    1. Small dream control training

by , 12-30-2014 at 11:45 PM (My Lucid Dreams)
So I am (was?) dryspelled for a very long time, so I felt like it would help me if I wrote this Lucid Dream down, even though it hasn't got that much interest to it.

      Lucidity: 6/10
      Control: 6/10
      Vivacity: 7/10

I'm lucid on... a rooftop? I'm not exactly sure where I am, but there is a clear view of the sky, obscured only at my right by a fir forest. I remember that I want to try to dreamshare again.
      Alright but first...
I want to try a new fighting dream control technique. Rather, I want to test out a though that I have: that visualizations and reveries are much more similar to a dream than I used to think.
This would mean that we can get similar benefits with daydreaming/vivid visualizations as with dreams. Which, now that I think about it, is called hypnosis . I practiced the dream control technique that I'm about to try with almost just visualizations (focused on the sensations), so if I'm able to recreate it in a dream, it would mean that my "theory" is right.
LOL I know this makes no sense at all put like that... it's hard to explain in a way that would make sense so just consider it given
Anyways. I'm standing on this rooftop (?) and I focus on a "sensation of energy" in my right arm. I also focus on the same sensation in the air around my hand. As when I do it in real life, I have a lot of trouble creating and maintaining both sensations simultaneously, it takes me a lot of time. I let the sensations die out.
This is taking too much time to be useful in a fight.
I remember a time control technique that I saw in fate/zero (it's an anime ).
I mentally recite the usual words with a thick, unwanted and fake Japanese accent.
      Time alter... triple axel!
I sort of feel time slowing down around me, and I focus on the sensations again. When I get a good hold of them both, I rush them towards each other and they bounce back, creating a ball of "electricity". Satisfied, I relax my hand and let the ball die.
      Oh, right. Dreamsharing!

... I don't remember anything after that. I think I lost my lucidity.

    2. Lucid Laboratory & Brothel (SSILD)

      by , 12-30-2014 at 09:07 PM
[Fell asleep while attempting a SSILD - I remember very vague images and themes from a dream I went into for a while, as well as a false awakening, before gaining lucidicity]

I think - I'm dreaming again. The walls and floors around me are pure white - I know this is a lucid laboratory. For a while the task I've been given by the scientists is to walk through a corridor in a loop to gain stability - I wander how long I will be made to do this...

Time fast forwards, and finally I am allowed to stop walking and the dream is fully stable. A girl comes to take me out of the lab - she announces this in the microphone in a formal fashion, which I hear amplified through speakers in the corridors after a slight delay from hearing her actual voice beside me. She tells me to follow her - I am very eager to leave so I try to run ahead, but she tells me if I'm ahead of her then I could get cancer from her boobs. So I go behind her and touch her boobs from behind (yeah, a bit creepy, but it's a dream right?) which she doesn't mind me doing. At some point during the next paragraph I touched them again but this time she was really pissed off so I didn't even think about doing it again.

She takes me through some kind of obstacle course - jumping, swinging, weightlifting... I am worried about the weights though as I did a fairly hard workout the evening before and didn't want to risk injuring myself by working out in the dream as well...... So I skipped the weights and walked onward to find a shop.

The shop sold all kinds of sweets and crisps - I could clearly see a few packets of Pringles, and get quite excited about the opportunity to shop and see what these dream sweets are like. I tell the shopkeeper that she can add anything to my tab and I'll pay it when I'm done. I take the first sweet I see and eat it, but it's not very tasty Before I get to try another one I spill something on the floor right in front of the shopkeeper. I decide it's best I don't deal with this, so I make my escape to the nearest door, hoping no-one will follow me. As I reach the door I am wandering where it should lead to... I decide it should be a brothel, as I've been curious to see what that's like.

I walk through the first door and, as I'd hoped, noone followed me. I find myself in some kind of small preparatory passage to the second door, which is slightly ajar and through which I can see fancy looking armchairs and dim lighting - I feel certain I will walk into a brothel when I walk through this door, and indeed I do - I glimpse some girls sitting on the armchairs, and one seriously hot babe walks past me. I touch her on the arm and ask "how are you?" then feel like that was a really stupid thing to say to her. When I look around, there are lots of dudes with their shirts off which I'm not so keen on... I would've liked to explore a bit further and try to get rid of the dudes, but woke up before I got the chance.

    4. Space Shuttle 'Landing', School Presentation

by , 12-30-2014 at 03:24 PM (Lucid Time!)
I was in my old high school. There was some dream-logicy explanation for this, we were taking our 'Final Final' Exams. I was trying to remember what order my classes were in from high school. (Don't feel bad, even IWL I can't figure out the order.)

