    1. Pulled out when getting in...

      by , 05-01-2014 at 08:28 AM (4th DJ-Attempt)
I'm on my bed playing with a camera, trying to take pictures of a city park in front of me, when a dark mist covers part of some trees. The image on the LCD looks very dreamy to me. Then I tell a DC on my side "it looks like it is a dreamscape". I try to get more pictures of it, until the the haze is to dark and the images turn in black. I get exited because of the possibility to get dreamscapes with this camera, then I point to a door on my left, by moving just the image on the screen with a smooth movement of my hands (it looked more like a 1st person game motion). When I press the button, I see the illumination of the image like the sun is moving really fast until I get a beautiful photo of a tree with its roots coming out of a wall next to a door. It's filled in blue and green colors besides the dreamy shadows. I'm fascinated when the DC turns into my wife and she tells me that we have to go somewhere.
I want to take more pictures, when I notice I'm pointing a window in front of me. I put the camera down and I realize it's a known dreamscape in the outside! I tell her "Wow, there it is, it's THAT dreamworld I love the most!! I stand up from my bed to see an abandoned train station in the outside and tell her: "There is the old train station!!..." Then I take one more picture. I hear the sound of an analog camera when I press the button. I look around to realize the whole dreamscape, I'm simply fascinated!
My wife doesn't seem to get interested at all, and she starts pulling me to go. I ask her to wait a little. I just want to go out of this dark room and explore, because I'm starting to realize what it means (it's a dream). Then she holds me from my genitals and squeeze them. That hurts and I'm thinking for what to do to get rid off her. I wonder about the pain, and she insists to take me out from here. I complain about it in a friendly way, trying to see the situation as something funny, but it's hurting me...
Finally, I'm lying on the floor, with the camera on my hands with my wife pulling me from my genitals...
then I wake up thinking perhaps she has something interesting to say or do...

    2. Filtering & seeing the light

      by , 03-18-2014 at 02:28 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
Fragment 2. Using a filter on Google to filter out things I didn’t want to include in my search. Some where:

      Pokemon Black & White __?__
      Some other Pokemon stuff
      Hot women on bikes (#)

(#) = the number of results for the topic it would filter out

Fragment 3. Talking to a character from Digimon, they say they used a gun. They say they saw a bright light like the sun, and the character I am thinks back to the light that they saw in the past, coming from an older Ken, who is being photographed (though there wasn’t actually a light).

It had the meaning of ‘when certain children see Digimon, they become Chosen Children, so the gun!kid was special’. The character POVs were confusing, I feel like the characters were Daisuke and maybe Taichi?

Fragment 4. Sherlock or Khan was sitting on a chair, mom was there too on a couch. I was sitting on the right or on the floor in front of it. It’s a little confusing, but he was either playing the violin or showing us something on TV. There was some really pretty instrumental music playing, but I couldn’t stop snickering because he was making some funny movement.

      -Jump-

I’m freaking out because there’s something wrong with my right canine, it feels out of place. I go to the kitchen where mom is on the phone with my aunt. (Sherlock/Khan has left, although it was a different house then.) I want her to get off and help me, but while she’s looking at me, she doesn’t seem to be getting off anytime soon.

I go to the nearby bathroom and look in the mirror. Rather than teeth, my canines look like they’re made out of my gums.

      Alarm goes off.

Inspiration: I finished rewatching Star Trek Into Darkness yesterday, plus I read some Sherlock Holmes before lying down. Teeth part from how flossing gives me problems sometimes. ><

Notes: I did try MILD more than once. No lucids last night, but working on it!

    3. Terrifyingly Creepy.....Footprints.

      by , 10-17-2013 at 04:10 AM
Funny how something so simple can be so terrifyingly creepy.

      Dream:

I arrived at my mom's house. As I walked to the front porch I could see some odd looking footprints in the dirt. I looked at them closer. They were humanoid and slightly smaller than my feet. I could see the toes clearly. The second two toes were longer than the big toe and had what looked like claws or long toenails that made an impression in the dirt above the toe. I thought they were so strange that I took a picture of them with my phone.

