I can remember four dreams from last night. In the first, I was at a summer camp. It was just a day camp. I'm not sure what kind of summer camp it was, but it was indoors, in a building that looked kind of like my basement. There were a bunch of other kids and teenagers there. I recognized three people from last year - Zelda, a girl with copper-coloured skin and dark, wavy hair, and a girl and a boy whose names I couldn't remember. Zelda was wearing a yellow dress and had her hair, which fell almost to her shoulders, partially pulled back into a ponytail. She was pretty. Anyway, the group split into two. One group went upstairs, and the other stayed downstairs. I stayed downstairs, but the people I knew went upstairs. Soon, though, I found out that I was supposed to be with the other group, so I went back upstairs to find them. After a while, we went back downstairs into a dining area. We were seated at tables. Each person was supposed to have a "date". I hadn't known that, but I assumed my date was going to arrive anyway, even though I had no clue who my date actually was. Someone else came to my table (each table could seat, like, six people, I think), also waiting for their date. Someone came over and handed me a piece of paper with everyone's names on it, so I could choose who I wanted as my date. I checked off the box next to the name of the boy that I knew (I can't remember his name, though). Instead of him, though, four other boys came over. I don't remember the exact transition, but we somehow ended up on a bus, where the boys were bullying us. I figured it wasn't really a big deal, though, since I know taekwondo and felt confident I could defend myself if necessary. In my second dream last night, I was playing Petz 5, but it was nothing like Petz 5. It didn't even have any pets in it. I was scrolling through a list of minigames. In the thumbnail image for one of them, I noticed Deku Link (from Majora's Mask). I accidentally clicked on that game. It was like a platformer, except it scrolled down (and the scrolling was automatic, so you couldn't go too fast, or else you'd fall off the bottom of the screen). Before long, I'd fallen off the bottom of the screen. Instead of restarting the level, going to a "Game Over" screen, or anything else logical, it cut to a different scene (which looked like it was from a COMPLETELY different minigame, probably the next one) in a saloon. That's when I got that sudden "click" to lucidity. "This isn't Petz 5, is it?" I said, not exactly asking a question but, rather, declaring it out loud. "Nope," my brother answered. It turned out he had been behind me. We were in my parents' room, he was on the bed, and the "computer screen" was just projected onto the wall. Even though I was already certain I was dreaming, I did the hand RC just to double-check. Six fingers. Yep, I was dreaming. My brother said something about having been up at three in the morning to get on the bus (presumably, to the summer camp from the previous dream, even though he wasn't in that dream). I corrected him, telling him we got on the bus at seven and that I would know because I was there. I was still lucid, but I think the dream was trying to go back on autopilot, since arguing with my brother was apparently more important than any of my LD goals. I woke up soon after. I felt awake and fairly refreshed, even though it was still dark out, so I think that must have been the end of an REM cycle that woke me up. I went back to sleep and had a dream which fits neatly between the other two. This time, I was on the bus back from camp. The bus had one backwards-facing seat, so I decided to sit in that one. The bus stopped in a parking lot somewhere, where my mom was waiting. I was the only person to get off at that stop. After getting off, I realized I'd left my glasses on the bus, so I ran after the bus (it was already leaving), holding up a sign that said, "You forgot someone!" The bus stopped and let me back on. I boarded the bus, took my glasses, and left. I had one final dream last night. I was playing Wind Waker (I think) and came across an enemy that I think was either a Darknut or an Iron Knuckle (well, one of those things with a heavy suit of armour). When I got close to it, I noticed that it briefly turned red, then blue, then attempted to fire lasers at me. I figured out that red meant deactivated, while blue meant activated. I started fighting it, but this game had a weird control method. Like a DS game, it was controlled with a stylus. However, I was using a toothbrush (the back of it, not the part with the bristles) as the stylus... and I could somehow reach the screen just fine, even though I was sitting on my bed, and the screen was where my window should be (it was the same size, too. Anyway, I defeated it, and it turned red. However, it turned blue again shortly after, making me have to fight it again. This kept happening every time I defeated it, except it would only get partially revived most times. Eventually, the toothbrush got ruined from being used - rather harshly - as a stylus. I came up with a better idea for how to defeat the Darknut. My mom was in the room, so I said to her, "Get me a weapon, but nothing too sharp, so I don't accidentally damage the screen or hurt myself." What I really meant was for her to go to the kitchen and get a knife. For some reason, I thought that would make the Darknut easier to defeat. Then, I realized that whatever I used as a controller wouldn't matter, since it was the sword I had IN the game that mattered. Realizing that, I figured I could just use my hand, but not as a stylus; the game was apparently motion-controlled now, like a Kinect rather than a DS. However, I decided that would be a bad idea, since it could reach out of the screen and attack me if I used my hands.
