    1. De Gea and a Really Bad MAN UTD Keeper

      by , 07-14-2011 at 08:27 AM
Well Manchester United's newest goalkeeper David De Gea had just arrived and someother goalkeeper was angry this DC wasn't Kuszcak or Amos it was some mixed-raced guy who was really bad in goal.

      Dream Fragment

I was in my house and the Sun was shining from a window that isn't usually there.

It was a false awakening. I noticed it was a dream because everything had a much starker contrast. It was dark but the night sky was this impossible cartoon shade of dark purple-blue. I was compelled to run. I was lucid and I was excited. This immediately put intense strain on the whole dream and I could feel my blankets on my chest. I grasped at a banister by the stairs and rubbed it to stay in control. I knew it wouldn't last so my first instincts were to start sprinting outside so that I could enjoy my lucid before it snapped. As I ran into the large living room/kitchen area in my house, I could feel the dream slipping again and I sprinted towards the window above the sink in an attempt jump out. I remember jumping at it, noting the odd shade of the sky. But before I made contact with the glass, I could feel the blanket on me again an I woke.

      A shame.
    3. 07/12/2011 - 1) Fragment, 2) "War on the Water"

      Dream Fragment One:
There was some type of art contest going on. I remember rummaging through some of the entries with EH (a really attractive friend of mine, whom I seem to be dreaming about quite often, lately). It took forever to get to mine, which actually turned out to be of noticeably less quality than many of the others, but it was still somewhat decent. I could have sworn that I had more entries to show her, but it turned out to be only that one. Later, I was sitting on the floor, and she was straddling my lap with her arms draped over my shoulders. I was kissing along her neck and we were whispering some things to each other. My (deceased) dad was asleep in the other room, and we were trying to keep quiet, so as not to disturb him, or anyone else who was in the house. Later, my ex, MJ, and friend, J, came over. I was telling J about the amazing time I'd been having with EH. We all know each other, and MJ was talking with EH. I could tell MJ was plotting something. She came back over, beaming to me about how her and EH were now 'best friends,' and I had a feeling that this was, somehow, going to lead to trouble.

      Dream Two:
      "War on the Water"

I was a part of (another) special military force (on some G.I. Joe type shit), caught up in an enormous firefight, in a village with high grass surrounding it. The enemy was a guerilla force, which was very skilled in hiding in the bush and using camouflage. They would pop up in random places, and we'd have to be quick to react. I remember having some weapon that fired hundreds of tiny spikes into the grasslands, blindly, to take out whoever might be hiding in them. One guy cornered me with a rocket launcher, around the side of a building. He was too close to fire on me, though, and I ended up throwing a grenade actually into his mouth (somehow), and diving around another corner just before he exploded. (I had watched the end of one of the Rambo movies, yesterday, which had the whole 'hiding in the high grasses' war scene in it.)

Then, we had to chase down some of the leaders of this enemy faction. We got down to the water, which seemed more like an enormous lake than an ocean. They had a boat in the marina, and they took off down the water, running pretty-much parallel to the shoreline. We had boats of our own, and were about to get into one model, when we were presented with another, upgraded model. This thing was bad ass. It was like a futuristic rocket-boat - all black - that skimmed on top of the water and had boosters on the back. When they started it, it sounded like a jet engine. This boat just soared across the water at an amazing speed. A few miles down the shoreline, we came up to a landmass that jetted out from the coast a little bit. There was a short skirmish with some of the enemy, here - one of whom didn't look human, but like some human/beast hybrid that had long black spines that stuck out, down the back of his head. During this fight, some of my teammates had been abducted. The ship that the enemy had been on suddenly submerged and dropped down into a watery tunnel that led beneath this landmass. We were about to follow, when one of my other crew members said that we needed to go back and get the other ship that we'd left behind, as well, just in case something happened to this one. He convinced me by telling me how deep they were going, and how horrible a death it would be to drown, simply because we didn't have a back-up ship. I was sold.