At about that same time I got an email from my science teacher (Christopher) who sent me a very similar picture. He said that prints like these were thought to belong to a mysterious, paranormal animal somewhat like a bigfoot. Hearing that made me nervous and I rushed into the house. I told my mom about the footprints and took her outside to look at them. We were both unnerved that they were so close to the house and right by the front door.

That night I could hardly sleep because I was so afraid of that creature that could be right outside the house. I was thankful that the doors were locked.

The next day I told my friend Ruth about the prints. I showed her the pictures and what was left of the real prints (by that time they had gotten stepped on and were partially destroyed).

Then it was evening again (I had been distracted by some horses that had gotten loose and were running up and down the street, but they were now gone.) My mom's house was now my childhood house and not her current house. I looked out the door. I could see that there was a forest up the street where there were normally houses. I saw an elk and a smaller deer.

Suddenly I was terribly afraid. I knew that creature could be right behind any tree. I saw my mom out in the yard. I didn't want her to be there. Something could happen to her. I started yelling for her to come in. She didn't seem to her. I felt even more terrified. I yelled again....and again, feeling more frantic every second.

Suddenly I woke up and it took a few minutes to settle down. I wondered how I would be feeling if I had woken up and had been camping outside. I knew I would be really freaked out.

    4. Lucid, TARDIS flying, house vibrating, Sith base

by , 09-06-2013 at 11:56 AM (The Redeeming Dreamer)
      9/6/2013, 10:10-6:25

      Regular Dream Lucid Dream Awake

I went to sleep after meditating, repeating the mantras, "I remember that I'm dreaming when I'm dreaming," and, "I remember my dreams when I wake up." During meditation, I repeated those mantras, too. I took a drink of water, went to the bathroom, and went to bed with the air conditioner on.

      Dream 1:

I remember a Sith base, and people running around it. I was watching from the ceiling, but it was really a camera dream, without me being in an actual body. I watched as the base was apparently under attack.

I woke at 3:21 (with a reality check of course). My dog seemed to need to go outside, so I went out with him. It was cold out there. As he took a piss, I looked up at the stars, and tried to sort out any constellations I could find. None. I then got back inside, drank some more water, took another piss, and went back to bed at 3:26. I couldn't really sleep because I was thinking of too much about my dream from last night AND my dog was barking a lot. I eventually got frustrated and put him in my neighboring room, where my grandma was sleeping. I eventually got back to sleep.

      Dream 2:

I remember playing Empire: Total War. That is all.

      Dream 3:

This one was a false awakening. I went out of my room and started reading a book on the living room couch. Then I started noticing that the house was vibrating! I went downstairs into the basement and noticed that the house wasn't completely on the ground. It was lifted up slightly by a piece of wood. "That must explained the vibrations," I thought to myself. I probably thought the boiler was making the house vibrate, combined with the house lifted up slightly.
(In real life, it probably was the train passing.)

I eventually noticed the illogical sense behind this, and turned lucid. A sudden rush of energy and vibrations came over me. I heard a sound similar to a helicopter starting up as I turned lucid, too. I suddenly imagined the TARDIS (probably as a reality check). I suddenly saw the TARDIS levitating off the ground, and me, as a camera, rotating around it as I lifted off the ground. I then tried to do something else, but I "pressed the wrong button", and accidentally opened my real eyes. I woke up to the sound of my dog barking again.
    5. Broken Camera (Should have thought to RC)

      by , 08-19-2013 at 11:43 PM
      Fragment:

I ran to get my camera to take pictures of some beautiful butterflies in my garage. After I got my camera I was walking with Cathy J down some stone stairs when I dropped my camera. I was glad that my camera was shock proof. But when I went to pick up my camera I saw that it was in multiple pieces and that there would be no way to fix it. I was so upset I wanted to cry.

I have to remember that camera problems are my most common dream sign.

    6. Airplane; taking pics; homeless guy;

      Friday 8/9/13

      Last night bed 12:30 - 9am

DR 1 - I'm in a sleek airplane. Just like the one on Hawaii 5-0 last night.

