Lucid Dreams
This was the second of the three LDs I had early Christmas morning. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #49: Turtles All the Way Down I'm sitting in a large classroom with a bunch of friends and coworkers. The teacher hasn't arrived, but it's all right -- we're seated at long desks that are covered with candy like turtles, caramels, M&M cookies, miniature pecan pies, Reese's... all kinds of goodies. Everyone is stuffing their face and having a great time. I suddenly have a false awakening into a small dormitory room with a cot. I feel like I'm late for something so I spring right up and walk out the door, emerging in the same classroom that I just left. Everyone is still feasting. I sit down next to my friend "Leroy" and tell him and several other friends and coworkers nearby that "You're not going to believe this, but I had a dream that this would happen. The classroom, the candy... everything!" Everyone seems happy to hear this and they plow into the turtles, caramels, and other goodies with even greater abandon. It suddenly occurs to me that this is also a dream, and I could keep "waking up" into this room of candy forever. I turn to Leroy and tell him that this is a lucid dream, inviting him to follow along. He eagerly hops up and we stride out into the hallway. I hesitate for a moment when I realize that I forgot to try any of the food, but decide to focus on getting outside. We get to a set of automatic doors and I imagine that outside these doors is the Great Pyramid. As I approach the doors, I catch sight of the Pyramid... it's just through the door, stretching so high that I can't see the top. But as the doors slide open, the Pyramid suddenly changes into just another generic city building. I feel a little surge of emotion but it dies out quickly. We keep going. Leroy and I turn right and continue down the street past some food carts. I see people from my past and I explain to M who they are and why they're appearing in the dream. "That girl across the street? That's JG. I went to middle school and high school with her but haven't seen her since graduation. I still run into her brother sometimes." Now JG's brother appears. "Oop, there he is." There's a stadium up ahead and to our left. I tell Leroy, "That's the stadium from when we were in school but it looks like I've placed it next to a side street like the one by my high school stadium." I turn to look at Leroy and see that he's trailing far behind, looking lost and unfocused. I realize that I'm not giving him much attention and it's probably time to cut him loose. It isn't long before he fades entirely from the scene. I reach a parking lot from which I think that I see the Pyramid on the far horizon. I leap up into the air and start floating but can't seem to get any forward momentum for flight. As I will myself to fly forward, a counterwind blows against me, and I totally lose my cool. It's only seconds before the dream collapses.

This was the first of three LDs from early Christmas morning. This was my first time directly experiencing a creative work of my subconscious. I was grateful for the few minutes that I got, but I'd have enjoyed more. Some other night! Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #48: The Arcade of the Subconscious I am "in" a side-scrolling video game that's drawn in the style of a pencil sketch. My avatar is a small stick-figure man who runs, jumps, and shoots his way across a grassy landscape where boulders roll and hop all around, presenting a constant danger of smashing him flat. I dart back and forth as boulders bounce over my head when I randomly realize that this is all a dream. The dream stays perfectly stable and I am able to continue playing further into the game. I (or my stick figure man) shoot at a boulder that's rolling toward me and find that within four shots it bursts into harmless fragments. I continue running further along the track and all the while more and more boulders make their way onto the playfield. It's getting difficult to avoid them and I'm starting to feel pretty stressed by the difficulty. A new enemy presents itself, some sort of mole that tunnels underneath the floor where I'm walking and blasts a huge column of dirt up at me. It's a big distraction, and it's not long before a boulder strikes my player, knocking him horizontal (and presumably dead.) The game ends immediately and cuts to a title screen. Why can't I remember the title? I watch the title screen, hopeful that it'll let me continue playing. After a few seconds of this, the game switches to a demo mode where I am no longer in control. I'm contemplating what to do about this when the dream ends.

