recent comic, but then I figure there's no harm in asking. It turns out he's never heard of it.

Now I'm ordering an XKCD shirt. It's white-on-orange, and they have a choice of about a dozen shirts. Now it's arrived. I'm pulling it out of the package, thinking about how I blew half my monthly allowance of "do anything " money on a silly shirt just to tell my coworker about an online comic. Oh well. I pull it out and look at it, realizing with horror that I must have ordered the wrong shirt by accident. It is an XKCD shirt, but it doesn't have a print of a comic, only some kind of list. I wonder if I can return it, but I probably can't, and the return shipping would probably make it not really worth it anyway. My wife sees it and asks me about it, and I explain it's to introduce my coworker to XKCD. She gets a sort of "wow, that's weird, but whatever" expression on her face.

Woke around 0100 with a crying baby. Woke around 0130, ditto.
      Woke @ 0230, BTB @ 0245.
Woke @ 0320 after feeling something on my head. After flinging it away with my hand, I did a nose-pinch which indicated reality.

      Smartish watch
I see an ad for a watch on sale: a nice Casio men's watch. It's not a "smart watch," but it is a very nice digital. It's got a lot of nice features, including an mp3 player, a stand (how does that even work?), something that changes how the watch acts depending on your current activity and time of day, and a bunch of other stuff. The list is very long, covering the whole right side of the page. I see a URL on the page, something like www.move2watch.com (whatever it is, it's two words separated by "2") and visit it. I see that that all the extensions for the watch are currently on sale. I didn't realize this watch even had extensions; that's pretty impressive. I glance briefly at the list of available extensions, but none of the descriptions make any impact on me. I wonder if I misunderstood the flier - maybe the extensions are the only things on sale, not the watch. Looking back at the flier, I see that the watch itself is on sale for e$49.99. I'm not sure what that works out to, but I'm guessing about $60.

I see a note somewhere indicating that if you're going to get a law changed, please do it before commissioning a new extension. If a law is changed and it requires updating an extension, you'll have to pay a re(something) fee. Email Allison (someone) <some dept>, Allison (someone) Heating Dept to request it. Reading further, I find details about the process. It says she creates a VM based on the current law to simulate how the watch will respond, so she'll need to make a new one after a law change. Her simulation uses four units: witches, guards, citizens, and <something>. I see a whole lot of colored wooden kids' blocks stacked on the floor in a bunch of piles: yellow for citizens, blue for guards, red for witches, green for <something>. Each pile has different numbers of each blocks, but each pile has all four colors and has them stacked in the same color order with the entirety of each color grouped together (e.g. 5 greens, 3 blues, 6 yellows, 2 reds). According to the rules of the simulation, witches kill citizens, guards kill witches but lose their own lives in the process. I see blocks starting to disappear from the stacks as the simulation runs its course.

Before returning to bed, I try to set the intention that in my next dream I'll see the watch and become lucid.

      Long FA chain
I'm in a house, in a small bathroom, getting ready to leave. My wife and family have already left. I notice that something is wet and look up to find what looks like a pipe sticking out of the ceiling and dripping - but as I look, it starts pouring. There's a whole pile of clothing on a counter under the window, and it's soaked in seconds. I try briefly to think what could be above us to do this but I'm drawing a blank. I call my wife, but the connection is terrible - then I realize that I'm not talking to her over the cellular network but instead over a barely-connected Bluetooth connection. She's a couple of miles down the road - how is Bluetooth even working?? - so I hang up, intending to disable Bluetooth and try again. I realize something is off about this whole situation and nose-pinch, finding it really is a dream.

Now I'm driving on a four/five lane road through a commercial area with shopping centers to my left and right. I see an ad for something, and it seems really familiar. I do the nose-pinch test and realize I'm dreaming, though it takes a couple of iterations to really sink in that it's working - I can tell I'm still breathing with my nose pinched, but at first I think I'm accidentally breathing through my mouth.

