    1. Midsummer Nightmare

      My dream, this past night, was non-lucid. I wasn't aware I was dreaming until seconds before I awoke.
      I was in a field surrounded by silver roses when a person came up to me, asking for help. I wasn't sure why, but I trusted this person. He took my hand and led me into a forest filled with several types of trees.
      In the middle of the entire forest was a weeping willow. It was larger than most but it was still beautiful.
      The man sat with me under the tree for a time and I looked around, wondering why there were no animals that should be there.
      I looked over at the male and saw his eyes flash a deep sapphire blue before turning back to a jade emermald.
      I didn't think as I stood and ran.
      Now that I think about it, when I woke up, I saw a snake following me just before I left the dream.

      I was in this alley way with some people from school. then some really shady people came along and I left. I then heard yelling so I thought there was a fight, so I ran back. I forget what happened...

      I was about to try and bum a cigarette off of my friend's friend, but then decided that would be annoying, so I stopped halfway through asking him. My friend would doesn't smoke in real life then gave me one.

    3. Living on a Half-Water Molecule

      I was in a rectangular room that was about 20x15 feet. It had polished hardwood floors, and a rectangular red shag carpet in the corner. Two of the walls, one long and the short one adjacent to it, each had a greyish-tan fireplace that, instead of having short rectangular stones, consisted of the rounder kind like you'd find at the beach, except much bigger. It almost looked like something out of a cartoon. The fires were on in both of them. In the middle of the room, off more to the left and away from the red carpet, was a small round coffee table.

      The overall atmosphere of the room was comfortable. There was a warm glow emanating within the room, though the lights were somewhat dimmed. There was also music in the background, but it was so soft I don't know if it was ambient noise, or a stereo playing on very low volume.

      Along with me, there was a few people standing in the room, to the right of the coffee table. I had watched X-Men: First Class a few days back, so this must be where some of the characters came from. I saw Michael Fassbender's rendition of Magneto, in a white shirt and tan pants, talking to Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones), who was wearing a green hoodie and jeans. Finally, I saw Seth Green (no idea where he came from!), and he was wearing a pale brown T-shirt. He was with the other two people, but then he turned to me and gestured for me to come over. I obeyed and briefly greeted Magneto and Banshee, but I don't remember if I said anything. Seth faced the group and held his hand up, appearing to be holding a tiny ball in his fingers. I looked closer and it was a light blueish ball of swirling air, no bigger than a marble.

      "This," said Seth, "is the first-ever half-water molecule. This is what we're on right now."

      I was fascinated. This dream was sort of like Avatar, except we were asleep right now and had another set of bodies on a different planet.

      The dream then fast-forwarded, and I saw Banshee and Magneto passing a smaller beach ball back and forth, standing closer to the rug this time. Magneto looked as if he was having difficulty catching it and squinted as the ball came to him, which wasn't really 'floating' up in the air the way a normal beach ball would. I didn't say anything to them, but I remember standing off to the side and looking at Banshee, suspicious, thinking he wasn't supposed to be there.

      Another skip occurred, and I was now in a rather fancy restroom. This room was sort of L-shaped, with the first line being around ten feet long, five feet wide (there was a door on the end), which connected to the second line which was much fatter and almost more square-shaped, ten feet wide and fifteen feet long. The restroom had beautiful, larger shiny brown tiles that were mutely swirled with a golden color, and along the right side of the squarer part of the restroom was one long white counter with three or four sinks. There were also two sinks, in another white countertop, in the long section near the entrance. Back to the square section, on the left of the sinks were pale green cubicles. They looked like the ones at my school, but they were nicer, with gold and bronze plating down the edges, and they were a bit wider than normal cubicles.

      I remember "knowing" that my mom was going to come into the room, and I was going to discuss the possibility of using water to induce lucid dreaming with her.

    4. Not My Room

      The dream starts with me opening my eyes to see my room, only, not quite. I immediately notice that there's something wrong with my room and look up to see that there's a panda in the corner of my ceiling. The panda stared back at me, and that's when I noticed the panda's eyes were red, and it was not one of those adorable fluffy things you see on Animal Planet. The panda's eyes started to make me feel uncomfortable so I decide to close my eyes in attempt to wake up from the dream.