I remember walking around. I saw blurry, incorrect and sometimes downright hilarious interpretations of all of my old teachers from high school.

I remember going to this one class in G wing where we were having a pizza party and people were giving presentations for their final exams. The class room had card tables rather than desks. I had a couple slices of pizza and some lemonade, and it was time for the presentation to start. The odd part was that a younger version of yourself had to give a presentation that the older version of yourself had written.

So there was a younger version of me in the classroom. Based upon height/hairstyle I would guess this was myself from late elementary school.

I think I recall some detail that this actually wasn't me from the past. It was an elementary school student who had looked me up as part of his project where he had to imitate a high school student as closely as possible. It was part of their end of the project.

I recall him having a shark tooth necklace like the one I used to wear in late elementary school.

I freaked out for a minute because I didn't have my presentation but after I looked in my backpack I found a couple sheets of typed paper. I handed that to my past self and he started presenting. I can't recall any of what he said, but the teacher seemed to like it and was smiling.

      ...

I somehow wound up outside the school, but the school was floating in space and the exterior was covered in gray metal paneling. Running down the side of the building were hundreds of these little experiment canisters that I had to open. When I opened them, a prompt would come up saying. 'You feel like you had better not let anyone else see this data...'

Also, I wasn't wearing a space suit and questioned how I was not dead/dying in the vacuum of space. There wasn't really an explanation for it.

As I was opening them a green bar was filling up. When it got to the top (after opening about a dozen of the canisters) a space shuttle appeared and I found myself in the pilot's seat.

I somehow knew that I was descending and I strapped myself in to the chair. I started to hit the atmosphere and the space shuttle heated up. I wish I recalled this part better. I was coming down over a cloudy patch and I wouldn't know what I was going to see until after I got through the clouds.

I then saw that it was a road not too far outside of my hometown. I somehow managed to get the landing gear down, and when I touched down on the road actually rather smoothly. But I couldn't figure out how to stop. Plus there were a bunch of cars on the road and I was running them over.

I started to get lucid at this point, because even though I was probably killing dozens of people, I didn't really feel like that mattered. Eventually the landing gear broke off, and the shuttle started sliding down the road on its belly. It eventually came to a stop, but I had no idea where I was. Some subdivision with large trees and small houses, but I didn't recognize it from anywhere in my hometown.

I opened the hatch and hopped down onto the street. I was lucid now, but I got the dream ending feeling. I tried to hang on with a little dream stabilization, but I didn't get much time before waking up.

    5. Chain of non-lucids and DILDs

      by , 12-30-2014 at 10:44 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      Crisis and sleeping in wardrobe

I was in my home. It was during the great crisis. Government have sent a message to citizens, that there can be no more than three persons in home. My family told me to hide in the wardrobe, and they won't find me there. I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. My youngr sister came. She tried to hide with me, but I told her to get lost. She went to mother, and told her that I'm drunk and rude. Mother came to me. I told her that I'm not drunk. She told me that government overcame the crisis, and I can sleep in my bed again.

      DILD - the friendly wolf

I was outside my home, tidying our barn. Then I saw a wolf. It was angry, and barked at me.
I become lucid, and started whistling to the wolf. Then I told Why are you so aggresive? Confused wolf replied I am a wolf! What I'm supposed to do? I told Of course you are a wolf.... The wolf attacked me before I fully replied. Then I shouted You are a wolf, but kind and polite one! The wolf stopped barking, or trying to bite me. It replied Oh, I'm sorry about that, friend.
I wanted to go somewhere with my new friend, but I lost my lucidity, and another non-lucid dream started.

      Detective haunted by nightmares

It was in 1923. I was a private detective. I drove to the great metropoly by train. I went out of train. My client told me to search for some bodies in the sewers. I wanted to go to the city instead. I walked from the train station pavement to the cobbled road. Suddenly I heard moaning and screams. I went on, a little frightened by the voices. Then I heard a gravely voice telling me Go straight that way.. I have moved back, but I overcame fear and went on. I felt stron pain in my chest, and my body was more and more numb. Then, I have reached a chapel, and all the voices ended.

DILD - being a security camera

I was back in primary school. I made an RC and become lucid. I saw a security camera hanging from the ceiling. I went to it, jumped and hanged from it. I pushed myself into the camera, and become one with it. I sensed someone close. I turned right, and saw a confused man looking at me. While turning, I felt like my whole body was streched. I haven't seen any camera effects while being one, my vision was the same all the time. I tried to stop being a camera. At first I couldn't change back, but I focused and went out.
I went straight the corridor, and lost lucidity. I woke up.
    6. 12/15/2014 - "Once the Sun Goes Down"

by , 12-30-2014 at 04:14 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      12/15/2014
      "Once the Sun Goes Down..."
      (Lucid)

I was in a supernatural town, where everything apparently goes ape-shit, after dark. (Think 'Silent Hill''.) People turn into zombies; monsters come out to prowl - the whole nine.