Now I'm parked in my car in the parking lot. I find myself moving really slowly so as to not disturb the dream, and again I realize this is silly - I need to intensify the dream, not move as if on eggshells. I remember my goal for intensifying is to do the first few Fibonacci numbers, so - keeping my eyes open - I count 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 - which was as high as I'd intended to go - but it seems so easy I keep going - 13, 21, 34, 65 (I think I must have accidentally added 21+44 instead of 21+34). It's starting to get hard, and I don't want to lose the dream because I completely lose focus on it, so I stop there, pleased with how well I did.

Now I'm standing on the parking lot, and I decide to fly. I remind myself that this is a dream, that everything around me is a creation of my mind, including my body (though I don't go so far as to remember that my real body is asleep in bed), then try to lift off. Nothing happens.

Now I'm in an alley behind the stores. Ivy is growing everywhere. There's quite a lot of exposed wood - something like trellises - along the side of the alley. The far end of the alley is completely blocked, though I know there's a road behind it. Again, I walk around touching everything, feeling it, yet remembering that it's not actually there. The ivy is a dark green with large leaves. I touch the ground, some wood, the leaves. I think about how I wish I had some way to record this so I didn't forget it after I wake up, and I remember my project with my DIY dream mask to attempt to record Morse code from inside the dream state and read it back later. Unfortunately, that project is benched for the time being, so I'll just have to remember everything as best as I can. Oh well. I decide not to fly back here but want to get back to the front of the store for the extra room, but the way back is blocked. Somehow I dig through a wall of dirt, but I'm not happy with the feeling of dirt clinging to my hands. I look at my hands and at the grayish dirt clinging to them, remind myself that the dirt isn't real, and mentally command it to fall off. To my immense satisfaction, the dirt does just fall off, leaving my hands almost (but not entirely) clean.
      I wake up.

As I lay in bed looking around the (well-lit) bedroom, my wife walks in. She's talking to John and Jenny who follow her into the room. She notices that I'm awake and asks if I've had any success with my lucid dreaming. I excitedly tell her that I actually just woke from a lucid dream, that I couldn't manage to fly, but that I did manage to get dirt to fall from my hands. They're clearly enjoying my enthusiasm, but my wife - who's always thought that the whole lucid dreaming thing is pretty silly - turns to them and mock-apologizes for me, saying something like "I'm sorry, he really is a good man." Something seems off, so I discretely nose-pinch and realize I'm still dreaming.

Details are really fuzzy for this scene. I'm walking through a field towards a small building build in an Oriental style. Getting closer, I see a patch of dirt under an overhang. Somehow I use my dream powers of dirt manipulation to dig down into it and/or toss it aside to form a path to the evil queen.
      I wake up.

I lay in bed with my eyes closed and try to perform a DEILD chain. I can hear the sound of the rain/ocean playing through my pillow speakers. I'm a bit disappointed when nothing happens (though not too much, since I've never gotten a DEILD to work); but then I remember that I had a false awakening just a few minutes ago and this might be another one. With my eyes still closed, I slowly reach up a hand and do the nose pinch, finding that I'm still dreaming. I have a moment of "what do I do now" since I'm in blackness; but then I open my eyes and find myself in a bedroom - to my sleeping mind, it's the one from my parents' house in Virginia.

I find myself in a house with a rather rustic feel to it. I walk over to the window and look out to see a landscape covered with snow. Trees stand out here and there, and dozens of snowmen - some large, some small - dot the yard. I think how much my kids would love to be here in real life. I have a passing thought that it would be fun to summon a blizzard. I give a brief mental "push," but nothing happens. I decide I don't really care and shouldn't spend my mental energies / focus on this. I can't really fly too well indoors, but then I remember Ophelia's story from one of her podcasts about how her eyes changed when she looked into a mirror. I head off down a nearby hallway in search of a bathroom.

I quickly realize the hallway is stretching off into the distance, and I decide I'm NOT going to lose lucidity to something stupid. I turn left, intending to try to find a bathroom that way, and come face-to-face with a mirror mounted to the wall of the hallway. Looking at myself, I'm dressed as I am for bed during the summer: wearing a pair of boxers and nothing else. Thinking back to Ophelia's story, I start out by closely examining the reflection of my face. The shape is a little off, the bottom half too triangular, the eyes too large, the skin too smooth and light, the whole impression somehow too childlike or perhaps Anime-like? I don't even watch Anime - but each individual change is fairly subtle. I turn away from the mirror to see what else I can do in the house, but I wake up.