And last night's dream continues! Well, sort of. This one was pretty vivid, too, but it got kinda fuzzy once I woke up. Actually, I can hardly remember specific details now. This time, it was more like a typical video game dream for me; I could only see the screen, like watching a dream in third-person, except I knew I was playing the game (in the other dream, I could still see my room). Also, other characters could actually talk, as opposed to having a dialog box pop up on the screen. I was playing the "new" Zelda game again (see my previous entry: http://www.dreamviews.com/blogs/fenn...a-games-37018/). This time, though, I'd already completed the game and was replaying it because I'd unlocked bonus stuff or something. I was in this building, and there were various traps and things that I had to get past (but I already knew how to because I'd apparently done it before). I eventually reached a glass elevator and went down. Then, I got back in and went up, hoping I wouldn't end up on the same floor as before (remember, it was a video game, so things like what floor I went to weren't necessarily up to me). It went all the way to the top, where there was a shop. The shopkeeper offered me two amounts of money - a larger amount and a smaller amount. I can't remember the exact values. I chose the smaller amount, but then he started yelling at me, telling me to take the larger amount, so I did. I think there was more to the dream after that, but I can't remember. After that dream, I woke up and started thinking about it to recall as much as I could. I ended up falling asleep again after a couple minutes or so, causing me to have a dream where I was in the car, thinking about what I was going to write in my dream journal when I got back to my cousins' house (that's where we were going). We soon got to my cousins' house, which looked nothing like it does IWL. When we got out the car, my dad said it was raining, but my mom claimed it wasn't. I couldn't feel any rain, so I stuck my hand out in front of me and could feel rain. I thought it was a little odd that the rain stopped about a foot in front of me, but I didn't really think much of it. In the next dream, my mom and I were walking down Main Street in the village near where I live, heading for a certain shop (which doesn't exist IWL). We were going there to find and purchase some natural remedy for... something. We entered the shop, arriving in a pink room that smelled strongly of perfume, with a white curtain sort of separating it from the shop itself. We walked past the curtain and into the shop. Inside, the woman who owned the shop was busy giving a tarot reading to a customer, so my mom and I sat down at a nearby table to wait. There were tarot cards at this table, too, but they looked just like normal playing cards. My mom dealt out some cards (all the while, I was just thinking that she had no clue what she was doing) and then jokingly said that the cards said I would pick them all up (there were a lot on the table), but she picked them up anyway. Then, she told me that these cards were wider than the ones back in England, which meant that they had some sort of special meaning (of course, the real reason they were wider was because they were playing cards, which are wider than tarot cards anyway). Then, I saw Makayla, a young girl from my church. My mom said she was here to tell us we have to take my friend's mom (not Makayla's mom) to the hospital, as we apparently had to every day at this time. She asked me if I just wanted to be checked out at the hospital while we were there or if I wanted to come back here afterwards instead. Honestly, though, I had no idea what we had even come here for.
Last night, I had a surprisingly vivid dream. I was playing the "new" Zelda game on the Wii (I have no idea what it was called, but it's not a real game IWL). I was playing it on my TV in my room, though, so it should have logically been an N64 game (only console in my room; the Wii is in the living room), but it was a Wii game. It started out in the Shadow Temple, which reminded me a lot of the Shadow Temple in Wind Waker (wait... Wind Waker doesn't even have a Shadow Temple). I soon found out that Link could transform into a wolf, like in Twilight Princess. After hearing him scream upon returning to Hylian form, I decided I wouldn't transform unless absolutely necessary (there was no way to skip the transformation like in Majora's Mask). I kept playing and soon found Zelda. She was unconscious. I brought her out of the temple, and she woke up. She had a bag of something that looked like pot (I think). She said it was actually cocaine and suggested putting it in coffee to make the coffee taste better. The only option for replying to her was to refuse. Then, a message popped up that said something about the Swedish not supporting the use of cocaine (as the game was apparently made by Mojang). I somehow ended up back at the title screen. I turned off the game and decided to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (even though I don't have Netflix on the TV in my room).
I had a dream last night that my friend Lizz and I were listening to Zelda songs (from the game soundtracks) on my iPod. I was trying to guess the songs, I think. Also, I think we were on a train for some reason. Anyway, one song came on, and I said, "You can skip this; it's from a cutscene." The song was The Revival's Completion from the Spirit Tracks OST (i.e., the part where Malladus is revived). I looked at the iPod and realized that it wasn't anything from Spirit Tracks; it was music from the new Zelda game (not Skyward Sword; it was a Wii remake of the original).