My first experience with this town was absolute horror. Everyone around was sporadically transforming into Nightmare Creatures, and it seemed as if they were fixated on me. I was constantly on the run, with a new 'breed' of monster popping up around every other corner. I came to be sprinting through the high, balcony walkways of a massive castle when I was confronted by some sort of 'spinning wheel of death'. It radiated red and orange sparks and whizzed through the air like a large Frisbee, ricocheting off of the walls and stone surfaces as I ducked and dodged out of its way. Shortly after escaping this disc, I began to hear thunderous footsteps approaching me from behind. Something big was coming. I ran faster through the hall, trying to put as much distance between myself and those giant footsteps as I could.

      Then, the dream reset.

I don't know if I was eventually killed by something, or what, but the dream suddenly zapped me back to sundown, and to the very start of this town's hellish transformation. This time, though, I was aware fact that my experience had just started over, and that it wasn't simply Deja Vu. I realized that this was a dream! Again nightfall came, and again, the populace of this city turned to hideous, blood-thirsty monsters.

This time, though, I was able to tear through the beasts with little resistance, acting as a warrior god among these now-harmless hordes. Utilizing mostly telekinesis and simple energy blasts from my hands, and following pretty much the same path as I had previously taken through this world, I was soon back up in the castle, confidently (and whimsically) fighting my way through the hallways and back onto the balcony. Just as before, I saw the 'spinning wheel of death', however, this time, it was inactive. It looked to be just a rickety, old sewing wheel with blades set around it, propped up against the balcony, but it lacked the glowing, rotating element of 'surefire death' that it had, the last time I saw it.

Then, those booming footsteps returned, just as before. Instead of running, though, I turned back to face their origin, surprised to see Thanos, of all people, stomping his way toward me. Even while lucid, I hesitated to rush at my mental projection of an advancing Thanos, so I took a flying leap off of the balcony and dove all the way down to the ground level. The titan followed suit and landed directly behind me. We then began a sort of cat-and-mouse down the side of the mountain upon which the castle rested. Even though I was lucid, I was admittedly on the defensive, but I was doing a good job of blocking and dodging his rushing attacks as he pursued me down the mountainside.

The chase was the last thing I remember.
    7. 12/08/2014 - "Social Slug"

by , 12-30-2014 at 03:32 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      12-08-2014
      "Social Slug"
      (Lucid)

I was swimming in a lake or pond, and I could see a large, unfamiliar creature nearby. I couldn't get a good look, at first, but finally saw that it was a long-face creature that, aside from its exaggerated snout, looked like a big, green manatee with triangular, spinal protrusions on its back. It was very docile and social, swimming around idly and playing with everyone. Overall, it was about the size of a full-grown hippo; large enough to come from beneath someone and toss them in the air, playfull, and into the water. We were all having a great time with it. Over time, though, we could see it becoming more and more 'clingy'. It didn't want to let anyone swim away, or take their attention from it. It would follow as all relentlessly, until we managed to slip away.

Later, still hanging out in a wooded / park area (it seemed like a campground or something), we did some level of research on this thing; on our phones, I believe, and saw that it was some kind of mutated sea slug or something. We eventually found another, smaller version of the slug. This one was much more lively, and running and from person to person and trying to get everyone to pet it. Then, even more surprisingly, the zippy little slug revealed that it had the ability to speak. I believed the thing to be alien (and I think, at one point, it told me it was, but I'm not sure on that one).

We played with this little guy for a little while longer, and over the course of this time, the slug continued to talk about him and his kind - about how they grow to be such 'loving' creatures. I said the other slug was more "clingy" than "loving". This little one said that he was much different. And, for a moment, it seemed like he was. But..then it was time to leave.

He began following us. We would look back and gesture and hint that it was time for us to be parting ways. He was having none of it, and would faithfully follow every step we took, continuing to banter on like our visit had just begun. Once we got to our canoe, though, his entire behavior change. He became manic and aggressive, demanding that was stay and starting to scamper around, enraged. By the time we got about a dozen feet from the dock, the slug shot into the air and then dive-bombed our canoe, bouncing around it like a ricocheting bullet and capsizing it, dumping us into the water.

Finally, soaking wet and chest deep in this water, I realized that this was all a dream. Instead of swimming, I attempted to levitate myself out of the water, but the dream quickly unraveled, here, and I woke up.