      When I open my eyes again the panda's gone. But I'm seated in an awkward position that I don't remember falling asleep in, slouching forward over my knees, and realise that I still haven't woken up from the dream yet. So once again I close my eyes.

      At this point I start to get worried. I've woken up in a different position, lying on my stomach with my head to the foot of the bed, and it's really really dark. I feel like something's in the room with me, and I try slowly inching closer to my light in an attempt to turn it on. After a couple attempts I realise I can't move. So I close my eyes tightly and try to will myself to wake up.

      I remember that it has always been a fear of mine to fall asleep and never wake up, and when I open my eyes again, the room is red. Someone's replaced the lightbulb of my bedside lamp with a red tinted one and the whole room looks unbelievably creepy. I start hyperventilating and trying to convince myself that I will wake up soon, but the more I try the creepier the room gets. The walls go red, someone starts laughing, I think back to the scene in 'Insidious' where that goat demon thing is dancing and the music starts up.

      I close my eyes once more. Then I wake up.
    5. Amazing Story

      This dream was kinda long and very complex but it was funny

      I was in a very beautiful city with many villas around me. The sun was shining and there was no cloud in the sky. Then for some reason 2 guys chased me (I guess I did something to them :O) and I ran away. I used my parkour skills to jump over small walls and climb up things and that stuff but the guys were really fast. I could get some distance between them and me but then suddenly there was a huge beach in front of me. I decided to jump into the water and swim away but the guys were just better in swimming than me...
      They got me and pulled me underwater to drown me into unconsciousness. The funny thing was that I could breath underwater (I noticed it and almost got lucid) but before I could think more about it one of the guys packed me and carried me away. They took me to a huge building (Everything seemed like it was in Egypt) and told me I have to choose my destiny. I was now inside that building and there were 4 cages and many people that looked like gladiators. I went to a guy and he told me that every cage will be sent into a different location. I should choose in which one I want to go. I looked around and asked where they would go. They told me that 1 cage will be sent into a arena to fight to death, one will be sent into a trap house or something, one will be sent to a volcanoe and the last one will be sent to an island with many dangerous animals and creatures. For some reason I found the idea of being sent to a island with creatures funny and so I agreed. Then the dream got somehow strange. I now was in the middle of a riot from all the gladiators. We got out of the building and ran to freedom. The guys who caught me tried to stop us but we knocked them out (there were some indicators on how long they were stunned like in a game). We got into a elevator and when we drove up the dream scene changed again. I was inside the building again and had to choose my cage. I chose the one with the island and walked in. The cage was huge and it looked like it was from a beach (some mossy stones, sand and a couple of bushes). I wanted to sit down on a stone but there was a huge snail on it. I pulled it down and threw it in the corner. There were other gladiators with me and they talked about dying and that stuff but I told them that this will be fun. I also told them that we should choose a partner to train with for the animals. The other gladiators sat down and I felt like in a movie. When we were about to go my mom came inside my room and woke me up

    6. Angry Birds...

      I find myself at my mother’s house with two of my older brothers. In the dream, I know it’s my mother’s house but it’s not the same house as in the waking world. My mother is complaining because some baby ducks are either trapped or holed up underneath the house and/or porch and they keep “chirping”.

      My parents have a 2 ½ acre yard with a pond in the back half of it. When I was little, we had ducks on the property, so it was not unusual back then to see baby ducks around the house now and then.

      Anyway, in the dream, my Mom is afraid the baby ducks will die if they’re not rescued, plus the chirping is driving her nuts. So me and my two brothers crawl under the house/porch and retrieve the baby ducks. In doing so, we also find that there are some small green birds under there as well. They’re about the size of a small mouse. I pick up one of the birds and as I do, it tries to bite my hand. Luckily, I have gloves on. I tell my brothers, “It’s trying to bite me.” One of them says something like, “Yeah, watch out. They’re mean and they bite!” I can’t seem to stop the bird I’m holding from trying to bite me, and I’m starting to lose my grip on it, so instinctively, I squeeze the bird as hard as I can to try and kill it. It seems to work, because the bird stops moving. I look around for a place to dispose of it, but don’t see any trash cans around. So I end up just tossing it into the bushes.

