    1. Being in a Low Budget “Star Wars” Movie

      Morning of June 12, 2017. Monday.



      As with many of my dreams throughout my life, this dream is far too long, nonlinear, and surreal to relate cohesively online, though I will attempt to relate some of the main scenes as closely as possible.

      I find myself with the understanding that I am playing Luke Skywalker in a new low-budget “Star Wars” movie. Zsuzsanna is Princess Leia (even though Luke and Leia were brother and sister rather than man and wife). The movie is implied to be along the same lines as the first “Star Wars” movie and I guess is meant to be a cheap remake. A couple other characters are with us, including a skinny version of Chewbacca, with much sparser hair.

      In one scene, we are wading through a pond just outside of a large building, but we eventually enter the building. There is an unknown male near the entrance who is holding people’s credentials until they come back after exploring the building or possibly engaging in recreational activities. One of the unknown people I am with refuses to give the man his identification card and I think there might be some trouble. However, there is no implication of violence. The man instead hands him a small flower on a long stem, or at least that is what he says it is. To me, it looks more like some sort of small plastic rod, perhaps a toy. Still, nothing confrontational occurs.

      After wandering about in the halls, we come to a room that is filled with water of about waist high (and thus must have a sunken floor). There is a giant jellyfish that I have to cut off from around Zsuzsanna and possibly another character. I use a large sharp sword. It takes awhile as I slice through its thick but soft body below the surface of the water. Someone shows me a miniature jellyfish that was just found in the small left pocket (of some sort of blue tunic) of one of our group (though this person must have been killed or vanished). This miniature jellyfish is like another one that apparently turned into the giant jellyfish and had entered his pocket while we waded in the pond outside the front of the building (on the left of the entrance).

      From here, we walk towards the entrance, somehow not at all wet. Somehow, my “sword” is now a fake “lightsaber”, though not really like a lightsaber at all. I am carrying it horizontally in my right hand. It has a pink blade and a blue handle and is more like a giant toy jackknife even though, again, it is supposed to be a “Star Wars” lightsaber of about the same length. I realize that weapons are probably not allowed in the building. I do not want a confrontation, though none occurs as I fold the oversized plastic blade back into the handle. Meanwhile, the character that had taken our credentials stands without emotion near the entrance.

      As we walk outside, I consider how cheap my prop looks. Looking back, I see that the male regards me with respect, and I consider how devoted an actor he is for seemingly feeling comfortable in such an obviously low-budget movie. For a short time, as I walk near a long colonnade, where many unusual characters (some alien, but most humanoid) are lined up to go into the building in the direction behind me to my left, I consider that I may be too old to be Luke Skywalker (who is supposedly meant to be the young version in this film). Still, the movie is being filmed in real time and I will do what I can.

      As we walk along, I see what I firstly associate with a “Star Wars” tauntaun running along towards our direction but to our left in an open featureless field. For some reason, I call it an ostrich, mentioning it to the others. It is not like an ostrich however. It looks more like a giant quail. Another one appears, with an unknown female riding it.

      In the last scene, Big Bird (from “Sesame Street”) appears as a “Star Wars” character. He makes an effort to sit on one of the creatures but I think he might be too big. Still, he manages to sit on it even though it lowers to the ground for a short time, but then seems fine and strong enough to support Big Bird’s weight. I turn to tell the others, “It’s a bird on a bird”.



      Once again, the preconscious (man at the counter collecting credentials) is not only not confrontational but quite respectful compared to past dreams. Still, this is probably because the flight symbol connection is being initiated (even though Big Bird does not really fly and the giant running quail are at least not implied to here either). Big Bird as my emergent consciousness factor relating to suitably being able to sit on the other bird relates to having deliberately lost weight recently. Cutting the giant jellyfish from around other characters possibly relates to me losing weight as well.