Soon, we were racing back, in the jet boat, to where we'd come from, weaving through some of the other ships along the coast. Back where we had docked, it took us a moment to find the other ship, but we soon had it - along with some reinforcements, and were headed back to the mystery land mass. We never quite made it, though. Along the way, we were intercepted by these large, ethereal creatures. They reminded me of Hindu Gods/Goddesses. They were each identical, aside from the fact that they were different colors. They were very large - some 40 feet tall - and seemed to have a sort of glow to them. They had multiple arms, and each one held a very large, curved sword in it. The entities were all clearly female, and had light wisps of translucent gowns fluttering around them. They gave us some type of threat, as they floated there, on top of the water, but I don't remember much of what they said. It seemed that their mission was to stall us there, though, so I don't know if they were working with the enemy or not. After talking for a while, they asked an enigmatic question; whether or not we'd noticed how the water level had been rising, as we were talking. Looking out over the horizon, I could see a swell. The water was definitely rising. But why? I got a really bad feeling.

I knew something huge was coming. It was just a sudden assumption that turned into an unmistakable awareness. I told everyone on my team that we needed to get out of here - now. These entities were not about to let that happen, though. As soon as we attempted to vacate the area, they attacked, swooping and diving all around us, throwing their enormous blades at us, which rotated around and returned to them like boomerangs. One of them launched a blade at the jet boat I was piloting. Instinctively, I launched myself high into the air, my vessel being destroyed beneath me. Now, boatless, I dropped back down toward the water. Suddenly, though, I stopped. I was hovering - practically standing on the water. I realized that I had the ability to fly! This immediately affected the battle, and I was now flying and fighting and dodging these things and their flying swords. Feeling just on the cusp of lucidity (yet I don't think I ever quite realized I was dreaming), I also began using telekinesis, myself, realizing that - once one of those oversized blades came spinning in toward me - I could mentally deflect it and send it whirling off in another direction, guiding it with a wave of my hand. I also quickly picked up on the ability to loosely control the paths of these weapons, offensively, sending them flying back toward the entities and trying to do them in with their own swords. The fighting was extremely fast-paced, like fighter planes dogfighting over the water; dipping close to the sea and then changing course at breakneck speeds. The rest of my unit continued to fire their weapons from their vessels, unless they had already been destroyed.

Ultimately, though, we just weren't making any progress with these things. The huge swell in the water was just getting bigger and bigger. The swell then turned into a wall of water heading toward us. It was a few dozen feet high, and I could see that, after it, the rise in water level would be completely overwhelming. 'Standing' on the surface of the water, once again, I quickly increased my altitude in just enough time for the wave to pass beneath me. On the back side of the wave, the water level was now practically touching my feet again, and I looked back toward the shoreline just in time to see the wave smash into the rest of my crew and the passenger boats in the area, immediately capsizing them and washing them away. I looked down toward my feet to see an enormous black shadow forming. Something massive was surfacing beneath me. I pivoted on the water and shot off in one direction, the surface of the water speeding off into my peripheral vision. I could see that this shadow was following me, though, moving just as fast as I was. Again, I went even higher, arcing up above the water and looking down below.

Finally, my pursuer appeared - bursting out of the water with jaws wide open. It was as if Godzilla, himself (the 1997 version) came jumping out of the water like some sort of leviathan. (It was, without a doubt, the largest sea monster I can recall ever dreaming.) I frantically increased my speed and the gigantic teeth snapped closed behind me - so close that I actually had to tuck my legs and then kick off the monster's closed maw to fly even faster. The only thing I ever saw was the head because its incredible size blocked any possible view of the rest of its body. This colossus just continued to chase me - diving in and out of the water and keeping pace with me - repeatedly snapping its teeth within just feet behind me as I tried to fly faster and faster away from it.

I don't remember the outcome of the chase, though. But damn that was intense.
    4. The theme is "shared", Killing the king of the wild things (without the wild things)

      by , 07-13-2011 at 11:34 PM
13-07-11 I am on a beach and there are someone there that I am supposed to remember. The scenario concerns shared dreaming. I turn lucid at some point though the trigger eludes me and the vividness of the dream isn't great. The person running the show isn't who I expected. A couple of other rookie lucids are there with me as well. They all tell me their names and I find it important to remember them, but they are soon forgotten. Was there a Mark in there, and someone whose name begins with an R (Not supprising considering I readh MoShs shared dreaming thread just before bed). In any case the whole thing is a bit difficult to explain. The beach seems to be this gigantic hub and the leader is passing from one person to another assisting them, either with control or something else.