This time I'm expecting it to be a false awakening, but I keep my eyes closed (again hearing the speakers) and attempt a DEILD chain just to be sure. After a few moments, I again do a nose-pinch, and again I find I'm still in the dream. I open my eyes, get out of bed, and find one of my kids waiting for me. I pick her up, thinking to myself that if she starts fussing about something I'll just put her down and walk away - after all, she's not real. I decide that even if I can't lift off the ground, maybe I can step into space and not fall. I get up on the bed and walk to the foot, noting (but not questioning) the nice wood chest a few feet away and the stairs beyond. Disappointingly, when I put my foot down on the air I just fall to the ground (though somehow I remain standing). Oh well. I think about other ways to start flying, and I remember people talking about baby steps, of using means to achieve flight before you just will yourself into the air. I decide to go outside, hold out my arms, get a good running start, and launch myself into the air. At the very least I should be able to glide a few feet off the ground as I have before. I go down the stairs, turn right towards the front door, unlock the deadbolt, open the door, go out onto the front path (detached garage to my right, house to my left, lots of greenery - I note the snow is gone), and
      wake up.

Again, I try to DEILD chain, do the nose pinch, and find myself in my real bed. I note that my real bed felt different from my dream beds - rougher, perhaps, providing more sensory input than the fake ones did.

Fragments: Someone is playing a side-scroller on a console, about to fight a boss.
    7. November 22nd 2015 TOTM

by , 11-22-2015 at 07:24 PM (Deep Inside The Lucid Dreamer's Subconscious)
Basic Task ii - Ask a DC to tell you a joke (Rodrodrod)

Other things occurred earlier in the dream, but the first thing I remember was a character in tall snowy mountains. He kept walking around and yelling "wooliath" or something like that. The dream follows him up some steep slope in between jagged mountains to the very top. Then, I'm in the dream with my friend Terry. We speak about some random thing and then I'm looking over the cliff. Suddenly, I accidentally fall forwards off the mountain. My mind questions how far up I am and how far I have to fall. The first thought that pops in my mind is that I'm so high it's like I'm skydiving. Sure enough, I fall through some clouds and beneath me I see the earth. I'm miles in the air. This actually puts me to some excitement but I fear that when I hit the ground it might seem all too real and it will hurt. Anyways, my view is of a lot of water and some land masses on the edges. I'm falling closer and closer to earth when I realize that this is a dream. When I realized it, I just decided I could float up right as I got close to earth. Before I hit the ground, my momentum shifts and I'm flying upwards now. I look at my hands and decide to do some reality checks. First, I rub my hands together to feel some friction. Then, I do some math. "2+2 is four. 3x3 is 9." Okay, I'm solidified now. A thought comes up, "okay now what I do want to do?" At first I was going to just explore the dream but then I remembered the TOTM and decided I go onto the ground and look for someone to ask to tell me a joke. So, I fly towards the ground through the clouds until I see a bridge over water. I fly down and land under it now standing in shallow water under the bridge. I look over and see two people against a wall. I do not know who the person is on the left, but on the right is my friend JP. A smile lights up my face and also his as I walk over to him. I say hello and then ask him to tell me a joke. He refuses and says that it will disgrace his family and also the university that we go to. I lose interest in his story and turn around. My left eye starts to close so I try to look at my hands and rub them together but the dream collapses.

    8. Ahhh... The Wonders of SSILD

by , 11-22-2015 at 04:01 PM (The Nightly Dreamer)
      Date: 11/22/15

Report: I used SSILD. I fell asleep at 11:00(ish). Woke up by alarm at 4:30, thus making it 5 1/2 hour wbtb time.

      Dreams:

      1) Women, the solution(and source) of all life's problems; 10 min(?); V8C5R7E0W4

Synopsis: The first real lucid I've had in a dry spell that begun in June. Although i had limited control, It was the longest and most vivid dream I've had in while.

