Lucid Dreams
The White Terrace I’m descending a stairwell with a group of DCs, one of which looks similar to a classmate from years back. I begin hopping the rails and swinging down to progress rapidly. I exit to the hallway and try to enter to another vacant stairwell, but the entrance is partially barricaded by a broken door. I make my way in and realize the scene look familiar… like from a previous…dream! I’m dreaming! I don’t want to stay in this area as it’s quite run down and decide to get out. I hear a couple voices which sound eerie for just a moment, but have the thought that it simply doesn’t matter since I’m dreaming – I could even confront them. I fly up to the window above and to my right enter into an area which extends to the left and right with white furniture – mostly couches and tables. I glide forward a notice that several feet forward is a massive drop of about 4 stories to a body of water below. I head to the right and see that there is more of a paved area in that directions. DCs are walking around in this campus-looking area with brick buildings. I turn back around and head into the terrace area to explore. I notice that the entryway I came through appears to be sealed up and the room extends further to the back toward what appears to be an extended lounge area with more couches. I wonder if this could become a persistent dream realm – another sanctuary of sorts to come to return to. I look around a bit but soon decide to work on dream goals. The dream elixir comes to mind and I begin searching for one. I look toward the sitting area on the edge of the terrace and decide an elixir may be there. I move around the seats and approach the table form the far side. I notice a large conch and decide this is it. I raise it and notice some liquid inside. I drink it and wonder if this will aid me with lucidity (which is interesting since I had another DILD right after). I turn and move on from this area to the previous concrete area. I see a DC moving around by a building. I try twice to raise her via telekinesis, but don’t have any luck. She continues to walk in front of a building in the background – what almost appears to be like an unused blacktop area. I move my eyes around the scene in an attempt to stabilize. I think to myself that I want the dream to last for a full hour. I remind my self to focus and increase my awareness. I turn and move around the corner to the next area of the blacktop. There were several dream characters her as well as a little girl who is roughly 3 feet tall with two blonde pig-tails .The girl was crying and I go to go help her out by carrying her to the next area. I lose my lucidity at this point as I continue to carry her to the next area. Sunrise Harbor I’m in a small room with a couple of DCs one adult female character is getting impatient and grabs a phone to watch videos. It’s a ghost video and I’m not interested. The voice says, “Are you dreaming?” and I realize… yes! I’m dreaming! I immediately turn and fly out of the area through an upper window in the room. I emerge into an area with stone flooring which extends in all directions, yet further in the direction in front of me toward and area with wooden shrine/hut type structures. It’s dawn and there’s a beautiful amber hue emanating from the harbor beyond.I have a feeling of happiness come through me as I realize I’m lucid yet again. I fly around the stone precipice and think of the moon phase of the dream sanctuary. I see a tree with four branches growing in opposing directions, yet re-converging toward the top yet again. I fly into the center of the branches figuring that I could essentially phase through this area. I enter into this central area and pop out in a very similar area – possibly a continuation of the scene- taking in a further view of the stone terrace. There a a couple of DCs walking together in a group toward my right. In the far distance I see yet another wooden shrine structure with bronze décor woven throughout. There appears to be some kind of contraption in the center which resembles an hour glass. I consider that phasing though this may bring me to the sanctuary. I fly toward the hourglass contraption, and as I do so my dream body and focal point of awareness begins to shrink. Once I reach the device, I re-emerge in a similar-themed area. There is a hallway to the right which I fly down. I remember the summer competition and how one may gain points by interacting with a DC. I ask a question (I believe it was about the route to the dream sanctuary) and she smiles at me. I see another DC and try twice to levitate her via telekinesis, yet it does not work. I begin to feel cold a figure that I could warm myself up by hugging the DC who is wearing thick clothes. I hug the DC and warm up a bit! I fly further down the hallway and the left portion opens up to massive drop into a bay below, probably 8 stories or so. Quite far in the distance sits a wooden Japanese style shrine in the water with blue adornments. I begin to wonder if a portion of this shrine may lead to the moon phase of the dream sanctuary. With this thought, aspects of the front portion begin to change a bit and take upon a bluish lunar hue. I begin flying down into the area, but wake up. Non-Lucid I'm in a central hub area which resembles the pods from my work. A group of DCs I'm a part of separates onto three different adventures, each described via white post-cards. My first area is an aquatic area. I begin navigating the area which is supervised by two DCs who roam around the body of water, filled with other DCs. I need to navigate this area a bit more before moving into the next task. *There's a bit more writing, but I can't read my notes from the middle of the night.

I did a Wbtb at 4Am . Woke up , did an assignment for an hour . Then slept paying attention to the ringing in my ears and intent to get lucid . I was having some dream I g Forgot about and then got lucid in my hostel room . It was dark as usual with faint yellow light . I exited the room and went outdoors . I did not have a goal with this LD as I want to experiment with some stuff to increase dream length . So I decide to take it chill , not rush with stuff and enjoy the scenery . Now I go outside and see a hostel friend near what looked like a swimming pool . I greet him and see many other friends nearby . The foliage looked great . Cool Breeze was blowing from the west . I took a moment to take in the view . Then I saw some dirty water and my friend was inserting a twig in it to clean it somehow , I offered him help but he denied . The water looked disgusting frankly . Ugly yellow . Then I walked a bit more and ended up in a supermarket . It was well lit , covered with blues and whites . Lots of stuff and some people with shopping carts running around . It was mostly Uneventful Then the dream starts fading as I wait . Then I feel just stuck in the darkness . I immediately try to re-enter it and was successful. First Deild in months . I was back in the supermarket and this time an NSFW scene ensues that I won't be elaborating here .