      I usually remember more than one dream during the night. But I'm on vacation in Honduras scuba diving and sleeping in a strange bed. I tossed and turned and only got about 5 hours of sleep.
    7. Graves, CatPelts, Closet Void, Blizzard

      1. I was cleaning up a grave yard. Someone had tipped over all the tombstones and I took it upon myself to right them. At some point I also fell into a grave that was half dug open.

      2. I was at a house helping someone with repairs. We came into a room to discover hundreds of cat pelts laying all over the floor. Some still had the heads attached. I had to find out who would do such a terrible thing.

      3. Lucid: Woke at 3:13am, drank, back to bed
      Dream started off OBE like. I floated out of my body and into a vertical position before landing on the floor. I began looking through drawers and cupboards with the feeling that something important was waiting to be discovered. A hallway closet was empty, a void. I picked up a shoe and tossed it into the void. It disappeared into the darkness. I don't hear it land anywhere. I decide to just do it and jump in. But I didn't fall down. I fell forward and horizontally into the blackness. I keep falling and I do not recall if I fell into a new dream or if I might have awakened.

      4. I was outside when a vicious blizzard decides to strike. I can't even see a foot ahead of myself. When the blizzard finally dies down I am surrounded by giant snow drifts. Shapes adorn the drifts. Some are just hand prints. Others are names. One is a large heart that is a message to me. I can't remember the message but I stomped through the snow to write a message back that said, "I know. See you soon." I then tried to find my way to shelter.
    8. Most Haunted

      i was in a dream last night where i could not see anything, i was lying in a bed in a dark room and my friends were in other rooms next to me doing the same. we were lying there trying to provoke the afterlife to come to us. i herd my friend shouting something from the other room and then i started to feel my body being pulled towards the bottom of the bed. i started to shout back to my friend and woke myself up because i was actually shouting in my sleep.

      other parts to this dream:-

      i had the feeling i have had the same (if not, similar) dream before.
      i herd my fiancee turn toward me just before i woke myself up with my shouting

      i told my fiancee this was a nightmare i had but i enjoyed it (scary but enjoyable)

    9. Fear of Lucidity?

      Some weird psychotropic thriller, I do not know what was going on but Dark_Merlin and I were attempting some weird lucid technique and every time someone said its title it occurred for one of us but it was extremely traumatic. It was a teleportation but it was sudden, uncontrollable and felt like what apparition in Harry Potter is described to feel like only worse. It scared the hell out of me and actually had me not wanting to go back to sleep when I had woken up for the first time in about ten years. I feel that I must admit that I was actually scared of becoming lucid and I hope that this is not a barrier to future attempts. Hamish and Andy had also requested that I meet them for lessons in walking each week. The girl I love was also at the tennis courts. The dream jumped between all of these things in a weird order. The whole dream was rather traumatic at the time. I was genuinely terrified of going back to sleep.
    10. fjord collapse; rescuing drowned boy; abortion jokes

      Dream #1

      No vision, or just black. A voice said how "an entire fjord" (???) in France had collapsed into the sea.

      Dream #2

      A bunch of people, possibly including me, were on a huge ship like a cruise ship. A disaster had occurred -- possibly that another gigantic cruise ship had come apart and sunk. Almost everybody on board had been killed. The people on this new cruise ship were now out in the ocean, not to find the living people, but to pull out of the water a lot of dead people who were floating to the surface.

      The ship coasted over the black waters and under a yellow sky. A young woman with coppery skin and long, black hair stood out on the deck of the ship. She spotted the body of a young man who had apparently drowned. She threw out a rope to grab the boy's body. She pulled the body onto the ship.

      The woman was now in a cabin right on deck. The body of the young man was laid out on the floor of the front room of the cabin. The woman had walked into a back room. She now walked out to the front room. I may have seen from her viewpoint at this time.

      The young man on the floor was possibly Asian, with coppery skin. He wore a yellow t-shirt and darkish khaki shorts or casual pants. He was a little bit overweight and shaved bald. He looked older than his age, somehow. I attributed it to the stress of his death and the effect of the water on his body.

