    1. #4 - Dream Chain A

      by , 06-21-2016 at 04:23 PM
I had this series of dreams after waking up early and going back to sleep, which is typical for my previous lucid dreams. I was familiar with some of the features of these dreams: a realistic environment not usually drawn from real life, realistic dream characters who are part of the scenery instead of the plot (and sometimes ignore me), and dream chaining.

I can't quite remember the beginning. Before I went to sleep, I recall deliberately daydreaming to occupy my mind, so it might have developed out of that. At some point I found that I could have WILDs really easily. All I needed to do was let my mind wander, I'd soon see some realistic imagery (or once, a geometric pattern), and at some point, rather than getting caught up in the dream's plot, I'd just go 'yep, this is a dream'. I was able to improve the quality by shouting 'increase lucidity' and so on. The dream chain included:

      - One where I found myself in a large building with a vague 'institutional' feel, having corridors and a reception desk. Most of the dream characters seemed to ignore me, even after I did the "You're all in my dream, what do you think of that!?" thing, which I sort of felt like I wasn't supposed to do. I found an old lady who did respond to me and asked her something, but I don't remember what she said.

      - A non-lucid false awakening in which a kid climbed through my window, much to my anger, causing me to go and get a sort of spatula in case I needed to repel the intruder.

      - One where I found myself in a garden or courtyard surrounded by three-storey Edwardian architecture. There was a small, cubical brick building similar to a power substation. I decided to test my dream control abilities. Simply by telling the dream that my hands were sticky like a gecko's, I climbed up the brick wall and stood at the top. I then marvelled at the feat and pondered what to attempt next; I didn't want to try anything that might disrupt the dream. I considered trying to turn into an animal but rejected it, for example.

      - Misc.: I also recall some SP-like sensations of shouting but having no voice coming out, being unable to feel myself breathing, or having a dry throat but being unable to clear it. I recall trying to shoot 'energy balls' out of my hands by sheer willpower and failing. I recall looking at my bedroom despite knowing my eyes were closed and sagely recognising it as a false awakening. I recall the realistic sensation of having an orgasm after doing nothing more than passingly thinking about it. I recall the sensation of partially separating from my body by sitting up in bed but failing to fully do so.

I don't know if the chain started with a real lucid dream, and I definitely caught onto one or two bits of false awakening imagery while still asleep, but as soon as I woke up in real life I realised that my supposed 'really easy WILDs' were actually all from a false awakening. I'd been dreaming about lucid dreaming the whole time.
    2. A Cat, 2 Dogs, Roommates & a Fire

Dream 1: Non-Lucid dream fragment. Meesha was rubbing up against my feet while I was in bed & I woke up. She wasn't there in real life & she never does this, lol.

Dream 2: Non-Lucid dream. I went to this apartment & was babysitting a small dog. The owner came home. We were talking & then we heard something coming from the back part of the apartment & these 3 people who were apparently hiding there & they found another dog there that had just been born in the back of the apartment. They were friends of the owner. Suddenly there was a fire in the back of the apartment. We put it out but it had opened up a wall & area that wasn't there before. The owner suddenly said, okay you guys can fix this part of the apartment & you can live there. It was funny.

I listened to a soothing subliminal Lucid Dream tool while I was sleeping & I woke up in a good mood. It actually let me use the WBTB method.

    3. 08.11.2015

      by , 11-09-2015 at 09:27 AM (Chessica's Dream Journal)
Tried a WBTB today. I woke up after about 5 hours, and lay awake for about 30 minutes. Felt like I just would not get back to sleep. I heard the traffic outside and got a bit annoyed by the noise. I sort of gave up on the WILD attempt and put on a podcast on my phone (using ear phones). It was Lucid4life podcast.

After a while I must have fallen asleep, but I was dreaming I was still in my bed trying to WILD. I got up, thinking it was hopeless, and went downstairs. It was a mix between our current home and our last home. I went into the office room and looked out the window. It was dark outside. I didn't want to go out for a cigarette after all. Somewhere around here I was thinking that this big, almost empty, office room should be furnished with the furniture we don't have room for in the living room. I went to the kitchen. On top of the fridge there was several paper/plastic bags filled with huge brussels sprouts. H. apparently had discovered that they were ripe and picked them from the garden. When I saw the brussels sprouts I immediately knew I was dreaming, I heard H. come downstairs and hurried to do a nose plug RC just in case. I knew I was going to be able to breathe, and I was! H. came around the corner, I resisted the temptation to tell him it was a dream. Instead I just kissed him and we started some sexy time. This woke me up in just a few minutes, and the Ld was over.

    4. Lucid last night...albeit only for a short time

      by , 10-24-2015 at 11:06 AM
It was a short lucid event...as mine tend to be...but encouraging nevertheless (and anticipated). Yesterday, for the first time during the day, I managed to jerk out of my daytime “dream” on about 10 occasions (the “dream” that isn't “awareness”) I usually get so caught up in daytime living that I only manage a few.

I only practiced the awareness for a few minutes each time...looking around, thinking “this is a dream,” noting body sensations (particularly the feet) but the real breakthrough was the fact that the “trigger” occurred much more frequently. Maybe reading about the brain is helping...”use it or lose it” as the book says and I'm much more aware how neurons, axons and dendrites work and how critical it is to stimulate the brain by repetition.

I think I really pushed my brain sections when I first learned the dream routines. I remember how tired I often felt, how sometimes I awoke feeling really ill and (what I called) the “flashing” in my eyes. I now know that neurons were being frantically sequestered from other tasks to cope with my new demands. The basics are now firmly implanted so hopefully, when health problems etc are resolved I'll be even more back on track.

I was dreaming about a town and I had somehow entered a place where I sensed I shouldn't be and I was poking about in some equipment and I broke a piece off. I retreated apparently still clutching a bar of metal and decided to return to the (hall?) and replace it but I couldn't find the place again. That's a major DS for me and might have started the LD process. The dream was more vivid than usual and I remember tossing the metal into a nearby bush then thinking “I'm dreaming!”

By now, I can keep the excitement at a reasonable level and I resolved to look around and not dash off (another first really). Then I thought “RC” (good) and decided to levitate. I had resolved to try 2 or 3 RC's and maybe suddenly change the order (further validating the lucidity) but I'm happy that I full-filled most of my training.

I rose cautiously but started to go out of control a bit so I abandoned that and focussed on a nearby pub. It was beautifully clad in small bright green tiles and all there was a small war memorial alongside it. Then I felt the dream ending. Damn!

