    1. Fragments

      Dune-based, a Fremen leader has just died and everyone's chanting the name of someone they're choosing for the new Naib, a well-respected middle-aged man known for being level-headed. But they're interrupted by Paul and Jessica, performing some Bene Gesserit trick with light that makes them appear god-like, a move to take power over the Fremen. It works. I find it extremely distasteful.

      My IRL mother weighing a desire to give up physical possessions against the potential uses for the land she owns, and considering an apiary.

      A wrong number from an angry woman looking for a Melissa. (Not the one from the myths specifically, but still presumably inspired by the apiary bit.)

      I'm looking at a digital folder labeled 'Eric'; none of the files inside have anything to do with him.

      An earlier, lower-budget movie version of Barbarella.

      A variety of nautical references: ornaments shaped like ships, a trip to the beach and a mention of pirates.

      A painting of pale, black-haired elves with ravens on their shoulders, in a park.

      Two homeless men, one with a dog, the other a preacher standing on a wooden crate, arguing about Jesus and whether or not he spent a lifetime as a cat.

    2. FBI, cannibals, and elves, mostly fragments.

      Withnail & I, in which '& I' has an audition he's nearly missing, wrapped up in a sheet on the floor of the apartment and brooding. I, disembodied observer, am noting that no matter how badly off you are, looking at these two will make you feel better.

      Hannibal, in which Will is in Hannibal's room, examining the things hanging on the walls and feeling wary and suspicious.

      A prehistoric bat-like underwater creature.

      ElfQuest, in which I've just come back to the Wolfriders after a long time away, centuries, things have changed a great deal while I was gone. They have new rules for staying hidden - 'new' being relative, these rules are old and well-established for them, to the point that they don't always remember this is all new to me, and both I and the people who were away with me mess up from time to time. It's been a strange readjustment in a lot of ways. I'm up in the treetops, looking out over the forest to a place where a river and a road meet, a road that was never there before, and I think even the river's moved. I'm thinking about how drastically the humans have changed while I was gone, and how my people have had to change along with them.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

      Fragments of a few related scenes, not sure what order I dreamed then in. Pretty clearly influenced by Hannibal. Switches back and forth between 1st and 3rd person, following a man who does some very strange job for the FBI:

      Walking down a sidewalk in DC with a black-haired woman with an upturned nose, her with a cup of coffee in her hand, none for me, I don't drink coffee - we have some professional relationship, we work very different jobs but we talk outside of work, we're old friends, with occasional attempts at being more than friends but the timing's always been wrong.

      A different woman, my partner, talking to our boss about his faith in us on some very strange case he's given us.

      My partner again, we're on assignment in some small town, been here for a few days, and right now we're not working, she's fooling around uploading photos of me to some social network site that her mother is on. I've met her mother, I like and respect the woman, and my partner's teasing me about posting something inappropriate. I try to see what photos she's uploading and she keeps shooing me away.

      Same small town, been here longer now, I'm talking to a police officer I've gotten to know a little just as we're wrapping up for the day, he says it's good that I'm dating, "even if you do fight a lot." I have no idea what he's talking about, I think maybe he misinterpreted something about me and my partner teasing each other - we do fight a lot when we're filling out paperwork - then I turn around and see that other woman from before has come to pick me up, and she's dressed for a night out, stunning, the dream 'camera' does this slow pan up her legs, black dress, done something fancy with her hair - I'd known we were going out for dinner but this I was not expecting. I'm thinking it's something to do with being out in the middle of nowhere like this, the people around me aren't content to let me keep holding them at a distance. It's not a good thought.

      Last fragment before I woke up, more obvious symbolism than the rest, 3rd person for all of it - he's at dinner with that woman, not at a fancy restaurant but at a place with some activity that keeps them on their feet. She's eating ribs, messy, sauce smeared on her face. It looks like blood. So mostly I'm left with this image of her crouching with blood on her face, and I, the disembodied observer, hear TdV's Sarah's line in my head: "Blut, Liebling. Leck es ab." She hands him a rib, and he, obligingly, eats, just as his phone rings, work-related, so that when he answers his phone he also appears to have blood on his mouth.
    3. Tolkien and handcuffs

