    1. 6-05-2013 Treacherous Sister and Modded Mine carts

by , 06-06-2013 at 01:58 AM (Subjects' Dream Journal)
      Treacherous Sister:
It starts out with me applying for a job. They inform me i have to go through a chemical shower and my dream self agrees. Before i get to the factory at which i'm to take this shower, i had to meet at this other office looking place and empty all of my pockets. I throw everything in a box except for my pocket knife. I then head on to the factory, not many people are there, some workers, it's very lonely feeling. I was instructed to squeeze myself headfirst into this rotating pipe ( this freaks me out, i start to think i might not get out ) and i wobble my way through and before i know it, i'm out and on a platform at a higher level in the factory. ( i was also freaking out because of the pocket knife i still had, i was worried they might have a metal detector, and it turns out, there was no chemical shower at all, strange, oh well ). The box i emptied my pockets into was supposed to be sitting on this platform but it's gone, Some one must have stolen it. I walk out and it's night time, There's a tunnel that leads to a subway looking underground place. There's a man there, he offers to trade with me ( what he was trading, i can't remember ) but my dream self was sure this guy had stolen my stuff and so i attack him. He pulls out a knife but thankfully, i was good at dodging and after a little bit, i managed to get a knife from his ware storage. We battle it out and whether or not i kill him or just seriously wound him i cannot remember, but i do remember i lost a decent chunk out of my foot and it hurts a little. After the fight, i'm there alone and i discover that this guy was in fact a thief. Then i somehow end up at my house ( can't remember how i got there ) and i'm looking at some stuff on a self and my sister enters but she's not aware i'm here so i watch her. She climbs into a secret pit under the floor. My dream self then somehow comes to the conclusion that she's a thief and i must kill her too so i take my pocketknife and flip it out as i run over to her and i jump onto her back and quickly stab her through the ribs three times, she's dead and i discover she did in fact steal stuff from people.

      Modded Mine carts:
I'm on a modded Minecraft server. It's a hunger games type survival thing and there's also a goal at the end but i arrive late so all the other players are ahead of me. The goal is to climb all these ladders and ride the mine carts to the correct goal ( it's like a maze ) the surroundings are very cave trench like. There's also chests scattered around for players to loot but i was late joining so i got none. The server had some weird mine cart mod installed that allowed mine carts to run sideways and upsidedown and it also included a redstone thing that automatically turned the mine carts and sent them in a new direction.

    2. 5th June 2013 Fight and search

by , 06-05-2013 at 11:04 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
I was exploring some area and at one point i was in one location that looked very Doom-like and with alot of tech stuff on walls, there were some enemies i was shooting at and also some were behind the fake walls. I was using some projectile firing weapon, but it's accuracy was not great. Then after enemies were defeated i went outside and started exploring that area, there was someone else helping me and then we were discussing where to go next. We chosen some patch that was going through some kind of farmlands, more enemies were there that we had to fight and we were searching for something. After that we were exploring location further but this time while trying to avoid enemies.

    3. Recurring Dreams From My Childhood: Bike Jump

      by , 06-05-2013 at 09:47 PM
When I was a lot younger (about 4 or 5) I used to have a lot of dreams that reoccurred unbelievably often and were so vivid and memorable that I still remember them very well to this day so I thought I'd share them with you guys This one is about one of my favourite childhood hobbies: riding my bike!

The dream began with me riding around a dirt track with other riders, but I don't know who they were even though they had no helmets on, I suppose I just didn't pay attention to them when I had this dream. The track looked like a track for actual motocross bikes with engines and, although we were only riding pedal bikes, we went as fast as motocross bikes without much effort.

The 'climax' of the dream I suppose happened when the riders in the race undertook a huge jump from a ramp. I still remember the run of the track up to the jump (random input here: it's quite coincidental that at this point my profile picture is me on a motorbike ) The track was straight until a sharp right which we always flew around easily, then a few humps which were also easily navigated, then a steep hill climb with a sharp left at the top and a huge, steep downhill with an upward flick and sheer drop at the end. The end of this steep downhill run was framed by a metal gateway covered in posters advertising biking companies (even though I didn't know any), similar to what you'd see on a motocross track.

As I navigated the run up to the jump, I could always see the people in front launching off this ramp and literally flying. Also, the drop at the end of the ramp was huge, the air was massive. Once I reached the top of the downhill, I always bombed down it as fast as I could go, which was considerably speedy with dream-powered legs Then I launched of the ramp and got that churning clenching feeling in my gut that you always feel when you are falling or you drop unexpectedly or even if you are walking upstairs in the dark and think there is one more step than there actually is and your foot falls through the air without meeting resistance. I'm sure you know what I'm getting out, pretty much everyone will have experienced what I mean. Anyway, this feeling was so strong in the dream as I plummeted from the ramp. I don't know why but I think you were supposed to fly at the end of the ramp and every time I didn't, I just dropped like that. At this point I would always wake up feeling exhilarated and pumped with adrenaline but most of all terrified.

