1. Dark Angels of Vengeance

by , 08-14-2012 at 11:22 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
**abridged due to pain***

I leap out of bed. I am a savage white werelion with a necklace of tiny skulls around my neck. I roar and create a portal with a bone-dagger.

I leap through, spinning, and land on the moon.

I am near the koi pond. Raven is watching the fish.

She looks at me. I morph into a quicksilver dragon, then a giant three headed canine with the head of a pit bull, a wolf, and a chihuahua. I growl softly.

"FLUFFY!" Raven laughs and hugs me.

"Someone is going to have nightmares tonight." Raven slams her fist into her palm, and she becomes enwreathed in violet and black flame. Her dress becomes black, and she grows two horns. Her eyes become green and lavender. She laughs maniacally and creates a portal.

A zombie-basset hound head comes out of my chest, and sniffs the ground. We leap into the portal, and end up in the bedroom of a fat want to be badass. He has posters of Sylvester Stallone on his walls and some dumbells on the floor.

"So, this is the sadistic "bad ass" that tortures dogs for pleasure?" Raven asks.

I leap on to his chest and smell him with my zombie-hound head. "Yep. This is our target."

Raven chuckles, and I quietly growl with all four heads. The room vibrates with the rumbles. The man's astral body wakes up. I bark with my pit bull head, howl with my wolf head, bay with my hound head, and yip maniacally with my chihuahua head. The din is maddening.

The man screams in sheer terror, trying to push me off of him. I jump off and he runs out the door into the street. Raven and I teleport outside, and Raven summons a wall in front of him which he slams into.

I roar, and alter the landscape to be a giant puppy mill completely on fire. I turn the man's clothes into a dog costume. He runs around freaking out. Raven creates a small cage, which he runs into.

We slowly walk into it. The man is backed up against a wall. The man's face is frozen in a silent scream. Raven creates a portal on the back wall. It looks sinister with black thorns swirling around it.

"only one way out," Raven states flatly.

The man looks at us. I am frothing at all four mouths. He leaps into a portal to Hell. We follow.

The man falls down for hours, and lands on a boulder in a great cavern full of fiery pits. Demon dogs fly about in pain and anger. I leap upon him, and devour his innards. He writhes and screams in pain. Raven shoots a bolt of lightning into his mouth placidly. His body reforms.

Raven and I merge into a great fiery angel-demon. We grab the man, and fling him into outer space, and follow. "here you will die, o 'brave warrior'," I whisper.

"Who are you?" He screams.

"WE ARE VENGEANCE!"

The man wakes up. We are in his room, a dark witch and monster. He sits up and sees us. "We are Nightmares." he screams and wets the bed. We laugh and fade away.
2. mourning on Kulkulkan

by , 07-26-2012 at 06:44 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
I am at Kulkulkan, weeping, sitting at the top of the pyramid.

Raven flies down and asks me what's wrong.

FUCK 2012. Everything's falling apart. I hate my waking life. I just want to live here forever.

Raven says nothing, but sends healing energy to me. I stop crying, and stand up and give her a hug.

I miss you, I miss MoSh... I am so frustrated with my broken body in Wakeworld.

But, we're here now, Nomad. Come.

Raven opens a portal to the Healing Glen, and we step through. We are in a lovely glen in a deciduous/pine forest in late winter. The Frost Giant steps through, parting trees like cane stalks.

"The winter is almost past, brother. Spring is coming soon."

I collapse on the grass in exhaustion. MoSh, Tigress, and Pablo appear, and I feel them healing me as tears silently pour out of my closed eyes. I hear music... Bakara... everyone is playing music. I get up, and we take turns healing each other.

We walk back to the Frost Giant's Cave. Joseph is there. He is now a young teenage boy, about 15. He smiles at me, and turns into a giant eagle. I applaud and laugh. He turns back into a boy, and suddenly bursts into tears. "Thank you for rescuing me from the nightstalker demon." He grabs Raven and I and hugs us tightly.

"Everyone, come by the fire, I made some stew," says the Frost Giant. "We will reforge ancient bonds as we share food, drink, and stories."

(to be continued when my hands don't hurt.)
3. My adventures as a crow (old dream) 02/12/2011

by , 04-12-2012 at 05:22 AM (My Dream Records)
Im asleep in my bed focusing on my breathing, when all of a sudden my body went numb and everything went completely silent. i then heard buzzing sounds and continued to focus on my energy aura increasing, i lifted my astral left arm and tried to peel of my sleep mask (i normally wear) on my face. but i kept pulling and pulling away until im just touching my eyes??? hmmmm.....last time i checked...i was wearing my sleep mask. or am i really awake and my sleep mask came off??? after all this trying to put my understanding into whether or not im dreaming i finally get up off the bed turn on the light and notice my sleep mask is gone? real funny brain. but im too aware, and refuse to become lost into fucking oblivion! so i walk over to my mirror and focus my energy into becoming a crow. i felt my arms become wings, my head become small, and my nose and mouth became long and curvy into a dark charcoal beak.my body shrink and it became filled with glossy black feathers. im now fully formed as this intelligent mischievious little bird, and decided its time to spread my wings and fly off into the night! i cawed 4 times and flew out my window into the night skies, i landed on a telephone pole and begin cawing away, it was very foggy and my city (here in Detroit Mi) looked a bit different? am i even at home anymore??? not feeling afraid nor having any thought at all..i cawed a few more times. i then noticed a beautiful raven flew a few feet away from where i was, and landed on top another telephone pole. she gave off a energy that felt familar, she flew closer to me and cawed back (i somehow understood what her cawing meant). she seduced me to follow her.. we flew thru the skies cawing and cawing away..no longer worried about tomorrow, only worried about today. we flew thru this abandoned building and landed atop a old dresser. a white homeless man begin screaming and yelling at us to leave his building. he swatted at us with his cane, but we flew around higher cawing at the man warning him to stop or else he will meet his impending doom! so me and the female raven flew thru the building with this homeless man chasing us and screaming at us at the top of his lungs to leave his shack..when all of a sudden he tripped and landed in a pile of rubble from the house and laid there catching his breath, we were in some old beat up bathroom. there was a shower rod i landed on and begin pecking at it, the man now laying in the rubble near this tub did not know what would await him.. the female raven landed on the bathroom sink and cawed at him he begin to get up from the rubble when all of a sudden i pecked one last time at the shower rod and it fell directly on his head. me and the female raven cawed at the man and flew out of the buiding into the foggy now early morning skies, we both landed at a nearby home and i projected back into my normal self and to my amazement..this beautiful raven projected herself into her normal self. (and boy was she attractive) fair complexion, long black wavy hair, beautiful bedroom eyes, a pocahontas nose, and juicy doll shaped lips. mmm this lovely lady was my type to the fullest! please do not take this the wrong way boo.. but uh.. can i seranade you??? she nodded and we entered (what i believe to be her home) a huge house very nicely decorated with antique statues of birds, such as..hawks, crows, ravens, owls, robins, bluejays, sparrows, ect ect. she then set down on a couch and asked me what my beliefs were, i told her i am very spiritual and believe no matter what religion you believe in, we are all worshipping the same God. she got up from the couch and gave me a hug filled with so much love and peace that it become so intense that i started to feel myself being jolted back into my original body! awwww....why did it have to end there!
4. Into the Cave of Another Dreamer

by , 02-16-2012 at 05:57 AM (Second Reality Experiences)
I am with two people in a movie production. We are the actors. I don't know what the plot is but I know it has something to do with video games (I think I was supposed to be Donkey Kong). We're in an abandoned place that looks a lot like a hospital. I open the door to a hallway and there is what looks like a Silent Hill mannequin nurse at the end.

"Silent Hill!" The actor next to me yells, "That's not original at all!"

We run away from it pretending to be scared for the cameras. Out of the corner of my eye I spot the beautiful Mena Suvari working behind the scenes. We head down some steps towards what appears to be a cave. At this point I realize I am in a dream.

This guy comes out of nowhere and introduces himself and tells us that this cave is his place. He is taller than I am, and has medium length black hair. He seems really nice, and I feel like I know who he is, and that he is another dreamer.

"I want to show you something," he tells me, leading me further inside.

We come to a piece of art painted on the cave floor. It's an animal, comprised of different animal parts. Mostly bird but part lion, similar to a griffin except not quite the same.