    8. The Most Beautiful Starlit Night Ever

      by , 12-29-2014 at 08:41 PM
This dream happened Dec 26, 2014 while I was staying at my father in-law’s house way out in the wilderness. I was between lucid dreams, consciously awake, but my body was asleep. I heard somebody talking in my room, and I figured it must be wife. Then I felt very mild vibrations in my torso propagating out to my limbs. I waited patiently for ‘the vibrations’ to increase in intensity and magnitude, so I could do an OBE, but it wasn’t happening. I decided to try an OBE exit anyway, and to my surprise, I popped right out of my body and stood beside my bed. I couldn’t see anything because my blanket was still over my face. I decided to ask for assistance to remove the blanket from my face, “I can’t see, please help me.” Now something new happened that I have never experienced before; as I spoke, my body beside me spoke instead, and it was lagging behind what I was saying by a fraction of a second. My voice also sounded hollow and distant. I repeated my request for help and the exact same thing happened again! My body was saying what I was saying, so I guess I was talking in my sleep. The weirdest part about this was the lag time from when I spoke in my OBE to when my body spoke. Maybe this could be one of the reasons why people talk in their sleep? Anyway, back to the dream (OBE), or whatever you want to call it.

I still couldn’t see anything, so I resorted to ripping the blanket from my face piece by piece until all was clear. It was very dark in the bedroom, and I headed for the door. I carefully opened it so as to not make any noise because everybody was asleep. Click, the door opened, and I walked out into the hallway. My wife was sleeping in the adjacent room (away from me and my CPAP machine), and I wanted to go and see her, but a golden shaft appeared in front of the door and blocked me from opening the door, so I headed downstairs. I didn’t want to go into the living room, because my father in-law’s bedroom is right there, and I was concerned about waking him, so I decided to go outside into the cold of winter, but there was one problem, I only had my gitch on. I figured, well, you can freeze when you’re lucid, right? I opened the door carefully so as not to make any noise, and then the screen door. Well, holy crap, it was cold out there. I could feel the cold air passing right through me, and into my lungs, and I instantly became very cold. It was like jumping into snow naked. I stepped outside and closed the doors, and I slowly warmed up to where I was comfortable. The snow sparkled and glittered. This is when I saw the most amazing thing.

There were no clouds in the sky, and all I could see were beautiful, brilliant stars everywhere. I’m talking 100 times more than what you normally see, and a 100 times as bright. The night sky around the stars was perfectly black. It was like a super HD IMAX experience. I was speechless as I simply stared up into the night’s amazing sky. It was like I had Hubble telescope vision. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. Then some white fireworks went off in the distance. I decide to fly up into space and take a closer look at these beautiful stars, but as I launched, I was knocked back to the ground by some mysterious force. I looked up to see what I hit, and all I could see was the overhead power line going to my father in-law’s house, so I moved over about 20 feet and tried again. On the 2nd attempt to fly, I didn’t even get off the ground. So I decided to go for a walk, but then I woke up in bed. Strangely, I was getting intermittent cold shivers in bed, for about 10 minutes afterwards, even though I wasn’t cold. This description really doesn’t do justice for what I experienced; it was nothing short of magical.

    9. Nooo!

by , 12-29-2014 at 11:37 AM (Lucid Time!)
I had a lucid dream last night, but I lost it. It was early in the night, and I woke up and fell back asleep a bunch of times and forgot what it was about. I even remember thinking about it, it was a long one, too.

You know what it feels like. It feels like taking a test and getting everything right, then when you go to copy your answers into the bubble sheet you skip the first one and the whole thing is shifted down by one so every answer is wrong.

It is now 5:30am. For some reason I am up and at e'm.

I'm thinking my new year's resolution might be centered around more consistent LD attempts. Something like a bedtime of 10:00pm every night. Or require myself to do half an hour of daily meditation. To be honest, my energy would probably be a lot better spent if applied consistently. Last week I paid no mind to LDing and these past two days I've put in a lot of effort in comparison.

Of course whenever I do get on a roll with consistent practice I get one of those week-long mini dryspells that is just long enough to completely demotivate me.

    10. 12/25: Train in the Mountains

      by , 12-29-2014 at 07:32 AM (The Kestrel's Dreams)
Mostly random and not so significant dreams until Christmas morning really. There was one where I had to write an essay for a class and we had to attach stickers to the story. Mine was about the Rugrats. In another dream my field instructor gave me a sort of shoe-lace necklace as a reward for doing something quite mischievous. In another I was involved in a love triangle between my teacher on whom I had a crush and a classmate who loved me for realz and whom I eventually came to love as well (the teacher ended up being a real creep)

Anywas. Back logging some dreams from the last week or so.