I seem to have lost my old DJ. Where did it go? And what is this? Oh well. I'm laying in bed looking out the window at the night sky. Huh! This seems like a good dream to try those monthly tasks out in. I fly out the window and up into the sky. Out of habit maybe, I fly around for a while just looking down on the sleeping, dark world, the horizon far below me. What was I supposed to do? I fly straight up at some speed while looking down toward the earth and sing Jingle Bells. I try to pay attention to the lyrics. Am I getting them right? I think so. There are lyrics there and they seem correct to my dreaming mind. I am self-aware that dreaming minds are deceptive. Who knows? I sing it well, very well on the non-chorus parts, making it artsy and professional. What were the other things? Aurora borealis... I wonder briefly if I should do all the tasks now or space them out in different dreams. I don't feel like I'll forget this dream yet and decide to proceed. I look around in the sky and find a spot of twisting green light in what I suppose is the north. I direct my attention to a different, dark part of the sky and try to make my own, with no success. A couple more times I try before I realize the problem. Making light where there is none is one of the hardest things for me to do, personally. When I try, I always have meager success if any. I'm flying around and landing on buildings as I do this and I keep coming across my recently deceased grandmother. There's something ineffably glowing and mystical about her. I come down into a large window opening of a roof-less, tall building. For the first time, I really notice her as she stands beside me. Could she be the one making the aurora borealis? "Grandma, are you...?" She gives me a sly smile and a small nod yes. "Show me how do do it! Grandma, will you show me?" She gets a serious look on her face and leans in close so our faces are almost touching. She says in a low voice as if it's a secret, and very seriously, "These things are not for you to know. These are not for you. This year the world will become what it is going to be!" I think: Whoa, cryptic! Gotta remember that one! But I just fly off to play with her auora borealis. In the sky I stretch my arms out wide, then narrow them as if to direct the glowing green to collapse in on itself. And it does. Aurora borealis gone. I stretch out my hands again and the sky explodes, not only with the green light from before but with orange and red and colorful planets. I collapse it again, and explode it again. I see what's going on here! Because there was already light there from my grandma's aurora borealis, that lets me create things of light in the same spot in my dreamscape. I play with it a while more, collapsing and filling the sky with light, rotating it. Then I decide it's time to find those ghosts of Christmas. Whatever they have to tell me should be interesting. I go to the ground and start wandering around. I walk into a well-lit cafe that has big open spaces leading to the outside. What walls it does have are made of glass. There is a man sitting there. He looks older with strange, yellowish eyes. "Are you the ghost of Christmas past, present for future?" I ask him. He shakes his head, no. I turn away but then look back at him. I often feel lonely in my dreams maybe he'll come with me. "Maybe you.." I start to say. "Maybe I can come with you?" he says smiling, reading my thoughts. And so we leave together. We enter a maze of hallways. I see a woman with long flowing hair that seems to defy gravity. "Are you the ghost of Christmas past, present, or future?" I ask. No, but she wants to tag along as well. DCs from all around as we wander take notice of us and some follow wanting to see how this turns out. Five to seven of them follow as I continue. I emerge from the hallways onto a balcony. I climb up onto the railing and hold my arms out to either side. I start to sing as I float up into the air. 2 of the DCs have climbed up on either side of me and grab onto me as my feet leave the rail wanting to fly up too. But their weight pulls me down. I try simply to slow our fall so they don't get hurt, but also notice that there's a pool on the level below us. We land in the pool and I reflect on my spontaneous singing and flying. Seems like I'm about to enter a stage of dreaming where I'm less in control and this might be the time to wake up or risk losing my memory of it all. I recollect on the dream so far and find that I can remember it; that's good. But it seems long and it's probably a good time to wake up solidify things into conscious memory. Details of dreams dreamed too long begin to vanish. I open my eyes.