When I step in an start directing the show a bit, it is with great respect for the people around me. I say something like.

“Right, time for dream stabilisation, how do you guys normally do this?”
There may be some mumbling amongst 3-5 people standing by the waves before the answer is returned.
      “Have you tried spinning?”
“Think I have done, but not in a while.”

I start spinning, but not your average spinning. I utilise a technique I have picked up in my non-lucids where I gradually spin with my body more and more parallel to the ground. People either try trampling me or try and jump over me and I become a bit playful and start doing some whirled spinning jumps up amongst the people standing right next to me. I turn around and spin around with my back towards the sand. Though this is fun I don't think I am engaging the scenario enough and I soon wake up.

I recall only the dream after I turn lucid. I may have been lucid prior, but what is written is what I remember. I know that the dream was long prior to what I remember though. I am in some sort of hall. It reminds me of a mixture of a factory warehouse and a sports hall. I think of what the task of the month is and I remember it is about ”where the wild things are” and becoming their king.

I don't encounter any wild things to my memory, but I undertake a quest to summon their king and dispose of him. There are three pre-quests I have to fulfil before I can find him. These three quests will grant me three keys I have to use to get the final key. I start the first one but start thinking that I may not have much time left in the dream, so I decide to cheat by flyng up and grabbing the key from a wooden box with a narrow opening in it. My flying isn't really controlable at first but I manage to snatch the key before I start the descent.

I defy my lack of ability to fly as I head for a risen platform hovering above the floor where the King will spawn. ”I am dreaming I know I can fly!” and this thought makes it possible. There are four boxes on the platform, one at each corner. I put in the key and turn it. There is a mechanical vibration in my hand as I do this and looking out over the floor I can see four elements descending from the ceiling forming a square. I know the king will be in the middle of these. I look around on the other key hole boxes on the platform and wonder why there are keys in all of them, though i reason that if I hadn't cheated I would have had four keys in total.

After a short while the king makes an appearance, He approach from a gate on the lefthand side and as he makes his way towards the descending things he is ethereal at first. I figure I will have to wait until he takes on coporeal form to attempt an attack on him. At first when he takes on bodily form he is naked and very white, sorta vampyrish, however I am dreaming and have no fear so I jump down flying at great speed towards him. When I arrive he has taken on a bunny suit and is slightly fat. I tell him I challenge him and put up my fists preparing for a boxing round.

Before the fight starts we are interrupted though by 3-5 people wearing black cloathing, the leader seems to be a woman. I feel slightly frightful and grab the king and take him behind a shelf.

”Wasn't I dreaming, I am sure I was dreaming, there is no need to hide” I think to myself.

I look at my hand and as I do a couple of extra fingers start growing so I am reassured and take the king and walk over to the people. I also know that I can't really hurt anyone so I talk to the woman and tells her to grab hold of the kings legs.

I grab his head and rip it clean off and I am somewhat relieved that it makes the sound of clothing being ripped as this happens. He was only stuffed afterall.

I start walking towards the gate the king appeared from and think to myself. ”Damn, you got that ”where the wild things are” story completely screwed up, this probably won't count anyways”. ”Ah well it was mildy enjoyable in any case”. After this I wake up.

I am in a room and a handful of attractive women are there and I am talking to Kaiser about Caroline Loven. I tell him that I have been with her 4 times. I am going through the excersise starting at 5 trying out 3, but decide on 4 (the actual number is 2). I am unsure as to how the conversation arose, but think we were discussing attractive women we had been with.

      Skip

I look outside the window and am surprised to see a large red building move towards my left away from me. I think it a bit weird, but quickly someone tell me that TV2 is going to get their asses handed to them for this as apparently they are to blame. I recall the television show and don't find it particularly weird (Would have hated myself for missing this, if it wasn't for the fact that I had already had one lucid that night ^^).
    5. A dream remember from a long time ago

by , 07-13-2011 at 11:11 PM (The Imaginarium)
I wrote this some time ago, but not in my offline DJ:

"I had a dream that made me sad when I woke up. I don't remember when I dreamed it, but I recently remembered it. It wasn't the dream itself that was sad, so it wasn't that my day was affected by something imagined. However, the emotions in the last moments of the dream did stay with me at the instance of wakefulness. In the time just after realising you're awake but before you realise where you are, I went from so unbelievably bliss full to hollow and empty feeling.