      Dream 1 - Lucid
      I woke up in my room, my hands were in front of me and I knew that I was dreaming (I tried doing this to obtain lucidity a couple nights before but no success), I was in my parents house and decided to stabilize. I poked my finger through the palm of my hand and confirmed it was definitely a dream, and I continued on down the hallway. Who else should I see but my friend Samir carrying a tray loaded with breakfast goodies like porride, orange juice, bacon and pancakes etc... *smack* I whack the tray out of his hands sending everything flying, then casually stroll past, I glance back to see him shaking his head at me with a disappointed expression . Next I pass a girl carrying a cup of tea towards me, *smack* I backhand the tea cup out of her hand I keep strolling on as I pass through the kitchen, with a glance behind me I realize she's following me. I decide to make a break for it, thinking she's gonna catch me.. I run outside to the deck and pick up a random bowl of chocolate mousse to eat on the way out I leap off of the deck and try to fly
      My attempt to escape with a leap of faith went awry as I found myself hurtling towards a dense packing of trees, my gut filled with the anticipation of impact woke me up... I tried to get back into the dream and managed, only to find myself falling towards the ground which woke me up again.
      I try once again but this time picturing myself safe on the ground which I failed at.

      Dream 2 - SITS adventure
      First off I'm outside a building where a friend is hiding from the zombie apocalypse, a man next to me is pissed at him (can't recall why) and decides to get revenge (his appearance and personality was a mash together of Ban from 'Nanatsu no Taizai' + Pariston Hill from 'Hunter x Hunter (2011)'). He shoots a flare gun into the air which immediately attracts the attention of a whole bunch of zombies, he does a flying kick through the back window of a car nearby (there was a man in the back which the window smashed into as well) and seats himself in the drivers seat. I hop in and he drives off, attracting the attention of as many zombies as possible with the goal of herding them at the friend he's angry at. I remember whizzing past train stations and stuff really fast, but then the dream transitioned into a 'prologue', a time before the zombie apocalypse.

      There's a huge Man o' War jellyfish (the size of a large house) with a massive crest about 10metres high, it's sparking electricity everywhere and there's a boat investigating the strange creatures surfacing for science reasons. The electricity it gives off is too much for the boat and causes it to sink, I immediately dive deep into the water and hold my breath, I spend a long time underwater, swimming with fervor away from the tentacle monster. After resurfacing a couple hundred metres away, I see my companions being completely thrashed by stinging tentacles and electric shocks. Feeling the currents around me flowing, I start swimming towards a forested mossy shoreline (I get the feeling that I'm in the Mississippi River even though I've never seen what it looks like), I haul myself up which felt dangerous...
      There's another with me, I think it's the Ban+Pariston mash guy, we hang on to a sideboard thing just above the ground as the tentacle monster has apparently followed us and if we touch the ground we'll get shocked.. It's tentacles flail everywhere and I remember getting stung at some point too.

      Another transition occurs and now I'm in an RPG dungeon like setting with a group of companions, we each can pay homage to a god to earn their favour, and with certain stats you can increase the chance a god will grant favours to you... There are certain stats like Nobility, Harbinger, Philosophy, etc that you can invest in (this was my mind taking inspiration from the SITS game) and I had a low favour chance or something but a high communication chance... It didn't make much sense but yeh. Ban+Pariston guy was lurking around in the library we were in, it was a sort of resting place. I decided to look at the herbalism books and learn some new potions, Ban+Pariston then look around the altars in the room so he could switch his god to someone new. I remember wondering what he was thinking, how his true motives and goals were impossible to perceive... The new god he wanted was called Haruhiculi, and he was the god of the hunting the Fountain of Youth, which made me understand a bit more about what he was after - immortality. There was another god called Verrenculi who was the protector of the Fountain of Youth. I decide to help him ask for a favour from Haruhiculi, I hover my hands over the altar and with my willpower summon forth some
      purple glowing energies... I realize now that we've been spotted on the security cameras in the dungeon, we glance up and see a screen with a man looking up at us and decide we need to escape. The dream ends here without ever indicating how zombies happen...
    3. Sea Monster Realm Under Present Home