I have same old 2 problems...the shortness of my LD's and the fact that they are generally at the top of the night (usually after at least 7 hours sleep + a WBTB). I assumed it was lack of melatonin but I now have 1.9mg tablets which I've occasionally taken at various times throughout the night with no effect so far. I'm going to try 2 tabs one night (although the Spanish chemist was apparently shocked when asked for 4mg tabs and, knowing how even Spanish painkillers are at higher strengths than allowed in the UK, I'm understandably cautious)

Hopefully, the “awareness” trigger is here to stay and I can further extend the periods of awareness. So...a good result for me and maybe a sign of more to come

P.S. I had a “romantic” dream 2 nights ago...not sex...but hey! that's over-rated (I can afford to say that at my age) But, I'd rather have a romance with a good plot than a quick “wham bam thank you DC” but can I have it lucid next time?

    5. A nightmare turned into a lucid dream

      by , 08-07-2015 at 07:37 PM
Finally! After two weeks of trying to lucid dream once again, I finally have another one. As usual, I woke up before sunrise and went back to sleep, reminding myself to do reality checks if I dream.

      The Dream

The dream started off as a false awakening nightmare. I was lying on my bed in the dark and there were these figures in the shadow talking about how much they hate me because all my weaknesses and insecurities. They talked about how much they hated me and that my roommates are trying to kick me out because they are starting to dislike me. Then I tell myself to stay calm - this is just a dream.

I floated on up and out of my bed to use the bathroom. I did another reality check by looking at my hands. My fingers were deformed; it must be a dream then because my fingers aren't broken in real life. I looked into the bathroom mirror and saw that my hair was gray and my skin was wrinkly; this must be a dream since I'm much younger in real life. I jumped and try to fly, but could not - it felt too real. Next, I decided to open the closet. I tried to imagine something magical. But there wasn't: There was a teddy bear on the top rack and a glass of red wine in the lower one.

I was apprehensive about drinking the wine since I don't know what will happen after. Why did my subconscious offer me a teddy bear and a glass of red wine? Why did I turn into an old man with deformed hands? I don't know what possessed me about I held the large wine glass with two hands, bowed to the closet, and gulped it down as though it were an antidote. I blanked out.

Dream Signs: Looking into the mirror. Hand/finger check. Nightmare.

Interpretation: A very literal reflection of my fears and insecurities.

    6. LD: Bending Skills

      by , 08-06-2015 at 07:28 PM
I got up at 3:15 and tried for a WILD. I laid there and laid there and felt the time pass and pass...until I finally saw the sky outside my window brighten. I was pretty discouraged. But this was the first morning in a long time where I was going to be able to sleep in. I finally decided that if I kept trying for a WILD, I would just stay awake. So I decided to just get into the most comfortable position and just try to sleep and hope for a DILD. I often have that happen when I can't WILD.

As I was drifting off, I heard my dog barking. It was making me angry, because I really needed to go to sleep and not be bothered by barking. I finally got up and went outside. I was surprised to see that there were at least 6 other dogs that had gotten into the back yard. No wonder my dog had been barking. But when I looked for him I couldn't see him among the other dogs. Suddenly the yard was full of kids and teenagers. They helped me get the dogs out of the yard and would help me find my dog. As we went down the road I saw the that number of dogs had increased to about a dozen or so.

Something about this wasn't right. And really, who were these people I was with? Could I be dreaming? It suddenly seemed much more likely that I was dreaming then walking down the road with all these random dogs and people. I took a jump up....and continued to fly.

      Yes!

I very quickly remembered my goal of practicing all my bending skills. I flew to a big tree and sat on a large branch. I cupped my hands in front of me and concentrated on making fire. At first nothing happened. I wasn't too worried because fire is the easiest one for me, and I have had quite a lot of practice over the years at creating fire. So I continued to concentrate and soon saw little heat waves coming up off my hands. With a little more concentration I saw a little fire form within my cupped hands. That was good enough for me. I wanted to move on to water.

I looked at my hands. The fire slowly faded away and in it's place I saw that my hands were filled with water. That was easier than I thought it could be. I have only one memory of water bending in all my lucid dreams and that was years ago--and that cup of water had already been on the table. So I was thrilled that the water just came to be. Now for the next part. I concentrated again on the small pool of water in my hands. Soon I saw a section of water start to snake up. I pulled it with my mind and made it twist and turn. I finally made it head to my mouth where I drank it all down (that had been my plan all along--and it was quite satisfying--the more interaction with the water, the better, I say). I then saw Jeff next to me. He said he was hot. I filled my hands with water again, and this time focused on it until it became ice. It was not quite solid, still kind of slushy, but still intact enough for me to pick it up with one hand and give it to Jeff. He seemed happy with it so I moved on.

I saw that I was in the park next to the airport. I flew over to the fence and saw some small rocks sitting on the fence. I concentrated until those pebbles floated over and into my hands. I then formed a dust devil and those rock went swirling up into the very small dust devil in my hands.

I felt very satisfied that I had been able to do all four elements.
At this point I think I had a false awakening. Or I lost lucidity.

I was in what was supposed to be my backyard. I was looking at my tomato plants. I noticed that I had a lot of ripe tomatoes. Many more than I had remembered seeing before. I then noticed that my squash plants were also covered in these big cool looking squash, some orange and other pink with green on one end. As excited as I felt seeing all the squash, part of me started doubting. Again, I decided that there was more chance of me being in a dream than all these squash suddenly growing in my yard (had I even planted squash this year?). No, I was dreaming again. And that was okay.

I suddenly thought about all the bending I had just done. I wasn't quite finished. I wanted to make a bigger dust devil. I concentrated on the ground in front of me and made a 6-7 foot dust devil appear. At first it was just made from random dust and debris. But then I wanted to be creative. I used my mind to lift some reddish colored sand at the base of the dust devil. I watched as it started to swirl slowly up the dust devil. It was so fascinating that I did it again with more sand. Then again. The dust devil had all these swirling stripes, spinning and spinning. I focused again and made the patterns even more complex. It was beautiful, intricate, and so symmetrical. I was in awe.

But then I remembered my next goal which was to summon some new music by Angels and Airwaves. I had been wanting to do this for a while. I hadn't been successful the last time. I hope to be this time. I saw Daniel next to me. I asked him if he had a radio or music player of sorts. He said yes, and pulled out this funny orange and yellow colored box. He pushed a button and music started playing. I told him I needed to hear some Angels and Airwaves...but not just any old Angels and Airwaves, but something new. Something they hadn't created yet. He messed around with it. Several more songs came on, but none of it was what I was looking for.
Then the dream faded. And I couldn't get back.