I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Well... it was supposed to be Wind Waker. I thought it was. Anyway, I was somehow playing as Zelda, but she was wearing Link's outfit (I know there was a reason, but I can't remember why). Soon, the dream switched to first-person, like I was in the game. The first dungeon of the game was a school, and it was very easy to get lost. Also, I had apparently teamed up with the Mane Six, who were with me now. There were hints as to who the first boss was. One of the hints had something to do with Girl Scouts, and the other was that she "hates kindergarten". For some reason, I briefly suspected Rainbow Dash, but I doubted it was her because she was on my team. Suddenly, I was back in my room (and out of the game) My mom told me that she knew who the first boss was - Bekah. All of a sudden, all I could see was the image of her against a white background. I recognized her as one of the NPCs back on Outset Island. Actually, she looked exactly like a six-year-old girl from my church, who is also named Bekah. She even had an older sister named Hannah, just like Bekah from church does.
In my first dream last night, I was playing a Zelda game on the Wii. I don't know what game it was; it wasn't one that actually exists. When I say "playing", I mean I was watching the game from a third-person point of view (so my entire field of vision was what was displayed on the screen), but I was still aware that I was using a Wii remote (this is similar to how I usually play video games in dreams, except I'm not usually aware of the controller). Anyway, I remember Link being able to shrink down (and return to normal size) at will, like in Minish Cap, except he could do it anywhere. I (remember, I'm playing the game and, therefore, controlling Link) used that to get into this building where I was in this room full of people. Suddenly, I was actually in the game myself! And, no, I wasn't Link (I have no idea what happened to him); I was myself. I had to play Epona's Song on the ocarina for some reason. Strangely, though this seemed normal at the time, instead of covering the holes and blowing into the ocarina, I had to press buttons to play the notes. For some reason, I kept trying to play the notes for Saria's Song (though I thought I was trying to play Epona's Song), but I kept messing up. This man approached me and I told him that I couldn't seem to get the notes right. We ended up talking about Legend of Zelda for a little while (he was a Zelda fan, too), and I forgot about the ocarina entirely. Soon, I saw my parents arrive, so I said goodbye and told him I enjoyed talking with him, then I left with my parents. Next thing I knew, we were driving through the village where I live (well, I actually live in a town just outside of the village itself, but I used to live in the village). The man was in the car with us, which was unexpected, since I'd said goodbye to him and left. Anyway, we were driving along South Main Street, going past the power substation, with the bridge just up ahead. It didn't occur to me in the dream, but my mom may have been driving us to our old house (where I lived until I was seven), as that was literally just a few houses away. The dream ended before we got close enough to see our house, though. (Note: I'm sure that bridge will forever remain in my memory, along with the "beep beep" of reversing trailer trucks. You see, the bridge could be seen from my old house. Even though there was a warning sign stating the height limit, many truck drivers would ignore the sign and try to drive under the bridge anyway... which usually resulted in them subsequently getting stuck under it. This, of course, was followed by the high-pitched beeping as they reversed out to take a detour. I lived in that house until I was seven (or eight, maybe; I can't remember exactly), and I have seen many trucks get stuck under that bridge.) I woke up after that and decided to try DEILD. I quickly felt myself being pulled into another dream. Unfortunately, even though I know I'm not supposed to move during DEILD, my half-asleep brain decided it would be perfectly okay to roll over as long as I didn't get up. That completely ruined my DEILD attempt. I quickly went back to sleep anyway and had another non-lucid dream. In this dream, I was with my friend Lizz. We were in her backyard, but it didn't look like her backyard - or anywhere I'd recognize, for that matter - in real life. So there we were, as well as three little girls, around seven or eight years old. I can't remember who the girls were, but I have a feeling the group may have included her little sister and/or some of the girls around that age at my church. Anyway, we were in "teams" (i.e., Lizz and I vs. the other girls), and each time had a "fort". Our fort was "defensive", as it was a shed with a wire fence around it. The girls' fort was "fun", as it was a colourful playground set with a treehouse (i.e., a swingset and slide with an attached treehouse). I'm guessing the "forts" were for some kind of game, though the dream skipped ahead to the next morning before anything much really happened. I'd apparently spent the night at her house, since I was still there the next morning. We went to the dining room (again, it looked different than it does IRL) for breakfast. She started asking me what I thought about some video game that she'd assumed I'd played (I forgot the name of it, though). When I told her I hadn't played it, she decided to show it to me. I guess the dream ended before she had a chance to show me, since the next thing I remember is from the next dream. I was playing the "drums", though it actually looked like a keyboard (a piano keyboard, not a computer keyboard), not a drum kit. For some reason, the drumsticks I was using were short and made of black plastic. I think the "drums" may have actually been a keyboard, as I had to set it to 101 (first percussion setting on a MIDI keyboard) to get the right sounds. The next thing I knew, I was at home, and my parents were there. I put the drumsticks down on the table. It turned out I was supposed to have three more (I only had two), so I had to go outside to find the rest. Instead of just three, I ended up finding a lot more and setting them all down on the table.