Shenanigans and Skydiving (LUCID) [I don't remember how this dream began, but at the beginning of our tale I am lucid, I'm standing in my room near the exterior wall (with a window), and I've decided to go outside.] I consider crashing straight through the wall using a shoulder, but I think in this case something more elaborate would be safer. I back away from the wall, staring at it carefully. I'll try to use a fireball to blow it up, but in order for that to have even a chance of working, I need to have a pretty clear idea what I imagine it would look like. I concentrate on the wall, imagining it heating up. The colors start changing: the wall becomes red-tinted, or maybe purple. I thrust my hands at it, and the wall turns black and splits into triangles in an isometric pattern. As the triangles shrink and fade away, I charge through the wall. I realize the explosion wasn't very realistic, but at least I did get through. I start jogging down the road. I'm wearing clothes again [I took them off at some previous part of the dream], probably because the weird explosion made me lose concentration and the feeling of lying under the covers made me unconsciously feel like I should be clothed. So as I'm jogging, I take them off again. Since it's fairly early in the day, I pass only a few joggers going the other way, which is probably a good thing given my state of undress. There's a lot of construction on the road--so much that only a narrow path for joggers remains, going down the middle. I go down the path. At the other end, the path even narrows a bit more, just to make absolutely clear that no cars are allowed to go this way. There are three guys my age standing up there, waiting for some cars to pass. Once the cars are gone, two of them start pranking the other. I hang around for a few minutes in order to see what's going on, but then I decide that this could get ugly and I'd better get out of here. I turn around and go back the way I came, but not before I give the guys a thumbs-up to take the edge off of my departure. It occurs to me that I'm using that thumbs-up trick a lot in this dream. [I think I did it once before to my mom before I left the house.] Walking up the driveway to my house, I feel like I'm giving up on the dream, like all my adventures are over. I look over my shoulder at the clouds. They seem an awfully long way away, but I might as well take a risk and try something new! Putting my arms into Superman pose, I blast off. As the clouds approach, I wonder if they'll feel chilly or misty. And indeed they do, sort of. I fly through a few layers of clouds, looking around at the cumulus cloudscapes. Experimentally, I blow some air at the cloud I'm flying through, and indeed it seems to thin a bit in the place I'm aiming the air. Then I decide that's enough of that, and I start falling back towards the ground. At first I try a cannonball shape, then I try pretending to dive headfirst, but then I decide to adopt a spread-limbed pose as if I'm skydiving. Unfortunately, the ground is already approaching very quickly. Just a few seconds later, I reach behind me and mime pulling a parachute cord. It works, but I'm still going too fast. It looks like I will land in my front yard. Spying a tall tree, I shoot a grappling hook from my right wrist. It tangles in the branches. Then I shoot another from my left wrist, sort of jerking my arm sideways so that the hook swings around another tree trunk like a tetherball. Increasing the tension on both arms simultaneously, I'm able to slow myself almost to a stop, hanging a foot above the lawn. Then I drop the rest of the way, attempting to release the grappling hooks so I can walk. It doesn't work too smoothly until I pretend like my right pinky nail is a small knife, which I use to cut the wire. Then I walk towards the front door of the house and wake up.
12/20/2012 3:40am I was a passenger in Seth's car heading to his house I think. First we are driving up the highway then we are headed away from his house down another road. The driving scenes had been skipping a little. Seth started to pass other cars and it seemed like it took a long time to pass them at moderate speeds. Then while we drove normal some guy did some crazy driving and cut us off. It was at this time that I began to notice how crazy the roads were. My head was resting on the dash while I thought about the driving and where we were headed. I commented about everyone's driving and looked in the rear-view mirror. There swerving all through traffic was a cloaked figure with a flying desk about 2 to 3 feet off the ground. He was dressed all in black and had a large hat. Everything he wore waved about like a spirit...(almost dementor like but not so dark and decaying.) His desk and chair were also wavy and black. The desk itself was small and almost resembled a keyless keyboard with pointed wavering ends. He was following us.. I mentioned the guy in the desk as a case in point. ... "Wait a sec" I thought "Crazy driving, skipping places, Flying Desk".... I did a reality check. My hand looked normal but I counted 6 fingers.... I remained calm but no sooner had I RCd than I woke up.