"Do you change into this form in your lucid dreams?" I ask him

He nods yes, "Look at this other one I've been working on. I'm trying to perfect it's abilities."

We walk to the right and look at a second painting on the ground. This one is of a raven with huge outstretched wings and flowing feathers. In the image the bird is actually breathing frost like an ice dragon. It looks awesome.

He walks away for a moment and one of the other DCs I was with earlier comes up to me.

"Your friend has a present for you."

He hands me what looks like a candy bar. I pull open the wrapper and see that it's actually some kind of jerky meat. I start chewing on it. It tastes funny, I don't think my mind was quite settled on what it wanted it to be like. But it does the job. It helps me to stay grounded in the dream. I realize he gave me the present to do just that - keep me in the lucid dream. It makes me smile. I run up to him and give him a big hug.

"Thank you," I say.

He grins, "No problem."

At that moment I think about my body lying asleep in bed. Everything starts fading out. Crap! I'm not supposed to think about that! But it's too late. The dream dissipates and I wake up.

During this dream I was told the name of the guy who was helping me a few times. I can't for the life of me remember what it was. All I remember was that it sounded like a screen name. Like he came from the forums. And I felt like I knew him well. When I woke up however, I realized that I in fact have never met him before in waking life. I do not know who that was. It's a weird deja vu kind of feeling.

5. Walking on the Moon and an Interesting conversation

by , 01-12-2012 at 01:59 AM (Burke's Nightly Escapades)
I was sitting in my living room watching some T.V. with a girl who I seemed to be rather intimate with. We were sitting next to each other "cuddling" while watching something on T.V. After a couple minutes we headed up stairs for some reason and went into my room. Once inside we stood at the foot of my bed talking with each other. "So... do you want to?" I asked hesitantly. I could tell I was blushing a little bit. She just smiled at me and slightly nodded her head.

At this point things started to get a little fishy. I walked into the other room for a second and thought to myself, "Wait a minute, that's my ex-girlfriend! We broke up last year!" It was true, I was with my ex with whom I was no longer with. I did a checked my hands real quick and my right hand had 6 fingers while my left hand was missing a pinky.
My suspicions were correct, I was dreaming! Just to be safe I preformed a nose plug RC and it worked! I could breathe through me nose.

Immediately the TotY popped into my head but I couldn't think of which one to do. I summoned a dart board with 8 spots for each task that wasn't done. I grabbed a dart from the dresser next to me, closed my eyes and threw it. It had landed on the '60s. Awesome, to the moon! Knowing that I had to beat Neil Armstrong down the ladder I couldn't just teleport to the moon, I had to go up with the space ship and everything. I snapped my fingers while picturing the rocket about to take off in Florida.

In the blink of an eye I was standing in front of a massive space shuttle. It was even bigger in person! I started to walk over towards it when I heard "T-minus 10, 9..." I knew it was about to take off so I ran as fast as I could towards it. Right as I was about to get on the platform the rockets ignited and massive billow of smoke and fire came over me. It felt just like the last TotY dream. I immediately jumped up as high as I could and was out of the fire. I looked down at the space shuttle and aimed right for the window. I dove down feet first this time and crashed right through it into a small holding tank type room. There were 4 other people in the room with me. Neil, Buzz (Aldrin), the third guy nobody really cared about, and then there was one more. The pilot from my last lucid.

WTF! I thought I had gotten rid of him! "Long time no see, eh Burke?" He said, sarcastic as always. "Well look who it is. I thought you left after the hindenburg dream." I said back, equally as sarcastic. "Now now, this is no place for fighting. We have a job to do." He sounded just like he did last time. "What do you mean we?" I asked. "Hey, we're one in the same, remember? Now be quiet, the shuttle's about to take off and we have to let these three do their jobs." "Hold on--" But before I could finish my sentence the shuttle lifted off from the ground with immense force, pushing me down to the floor (which was really the wall).

I couldn't really breathe nor talk due to the force from the take off, but after about 10 seconds we were floating in space. "Wow, that was fast," I said. Normally these things took several minutes just to leave the atmosphere. "We'll be there in only a few minutes," The person whom I assume is Neil said. "Now, in order to see who goes first, I say we draw from a hat." "No, no, no, you'll cheat! You always cheat!" Buzz said. "I vote the new guy holds a number behind his back and we guess it." "Doesn't matter to me," I replied. "That sounds good," The third guy chimed in. This whole time the pilot from my last lucid just sat there, silently, staring out the window.

"Alright, I'm thinking of a number between 1 and infinity. Neil, you go first." I said. "Umm, zero." He said. "You dumbass, zero isn't between 1 and infinity." Buzz chimed in. "It's my choice and I'll make it however I want." He replied. "Guys calm down, just pick a different number," the third guy said. "Oh, a wise guy, eh?" Neil said. At this point it escalated into a 3 stooges type fight where they kept smacking each other on the back of the head and poking each other's eyes. "Hey guys," the pilot said a little nervously. "Not now, we're in the middle of some--" Neil said, interrupted by a smack from Buzz. "Seriously, you might want to stop." He persisted, but they paid no attention to him. I looked out the window and noticed that the moon was coming up fast. Really fast.

There were bits and pieces of arguement flying all over the place until finally a huge force knocked us all up against the ceiling. "What the hell was that!?" Neil demanded. "I warned you guys," the pilot said. I looked out the window and noticed we were on the surface of the moon, the shuttle still in one piece. "Me first!" "No, me!" "I called it, move out of my way!" They kept bickering even after crashed. "Hey! Idiots!" The piloted shouted. "You're not going anywhere unless you put your space suits on." After hearing this they all ran as fast as they could to the corner where the suits were kept. However, there were only two. One person was meant to stay back and moniter everything. They started fighting again, arguing over who should go out.

Getting rather annoyed by this I snapped my fingers and summoned another space suit so they could all go out at once. The pilot then looked at me as if he was expecting something. I had no clue what he was thinking and just stared at him while the other were putting their suits on. *Snap!* "Oh! The TotY! Thanks man, you're the best!" I said. I had to beat Neil down, why would I help them out? I walked over to the door, opened it up and jumped right out. The others, who had just finished putting their space suits on, saw me get out and all sprinted towards the door to be the 2nd man out. If they weren't first, they sure as hell weren't going to be last.

Once I stepped out I looked over my shoulder and saw the earth rotating slowly, just like in the pictures. The three astronauts got out and, once they finally shut up, looked up and around in amazement. "Wow... it's... beautiful..." One of them said. "Yep, quite the sight, isn't it?" I replied. "Hey buddy, how come you don't have a suit on, yet you're just fine out here?" One oft hem asked me. "Oh, umm. Well, you see..." I stuttered, trying not to tell them I was a dreamer for some reason. "Wait I know why. It's 'cause you're one of those alien thing-a-ma-jigs I've heard about!"

Wait, what? He thought I was an alien? The pilot at this point burst out laughing, obviously humoured by the comment. "What's so funny?" I looked over at him. "Hey now, don't be asking obvious questions!" I was a little irritated, but knew to keep my cool around him after flipping out for a tiny little insult before. "Yeah yeah, I know... Say, isn't this where that one guy from the forum had a base or something?" "Oh, you mean Nomad and Raven, yeah, but I don't think it's open right now." He replied. "What do you mean by 'not open'?" "Don't worry about it. Now, shouldn't you try another TotY?"

"I guess... but where are you getting at by saying 'don't worry about it'?" I asked. "Seriously, I said don't worry about it, yet here you are, worrying." He sounded a little annoyed, oh jeez . "Alright alright, I'm sorry." I tried convincing him. "No you aren't, don't try and lie to me." "I wasn't lying--" "Yes," he interrupted, "you are. Do you not learn anything? What did I say last time?" I thought for a second, "Umm... as I recall you said 'it's time you learn your place' and then proceeded to kill me." It was true, he did say that. "No you dumbass, about you, and me? Us?" "Umm... that we share the same-" then it hit me. We both share the same mind. He knew what I knew and what I meant.

"Exactly. God, sometimes I swear I have to beat the sense into you!" He disappeared. Next thing I knew
I woke up. Damnet, he woke me up again. He didn't even give me a chance

Oh well, it's all in my head, right? *Braces for him to pop up out of nowhere and hit me* At least I got one of the tasks done.
6. why is a raven like a space station?

by , 01-01-2012 at 04:08 PM
Good morning, everybody.