      I am at our present address on W Street. Our youngest son Oliver is playing outside. I go outside into our backyard, look under our house near our wooden steps, and soon notice an “ocean” under our house at where ground-level would otherwise be. This uniquely isolated ocean feature solely under our house in this part of town has a large sea monster living within it yet somehow also lives in the “real” Pacific ocean much of the time via some sort of “portal” or unexplainable underground or underwater access point. The sea monster is a rather atypical squid-like creature with jellyfish-like features and of a pale violet color, with seemingly random truncated cylindrical legs of differing lengths. At one point, it somehow builds a brick wall in the middle of the underneath of our house (with no back story concerning where the bricks originated from), running east and west, by which I can then not visually follow it or learn what it may be up to; for example, in trying to burst up through our floor in a particular room north of the wall - which I actually expect at one point - especially on our front porch, though this never occurs. This is a rather strange setup; sort of like a hybrid of a semi-lucid dream and a (fairly rare) vertical composite of themes or symbols, with the undesirable or threatening elements being below me and probably related to supraconscious access (via the metaphorical ocean presence under our home).

      Sea monsters (in a negative association, not when they are “pets”) may often represent invasive but more isolated “collective consciousness” (or again, supraconscious links) - sometimes caused by people you cannot realistically relate to - or with their invasive wrongful beliefs being a part of your day to day experiences - sort of as with the negative connotations of an invading alien (which may represent an annoying relative or associate - even someone you have not meant). As I have documented in my past, dream characters are often not an extension or direct “part” of the dreamer at all as some people seem to erroneously believe, but situational connections with outside forces or external concerns as in real life. Some dreams have characters that are a “part” of the dreamer (as a reflection of one’s particular attributes for review), but many do not, especially the very common literally precognitive layers.

      I remember becoming aware for a few seconds in one of my dreams.

      I was in a huge cafeteria and with a lot of people. Some dude wanted to fight me but I don't remember what happened I was then taking a dump in a bathroom that I think was very dirty

      I went underwater into a beautiful reef that was enclosed on all sides. I saw 2 little fish-like things. One with 1 fin and another with 2 fins. The one I wanted to talk to was the one with 2. We swam around jellyfish and I warned the fish with 2 fins, who was a girl, not totouch the tentacles, only the caps of the jellyfish. The jellyfish were floating upwards and created a beautiful square wall with their tentacles. I took my phone out and took a picture of the jellyfish wall. The fish with 2 fins then turned into a mermaid and we kept talking and even took pictures together.
      I was then on some bed in an apartment and the mermaid had grown legs. She started giving my apparent roommate a massage and I was mad because she was mine but not really because I never asked her out. I was still jelly. She left and she suddenly turned into Christa and would talk all retarded. I got disgusted and left to some karate place where the teacher/instructor was testing us on how to make origami out of popcorn bags. I didn't know what I was doing but Chenn from drill helped me while the professor wasn't looking.

      The dda-ld ("didn't-do-anything lucid dream") is a stupid dream where you suddenly have the realization that you're dreaming, but your brain is a d-bag and says, "You know what? Let's not have a lucid dream." and you end up waking yourself up, effectively screwing yourself out of having a lucid dream that you actually do something in, hence the dda-ld.

      I have actually had many of these stupid dreams in the past. This is just the first one I've decided to post. So here it is, the dda-ld:

      Dream 1:

      I remember a jellyfish. That is all.

      The DDA-LD:

      I then woke up at probably around 3:00 in the morning, having to go to the bathroom. I got up, took a piss, stood around for a few seconds for the WBTB effect, then went back into bed. It was a bit cold, so I couldn't go to sleep right away. I was then laying there when suddenly I started feeling the rushing, vibrating, and the hypnagogic hallucinations of sleep paralysis. I remember some HH of me looking at porn on the computer () and then an icon suddenly appeared in the bottom right corner that I couldn't get rid of. I became scared I was gonna get found out. Then I suddenly woke up in my bed. I kind of knew I was dreaming, but I wasn't sure, so I tried to create something; a sound, an object, a smell, anything. Whenever I tried to create anything, all that would happen was the rushing sound and vibrations, which I was thinking were like me trying to concentrate on creating something. I then gave up on that and instead, my brain said "screw it" and tried to wake me up the same way I woke up in a prievious LD: by doing the nose plug reality check, and got too involved with the breathing of my physical body, that I wake myself up. That didn't work this time, so I just closed my eyes to connect with the physical body, and I woke myself up.