So last night I had a brief awakening around 3am and as I was falling back asleep I was able to stay conscious. The dream formed and I was lying in my bed as I always am with DEILDs. My room looked off of course and I knew I wanted to get outside. I went to my window and opened the blinds and fazed through the window itself to get outside. Once outside I knew I wanted to fly on a dragon because it was the theme for the Summer Competition and I had been thinking about wanting to incorporate it if I became lucid earlier in the week. I tried to summon a dragon to fly on top off and all of a sudden I was flying over my neighborhood on one, but when I looked down it wasn't there. It felt like I was on top of one and I could feel it's movements, the beating of its wings, etc. all as if I were on top of a large flying dragon, it was just invisible. After flying for a bit I believe I lost lucidity. I woke up a few moments later and didn't remember the dream right away, but after thinking for a minute or two I suddenly remembered I had become lucid and rushed to write it all down. Good thing I didn't just go right back to sleep! It just goes to show that we all may have lucids we end up forgetting about.

I'm happy with last night even if the lucid part was super short Slept at 11:20. Dream #1 (Fragment, Non-Lucid): Kirishima from BNHA was in a high school classroom, fighting a medusa-like creature. He tried to throw a punch, but a crackling ball of energy emerged from its chest and started sucking him in. He gasped, his mouth and the whites of his eyes turning black, his irises glowing purple and quivering in that typical anime way. Is this what it's like to be consumed by pure and utter darkness? he thought, struggling against it and impressively keeping conscious. He appeared to be losing, but I (as the nonexistent observer) knew plot armor would protect him. I metaphorically sat back and enjoyed the battle. In another room, my History teacher Ms. K was sweeping the floor and found a "100% non-child" mask. She picked it up and presented it to a janitor, who was watching something on his phone. "We're happy with this," she said, and he nodded. Woke up at 4:15 and attempted WILD. Dream #2 (Lucid): Random people were in my house, having a strength competition through rock paper scissors. It may have been to find out who was the strongest dragon, but I'm not sure. They all had human appearances. Three of them sat on the couch; the leftmost being the weakest, the middle the strongest, and the rightmost of average ability. Three more people of the same ability would face off against them. My friend K was in the middle, so she must have been a strong one. Two people challenged her to RPS and she won both times. "Hah! I was always the best at this game. You chumps." I'm pretty sure I was subconsciously helping her. I could have played a match myself but didn't want to. Prior to this a lot of stuff had happened, and because of that stuff I decided to run away from home. Next thing I knew I was in the driver's seat of our car, cruising down the highway. It was on autopilot, and I thought, Wait, since when did our car have autopilot mode...? I shrugged it off though because I'd heard of the concept before. The turns it made were strange; each time it seemed to very nearly hit whatever object was in front of it, but never really did. Whenever I tried to take hold of the wheel, it would start driving extremely and uncontrollably fast, so I decided to just give in and trust it. J and L might have been in the back, but if they were, it wasn't for long. I stared out the windshield at the blue and pink sky, a red bridge reaching high into the clouds, and thought about finding a suitable place to die. Eventually I arrived at a grassy field and was able to take the wheel. The car bounced along a dark, vivid gravel path, but it was more fun than scary. A short wooden fence separated it from the rest of the field, and at the end of the path was a rectangular dugout. Like the opening to an underground fort. I parked the car and peeked in. A bunch of witches were in there and I completely forgot about finding a place to die, overcome with the desire to become one of them. I jumped in, landing on the floorboards with a satisfying thud. To my left was another opening, this one leading out to an enormous cavern, similar to the one in How to Train Your Dragon 2 but with less greenery. I tried to enter but was blocked off by a wall of witches. A massive dragon, clearly the leader of the place, approached me. I asked her if I could become a witch, and she said I could, I only had to put on the clothes. I turned and against the opposite wall was a shelf, each tier storing a different uniform item: black robes, black pants, black boots, the classic spiked hat, and thin-yet-sturdy biker gloves. I asked a question about the boots and the dragon responded, "It's fine." She touched my cheek with a human hand and said that my skin was lackluster. Embarrassed and ashamed, I looked down and mumbled that I didn't know what to do about it. I was worried she'd say I couldn't be a witch if I was like this, but instead she bestowed on me some very wise advice and rubbed a thick blue ointment onto my face, to "maintain the shine." "Never let it fade," she said. I put on the witch outfit and checked out my reflection in a wood-framed mirror. The ointment was glittery and smeared on in a simple pattern, like when people paint their faces for competitions or war. I thought it was pretty cool. Not sure what happened but a bit later the dragon and I ended up in a pitch dark, weightless void. She hovered over me, beating her wings, a giant ball of pure energy forming between her open jaws. I wasn't scared because I knew she wasn't going to hurt me. I don't remember what she was doing, but I was amazed and quite happy. Perhaps the energy ball had teleportation powers because next thing I knew, I was home. I avoided thinking too much about the whole event because I didn't want to jinx it. I tried to text J and L, now under the impression that I had visited the lair to get something for them, but my phone wasn't turning on. I grabbed the home phone and started dialing their house number before remembering, Right, they haven't had a home phone since they got cell phones. But I don't have their numbers memorized… I was in a hurry and beginning to stress when S called. I answered, and they demanded to know, "Why did you send 'This might be a bad idea' in the group chat and then stop responding?" (I think I sent that before entering the witches' lair.) I didn't reply. Something wasn't right. S never responds to texts that quickly, and certainly wouldn't be so desperate to hear from me that they'd call at 4 in the morning. This must be a dream. The Caller ID disappeared and I hung up. It wasn't a high level of lucidity so I wanted to go back to the lair and find a wand to use for dream powers. But before I could leave the house, I woke up at 5:24. ——— This dream was so epic, the visuals were fantastic and the dragon had such a dignified air. I'd like to meet her again. I'm pretty sure the witch theme was influenced by a manga called Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter. I started reading it for the dragons, but it has other fantasy elements as well. It's quite wholesome, so I recommend it. I finished writing at 5:35 and tried to go back to sleep, but I was too excited about the dream and ended up lying awake till my alarm went off Points: Remember a Non-Lucid Fragment - ½ point WBTB - 2 points DILD - 10 points Dragons Theme - 5 points (3 comments - 1 point) Tonight's sum: 18.5 points Previous sum: 80 points Comp total: 98.5 points

I slept at 1Am and woke up to do a Wbtb at 3Am and slept back , then woke up at 5Am to do another wbtb . This time I did my usual technique of focusing on intent to get lucid and the ringing in my ears to get lucid . After doing this for a while I started to visualise some stuff about college . As my intent was still "running" in my head , I always had the idea of "I want to get lucid in this scenario while daydreaming . The visualisation then suddenly started going its own way and getting "deeper" . Then I felt a jolt and it became super clear . I was with my friend at a place similar to my college basement . Yellow walls and no windows,, low illumination . I was in some sort of toy car for kids with a friend and it was spinning . The friend was wearing a very wierd triangular mask . Looked kind of like a astronaut's helmet just triangle in shape and his chin was melting off for some reason . It was Falling off drop by drop . I was lucid throughout this scene . I stabilized the dream but woke up without being able to do anything .