    7. My First Lucid Dream

      by , 07-25-2015 at 07:34 PM
After trying to lucid dream for the past two weeks, I finally had a lucid dream where I was able to maintain lucidity. I woke up at sunrise this morning (as I normally do), checked the clock, and went back to sleep because it was Saturday and I could sleep in .

I went back to sleep with the intention of lucid dreaming. I lied down, completely relaxed, imagining myself literally "falling" into my dream world. Gradually, I noticed that my body could no longer feel itself. And then I lost consciousness; this was the beginning of my first lucid dream.

      The Dream

I found myself walking with my classmates outside on a warm rainy day. A friend of mine (a dream character who exists only in that dream) was shielding me from the downpours with his large umbrella as we walked outside on a school field trip. We walked leisurely in the rainy park for a bit before it stopped raining. As my friend closed his umbrella, I looked at his wristwatch and saw that it said 4:00 PM. It was then that I realized that I was dreaming. No. This can't be real. I went to sleep at 12:00 AM this morning and there was no way that I could have slept this many hours.

Normally, when I find myself to be dreaming, I would instantly wake up, but this time was different. I noticed that my consciousness and awareness increased but I did not let myself become fully conscious. I find myself in a state of consciousness between wakefulness and REM sleep. It was then when I felt the sensation of lucid dreaming for the first time.

In the dream, this sensation translated to a drunken dizziness that I had to struggle against. The colors and the sensations of the dreamscape were slowly dissolving into an unconscious sleep as I fought to keep my eyelids open. I mentally held on to the colors, sounds, and the sensations of the dreamscape around me. And, in a "Eureka" moment, it just clicked: I was completely lucid! I was able to see the colorful dreamscape clearly with perfect vision. I was able see my reflection and the reflections of the surrounding Romanesque architecture, the clouds, and the blue sky in the puddles on brick roadway. I was even able to smell my synthetic jacket against the backdrop of the petrichor of the summer rain. I was finally able to hold on to and experience lucidity in a dream.

The dream continued for another hour or so. It was a fairly mundane dream in very peaceful settings but it was exciting nonetheless. I drifted in and out of lucidity throughout the rest of the dream. I focused on my body and my environment whenever I started to drift out of lucidity. I recall walking around a lake in a beautiful park where humans and animals were enjoying the scenery together. I walked around the town in my dreamscape and visited a bakery. I took out my phone and decided to prank-call the cops but decided against it (because it was starting to feel almost too real to be a dream at this point). Instead, I prank-called my brother and left a silly message. Then I found myself at home, sitting at a desk next to my brother. Just to be ridiculous, I asked him, "Am I dreaming?" He rolled his eyes and sarcastically replied, "What have you been smoking?" At this point, not only did I completely lose lucidity, but I lost awareness of the dream.

      Reflections

Dream signs: clocks, watches, imaginary animals, anachronisms
Do's: Focus on the body and sensations in the dream, colors, smells, tastes, food, surroundings
Don'ts: Ask someone whether I'm in a dream; Try too hard to conjure up of places and things that don't exist

    8. Met my dream guide; Flew hand in hand with my husband

      by , 07-06-2015 at 10:07 AM
      7/6/15 12:54 am

Tonight I went to bed before my husband to try to fix my sleeping schedule by going to bed early. I had a dream, which I don't remember, then went right to bed to trigger a lucid dream through dream chaining. I told myself over and over again I wanted to dream of my husband. And I did.

      Lucid MILD, WBTB, Dream Chaining

I dreamed we had a shared dream and I was showing him how to control his dream. We flew together hand in hand. Saw Conan live. Visited a herd of "Mittens" (my cat who passed away recently), one of them bit me. It hurt. I wasn't bothered by it, and found it quite funny. The herd of Mittens was in my mother's backyard.

I woke up in my dream and my husband agreed we had a shared dream, but then proceeded to tell me I was Sailor Moon in his dream, which made me realize we didn't share dreams. He described his dream totally differently. Note: I'm still dreaming.

Then, I see this white stuffed animal on a chair who's talking to me in a squeaky voice. I don't remember the conversation. At first, I didn't trust him. I told him to go away. But all of the sudden I realized what he was saying. I told him, in different words, but essentially this "You're my dream guide." And he said yes (I think, or something affirming what I said) and jumped in my arms to give me a hug. Then I woke up when my husband got in bed in waking life.

I used a different word for dream guide in my dream, but don't remember what.

He was definitely different than all my dream characters, with a sense of his own agency. Even different than my dream husband, who was just responding to what I did. I think I didn't trust him at first because he seemed to have his own agency.

I almost feel like my dream guide and I were speaking on a different level, like in code. We knew what we meant, even though it wasn't in clear English.

This was definitely the best dream I've had with my husband. We were flying hand in hand! And that was amazing. I've flown hand in hand with one other dream character before, in my first successful flying dream. I asked him what my middle name was and he said Windy, then took my hand, proceeding to fly with me in the air. I've been able to fly in my dreams ever since, and this moment flying with my husband was definitely reminiscent on my first flying dream. I was rusty flying, since I haven't triggered a lucid dream in a while (only accidental ones) and had to relearn how to fly, only this time it was me who took my husband's hand to show him, rather than a dream character showing me.

When I was trying to fly, at first it wasn't successful. I'd keep trying to jump from higher levels of ground to lower levels, on a hilly area with grass and patches of dirt. The area is around my mother's house, down the road near a foresty area.

There was a point in the dream we were on a train, before the flying scene, taking to other dream characters.

Connected to my mom's backyard is an acquaintance's house. It's supposed to be my mom's, and I felt like it was my mom's, but at the same time this person's house. We went into his room and saw an anime poster. There was a "mom figure" there that was supposed to be my mom, but wasn't my mom in waking life. She was worried about me, but I told her this is all just a dream so not to worry. I showed my husband how to control the dream further by saying "clearer" and "brighter", controlling my dream world to become clearer and brighter.

In a sense, the dream started off with me being the dream guide for my dream husband, then finding my own dream guide. I really hope to see him again! I haven't been searching for a dream guide, but have been hoping to have a repeated dream character that has a sense of self and grows with each lucid dream. So perhaps this is a manifestation of that desire. Certainly not what I expected! A stuffed animal as my dream guide. I'm so excited by this.

This dream started off, I believe, as non-lucid. Though I don't remember the point exactly I became lucid. My husband and I were watching Roku together, and then went to see Conan live. When we watched Conan on Roku, he had his typical blue background, but live everything was white and the show was supposed to be a new Conan show, called Live with Conan. There was this mean producer lady, who was playing tricks on me. I think that was the point I became lucid, because something about her just gave off that she was a dream character. Conan later sat with me and my husband in the audience and apologized for her actions.