      But now the young man began to make motions with his mouth. He slowly mouthed some words and made some cringing expressions with his eyebrows, as if he were in extreme pain, and as if he were still afraid of dying. He may have coughed some water out of his mouth.

      There were some other people in the cabin, possibly including the Captain. It was recognized, possibly by the Captain, that the woman had saved the young man's life. I'm pretty sure I saw from my own viewpoint at this point, not from the woman's. The woman said that she had a feeling, when she saw the boy in the water, that he was still alive, or that he could be resuscitated.

      Dream #3

      I was watching a comedy. But it was also like I was reviewing the movie, after I'd seen it. Reviewing the movie, I commented that I had no idea there was going to be a scene with such crude humor in it.

      I could only partly remember the scene, and I kept trying to see it, but it had something to do with abortion. It was like it was blocked from my view by a lot of sillhouettes of people's heads.

      I then saw another scene, in which a group of "average guys," like in a comedy for guys, were all standing next to each other before a table filled with jars of aborted babies. The guys had to pull the babies out of the jars for some kind or humane reason. But they were all kind of bumbling about at the task so much that they were actually disfiguring the bodies.

      The men were using weird implements to get the babies out of the jars. One of the men used a huge knife, to which the baby stuck, like a magnet. The baby's back may have looked charred. The baby may also have had eyes with no whites, which were all a dark grey-blue.

      I felt bad because for some reason I had taken my mom to this movie with me. I had thought it was just an ordinary comedy. But those two abortion-comedy scenes were really gross, and I was afraid my mom would be freaked out by them.

      My mom and I were in a car, pulling into a space in a big parking lot. I tried to justify the grossness of the comedy in the movie by explaining that the film had been made by the guy who made There's Something about Mary.
    11. [LUCID] Wings

      I woke up around 4:00 A.M. and decided to do WILD. Maybe I fell asleep, maybe I entered a dream right away, I don't know but it felt like I was in a dream the second I closed my eyes. So I am lying there on bed with my eyes wide open and there is some number written on my blanket. I decided to do an RC so I looked at number again and it changed. I knew that I was dreaming. I done poke hand test and it suceeded. But, I couldn't move, I was like restricted with something. I couldn't get out of bed. I closed my eyes and noticed that I can move freely with my eyes closed so I got out of bed with my eyes closed and then I opened them and I was able to move again. I heard a dog barking from somewhere (this was probably the influence from outside because when I woke up there was some dog barking). As I walked around my house I noticed nothing strange and I heard someone comming from bedroom. I wanted to shot portal entrance from my hands at the doors but I failed. When I get out of house, I noticed that sky was blue with million of airplane traces. I walked a little around the garden to catch up some details. After that I wanted to fly so I decided to grow wings. There was some bird feather floating around me and I started sucking it and I grew wings...a really small ones. I wasn't able to fly properly. Unfortunately I lost lucidity somewhere around this point and it continued as a normal dream. Suddenly I am turned into flying squirrel and I'm seeing my self from third person camara. I am floating on some icy terrain with wind carrying me away. I was desperately trying to to control of myself but didn't succeed. Suddenly some huge silver bird broke out of ice and carried me away.

    12. The Camping Ground - 34th Lucid

      The dream begins in the bush with dad. We just got out of a car at the edge of a new camping ground. It is small, rounded and at the edge of the ground the tree line begins, and continues on into the forest. There is a very large kangaroo a few meters away from us, looking over occasionally. It is after mid-day and the sun is shining through the trees, creating a beautiful dappled afternoon and a joyous feeling as we arrive.

      Dad starts commenting about the camping ground. "Gee, this is pretty ugly. I thought it'd be bigger." I have memories of this place, perhaps from a previous dream or the terrain was created from a memory of bush land. I think it's absolutely beautiful, but I just talk along with Dad anyway. "It's a bit small I guess", for most of this time my eyes have been glued to the kangaroo, who is still standing around and un-afraid of our presence. To the left, there are two people sitting around some sort of camp-fire, I catch them in my peripheral vision as they stand and say "It's nice once you get used to it". Dad makes a comment about how he could take out the roo with a shotgun, and is now standing at a table where the car was parked, looking at a long box which contained a shotgun.