I was playing a Zelda game (Twilight Princess) on the Wii. I was running around somewhere (some sort of farm or something) in wolf form. I went under a fence, where I was confronted with two shadow beasts on the other side. They were bigger and more formidable than in Twilight Princess, though. Fortunately, they paid no attention to me. I spotted the golden wolf and switched to Hylian form for the hidden skills training with the Hero's Shade. This drew the shadow beasts' attention to me. Luckily, they didn't have time to get to me. Now, this is where things get bizarre. The scene changed to the inside of a candy shop. The owner was a man with short, black hair and a suit. And everything was uber-kawaii chibified to the extreme, like something off the infant section of Yahoo Kids Korea. I think the kawaii desu fairy decided to pay a visit to a dream where she didn't belong. Seriously, the guy's head was bigger than the rest of his body! "I don't remember this from last time," I said, referring to my first (and only) playthrough of Ocarina of Time. Then, I realized I was holding a Wii remote and remembered that I was playing Twilight Princess. Being still on my first playthrough, I assumed that was just a normal part of the game.
When I woke up, I couldn't remember any dreams from last night. After a few minutes or so, I started to vaguely remember a couple fragments. It took me awhile, but I think I've managed to recall all that I can. I still can't remember any of them too clearly, but I'll write down what I can, and I'll try my best to keep them in order. 1. This one I can remember fairly well. I was playing some sort of computer game. However, my field of vision was limited to what was on the screen (as if it were actually there in front of me rather than on a screen) - the only way video games ever seem to work properly in my dreams. It was one of those point-and-click adventure games. On the screen for the main area at the beginning, there were at least three different paths I could take. One led to an underground tunnel, one led to the basement (which was actually below the tunnel for some reason), and one, in the bottom-right corner of the screen, went to some kind of storage room or something. I selected the tunnel, but I couldn't continue because it was too dark, so I went to the storage room to get a lantern, which I brought back to the tunnel and just... left it there. Then, I went to the basement instead. I encountered the same problem here - it was too dark. I went back to the storage room for another lantern, but there wasn't one. I checked my inventory screen in case I had one (or anything else I could use for some light), but all I had was some milk and some other stuff I can't remember. I went back to the basement anyway and found that there was an electric light already there, so I switched it on. 2. My mom and I were in this little convenience store. I was hungry. We were waiting for my dad and my brother to arrive so we could have supper, since the store had like a mini-restaurant area where you could order pizza and ice cream. That closed at 8 PM, and the store didn't sell any other food (what kind of convenience store doesn't sell food?!), so, when my dad and brother finally arrived, we had to go find somewhere else to eat. 3. My friend had a giant hotdog. It looked to be about two or three feet long. She offered to share it with me, since she didn't want to eat the whole thing, but I said I didn't want any of it. 4. This one was actually fairly clear. For some reason, I had to go find a bunch of items, like a scavenger hunt. My brother did, too, but we weren't working together; we were doing it separately. My dad somehow knew what I was supposed to be finding, so he would help me by giving me hints. I remember having to get the Stone Mask (from the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask). For some reason, it was on the living room wall, as were a bunch of other masks. I couldn't reach it because it was too high up, so I stood on the arm of the chair and reached it from there. I wish I'd realized that this wouldn't have worked IRL - in the dream, the window was a few feet to the right of where it should be, and I think the chair was a bit to the left, but, in real life, I only would've been able to reach the window, not the wall. Anyway, I got it. Wearing the mask, I went onto the deck to show my dad. He waved at me, and I told him he wasn't supposed to be able to see me while I'm wearing the Stone Mask (in Majora's Mask, it actually does make the wearer invisible).