Dream: I wake up in the middle of the night. My Mom is standing at the foot of my bed, telling me she needs some help with some boxes. I'm slightly weird-ed out by the fact she brought this up in the middle of the night, but decide to just get it over with. I'm starting to doubt that this is real, so i glance at my clock, look away, then glance back. The time's changed. Realizing that i'm dreaming, I quickly stabilize by running out, reminding myself i'm dreaming, and start shouting "Night to day, Night to day, ..." The sky slowly get's brighter. I decide to summon a talking cat, so I shout "Show me the cat!". My actual cat appears, which is not the kind of cat i was hoping for. I look around me, and realize how real everything is. It's so detailed. I try, but fail, to fly. I decide I want to jump off a skyscraper to see what it feels like, so I successfully teleport to New York. Unfortunately, I'm in a subway station. I stabilize again, then try teleporting to the top of a building. Everything goes black. I am, however, able to remake the image of the subway. I give up the skyscraper idea, and remember the night's goal: To go to Riven. I try teleporting again, but arrive back in my room. I sit down at my desk, and realize how cool it is that the time changes each time I look at the clock. I ask once again for the cat, but I look outside to find my IRL cat sitting on a dead tree in the middle of the road. I think, "Well, asking for a cat isn't going to work" I instead ask for my dream guide. Silence. Then I decide to go outside, but as I pass through the living room, my mom says: "Now you're talking to yourself." I ignore her and head out the door, to see Bertha and Micaela(IRL spanish class classmates) coming down the stairs. I decide to try and bang Micaela (she's really hot IRL). The excitement, however, destabilizes the dream and wakes me up.

Results: In summary, SSILD has been working spectacularly to break my dryspell, and has resulted in the some of the most vivid dreams I have ever experienced. It is clear, however, that I need to work on my dream control, as it has deteriorated in the several months since my last real lucid(The creation of Trenzalore). I hope that SSILD continues to work for me.

      Dream signs:
      None that I recognize.

I am arguing with someone--perhaps myself--over whether or not I am dreaming. I go back and forth, from one moment saying I am and am completely sure, but the other person (me? there is definitely someone else there with me, but I can't remember who it was, so it might have been them) asks me if I am sure that I'm right, and I go back to questioning myself.

    10. Nature Game [DILD/WILD/WBTB]

      by , 11-21-2015 at 03:58 PM (Dimension X)
I had a few LD's that were a combination of DILD, WILD, and WBTB.

The DILD was just any other dream, I'm not sure what triggered it, but I looked at my hands and I realized I was dreaming. I began to just ask to my dream "Who is my dream guide?" I received no answer. Everything got bright and I woke up.

I went to go back to sleep quickly, and I managed to get to the transition. I struggled to get through it, but when I did, I began to picture things, because I've learned that's very helpful when trying to get into the dream world. I usually just picture food, like a cheeseburger, or a slice of pizza.

The dream I ended up in was like a video game. I was playing as... something. I'm not even sure who or what it was. It was a 3D platformer. I was out in artificial nature, I heard music and everything. It was definitely a video game. Weird. I got distracted by the world I was in and tried to remember the name of the game. I can't remember it now, dammit.

My lucidity was lost a bit into the dream, but I still managed to have 2 more LD's.

I'll only update my dream journal now when I have either a lucid dream, or a really long and memorable non-lucid dream.

Or, any shorter dream, as long as it feels super important or significant for some reason.

    11. A question for my unconscious

      by , 11-21-2015 at 09:59 AM
I spontaneously realize I'm loosing while being on some dark street within the city I've never been to. I see a couple of joggers approached me and I decide to speak with them. I get their attention and I asked them to stop. Then I go along to ask him questions on what they think about this city we find ourselves in. He then responded in kind of a annoying manner, well what do you think. I feel like a dream characters were put off from me so I decided to fly for them trying to impress them. I took off loading expecting just to soar above the ground at a reasonable distance then I found myself flying too high. Then out of fear I yelled back down to the ground now!

I instantly crashed into the ground suddenly. Almost instantly I found myself inside of the apartment complex with in the bedroom. I noticed there was someone trying to crawl through the window behind the shades in this freak me out. I started to run to the front door to escape but was ever approaching me. I managed to get out of the front door with some difficulty, looking back I realized the person crawling to the window once this young lady that appeared to be transparent. I then thought of my idea to ask my unconscious mind what is the best and most effective way for me to change the dream scene. After I stated this out loud everything faded and a image of a horse jumping through some kind of a obstacle course appeared. That I woke up.