    9. Potagee pizza in the psych ward #16

      by , 05-01-2015 at 08:49 PM
Went to sleep around 10pm. WBTB at 0300.

Driving a van at night with J.G. He is sleeping and I am very tired. I pull over into a ditch and make him switch with me. He is pissed. The music auxiliary cord gets disconnected and I have to redo it.

3rd person: teenage girl is with her older boyfriend feeling in love and vulnerable. They are in a dimly lit, empty warehouse. To distract herself from her fears she begs him to have sex with her. "I've been practicing! The last guy I was with T-boned me and I've been doing yoga!" I assume T-boning refers to a perpendicular type of angle. They have sex and their genital anatomy is a little strange. She starts bleeding because of the hard angle.

I am at a baby shower of an overweight woman who has already given birth. It takes place in a small garden room. She is laying on a couch with her baby. A young man by a plastic picnic table is rubbing his girlfriend's chest in between her small breasts as some kind of PDA. She is really pretty and her body type reminds me of E.J.T.

At my gma's with E.J.T and my sister. Sister and gma are arguing about religion. I have a mini notebook of E's that has a commandment written on the back. I say, "Yeah but the bible says a lot of stuff that's..." she nods in agreement. Gma is very curt with sister and they continue to argue. I yell, "Just get a long already. Jesus Christ!" I start cracking up and everyone but gma starts laughing about the irony of using god's name in vain while promoting religious tolerance. I feel a little bad for offending my gma.

I am admitted to SMMH psych ward along with another older man. A male worker is giving us a simple orientation. I laugh at something he says about the room numbers being common sense. Then he comes up to me and says, "I mean, look at her. She hasn't even been here for a couple of hours and she's already flirting with everyone. She's just like the rest of them." An expression of astonishment and disbelief comes across my face. Did he assume my giggling was flirting? I realize that he's just taunting me, trying to get a rise out of me and thus non-responsiveness is the best response. I put on my poker face and contemplate about how I'm going to put all of this in my dream journal when I wake up. I go to the common area where we will do a group activity. There's a young man there doing art in his notebook. He wants to show me. It looks like a talented drawing of the earth but he's doing it by drawing random "Potagee Pizzas" (AKA - random, colored-in blobs). I say, "Portuguese pizza?" "Why do you say it like that?" He asks. "Because I'm haole." I respond. He points to himself, letting me know that he's white as well. "I wasn't raised speaking pidgin so it's weird of me to try and speak it now. It's just weird." I say. A local girl in front of me looks at me and nods her head in agreement. I ask for a pen because I want to get started on my dream journal right away so I don't forget anything. I accidentally grab a red one. I get up to the bathroom and the male worker says, "Did I hear a bathroom door?" He comes up to me and leads me to a more isolated bathroom. He enters with me, clearly with the intention of having sex with me. I continue to stare at him emotionless. He gets flustered and says, "Maybe she isn't like all the others. You know what, I forgot my badge in here somewhere." He then stands in the corner and talks to himself about what to do next. I sneak out and make hand gestures to the older, new admission to come with me. I see my husband in the nurses station and gesture to him, too, but he's confused. I yell for him but it's difficult to yell and I feel short of breath. Eventually he comes. My plan is to go back into the bathroom alone and play along with the worker until my posse comes in and catches him in the act.
Later I get transferred to a facility where the sexes are separated. I pass the male side and there are two big, scary looking local guys making sexual gestures at me. One of them is doing so with a shake-weight. I enter the woman's area and there is only one young woman there. She's sitting in the dark at a table smoking a cigarette. "Who the fuck are you?" She asks. "I'm a worker, student, intern or something. Actually, I think I'm a resident but I get special priveliges because my husband works here." I respond. "That's why you get the new room. Isn't it smaller, though?" She asks. "I'm not actually sure." I answer. Her room was large and the bed was so big that the foot of it actually wrapped around a wall corner. I went into my room and it was smaller. I only had a twin sized bed and an unmade sleeper sofa.

High School Gym, Dancing with my Daughter, Sick Boy and Girl, & Water Bending Attempt - Mar 21, 2015

Prior to my WBTB I had a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). In this dream I was a passenger in the back seat of a convertible. This fellow walks up beside the car and hits me in the forehead with an object (not sure what). I got a bit pissed so I reached up and grabbed him by his collar with my right hand and signalled ‘No’ with my left hand, waving my finger back and forth. He then goes to the fellow in the front passenger seat and says something to him, then he turns to me and says without expression, “I’m one of your dream guides and I’m trying to make you lucid.” Well, saying that certainly worked (not sure about hitting me in the forehead though)! Smoke started pouring out of the engine hood, and we got out to investigate. A bunch of my co-workers then showed up and helped us put the fire out by using water bottles. I then woke up, and it was time for my regular WBTB routine. Strangely when I woke I saw the numbers 3:31 floating and fading out in the air above me, and then I looked at the real clock and it said 3:35 Am. My real clock is 4 minutes fast. That’s never happened before. Maybe it was a false awakening?

After my WBTB routine, I had another DILD (I had fallen consciously asleep while in ‘the void’). In this dream I was walking into my high school gym, and it certainly was not the way it was supposed to be! When I entered the gym there was a 3 ½ foot tall concrete railing spanning the entire width of gym, and on the other side it dropped down into two lower levels. I instantly became lucid! I momentarily considered jumping over the concrete railing and going for a flight, but I felt a bit acrophobic, so I aborted mission. Instead I turned around and came face to face with a lightly glowing, male, dream figure. When I saw him, he quickly turned away and pretended he didn’t notice me when I said, “I’m dreaming”. The excitement of the moment caused me to wake.

I fell back to sleep and found myself becoming spontaneously lucid in this memorable dream with my daughter. Everything was perfectly clear and vivid, better than waking life! I walked into a dance hall with at least 100 people dancing to a classic county tune. It looked like square dancing to me, but what do I know about that? The music was very loud. I remembered my dream intent to visit with my daughter, so I started calling her name as I walked around the perimeter of the dance floor. When I reached the front of dance floor I discovered a smaller, circular, empty dance floor with bright colorful pot lighting above. It backed onto the larger dance floor, and the DJ was standing on an elevated platform with all his equipment. As I walked across the smaller dance floor a new song started to play and it was a groovy, hip hop tune with a kickin’ bass beat. The pot lights started keeping beat with the music. Well, I instantly started dancing with myself, and I was really getting into it! That’s when the DJ said, “We’ve got a dancer here!” The tone of his made it sound like, “Oh, here’s another mindless, zombie dreamer going through the instinctual motions.”, but I was fully aware of my environment and I noticed all the people on the main dance floor were now watching me. I didn’t care, I was having fun!