This night was rather bizarre. I spent a lot of the night smoking some really strong weed so I unfortunately don't remember as much of it as I would have liked to, but frankly I'm amazed I remember anything at all. Not long before going to bed I took a capsule of valerian root and was smoking an herbal blend that R had put together. It contained calea zacatechichi, blue lotus, wild dagga, baybean, and skullcap. I blame that blend for... this. #1 - Wonderful [Non-Lucid] There was a lot leading up to the end of this dream that I don't remember, but it started out in a large school/fortress somewhere in the middle of a massive mountain range. There were lots of buildings on giant stone platforms that were floating in the sky, with tiny wooden bridges connecting them all. I can't remember exactly how the dream progressed to this next part, but I was controlling a young Link (like in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) in third-person perspective like in a game, but I still perceived it as if it was happening to me in first-person. And I was fighting another young Link, like literally he was an exact copy. We were swinging around on strings like Spider-Man and we were just going back and forth sort of in opposing figure eight patterns where we would fight once we approached each other at the center until we got too far away from each other again, and I remember knowing that we each had 2000 life points. I'm not sure what the strings were connected to as they went up above my vision, but we were floating just off of one of the stone platforms with a building on it, but too far away to just land on it again, and we were circling a giant open mouth a good distance below us, but large enough that it still took up a good amount of space in my vision. My perspective was oriented downwards so that I could always see the mouth. Essentially, what we were doing when we fought was throwing bombs and boomerangs at each other, attempting to make the other fall off of their string and into the giant mouth where they would be eaten. It was extremely nerve-wracking the entire time, and I could never seem to land a hit on the little asshole, so eventually I swung my string enough to jump down but miss the mouth and fall waaaaay down on to the ground below it, where I landed in my pool at my house. This part was extremely confusing, but I remember "knowing" that what just happened was a dream (more like random logic that just happened to include that rather than actually being lucid) and thinking to myself that I must be out of the dream now, and there was sort of a fade out effect on my environment, though it just faded into itself, which is hard to describe but was very noticeable at the time. After that I woke up. #2 - Shark Attack [Non-Lucid] There was some long high school dream leading up to this, I remember the guy AB who keeps appearing in my dreams recently being there, but that's about it. The part of the dream I do remember was all in third-person. The whole family from American Dad! was sitting at the end of a laundry shoot-like slide, with their feet hanging over the edge, overlooking some large pool of water. There was something said about a shark, and then I got a view of a gigantic shark sliding down the shoot coming toward them with its mouth open. The family screamed and Stan went up and grabbed the shark and was sliding down with it, and he said something about how it's not allowed to change it's mouth size. The whole family ended up falling into the water with the shark, and while they were underwater I got Stan's perspective. An old man who was essentially a mix of a Chinese martial artist and Jar Jar Binks from episode one of Star Wars (that's honestly the best way I can describe it) floated up to Stan and said "I require your assistance...." I'm pretty sure that man was somewhere in the dream before too, but it's hard to remember now. After that I was woken up by R.
So, I tried taking 1500 mg of aniracetam at midnight to see the effect it would have on my dreams. My advice would be that if you are sensitive to hallucinogenic states of mind (like I am) and/or have a history of panic attacks and general anxiety (like I do), that you DO NOT try this. In my previous experiences using aniracetam as a nootropic, I had noticed that it seemed kind of like piracetam but a bit more trippy, it just has sort of a dissociative energy to it. Now I know that I shouldn't take more than a standard dose (750 mg) or possibly even that if I'm not willing to deal with that. :T Basically, as it was setting in, my thoughts started racing. I also realized that it may not be good to take a good dose of something that pushes a lot of oxygen to the brain while trying to go to sleep, but that's my bad. I was zoned out and into a mild hypnagogic trance (I get very light, transparent hallucinations easily) when suddenly the weird patterns I was watching became really strong and pushed me into alertness. I sat up thinking "Okay, that was odd. >_>" After that there was an abrupt shift in consciousness, I honestly did a RC to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It didn't really feel like a dream though, more like a trip. In the same way that hypnagogia can involve things like loud noises or images that appear really quick and then vanish in a way that makes them immediately feel really distant, I started getting sensations of chest pains that would last barely a second, then feel like they almost never happened in the first place, and I started to hear my heart beating and it sounded somewhat erratic. Though I've never had it quite as fleeting as this before, I've been here a million times... the point where I have to suddenly get myself under control or I'm going to launch into a panic attack. I forced myself to get a grip, and started doing some of my normal calming exercises. The anxiety and sensations didn't fully go away, but it didn't make me totally freak out or anything. I frequently was getting the unsettlingly strong dissociative feeling of having all of my senses pulled away from me, like I was about to snap into an anesthetic OBE, but this also came and went pretty quickly. It took me a long time to fall asleep after that, and I think I had one dream before the first one I logged but I can't really recall anything about it. However, all of my dreams after that were considerably more vivid than they had been the past few days, or even really more than any dreams I'd had in a while. I'd always wondered about the supposed 5-HT2A and D2/D3 action of aniracetam. I'm still not sure if they've verified it yet, but I'm more willing to believe it interacts with those receptors in some way now. It was a lot crazier than I expected.... I know people take doses much higher than that normally and are fine, too. I guess I'm just really sensitive to its effects. If I try it again in the future, I'll probably stick to the 750 mg doses, and probably a couple hours before bed. It does seem to have an augmentative effect, but it needs to be used correctly. Anyway.... #1 - Meeting Up With Laura [Non-Lucid] I was hanging out with