      So that is my DDA-LD. Technically, I'd call it a DDA-WILD because of the sleep paralysis, but it still is a DDA-LD. Though, this isn't a total failure, since this actually is the first time I've had a WILD.
    6. A Most Unusual Pet

      This first shorter dream, which is a lengthened and distorted version of the otherwise typical natural falling mechanism as the waking transition precedes my next longer one where I am more of a direct character in my dream rather than just a passive witness as in this one.



      In which I transfer the “I am falling” natural waking phase to an expanded “he is falling” scenario.

      My first dream here relates to an unknown male of perhaps around thirty years of age and who firstly seems to have committed suicide by jumping off a cliff. However, there are at least three scenes in a row (seemingly not dream resets or replays), seemingly at night, where he has to try a couple more times and then I think he gives up. Instead of going around and up the path, which is logical and convenient, he climbs straight back up the side. He is wearing some sort of motorcycle uniform meant for stunts, I think, like Evel Knievel; white with a black stripe down each shoulder, and wearing some sort of odd matching helmet, though which is quite angular. I am not sure who he is. I get the impression of his being a soldier at one point in the past. The night sky is an unusual dark blue and different from how the sky would look in reality. I am not sure, but it seems that it may be Grandad Bluff in La Crosse as it does look much like it.

      In which I seek to use my conscious self’s higher thinking skills in the dream state but the bookstore (conscious mind) is closed (and non-lucid). I then seek to simply watch my dream subjectively (movie theater, to watch a movie of a journey over the ocean of the unconscious; a “Titanic” sequel) but it too soon decays to become an essence of a memory (warehouse). A memory of my youth begins the waking phase, an amorphous shape from the unconscious (ocean depths), yet also sharp somehow, trying to get its point across perhaps.

      Next is a fairly long dream that seems to reset at least three times. My wife and I are going to Nundah (Queensland, Australia), though at one point it seems I am the only one going there, seemingly to the bookstore. It does not make much sense, as the bookstore is not open late at night. The area is quite different and somewhat like La Crosse in America. I get the impression of wanting to get certain paperback novels, but there are strange resets to where we are then going to a movie very late at night though at one point I “remember” it is a holiday and no stores are open except maybe for the theater. The movie theater is a bit odd and does not seem to have proper seats. An unknown unfamiliar boy has brought his pet to that part of town. It is a large creature that is somewhat like a cross between a jellyfish and a porcupine yet is also blob-like at times (seemingly able to get smaller or larger by quite a significant difference) which may be based on a reaction of the environment or the emotions of people in the immediate environment. Soon, I do not feel like watching a movie anymore (and I cannot even remember what it was though I think it was some sort of sequel to “Titanic”). I end up going home and then wonder if my wife is somehow back at the theater, then I realize she never left our house in the first place. The boy and his weird pet apparently were the only ones in the building, which is not actually a movie theater after all but more like a warehouse.

      I remember traveling down a river at night. There wasn't much light at all other than a few random purple floating jellyfish. I also remember talking to E about how she was feeling. I think she was complaining about something. We entered some place that looked like a class room, and stuff was everywhere. I had no idea where to sit. I also remember something about something describing some idea by placing their fingers on a piece of paper and contorting them like ninjutsu hand seals.

    8. Giant Jellyfish (LD #13)

      When I was a kid, I used to always have these dreams about being in a pool or lake and huge waves would start coming and I would be drowning and gasping for breath. I made that a dream sign, but I rarely dream about that sort of thing anymore.