Fun Lucid! Dream 1: I was in Security Breach ruin DLC, wandering around the empty halls of the building. I heard the moon walking around and woke up shortly after Dream 2: It was pre-established in the "story" that I had this cousin that had cancer and had to get chemo. My parents were supposed to drive him to the hospital but drove into a ditch. They called me, and I had to use this tow truck to get them out. It was super fast though and I had to drift to make sure I didn't drive us into another one. Later, I played Containment Breach and was about to enter a room before it turned into the hospital where my cousin was at. He was unconcious. I woke up shortly Dream 3: It started when my dad announced that one of his pet birds had eggs and they were gonna hatch. I was pissed cause I hate his birds. When they hatched, all of the birds were normal, but one was really messed up. We took care of them at my friend Charles's house, and we found out that the messed up bird was turning into a human. Everything was going fine, and then she broke her neck by running into a wall. I went away and got to work on these pipes that led water to a cooler. The bird girl showed up and started complaining that she was bored. I said that I couldn’t help with that, and she started asking me questions like what kind of games I play. I list a few, and she says I’m boring before walking away. I was gonna go downstairs before Walter White went up, and asked my dad about where Jesse was. This got me lucid. I asked him “Walt, Koschei should be here. Where is she?” He replied saying the Utility closet. I looked around the closet but couldn’t find her, and was ready to teleport to A before I grounded yet had a brief false awakening before waking up
Four: 1 Outside, at my house. I was looking to see if all the chickens were there in the yard. They were. I think I went somewhere after that, but this is just a frag (+0.5) 2 I was watching an AI play a game for me. There was options to tweak the AI’s balance between “casual and PvP” gameplay. (+0.5) 3 Grandmother’s house. I can’t remember the context once again, but I tripped and the dream ended. I went for a DEILD. A dream of my PR formed, but I still thought it was a visualization, so I was too afraid to move. (+0.5, not counting as a WILD since I never knew I was dreaming, only thought it was a vis) Also did a WBTB. (+2) ——— five: Nothing but WBTB. (+2) ——— six: WBTB. (+2) Grandmother’s house, once again. I realized I was dreaming on the road (+10 DILD). But I still followed the dream plot at first, opening up YouTube to see a short clip, of Sensei saying this: “Wanna create a persistent realm? Stop worrying about teleporting once, and start worrying about teleporting 3x in a row.” This made complete sense to me immediately; Worrying about teleporting once shall cause me to not teleport at all, but worrying about teleporting 3x in a row suggests that I can already do it once. Mental trickery. (+10 for teammate teaching me something) I tried out the advice. Phased through the concrete (this is my teleportation method) and that ended up triggering a short-range teleport a few yards ahead on the road, on first try. (+25, first of my three-step task is fully phasing through big object. I also teleported.) But I did wake up before I could try out long-range teleportation.