      I'm traveling, spending the night in an old stone tower. Thranduil's standing watch out in the woods, I can see him through the window. The rain's coming down pretty hard, much harder than it was during my watch and I'm still trying to warm up, sitting up brewing something hot to drink. I'd like to call him back inside, let him stand watch from the window instead, but I know he wouldn't. Everyone's still on edge about that Balrog. I hear voices at the bottom of the tower, one of the Men with us calling to Thranduil, telling him to quit haring off on his own like that. I can't see where Thranduil's gone, but the two Men who'd been guarding the door are looking around the edge of the woods. Then a leather wing covers the window for a moment and blocks my view, something flapping around the tower carrying a rider, and I shout to the others to wake up.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

      I'm sitting at a bar drinking something green in a shot glass, when iron handcuffs are snapped around my wrists. Some crime has been committed, something which I'd planned to do. I didn't go through with it, though. I'm innocent. But it's still my fault that someone else carried out my plan, and I'm willing to take the punishment.
    4. Fragment 2/3 - Legolas' Death and a "Crispy" Dumbledore

      Notes:
      These three fragments are all from one long-ass dream about a war being waged between two sides. I'm not sure what these "sides" were, because the characters and scenarios were so random. I don't remember much of the content that happened between the fragments.

      The entire dream must have been fifteen minutes in length. It's one of the longest non-lucids I've had.

      So many morbid dreams lately! I wonder what's up...

      Anyways, this was the shorter of the three fragments, and probably the weirdest one too! I was in the same location as in my previous dream, Open Heart Medicine, except that it was much darker overall. The colors were paler and more dark-blueish in tone, but some browns were still present in the piles of wood and scattered items. Instead of being at the foot of the one large hill, I was about halfway up it, kind of standing awkwardly on the slope with one knee bent a little. I was looking up at the top of the hill, where the front half of a classic pirate ship was placed; it was facing upwards into the sky at a bit of an angle. It looked like the back end had been blasted off, because there were lots of shards of wood and hanging chains, along with other items, where it was cut off. The dark grey flags and sails were almost non-existent; they were very torn up and looked like they could've just dissolved into the air at the mention of a slight wind.

      To the left of the ship, also on top of the pile, was a single stack of flatter black rocks that was a good ten feet in height; on top was a man; I knew that this was Legolas from Lord of the Rings. I only saw his silhouette though; it was a straight black color with no definition, as if it was a shadow puppet. His hands were on his hips and he was looking at the ship, which was directly to his right, level with him. As soon as I looked at him, the sky changed (although I can't really tell -when- exactly it did so) to a really dark red, which gradated to dark orange, and then a pale darker yellow right behind Legolas.

      I looked to my left and saw a short man, possibly a dwarf but I'm not entirely sure, sitting on the side of the hill not five feet from me. He was wearing a woven Chinese sun hat and had a ginger beard, but I couldn't see his face because of the hat. He was wearing Lord of the Rings-style armor: silver, with some green and pale maroon fabric underneath, complete with some chainmail on the chest and lower arms. He had a long, skinny twig in the side of his mouth, and he chewed it a little bit.

      "Legolas committed suicide," he told me with a very husky, almost garbled voice. "He was too proud to face conquest by the enemy".

      I looked up, and then I saw that Legolas had vanished from the rock stack.

      In a matter of moments, I had forgotten all about Legolas and the short man, and brought my attention back to the ship, but this time I was looking in front of it, on the side of the hill closest to me. There was a cross made from two wider-than-normal planks of wood, and on it was what I believed to be Dumbledore, although he looked more like Gandalf. He was wearing Gandalf the Grey's outfit, with a grey witch's hat on his head. What was so creepy about this, however, was that his eyes were wide open and his mouth made a bit of a gaping expression, and he was burned up with dark skin and yellow teeth. It reminded me of a crucifixion.

      "Why is he so crispy?" I asked myself quietly, suddenly very afraid of my surroundings.

    5. Hogwarts Hufflepuff Challenge! 8-29-11

      Hi everyone! I haven't been posting in my DJ for a LOOOOONG time, and feel really bad. I got out of it, and need to get back in. I will be starting again today (Permanently this time!)


      I woke up around 4 AM and attempted a WILD. I got into SP and saw HI of floating door handles around me. I used VILD to get me right into a dream outside of Hogwarts.

      It was early morning outside at Hogwarts, around 6 AM. I could feel the crisp, cold air on my skin. It felt nice. I looked around, and noticed this dream was extremely vivid. I noticed tiny things like bugs flying around, the texture of every little thing, and all the vivid colors.