A group of teenage boys and girls then came running up to my dance floor and started dancing all around me! That’s when I noticed my daughter was in the group! She was wearing a horizontal black and white striped hoodie with the front zipper undone. I called over to give me hug, but she said, “No, I want to dance!” She glanced over at the crowd, and then continued dancing. Then I said, “Daughter come and give me a hug, I need a hug!” She said, “Okay.”, then she ran over to me and I scooped her up in my arms. “Dad, you did it again!”, and then I told her that I loved her (of course). She said, “Dad, it takes so long.” (the time between lucid visits), and I said, “Daughter, it’s hard to do this.” She then got a sad look on her face, and quickly recovered by saying exactly what I felt, “It’s so very important that we spend time together. I don’t care how much time I spend, or how difficult it is trying to become lucid with you.” Her expression changed to happiness and she said, “Yes!” and I held her in my arms, as we danced in circles, until I woke.

I entered the next dream in a fully lucid state from ‘the void’. I appeared in my kitchen, and there was pale, sickly looking, young boy sitting at my kitchen table (maybe 7 years). I walked over to him and asked his name, and he said, “I don’t know.”, so I said, “You don’t know your name?” He looked down and said, “Yes, I don’t know my name.” I remembered seeing him in an earlier dream, and I told him about this, but he didn’t understand what I was talking about. Then a girl in her late teens walked into my kitchen, and she looked equally as sick. I told her I also saw her in an earlier dream with this young fellow. She asked who I was, so I introduced myself and I told them they were inside my house. Then I told them that they are both welcome here anytime at all, and they both replied, “Thanks!” The lucid dream ended.

I was walking down a highway and I became spontaneously lucid for no reason at all. Off in the distant I could see cop car lights flashing, so I flew up into the air (horizontal position) to go and investigate. As I approached the cop car, I realized it was driving away from me, so I sped up to get a closer look. I came in right over the flashing lights, and then I flew in vertical position about 10 feet in front of his windshield. I then spun around to face him, as I was flying in reverse down the highway. It was real rush! The cop just ignored me (another crazy lucid dreamer), so I spun around and followed the highway for a very long time, and then I came upon a tunnel that passed under the ocean. At this point I made a hard left and flew along the seashore until I found an interesting looking public pool. I landed beside the main pool and walked around to the other side by a kiddie pool. I remembered dreamers at Dreamviews talking about water bending so I decided to give it a try. I focussed on lifting the water upwards to form a water arm, but instead the water violently rumbled and made undulations. I felt like I was making a scene, so I decided to go for swim in the main pool. Just before I jumped in, the lifeguard said, “That guy’s going swimming with all his clothes on!” I didn’t care, these are my dream clothes! I sat on the bottom of the pool and breathed the water (felt like air), and then the dream suddenly came to an abrupt end. After this I had a cool non-lucid dream about petting kittens in a cow pasture with my son.
    11. Big String of Fragmented Lucid Dreams - Mar 28, 2015

      by , 03-30-2015 at 06:19 PM
I went to bed early at 9:00 Pm. I find this is the best time for me to go to sleep if I want a fun filled night of lucid dreaming. I woke at 3:00 Am for WBTB, and took my puppy out for a pee. Read some dream journals at Dreamviews. Did some mantras (written and spoken), and then I went to back to bed at about 3:30 Am. I also used meditation techniques to bring me to the state of being consciously awake with my body asleep.

I was in ‘the void’ for at least an hour (very long time) seeing occasional hypnagogic imagery and voices, which in itself was very interesting and a bit shocking at times. Then I got ‘the vibrations’, so I OBE exited! I quickly moved away from my body and towards the door. I really wasn’t expecting this to happen, and I didn’t have an action plan. I was staying at my father in-law’s house, and once I made it to his hallway, I didn’t know what to do next. This pause and indecisiveness wasn’t good because shortly thereafter I ended up back in ‘the void’. I should have started counting and headed off somewhere. I was a bit disappointed because I think OBE’s are awesome.

I then went on a lucid dream marathon for the next three hours. Usually I wake myself up after each lucid dream and voice record it, but for some reason I decided to keep on truckin’. Unfortunately I lost a lot of the dialogue and details along the way (missing tons of content), and my memory was very fragmented. I don’t usually do this, because I think every lucid dream is special and needs to be remembered and recorded. Here’s what I could recall when I finally woke:

Some of these lucid dreams I entered fully conscious and aware. When transitioning from ‘the void’ to the lucid dream, I would momentarily see a two dimensional image in front of me, and then it would abruptly go to 3 dimensions and envelop me with all my senses. I was trying to pay extra attention to this last night so that I could give a good description of what happens when a dream initiates.

In this first LD I saw my sister’s husband Ken in my bedroom against the wall. He looked young and had black hair instead of blonde. I had entered this dream in a lucid state, but seeing my brother in-law standing in my room with dark hair made it very obvious that I was in fact dreaming. As I mentioned above, this started off as a 2 dimensional image and abruptly went to 3D. I sat up in bed and faced him and said, “Hi ken, thanks for helping me to become lucid!”, and he replied, “I didn’t make you lucid, I was just standing here.” “Well, thanks anyway.” I don’t remember what happened after this.
I entered this dream consciously, and I saw beads on the ground beside my bed, so I leaned over and picked them up. I then jumped out of bed and flew out the window. To my surprise I was flying through an amazing garden with beautiful stone buildings. I forget what happened next.

In this next dream I became lucid (DILD - not sure why), and I jumped over a stone railing into a courtyard using the ‘Superman’ position, but I didn’t fly. Instead I fell about 30 feet and crashed hard into the ground. I don’t remember what happened after this, but I do remember thinking that maybe I wasn’t dreaming.

My neighbour in the waking world is also a lucid dreamer and OBE’r. I was already lucid at this point for some reason. I was walking through these beige stone buildings in what looks like an Asian resort, and I could hear him calling my name from behind, so turned around to face him. This dream was ultra-vivid with perfect clarity. He said, “Hey, wait up!” I was totally shocked when I saw him. He looked and acted exactly the same as in the waking world. “Oh, hi! How are you?”, and replied, “I’m doing good! Let’s go off and explore!” I said, “We’re sharing a lucid dream.”, and he quickly replied, “I know.” I couldn’t help but notice that he was butt naked, so I looked down to see if I had clothes on, and I did (blue jeans and T-shirt), so I said, “Hey, why don’t you have clothes on?” He looked down totally shocked, and said, “I don’t know why?” We then went off exploring, and shortly after he vanished into thin air right in front of me. I continued on, but I can’t remember what happened next.