I don't think I've ever made an out and out joke (albeit corny) in a dream before this dream.

This dream is another instance of so-so dream control. I was watching the video below yesterday afternoon. I thought it might be fun to dream myself onto the International Space Station.

But I got afraid of messing up the machinery if I actually projected myself up there. So I told myself not to try, after all. Anyway, the dream I had is a result of that thought process.

Dream #1

It was a sunny day. I was flying over the roofs of some really nice, 19th century-style mansions. I was apparently searching for a book I'd lost. It may have been some sort of classic book. But I think it was actually a porn novel or porn magazine.

I think a bird had stolen this book. I may have seen evidence that the bird was on the roof of a house just in front of me. I may have seen something like a little nest on one of the peaks of the roof. I may have felt like the book was now a part of that nest.

But I was now floating in between two mansions. The mansions both had complex roofs, with a lot of different angles of sloping. My oldest nephew straddled the roof of one of the mansions. My mom sat on the roof of the other mansion.

I may have been here now in order to get some books for my nephew. My mom had a couple of books on her roof. I think I was going to bring those over for my nephew. But there was still one book missing.

But now a cartoon bird landed at the edge of the roof of my mom's mansion. The cartoon bird was black, so I thought it was a raven. But it actually looked like the Warner Bros chicken hawk character, Henery Hawk.

The "raven" had the missing book on top of its head, for some reason. The book was real, even though the raven was a cartoon.

I thought, Whoa! Now's my chance!

Still floating in between the two mansions, I turned to my nephew. I said, "Hey! Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

My nephew said, "What?"

I bobbed back around to the raven and said, "Why is a raven like a writing desk? Because it has a book on its top!"

My nephew said, "Oh. I guess."

The raven now, for some reason, did something like faint. It slid down the right slope of the roof, taking the book down with it. I floated over to the peak of the roof and sat there, looking down at the bird.

I was a little sore that my nephew either didn't get my joke or thought it was corny. I was trying to blame him for the fact that he thought my joke was corny.

I could see the book laying at the bottom of the roof's slope, as if it were about to slip off the roof's edge. I guess the raven had already slipped off the roof's edge.

I thought about getting the book, before it slipped, too. But I really didn't want to do my nephew any favors, after he hadn't liked my joke. But I could see the other books, near my mom. And I figured I'd get those ones for him.

My nephew asked me to get the other book. He couldn't see it, and he didn't know whether it had fallen or not.

But I told my nephew I couldn't get the book. I said, "It's in too hard a place to reach. I'm an old man, now. I can't reach into all kinds of places like I used to."

I now really was an old man. I was a tall, white man, with a big belly. I was bald, with dirtyish grey hair on the sides of my head. I probably wore a nice button-up shirt and blue jeans.

I was walking with two extremely hot women, probably in their mid- to late-twenties. They were like models. But they were astronauts. They were dressed in these extremely sexy, silvery jumpsuits which, I guess, were their space suits.

We walked through an automatic, sliding-steel door on a vanilla-yellow wall. We walked into some area that looked like a cafeteria. But not far above my head were all kinds of staircases, as if there were a maze of balconies above this eating area. At the other end of this room was a huge window wall, revealing a gigantic swimming pool area.

I knew that one of these women was my daughter-in-law. The other woman was a partner on the flight that my daughter-in-law was about to take.

I was here to see my daughter-in-law off on her space flight. My daughter-in-law and her friend were dropping me off here to relax and wait in the preparation time before launch. I knew that this cafeteria was part of some fitness area, and that the girls were probably going to do a little exercise before their flight.

We walked toward some sort of booth table, talking and joking. My daughter-in-law, even though she was incredibly sexy, had a kind of low self-esteem. I tried to make her feel better about herself. So as we sat into the booth, I made some kind of sly comment implying how cute she was.

This made both of the girls giggle giddily. I had a bad feeling that both of the girls were now sexually attracted to me. I thought I should back off a bit. I didn't want my daughter-in-law to be attracted to me. But, I thought, it wouldn't be so bad if her friend decided she liked me.

The girls had to leave me now. They may already have been gone. But I at least heard my daughter-in-law telling me, in my head, "You know, they have the ----- (press conference?) going on right before the flight. Everybody's welcome to come to that thing. And we'll be there, too. You should come, so we can see you one last time."

For some reason I didn't think that was a good idea. I told the girls I'd probably just take a walk around before the launch, instead.

I was now myself again. I was sitting on the ground or on a concrete floor -- somewhere. A tall, heavy, white man with feathery, black and grey hair, stood by a blackboard at a wall. The wall looked like it was part of some warehouse or unfinished building. There were thin, metal beams running from the floor to some kind of half-ceiling.

The man was explaining something to me about Judaism. He was making calculations regarding verses in the Torah. He was trying to show that the appropriate method of studying was one passage of the Torah per week. He said that this was all a person could really handle, while keeping a balance on his spirituality.

I saw a number of -- what I would describe as traffic poles -- like the yellow-painted concrete poles with convex tops. But these poles were comprised of crystal cogs, all stacked up on top of each other.

The cogs were all different colors. But they were piled up so that cogs of the same color were near each other. One pole, for instance, started with orange at the bottom, worked its way up to a pinkish-red, then into a green, then blue.

I told the man, "It doesn't make sense to me that people should only study one passage a week. It seems to me like a person could actually study a passage a day and be fine."

The man was a little shocked that I'd said something like that. I felt like I had kind of insulted either his ideas of religion or his ideas of spiritual balance. I think I felt like I needed him for a teacher. So I had to find a way to apologize to him for having made a comment apparently against one of his major theories.

We were both standing outside now. The man was up on a sidewalk. I stood on something like asphalt -- maybe in a parking lot? The man was taller than me by his own height and the height of the curb. And we were separated by some kind of railing.

I decided that the best way to apologize to the man was by showing my knowledge of other religions and concluding with the idea that, compared to his religion, all the other religions I knew about were lacking.

I had a whole bunch of papers in my hands. It was like I was going to flip through some kind of PowerPoint presentation on the faults of all the other religions I knew about.

There were some slides regarding some religions on the top of my stack of papers. But I wanted to save those religions for later. I shuffled those to the back of the deck. Now the top slide was about some religion that was somehow based in the teachings of Edgar Cayce. I figured that would be a good place to start.

I gave the man some explanation about the tenets of this religion (I wish I could remember them now!). I was going to move on to how I thought they were silly, compared to the tenets of his religion.

But the man interrupted me -- as if he thought I were trying to convince him that this religion was really good. He took the same tack with me, now, that I was trying to take with him. He became really interested in what I had to say about this religion. He wanted to know more.

I felt a little defeated. I was trying to learn more about the man's religion. But now he wanted me to teach him about mine!

I stood up onto the curb. The man and I turned to my left and walked down the sidewalk, down a slight slope, to a complex of buildings like a university campus. There seemed to be a decent amount of people walking around down there.

I was explaining something to the man. But now I was in some kind of limbo space, floating around and discussing things in my head. I was now apparently talking to someone, kind of like the Apollo 11 Command Module Pilot Michael Collins.

Collins didn't believe in something about psychic phenomena. But I was trying to convince him that psychic phenomena did exist.

Collins and I were now driving in a car at night. I had gotten onto the topic of psychokinesis. I was trying to make some point about how it was already being used in outer space, and that it wasn't causing any harm.

To illustrate this, I had a chart in my mind. It was a white background, with an x-arrow and a y-arrow. Both arrows were really bold. The plane made by the coordinates was of either twelve or sixteen rectangles. The rectangles were stood vertically. The grid was four rectangles wide, and either three or four rectangles long.

In this grid, I drew something like a jagged line bouncing down through the rectangles. This was made to show the minimal damaging effect that psychokinetic powers had in space.

Somehow, Collins and I faded into some place like a residence area for astronauts who were about to head up into space. We were both inside a room with thin-panelled walls, like the fake wood-panel walls inside a double-wide trailer. The entire floor of the room was covered with mattresses, except the left side of the room, which had a set of bunk beds.

In the center of the room was some very space-stationy-looking computer area. A pole hung from the ceiling. Suspended from the pole were a big computer system and a seat at which someone sat while using the computers.