      December 25, 2015

I was on a train with my family... I had put my necklace (it's got three different platypus on it) in a stocking that was hung in a corner of a restaurant in one of the cars. I can't find it later when I go to look for it, and panic a bit. And then I realize I've missed my stop, so I get off at the next one and end up walking along a mountain ridge. It turned out I hadn't missed my stop, I'd gotten off a few stops too early. So I was trying to beat the train so I could get back on it at the next stop.

I met some hikers on the mountain ridge; as I was going down, they were going up. The whole mountain scene was pretty surreal. I was hopping down with ease and not seeming to be at all worried about long drops and steep slopes. I found the tracks at the bottom of the slopes, and followed them until I heard the train behind me. I stood aside and let it go by me, but grabbed onto a handle before it was gone, swinging up and into the car.

Now that I'm back on the train, I frantically try to find my necklace (and apparently my class ring was also in the stocking) again. I remember distinctly hoping that I was dreaming, so that when I woke up I would still have all my things. I went to talk to the owner of the restaurant I had hidden my necklace in, but she won't let me see the stockings they'd hung so that I could check to see if my things were still in any of them. I started crying, but the owner wasn't doing anything, and so I left, very sad and angry at her.

I found the head honcho of this train world, and talked to her. SHE said I could go to the storage area and see if my necklace and ring are there. She even appointed someone to help me look.

As I am walking to the storage car, I have an inkling that I am indeed dreaming, and I enter a very calm state, happy in the knowledge that my precious things aren't actually lost. It wasn't quite lucidity, but in a way it was lucid. It's a bit hard to describe. It was like I was lucid, but didn't even try to change the dream at all. I just sorta went with it and accepted what ever happened, not exerting any dream control at all. I guess it could be like watching a movie. I was aware, but I just wanted to watch, and so my awareness took a passive viewer's stance.

I wander the upper level of one of the cars; it was oriental-ish. Lots of red and dragons and paper lanterns. I realized I still had my ring and necklace, so I was in the past few hours, just before I lost them. I was trying to make sure I didn't lose them this time.

But then this guy in there, and he ends up blasting my little brother's nipples off with a phaser of some sort. I chase the bitch down and threw him off the train forcefully.

    11. Stabbing a Butcher Knife Right Through my Hand

      by , 12-29-2014 at 03:16 AM
In this dream, I was being chased by dream figures on top of 40 foot high shelving unit in a warehouse. I had no idea how I got up there, or even why they were chasing me, I just knew I had to get away somehow. Soon I was trapped at the end of a shelving unit with nowhere to go, except down, way down. The concrete floor was 40 feet below, and they were closing in. I was scared to death about jumping, and I knew they were going to push me off as soon as they reached me. Several more dream figures stood on top of another shelving unit across an opening area, and they were simply watching with interest.

Then for no particular reason at all, I became lucid (This often happens to me). Defense was the first thing that came to mind, so a 10 inch butcher blade appeared in my right hand. The pursuers stopped dead in their tracks, time stopped, and then I remembered my conviction for no violence. I held out my left hand and drove the knife right through the top of it and I let go of the handle, and then I raised my stabbed hand to show the pursuers what I’d done. I didn’t feel a thing except for slight pressure. Whispering voices echoed through the warehouse from horrified onlookers, eyes opened wide, mouths a gasp, and then somebody said, “Gross, I can’t believe he did that!” (Just between you and me, I couldn’t believe what I’d done either). Then I pulled the knife out of my hand and the wound healed instantly (except for a slight mark on one side). I said, “See, you can’t hurt me, I’m dreaming!”

In an effort to further make my point; I tipped the section of shelving over, which I was standing on, and I fell quickly towards the ground. My stomach dropped through the roof of my throat as I fell, and I was actually very scared (even though I was lucid), but I was determined to hit the ground without waking up. I fell 40 feet and landed flat on my face, and then the shelving unit landed on top of my back. Again, no pain! In complete stupidity, I said, “See, I didn’t feel a thing!” The dream figures all started to laugh and giggle, as I wormed and squirmed, to try and get out from under the collapsed shelving unit. Then something quite unexpected happened, 5 or 6 dream figures started to jump off the shelving units, from 40 feet up, just like I did! I couldn’t believe it; they were doing belly flops onto the concrete floor! They were lying on the ground, uninjured, rolling around, and laughing hysterically. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I then woke up.

I strongly recommend stabbing a knife through your hand sometime in a lucid dream. It really quite the experience!

    12. "Toilet Summon" and "Observing the Grocery Store"

      by , 12-28-2014 at 09:16 PM (Threecat's Dreamtime)
5:38 AM: 2 hour WBTB (ungh, accidental). Then I am sitting in a car, parked beside a building. I am deciding on something, maybe radio stations. It occurs to me that I might be dreaming, but I brush it off--a thought that arises, but then gets subsumed again before I have a chance to really address it. I think about driving somewhere, then realize I have been sitting in the car for sometime. I get out and go inside the building. As I am walking in, remember I wanted to LD and am pretty sure this is a dream right now. I nose pinch and can breathe.