I’m in M Street, between the kitchen and downstairs hallway and I’m instantly lucid. My hand comes out in front of me as usual right at the onset of the dream. I say “I’m Lucid” and a feeling of happiness comes over me as I realize that I ended the three day streak of non-lucidity. It is very dark in the downstairs area of M Street and I decide to make my way to the front. I glide to the front and through the front doors without paying attention to the solidity. I reflect on dream goals and immediately think of asking the dream what my dharma is. I’m standing in the front of the house and take in the view of the bush in front of me as well as the several story tall tree with dark leaves. The scene is in the dead of night. I ask the dream, “what is my dharma”? …No response. I ask yet again, but there is no response. I decide to adjust to an English phraseology and ask “what is my life purpose” to the dream, yet no response is given yet again. I ignore this goal for the time being and begin to reflect on another. I consider heading to the dream sanctuary and begin thinking of the best method, which I believe would be via the purple crystal from the last lucid dream. I imagine it on the edge of the thornbush to my left, but nothing appears. I ignore this and turn to my right to view the glacé doors in the front of M Street. I want to get out of the darkness to stabilize the dream and avoid collapse and decide to head forward. To increase vividness and focus I shout, “focus!” with intensity while ramping up my awareness. The dream becomes slightly more vivid as I look through the glass doors at the orange hue of the light in the main entrance beyond. I make my way to the glass doors and begin making my ways through. I stop early on however thinking back to the initiL stages of dream yoga and decide to pass my hand through the solid glass door. I push my hand through slowly and watch how the fingers, then the palm slowly make their way through this translucent ‘membrane’. I smile with amusement and intrigue. I then think back to the competition and decide to phase my whole body through the solid object (glass door). I slowly make my way through and take in the dim orange glow of the room behind along with the sitting area in the far back. There are a couple of small lounge-style sofas in front of me and several more in the back of the room along with a small plant between the two areas. I consider to try to transform the plant for practice with dream yoga stages, but decide against it for the time being. I feel one of my eyelids shut and consider re-opening it but feel it may interfere with my waking body. I reflect on how vision through one dream eye seems more vivid for now and just forgot about it. I turn to my left and see a long hallway extending roughly 30 feet. It is quite sparse, however a machine which appears to be an espresso maker sits at the far end upon a small table. It appears that a small hallway opens to the left at the end of the hallway. I begin to head down the hallway, but quickly return to my waking body. Non-lucid I Enter a large bathroom which looks like a steam room of sorts. It closely resembles the bathroom in Serrano. one or two figures are in the shower-and I approach cautiously with Hanna. The Dream phases to forest area. There are Massive treant characters with top portions of their heads appearing like flat lava pools. They’re in pain. Their heads are essentially super Massive trunks- probably 15 feet in diameter. They open their mouths and there’s and intense redness and grimace of pain. Remnants of one is shown melted into ground leaving lava pool behind. Another approaches showing red gaping teeth and slowly melts into ground leaving lava pool. A DC jumps in and is slowly morphed by the heat of the lava into what almost appears like an avocado with a pit at the center which slowly changes in color, finally ending in brown. The Dream fades. I’m in what appears to be Serrano and Brandon- then Hanna are interfering with WBTB and lucidity I feel. I tell them not to interfere. I go to the bathroom - looks like Ms old house- toilet - vivid and needs to be flushed! I do so then turn to the sink. I end up in the M street kitchen and I’m talking to Brandon. I think back to a mushroom I just picked out of the yard and ate. I wonder if it’s poisoned! I ask b. 1 Nonlucid: 1 2 Fragments: 1 WBTB (Success): 2 WILD: 10 Ask For Advice: 5 Hand through object: 5 Phase through solid object: 10 Total: 100.5

First LD in about 6 months, and first DEILD chain in about 8 years, the DV comp has worked its magic yet once more! A terrible night of sleep, bedtime around 00:00, woke several times, and about 04:30 I was just up, so I decided to use this as a time for relaxation and perhaps to get a WILD/DILD WBTB: [2] At some point around 06:30 my wife & dog left the room and I was able to more fully relax. It took a lot of diligence to keep relaxing. as I was very alert. After a while, I started seeing images coming in to focus, very bright clear focus, like a room or a corridor. I could see my blankets through my closed eyes. I started thinking about how I might enter the dream more fully. Images of objects came in to bright, clear focus, like a bowl or a teapot/flowerpot, and it was rotating around its axes so I could get a clear look at it. It came into super sharp focus, and I just enjoyed the visualization, things like that are rare for me. I manipulated it a bit, adding flowers. Later after it vanished it occurred to me that it may have been a dream, a "light WILD," but then again it could have just been super vivid hypnogogic imagery. But I don't think so, my hypnogogic images are all just vague colorful blobs, and this was a fully realized visual scene. + NLD [1]: in BIL's house. There I am in a room in a house, a guy is sitting at a piano, it is my Brother-In-Law M. I see the notes appear on a piece of paper in front of me as he plays, and I hear them together with seeing them appear on the paper. Then I realize it's M, and he's playing on an electronic piano, some sort of cool digital piano where the notes appear on a remote screen as you play them on the keyboard. The sound is very electronic and imitation, not like a digital piano at all, and I think this is odd because he and my sister are both musically inclined. I say "hey you changed your piano," the used to have an upright analog piano, and again I think this is weird that they replaced that awesome piano with for this tinny sounding electronic thing. He crosses the room and vigorously pours himself a glass of wine, sloshing it messily into the glass and some spills to the floor. Things fade and I realize I'm looking at a computer screen with characters on it. Scene changes to a library (?) looking at a computer. + I am outside a building on a 2nd floor balcony/landing with an external entrance door, and I open a door and look in to a short, empty hallway. This is my place, I realize, [false], where my renter lives, and I realize that I shouldn't just barge in on him without prior notice, so I close the hallway door and turn around. I'm standing on a high balcony over a bare courtyard below, get the urge to lean out and fly, realize this means I'm