Collins was sitting at the computer station. I was laying on my back, on a mattress, looking up at the back of one of the screens of the system.

I was shocked to see that the logo of the computer's manufacturer was a circle with a stylized, interlocking P and K. I thought, PK! That's psychokinesis! Is this whole computer part of some psychokinesis project?

Apparently, though, I had been continuing my argument, because Collins, at some point, told me that I'd won him over. I don't know whether he actually believed in psychokinesis. But he at least seemed to believe that, if it existed, it wouldn't do any harm.

Somehow, I was now asleep, my back propped up against the back wall of the room. But now another astronaut opened the door of the room.

Even though my eyes were closed, and I was sleeping, I could see the woman. She was blonde, a little frumpy-looking, with frizzy-curly, long, blonde hair. She was maybe in her late forties. She wore a red sweater and red-plastic-rimmed eyeglasses.

The woman poked her head in through the doorway and asked Collins, "Do you know anything about debt for the companies ----- (can't remember, ----- (Provate?), and Fluxcil, that you might be able to help me with them?"

These were biotech companies. Collins said, "No. I don't know."

But the woman wasn't really asking Collins so Collins could help her. She was hinting to him that they should test me out, on my knowledge. But Collins didn't get the hint. So the woman had to make it a little stronger.

But the mention of the biotech names got me kind of interested (why? I don't know anything about biotech), and I was already waking up, lifting my dark, heavy eyelids, as the woman said, "Well... do you know anybody who might know about that debt? Like... another astronaut you work with?"

Collins might have said something like, "Oh. Yeah."

But I was already too interested in what the woman was talking about to wait. I stood up -- still incredibly groggy! -- and said, "Oh? Debt? I think I can get you some information." I knew I didn't know anything about biotech. But I was already making a plan in my head for how I'd do the research.

I walked over all the mattresses, toward the doorway. The woman may have said something to me, then asked me, "Do you think fifteen minutes will be enough time for you?"

I said, "Yeah. I can get you something in fifteen minutes."

I thought I'd have to use my own computer. But I wondered if my wireless would work all the way from up here on the space station. I thought that the satellite system would be all messed up.

Then I realized we weren't on the space station yet. It was still the night before we even launched up into space. I thought, of course my computer will work.

Collins had gotten up from the computer station. He was walking out of the room, to go down the hallway for some kind of meeting with the woman. I walked back toward the back of the room, to pull my computer out of my suitcase (???).

But I'd forgotten the names of the three companies. I turned around and caught the woman before she walked away. I said, "So the companies are... Probate... ?"

The woman said, "-----, ----- (Provate?), and Fluxcil. You know Fluxcil. They make -----."

I felt a little insulted by that. I didn't want the woman to think I was stupid. Of course I knew that Fluxcil made -----. But I was just having trouble keeping the companies' names in my head. My brain was still so groggy!

The woman left and I walked back toward the back of the room. My suitcase was huge -- maybe waist-high, and as wide as two of me. I knew my computer was in a pocket at the back end of the suitcase.

As I walked toward the suitcase I was already trying to figure out how to get my information. I knew that I'd start by pulling the most recent financial filings for each company.

I started wondering if fifteen minutes was enough time. These filings were for biotech companies. They might be huge.

But I thought that there were two other things I should do if I had enough time left in my fifteen minutes. One thing was to do a debt schedule. But I thought I would probably have to ask the woman if she wanted that before I actually did it.

I also thought that, to get the most recent debt issuances of the companies, I'd probably also have to go through the most recent press releases for each company.

I am FIRECAT, a flaming lion-man, with astral tentacles swirling about my chakras. I am standing on The Temple of Nothing, In the City of Nowhere, in the Land of Nod, on the Green Moon.

I am ensrouded in sacred energy. I look over the city. Everything is beautiful and amazing. I see hundreds of dreamers pouring into the city through portals.

Atras rides up to me on an indigo wolf.

He looks at me and smiles. He dismounts and stands next to me. He asks me if everything he sees is real. I roar, and make the dream ripple. He laughs and asks where Raven is. She turns a corner. She is holding a cute little cat. It's Shadow. Shadow jumps into my arms. I pet her, then she jumps down, and makes figure eights around Raven's ankles.

Raven smiles at Atras, do you want to have an adventure with us?

Atras says YES! then he disappears.

Raven shrugs as she makes a portal, and we jump in.

8. Montulu in Nowhere

by , 07-19-2011 at 06:26 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
MONTULU, THE GREAT DESTROYER OF NOTHING!

I am Montulu, the Great Destroyer of Nothing. I am a giant monster inside my Temple of Nothing on the Green Moon. I grow a beacon out of my head, a beautiful green and gold light. “I AM THE GREAT MONTULU, DESTROYER OF NOTHING. I SUMMON THEE!”
I shoot a dark energy beam to earth to draw dreamers to me.
I see many. I morph into Juargawn, my cat beast self, and am a little angelic and demonic. Atras waves his arms and runs to me. “Hey man. I think I did it? Did I? Is this real? Is this a dream?”
“What do you think?”
“Well everything looks real,” he says doing a nose pinch RC.
“No... wait- I am dreaming. What are you doing in my dream? Is this a shared dream? Is this your dream? Are we in Mexico? Are you an alien? Why do all the people look like animals and aliens and superheroes? Why does that guy look like a talking plant? I am so confused! What is going on? This is amazing! Am a dreaming?” he says looking at his hands. He skin begins to change to a sky blue. “Oh my god!” he disappears.
Windhover appears standing next to me. We are leaning on staffs looking out at all the people. She is wearing a thick white robe with light green on the inside. She has a white wooden staff with leaves growing out of it. She seems tall and very ancient, like an elf queen that has lived for thousands of years, and has very slow emotional changes.
“How long do you think it will take, until we realize we are always dreaming, Nomad?”
“Lifetimes, probably, but at that point, we’ll finally have evolved into full awareness of the fourth and fifth dimensions, and we can exist in all five simultaneously in complete harmony.”
“Hm.. that makes sense.”
She suddenly morphs into a tall woman that looks half Asian and half white wearing a business suit. She sits down at a desk and starts drawing. I create some holograms which dance across the desk. “What is that?” I ask.
“Oh, it’s my visual DJ. I keep this in my dreams to help me remember things I want to draw.”
“What’s this?” she asks, referring to the holograms.
“That’s me, that’s MoSh, that’s Raven, that’s you, that’s Xaphor.... look...”
She looks at the holograms and claps her hands.
“How silly and amusing!”
“Oh, pardon me, I said that in Korean, and yet... I perceive you understood me?”
“Yes.”
“Really?”
“That is how things work in dreams. I am allied with an entity that translates all languages. I take the Babelfish from my ear, and it morphs into a fairy. She divides herself in two, one green, and one red. The red one flies to Windhover, and flies around her head.
“Hello, Fairy! I am waking up. Bye Nomad!”
I bow to her as she fades.
Raven flies down on a broom. “Hey Nomad? What are you doing? I was at Hogwarts. My students, some of them have greatly accelerated and are teaching me things. They have learned how to dimensional travel.”
“That is amazing.”
“Oh, I went to Denn, kicked some orc ass, then I told them, hey, be cool, why don’t we have some brownies and red wine with the humans and such. I infected them with a love virus. It was awesome.”
We high five and laugh.
“So is this shared dream project thing... oh, look at all the dreamers!”
There are many people below running around like ants. Some are building things, some are battling.
“Hey, you!” I shout. “All of you!” They look up at me. “You are all dreaming!”
Most of them do RC’s, and a lot of them wake up. A few of them run up the pyramid. I see Loaf standing in the corner looking up at the sky in silence.
Atras runs up the pyramid, and speaks to me out of breath.
“Oh my God, Nomad, I did the go back to bed thing. I re-entered. Did I remember the dream though?”
“I don’t know. Did you write it down?”
“No? I don’t know.” Atras smacks his head.
‘Why don’t you relax and enjoy the dream?”
Atras sits down and looks at the dreamscape. Flying cars and flying saucers flit about over the jungle canopy as the sun sets on the City of Nowhere.
“It is pretty amazing,” Atras says.
I smile and walk to Loaf. “I like this world. The other wold sucks. It’s a piece of shit.”
“I know how you feel,” I say.
Raven stands next to us, and we silently share healing energy as the sun goes down, and the earth rises.
9. The Great Montulu