DR 2 - I'm looking at something pretty in a distance, trying to figure out, what it is. I realize it's a small island with it's reflection in calm urban lake surrounding it. Trees on the island are of fall colors. Deep orange, yellow. I'm taking a picture of it with my camera and as I zoom in, I see incredible details. Ground with no grass, fallen branches. I need to zoom out a little to see the island.

DR 3 - I'm standing in front of my aunties door with a homeless guy. He puts piece of plastic in my shopping bag I'm holding and a piece of broken hockey stick. Those two pieces are of same shape. He asks me to buy him another piece of plastic like that for his foot, coz that one broke.

He is also drug addict. Person living in there is his mentor. I'm going inside to look for him, but a guy tells me, he is in the hospital for a rehab. He tells me to eavesdrop by my aunties bedroom door. I lean over, but don't like doing it so I leave.

DR 4 - I'm in a large one story house. Hear some noise, but don't see anything. Few minutes later a young guy comes to my view by the sliding door. he just climed up the dirt hill to the house. He is all bloody, His elbows and knees have dried up blood and some deep scrapes. i bet he took a tumble while hiking. Then two guys are holding up someone between them. He is also battered, I'm thinking they all had some hiking accident. I let them in.

(I think this was the first dream of the night and there was a lot more after this happening in the house.)

I'm glad my recall is back up. I'm also going to bed sooner than I used to and that could be a reason as well. Tried the looking at eyelids and saying I'm dreaming like last night, but didn't have any results from that.

    7. LD: Flying, Touching Things, Sam

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:33 PM
      4-27-10

I was having camera troubles, and I decided that I had to be dreaming. I took off flying. I remember reaching out and trying to touch things as I flew so I would feel more part of the dream.

Then things got kind of weird and kind of became a sex dream. I realize I wasn't fully lucid in parts. Like I thought Sam from Supernaturals was my boyfriend. But I do remember I kept saying, "This is my deam...we're going to do it my way." I really don't remember a whole lot.

    8. LD: Flying through Sprinklers, Using Senses

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:31 PM
      4-10-10

Lucid Dream (maybe this is several dreams):

I had gone on this trip with a group of girls. We were staying in this awful motel room that was decorated in burgandy and pink. I took out my camera and tried to take pictures but the battery was wrong. I took it out, and it wasn't the right one. I was mad because I couldn't take any more pictures on this trip.

I didn't go lucid at that point.

Later we were in an airport watching these huge jets take off. Then I was on a plane. Seems like something happened, like we almost hit a building. But I don't really remember that.

Then I was back at home in my childhood house. I was in the backyard. I don't remember what triggered lucidity. But I suddenly knew I was dreaming and flew up in the air a bit. I felt a bit unstable in the dream, so I rubbed my hands together. I realized that it had been forever since I had done this in a dream. I noticed that it really did bring me back in to the dream. I felt more physically there.

I looked over the fence into the neighbor's yard. They had their sprinklers on. I knew I wanted to go through the sprinklers. I thought that it was either a Task of the Month from the past...or something that I had decided at one point I wanted to do. So I swooped down until the water was sprinkling on me. The water felt very real.

I flew back up. I then remembered reading on of my LDs from a long time ago where I had used my five senses...and how that had made the dream way more meaningful. So I flew over to my roof and rubbed, my hand all along the brown asphalt shingles. It was satisfying to feel the roughness under my fingertips.

I then remember one of the other Tasks that I had been wanted to try for a while now was to meet a fictional character. The one that popped into my head was a character from a story that I had started writing myself a while ago. I flew back up and looked into the neighbors yard again and saw a wheelchair. I thought it was empty at first. But as I got closer I saw a child sitting in it. I wondered if this was my character as a child. He started talking to me. What he said didn't make sense. But I thougth it was cool that he was interacting with me.
    9. Task of the Month: Standing on my Head--both versions

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:24 PM
      4-2-10

I read about the Lucid Tasks yesterday and told myself the next time I was lucid I would do those. Apparently it's good for me to set goals like that becasue I got lucid last night and completed both tasks.

      Lucid Tasks Dream:

I was having camera problems and was feeling very frustrated. There was something I really wanted to take a picture of (though I can't remember what it was).