Bedtime 12:30A 5MG Melatonin WBTB 5AM Strong Coffee, 2MG Melatonin, 200MG B6 I was up only for a few minutes and then did SSILD. #110 New exit tests I have some dream about being at the mall. My wife was working there. Something about the maintenance doors and something needed for security. I sit down at a table and have a cup of coffee. I take a drink and am reminded of something. The memory that I wanted to LD wakes me a little. I am in the void and I say to myself, "That coffee kicked in fast." Then I remember that I have been dreaming already so It's been a while. I relax and DEILD. I go straight into SP. I get up like usual. I am standing and I try to see by opening my eyes. I feel like my real eyes open so I close them. I wake a little. I relax and DEILD. Sp again. I just relax and focus. I feel like I am spinning. When it stops I try to imagine a rope above me running horizontal. I reach both hands up and make a motion like I am pulling my self toward the headboard. It doesn't work. In fact, I wonder if I am really awake and just making hand motions in the air. I stop and try it different. Imagine floating in the same direction to phase out through the wall. It feels like my body is dragging on the sheets and bunching them up I come to a stop. Our headboard is made of metal bars and my head gets through but my right shoulder hits a bars and I stop. The sensation is realistic. Sold and solid. In real life my head would not even fit between the bars so this was encouraging. I wake a little. I relax and DEILD. After the vibrations settle. I relax and reach up with my hands and try to pull myself through this way. The bars feel realistic in my hands. Again my head gets it but my only my right shoulder catches a bar. I pull harder (Not nearly hard enough) but the feeling on my shoulder increases slightly. Giving up too easily I stop. I wake a little. I relax and DEILD. I get vibrations again. This time I think to do just do more visual. I relax and let my imagination go some but still focus on the dream. My hands and arms feel floaty like there is no gravity. I can see now. I am still laying in bed but I can see the wall at the head of the bed. There is no window but I see a shelf with some trophy on it. I can see it has fallen over and is on its side. I can see the golden head of what looks like Oscar. On a whim I reach for it. I try TK. I think I see it floating to me but when I try to grasp it there is nothing. I wake up a little. This time I am fooled by an FA. I think I have to pee. I think I will sip some more coffee and try again. I am peeing but it feels odd. I realize I am dreaming but I am so worried that I am actually peeing the bed that I jolt awake All is dry. I think if I had a little more determination I could have phased through. Getting out of my house is a bitch and for some reason the OBE style dreams are the most common for me. Lucid time: maybe 5 min Sleep time after WBTB: approx 70 min

So this is based in my house and the scene is repeated usually in my room, so my mum has a a husband but she doesn't have one in real life, so my sort of step dad has these two assistants who visit my room every night and to steal stuff from my room, nothing else and I'm always scared of them even though they never hurt of me. When these two men open the door they point a flashlight at me everytime to see if I'm asleep, usually I wake up when they do that but one time I woke up and they were in my room already. They visited me twice in the dream. the first time they opened the door I said "Eh" I struggled to say it cause I felt like my body was paraliyzed and really tired, they closed the door immedietly. I then told my mum to tell my stepdad to get them the hell out cause they've been doing that ever since the stepdad arrived (never managed to steal anything) She believed in me but then my stepdad didn't, he told me I just wanted attention and the reason I wanted attention was because I was a slut (I AM NOT!) The next day they came back like most of the time, pointed the flashlight at me again but this time I felt paralyzed, tired and sick. I couldn't speak I just watched them walk around me room nothing else. I would wake up really scared and I almost had a panic attack when I saw my bedroom door was wide open but then I realized my cat was on my bed so it was him.