Two middle aged women walked into my bedroom, so I sat up in bed and started talking to them (entered dream in lucid state). I didn’t recognize them, but they knew who I was. We had some funny conversations. They were both constantly laughing as we were talking about all the funny and crazy things that happen in lucid dreams. My tongue then went numb and I could no longer talk. I was just babbling and my tongue was flapping around uncontrollably. They laughed even harder. I forget what happened next.

I was false awakened by a ringing android phone, so I got out of bed and found it ringing by my daughter’s crib. We no longer have that crib, and I didn’t recognize the phone, so I instantly became lucid (DILD). I could hear my father in-law talking downstairs. I answered the phone and I could hear really deep distorted voices coming from the phone. I then laid back down on the bed and started to play with the phone to see if I could get it to work in a LD. Not much luck of course, but I did manage to get a home screen, and some of the apps would momentarily flash on and off. I forget what happened next.

In this next lucid dream, I don’t remember how I got there, or why I became lucid, but I do remember talking to an elderly lady and we were discussing lucid dreaming. I jokingly mentioned something about lucid sex, but she didn’t find much humor in what I said, and she pretty much ignored my joke. She seemed to know me really well, but I didn’t recognize her. She seemed almost like a mother figure.

In this next dream I became spontaneously lucid while walking outside in a park like setting, so I called for my wife to join me, but she didn’t come. I was a bit disappointed, and I don’t remember what happened next.

In this next dream I met homeless man Paul, from my prior Lucid Dreams about God, and I introduced him to my wife and they hugged. He was wearing the same weathered blue parka. I wasn’t lucid in this dream, but I thought I would mention it, because Paul represented God in my LD’s.

In this dream I was staring at my right hand, point finger. Now this is weird, because it had two extra joints on it, and it was very long and strange looking. I was moving it around and trying to figure what the heck was goin’ on? My wife walked up beside me and I reluctantly showed her my finger. I thought she was going to blame this strange mutation on the fact that I lucid dream all the time (she gives crap often about my LD obsession). The extra finger joints then turned into a little, tiny hand on the end of my point finger and it started to wave at me. Okay, I get it, I’m dreaming! Dream Induced Lucid Dream - DILD! I then remembered my mantra to heal my wife’s sore hip. I asked my wife if we could try healing her sore hip in this lucid dream. She said, “Sure, let’s try.” I kneeled down on the ground and asked for God’s healing light to form in my hands (I read about this LD healing technique in a few books, and I’m determined to make it work too). A whitish ball of light, about the size of a basketball started to form in my hands. When my wife saw the ball of light she started to freak out and jump around while making screeching sounds. I lost all concentration and the ball disappeared, then I started to give her crap, and I woke soon after. Hmmm, this lucid healing thing is certainly proving to be a challenge, but I’m up for it
    12. Flying Piggy Back and Surprise Visit with my Daughter - Mar 27, 2015

      by , 03-28-2015 at 06:39 PM
Method: WBTB after 4 hours of sleep, Dream Journal prior night’s dreams from voice recordings, mantras (written and spoken), then back in bed and meditate with imagery until I’m consciously awake with my body asleep. Once in the void, I started to do internal and external body energy transfer exercises. By this point in time it’s been about 1 ½ hours since I first woke for the WBTB routine. I could feel ‘the vibrations’, so I attempted an OBE exit, which worked, but I paused for too long beside my bed, and I was sucked back into my body. I was a bit disappointed with this, but it was still early in the night, and I knew there were some lucid dreams ahead of me, so I fell asleep. Time for fun!

In this first lucid dream I was holding my wife’s hand as she happily skipped along. We were in a long hallway inside somebody’s house. I couldn’t help but notice she was in her early 20’s looking very young and beautiful (she’s 48 in waking life and beautiful). This made me instantly lucid (DILD - Dream Induced Lucid Dream). I said to my wife, “Hop on my back and let’s go for a piggyback ride!”, and she happily did so. After a couple steps, I leapt into the air and we were now flying piggyback style! We flew through the living room, and then into another room where my wife said, “What’s going on here? We’re flying. How’s this possible?” I said, “We’re dreaming!”, and she replied, “Oh, okay!” I then flew back into the living room, and by this point I was flying horizontal, and she was holding on tight! The entire living room was full of my family members, and my nephew Kent said as he laughed, “That’s awesome!” Then unexpectedly, somebody grabbed my right pant leg, and I came to a complete stop and we stood up.

I spun around to see who stopped me from flying, and an older woman (my age) was standing there looking a bit guilty. I said to her, “Why did you stop us from flying?” She fumbled with words, and then I said, “Was something wrong with what we were doing?” She then said, “You should be keeping a lower profile.”, and I replied, “But we were just having fun. There’s nothing wrong with that!” Her face was turning a bit red with embarrassment and she turned and walked away. I grabbed my wife by the hand and we followed her for a couple of feet to where she had nowhere further to walk in the living room. I then asked her, “Who are you?” She said, “I’m a relative!”, so I asked, “A relative of mine or my wife’s?” She said, “Of your wife’s. I go back a long ways. I’m German, and there were three of us.” I said, “Well then, what’s your name?” She still wouldn’t tell me. I then had a false awakening, and I sat up in bed to voice record this lucid dream, but I saw a very pretty blonde woman standing in the darkness of my room (it wasn’t my bedroom, I was someplace else). She looked like she was glowing with soft white light, and she looked very much like the woman I recently saw in another lucid dream (black eyes, no whites, very slender, with Barbie doll perfect skin, and long blonde hair).

She didn’t seem to see me, so I stood up in the darkness, and said, “Hello?” She looked at me and said, ”Huh, who’s there?” and I said my name, “It’s me!”, and she said, “Oh, it’s you?” She seemed very shocked with this. She then morphed into woman with curly blonde hair with a more roundish face, and she now had glasses on. Her eyes also changed from being completely black to having irises with whites. I thought why did she morph, I liked her look? I realized I had my CPAP mask on, so I tore it off my face and threw it on the ground. I then floated towards her in standing position. She turned around and quickly ran out of the bedroom and down the hallway, and I followed closely behind. I just wanted to talk to her. She ran into a kitchen. All the lights were off in the house, but she was glowing white so there was some light around her. She stopped by the kitchen table and faced me. She distorted her mouth, and her teeth went all crooked and missing. I began to think that maybe she was scared of me. I floated up to her, and she grabbed a knife off the table and stuck it up to the handle into my stomach. I didn’t feel anything, except some slight pressure, but my feelings were hurt.  I guess I shouldn’t go floating behind somebody in a dark house (I must have been real freaky looking/acting). I then went into another false awakening except when I opened my eyes; I was in outer space travelling at high speed. I forced myself awake, and I voice recorded these Lucid dreams.