Something in my mind reminded me that this meant that there was a chance I was dreaming. I didn't want to think about that possibility because that meant that whatever it was that I was taking a picture of was not real, and I really wanted it to be real.

But I decided to try to fly anyway, and wasn't too surprised when I took off gliding and knew that this was a dream.

I then remembered the Tasks that I wanted to try.

I landed on the ground again. I was on the side of a nearly empty city street. I could see no cars and very few people.

I decided to try the basic task first--the simple headstand. So I bent over with my hands down, just like I would do a hand stand in a pool. I put my head on the pavement and tried to balance my legs in the air. At first I was having trouble maintaining balance. I had to tel myellf, "Oh come on... this is a dream. I should be able to do this with no problems." And at that I steadied myself and held a headstand.

Pleased with myself, I decided to try the more advanced version of a headstand. I wasn't sure how this one would work. I had never separated body parts on a dream before. I had no idea if they would come off easily or not. Would it hurt at all?

I grabbed my head in my hands and started giving a sideways pull. I wasn't sure if anything was happening. Then I noticed my shadow on the ground in front of me and I realized that that would be a great help.

I then watched as I slid my head off my shoulders (no pain or discomfort at all) and lowered it to the ground. I also didn't noticed any change with the way I was viewing things. My vision remained focused on the shadow.

I placed my head on the ground next to my feet. I felt no sensation on my head at all as I carefully stepped up on my head. My feet, however, were bare, and I could feel my head and hair under my feet. I stood there for a moment.

And then must have lost lucidity because I remember nothing else.
    10. LD: Flying over Ocean

      by , 07-06-2013 at 04:20 PM
      3-22-10

I was at the beach and seeing all kinds of cool sea life along the shore. I pulled out my camera to take some pictures. But when I pushed the button to take a picture nothing happened. Plus the battery was almost dead.

I said to myself, "Dang....why does this always happen to me?"

Then I thought, "Doesn't this always happen to me in dreams? Too bad this isn't a dream. This is way too real."

And then I thought, "Well, maybe I should just make sure....."

And I took off running for the water and jumped...and I started soaring over the water.

And I thought....."Well...what do you know....it's a dream after all."

I flew over the ocean for a moment then dropped into the water.

      And then....my alarm went off.

I had about 15 seconds of lucidity.

      Friday 6/21/13

Last night bed 12:20 - 5:15am WBTB 5:15 - 6:22 Took GM 4mg+choline 300mg at 6:22 Had to get up from bed and go back at 7:10.

Got up at 10:11, after LDs and a very long and detailed regular dream.

I thought it will be a bust. I had to get up twice and got back to bed just 10 min before GM should have been on peak of it's action.

I started having the bright screen and some HH on bright background. I remember some writing that was sideways, as if you looked at book while laying down on your side. (That's how I was, on my right side on my sofa.) I was thinking too bad, because I'm nowhere near to asleep.

In fact I was still wide awake, or perhaps just aware, but felt like awake, when I got an idea to urge a LD. I remembered this post by serclif from yesterday, how he felt sliding off the bed. Well, I love my sensations, so I thought why not trying that. I gently pushed my left shoulder and it took over. Slowly falling over the edge of the sofa and pulling rest of me with it. It was similar feeling to rollin out, but perhaps little more controlled, since I didn't roll over, just drifted to the ground in super slow motion.

I did stabilize in few LDs, remember touching the wall and saying, "yup, feels the same as my wall, because it is my wall".

      WILD and DEILDs

      1. Remember being on my moms balcony from my bedroom, trying to get over the cables she has there for drying clothes. I felt the cables and the tension in them.

      2. Same balcony, trying to prop myself over the cables.

In all of the remaining LDs I'm naked from waste up. Rest of me is wearing blue jeans. I must say I look good. Young and tanned.

      3. After exit, I was kinda surprised and took me a second to get on my knees and get up. I went to the window and got out. There is nobody outside my apartment. It looks a little different.

      4. After exit, I already knew what's going on. Jumped up and started singing some show tune, that I'm not even sure I know. Out the window again. Outside of the building, different than my apartment. I hear doors closing in the underground hallway. I walk in, place is lit by soft yellow light. I see one lady just closing the door from inside and she is not interested in my nakedness.