      Memory jumps a little here, but I assume the two people start taking us in to a large wooden cabin. We walk through a door on the left side of the building, the inside is a large hall space. A boy from school I don't often talk to - Max - walks up to me, and the first thing he says to me is "You're dreaming, you know?"
      "Oh, I am?" I wasn't quite sure - everything seemed very realistic and I hadn't realised till now the strange dream-like feeling. I could tell before I had RC'd, but I did it anyway, and plugged my nose and breathed in. Awesome!

      I turn to him, start rubbing my hands together to stabilise, and with the situation at hand I take the opportunity to ask a question, directed at the dream character but aimed to get an answer from my subconscious, I look him straight in the eyes.
      "How come this doesn't happen more often?"
      "Huh?"
      "How come you don't normally tell me when I'm dreaming?"
      "Oh, you know, uh.." He was really unresponsive.
      "Is it an effort thing?"
      I can't remember if he replied or the dream skipped, but he ended up saying
      "You know, where I'm from there's this trick with water-"
      and instantly I remembered - Yes! My goals! The ToTM!
      "Thank you!"

      I start walking backwards out of the building, and think "When I turn around, there will be water." I pictured a lake, or a large, clear puddle behind me. When I turned, there was a few trees in front of a clearing, where there was a murky, muddy puddle. I walked towards it, saying in my head "I am walking to the water" over and over.

      I stood infront of the puddle, facing towards the cabin. I stepped, trying to stand on the water and my foot simply planted straight into it. Hm. I tried both feet and failed. I believe I could have tried to lift myself out of the water after having both feet in, but I can't remember it completely and I'm not going to count it as complete. When I was done, I stood infront of the puddle again - this time for the advanced task. I started with water bending - something I've done completely naturally in a lucid dream before - but now I was thinking about it. I try and raise the water in a stream, using my hands to guide it up. It doesn't work, but I somehow make a splash in the puddle, and increase the effort and concentration I'm putting into the telekenesis. The murky water collects into one ball at eye level, gently swirling around while I increase the intensity to gather more water.

      People started to gather and I realised I needed to control two elements, and not just water. While holding the ball of water in the air, I focus on the ground and try and raise up the dirt in columns - it doesn't work. Okay, wind! I start yelling, louder and louder as they do in Dragon Ball Z, feeling as I draw in more energy. The last time I did this in a dream I woke up just before I was finished and I didn't want that to happen again so I stopped increasing the volume. Loads of people were standing around me now - one was filming. I could see the wind blowing around me but I couldn't feel it yet - and the dream was starting to fade! I put all my effort in and felt the air rushing forwards against my back - success!


      I woke up into a False Awakening, hearing an occasional dull buzzing noise. I presumed it was my phone, and turned to find out I had fallen asleep in bed on IRC with my netbook. I had been added to a private channel with ShockWave, Raspberry and a few new members I didn't recognise - I was also using webchat. I closed the windows and had a sudden panic that the lucid hadn't saved in the word document! (Which I never typed.) I woke up, as I went to check for the document, and started writing the dream out.

      Actually managed to WILD tonight... I was lying in bed bored and trying to sleep, I was pretty relaxed even though I had not previously been sleeping and I just decided to construct dream scape around me. I built a castle around me but instantly forgot that I was dreaming and so the whole WILD experience was non lucid i.e. WI(N)LD. I was lucid for a grand total of maybe ten seconds so I will not count this as a proper lucid. I went on to explore a church yard at night and some other Gothic style stuff, I surprisingly do not remember much. Then again I was busy this morning and so have left it about eighteen hours to write it down.
    14. Day #5- Nothing much- stress- foreseeing the future

      I have a bit of stress in my life at the moment so it kind of clouds my mind. I vaguely attempted a Lucid dream but my mind got clouded over.

      I'm going to start meditating because I've experienced the clear mind before and its an amazing feeling. I'm only making assumptions that stress will inhibit your ability to lucid dream and meditation will strengthen it.

      A wierd thing happened but I had a dream that a post on here was answered, when I woke up and checked, the exact post that I had been dreaming about had 2 new replies. cool ey