      I started to walk towards the entrance to Hogwarts. I pushed the large, wooden door open and stepped inside. A few people were walking down the halls. They all looked like they were in a hurry for something.

      I looked down at myself, and noticed I was wearing a bright orange robe. My skin was very tan, and I felt very short. I quickly changed into a Hufflepuff robe with a flick of my wand.

      My wand was a dark green color, and was mossy. It had many details, and tiny bumps on it. I walked down a white marble hallway, and decided to complete the "Learn and perform Alohomora on a locked door" task.

      I summoned a short person, who looked like a wise elf. I always imagine the best teachers to look like elves. I told him I would like to know how to perform Alohomora.

      His eyes were twinkling (literally), and he told me to draw the shape of a key in the air with my wand, and then point it at any locked door and say "Alohomora!". He grabbed my arm, and we flashed into a dark blue room filled with wooden doors. He told me to choose a door, and then he disappeared.

      I looked around, and one particular door caught my eye. It had an engraving of an owl on it. The owl was moving, just like most pictures in Hogwarts. I went over to it and drew a key into the air. I could see the outline of it. I pointed my wand at the door, and the outline of the key started moving towards it. The owl caught the outline and the door slowly creaked open.

      There was nothing on the other side! I slowly walked into it, and started to feel a pins and needles sensation all around my body. The next thing I knew, I was standing in a tall room filled with owls. There were all kinds of owls. Barn owls, great horned owls, snowy owls, etc.

      A barn owl gracefully landed on my shoulder, and whispered to me "Look up, you will find all the ingredients to create an aging potion, on that platform with a cauldron." I thanked the owl, and looked up. There was a floating platform in the middle of the air about 80 feet up.

      I super jumped onto the platform and could feel a cold wind blowing in my face. On the platform I saw an eyeball, a book, and a green marker. I picked up the book, but it was blank. I slowly dropped it into the black cauldron. White smoke came out of it, and I heard a banging noise. I picked up all the other items and put it in the cauldron.

      When I was done putting the last ingredient in, a cup appeared in front of it, filled with green liquid. I picked it up, and slowly brought it to my lips. It tasted like a sour green apple! I loved it! I drank as much as I could, but I forgot it was an aging potion!

      My legs started to feel weak, and I could see a white beard growing out of my chin. I started to look exactly like Dumbledore! A cane appeared by my feet, but when I bent down to get it, I fell! Oh my god I hate being old I said to myself.

      I used my wand to make me look and feel young again. The transformation to become young was slow, but felt good. Owls were still flying all around me.

      I couldn't remember if there was any more Hufflepuff tasks but I did remember one Universal task! I held out my wand and said "Accio...broomstick!" I felt cold wind all around me and a broomstick flew into my hand.

      I cautiously got onto it. It was little bigger than I expected (width wise). Right when I sat down it zoomed forward, and I had a hard time controlling it and hanging on! All the owls looked up and surrounded me. They grew hands and guided me to safety.

      Once I got to the ground I decided to try it again. I got on it, and nothing happened. I pointed it up, and it shot up! When I pointed it right, it went right and when I pointed it left it zoomed left! I looked for any windows or doors to fly out of, but couldn't find any. Just this long room filled with owls. It didn't occur to me I could just teleport out since it was a dream.

      I flew around the room for a couple minutes, when I fell of the broomstick! It was so unexpected, I just fell and hit the ground fast!
      I woke up, and could see that someone turned on my fan in the middle of the night.

      This dream takes place in a sort of Medieval fantasy world, much like Lord of the Rings. I am my dream incarnation Kalima, who has orange hair and wears a white and violet dress. I am in the center of a large valley of some kind. I am on a flat plain surrounded completely by large snowy mountains. It is cold and dry and it is either late autumn or I am far north, though there is no snow on the ground.


      I know I am trying to find my way to a certain land, but I do not know how to get there. I am in the process of escaping another land where people are trying to kill me because I have been accused of witchcraft. A while ago I was being pursued by a group of men dressed in furs who were riding black horses, but somehow I avoided them and ended up in this valley. I am nervous because there are no trees or large boulders to hide behind and if the horsemen make there way into this valley, they will surely see me.

      I head for the smallest range of mountains and try to traverse over it, but I lack supplies and I am starving, I am too tired and it is too cold. I collapse and some travellers find me and take me to their cabin on the other side of the mountain. I sleep for a long time and when I awake I am in a trance like state and I start drawing maps because for some reason I am unable to speak and cannot tell my rescuers where I am trying to go.