I don't know how the dream started or where it went to get to this final point - it's probably inconsequential and certainly nonsensical - but at the final point in my dream, I was happier than I can remember being for a long time. My dream was very simple, I think, but since I only remember the last moments I can only say conclusively that the idea was simple. In the dream I was seemingly as I am now apart from one single difference. You may see it as minor or you may see it as major. I was married, presumably, and holding the love of my life who was pregnant with our first child. I remember the sunlight on her face and her smiling. I just felt content, and wished things could stay like this for ever.

Then I woke up. Not like being torn away or fading out but instantly jerked into that semi-concious state, one moment there, the next here. I realised I was alone and wondered why. Then I realised I didn't know this woman and couldn't remember her face. How could I forget her? Finally, full conciousness hit and I remember life as it is. I realised that I had been dreaming. In the moment I remember being the saddest I have been in some time. I remember feeling hollow. Then I got on with my day, and forgot about it, mostly."

That was the most emotially intense dream fragment I've ever had. I don't know what made me remember it now, but when I do remember it, I feel sad. It sounds cheesy, but I can still see her face, when I remember this dream.

      I. Apocryphal

I remember little about this dream but the theme seemed to be that I was attempting to separate my apocryphal beliefs and also the ideas that I've absorbed from others from the "real" ones.

The only events I remember are seeing D.N at my house on his way to class, looking extremely intoxicated. This happened twice.
There were also two fireworks displays I was at.

I think i recall dreaming about a TV talkshow. And they where hosting Shared dreamers to come tell their shared dream experiences on TV.

      Took a nap this morning.

I dreamed i was in a park talking to people. I was thinking about lucid dreaming and i hopped on my bike to ride away. Then i noticed this huge billboard sign saying : "NOTHING BEATS LUCID DREAMING, DV FORUM"

I'm like.. wow how didn't i notice that sign. I guess lucid dreaming is getting populair if there are billboards like that noawadays. Wait a minute ! I pinch my nose and i'm able to breathe.
But fuck.. i'm back in my bed. I was vaguely aware of that the whole time actually. Seeing both scenes at the same time. I didn't bother pinching my nose in bed. I was pretty sure i woke up. I just tried to get back in the dream, without success.
    9. 13/07/11 - Violent dreams

by , 07-13-2011 at 02:29 PM (Nom nom nom, Mmmattelicious...)
      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Had a bunch of violent dreams last night. No lucid which was kind of disappointing considering I did a proper WBTB.

      00.30: Sleep

      07.00: WBTB 20 minutes

      09.00: Fragments
*I'm riding my snowboard with my brother Morgan. We arrive at some wooden ramps and halfpipes. We stay there for a while for some reason.

*I'm walking down a street with my friend G. I remember a bank robbery happening up ahead just a few weeks ago and I tell him about it. "They had machine guns and everything, was awesome."

*I'm holding some man's arms from behind. My friend Eric stabs him in the heart with a knife. He misses and does it again, only in the right place this time. I think it's all a game of some sorts.

      09.00: Dark mansion fight
I'm standing infront of a wall covered in weapons. There's all kinds of weapons and they look really cool glistening in the light. I decide to try one out but I get the wrong one, an M16. I get the feel that this is a game aswell, a little one on one survival.

We're inside of a huge mansion, which is so poorly lit up that I can barely make out my own hand if I hold it up. I'm also the girl in the "Alien" movie. My opponent (also a girl) gets to be the chased one and runs up ahead to do whatever. I wait for a while before heading out after her. This is some really scary shit, she can be anywhere and I can hear my own breathing in the weird mask I'm wearing. I try to light some areas up but my flashlight sucks.

I walk up a flight of stairs and stop, there's a large, can sized spring a few steps up. I spot several more and figure it has to be traps. I move them to the side with telekinesis and head up. Some other weird external hard drives appears and a voice tells me: "I don't know why they don't work if the switch is on 2." I see a switch and switch it with telekinesis to 2 instead of 1. The traps lights go out and I head on. I walk around a bit upstairs.