I decide to spin to stabilize. Dream blacks out (as spinning usually causes this for me). I continue walking down the hallway, visualize the scene I was just in. It slowly returns. I enter some doorways, and quickly become disoriented--there are doors and hallways all over the place. No big deal--it's a dream. I can't get lost. I jump up and touch the ceiling, testing gravity. Keep walking, and find myself in a restroom. I recognize this as "dream locale"--I often dream about public toilets In one stall, there is no urinal. I decide to test summoning. I visualize a urinal, look around the side of the stall, and then back. Peekaboo--no urinal. C'mon, now . . . . I think, and try a few more times. Finally, a urinal appears. Cool. I try to do something else with the urinal (don't remember exactly what) but when I look again, there is some pipe extending out of the wall and emptying into the toilet. I spin again and the dream fades. I reappear in the restroom. I
wake up. Try to DEILD, but nothing.

Lay in bed for approximately an hour. Just try to drift off normally, with the intent to be lucid and observe the dream state. I am at a grocery store. I'm outside, digging through a bin of marshmallow products. I eat something (maybe a single, unwrapped marshmallow) and then begin examining labels to see which marshmallows have vegan ingredients. I recognize the brand of one as not vegan. I also see some cookies sandwiches with marshmallow in the middle. These are probably not vegan, I reason. The fact that they are unwrapped strikes me as odd, but not terribly so. I start to go inside the grocery store. Some fast-paced techno music is playing. I remember I am at a grocery store (a dream sign of mine), so it would be a good idea to nose pinch. I do. I'm awake. I think that I should be a little more thorough, however, and pinch about seven or eight more times. Little by little, I feel like I can breathe, Until I can breathe. I CAN BREATHE.

I begin stripping off my jacket because I feel hot (think this was some residue from the original dream plot). Inside, techno is louder. I'm no longer in a grocery store, but an office building with multicolored, vibrantly-glowing cubicles (reds, greens, and blues I remember). In one of them, as I approach, a stickman in shirt and tie is mirroring my movements exactly. I almost run to interact but then remember I wanted to take it easy, and just observe. I take in the visual details of this place, turning around. Above me, there are men in suits walking around on a higher floor. I think to fly up there, but no, seriously, just observe. As I watch, the landscape becomes more malleable. The distance in height is shortening and shortening--but this is more of a perspective thing: almost as if I looked and judged incorrectly the distance before, and my "eyes" are slowly correcting the error. Interesting. I hear wife's alarm
and wake up. Try for a DEILD, but no.

    13. My phone delivers Lucidity

by , 12-28-2014 at 09:09 PM (One Up Seeker)
Ok, so for this dream, my recall isn't the best because I haven't recorded any dreams for a few days, nevertheless:

      1. I was in school. I was sitting in a chair in a portable classroom, and I noticed that in this classroom the lights were really bright. Before class started, I saw a girl I knew, Gabby, walk in. She walked past my desk and as she did I got her attention, but she recoiled as though she hated me or something. I looked at her as she sat down because she usually wasn't like this. As I got a better look at her I realized that she looked alot different, and a part of me became semi-lucid because of this. Her skin tone was now alot more white than it used to be, and she was wearing clothes that I had never seen her wear before, specifically a red and black dress.
Somehow, something inside of me told me to leave the classroom, so I got up and left. Once I got out of the portable, I immediately noticed that it was raining outside. I walked through the rain into the main school building. Once I got inside, I pulled out my phone and got on it. I remember not caring if the teachers saw me with my phone out. Suddenly, I got a feeling that I needed to be in my next class, and I have no idea why. I started jogging to get to my next class. As I was doing so, I came around a specific corner, and as I did my phone slipped out of my right hand and flew 10 feet into the air, and 30 feet away from me.
I watched in horror as it went up into the air and then came back down and smashed into the ground, and then it bounced up and hit the ground multiple times again. I ran to get my phone, and as I got to it I noticed that its case had flown off, but I also noticed that my phone looked a little different than usual. My phone looked like it was longer in length than normal, and a fall doesn't make your phone longer. As a result of my awareness, I became semi-lucid once again. I picked up my phone and I was praying that the screen wasn't cracked. To my dismay, the entire screen was basically shattered and as I turned my phone over to see just how bad the damage seemed, my phone broke in half in my hands. The other 3 or 4 people around me that had come over to help said that they felt sorry for me.
I picked up all the parts of my phone, and I noticed that as my phone did break in half, a USB fell out of it. I knew that I probably wasn't going to get a phone anytime soon, because this was the second time I had broken my phone in less than a year. How would I text all my friends anymore, or even contact them? How will I get on Snapchat or Instagram anymore? I couldn't.
I don't remember how, but I got home later in the dream, and as I got home I walked into the living room. The lights were off in the living room, so everything was rather dark. I walked in front of the t.v. and started slowly telling my parents what had happened. I finally got to the point where I told them my phone broke, and my dad got really pissed. "You what?!" he yelled. Only seconds later I forget who, but either I became Lucid and remembered that it was all okay and my phone didn't really break because this was a dream, or my dad told me that my phone didn't break because it was just a dream. Either way, I still became lucid as a result of my awareness kicking in.
I then remember leaving the living room and going into some kind of city. I had a specific purpose in this Lucid Dream, to find a certain girl. Once I got into this city, I started walking around. It was night time but the city was still alive and full of energy, so it didn't seem like it. Lights were everywhere. I walked around a corner and a small apartment caught my eye. "She'll be in here" I told myself to create an expectation. I walked into the apartment and started looking around. The walls were yellow, the floor was covered in hardwood flooring, and there were paintings in each room. There were many objects lying around that made this apartment quite unique.
Suddenly a group of people walked in through the front door, specifically a family. They immediately noticed me. One of the little kids from this family, a little boy, started running at me. I didn't want to get distracted to what I was originally planning to do, so I ran away from the little boy and jumped out of the apartment through a small window. As I did so, I landed on the ground outside in what was probably their backyard. There was no grass though, it was just a small concrete area with an odd yellow metal fence. I looked to my left as I got up off the ground, and I saw my teacher Ms. Bernstein talking to what looked like, another teacher that was around her age.
"Hey Cory! What are you doing in my backyard?" She asked. "Oh, well actually I was just trying to get out." A yellow fence was now directly in front of me, blocking my path. "Ms. Bernstein, do you mind if I jump over your fence?" I asked. "Sure" she said, "Go ahead." With that I then jumped over her fence, but as soon as I did I found myself now stuck in between two fences. I was trapped. The room between these two fences was so small, that I couldn't really move at all. I couldn't get any room to get a good jump or climb over or anything. At this point I started thinking to much about how I was going to get out of here. Such a simple fix, but it didn't occur to me to just destroy the fence or anything else since I was taking a way more peaceful approach in this Lucid Dream.
Because I thought to much about it, I ended up waking up.

    14. Backlog, 12/26: "Drive with Wife," "Silhouette Goblins," and "A Lawnmower Car"

      by , 12-28-2014 at 08:53 PM (Threecat's Dreamtime)
5:55 AM: Close to lucidity a few times (in high school again, both with people my own age and people who are not). Finally, I am driving with my wife. Not sure how, but enough weird stuff occurs that I nose pinch. I am nose pinching, and about to say that it is not a dream, when I realize I can actually breathe. I look at my wife and say, "I can breathe!" She smiles and is RCing as well. I am still not sure. Jokingly, I say, "I am going to do one more RC." I then open the car door as we are speeding along. "If this is a dream, I can jump out and be OK." She doesn't say anything. I look at my hands. They are a little off, but otherwise normal. I look away and look back several times. Finally, I only have two fingers, and one of them is twisted up like an ugly tree root.

"I've only got two fingers!" I say to my wife in a "this is ridiculous" tone of voice. "This is a dream." I then jump out of the car. I glide to a stop, as though the car was never moving at all. My wife gets out of the car too. We are in a wooded area, and there is a dirt cliff high above us. My wife easily flies up to this spot. I decide to follow, but can't fly after her. I begin practicing what I had told myself in WL: I'm flying, I think, I'm flying! It doesn't work, though, so I jump and start climbing up the dirt cliff. My wife extends her hand down to me to help me up. I
      wake up and then DEILD.

I roll left (not normal) and fall through space. I am in darkness for a bit, but then "open my dream eyes." I am falling through some cavernous area, with Egyptian iconography. I see a sign that looks like an advertisement for the Discovery channel. I finally land in what I think was a ruin of sorts.

I sense the gravity is low here. I moon jump through the house. Fun! I notice the house becoming more "house-like" and less ruin-like. In the bathroom, I look around the shower curtain to see who is there. Nobody. I look away and look back, expecting a beautiful woman to be there. Surprise! No, she is not there. I try this a couple of times, to no effect. I then see some shadows in the soap dish. The shadows begin to form into little silhouettes of goblins. I begin interacting with them, and begin to pretend to be mean. They respond by swinging little weapons around (I remember one swinging a tiny flail). I remember to give them positive energy. They really seem to hate it, as they begin screaming. I tickle them and they start dying. I
      wake up.