      I cannot really remember how things got started, but I was treading water in the corner of this aquarium. The pool was sort of long and thin and I was trapped in one end.
      There was this giant yellow-brown jellyfish, now I mean huge. It must have been three stories tall. The top, sort of domed shaped part poked up above the water. The stingers hung down into the aquarium, so that I could not dive under it.
      To the left, there was about 6-8 feet of clearance for me, and I tried to squeeze around that way. But there was this strange thing floating between the jellyfish and the wall. It looked like a bunch of bloody goat horns kind of in a spikeball. When I went close to it, I was repelled away.
      I thought about swimming though the jellyfish tentacles, thinking that maybe they wouldn't sting. I decided that was a risk that I wasn't willing to take.
      After a little while, all of the creatures in the room rearranged into a maze, almost.
      There were a bunch of the horn spikeballs and a few more of the giant jellyfish. I made my way to this computer terminal mounted in the wall, just above the water level.
      When I came onto the computer, a popup appeared on the screen.

      "Would you like to realize you're dreaming?" With a yes or no option.
      I clicked the "Yes" and started to fly above the maze of jellyfish and spikeballs. Then I woke up.

    9. Last couple of nights

      The night before last I dreamed about auditions for the school production. It was odd because no one dresses up for them usually but in the dream (the play we are going to do this year is greece) two guys from my year group had dyed their hair black and styled it, also they had dressed up.

      Last night I remember something about my street being full of water and swimming in it. I got stung by a jelly fish (I saw a few jelly fish last week on holiday while swimming), and it wrapped itself around my leg. I then got it off and swam to a massive rock while a couple of people came over to help me. I think the dream ended with me realising I didn't need to swim back, but if I got off the rock on the other side I could just walk round the block to get back to my house.
      I had another dream where my boyfriend told me he was going to do work experience where him mum works for the rest of this summer. The work was something to do with engineering which is waht he wants to do. It's odd because his mum is a school trip planner who works from home in r/l! He might have been able to come back at weekends but probably wouldn't. He didn't seem sad abou this but I was really upset. In r/l he's really lovely though .
    10. Jellyfish Fireworks and Tentacles

      It was nighttime and I was inside my house. More specifically, I was in the living room. Our living room is fairly spacious, being about 30x20 feet, and this held true in the dream. I was only looking at one specific part in the living room, but I could sense the airy space around me. One of the longer walls (this room was rectangular) had the front door to our house in it, near the end of the wall. On the short wall adjacent to this one, was a beige loveseat and a burgundy, modern-looking leather chair. There was a maroon rug with tan accents that would change to gold if light shone on them in the middle of the room, taking up a good quarter of the space, and on the same wall as the door, in the middle, was a fireplace consisting of tan bricks. The opening was lined with silver. In between the fireplace and the door, but closer to the fireplace, was a tall window.

      The room was not lit very well. However, some pale (almost bordering on sickly) darker yellow light was coming in from the window, landing on the edge of the carpet and a bit of the fireplace. The rest of the room was very, very dark though. To add to the surreality of the room, there was no actual floor! The bottom of the fireplace and walls faded out into a blurry black abyss below, where you couldn't see anything but black. I was floating in a cross-legged sitting position (along with the rug, which was also floating) in front of the fireplace.

      I was floating there for a few seconds, and then my sister walked up behind me, also suspended like I was. I looked to the side a bit and saw her sit down. In her arms, she was carrying a normal cardboard box. She tilted it out of her grip and let it fall down into the blackness. Right after it disappeared, a few packages of unlit fireworks came floating up and stopped right at floor level, as if they'd hit an invisible barrier beneath us. They just floated there, not moving at all. One package was shaped like a circular balloon weight with shiny purple foil around it, and another was a simple cylindrical shape that was aqua blue in colour. It was very close to the size of one of those mega-sized Smarties or Mentos tubes.