I get bored, and I keep looking over my shoulder. She's around, I can feel it. I jump over the railing and land hard on the floor ten feet below. I see a shadow moving and point my gun at it, nothing there. I hate this stupid flashlight! I walk around a bit more before I can't take it anymore. I head back to where we started and tell the guy there he's up.

I want to switch my weapon for something better. I watch as a guy takes a shotgun and empties it, and fills it up with suringes instead. "This will put her to sleep instead of killing her" he tells me. He hands me the gun and the other guy and I head out again. I spot some weird device on the floor, it's like an oval glass bubble with some "The Matrix" squid-like creature in it. I put my boot on it and it struggles to get free with its black tentacles. I shoot it several times and watch it stop struggling.

I pick it up, it's still awake and hold it firmly. I can see three small wheels on it which can be turned. "Strength, Speed, Spirit" it says. I spin the strength wheel and watch the creature grow and become much stronger. I spin it the other way and watch it shrink. Better put all stats on Spirit, it doesn't do much anyways.

I show the creature to a scientist who appears out of thin air. "Can you do two things for me?" I ask him. "First, try to extract the substance from this, it's bound to have some powers. Second, I want you to try to see if there's a way to befriend it." The creature starts to struggle alot, and to move it apparently moves some wheels underneath, which is now shredding my skin slowly but surely.

I hold it in a different way. "Oh look! It's so fine that you can barely feel it hurting you" he tells me as I watch two spots on my hand begin to bleed. He's right though, I can barely feel it. "This is going to leave a scar though" I tell him. "Yes, yes it will" he replies. I start thinking about the potential use this alien has. It's just a small drone or some low ranked creature. I don't want to make that into a queen, I want a bigger one.

12.00: Spy for the Americans in Nazi Germany
I'm inside a big warehouse. It's in the 1940's and I'm a spy for the Americans, in the middle of Nazi Germany. I can hear soldiers joking up ahead and I decide to check it out. There's a doorway leading into a rectangular room. To the left are showers with alot of people in them, to the right I can see lockers and clothes, aswell as a rifle standing against the wall. I grab it and run. I head outside and can hear a truck somewhere. It's night out, and I spot lights through a forest.

A yellow dumper truck appears and I aim with the sniper I just stole. I try to shoot the driver in the head but my aim is off, I totally forget about the delay bullets have and the bullet hits a tree instead with a loud "smack". There was almost no recoil at all, what a puny rifle. All of a sudden I hear shouts and look inside the warehouse again.

The soldiers have noticed me and are trying to hide behind the wall in the locker room. I shoot several times and have to pull the lever each time. Whenever I hit someone a small text appears, showing me where I hit them. One guy gets hit in the leg, another in the chest.

My last shot takes down another one and I figure it's time to leave. I run alongside the warehouse in the snow when a lone soldier appears. It's an officer and he points his pistol at me. It's the same model they used in the WW2 and a memory pops up into my head.

"That gun is the easiest of them all to disarm." I run behind a few stairs and hide behind snow to get out of his line of sight. He yells something in German. When he appears he's close enough for me to grab him and I do. I disarm him quickly and take him to the ground. "Please don't" he says and I try to shoot him in the head. Nothing. I cock the gun and try again "click". Stupid gun! I hit him in the head with it until he stops moving.

I grab his coat and hat and put them on. As I'm buttening it up a kid appears and tries to scream. I grab his mouth. "Shhhhh, or I'll hurt you, understand?" I ask him. He nods at me and I let him go. "You will help me, ok?" I say. He nods again. I can hear laughter up ahead and realise the metallic stairs I was dodging around leads up to a few barracks. I grab the kid by the shoulder and lead him up the stairs.

We reach the main door and head into a small room with shoes everywhere in it. A sink and a few coats on the wall. "How many soldiers in there?" I ask him. He says five in german. I ask again and he tells me it's around ten. That's way too many to kill by myself. "Lure one of them here" I tell the boy and he opens the second door just a bit. He calls a soldier in English for some reason and tells him he has some delicious food for him.