      Some of the older men in the family recognizes the land I have drawn in my map and they gathers supplies to try and take me there. We travel for a long time and are almost at my destination when the horsemen find us and attack us. All of the men I am travelling with, except one, are killed and we are taken prisoner. We are taken to a camp set up by the horsemen and I am interrogated and tortured because the horsemen want to know where I was headed, though for some reason I am still unable to talk. Late in the night thw lone survivor of the men I had been travelling with is tortured and killed. After his death some of the horsemen gang rape me repeatedly.

      Dawn comes and I am traumatized and exhausted and am looking forward to the horsemen killing me for witchcraft because I do not want to live anymore. Before they can assault me further the horsemen's camp is attacked by elven warriors and the horsemen flee or are killed. I am overhwelmed by everything that has happened and pass out.

      When I wake up I am in a large palace somewhere and there are beautiful elven people walking around and whispering softly in the grand halls. My wounds are dressed and there is fresh fruit and bread on a table near by soft bed. I am still traumatized from the torture and rape, and still unable to talk, yet somehow I know that I have arrived at my destination and I fall back into a such deep sleep that I do not know if I am just asleep or if I have died.

    7. Elvish Misadventures

      1. I'm in study-hall, about to do some doodling in my notebook. The teacher says I draw too much and that I need to use study-hall for reading instead. So I reach into my backpack and pull out a rather battered paperback copy of The Silmarillion and locate my bookmark.

      2. I'm an elf, wandering through a forest. There's a blackish-gray wolf following me, but I figure he's just there to be helpful. Then one of my former classmates knocks the wolf away with a huge hollowed-out log and starts chasing me. I can occasionally hold him off with a spell, but I have very little power.

      3. I've been captured by an orc slaver, along with several other elves. The orc also keeps several huge owls on a leash. I try escaping several times, but I always get caught. Invoking the name of Elbereth doesn't help either. Eventually, we get to this hotel where the orc finds out he's only going to get about $8000 for the elves he's brought in.

      4. Outside my old high school, I'm about to set out on a journey with a couple other elves. We stop to gather bundles of a special kind of long grass that can be simmered to produce a nutritious and delicious soup. Somewhere along the way, my companions get replaced by two of my (human) former classmates. There's an abandoned house that's still fully furnished, so we stop there. I set about the task of making dinner, but my classmates keep messing with the recipe. Then they let in this beggar-girl who starts stealing various objects in the house to sell.

      5. I'm trying to eat some macaroni and cheese, but I keep getting sent away on errands, so I can't have any. I go on a huge rant about how you really don't want to find out what an elf with low blood-sugar can do.

      6. I'm trying to solve a sliding-tile puzzle that's booby-trapped with water balloons.
    8. Stranger/Lover

      Details are a bit fuzzy today (sauvignon blanc), but I know the dreams were vivid, logical, and mundane enough that I couldnt tell I was dreaming (you'd be surpised what's mundane in my life).

      Something about a primitivist hippie commune/farm in the forest. Ive never been to this one, perhaps it's a composite of several farming and primitivist communities I've lived with. I remember saying that I felt more at ease there than at any other community Ive been to. The people there were very happy and jovial.

      Why are there arcade games in the forest? Ive seen much more bizarre things, I suppose. Its a driving game. I don't have any money, but I sit down in the chair and take the wheel. It works! Its very real. Now I'm in a real car... at least it seems real, like I'm really driving, but I know I'm still sitting in the chair, in front of a screen, in the middle of the forest. Wow, Im driving through a hilly countryside. Its very beautiful, sunny with little puffy clouds. Lots of twists and turns. Its making me sort of nauseous, so I get out of the chair.

      I'm in a strange house, on the top bunk of a large bed with a very sexy young man whom Ive never met, and yet were very intimate and comfortable together. Perhaps weve been lovers in some long forgotten dreams. Were cuddling (I don't often actually perform sex acts in dreams. Usually its just a lot of cuddling, kissing, petting , and rolling around), watching a movie. The movie keeps jumping out and becoming real. Satyrs, elves, fairys, minotaurs. Happy creatures with joy and slight mischief in their eyes. A huge grey cat that looks like none Ive ever seen before comes bounding up to the bed, intelligence, benevelolence, and obvious sentience dancing in her flickering eyes. I want to cuddle with the kitty, but I somehow know it's inapropriate.