I had 2 LD before joining DreamViews. Last night i was thinking alot about being lucid, tryed to tell to my head that i will have lucid dream tonight and thought about it before going to bed. I have started doing RC's but it was like 2nd day doing it and it wasn't regular. But as i know now, it was enought to trigger my LD! I just tryed to look at watch and somehow i couldn't, then quickly check other watch and it was something unnatural, so i got that shock to my body and light on me ( i don't know if you feel the same then you're starting to be lucid ). I felt very happy and was so exited!! I mean really exited!! So i almost woke up, i almost felt my body moving in real world and i quickly closed my eyes and said to me "RELAX!!!" and it really got to steady dream I was in my room, i tryed to create objects i closed my eyes and thought about object i opened up my eyes and it wasnt there, tryed a few times and no effect. And i think i just woke up. After i woke up i felt asleep again, but it was normal dream and not lucid...
11/08/2012 11:30pm The first part was like watching a tv show. A teenage girl (from the Disney channel I think) was having a bad dream. I think people and things were disappearing. Soon enough she realizes that she is dreaming. She starts yelling at the top of her lungs "Wake up, wake up, wake up!!!!" The way she shouted reminds me of Dawn's tantrums from the show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". She sits up in bed and realizes that she just had a false awakening. We do a reality check and I become lucid. I feel extremely tired and sit up in bed. Not thinking to anchor my dream I try to change the lighting by waving my hands around. Faint, glowy, swirls appear in my bedroom but nothing more as would be expected. Still very tired I feel myself start to wake up. I see a blue dot appear on my wall and I think it might be my real life clock. I closed my eyes tight and count..."one one thousand, two one thousand....." The dream stabilizes and and despite my exhaustion I get up and walk toward the door that leads outside my home. I was hoping for the scene to change into a beautiful landscape. The room is very different now. Instead of a queen size bed in the middle of one wall, I get off of a twin size bed in the corner. I see my girlfriend sleeping on a futon mattress near the door but I keep walking..slowly because I am still so tired. I finally reach the door but as I reach for the knob a creature runs along the wall across the door and of down the other wall. It scared me at first but I knew that I was dreaming and caught a glimpse of it as it passed. It was only a dream tabby cat running on the wall. After that there were big puppies everywhere around my feet and on the ceiling. They curled up against my legs and I grabbed an adorable pup off the wall. I brought it in to let it lick my face but it was dark and I couldn't see its face... perhaps I was holding it backwards..........Wake up.
Bedtime: Midnight 5MG Melatonin. Some amount of RUM. Wake 4:30AM Meditation 15 min. 1 cup strong green tea caffeinated. Back to Bed at 5:00AM Tech: WILD #109 Damned Rainbow Demon 5:30AM During WILD I get strong HI/HH. I am driving in the country in the fall. The leaves are changing colors. Weezer's Dreamin is playing quietly in the background... on the radio? I hear birds chirping. Then I notice that the birds begin to sound distorted and electronic like some sort of strange robot bird. Now I realize I am in the dream totally. I say to my self, "It's go time." But now I am back in my bed with vibrations. I wake for a bit. My hands feel like they are floating up on there own volition. I rub them. The sensation feels ultra real but a little like I lost circulation. I easily get up. It feels so real that for a moment I think I am really wake. I ignore that thought and just go with it. Then, the sheet feel wrapped around me funny. I pull it out from under me like I was swaddled. I stand up. It is dark and I feel that I just need to open my dream eyes but I open my real eyes and see the dark room where I am laying in bed still. Shocked, I wake a little. DEILD I am back in bed with vibrations again. This time I am more focused. I easily get up out of bed and stand. Again it feels ultra real. I can see the light coming from around the edges of the door and lighting the floor. The rest of the room is dark. I hear this strange sound like an evil electronic raspberry noise. I become gripped with fear. The source of the sound is coming from my wife's side of the bed. I know that it's the Rainbow Demon and worry that it will attack me again. I point to the sound and say, "NO!". Suddenly, it stops. Still afraid I rush out of the room and slam the door behind me. Let out a sigh of relief. The fear doesn't leave me so I rush to the front door to go outside. On the way I see some blankets on the floor. Fully distracted now, I think how we just cleaned for company before bed and wonder how and why there are blankets. I stoop to grab them quickly but I fall. I land on the floor hard! Then, the floor gives and I fall through it into totally darkness. I wake up. I try to DEILD again but nothing happens right away so. I record the dream before I fall back to sleep. Sometimes I think there is something that wants to keep me in the house. I need to remember to just phase through the bedroom window and be done with all of that. I spend to much energy just getting out of bed and then the house becomes a pitfall. Hmm....