by , 07-19-2011 at 03:21 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
I am a giant monster disguised as a mountain outside the forest of Denn. I have great tentacles which grow underground like roots. I stick the tips up out of the earth, and make orcs appear. The orcs muck about, and begin chopping trees, hunting rabbit, and digging for roots, mushrooms, and grubs. Some elves ride up on horses and they battle.
My DC’s are awesome. I make the elves and orcs vanish. I make them appear again. Oh, my this is fun. I feel like a godly Jabba the Hut for some reason. I clap my tentacles together, and toss a frog in my mouth. Tastes like chicken. Gross! I hate chicken. I spit the frog out, and turn it into brocolli. Much better.
“I am the great Montulu!” I rumble. “I am the great Dark Underbelly Creature Monster Death Thing of the Land of Aud. I am all nightmares and all fairy tales. Oh shit! Someones in the Tavern.”
I teleport my consciousness down a tentacle, and into the tavern. Okay... Now it’s name is “Crunchy Peanut Bottom?” It has a picture of a peanut shaped like an ass, with a dude giving the thumbs up sign. WTF? Whatever. I morph into the bartender, and nonchalantly whistle as I wipe the counter down. Hmm... that beer looks good. I pour myself a beer, and drink it. Omigod. It tastes perfect. I forget why I am there. I hear a fist slam on the counter behind me. “Service!” a female voice demands. I am startled and spit out my beer. I see the other Raven, the White Ninja Raven smirking at me amusedly. She chuckles and grabs my beer.
“Which one of you schmucks is worthy enough to fight by my side in battle? I challenge you to a a duel!” She downs the beer, and passes out. I catch her. An assassin shoots her in the chest. She wakes up and pulls the arrow out. “Hey! Who just shot me? I am going to kick your little punk ass, bitch!” She teleports outside, and I grab on to her cape. We are floating in the air, and there is a monkey ninja pirate throwing red barrel of monkey toys at us. Except the toys are bladed. Some of the blades slice us up for a second. Ninja Raven teleports behind the monkey, and slices him in the back of the head, all the way down to his tail, about an inch deep. The monkey screams in anger and teleports away. I morph into a wraith samurai enwreathed in violet flame. “Who the fuck are you?” Raven says.
“Silent Death. I am the Owl King.”
I bilocate, and send one of my bodies above the battle. I attack the monkey from the front and back. It screeches, and I rip the fabric of time and space, and shove the little bastard in. The Cusp appears out of a portal with an armful of flying pirate monkey ninjas. Each monkey becomes a flock. I summon swarms of tiny orcs riding on beetles to counterattack. “What the hell? A friend of yours?” says Ninja Raven. The Cusp waves, and leaps back into the portal. All the monkeys fall to the ground and dissipate.
“Haha! I didn’t even need to summon these orcs,” I say, summoning an army of orcs. Ninja Raven instantly multiplies herself and kills them all.
10. I, Alien

by , 07-08-2011 at 06:57 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
Aliens

I am an alien contactee. I have been in contact with two different alien species that I know of. I got into lucid dreaming because I got into astral projection and remote viewing. The reason I did this was because I felt something was missing from my mind. Around 1995, I became obsessed with astral projection and the paranormal. I listened to Coast to Coast all the time, and read every book on the paranormal in my local library. I was reading a book by Whitley Streiber when all of a sudden I had a massive flashback. I started writing everything down before I could forget.
I wrote for about 45 minutes. I had written twenty pages. In it, I detailed an experience of being hypnotized as a child by people in black and being introduced to an extraterrestrial as an experiment.
As you can imagine, I agonized for years wondering if this was true. Through dreaming, I realized it was.
I also recovered another painful memory which happened two years later. I was molested.

As I have wandered in my oneironautical journeys, and have discovered the nature of reality and illusion, I began to wonder if that molestation memory was actually a memory of ET contact. Through dreaming, I now see the truth.

This is my dream:

I float up out of bed. I am surrounded by alien Greys. I sense they are some kind of soulless organic robots, controlled by a distant mind. Their creepy eyes feel hollow because there is nothing there. I blast them with 360 flamethrowers. Their puppetmaster launches a web around me. I fly up to him to punch him, but to no avail. I unsheath my hip dagger, and plunge it into his stomach, screaming like a banshee to keep the wound open. I turn my entire body into a blade, and launch into the wound. I come out the other side, but there is still a net around me. I expand, but every time I break one, there is another one waiting for me. Though they seem to be thinning, they are no weaker. I feel as if they are made of astral cords. I begin to feel claustraphobic. I call to Raven. “Raven!”

She opens a portal to me, riding through on a broom laughing with two bats swirling around her. She analyzes the situation without a word, then she goes supernova and destroys the whole bullshit dream. We are in some kind of chaos plane for an instant where everything is not whole. We tumble out of a portal into the healing glen in New Eden. We cough up dark energy, and the glen sends up healing energy all over and through us. We lie on our backs for awhile in silence looking up at the sky. I begin to fall asleep. My astral body rises out of my dream body. I see Raven is asleep, but her astral body is moving around. “Raven, Raven wake up.”
Her astral body gets up, and looks at me sleepily. “Good morning Nomad... Coffee... bathroom... Oh, hey, we’re in the Biodome!”
“Right.”
“Oh, weird. Did I fall asleep here?”
“I think so. Our dream bodies were worn out from that Drow attack. Those fuckin Insect Grey motherfuckers.”
“Hmm?”
I pace. “This is perfect. See? We are in our astral bodies right now, I mean, this is where our conscious minds are: in our astral bodies on the dream plane. I want to go into the astral plane... Into the past, seven years after I was born...” I sense Raven’s confusion at my frenetic energy. I turn and look into her eyes, locking eye contact. Her eyes become two swirling galaxies, as do mine. The galaxies collide in a reflection of each other... and we communicate telepathically, in images.
Raven, I think I am a fucking alien.
Okay.
That sounds crazy.
No it doesn’t. I am an alien, too.
I am a physical alien.
What’s the difference?
I don’t know.
Look, I was molested as a kid, but I think that memory is false.
It could be an unconscious desire to make it “unhappen.”
Look into my mind, Raven.
I allow her to see in past the illusion of the molestation to alien contact.
Her eyes grow large. So you know it’s true, Nomad.
No I don’t.
I just saw it.
I know, but I want to see it, on the astral plane. I want to be in that physical place. I want to see it from third person perspective.
Are you sure you don’t want to be hypnotized?
Ha ha, Raven. This is way more accurate. We both know this.