      (This is the third or fourth dream in several weeks to feature magical creatures, btw. Last time it was giants, and we were working together, trying to save a race of dwarfs that lived at the base of a great plateau that I bounded, almost flew down, while the giants leaped from ledge to ledge, down and down to the base of the plateau)
    9. Scary Slideshows, Strange Games, and Elves In My Basement

      1. Someone projects images of creepy-crawlies all over my walls, and won't let me leave.

      2. I can change my curtains by selecting an image on my computer.

      3. I'm playing a very strange Mario-meets-Metal-Gear-esque game where Snake has to find and destroy an evil spinning top within a certain amount of time.

      4. My friends and I are exploring a bunch of secret doors in my basement, which lead even further down to a fancy bathroom with a bunch of elevators in it. We get into one of them and end up in an elf-village that resembles a casino. There's a currency system where regular coins won't let you play the games, so you have to trade them for special ones by dancing. The leader of the elves kicks my friends out for being human, but for some reason, he allows me to stay. (At which point my alarm wakes me up)

      This is a dream from last year:
      Flying Cats
      I am by a small tree in a meadow near the edge. I am sitting under the tree trying to figure out a rubik's cube but just when I am about to solve it all the colors are all messed up again. I notice a shadow fall on me so I turn around and look into the tree. There is an owl sitting on the branch looking at me. Then it swoops out of the tree and turns into half-cat in midair. As it lands it turns into all cat. The cat comes up and rubs against my legs and I pet it. It is purring. Then another owl jumps out of the tree and turns into a cat and comes over. Pretty soon there are about five owls jumping out of the tree turning into cats and jumping back, turning into owls and landing back in the tree. They keep doing this. As they land they roll around on their backs like happy cats when they get high on catnip. They are like little owl/cat griffins.

      Another dream from last year:

      The Story Time Cafe Presents: A Night In the Faerie Kingdom
      I am with Mieko one late full moon night in a park. I give her one of my magic potions. We share it actually. It is Datura and Mushroom tea I want to show her a little bit of my world, you know? Because she has never known anything out of the ordinary.

      We walk around and we walk up to a large oak tree. There is a wooden door in the side of the oak tree with a brass knocker on it and a doornob and wrought iron hinges. "Watch this!" I say and I knock on the door. An old elf lady answers the door. She is about four feet tall and wearing a shawl.
      "Come in, come in!" She says. Mieko seems apprehensive so I smile at her as if to say "It's alright, come on." And we walk in down a spiral staircase. The old lady is very happy to have us there. The stairway opens into a large living room/kitchen. It is dimly lit. She introduces us to her husband who is an old hippie elf. He looks like he had a hard life smoking pot so he decided to retire, relax and smoke pot, you know the kind? He smiles at us but seems too stoned to talk.
      The wife offers us some cookies (elves make the best cookies) but I politely decline and I give Mieko a look as if to say "don't eat food from this world if you want to come back." The wife says that the cookies used to turn out better when they used wood to burn in the oven, but the park rangers made them switch to gas. I think that is funny that 1. the park rangers even know you guys are here, and 2. They could make you change from wood to gas.
      Together the husband and wife lead us back to the staircase which goes deeper into the ground. I can see that there is a whole world down there! Or a whole underground city village full of little houses like this. The husband says "Won't you go deeper?" I want to go but Mieko wants to go home and fold laundry.
      So we don't go. We climb back up the stairs and out the tree trunk and there we are next to the old oak tree again. The breeze blows the branch aside and a beam of moonlight lands on me and when it does, I see that really I am all alone burying a toad under the tree! It is kind of like in the first pirates of the Caribbean movie when the moon shines on the bad pirates you see who they really are: skeletons. But in this case I was really alone burying a toad, not with Mieko! I felt confused like I was having a Datura flashback.

      Anyway, that lasts for only a second and Mieko and I go into town to a place called "The Story Time Cafe". This is a place parents can bring their children at night with their sleeping bags and pillows and leave them there while the employees read the kids stories all night so the parents can go out. All the parents are going to this concert so we go also.