Hope you enjoyed my description of my dream, I think I'll post a couple more so check them out too if you've the time.

      Cheers

    4. Here are a few more weird not truely lucid bits and peices that don't belong together

      by , 06-05-2013 at 08:15 PM
Last night I had very messed up dreams. Fire fighters (the ones that fight wild fires), people believed to be making and distributing drugs who were actually manufacturing large amounts of really bad bombs, sharks swimming in the front yard (no water, just swimming through the air). No clue where this was supposed to be going.

Attempted to get Lucid, but the alarm clock went off before I could get anywhere.

    5. Serpent Safety

      by , 06-05-2013 at 05:42 PM
I was at a zoo of some sorts. In this zoo, it was normal for the guests to go into the exhibits with the animals. I walked into a seemingly empty exhibit where i could see the tiger exhibit. Each section was protected by one electric wire. Somewhere in my part there was an iguana that I had not noticed before. It attacked me, but I beat it away with a stick. Soon after, though, there was a huge snake that came in and grabbed me (thus showing how useless that electric wire was) Similar to the movie "Anaconda," this animal wrapped around me and began attempting to crush me to death. I left the point of view of me and began looking at the situation from above. I do remember screaming out for help, but the scream was not as loud as I hoped. The people around got me free from its grasp by attaching a rope to my leg and a truck and then driving the truck away to pull me out. After they got me free, the snake disappeared, but another, larger snake came. For some reason, at this point, I knew there would be 3 snakes total that would attack. It was as if this was a video game that I had played before. After being freed from this snake (through the same means as the first), the third snake came and ate me. At this point, it really wasn't me who the snake ate because I was no longer in the point of view of this character, and he had changed from me to someone else anyways. Regardless, the rescue team began throwing very sharp objects at the snake's mid-section in order to cut a hole for the guy to crawl out of. They apparently trusted their men enough to not hit the person inside. The dream continued, but from there it gets fuzzy.

    6. Dreams from New Technique and June 5 Recap

      by , 06-05-2013 at 05:40 PM
Well I think I found out the hard way that when you work out every day and don't eat enough... your body has a nasty way of telling you. I planned on using the new technique again last night, however instead of having vivid dreams that I became lucid in, I just had tons of scattered fragments that I didn't even bother recording. After that I even slept through my wake up alarm at 8:00 and slept until 9:30! Either way, I gotta eat a little more in the evenings I guess, cause just an apple for dinner isn't cutting it.

Anyways, here are the dreams from when I first tried the new technique...

#1 - I was in history class, and the teacher got up and reminded us all of the assignment that was due that day that we were supposed to do o ver the weekend. I had forgotten to do it obviously (since it's summer!) and I started reasoning with myself why was I even in school during summer vacation? I then rememebered the exact date and was like "I'm DREAMING"! Soon after that I got up and started walking around the classroom. I was focusing on just staying in the dream and not letting the rest of the class distract me and lose lucidity (like my DC's usually do). I then gave them all A's on thier papers cause I was in charge now that it was MY dream, and let them all go outside, away from me. Then after my victory I got woken up anyways by my mom cooking breakfast. -_-

#2 - As soon as I woke up though, I just went right back to sleep and re-entered the same dream. The room was a little different, but now there was a clock in there. I looked at this clock, and it was 8:00. I then looked away, and looked back for a reality check, and boom! 8:15 I then knew I was dreaming. Soon after another teacher entered and left a cell phone on a desk. I grabbed it and gave it back to her, saying she forgot it, but she just said it was her husband's and he wanted it left ther for some reason. Soon after though, I got woken up again by some sound from the kitchen.

#3 - I re-entered the dream and then looked at this same clock again. It worked like a charm, and I became lucid again. At this point I decided ti was tome to work on dream goals. I went and sat in the corner and focused. However, I got woken up again. Grr...

#4 - I was then in my room. I remember walking out the door and seeing the box for my Genesis. The box art kept changing and I knew I was dreaming. After this I went to the back porch to get outside and work on my dream goals. Woke up again though from breakfast being made.