dreaming [10], and I lean out, spread my arms and begin to fly [5]. I'm moving slowly, and I will myself to move faster, I reach behind me with my right arm, and imagine I have an "Iron Man" flight gauntlet on and will it to propel me forwards faster. I fly around a corner still with tall buildings around me, zig zagging right then left, and I see a large open area in front of me with a bunch of people walking around on the ground. I land and the scene fades and I feel myself awake in bed... I remain clam and quiet and a scene returns (DEILD #1 [2]). I'm standing outdoors in daylight in an area similar to where I was before, and there is a sign of some sort, like an advertising banner, a couple of yards square, in front of me, and I will my dream arms to appear and reach out and pound my hands on the sign as a form of stabilization [1]. I feel my arms are a bit heavy/unresponsive and not "real" but pounding on this sign helps bring me more fully into the dream scene. A woman walks by, and I "interact" with her [2]. Scene fades.... I figure I'm on a roll, and that the dream will soon return if I'm patient, and it does... I'm back in the large outdoor area with people walking by [(DEILD #2 [2]). There is a particularly hot, built, middle-Eastern looking woman approaching me, wearing a white evening dress, I think she's perhaps a waitress at a fancy restaurant, and I walk up to her, and "interact" with her for a moment , but not giving her much attention, making up some BS talking points like I'm asking her to get some order in order to "fit in" to the scene, and quickly leave her and move forwards. It is sort of like an outdoor restaurant, there is a tall counter with a female and male bartender standing there, I grab a flute of champagne and drink it [5]. There is not much flavor and the glass itself seems really light like it's empty. I walk a bit further along the bar and reach for another glass while saying "fix me a drink!" and it also, too, feels weightless. A bit further on towards the right-end of the counter/bar is a really tall barman, looking very dour/serious, and I ask him if his name wasn't "xxx" (forgot). "No," he answers, and mutters "Robin." "Ah, sorry" I say, and tell him he's really tall (he is) [DS] and I do a RC (score?) nose pinch and of course can breathe. I sit at the bar there is a group of women sitting there all clumped close together, I reach out and "interact" with one for a while, who turns out to be older but hey it's all good, and ask her to "interact" with me a bit, she starts and the scene fades... Figuring this is one of those once-every-many-years massive awesome DEILD chain, all I have to do is wait and think about the scene and it will continue, and sure enough....it does. I'm standing in a small office / hallway. [(DEILD #3 [2]), I move forwards. There is a low/narrow door / gate in front of me and with a gesture and a thought I blow it open with TK. [5]. I move forwards past this and the office opens into a room with a lot of comforters and chais and sofas to the left. I turn to the left into the area looking for more DCs, and as I turn and move, the area extends further and further into the distance right in front of my eyes. It is now a sort of outdoor area with a bunch of DCs milling around, and I move forwards into this area. There are a number of DCs here and I'm trying to figure out which one to "interact" with and decide on one woman. We move to an area with a bunch of doors that lead to "privacy" areas, and we enter the last one and close the door. The door has a glass window on it so I want to move farther back for more privacy, it's a narrow corridor that opens into a tiny bathroom with a toilet. I remove some of her clothing, get a quick peek, but the scene then fades... Being somewhat displeased at the loss of the dream, I resolve to remain still and return and continue. In a moment, I'm back in the toilet area in the "privacy hall" [(DEILD #4 [2]) but the woman has transformed into a man who is "ready for action" and some other dirty, sort of shifty looking guy is approaching down the corridor, asking "What are you doing with that guy?!". Thankfully, the scene quickly fades.... Figuring that I want to quickly jot down some notes about these dreams before I forgot them, I opened my eyes, got up, and did so, and started the day. One of the night things about being a LD practitioner, is that those unpleasant long bouts of insomnia can sometimes have a silver lining!
NLD 1: I was living on the third or fourth story of an apartment/condo complex. It overlooked a large open grassy park with a parking lot and some hills and trees. The weather looked to be overcast. I could see several vehicles in the parking lot and a family with a father, mother, and one or two children talking with about a dozen police. Their cruisers were parked haphazardly in the parking lot with the sirens on. I couldn't make out the specifics but I knew the husband was in some kind of trouble while the wife and kids didn't know about what he had been doing and were tying to convince the police he was innocent. The wife then started making a scene while her husband ran off into the parking lot with a guilty look on his face. The vehicle he got into had a flat front, like one of those school busses that has the engine in the back. It was a van painted bright yellow/neon green. It had small, thin wheels and poor visibility due to having no windows outside of the windshield and when he started the engine it made a "thwabbb" sound like a lawnmower. I'm like 'really dude, this is what you are picking as your getaway vehicle?!' The man goes around a corner. There is an elevated section of land with a large curved retaining wall made out of brown concrete bricks. to keep erosion down. The road out of the park hugs this wall on an outside corner. The man gets away, going far around the outside of the corner by driving on the grass. The police all scramble to jump into their cruisers and chase after him, but they go around the inside corner right along the brown brick wall. The way the road is sloped, there is a large puddle there which turns out to be quite deep. Maybe a meter. All of the police cruisers drive into the water and stall out as their engines are flooded and the criminal in the van drives off. The wife is heartbroken, realizing that her husband really was a criminal. LD 1: I was on my old college campus when I found out the building I had class in had burned down. The weather was again overcast but all the trees had leaves as though it were summertime. The university quad appears to be larger and though the general layout feels the same I feel as though there is a lot of extra space between all the buildings filled with lawn and trees. I arrived at the building to see nothing but a black pile of rubble and some firemen standing around talking to university officials. Upon seeing the pile of rubble I become lucid. I preform a nose pinch reality check to confirm and yes, I am dreaming. I get excited, but not overly so and take off to fly. Flying this way and that about ten or twenty meters above the university campus doing flips and cartwheels in the air. The dream scene starts to shift as the university