      At the concert I wander away from Mieko and run into the old hippie elf! He has some more hippie elf friends with them and they ask me to be in their band! They like the way I play music. I say "Well, I'll have to think about it. I don't think I can make it down underground for practice that often."
      "That's OK!" said the hippie elf. "We can come up here to practice, but we will have to play shows underground." "Alright!" I say.

      I run into Mieko again and I tell her about it but she says that I won't have time to be in a band because I have to mow the lawn everyday.

      Then I am on the stage at the Story Time Cafe telling this to the kids. It was all a story I was telling! I am sitting up in a sleeping bag on stage.

    11. Failed Vision Quest

      I am young than I look now and wearing a grey and red poncho. I am in some sort of museum or cultural center focusing on North American Aborigonal Societies. I am there to participate in a vision quest and arrive late in the afternoon to recieve instruction on what to do. I am told by some Elders that this vision quest is more like a savenger hunt because I have to obtain seven various items from safes that are hidden around the facility. The safes are locked with complex systems that require finding the right item to open them, and not all of the items are plain keys, which are also hidden from plain view.

      I see that there are several other young people in the meeting room, some I know in real life and some I know in the dream. They have already completed their vision quests and are just visiting the facility. One of the coditions of the vision quest is that I must find and do everything alone and cannot ask for help from anyone. I go over and say hello to some of the people I know but many of them outright ignore me or are reluctant to talk to me.

      Evening comes and many people leave but I want to stay as late as I can and get as much of my vision quest done as I can. I walk through the facility and looks along all the walls and corners for hidden safes. I find one but it is locked and I do not yet have the key to open it. At first I am closely observed by some Elders who follow me around and take notes on my progress and discuss it amoungst themselves, but I lose track of them at some point and left to explore on my own.

      I find by self on the second floor of the building and come to an area that is open to the floors below and is crisscrossed with wooded suspention bridges. The only way to the other side is across the bridges and as I start to cross I notice two Tolkien inspired elves standing in the middle of one, observing my movements and loudly discussing me. One elf looks like Peter Jackson's version of Elrond and the other is a dark haired elf with a stern look on his face.

      I cross the bridge and explore some of the rooms that have many indegenous artifacts on display and see two of my friends who are First Nations peoples. One of them I know completed their vision quest years before and the other says that he is just starting his, which confuses me because I thought I was the only one. It dawn on me that this is now a race because if he obstains the items before I do than I will obviously be unable to collect those items. I do not tell him that I am also on my vision quest. They move on and I continue searching the display cases until I find a gold token, which I hope can be used to open a safe.

      Finding nothing more of unterest in the remaining rooms of that area I head back towards the wooden suspension bridges where the two elves are there and still watching me. They are having an argument about something and as I cross the bridge and walk past them, the Elrond looking elf grabs my arm, leans in and tells me tells me where to find the next safe and how to open it. I pull away, plug my ears and run because I am not supposed to recieve help from others and I don't want to get in trouble.

      Back on the ground floor though I go straight to the safe he told me about but it will not open. Nearby in a potted plant I find another gold token. I wander around some more and find an arts and crafts room that has a safe sitting on a table. Down the hall from this room is a women's bathroom and another safe. The safe on the table contains a coin operated locking system but which I put my two gold coins in, they are immediately spit out. Ayoung boy working on a craft in the room tells me that I need three tokens to open that safe and the the item and key inside will open the safe down the hall.

      Just then my friend who is also doing his vision quest walks in the room and inserts his three gold tokens into the safe which pops open and reveals a green jadestone medallion and another key. He then uses that key to open the safe down the hall and loudly declares that he has completed his vision quest. Several Elders and other people enter the room and congradulate him and they all walk out to celebrate somewhere. Just then the public announcment system plays a message that the facility is closing. I watch everyone in the building leave via the main exit, but I am crushed by my failure of the vision quest and I hide in a women's washroom that contains a lounge and cry.

      I suddenly have a backpack with me and I open it and find several key chains with lots of keys on it, some stones and shells, a picture of my first cat and various other random crap that seems pointless and meaningless to me because they would not have helped me on my quest anyway. Many hours pass and a cleaning man discovers me sleeping in the bathroom and alerts security. A friendly brown haired security man wakes me up and offers to drive me home. We hop into is light blue 1956 Ford pickup and drive through the country. I don't talk to him because I am very despondant and depressed. We approach some train tracks and despite the warning lights that a train is coming the security man just keeps on driving. I fear that we will be hit by the train but cross just before it does and it misses the truck by just a few feet.