MILD for a few minutes then return to sleep. I am driving along a mountain path and listening to a rock song. I think to myself how this singer has a melodious voice, when I suddenly wonder if this is real or not. I nose pinch but find it difficult to breathe. I stop the car by putting my feet down and lifting the main wheel up. I then look out over a cliff at the town below. I think of how I would love to jump from here, if I could just be sure I was dreaming. I sense for my WL body.Hey, there it is! but unfortunately I wake up.
    15. Pink Barrier/Waffle Rage

      by , 12-28-2014 at 08:30 PM
      Pink Barrier

Inside a subway with a floating platform, flying trains and a huge area of space where all of this could fit I was waiting for the train to arrive and when it arrived it was so fast that i fell to the ground.I looked at the train and it looked like it was designed like a ginger bread cookie. I thought about how i could get inside the decorated train but saw no way into it and decided to wait for the next.

After waiting a bit the dream shifted. I was now in my house. I was inside a room and someone was talking to me as they held onto me. I got the impression that the thing holding onto me was Chuckie in the dream. It kept giving me orders as if the situation was now a life and death game where I had to comply.
All of this was obviously a dream so i decided to just sit down and wait for it to disappear.Which it did.

The scene than changed again and now i was watching a episode of the Simpsons with my dad. The characters in the show were slowly disappearing and apparently were all becoming angels and going to heavens. It ended thankfully but than the talking doll came back. My dad hit the doll and told me to follow him upstairs. I followed him up into my room and the doll followed. But it changed into a creepy floating zombie girl.

My dad was fighting it in my room and i wanted to help him out. I thought about how pink was my favorite color and how funny it was that others saw it as a astral parasite repellent. I used the pink barrier to protect Kiro in a old dream and decided to use it to protect my dad."Dad! Should i use the pink barrier move?" I asked. "Yeah! Hurry up and use it!" said my dad. I used both my hands to put my dad around the barrier and the girl screamed. It was like defeating a boss in a video game. My dad was attacking and i was protecting.

When the girl was defeated she disappeared and so did my dad. The pink barrier was still present but when i tried to put it away it burst into tiny pink flames around the room. It changed from pink to blue than pink again.I thought about how pretty the flames danced on the floor and than the dream shifted. I was now sitting on my bed with my nephew and older sister. She offered me a yellow frosted slice of pie. I ate it and said it was the best cake pie ever. My nephew laughed and said it wasn't cake even though it sort of looked like a cake mixed with a pie. After that my nephew changed into a baby and my sister was going to change his diaper. Than i woke up.

      Waffle Rage

Since I was tired of my cousin waking me up just so she could continue with her waffle addiction I shouted at her. She was eating my waffles again and they were almost finished. My parents were in the living room and told me that i needed to calm down. I didn't want to calm down though and hit her. She tried hitting me back and as we fought i realized there was a point where i felt overcome with the feeling of not being able to fight. Even the motion and moves i did said it was a dream.

I was happy with this and decided to use this as a way to get out my anger on my two cousins. I would have enjoyed it more if this was a shared dream and i could beat them up. I started fighting with the youngest cousin who was the one eating my waffles. I punched, kicked, tried to push her into the oven, and hit her with a stapler. As I started punching her again there was a point where she started punching quickly and said she was going to fight harder now. I lost the ability to fight at that point and was confused. I stopped for a bit and watched as she tried to punch. But she did not hit me.

I regained my strength again and kicked her into the air and started hitting her again until she disappeared. I was happy but than my brother walked downstairs with a plate of waffles. I was long gone. My rage skyrocketed. I ran downstairs and could feel the sensation that my cousins were in the room. I ran to the room and saw both cousins. The waffle monster was present. I slammed the waffles on her plate onto the floor with my hands than ran back upstairs laughing. The oldest cousin came upstairs into the living room because she wanted to fight for her sister. I was ready to fight that trader.

I started punching her and kicking her and managed to throw her off a bit. But than she started throwing punches at me. I couldn't move my right arm and i suddenly felt overcome with weakness. "Why is my right arm stuck to my back!? and how come this feeling keeps coming back?...My urge to fight is way stronger..." I thought. She laughed a bit and said her and her sister are leaving now.(The oldest already moved out and the youngest is leaving this week) As they were happily leaving i lunged at the oldest again. She pointed at me and started skipping an laughing. Than a upbeat country song of a lady started playing. I managed to push her on the porch but than the dream ended and i woke up.

Conclusion- I'm way better at fighting to protect and with love in dreams than with pure rage. :/ No more rage venting in dreams for me.