Raven smiles at me. “Help me create this portal. I will focus on its astral aspect, and you focus on the time and place...”
“Okay... Washington State, USA, Tacoma suburbs, 1982...”
The portal looks more like a wormhole with just a very transparent thin pane for the portal. The wormhole is silvery. I looks like psychedelic guts of a giant creature. Maybe it’s the guts of the universe? We step in, and are being pulled by some tiny fish like sting rays. We tumble into the sky, and catch ourselves. We are floating above a forest. I see my young self walk out of a house, and grab my friend’s bike. I am fearlessly going to ride in the woods alone.
I teleport behind my boy self from the past, and stick an astral tentacle on to him so I will not lose track. Raven watches from above.
I see there are about fifty Greys watching from the woods. They are practically invisible, using some type of cloaking device which bends light in a strange way. There are two different sizes. I notice there are two short ones with every tall one. The short ones generally stand on the sides of the tall ones. I see three of them materialize. I get some kind of sense that the tall one is a female, and the two short ones are male.
The tall one freezes my boy self’s body. One of the small ones levitates me off the bike, and the other one TK’s it away, and it slides through the leaves. My boy self’s face is frozen in sheer terror. The aliens do not seem aware of my boy self’s emotions.
“They are terrifying you, assholes!” Raven says.
“I am not upset anymore, Raven. Let’s just watch.”
They levitate me to a few inches off the ground, but maintain TK grip, and approach me. The tall one stares into my eyes. I sense some kind of dark faraway intelligence. Her energy feels feminine, yet puppet-like, vacant. She tells me, “We mean you no harm, brother.” She turns to the small ones, and I hear sounds come out of her which sounds something like a cicada or cricket. I know what she is saying. She is arguing with the other ones.
“He forgot the Mission.”
“You cannot call DNA code ‘He.’ Let us not place so much responsibility on our brother, here (after which she said an extremely long string of numbers and letters and symbols which means my exact DNA code specific to me.)”
I suddenly have a flashback, no, I am intercepting telepathic communication. Aliens come into my parent’s bedroom... My mother is sleeping alone. They release some type of sedative blue gas into the air. They use a strange machine that looks like an insect which slides a probe into her navel, and injects some type of human-alien hybrid cells into the amniotic fluid to bind with my developing embryonic body. I realize the when the alien says, “he,” he is not talking about my boy self, but about the alien DNA code.
The female alien casually undresses me as one of the other alien levitates me higher. She looks in all my orifices, then puts my clothes back on. I am terrified. She seems annoyed or confused. “You were one of our best, Captain,” she mumbles.
***
Another flashback. I am an alien Grey fighter pilot. I am in a space battle with Reptilians over an asteroid. There are some kind of sentient native creatures there hurling rocks at us, that look like a cross between trees, fungus and dinosaur... giants. I get wounded, and am going to die.
On an operating room table. They withdraw my vital life essence from my core, and the doctors tell me to focus my consciousness into my remaining physical essence in order to impregnate the DNA with physical memory. My grey shell body expires, and now my consciousness is in my glowing ball of energy which they withdraw from my chest and place in a machine. Then, they take skin from my warm body and place it on 8 pieces of glass. The machine divides my energy into 8 living pieces, and squirts them on to the 8 pieces of glass like gel. The gel energy binds to the skin, which is placed in a glass container which makes the cells grow. The Greys only have one type of cell that does many different things. The growth containers are taken to a lab and watched over before they finally are given to ones that inject them into wombs of pregnant humans.
***
I pee my pants. The female tall alien seems confused. The other ones do not seem to notice. I look down, and I notice I unconsciously pulled my pants down before I urinated, but they are still holding me a few inches off the ground. The aliens become invisible and walk away, then drop me. I run to the bike, and touch it to see if it’s real. I turn to the aliens. I see the eyes of many aliens in the woods.
“Are you real?” I shout at them. They begin to disappear. “Is this a dream? A nightmare?”
They completely disappear.
“You are the devil!” I shout at them, and they vanish. I sit down and cry for a few minutes. Then, I pick up my bike, and walk it back through the woods. I stop crying. I feel the aliens freeze me again, this time from inside their ships.
I can hear their thoughts as they try to brainwash me. “FEAR-LINK, ENGAGE. ILLUSION SCREEN TRAUMA. ENGAGE. FALSE MEMORY LOADED. LOCK MEMORY, COMPLETE. REPROGRAMMING COMPLETE. TRAUMA DIVERGE (a series of numbers).” They use my unconscious mind to create an illusory memory of sexual trauma should I ever try to remember it. And in a sense it was, because it was against my will, but at the same time, it was not for some sick pleasure on their part. It was an examination.
I come out of my boyhood self. I didn’t realize I popped in like that. Raven is standing next to me. She puts her arm around me. “You okay, Nomad?”
“I... I am fine... just overwhelmed.”
She opens a portal to the Mountain in New Eden on the Green Moon. We sit in silence as we watch the sun rise.

11. epic night of epic epicness

by , 07-05-2011 at 07:21 PM (The Nomad Chronicles)
I float up out of my bed, and transform into Ganesh. Six arms grow out of my sides, and my face becomes lion and elephant as I grow a mane. I trumpet and roar. All the demons surrounding my bed bow to me. My fur turns panther black, and my eyes turn red. The demons toss plumeria flowers, the flowers of the dead, to me.
I float outside to the door, where my spaceship, Future’s Hope is waiting for me. My glistening silvery ship. I step in, and the AI is playing some epic rock... Something like Pyramid Song from Radiohead. No, this is the song.
DJ Hope, the AI of my ship asks me where I’d like to go tonight. I sit down in the pilot’s seat, and place large goggles over my face. I feel part of my energy split off... My astral body separates from my dream body, and ....

Astral Plane
My astral body floats through the side of the ship. I become aware of astral demons around me. They look like metal androids with many bladed arms. I mindfuck them, and bend them to my will. Now, you are my bodyguards, boys. Form a phalanx!
The scene changes. There is a house in front of me with reddish purple paint with white trim.
“Someone in here wants a nightmare,” I smile to the demons. They nod. There are angels in the area, looking suspiciously at the demons. I communicate with the head angel telepathically. He scans me to decipher what kind of being I am. “A dreamer? Just what kind of human are you?”
“I am a dreamer, dear, but I am not human.” The angel nods, and lets me pass, giving me a scrutinizing gaze. I just smirk as I morph into a shadowy thing. I crouch at the foot of the bed. “Wake up... wake up... heh hehe...”
For some reason, he is asleep. Ah, he is dreaming, and I am calling him to the astral plane. No matter, this is also a dream. I rumble like distant thunder. The young man stirs and sits up in bed, stretching. I slowly rise. He looks at me, and freezes. His mouth moves silently.
“Speak, boy,” I rumble.
“Who... what... are you?”
“I’m from the Moon! And you are dreaming!”
“No I am not! You are a demon! or a ghost? This is real!”
“No, you are in the astral plane, see.... uh...”
“Nomad?”
“Yes! I mean no!” I roar again, and the young man turns and creates a portal with his third eye. He doesn’t realize he did it. He turns to me, then turns back to the portal. Something like a tentacle or rope comes out of it, and he grabs on.
“This dream sucks! I’m out!” The thing pulls him into the portal and it closes. I walk back outside, and the angel rolls his eyes.
One of the astral demons says, “how’d it go?”
I smack him, and he flies across the yard into a tree.
“Now I am going to the Moon, bitches! Oh wait... I feel more nightmares are wanted. Hmm... First, I need to set up my dream running portals.... Yes, Sarnox will want to come, Jo, and Koomo... guess he’s busy on his home planet.”

I portal to the Moon, and join my dream body.

Dream Plane Dream
Alright, baby, Take me to the MOON!”
“Yes Master.”
“I love it when you say that.”
“Ugh, you have such a big ego.” I feel my ship roll her eyes.