buildings and sidewalks altogether disappear leaving me in a grassy plane with large lush-looking deciduous trees strewn about. I think the ocean is visible off in the distance. I fly around a bit more and see an exceptionally large tree, it looks like an oak but I am not certain. This tree has an 'energy' or 'presence' to it like I know it is significant. Similar to sensing the energy of a significant dream figure like Manei. I fly up under the canopy and orbit this way and that around the trunk of the tree. I noticed that the trunk is sort of vertically ribbed. If one were to cleanly cut the tree down they would be met with the shape of a seven sided star with rounded off points, and that this is also somehow significant. The other nearby trees have more traditional circular trunks. I cut out the flying jets and grab onto bark of the giant oak. It has very rough bark with deep cracks between plates I can work my fingers into. I am in that moment literally a tree hugger as my position has me feel like I am hugging the tree, even though I'm more hanging onto its trunk two or three stories above the ground. The tree is able to speak in the language of thoughts. "Please do not cut me down, I have about a hundred healthy years ahead of me still." It says in a deep voice this is simultaneously both calming and very stern. "I was just thinking about the interesting shape of your trunk. I wouldn't dare actually do it." "Good." I detach from the trunk and start hovering again. I look up to the daytime sky and see the moon through a gap in the overcast clouds and think that I want to go fly and find MadMonkey. I have a false awakening. In the FA I feel very groggy. I do a reality check but it fails. I wake up and open my laptop to start writing about the lucid experience with plans of going back to sleep and trying for another lucid dream. I only have a single sentence typed when I actually woke up. WBTB, hoping to get back in. NLD 2: Was watching a spongebob episode. Spongebob was very 'fat' or 'thick' in the front to back direction. His body was more cube-shaped and he had a 5 o'clock shadow. He comes home to his pineapple house and takes out a TV dinner. It says "beef and gravy" on the cover of the TV dinner which looks like a PNG image of a TV dinner contrasting the cel-shaded cartoony style of the rest of the show. He peels it open and eats it while watching TV, making various "mmm" and "aaah" sounds to show that he is enjoying. This gag seems to repeat, with spongebob's body becoming longer and fatter each time and starting to distort in odd and humorous ways. Sometimes he is just physically larger with the cube shaped body and increasingly disproportionately small limbs. At other times he is drawn more with the anatomy of an obese human figure. There are other variations on the TV dinner, though they all seem to be the same beef and gravy. The meat is a light color both in the photograph and when the top of the meal is opened, looking more like pork or chicken with gravy. One time the TV dinner is very small with only one piece of meat. Another time it is huge, so huge it physically fills the inside of spongebob's entire fridge. 2 NLD = 2pts 1 WBTB = 2pts 1 DILD = 10pts RC = 1pts Basic Flight = 5pts DC Interact = 2pts

Y'know, I really love these podcasts with CanisLucidus and OpheliaBlue. They always seem to say the most useful things right when I need to hear it... even if they said it years ago. Anyway, on to the dreams Dream #1 (Fragment, Non-Lucid): A girl was on the subway, heading for Japan. She was confused about Chinese versus Japanese pronunciation. Someone abruptly stopped her at 3:30 to ask a question. That's all. Ironically, I woke up at 3:30. Logged the entry and went to sleep, attempting WILD as usual. I used CanisLucidus's "99, I'm dreaming, 98, I'm dreaming" method this time. Dream #2 (Non-Lucid): Spoiler for suicide: I was watching a Japanese music video about a suicidal girl. It repeatedly showed flashing railway signals, red and green, and the train pulling in, over and over. Finally, the camera panned to the girl standing alone on the station platform. She had longish white hair and two letters in her hand. One was sent to herself (from herself), called "The Decapitated," and the other wasn't shown, but I have the sense it was either for the conductor or a loved one. I stopped watching and was at some train tracks myself. Not a public platform, just random tracks in the middle of the woods. I was checking out the train tracks in preparation for my own suicide... it wasn't going to be that day, but a month or two in the future. I thought, Would you really get decapitated? I suppose you could, but it wouldn't be that simple... The train eventually arrived, and like a squirrel I impulsively ran in front of it, reaching the other side just in time to avoid being hit. Then I remembered it's illegal to do that—I had searched it up before—and I saw people behind me so I bolted. They ran after me, following me into the forest. I ended up getting stuck trying to crawl over a bush. They were going to catch me. "All right, that's enough!" one guy shouted, shining his flashlight on me. I was shocked that they had bothered to give chase in the first place, even more so that I hadn't escaped. A pang of considerable fear struck me. There was an immediate scene change. Now I was not even in the dream, but the "camera" was on a guy wearing a turtle shell, and he said to me, "So, you're trying to WILD? Just give it up." We both became simultaneously alarmed by his words. "I mean, no, no, never mind.... I don't know anymore, you schmuck." ——— I woke up at 4:21. After recording the dream, I lay awake for at least 35 minutes, doubting if I would be able to get back to sleep at all. But I was thinking of LDing and WILD the whole time, and eventually I drifted off. ——— Dream #3 (Lucid): Where do I even start? The order of this dream is so scrambled... I'll try my best. I was on a spaceship, in a small room with my mom and a cabinet of spices. Lucid from the get-go, I remembered my first three-step task: flying! I jumped up and hovered in the air, being careful not to fly through the ceiling in case the dream blacked out. Wriggling in midair, I bragged to my mom, "This is a dream! This is a dream!" She clapped and praised me, yet at the same time, I heard her shrieking at me to do my work. It was weird, but the image of her in that room was super vivid. I remember being amazed and hoping I didn't wake up. Then I had a false awakening. I attempted WILD by imagining my mom as she was before, and she kind of "booted up," but in the end it failed. So I went to sleep normally and the next thing I remember is being in my living room, lucid again. I pushed my brother aside and jumped into and through the front door, trying to teleport. I emerged in total blackness.* At first I assumed I had woken up, but then I thought, Wait, what if this is the "void" CanisLucidus mentioned? Remembering how he hailed it as an effective teleportation tool, I tried to summon up a scenery. Grainy graphics resembling the ATNRPG logo popped up.