The soldier opens the door fully and I stand straight. "INSPEKTION!" I yell in his face, trying to look as stern as possible. After all, I'm a German officer! I realise the soldier opening is my uncle and he looks me straight in the eyes for a few seconds. "Inspektion soldier!" I tell him and march past him. I have to come up with a reason for my bad German (non existent more like it) and I decide to play drunk. I sway as I stand there, watching the ten or so soldiers. They're all watching me silently. I look inside the kitchen and fake taking mental notes.

I stumble into another room. "Yeah he's definitely drunk" one of the soldiers tell another. "Du bist eine schrashen" I say and realise I shouldn't talk much because I'll be busted for sure. I have no clue what I just said but I play even more drunk. In the living room I find a bunch of TV's and radio equipment. I watch the monitor and there are red and orange dots running all over it. One side is definitely losing. "Germans?" I ask my uncle and point at the losing side. "Jah" he says. "Sheisse!" I say angrily and head back to the hallway.

"Guten tag!" I say and quickly head out the door. I button my coat as I walk down the metallic stairs into the cold, still swaying incase anyone would take a look outside. My cellphone rings but I pick it up too late. "Felix" it says and I try to call him again, but there's no signal. I run over the frozen ground and arrive at a fence. Instead of barbed wire there's just plain wire. I jump up on it and try to fall over to the other side. Ofcourse it's electric and I get burnt pretty badly on my thighs.

I fall down and sit down in the snow, my legs stinging painfully. There's a road up ahead with a big truck on it. The entire sky is lit up from behind a forest on the other side of the road and I figure it's American soldiers. I start taking off my Nazi clothes when all of a sudden the truck starts transforming. It changes appearance to a red V2 rocket launcher. I put my clothes back on as I watch it change colour to red and golden stickers appear which says 007 and somethign else. The truck takes off.

      12.00: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 11 hours

      Supplements: Mugwort Tea at WBTB

That's it! First time trying mugwort and I have no idea if it was because of the tea that I had such long dreams, or because of a bit of REM rebound. I also slept a very long time, sweet.

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
    10. A few different dreams

      1. This dream was more of a fragment. It involved me going through a cave with different monsters that wanted me dead. I jumped down a hole into another part of the cave. I can't remember anything after that.

      2. The next dream was pretty much just the film: x-men first class, or what I remember from watching it.

      3. The third dream was in a post apocalyptic wasteland. I was the member of a faction which was warring with another faction. I became lucid. I used a sniper rifle on the enemy faction, but once I got bored I tried some kind of teleportation but woke up instead.

      4. This dream involved mass effect and school. I for some reason needed to go to school at night, and found a spaceship. I ended up getting involved in the events of the mass effect games. I feel asthough I became lucid in this dream, but I'm not really sure.

      Monday, July 11th

This is what my notebook said when I woke up. Couldn't connect it to images though...

"Dystopia. Every movement causes suspicions in others. Intersection. Meeting them somewhere I get in a car with a family. They turn around at the stoplight and I'm just sitting there."

      9:25 AM

Dreamed of a close up look at fast rotating blades for a nut processing machine I was building at work. (Part doesn't exist in waking life)

At a tiny bay just past a water inlet I stood at the grassy shore. Randy from work was there. A stone pillar about 2' wide barely poking out of the water was like a tiny island. On the top were symbols (something about matching symbols and clicking them) (something about cleaning the island)... Disks were being tossed in the water. I dove in to collect them (like at the pool with water rings). After collecting them the water level rose up from being low to high.

Ah, horrible recall last few days finally broken.

      1. My friend P.M. is renting a camper from a couple of Russian guys. He drives me to it, but when we arrive it's really a dump. He brushes it off and says he has something more important to show me. He's apparently invented a time machine! The dream transitions to a futuristic room, containing a machine with five chambers. In one chamber, a man in Renaissance garb is sent to his native time. In another, an alien that looks like a dolphin is sent into the future. Yet another chamber contains a single banana, which is sent somewhere unknown. I crack a smile at that absurdity. Finally, two quarreling lovers are sent somewhere. I false awaken and start to dream journal about it, then actually awaken (big failed RC, and screw you subconscious).

      2. I'm a journalist, currently skulking around an abandoned African city. I go through the corridors and stairways of a dark factory, looking for the focus stone of a changeling child.