      5. On the ground again, no surprise, I know the dril. Jump up, happy as can be, strike a pose and belt out a showtune. I get out of the building and find myself on a wide sidewalk next to the street with low traffic. It's winter and ground is covered in snow. I walk down the sidewalk and see one guy. I try to get him interested in my nakedness, but he makes a wide berth around me. I stalk him for a while, then give up.

      6. I end up on the ground. Can't see, but I know I'm next to my sofa. Try to get out through the wall. I end up on the same wide sidewalk. It's still winter, but there are only few signs of snow on the ground. I hear a sound saying "this is a better place, there is lots of Stanford students here". And it's right. Student's are walking alone and in groups. They talk amongs themselves, having fun. I try to attract their attention and they see me.

      7. I end up on the ground. Can't see again, so I figure if I just keep rolling, I will roll myself out of the builing. I roll for a while, I should have been out already, but I'm not.

      8. I keep rolling again, this time for a shorter distance. Can't see.

      9. I can't see, try to pry my eyes open with my hands.

I feel the ride is over. Not ready for that yet, decide to go to sleep and see if I can get a DILD.

Gawd, I just remembered I did the thumb/palm RC at least 2-3 times and it was awful. It's been progressively worse everytime I do it, because it bacame painfull and i feel as if it was tearing through my flesh. I gotta stop practicing this RC.

      Reg, DR -
I'm riding in a car with someone, sittin on the back seat on driver side. We are in Paris and i'm looking at the map of the city. We went there to do something. I'm telling them that we should at least go and see the Eifel tower, since we are already in Paris. They agree and we start driving. I'm looking at all the great buildings and I realize I don't have my camera, since we only went for a short trip, not anticipating a sightseeing tour. Suddenly the driver doesn't wanna drive. I look out the windshield and traffic is heavy in this modern city. I offer to drive.

I end up with a friend of mine walking down the street full of street food vendors. So much beautiful looking food. Someone offers us a sample of pecan cake. Holly shit, it's so good. Pecans are crunchy and it tastes heavenly. We have to take some of it home.

We decide to eat. I want to try some small, flat fish, that's grilled to perfection. They have a ton of it in every booth. Then there are other see creatures and salads and soups and sweets. I take a plate, because that's what my friend does and go to the vendor to pile on some food for me. But then my friend puts the plate down. She speaks french so I ask her to help me. She is already sitting with a plate full of some grey looking stew and she says she won't help me. I guess she is pissedd because she picked crappy food.

So I go to the guy and tell him all the words i know in French. I say "bonjur monsieur, como ce va" and "pettit" plate. I would like a big plate, but all I can say is petit. He picks a big plate anyway and I ask for the grilled fish, but he is giving me some boiled fish, that's thicker than the grilled one. I'm telling him no, but he gives me that anyway. And I wanna know what the other food is, because he is admiring some fish eyes in a jar, and I for sure don't wanna that.

Then there is a guy, who jumps over the 12 foot fence and climbes on a double decker tour bus with open top. Everybody cheers for him.

    12. Miniature Animals

      by , 01-03-2013 at 07:00 PM
I was at this place that at first I thought was Disneyland because of the Tiki decorations. I wanted to take pictures of the different statues. But then I noticed this lady. I saw that she had bird seed and was putting it in feeders. I looked at this little box-cage that was attached to a pole. Inside was the tiniest little owl I had ever seen. I took some pictures, hoping they would turn out. (I remembered my last dream whare I had had some camera trouble.) I asked her what they fed that little owl. I knew mice would be too big. She pulled out an eye dropper full of this mushy stuff and squirted it in the owls mouth. She explained becasue the owl had hair near it's behind that this was the least messy way to feed it. (It made sense to me in the dream). Then I looked and saw all these other miniature animals. The one that really caught my eye was the tiny gorilla. It was in a box-like cage and was only about 4 inches tall. Again, I started taking pictures. Then I started taking pictures of these transparent blue lizards.