#5 - Finally though, I re-entered this dream and was now standing on the back porch at my house. I remember watching all these cars going by, just like normal life. It was so life-like I wasn't sure if I was actually dreaming, but it was re-affirmed when some random person on a bicycle came by, tipped over, then just randomly kinda floated back upright and continued on. This strange occurrence assured me I was dreaming, and I wouldn't look like a fool trying to spin in circles and change the dream scene. However, I apparently don't have much experience changing the dream scene, as it didn't work and I just fell on my butt I then just sat for a minute and stabalized the dream. I then tried commanding the dream to change scenes, but right as I was doing this I got woken up again!

Well, I guess I only had 5 dreams But still, it was pretty awesome! I'm gonna eat more for dinner tonight so I have energy in the morning adn try this technique again! Can't wait!!!

    7. Put that tutorial in a cage!

      by , 06-05-2013 at 05:34 PM
The room is white, featureless, indirectly illuminated, and the only object in the room is a black-metal cage, approximately 42 inches on a side. The bars are about 3 inches apart and I can clearly see that nothing is inside the cage.

My intention is to put the Dream Control tutorial into this cage. It's what I'm supposed to do and it's also what my father wants. I did feel odd having him advise me in any way about dreaming material but he seemed to know what he was talking about, though he was never in the room.

I struggled for a while with the concept of placing the tutorial in the cage and how it wouldn't escape the particular style of cage, since the spacing between the bars was easily wide enough to slip through (for a tutorial) when I woke up.

I don't even know what to say about this dream.
    8. A single fragment...

by , 06-05-2013 at 04:28 PM (Welcome to my dreams!)
      1. [non-lucid]
I remembered upon waking, but it slipped my mind

      2. [non-lucid]

      Don't remember most of it.

      Fragments:
I was writing something on a pad held in my right hand with a pencil, it was quite light and I was laying in bed in the exact position I slept in.

    9. Two (Three?) Fragments

      by , 06-05-2013 at 04:21 PM
I'm in a castle and there are a bunch of small people running about, although I think they're normal size and I'm just huge, since I can hardly fit through the hallways. I come to this sword stuck in the floor that is radiating energy, and I punch it, and I get a power-up, then I run over to the castle across from mine and start smashing its walls. It all plays like a video game, and I think I might have been Wreck-it Ralph.

Later, I'm in a room with a raised castle floor on two ends of the room, and in the middle is a much lower floor with a shark swimming around in it as if the floor is water. I am on an end with a small, round character, don't remember who. I thought they were on my side, but they might have pushed me off the edge. Either way, I fell. I tried to jump back onto the ledge, but when I did, I jumped over to the other side for some reason (maybe that was when the character pushed me off), but Wreck-it Ralph was on that side and he was not on my team, but I can't remember what happened when I jumped over there.

At one point in a different dream, there might have been something about a forest.

    10. blue ocean, NY

      Wednesday, 6/5/13

      Last night bed 12am-7:30am

DR: I'm swimming in a very shallow coastal waters, that are gorgeous tropical blue. There are some killer whale size fish swimming in circles. If we swim behind them, with our arm stretched out in just the right way, we suppose to be able to follow them easily, without much effort.

Later I'm looking down at the shore from a small cliff. I'm asking a friend of mine, what she wants to do for the next week, because it turns out, we are here for one week vacation.

She says "I wanna go in the water" which makes me happy, because secretly I wished she would say that. But she also wants to visit a large city that's nearby. Looks like it's New York. We also looking at the map, trying to remember which large city did we go through, so we can visit it too. Someone asks if we wanna go to maybe Budapest, or Kahira. I have a feeling we are in north of Poland, so both cities are just a short hop on the airplane. I decline Budapest, since we can get there anytime (here I correctly remember from WL where I live). So I pick Kahira.

Next trip we are doing is NY. Waiting at the train station platform, trains pulls up, but in different direction and stops further to the left. We all start running, thinking it's our train, that later will turn around to go our direction.

Two friends of mine are ahead of me and I lose track of them. I look for them in the windows, but don't see them. Loudspeaker says train will be moving soon, need to get on. So I open the door and some people fall out. Looks like it's packed fool. But as I get on, I see bunch of free space, even some empty seats. I start cursing at dumbass people blocking the entrance and not sitting down.

I got on in the last wagon, so I can walk and sweep the train looking for my friends. There are some mean looking thugs at the passage door to the second wagon. Something happens and I open the door. I see the connection between two wagons and I walk into next wagon. As I make my way by bunch of people, I see a friend of mine looking backwads toward me calling my name. I see them and we are reunited. Then he tells me, we are going the wrong way. Will have to get off at next station and wait for our train.
    11. Campus at Night

      by , 06-05-2013 at 03:18 PM
Fragment: Meeting the director from my upcoming audition. (She emailed me a reminder about the audition shortly before I went to sleep.)