In this third lucid dream I was standing outside my elementary school. There were a bunch of children and teenagers around me. I decided to head into the school and see what’s going on in the auditorium. As I was walking down the school hallway, a beautiful teenage girl with curly blonde hair, who I didn’t recognize, walked up beside me and put her arm around my waist. Boom, lucid! Another DILD! This kind of stuff just doesn’t happen when you’re old gnarly man like me (unless it’s your daughter). I put my arm around her should and drew her in close as we walked.
      Me: “Who are you?”
      Her: “I don’t know?”
Me: “Well perhaps you are somebody I know?”
      Her: “Yes.”
      Me: “Are you my daughter?”
Her: “Yes, yes I am!” She had a huge smile on her face! I still didn’t recognize her, but she had my daughter’s voice.
Me: “Okay then, you must prove it. What does daddy like to nibble.”
Here: Grinning and quietly she says, “Bellybuttons.”
Laugh, laugh, giggle, giggle! When my daughter was a child I use to say to her, “Where’s the button? I want to nibble on that button!” then I would chase her, as she frantically ran away screaming, until I caught her and kissed her button, then she would always giggle.

My daughter than said to me, “Dad, I want a glass of Coke.”, so we went to the Coke dispensing machine in the corner of the gym and I pushed the Coke button. Coke started pouring out of the nozzle, but there was no glass there, and it ran all over the floor. My daughter laughed, and said, “Dad, you have to put a glass in there first!” I could feel my lucidity failing, so I said, “Let’s walk around for a bit.”, but I then went into a false awakening, and I wanted to voice record my lucid dream with my daughter before I forgot the details, but then I realized I was dreaming because I was outside on the street with my coffee table in front of me. I forced myself awake, but I went into another false awakening, and then another one, and then finally I woke up for real and I voice recorded the lucid dream. I should have engaged the false awakenings and had more lucid fun with my daughter rather than trying to wake, but there’s always that risk of forgetting if you continue on for too long.
    13. Two Visits with my Daughter - Mar 24, 2015

      by , 03-26-2015 at 12:34 AM
WBTB method: Read Dreamviews dream journals, verbal and written Mantras, dream incubation using digital photos, meditation, body energy transfer work (both internal and external), then a couple of different tactile visualizations while in the void (consciously awake with body asleep).

Two hours later I found myself in a lucid dream, walking in my upstairs hallway, and then I got too excited and end up back in the void (consciously awake with body asleep). Quite often I get ‘the vibrations’ right after an LD, so I sat up in bed, and OBE exited. It was totally dark in my bedroom, and I couldn’t see a thing, so I fumbled around trying to find the door knob. Finally I found the door knob, opened the door, and walked out, but then the door pushed into my back. I turned around to go back into my room to see who was pushing my door closed, but I couldn’t push the door open, because somebody was holding it closed on the other side. I got too excited again and ended up back in the void. I thought to myself, “Darn, I blew it, I won’t be able to visit with my daughter tonight.”

I knew I only had about an hour left before my dang alarm clock went off, and I reluctantly decided to give it one more try. I usually don’t have much luck when I’m down to the last hour, because I usually fall consciously asleep and dream. I did tactile visualization again, where I was dropping coins from my right hand into to my left, and then passing them back to my right and repeating. I did this for about 10 minutes, and then I entered a lucid dream without losing consciousness. It was pretty cool. Suddenly a room appeared around me and I sat up in bed, and found myself standing in a hotel room with the front door open. It was a sunny summer day! There were lots of people outside, walking around on the street, and construction workers everywhere. They were building a bunch of new homes across the street. I walked outside, jumped over the porch railing, and landed nicely in the front yard of the hotel. A construction worker with a thick black beard was staring at me. I then floated up into the air, and he looked at me with a shocked and bewildered expression. At this point I remembered my mantra to visit with my daughter, so I quickly floated back down to the ground.

I headed off down the street, “Calling for my daughter to come and visit with me, because I was lucid.” People were everywhere, and it seemed like a good safe place for my daughter. I’ve notice that when there are lots of people around, there’s less chance of meeting up with a delinquent dream figure. I continued calling her name until I reached the end of the street, which ended in a keyhole. Then I heard my daughter calling, “Dad!” I looked and saw two women quickly walking down the street towards me, and then I recognized my daughter! She came and gave me a big hug, and I told her I loved her. There was this beautiful, blonde, curly haired woman standing beside my daughter, so I said, “Who’s your friend?” My daughter said, “That’s Mila!” Mila was shy, and she had her head down. I said, “You’re very cute! You look a lot like my daughter. You two could be sisters!” I gave her a hug, and she grinned a bit, and my daughter said, “Dad! Jeez.” I smiled at my daughter, but then I went back into the void.

I was consciously awake with my body asleep, and I thought to myself, “Should I continue on and risk forgetting this wonderful experience, or should I wake up and voice record the lucid dream?” I decided to continue on, because how could I possibly forget a lucid visit with my daughter? A short time later, ‘the vibrations’ started and I could feel myself floating around on my bed, so I sat up, and OBE exited. My room was black and I couldn’t see anything, so I fumbled for the door again, and then I started to count. Counting helps me stay focus and maintain the lucidity in an OBE. I was practically blind, so I started tearing at whatever was covering my face. I was thinking that maybe I was tearing my face off or that something really gross was happening. While I was tearing at my face I walked downstairs into the living room, where I finally tore off a big piece, and I was able to have a good look at it. Well holy smokes! It was a piece of white fabric! I continued tearing the fabric off my face as I walked through the dining room, kitchen, hallway, and finally back upstairs to my daughter’s bedroom. By the time I entered her bedroom I could clearly see, and her bedroom was nicely lit.