** (I started playing it yesterday.) There were four letters instead of six, and they kept changing, most of them somewhat Greek-looking. I wasn't surprised; I was glad for the typical dream sign. I entered what I for some reason believed to be a WILD transition. I was in the woods in front of a stream, mentally comparing it to its real life counterpart. This one had more greenery, and the trees were packed more densely. A kid from my ESS class appeared, floating face-down in the river. (I was reminded of Dazai from BSD.) But he wasn't completely limp, rather suspending his waist over the water while keeping his head submerged. My friend A was with me and we pulled him out, despite his struggles. "Can't you see I'm trying to die here?" he snapped. "You should do a better job of it then," I said coldly. "Besides, we'll get in big trouble if we're caught turning a blind eye." He pushed us away and even started throwing punches. A was distressed but I figured it was a good opportunity to solidify the dream. Unfortunately, I couldn't feel anything. Don't remember the end of the scene, maybe it was another FA+false DEILD. I was on a spaceship again, literally on top of it, mostly non-lucid. My body was a mechanical bunny, and making it walk was quite difficult. A little astronaut was with me, and we had to avoid these moving concrete traffic barriers; touching them would be fatal. (On some level it was a video game.) He opened a door for us but I somehow entered the wrong one. I came across a device with the ability to change the background of my alarm clock. I was like, "Oh wow, I never knew that my alarm clock background could change!" (I was a little bit lucid since I assumed it would change it in real life.) A selection of anime-style backgrounds filled the screen. I scrolled through the various themes, among them Irisu Syndrome, Yume Nikki, generic night skies, et cetera. I was going to choose the first, but I couldn't buy it because I needed 30 "tickets" and owned none. How am I supposed to get tickets? Never heard of 'em, I thought grumpily. I accidentally pressed a button but canceled it by hitting "esc." I think it also teleported me to the correct door and sent me through. I was lucid again, more than before, walking through the spaceship's hallway with a bunch of people. I decided to go with the flow and follow them, wondering if they would take me anywhere important. We went through one of those futuristic, automatic, semi-circle-shaped doors into a room I didn't pay enough attention to to remember. I thought of the competition, under the impression that this was its own separate dream, unaware of the false DEILDs. I said hello to a reporter lady and she happily greeted me back. Then I tried to push my finger through my palm but it didn't work at all, so I looked at my hands instead. Totally normal. For a moment I assumed it was because the dream was so stable, but perhaps I was just being cocky. I looked closer and bam, suddenly I only had three short fingers on each hand! It was so creepy I actually said "Eek!" and shook them out. I looked away and in my peripheral vision saw them return to normal. I worried the repulsion would wake me up, so I distracted myself by flying. It was unusually difficult; I had to kick myself into the air and flail around to stay afloat. "Stop that," the reporter scolded. I did, and she led me over to a marked circle on the ground, asking me some questions I didn't listen to nor answer. I wracked my brain for the memory of my next three-step task, but nothing came up. Again I worried about waking up, and maybe the dream dissolved, or I had an FA, but this is the next scene I remember: My memories of this part are particularly fuzzy, and I wasn't even in it. There was a play going on (in the same spaceship I believe) but a couple actors had been abducted—a gay boy and a pretty blond girl. An image of the latter flashed across the screen, anime style, of course. Short wavy hair, long eyelashes, a floppy hat, and a white sundress. Someone said, "Oh, I knew that gay guy was going to get abducted someday." "Well, I knew that girl was going to get abducted someday," someone else put in. [The visuals were very bad.] "[Name], you should have watched her better." [Name] was a teenage boy who probably had a crush on the blond girl. "I thought it would be creepy to watch her too much..." he mumbled. They were about to set out on a rescue mission, but before they did, I woke up for real at 5:36. There was a sort of hypnopompic transition into wakening, similar to the turtle guy but less vivid. A monk was facing the "camera" and talking about lucid dreaming. I don't remember what he said. ——— The reason the order of everything is so confused in my brain is because I didn't write it down right away. When I first awoke, I still believed all those false awakenings were actual DEILDs, and I tried to do another one. But after a while I realized that this time was different than the others and I needed to hurry and write down the dream, or I would forget. Anyway, this is my first LD of the competition! YAY! Maybe I'll draw some pics for it tomorrow. Edit: Pics! About time for some good lucids! Dream 1: I was working with a friend to build a road, with the very same tractor that was at my old construction job. In the sky though I saw an eye, which got me lucid. I believe I teleported through a wall to a dark room before losing lucidity. I then remember turning the lights on and watching some old movies when a set of grenades was put on my desk from the movie. I was fine until it was turned on accidentally. I threw it as far as I could but it was still pretty close. Hiding under my bed, it didn’t just explode. It had a mini machine gun inside that shot me a couple times but was blocked mostly by the bed, and eventually went away. I then woke up. Dream 2: I was going into town with a friend of mine. (Who I'll refer to as FE) In this dream, she was a catgirl for some reason. We stopped at this coffee shop in the middle of town and shared this cinnamon roll. I was outdoors when I realized something wasn’t right and got lucid. I tried teleporting but it didn’t work. The dream felt like it was ending so I grounded yet lost lucidity. Came over to another friend’s house. (C) Somehow FE turned into this yellow 2D horse thing. Then for some reason C was this huge asshole, and his girlfriend was just as irritating. They didn't let me leave. Suddenly though, FE turns back into a catgirl and sits on C's lap and starts licking him. Me and his girlfriend were shocked as hell, and I woke up. Dream 3: A friend of mine sat me down to watch the Mario Movie 2. It was about Mario, Luigi, and DK climbing this impossible mountain that people lived in, but the height brainwashed them. Turns out some witch was there. I made it a few minutes in and it ended. Apparently the guy who showed me said it was a collection of some leaked clips posted on reddit. I was confused, because I thought I would’ve heard of this by now, and then he insulted me. I gave him a “fuck you” and walked away