We fly to the Temple of Nothing in the City of Nowhere in the Land of Nod on the Green Moon. She alights on the landing pad. There are two jaguars, a light one and a dark one, portrayed doing battle on the landing pad. Guargawn, my stand-in when I get bored of being a god, greets me, along with Sarnox, my Druid High Priest. “Wassup, god, wassup dog!”
We laugh and catch up on events.
“Well, the life here has gone completely apeshit, growing everywhere... remember that Juan guy with is sentient plants. Well, these creatures worship me now. I am trying to help them evolve to a level where they quit worshiping me. Let me show you my lab.”
We walk into the temple and into a room that Guargawn built. He has different plants in enclosures for study. “Hm, you should meet Washu and Janet.”
“Oh, we have been working together on this project. Who else is going to study dream flora and fauna? You? You bilocate too much, plus you remember only 2 to 5% of your dreams on a good night.”
“Really?”
“Most people it’s less than that. Anyway, we’ll come back to these later. I sense you have a lot on your agenda for tonight.”
“Some dream running, and some rock and roll.”
“Shit! Look at you!” Guargawn reaches into my dream body and pulls out a pink parasite. “Goddammit, Nomad!” he says, squashing it. “How the hell are you Juargawn, Lord of Nothing, when you can’t even control parasites?”
“Well my silver centipedes...”
“Fuck you silver centipedes, nigga! Some woman put a hook in you. Seal the wound. Pay attention! Look!”
I see a strange hole in my dream body which I cauterize with violet flame.
“Yeah, and I got sick in Wakeworld from those damn bugs.”
“And it’s not the first time.”
“You are right, brother.”
“Keep your shields up. We are being attacked on all fronts by all manner of creatures. You think sentient creatures are the only threat? Yet microscopic mindless creatures slaughter us relentlessly.”
I nod. I walk slowly out to the landing pad. I am amazed at the view. I sit down, and meditate. I realize that I am now a rakshasa, a lion-man. I form a golden aura around me, and seal it with blue light. I create colored orbs to move through my dream body, and cleanse myself. I sense Raven needs my help in the Healing Glen. I portal to her.
She is just waking up in the Glen. We are suddenly under attack by silvery flying disks. They are shooting orange lasers at us. One hits me, and burns a hole in my side. I ignore it, and heal the wound. The Frost Giant appears, and forms an energy shield dome over us. He hits an unseen button on an unseen belt, and armor comes out of nowhere and attaches to him.
“I thought this was sacred ground!”
“It is,” says the Frost Giant. “But, they don’t give a shit.”
Raven stand up, and changes.... She becomes taller, and her face changes shape, elongating to look like an elf or a female Grey. She is wearing a long black dress, and has two white horns spiraling to the sky. She grows to the size of a skyscraper. “I am Raven White, Queen of the Moon, and you have profaned this Hallowed Ground. I channel power you know not of!”
Raven begins to glow brighter and brighter, and I feel something like a tiny sun in the core of her being. The alien ships swarm around her. She laughs and bats them away. She roars, and pure white light beams shoot out of her body, vaporizing all the ships around her. The Frost Giant is running across the landscape, grabbing ships out of the sky, and smashing them in his palms. Joseph has multiplied himself into an army of giant eagles. He smashes the ships in his talons, and rips the aliens from their ships. They look like... children?
“Gah!”
For a second, even the Frost Giant is deceived.
“All illusion! Illusion of Nevergawn!”
I smack my head, trying to get my True Sight Ocular Implants to work... Just had to turn them on. I whip out my didjeridoo, and send out a frequency to destroy the transmission of the child holograms from their hologram projectors. I see they are not aliens, but Moon Orcs riding around on strange dog-pterodactyl creatures. Suddenly we are in the Danger Room.
“Guardians: ONE! Moon Orcs: ZERO!”
Raven takes off a VR helmet along with MoSh, Joseph, and I.
“MoSh, you were the Frost Giant?”
“You asked me to, don’t you remember, Nomad?” he smiles at me flirtatiously. I feel uncomfortable for the first time in this dream. “Hey, let’s have a drink.’
“Okay...”
We walk into a casino, the three of us. Raven surveys the scene casually. We sit at the bar, and are served strange drinks with things moving in them. “He doesn’t remember,” Raven says.
“We are all lovers, or were, at one time,” MoSh smiles at me.
“Uh... I feel weird.”
“Just drink.”
I drink, and memories come flooding back to me, but these are not my memories, these are the memories of a different Nomad, from a different universe.
“Okay... so, I and Raven are together, and you and Raven are together, but you and I used to be together?”
“Yes,” says MoSh.
“Oh, gross!”
He rolls his eyes. “Parallel universe, hello?”
“Right. But, what happened to the other Nomad?”
“He’s dead,” Raven White says flatly.
“So, you can keep dreaming with him, right?”
She looks at me and laughs. “This is no dream, baby. You’re in Wakeworld.”
“HOLY SHIT!”
I am so shocked by this, I wake up. I am in my bedchambers in my temple on the Moon. I am sleeping with three women in my bed. I float up so as not to disturb them, and stretch. I walk out to the landing pad. Selene joins me. I feel her caress on my arm.
“Baby, is this real?”
“This is real, this is dream. We are on the dream plane.”
“Are we in a simulation?”
“No.”
“Good.”
I turn to her, and look into her eyes, her beautiful dark dark eyes, dark as night. I realize she is an alien, and so am I.... We all are, and I am okay with that. We kiss. I feel like we haven’t kissed for years. Maybe it has been years on the Dream Plane?
“Selene, I want to know what happened when you were kidnaped.”
“I wanted to see what would happen if I let them kidnap me.”
“Why did you do that?”
“I was curious to the depths of their evil?”
“What happened?”
“They tried to rape me.”
“What did you do?”
“I dream-killed them.”
“Good. Why didn’t you tell me you were going to do this?”
“You wouldn’t have let me go.”
“True.”
I walk around in a circle on all fours, and fall asleep, with Selene leaning on me.

***

I am back in the Fucking Concrete Underground Future, and my life is Hell. I am on the astral plane, and I am in the room where my Physical Body, my Real Body is. I see my lion-goat-centaur body twitch in the fluid in the cylinder. An alarm goes off.
“Shit he’s waking up! FUCK FUCK FUCK! Send him some sedatives! Slowly...”
I hear a scientist say. Maybe I should not be here. If I wake up here... I am dead in the past. I begin to float out of the room, when I am jerked into my Real Body. I feel like I am going to suffocate. What the hell is going on? I can breathe! I am blind. I see colored lights in front of my eyes. FUCK THIS MASK. Who is trying to brainwash me? I rip the mask off, and see a bunch of scientists running around through green fluid. One of them with a turkey like head turns to me, and we make eye contact. I scream into the air piece. I feel a strange calm as the drugs take effect. I float out of my Real Body, and back to the floor. One of the psychic scientists looks at me. “It’s not a good idea for you to be here, friend,” he says to me warmly. I nod, and create a portal back to the Moon.

***
I wake up in the Healing Glen. MoSh is there. “Let’s rock!” he says.

“Doh! I am about to wake up. Next dream!” I say.
He nods, and everything fades to white.

Nomad's Dream

I am Juargawn, god of Nothing, a great rakshasa, a lion man, with light tiger stripes atop the Temple of Nothing, in the City of Nowhere in the Land of Aud on the muthafukkin Green Moon.

I survey the scene. I am above the jungle canopy. Flying cars float by. Birds swim on currents of nothing. An iridescent blue and black butterfly alights on my wrist. I look at the butterfly, and I can see its tiny tongue curled and its many eyes. It flits away. A breeze makes patterns in my fur, and I can see the individual hairs. The sun begins to set, and the sky turns pink and orange. I inhale deeply nothing-air.

Sarnox, my spectral flaming wraith High Priest joins me on the landing pad. We are standing on a picture of Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl battling eternally.

“Everything looks so fucking real, dog.”

“I know. It’s amazing.”

“This is real, isn’t it Sarnox?”

“Yes.”

I feel like crying, screaming, and laughing all at the same time. Instead, I just kneel and place my lion chin in my palm. I see I have dreadlocks now. I chuckle to myself.

A tiny man on a tiny hover vehicle, the size of a dragonfly, rides to me, and hands me a message in the form of a tiny envelope. I touch it, and it becomes a hologram of Raven. “Um, Nomad? Aren’t we going to the pirate ship?”

“Oh, shit! I forgot.” I turn, and enter the temple. A purple and black cape grows out from my neck. A silly purple and black top hat appears on my head, and I have a funny dancing cane. The hat becomes a great hood, and the cane becomes gnarled and twisted black wood. My eyes glow violet, and lightning flashes across my face as I stride toward The Mirror. I wave my staff across it, and it ripples like mercury. A scene of Raven planting flowers appears. She looks up at me, squints, and waves. I step through the mirror.

I go through a silvery wormhole going through the center of the Moon, and a beautiful silver and white wormhole Wyrm, grins at me as I bodysurf by.

I land next to Raven, on the Moon. My friend, Keiko, well, love interest, is somehow now there with me. She’s wearing a white robe, and holding a white staff with a caduceus at the top. I introduce her to Raven. Selene appears, and kisses Keiko on the cheek. Raven opens a portal to the Black Pearl.

We step in. In the wormhole we have an epic flash battle with a black dragon fighting the wormhole worm.

We are on a ghost ship in a dense fog. The sea is completely still. There are some nasty little bat things gnawing at us, which we toss into the portal. We instantly do healing on ourselves. The ghosts are everywhere. I scan Keiko. She seems right at home. Jack Sparrow steps out from among them. A green mist rises from his skin.

“Well, hello there, strange people things.... Ah, I know you!” He walks to Raven, and makes out with her. I laugh.

“Let us to the treasure! I mean, lead us to the treasure!” Jack Sparrow proclaims loudly.

“Who are you talking to?” I ask.

“Uh... me? Me. No, wait, aha, hear it is! My little treasure fairy...” He pulls Tinkerbell out of his breast pocket. She flies around and kisses all of us on the cheek. We dive into the green sea. “At this point, it would be good time to have gills and tentacles... or fins!”

I grow gills, tentacles, and fins. We follow Tinkerbell into the depths. There is a strange silver disk at the bottom of the sea. It looks like it just crashed into the seafloor! Is it an alien ship? There is a hologram of a ghostly pirate ship on it. I see the hologram projector is not working too well as the hologram is flickering. We swim down to the hull, and it opens.