      Dream

I was at what was supposed to be a college campus but didn't look like one. It was nighttime. There was going to be a football game. I met a girl and two guys and we ate together. I thought one of the guys was kinda hot. The girl voiced my thoughts exactly. Then the hot guy left, and as he was leaving I said, "Nice to meet you."

The girl seemed annoyed that I had acknowledged him but not her. I meant to say the same to her before she departed a few second later, but somehow didn't get the chance.

Did my WBTB after this and couldn't fall back asleep because of allergies. Did catch a few HHs, though.

    12. 5th June 2013 Fragments

by , 06-05-2013 at 11:31 AM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
Dream recall from today's naps. Was kinda in 'too sleepy' state, i need to fix my schedule a bit.

      Dream 1(fragment):

I was in some outdoor location and there was something about robots.

      Dream 2(fragments):

I was in some wooden area(recurring place?), talking to someone who had completely wrong definition of lucid dreaming, which was something else completely, i told him the right definition and then we were having fun about something.

    13. Christmas and computer game friends

      by , 06-05-2013 at 07:12 AM
I dreamt that I was in some kind of huge computer game. In times it was like an adventure game, where I went from area to area, unlocking more areas as I went. It was pretty late game I guess, since I saw a map where I could see all the areas that I had unlocked, and there were lots of them.

In the dream it became Christmas, and I went to an area that I had visited before in order to cook myself a Christmas meal. I did so, and met up with some friends along the way. Afterwards I met an old IRL friend, and he asked what I did for Christmas. I said I had cooked an amazing Christmas meal, but lied in order to make it look better then it really was.

During another part of the dream it was like a game called Planetside 2. The only difference from the real game is that there was a new kind of super-exoskeleton, very strong but very effective. I managed to save enough resources for one, and then a woman gave me an introduction to it. "Hi, welcome to something-industries exoskelteon, allow me to show you its functions", that kind of introduction.

Even later, might even have been another dream, me and some friends where going to a friends house from the University that we were studying. We had the address and were going to meet up with our friend there. We arrived an knocked on the door. We head footsteps, and one of us said that the friend must have arrived ahead of us, but I said that they didn't sound like his footsteps, these were slower.

I was right, an old man opened the door, and gave us a "who the hell are you" kind of look. We asked if he knew our friend, and said that he did indeed, it was his son. So we explained that we were going to visit him and were let in. He said, sternly, that we had to leave before ten. The house was one big room on the top floor, with stair leading down to some kind of basement. When I took of my shoes I must have hit something, because my friends yelled at me to be careful. When I looked up a teddybear fell from its place on a shelf on the other side of the room, and it seemed like that was my fault. Good first impression I thought. We sat down on a large coach and waited in silence for our friend.

    14. New Technique - 6 Lucid Dreams

      by , 06-05-2013 at 06:24 AM
Yep, you heard that right, I had 6 lucid dreams last night! They all seemed sorta chained together but eh, I was awake between each one so I call it 6!

Since it's getting late and I haven't had much time to record these on DV yet, I will do that tomorrow. But here is the technique I used to achieve this..

So last night I was reading about lucid dreaming and I came across this thing called the napping technique. It is really similar to a WILD except you stay up for a long time in between waking up
and going back to sleep. What I did was go to bed around 11:30. Then I set my alarm clock to get me up at 5:30. From this point I made myself stay awake for the next hour. I read out of my lucid dreaming book during this time to keep myself focused on dreams. When I first went back to bed, I remember having a non lucid for a second, then waking back up and realizing it. (or maybe I didn't wake up? I can't remember) Anyways, after this dream, my thinking during my dreams was VERY logical. Without giving away the first dream that started it, basically I was questioning why I was back in school, when it was June 3? (yes I remembered the exact date) Anyways, from there I became lucid. I kept waking up for some reason though during these dreams, but I was easily able to chain them together using a clock that was located in the room in the dream world. By then end I had had 6 dreams, and was VERY, VERY close to FINALLY meeting that individual I have been trying to for soooooo loooooong now.

Anyways, I found this technique to be the best thing since sliced bread, since it produced 6 lucids the first try. I'll log the dreams tomorrow, and hopefully alongside even more from tonight!

      See ya

      by , 06-04-2013 at 11:22 PM
So i was playing on one of my favorite servers with my friends, Kyle and Blake. Kyle was at Blakes house and blake was trying to play with me but kyle kept trying to install a texture pack. I was actually in Minecraft and it was pretty awesome. Then my mom woke me up.