    12. November 17th, 18th, 19th 2015 LD's: Awesome View of Milky Way, Swinging, Dream Healing Attempt

      by , 11-21-2015 at 01:17 AM
Quicker posting to avoid burdensome catch up later. Open Beta exercise 3A has been primary daytime exercise for the last ~10-14 days. Seems to generate more random lucidity with slightly lower awareness since I have been slacking on self-awareness work during the above-mentioned period.

      11/19

DILD initiated by out of this world view from hotel room. Placebo or psychological, whatever, the dream healing was followed by relatively no back pain the next day which is unusual for me. Chose this primary goal instead of getting busy with any of the four women in the room.

11/18 DILD. Felt like I was catching LD from the beginning of REM period after brief trip to bathroom. I become lucid by the starkness of the room I find myself in.

11/17 DILD dream scenario initiated like yesterday. This time it was driving from back seat and having an odd view obstruction.

    13. Drowners, zombies, breaking the dryspell

      by , 11-20-2015 at 10:27 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was in school, inside an office. I was there with my mother and younger sister, and we were waiting for som papers. We finally got them, left the school and entered our car. We drove around the crowded streets. There were so many pedestrains that moving with car was almost impossible. A few times I could see two girls from my class.

We finally drove away from the city to a countryside. We stopped at a gas station and entered it. It was really crowded, and suddenly everyone started to fight. I tried to hide myself from them, and then suddenly all of them disappeared. My family was gone too, and there was only a dude that drowned in a sink inside the building. I had a bad feeling walking there, I felt like he was watching me all the time. I moved, keeping my eye on him, and saw that his eyes followed me. I said "Don't stare at me!", grabbed his head and moved it away so he couldn't stare at me. But he was moving to his previous position all the time.

I decided that this is the best moment to leave this accursed place. There was an alley in between two houses. It led to nearest city, so I followed it. But it was strange too, as running all the time I've never changed my position, and it looked like reality stretched itself to stop me. I was running until everything became black.

I regain vision on the road, in front my houses front yard. Suddenly I realised that I'm dreaming. Everything became dark again. I started to fly up from any danger, and tried to make everything bright again. I felt really light and I was floating up without any effort, but I couldn't move down or fly forward. Everything became brighter, taking colours from gray, to yellow and red.

Then the red colour disappeared. I was in that gas station, but it was moved inside a strange undrground complex. It looked like it was long abandoned, there was an ankle depth water that was slowly raising. I was lying in my bed. Suddenly I heard someone banging on the door on the upper floor. I looked up, and saw that drowners run into the room.

Still lying in my bed, I was surrounded by them. I looked closely to one of them - gray, rotting skin and sunken, bloody eyes. They were waiting for a move from my side. I told "I'm dreaming. You are not real." I tried to phase my hand through stomach of one them, but I couldn't do it. All I did was touch his dead, cold belly.

I decided to fight with them, and grabbed one of them by throat. Seeing that he can't die of suffocation, I just smashed his head until he stopped moving. The other one died the same way. The water was still raising, it was about knee depth. I moved out to a corridoor, and I was swarmed by zombies and drowners. It was hard to fight with them, so I ran around and tried to kill them one by one. For some reason I didn't have good dream control.

Suddenly I heard an alarm, and a huge floodgate opened. The water was flowing rapidly out of it. It was contaminated with blood, chunks of rotten flesh and vomit. It formed a disguting soup. I have almost panicked, running around a sealed, flooding complex infested with drowners and zombies.

I have lost lucidity and assumed a role of observer. A man entered the corridoor from upped sections of the complex. He was wearing a white jacket and jeans trousers. He was well built and had bright hair. His weapon was most interesting - a plasma gun. He quickly shot out all the drowners and zombies, then got to the control room.