this guy J I met in high school but haven't seen much of since graduation, and I was supposed to be meeting up with some girl I don't know named Laura soon. I asked J if he wanted to go to her house with me and he said sure. This part of the dream is hazy, but we got in my car and I drove us there, and somewhere down the line J turned into D. We got to her house, but she wasn't there! Her parents and my parents were, though. They were having some kind of breakfast feast with a bunch of pans on the stove that included hash browns, eggs, and mini pancakes, possibly among other things. I went into Laura's room and gave her a call on my cell (I think) and it turned out she had actually gone to my house looking for me, so I felt bad about missing her. :T I told her we'd go bowling to make up for it when I got back. I saw her as I was talking to her, but she's hard to remember. At this point my mind started associating her with Laura Palmer, from Twin Peaks, and she was blonde like her but she didn't really look like her otherwise. I thought to myself maybe we can bring some drugs or alcohol to the bowling alley to surprise her, that'll make her happy. After I got off the phone I went back and saw D pigging out on all the breakfast food. I told him we needed to head out and that he should make those pancakes he was getting be his last plate, and he said "Even worse, I think they're Chinese." and laughed. At the time, I knew what this meant.... It was some reference to the way they were cooked. I have no idea what it means now, though. After that, we were getting ready to leave and I woke up. #2 - Talking About Disgaea [Non-Lucid] I spent the night at someone's house talking about drugs or something, then in the morning when I woke up and walked out the front door (into a big auditorium-like building, on the second floor ) there was a huge band/orchestra event going on, so I wanted to get out of there quickly. I distinctly remember walking past this chibified version of another J I knew in school, and he even had a squeaky voice to go along with his look. I ran into an old friend (some random DC?) and the scene changes to a huge department store, and she gets mad at me for not forcing her to play Disgaea before when she thought she wouldn't like it because she said she finally decided to try it after all these years and loves it. She asks for some teaser details about what she can expect out of the game, so I gave some vague information about the plot and some cool stuff you can do in the game, which were amazingly accurate considering I was saying this in a dream, but then the dream ended. #3 - Glitchy New Pokémon Game [Non-Lucid] Playing a copy of an unreleased Pokémon game that I somehow downloaded on to a flash cart. (Even in the dream I admit to not remembering how I got it.) I refer to the game as Black version, but I think I might have meant Black 2. It looks cool, but because it's a dream it's extremely glitchy and not consistent at all. Yet somehow, I managed to realize that if you keep going back and retrying the options you were pressing over and over again intending them to work, they eventually would. I don't remember much about the content, though I was actually able to read everything perfectly fine, and I remember seeing a picture of Link (in child form) from his art in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Meanwhile, my parents are also walking around the house (I'm moving around while playing) and arguing about whether or not someone will be able to fix some issue if my dad contacts her, but I can't remember exactly what.
Blue Fire (frag) NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID A tribe group gathered around a small ditch. I walked into the center and starting out giving commands. As I was talking, one of the men disappeared behind a blue flame. "He's gone! Someone get to finding him and find out a way to bring him down!" Midna from Twilight princess grabbed someone and said, "Me and Jess got it." The dream skips and Midna and Jess are using army toys to plan out an attack in a dark room. The dream skips again and Rachel and are searching for whatever clues were left behind. In the corner of my eye I saw a digital update log of what was happening with the investigation of his disappearance. I pulled out a plastic box with tiny rubber balls in it, with a whip buried underneath. I grabbed a walkie talkie and said, "There's a whip in his case. Would that cause a problem with the law for him?" It buzzed back. "No. As long as the radioactive balls is not attached to the whip." "Radioactive?" I pulled out the whip and glowing yellow balls were attached to the top. "Shit!" I threw the case onto the floor.
Real life Dream Lucid Nightmare Dream sign For me to remember, dreams are #067300, and lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1. Nightmares are dark red, #8b0000, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b. I learned a lot from these two lucids. One thing is it really is easy to lose lucidity in a dream. The other is don't get startled in a dream... Center party We had a party for our Center. (It's like a specialized part of a school, ours is high school) I was already inside, and I was waiting for others to come in. I was in a dark room and it was night time. People started entering. Suddenly I became lucid. The girl I like came over to me and asked me to help her get someone else at the Center away from her. He kept trying to hug and kiss her and she was annoyed. I tried to Falcon Punch him but it failed. Nothing happened. I suddenly had a funny thought. I created a glowing thing that looked like a fairy from the Legend of Zelda and made the fairy fountain music come from it.He followed it, mesmerized, (because he was an avid gamer) and I told her it would probably keep going for a few miles, so we had nothing to worry about. At some point in this dream I lost lucidity. We had about 30 people coming to the party. I looked around and saw a party room in the distance. We walked over there. On our way there we saw a large group of women doing stretches. Then we finally got to the party area. There was a pool and then two concession stands with gorillas as staff. We played in the pool for a while, probably about 20 or 25 minutes. Then the gorillas quit. They were getting too much business and were getting frustrated over how they only got $1.99 an hour. I said "Wait!". They looked and I said they could have the extra food too. They smiled and we all partied! Would-be nightmare I was in a dark room, looking at a creepy person, on some slate bed. I became lucid seconds after the dream started. I was startled at how quickly I had become lucid. The creepy guy suddenly died and fell off the bed and I looked around. There were doors and three people. The middle one, a girl, said some spell to immobilize me. I don't remember what she said, but I do remember it felt like cotton was pressing around all my limbs and I couldn't fight past it. I tried to break free using dream powers but failed. Maybe I lost my powers because I startled myself? I thought, Crap. I woke myself up.