A strange purple alien is dying... This sounds like... wait, I already have a Green Lantern Ring...

The alien speaks, and I feel it’s voice reverberate in my chest. “I am dying,” the Babelfish translates. “... being pursued by ones who want my treasure... what they do not understand is... *cough* they already have it... and so do you... you have everything to give, and everything to receive...”

The alien puts her hands over her heart, and pure love energy pours into them in a tiny colored orb. She opens her hands to us, and she exhales her last strange watery breath. The orb expands growing until it engulfs us. My third eye spins, and my entire being is flooded with light. All my chakras spin. I grab on to the hands of two people next to me. The five of us, Raven, Jack, Selene, Keiko, and myself are in a circle, spinning. I feel the orb explode. We are five Love Gods in a World of Light.

Suddenly we are back in the sea. Our eyes are glowing gold. “The greatest treasure in the world: The Fifth Element,” Jack whispers.

We fly through the water up to the surface. We hover in the sky and turn the clouds into a storm. It rains violently, and disappears. A cool wind blows, and we add our breath to it, sending the ghosts to rest in peace.

I open a portal to the Green Moon.

“Where are you going, friend?” Jack asks.

“Home, brother, care to join us?”

He grins and swaggers to the portal, stepping through first. We go through, and end up on top of The Tower. Wait... The Black Tower... And there is a Green and White Tower on the edge of the Sea... Two Towers?

The old Biodome wall is overgrown with green, but the energy dome can still be vaguely seen. “All systems normal, Biodome is now complete. Hidden fortress in the forest, as you requested sir,” I hear Stephanie, the Biodome AI say. We overlook a lush paradise. Colorful birds float by, smiling at us. People are singing in a valley below.

“This!” Jack shouts, surveying the scene, “This is lovely!” We walk through New Eden. As we walk past the Mirror by the Koi Pond, there is a scene of the sun rising. “What’s this?” Jack asks, and steps through. We are on the Mountain now, in a field of wildflowers among a few great pines. The air is fresh and clean. We look out over the ocean, and the sky grows light as the sun rises over the sea on the Green Moon. In the presence of the overwhelming beauty, all we can do is watch in silence.

The sun rises, and warms our skin.

“I am going back to my Other Life, soon, friends.” I give everyone a hug goodbye. “We are all real, aren’t we, Jack?” I ask him.

‘Of course,” he says, lightly slapping my face. I growl. He growls back like a dog, and barks at me. I laugh and the dream fades to black.

14. Madness

by , 05-31-2011 at 08:44 AM (The Nomad Chronicles)
Nomad surveys the carnage below. From his position atop the crumbling heap of concrete rubble, the human running about look like an angry ants nest. His minotaur eyes glow red. He bounds down the was-building, down the mountain to the remains of the battle. Leaping into the center of the fray, he roars in exultation and rage. The battle freezes, and soldiers on both sides flee in sheer terror before the monster.
Nomad laughs and dances gaily before the warriors, tossing lovely bouquets into the air.

dream shift

I am being tortured. Fuck. I hate this dream. I feel no pain. It’s Vegeta. Fucker. He stretches a rubber glove over his hand and snaps it. This is a dream. He looks fucking real. He’s powerful as a supernova, and this foul entity is going to torture for... TRAINING! Vegeta madly laughs. Shit. He’s psycho. He’s going to eat my soul and shit me into a thousand pieces. His fingers unfold in dozens of tiny blades, slicing through the gloves. The blades keep unfolding, getting smaller and smaller, like fractals. I am being sucked into a weird world full of razors slicing my fucking mind. FUCK THIS DREAM. WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE THE FUCK UP, NOMAD. FUCK. I wake up. I am strapped to a table, mostly vertical. I am in a torture chamber. Vegeta is a Spanish Priest. I am a voluptuous woman. I feel weak an vulnerable. He looks and me lasciviously. I feel like vomiting. He saunters over to me efemminately. “VoX,” he calls me. “VoX, this is your mother, wake up.”

I wake up.

I am a sixteen year old girl, living in Tucson, in my old house. It’s a thousand years in the fucking future. I look in the mirror. I look like a female version of me.

I hear my mothers voice rushing down the hall... but, it’s a totally different mother. “Vox, Vox, you were screaming in your sleep again. Stop that shit. Cut the crap, or you’ll ruin your voice. Take control of your dreams.”

I open my bedroom door. “But, mom,” I whine coquetteishly, “it was for training.”

“Well, apparently you failed the test. Mother sweet has to go to a Function.”

“Okay.” I kiss her on the cheek.

I go into the living room, and turn on the wall screen. I am drawn into a lovely mountainscape... I am flying over everything... like a lucid dream...

LUCID DREAM? LUCID DREAM?

I run to the bathroom, and I look in the mirror. It’s me, but a girl me? I take off my clothes. What the hell do I have boobs? and? Ok, this is weird. I run to my bedroom and lie down.

This is a dream, this is a dream. Go to sleep, wake up in Wakeworld.

I go to sleep... Have some weird dream about psychedelic monsters eating my soul.

I wake up....

Okay, Now I am somewhere... Hawaii... A million years in the future... I am living atop some artificial island on columns built on sunken islands... I am a tall greenish female humanoid. I then realize I have chlorophyl. I am the same girl as before.

Okay, which lifetime am I in?

A man enters the room... my husband. Am I gay? Am I a woman? Am I human? Where is my soul?

“Where is my soul?” I ask him confusedly.

“Probably in your body, but we exist in many dimensions. Maybe in one, I am your stalker trying to kill your, or you are hunting me down to eat me for food, and another we are a plant and fungus in a symbiotic relationship living on a rock in Antarctica.”

“Oh, my god, I feel so strange...”

“It’s the drug, don’t you remember?”

He shows me a pile of colorful mushrooms.

“Oh, yes.”

“Look in the mirror, it will make you trip harder.”

“Ok. Just don’t get lost in the mirror. I am going to turn this song on. When it ends, when the say, ‘the dogs fly on Nunday,’ step out of the mirror.”

“Ok, honey.”

I stare into the mirror. I look very... amphibian. I then realize I am part plant, and we have gone back to the water. I am okay with this. I have a vague memory of land leftover from my ancestors’ DNA. Now, it’s all in Hollow Earth... but life on the crust.. is not real.. this is all a dream... yet this is all real... life is timeless.

I see a double of myself, but bluish walk in the bathroom with a frying pan, and she smashes me over the head with it.

BAM!

I wake up on the moon. I writhe in the Healing Glen in confusion, and shock. I feel like my soul has slammed into my body, like an OBE ended too abruptly. “RAVEN RAVEN!” I scream. Raven is the only name I can think of at that moment. I scream madly and claw my face. The Glen hums, the trees and grass are healing me. A portal opens, and Raven enters. She is in Queen of Night form. She rips an imp off her shoulder, and tosses it through the portal. Healing energy comes up from the ground, and begins to heal her.

“Nomad, stop being so weak!”

“Huh?” I am shocked out of my madness. I look at Raven. Her face softens, and becomes more as the form I usually see her in.

“I just said that to get your attention. I had to do something unexpected to get you to snap out of it.”

“Let’s just play music. I will play didjeridoo, and you play ocarina. It will be fun,” she laughs playfully. She takes an ocarina off her neck and hands it to me. I hand her one of my didjeridoos. We play music, and colorful healing energy comes out of the ground and trees, and the music... flowing through us. I cannot describe well the serene beauty of the moment.

15. This is not an Esthetics Boutique

by , 05-29-2011 at 06:48 PM (Brainy Vapours)
In another haunted house, but I'm there with a baby girl. The address said that this place was an esthetics boutique. At first the ghosts are subtle and almost gentle, touching my hair lightly. Upstairs we are submitted to various attacks, from gentle to violent. One bathroom has a lot of "loot" in it, so I collect some large gems, hiding them in my clothes.

There are some old journals that the ghosts have written, so we read some of them and look at some of the old pictures in them. We talk with some of the ghosts and try to console them. One of the ghosts is interested in machines and he tries to "cen" my baby (I have no idea what that means), but I don't allow it.

As we are on our way out of the house, one of the ghosts tries to push me down the stairs. I get a sudden sense that that is what happened to her, how she died, and I feel sorry for her even though she tried to kill me. I notice a raven that is sitting quietly in the room observing us.