Non-Dream Dream Lucid I was at an amusement park with a group getting ready for a backstage tour of a roller coaster. We start towards the roller coaster and I realize I'm dreaming when I think that I could just fly to get there faster. I jump to to fly thinking of my lucid goal to swim with dolphins. I started trying to spin to fly faster to teleport myself while at the same time thinking about a tropical destination. It was tough to spin at first but with enough will power I was able to spin rapidly. I was flying at lightspeed at this point with the clouds flying past me in a circular blur. I started to fly back down, expecting I've arrive at my destination. As I made my way through the cloads I noticed two tropical deserted islands. I was short of them which was perfect. I dove in the warm water expecting dolphins to be there. Shortly after, a small dolphin about the size of myself swam up close to me. I grabbed it's dorsal fin and let it gently pull me around the water for a bit. After I was finished, a second one swam up close to me. I thought it might be bigger but it was about the same size. I pet it, amazed by the realistic feel of it's skin. I woke up.
Dream started out - my two friends Talena and Amy were fighting, breaking up. They were employees in a huge sit-down buffet kind of restaurant. Amy was at the register, Talena was wearing a red apron like she was a server. (IRL they are both managers at a fast food place). Then the dream changed and I was watching 3 girls get ready for a party of some kind. They were getting dressed like it was the prom, but it wasn't, was just a pool party at someones house. I didn't know anyone at the pool party/house, but I was there. This is where is gets strange. Some kids at this party were practicing dream control, levitation, throwing energy, wielding a sword, different things. In the pool in the back were a few couples making out, and one in particular forcing himself on another person who didn't want it. I remember thinking in the dream that I was in the dreamviews forum. The house, the pool, the people were the forum. I'm in the house. In walks some one who looks like (has taken on the resemblance of) the late Patrick Swayze, wearing some kind of armor. "Patrick" starts getting angry at some of the party goers, saying people were in danger and needed to be out of there. He conjures up a shiny black wall and it appears between the house and the pool where some kids are still in the pool, and now they cant get back in the house. We hear banging from the outside of the wall. People in the house now crank up the music and colored lights are flashing, party gets going good. I am suddenly in a bedroom, I'm laying horizontal looking at the ceiling - but I don't think I was on a bed, I was just floating in a supine position. On the ceiling was this young fellow with orange and blond streaked, spiked hair who was throwing down sticky web like stuff from his hands, down at me. He thought he was hurting me and he was really getting off on it, but he wasn't hurting anybody. He was laughing hysterically, nothing but scared, sad vibes, hungry and lonely. I remember grabbing some of the "web strings" and rising up, getting in his face saying "All you have to do is be honest with yourself and the rest will follow." Then I woke up, I'm in my bed. I remember doing a check, to see if I was awake and low and behold I was not. I didn't want a cigarette, so I knew I was still dreaming. So, I'm out of the second level of dreaming, in the first level, and I'm dreaming of my dog (that died in 2000) named Tina, she was a huge grey Schnauzer. I'm driving a grey silver car and shes in the back seat and we are going to help a 4-5 year old girl who needs kindergarten education curriculum. Then I woke up. Wanting a cigarette