Dream starts off with Link from the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time entering a dark dungeon with grey stone walls. A narrow hall leads to a large square shaped room that has a platform in the center with bridges leading to doors in the southern and eastern walls. The platform is surrounded by dead bodies, hanging from chains, suspended over flaming pits of lava. Instead of a creature from the Ocarina of Time the first enemy encountered there is a cacodemon from the Doom videogame series. Link cannot kill it because it floats just out of range of his Master Sword, above his head, near the ceiling. Link escapes through the door in the south and finds himself in a small maze of long halls with many identical looking doors. Most of the doors are fake and the halls dead ends but Link stumbles upon a fake wall in the eastern part of the maze that leads to a room with a treasure chest that contains the Eye of Truth. The new treasure reveals which doors are real and which are false and also shows entrances to hallways that were hidden behind fake walls. Down one such hidden halls in the weatern part of the maze Link encounters more cacodemons but is able to kill them this time because the hallways has a very low ceiling and the demons cannot float out of reach of his sword. Beyond them is a short "t" shaped hall extension that Link quickly discovers is booby trapped. When he tries to reach the treasure chest at the far end of the hallway, rockets come flying out of a hidden alcove in the opposite end of the hall. Link's shield is unable to effectively protect him from the exploding rockets so he is forced to retreat to the entrance of the "t" shaped hall to figure out what to do next. Just then a cacodemon comes wandering down the hall and Link lures it into the "t" shaped hall. The rockets start firing at the new target, which becomes confused and tries to attack the wall hiding the rocket launcher, and while he has a chance, Link runs to the treasure chest and claims the prize which turns out to be the Biggoron's Sword. He runs out of the hall mazy and back to the central room where there is now one of those brain demons. Despite it being twice the size and strength of a cacodemon, Link makes short work of it with the Biggoron's sword and moves goes through the door in the eastern wall. The next room is similar to the hallway maze but instead of walls and fake doors the maze is made up of public bathroom stalls that are all painted light blue. Some stalls are the entrance to new hallways of stalls but because all of the stalls have doors that are closed, Link has to check them all one at a time. For some reason the Eye of Truth will not work here and some stalls contain hidden cacodemons and other monsters, making searching for the exit tedious and frustrating. The dream becomes fuzzy but Link ends up in another large room facing more of the brain demons after finding his way out of the bathroom stall maze. There is a door that leads outside and onto the tarmac of a parking lot where a 1979 brown chevy Nova sits. The landscape of the surrounding area is an arid desert like you would find in Arizona. A man behind the wheel of the car, who looks like Bob Hoskins, and a woman with brown wavy hair, urge Link to get in the car. The exit of the dungeon smashes open and one of those huge cyberdemons with a rocket launcher for an arm comes stomping out. Link tries cutting it's leg with the Biggoron's sword but it has no effect so he dives into the backseat and the car burns rubber to get out of there and onto a deserted highway. It doesn't go very though because it the blast from an exploding rocket causes it to spin out of control and into a dirt patch on the other side of the highway. The three occupants of the car lay low and very still because they believe that if they they do not move the demon will not be able to see them. Apparently it works as the demon seems to have lost sight of the car despite the fact that it is a mere 50 feet away. I cannot remember any more of the dream.