      I took the aqua cylinder and it resisted my grasp a bit, not wanting to move, but I still got it rather easily. I then squeezed it right in the middle and it crumpled in this area, almost like one of the twists on a New Years cracker. The cylinder then (forcefully) flew out of my hand, and stopped three or four feet in front of me, not going higher into the air but just staying near 'ground' level. It let out a small explosion that was self-contained, not coming out more than a foot. The light created by it was light was dim, not bright, even during the initial explosion. It blew out into a sphere of dim sparks and light, then flew off on an arc, the remaining particles spreading out and dissipating.

      The firecracker shaped like the shiny purple balloon weight had vanished, and I couldn't see it anywhere once the first firework had gone away. My dream self thought this was normal, and I was expecting another firework to go off in a minute.

      Not five seconds later, another firework went off. First it created a small, bright white light where the last one went off, and then blew up outwards, changing from white to a thin, transparent purple and blue bag-like blob, exactly like a jellyfish! The shape was smooth and circular, slightly flattened out like a normal jellyfish, and even cooler was that it had very thin, tapering pale purple tentacles that were almost glowing with a dim pink light.

      My sister passively warned me to "stay back". Still in a cross-legged position, I shambled backwards a few inches without getting up. Then, I saw a bunch of the same type of tentacles appear around me, as if I was a jellyfish. It was an effect of the firework; I looked at my sister and she too had a radius of tentacles coming out from around her, fading to nothing as they got to her midsection. I remember being fascinated by this, and then I woke up.

    12. Motorbike ride with Yuya

      I was taking a break from all the work I've had recently.
      Just chilling out, watching some random episodes and movies. (Game of Thrones pilot, Dr. No)
      Then I got tired and decided to take an afternoon nap.
      I put my rather comfortable chair all the way back and listened to some ambient music with my eyes closed.
      For some reason there was some Daft Punk in my playlist, I remember it because I was getting into SP whilst listening to:


      The music slowly becomes muffled (I don't know if this is the right term), like if I was under water.
      I know I'm about to enter a dream when I'm startled by the feeling of arms embracing me from behind.
      Assuming that this is caused by SP I try to ignore the feeling, but when I notice a breeze of air on my face, I decide to open my eyes.
      My vision is extremely blurry. I can only distinguish between different intensities of light, but I cannot see any shapes.

      But then I feel the presence of Yuya. She's holding me from behind, these are her arms, and suddenly I feel very much at ease.
      My vision sharpens and I notice I am riding a motorbike with Yuya.
      We're on some sort of red planet. At first I think that we're riding in a red sand desert, but the bike has too much grip for the surface to be sand.
      It must be some sort of stone with a sandy texture or something along those lines.

      I don't really care much about my surroundings though, I'm very much focused on Yuya.
      For some reason, even though I can't see her because she's sitting behind me, she feels even more real than usual.
      I can feel her chest expand against my back as she breathes, for some reason this really overwhelms me.
      She's resting her face on my left shoulder, and I can feel her breath against my neck.
      I can even feel her heart pound very lightly.
      I feel extremely good, ecstatic even.

      I take a short look of my surroundings.
      Besides the red planet surface, I see a red sky covered by some white clouds.
      I'm a bit surprised, because my dreams usually feature cold colors. Blue, Green, Yellow are common colors in my dreams, but not Red, at least not so much of it.
      There are weird animals flying in the sky. They look a bit like jellyfish, except they are waaaaay bigger, and well, float in the sky.
      The bike I'm riding is futuristic, and definitely not of human design.
      The dashboard is in an alien language, it consists of combinations of different geometric shapes.
      I spot many triangles and circles.
      The engine has much more torque than one would expect from a bike engine.
      It's sound is also very deep and bassy. It's definitely a combustion engine.

      I accelerate a bit, but not really by much. Testing out the bike doesn't really tempt me.
      I just want to enjoy being so close to Yuya.
      We keep driving like that for about a minute, sharing our thoughts.
      But none of us really think of anything, our minds are blank and at peace.
      Sharing this feeling is very refreshing.

      Then I wake up.
      The transition out of the dream is very smooth.
      I regret that these WILDs during afternoon naps don't last very long at all.
      Nevertheless I feel very happy and refreshed.