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Good morning! Wow, it's been way too long since my last LD and I had almost forgotten how awesome it felt. Had a few beers last night and because I had had way too much to drink a few nights before, I got some pretty heavy REM rebound. Had many vivid dreams alongside the LD. It wasn't much, but it was pure joy the few seconds it lasted. 01.30: Sleep 06.00: TK DILD I'm high up on a cliff in my old neighbourhood. I'm not sure who's with me, but I give him a shove and as he falls off the cliff, he takes me with him. I turn around in mid air and focus all my will to find a soft landing spot so that I won't die. "Wait a second, I'm dreaming!" I say out loud and all fear is gone. I land neatly on the ground and look at the guy next to me. "I guess I'll do this then" I say and wave with my hand. The garage door slams shut. "And this! I put my hand out and make the car slide. My joy of finally getting to play with telekinesis again reflects upon the other guy. "Or you can do this!" I aim at a barrow hanging on the wall and it starts spinning like crazy. We both laugh and run to the back of the house where the dream begins to fade. 09.30: Wake up Amount of sleep: 8 hours Supplements: Alcohol That's it! I had another LD a few dreams before that, but it was barely worth remembering, I looked at a big tower and I got lucid, that's it. Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
Was going to type this entry yesterday, but have not got enough time, so anyway. I went to my usual WBTB/WILD nap, but apparently was too sleepy and fallen into unconscious sleep. Dream: I was on my PC playing a game of FTL(Faster Than Light), and there was apparently an actual multiplayer ship vs ship, at some point O2 generator was blown up and 2 of the crew suffocated while trying to fix it, 2 of the crew was left but i actually won this one. Then there was next opponent and i had to fight it on the same ship that i was on in the previous battle, that's it, no repairs or anything. Opponent apparently had some sort of projectile variation of anti-bio beam as one of weapons and some sort of enhanced purple ion weapon(those weapons were definitely not from real game), and got my shields down pretty fast, and then murdered the crew. GAME OVER. And then dream ends. As i woke up i noticed that i still had time left for my napping, so i changed position and tried to WILD again. And it was successful this time, It started as an false awakening in my bedroom, i took off headphones and apparently binaurals was still there(That's my RC of sorts), also my family was in the room too, but they did not seem to pay attention to me, as i started getting up from the bed i rubbed hands, but soon after dream faded out and i woke up. Yeah, short LD but it was longer than previous one so i am on the right track back, i think.

12/22/12 Night Whispers I am on a beach like the one described in my hypnosis program that I fall asleep with. I am fully lucid. I am thinking I should find someplace where I am needed. So I trace out a circle in front of me and it becomes a portal. I step through the portal and into someone's bedroom. There is a kid in the bed sleeping, a boy that looks like he is about 15. There are several people standing around him, though they are not waking him up. They are leaning over his bed and whispering things in his ears. When I get close enough I hear that they are talking about death and murder. I ask them what they think they are doing. One of them looks up at me in surprise. I think he is surprised I can see him at all. I tell them to leave the boy alone. The one who looked up at me tells me not to mess with things I don't understand. I tell him we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but stop trying to put negative thoughts into the kid's head. The man says I have been warned, so now I will pay the price. All three of them approach me, I stand my ground. They transform into strange demonic creatures right in front of me. I summon a sword from my Witchblade. The demonic creatures seem to hesitate, I think they are surprised I am going to stand and fight them… then they attack me. I duck down and underneath a nasty looking sword as it is swung to remove my head. I use my sword to run the demon through and pump light energy into the thing. It burns up from the inside out, disappearing in a flash of white light. I barely respond quickly enough to block another attack coming from behind. I duck around and turn, taking out the other two demons quickly with my sword. I look back over at the boy in the bed. He hasn't even been awakened by all of the commotion. I think either he is the deepest sleeper I have ever seen or maybe I have been fighting in the astral plane, which is the only answer that really makes sense. I don't have a chance to check before I wake up.