Everything turned black, and then I saw a close up of the man's dead face. He had gray skin and sunken, bloody eyes. Then I saw that the floodgate has been closed. Next I floated up to the surface and then to the sky, watching a lake from the top view. Then I heard "There were only two survivors."
    14. Lucid dream, False Awakenings, Recurring Nightmares, and more...

      by , 11-20-2015 at 10:15 PM
This morning, I had a long LD with many false awakenings (I think 4), and with every false awakening I realized I was dreaming immediately .

There is a recurring nightmare that I've had many times before. The repeated pattern is that I feel something coming out of the the back of my neck and I can't stop it, and it is like at this moment I lose conscious or control. Usually I have a false awakening at this point in the non-lucid dream. The scene and feeling is like when a demon or so comes out of a possessed person in movies , a strong force coming out, and I can always watch it in a third person view.
This time I was aware I was dreaming and it was much more painful. I tried so hard to stop it from happening by thinking it was gone, but it kept happening. I also had false awakenings, and everytime I thought I woke up, and I found the same nightmare, I realized I was still dreaming. I was totally aware, and in control of my dream character except of what was happening in the back of my neck. Finally, I decided that just thinking it was gone, was not working, so I used a trick. I convinced myself it was just a pin or something like that stuck there, and I removed it with my hand. When I did this, the pain stopped , but the feeling of something coming out lasted a little longer, then eventually it stopped.

The dream was all in my family's apartment, so after that I went to the balcony, and decided to jump to fly. I was scared because I read somewhere if you believe it will hurt, it will. I decided to overcome my fear though. I tried the finger reality check to reassure myself that it was just a dream, and jumped. I landed slowly and nicely, but I didn't fly up.

Then I recall trying to fly down through the house and I think I did, but this part is foggy, and I think I had another false awakening then. I recall waking up in a different bed, and realizing I was still in the dream because I knew that wasn't my bed.

I also recall smelling a yellow flower because I read how things smell and feel great in the dream. It smelled nice, but I don't remember the smell now. I also recall looking at the sky expecting some beautiful scenery, and I saw a beautiful sky with colors in the horizon. The scene kept changing but I didn't choose to see anything in particular.

I met my family in the dream, but they ignored me at first like I was invisible. Then I decided to let them see me, and talked to them. They answered some questions I asked, then the dream faded and I woke up in reality.

That was my longest lucid dream. It is only my 5th overall anyway. I'm very happy that I overcame that silly nightmare at least once. I'm also happy I jumped from the 2nd floor for the first time. I still need to work on my my control and flying skills though. I'm also very happy that I became lucid after every false awakening, and that I didn't need to use spinning to stabilize my dream.

    15. Dry spell broken!

      by , 11-20-2015 at 03:06 PM
*I finally broke my dry spell by having a lucid (perhaps semi) dream this morning. My mother indirectly woke me up around 7 AM by opening my door, but I was hardly conscious. I was awake, I took notice of the fact that she opened my door, and naturally fell asleep within a few seconds. I realized I was dreaming, but not too keen on how I initially became lucid; I don't remember a reality check. Unfortunately, I'm still working on my dream recall so I don't remember the entire lucid dream in high definition 1080p.

"I become instantly aware that I'm dreaming and I am in some type of building. I see a bunch of shelves with glass objects on it, so I walk over and smash one against the ground. I see a message that says "warning one". I then see the person who owns the small kiosk of objects, who is actually a teacher from my High School. I suddenly feel like I'm wasting my time so I go up to a DC, can't remember who he was besides they were tall, and had short hair. I told him, "We're going on an adventure." and he became very excited, and we high fived. We then see a bunch of doors into houses, and we walk over. I point at a door and tell him to go in that one, and I picked one for myself. (I've always loved the ideas of walking through mysterious doors in dreams, just to find out what is behind them.) But before opening the door, I decide to do one thing for more adventure. I look straight up to the ceiling away from any DC and yell "Hey dream!" and before I could make a request, a tall white guy with bleach blonde hair (straight across bangs, kind of like Shinji if you're a Bleach fan), and a big puffy furry black coat walks in and yells "WHAT!" in a very sassy way, as if I had been bothering him. I then lose the dream and wake up."

*The last bit of asking the dream is mostly influenced by my reading over Robert Waggoner's The Gateway to The Inner Self book recently and I really wanted to give it a chance.