At some point I noticed that one of the lizards was loose. I scooped it up and put it back in what I thought was it's cage. But then I noticed other lizards in the cage. The one I put in there suddenly grabbed another lizard in its mouth and started to swallow it. I grabbed at the lizard to stop it. The shock from this woke me up.

    13. Flying over the Lake at Night

      by , 01-03-2013 at 06:48 PM
      Dream 1:

I was flying over a lake at night. Everything was so beautiful. I was skimming right over the surface of the water occasionally barely touching the water. I had my camera. I was trying to take pictures. I was trying to get the perfect shot of the moon peeking out behind a cliff...then this truck that was sitting in the shallow part of the water. But I was wearing gloves and I later found out that I was pushing the wrong place. My camera looked more like my mp3 player. I was frustrated because I had wanted all those cool shots. And then I was having trouble manuvering and was almost bumping in to rocks and other things poking out from the water. I also started getting more wet.

This is the kind of dream I would have while lucid. But in this case, there was never any lucidity.

The truck in this dream looked just like the one we hiked by two days ago.

    14. Visiting Africa

      by , 11-15-2012 at 05:24 PM
      Dream:

I was visiting Africa with Elden and a group of people. I was taking pictures of everything. My camera worked but I had to push extra hard on the button to make the picture take. (It reminded me, in retrospect, of having to push extra hard on the brake pedal to make my dream cars slow down). At one point we were on the beach and some of the guys in the group were playing guitar and the African people, especially the children, were surrounding them and dancing. I remember taking pictures of these huge flocks of sea birds.

    15. LD: Flying with DC

      by , 11-14-2012 at 05:44 PM
      11-25-09

I had a lucid dream last night. I decided I wanted to have one and --blam--I had one.

I was awakened and did a WBTB.

      Dream:

I was looking around in what was supposed to be a (my?) kitchen. I suddenly saw this large brown bird on top of the fridge. At first I thought it was dead, but then I realized that it was making these sad peeping noises.. It was stuck in some ice that had formed on top of the fridge. I went over to it and did something to loosen the ice and free the bird.

At that point I noticed that it was an owl. It flew over to where my mom was standing. It was having a little trouble flying. It still had some ice on his lower feathers.

We were on this porch area. I noticed other birds in the area. As I looked closer I saw that they were mostly owls. I had never seen so many owls in one place before. I was fascinated. Harry Potter crossed my mind and I wondered if this was significant to have the owls all out in the daytime like this.

But then I did what I always do in a situation like this. I grabbed my camera. I started taking pictures of all the amazing different kinds of owls. I was able to get some great close ups. I was feeling so great about this.

And then I went and tried looking back at what I had taken. Not a single picture had taken. My camera wasn't working properly. I was suddenly very very upset.

But then this little thought came into my mind. What if this was a dream? I didn't want the owls to be a dream. I thought this was too cool. But as I thought about it more, I was becoming more and more convinced that the owls couldn't be real.

Things faded a bit at this point. I then remember forcing myself into the dream. I didn't have a body at this point, but I made myself feel like I was flying. I imagined what it would be like to fly with my nonexistent arms out in front of me.

That worked. I soon could start seeing my arms appear and my body solidify. and I knew that I was safely in the dream. I was inside a house, so I kind of hopped and flew over to a door and then flew out.

AS I flew I remembered how much fun it was in a previously LD to find a dream character and fly with them. I looked around for someone who looked like the "right one".

I flew over a lot of kids or very average looking (boring?) people. The I saw a guy with reddish brown hair sitting on a park bench that reminded me of a guy that lives in my neighborhood in real life. I decided that he would be interesting to fly with. So I flew over to him and took him by his arm and said, "Come fly with me".

As soon as I did that I was disappointed in myself. Where was the fun in that? I needed to build up to that point. Start a conversation and ask him things like, "Do you believe in magic?" or something to that effect. Maybe get into an argument about the possiblilities of flying. And then--blam--surprise him.

But no I just took him by the arms and flew. He had no reaction whatsoever. At one point he started slipping from my grip and I told him to put his arm around my neck.

The dream continued with us just flying around. But I remember nothing really interesting.

      Oh well.

But I did get to fly.

And I did get to practice my lucidity skills.

I'll get it better next time.