Note: My ability to WILD has really gone down the crapper lately. On the other side, the number of FAs I have that turn into lucid dreams has gone way up. I guess I'm just greedy and I want it all! My plans for this night were to go back to a Legend of Zelda dream MoSh had a ways back and also to find out who it was I released that dark energy entity to last night. The other thing I wanted to do was open that locked book. I have a feeling there are a lot of answers in it if I could just remember to open it! I was in my car. I was driving down a road. It was snowy out, and I was thinking I didn't have much experience driving in the snow. I was being very careful. I was there to meet MoSh. I was going to pick him up. Then there was a place we were going to explore. An ice cavern, like the one in the video game Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past. I drove up a winding hill, sure my car would get stuck, but it didn't. I pulled up in front of MoSh's house and got out of the car. I went up to the front door and knocked. MoSh came to the door. He looked at me strangely. I told him I was there so we could go see the cavern that is like the Legend of Zelda. He said that was cool. He followed me out to my car and we both got in. I started the car and drove back down the hill… or actually I did more sliding down the hill. I slid right into a gigantic pothole. The pothole swallowed the entire car. The car fell downward for quite a ways before crashing to the ground. It hit the ground with much less force than I would have expected, though. I asked MoSh if he was ok, he said yeah, no thanks to my driving. I told him it would have helped to have warning of pothole-zilla. We both got out of the car. The car was totaled. The wheels were now completely flat, and the frame was smashed up quite a bit, too. Great… I wondered if this would raise my insurance payments. MoSh and I went through the only way out of the giant pothole that now looked more like a sink hole… That was through a passage to what I felt was north. MoSh and I entered an interesting room. There were strange statues in the room, and the floor was practically made of ice. I stepped onto it without looking and immediately fell on my ass. MoSh said to be careful, much of these rooms would be slippery. I said I had noticed that. We entered the room, I was more careful this time. I was wishing I had ice skates… that would be easier… and suddenly I did. I somehow explained that to myself by saying my shoes just convert to ice skates when I need them to… wtf? What an excuse to avoid doing a RC! I skated into the room, MoSh followed me. He didn't seem to be slipping around… I wondered why? Maybe he's just more used to walking on ice since he lives in Canada… As I was about to reach the other side of the room, an ice carving in the wall came to life. I instinctively threw a Damage, Inc. fireball at it and it melted away. That seemed to trigger a door in the left side of the room to open. That was the only other exit, so MoSh and I went through it. MoSh and I entered another room with a floor of ice… and strange jelly fish like creatures that were floating in the air. MoSh knocked them out of the air with a couple quick martial arts moves, they laid lifeless on the ground. MoSh went over to one of them and picked something up. He showed me what he'd found… it was a key. A golden key. I wondered what that was for. MoSh seemed to know. He took it to a locked door on the north side of the room and unlocked the door. He looked back at me as if to ask what I was waiting for. I skated over and joined him in going through the door. Stairs led down deeper into the dungeon. Fortunately these weren't slippery. MoSh and I emerged in an ice cave at the bottom of the stairs. A cave led away to the south with branches leading off to the east and west. There was a dead end at both of those side tunnels. It seemed we had reached the end of our travels. MoSh headed down the passage. I skated after him, not sure where we were trying to go. MoSh went around the corner to the west. He found a loose panel in the wall and pushed it. I heard a grinding sound as a portion of the wall slid aside. The passage to the east was no longer a dead end. MoSh went over to that new passage and went into it. This whole thing was seeming more like a level in the Legend of Zelda than I had realized at first. Weird monsters, a maze like dungeon, hidden switches to open hidden passages… Maybe it would help for me to start thinking as if I was playing a game of Zelda. Think like Link… I followed MoSh into the next room, which was an intersection of passages. Exits to the north, south, east, and west. The other three passages were closed. There were four orbs in the center of the room. All of the orbs were glowing red. I noticed each of the doors was a different color. North was blue, south was green, east was yellow, west was red. Ok… this was a puzzle. I went into the center of the room and touched an orb. It changed color and the red door closed. Ok, when all the orbs were the same color, the door of that color would open. This was complicated by the fact each orb affected the orb to the right of it… I fiddled around with them until they were all green. MoSh and I went south. In the next room it looked much like the previous one. Another ice chamber, a few decorative statues… but there were strange creatures there attacking us. They looked like small demons or gremlins riding on upside down turtle shells… weird… those shells allowed them to maneuver very well on the ice. They were all attacking us, I had to do skating maneuvers I didn't know I was capable of to avoid them. MoSh and I were able to get rid of them with fire spells. And this seemed to just keep going on. More ice chambers, floating jelly fish, hidden passages and keys… It continued until we entered the largest chamber so far… In the largest chamber there was creature made entirely of ice, or that's what it appeared to be. Made of ice, the ice was carved out in the form of a… um… I'm not sure what. It had a bull's head, the tail and stinger of a scorpion, eight legs, sharp pincers… um… someone had gone ape with the genetic manipulation… The thing had been standing like a statue, but when MoSh and I entered, it attacked us immediately. Throwing its stinger directly at MoSh, who dived to the side to avoid it. MoSh and I fought the thing using fire spells, which seemed to be the only thing that would affect it. The fire spells slowly melted the thing down until there was nothing left but puddles… but there was something left. There was a man standing there, the ice had apparently been formed around him. He was saying the ice king had been using the ice to control him, but now he was free. I wondered if that was true or an excuse… He opened a door in the back of the chamber. MoSh and I went into the next chamber. There was a sphere of ice in the center on a stand like a giant crystal ball. In the middle of the crystal ball was a woman. I wondered how she had gotten in there. I figured this 'ice king' person had trapped her there. I figured a bit of fire would get her out… but before I could do that, I woke.