Her bedroom was incredibly vivid and clear, more so than the waking world. There were artistic sculptures everywhere, way different than anything I’ve seen in my life. There were many colors I didn’t recognize, and the sculptures were made of materials very foreign to me. I thought to myself, this would amaze the world if people could see this, but I really didn’t understand what I was looking at, and I’m really struggling trying to describe it, but it made me feel happy, like looking at a garden full of flowers, or viewing a scenic mountain range. Some of the sculptures had features resembling flowers, but I was really thrown by all the new and different colors. I started calling for my daughter to come, and she very quickly answered, “Dad, I’m here!”, as she walked in the bedroom door. She looked so beautiful and happy, and I gave her a hug and kiss. I was still very occupied with all that I was seeing in her bedroom, so we didn’t talk much. I then asked if she knew why I couldn’t see when I OBE exited, and what was covering my face, and she said she didn’t know. I walked over to her mirror to take a look at myself, to possibly figure it out, and I said, “Well at least this time I have pants on!” She laughed at what I said, and then things faded quickly and I was back in bed once again. I woke up feeling very much loved!

    14. Back to Back OBE’s with my Daughter - Mar 2, 2015

      by , 03-18-2015 at 01:05 AM
Went to bed at 8:45 Pm, and woke at 2:30 Am (WBTB). Stayed up for only for 5 minutes, which is not usual for me when doing Wake Back To Bed (WBTB), because I usually stay up for at least 45 minutes, but I was too tired. I decided to meditate while lying in bed on my back. I started to feel uncomfortable after about 15 mins, so I rolled onto my right side for another 15 mins, and then onto to my left side. Soon after I found myself in the altered state where your mind is awake and your body is asleep (even my hearing had stopped). The hypnagogic imagery was crystal clear. I saw a poster with lots of writing on it, but it disappeared before I could read it. People were gathering around me and talking.

The vibrations started, and I could hear electrostatic popping and sizzling. This was my queue to leap to my feet out of bed, leaving my body behind. I was expecting to end up in my bedroom, but instead I was in my childhood bedroom at my parent’s house. I immediately started to count, because this helps to stabilize the experience, and helps to keep my mind focussed. Off I went to try and find my daughter.

I ran down the stairs to the first floor, and into the living room. There was a transparent man standing there, and I ran right through him towards an older woman who was standing at the back door. I didn’t recognize the woman, so I continued past her to the back door. She then spoke in my dad’s voice and said, “No, don’t go out there, stay inside.” I turned around to face the woman, and I replied, “Okay, where’s my daughter?” She pointed towards a soccer ball size object that was morphing about 3 feet off the floor near the basement door, and she said in my dad’s voice, “Right over there!” It was very strange that this woman had my dad’s voice, so I asked her, “Who are you?”, and she replied, “I’m your dad.” I quickly stuttered, “But dad, you look like a woman?”, and dad said, “Yah, I know, but that’s just how it is.” By this point my daughter was almost materialized, and I got too excited, and instantly I was back in bed, consciously awake, with my body asleep.

Once again, the vibrations and the electrostatic popping and sizzling started, so I leapt from my bed to my feet. My bedroom looked so real, and felt so real, that I momentarily thought I had physically jumped out of my bed, but then I could see two transparent people standing in my room (definitely dreamin’), so I walked right through them and out my bedroom door. I then realized I was totally naked! Yikes! This is odd, because usually I have at least my gotchies on. I also still had my CPAP mask on, so I ripped it off my face. Top of my list was to find a blanket to wrap around me, so I went looking for one in my daughter’s room. I flicked the light switch on, but it didn’t work (of course), then I tried her lamp, same thing. The room magically became softly lit, and that’s when I noticed something was different with my daughter’s calendar. I sat on her bed to take a closer look.

At the end of each day my daughter would always draw a line diagonally through each calendar day, to mark its completion. She did this right up until she passed in 2013. In this OBE, the calendar looked different, because it was covered in brilliant green grass and red flowers. The diagonal line through each date was no longer present, but rather there were pictorials and hieroglyphics, right up until her passing date. I was totally enthralled with the amount of effort and detail that went into each day of the calendar. Very unexpectedly, I heard my daughter giggling beside me. She was lying under the covers in her bed. “Dad, every time I see you, you look older! It’s seems so strange.” She sat up in bed, leaned over, and gave me a huge hug. I replied to her, “Yeah, I’m getting older and older. Every day when I wake, I’m one day closer to being with you again.” She laughed and said, “Yeah, I know.” Then I said, “You still look the same, young and beautiful!”

Boom, back in bed again, consciously awake, with my body asleep. The vibrations started once again, and I tried to do a third exit, but no luck. I woke myself up and immediately voice recorded the amazing and memorable experience
    15. A Great Way to Spend Time in the ‘Void’ –Jan 18, 2015

After doing WBTB (Wake Back to Bed), my mind is consciously awake, but my body is asleep. This can be very boring while in the ‘void’ patiently waiting for the next lucid dream to start. Sometimes this can last up to an hour before a dream finally kicks in. Sometimes there’s hypnogogic imagery, occasional voices, but for the most part it’s dimly lit nothingness, and it’s challenging not to slip into unconsciousness. I’ve recently discovered that it’s possible to engage the void, and make it a pleasant experience. For me, the void can basically become a dream without vision, but you have touch and sound. Here’s what happened:

I had just finished a lucid dream where I was at a very scenic boardwalk enjoying the ocean and having an evening walk, and then the dream faded and I was back in ‘the void’ waiting for the next lucid dream to start. After about 10 or 15 minutes in the darkness I heard some people talking, and I recognized one of the voices! It was my daughter’s! I tried to call her name, but nothing happened, and it felt as though if I had tried any harder, my physical body would have spoken. If my physical body spoke, or moved, I would slip out the void and physically woken up. I could still hear my daughter talking to somebody, so I decided to relax and calm myself into the twilight zone of slipping into unconsciousness. Then I said my daughter’s name, and it worked! My daughter quickly replied by saying, “Dad?”

She then sang me a brilliant song that lasted about 30 seconds, ‘a jingle’. I told her it was a beautiful song! Then she came and hugged me. I couldn’t see anything in this state of lucidness, but I could feel her hugging me, and I was able to talk to her. I hugged her back and told her I love her. She jokingly said, “Dad, we have to stop meeting like this or people will start to talk!” I then said, “Daughter, we simply need to be together every night while I dream until we’re together again. A father and daughter can’t be separated.” I slipped deeper into unconsciousness and I found myself fully lucid back at the boardwalk again. I was still talking to my daughter, but she was now a small sphere of light, the size of a ladybug stuck to the side of a weathered wooden wall. I told her again I love her, and that we simply need to be together. She then vanished, and I continued my evening walk along the boardwalk. Shortly thereafter I lost my lucidity and continued in regular dream mode. I don’t remember what happened after that, but I did end up back in the void again, and then I had a pontoon boat LD which I’ll journal later