Before WBTB Russian Ride I'm traveling internationally and I don't speak the language where I am at. I'm getting off a train or bus looking for the airport. I see another bus leaving and I wave my arms and chase it, yelling for it to stop. It does. I try to ask the driver where the airport is and he tells me (in English) that the bus is full. It clearly isn't. I wonder if there is some law saying there must be X number of open seats. Regardless, I stay on the bus and he doesn't kick me off. I make my way to the back of the bus. It resembles the CATA bus system from back home. In the back car is a girl with one leg. Short hair, kinda "bad-girl type". She has khaki pants on, and the missing leg has it tied to cover the stump. I sit next to her and ask for help. She's friendly. Some time later we are back at her apartment. It's a big studio, kinda messy with paint and art all over the place. I realize that I'm a girl, and that she may be gay. I get the impression she might have been coming onto me. Later I'm running from Russian agents. I'm running through an apartment complex, entering and leaving through doors/windows. I'm really high up. When I go outside I'm sidling on just-big-enough edges to not fall. I don't know why they are chasing me. I eventually make my way down from the tall complex and make it to the ground but I haven't shook them. I'm in a down-town Chinatown type area at night. There is a big crowd of people and I'm trying to use them to escape from the Russian agents. I'm at a bar with two floors open to the outside. There are some TVs running with couches set in front of them. There are some dark corners I can hide in. I try out a few and crouch down, but I decide that none of them are good enough and keep moving. Then I stand up face-to-face with one of the agents. He looks like Dr. Brenner from Stranger Things. Running again. This time it was short. I ended up in a stone building on a grassy hill, hiding underground. But they've just found me. There is the leader (Dr. Brenner) and two thug-types. They are going to torture me for information. I tell them I've only killed one time, and I wasn't sure if it was me or my uncle who pulled them trigger. I guess I was trying to intimidate them. It doesn't work. They casually talk to me about something and then without warning Dr. Brenner shoots my right ear off with a pistol. I cry out in pain (S hears me and tries to shake me awake). It doesn't hurt as much as I expected it would. They tell me that they will shoot off the other ear if I don't comply. I wake up and tell S I am OK. After WBTB W Aged Up I'm at my Grandma P's house in the bedroom sleeping on the bed. I've slept in later than everybody else. I roll over and see some old drawings I made in my childhood on the wall. My grandma will have decided to have kept them. They are hyper realistic and drawn in pencil. Somehow, they are holographic. I think to myself that maybe I should get back into art. W, my brother's son who is due in September, bursts into the room with his friend, Ian. He's four years old. I can't tell who is who and I feel bad about it. But now I know it is because W isn't born yet. One of them has buck teeth. I follow them around the house and then one kid is missing. I find W/Ian eating dish cleaning tablets under sink. Standard kid behavior I guess Lucid Fragment I'm in a large mall, reminiscent of one from an old marching band trip from high school. I do a nose reality check and realize I'm dreaming. I double take...crap! I was dreaming that whole time before with W! I think to myself that step one is to find my DG...but my lucidity slips and I wander off. Conditions Medium workout early in day Big dinner 2 drinks of alcohol Stayed up late 6hr/30m WBTB Yuschak Primary Trigger (8Mg Galantamine, 250Mg Choline Bitartrate) Notes My theory on what happened here...sleep cycle issues. Instead of jumping into the same sleep cycle I was just in, I jumped into the beginning of a later one. I stayed up until about 2:30am playing Zelda and then set an alarm for 8:30am...so about 6 hours after sleep. I know that 5h45m has been a good target for me, so I was experimenting with a larger time to test and see if it can be improved. One problem though is that I didn't have an established wake-sleep rhythm. Plus, I stayed up longer than the typical 15m during the WBTB. I planned slightly longer at 20m but it was more like 30m. I don't think the alcohol will have mattered much because of the later timing, but it could have played a part. Lesson learned: Next time, have an established sleep rhythm. Gonna say data inconclusive about 6h/20m WBTB setup.

Robes Summoning Attempt Four (WILD) 06.04.2023 I realize how quickly I am falling asleep after my WBTB so I do a nose pinch RC and confirm my WILD worked. I get out of bed and have a hard time stabilizing. I summon my robes of Anorak and try pulling up a HUD but without luck. I destabilize and DEILD. Again I try the robes. It DEILD many times and get discouraged. I try taking out my phone wnd calling Juliana. She anawers and gives me some encouragement. I try pulling uo the HUD and it works! I tap the search bar abd say "Juliana's Cottage' and snap my fingers and then I am there. I go through the door and Juliana is there. I feel tired because of all the DEILDe so all we do is talk for the rest of the dream. Update 5:45 PM! This is Juliana. I suddenly remembered my memories of my perspective of the dream. I was sittimg in my cottage in the dark. I don't know why I didn't light the fireplace. I waited for half an hour and then Monkey showed up we talked but I don't remember what we talked about.

1 Don’t remember the context of this one, but I realized I was dreaming (+10 for DILD), and then everything started to fade for no reason. So, I quickly did something to reform the dream so it didn’t completely go, and it ended up becoming an FA when it was reformed, so I lost lucidity, thinking I missed my opportunity. But I walked into the living room of my house, and did an RC quickly (+1 for RC / Stabilization), which made me realize I was dreaming again. I then walked out to the front yard with no footwear on, then onto the road. I was thinking of burrowing into the ground and completely phasing through it for the three-step task, but unfortunately I woke up right before that. For a very long time while I was awake (+2 for WBTB), I tried hard to remember the context to me getting lucid in that dream, but I couldn’t. I eventually just gave up, wrote it down, and returned to sleep. 2 I was playing some ULTRAKILL, and I quickly realized I was dreaming (+5 for subsequent DILD). I was in the middle of fighting a malicious face, an enemy which can fire a hitscan laser. The malicious face’s laser can be deflected if you throw a coin right at the beam (this is called a chargeback). So since it was a dream, I thought I would go for some chargebacks on it. I tried backflipping while throwing a coin, but the coin missed the laser and I almost got shot. I think I woke up a little bit after that. 3 I was in the middle of falling asleep, when I regained consciousness and realized I could form a dream really quick with WILD, so I focused on random imagery that kept popping in my head, and it worked. (+10 for WILD) I entered a dream in my living room. With haste, I moved to the porch, and tried to plan what to do. But once again, I woke up before doing anything. Man I really have lucid length issues huh? I really needa fix that.
