    1. Fear

      by , 01-27-2015 at 06:28 AM
      1. I started out walking through a small field inside a middle school. It was sunny and it was sometime around noon. I was walking towards a set of classrooms and stared around the area I was in. It wasn't until I looked up at the light blue sky when I slowly realized I was lucid. The feeling was intense. My mind slowly questioned itself whether or not the environment was real without doing any reality checks. I just sort of reminded myself how important it is to remember to question whether or not I'm dreaming.

When I became lucid, I immediately started speed walking towards the right side of the classroom building. I tried summoning a dream character but the dreaming started fading away. I used the spinning technique to try and stay in the dream but it didn't work out as I planned. Somehow the dream didn't want me to stay in it longer. I'm not even sure if I left the dream, though. As soon as my vision turned black, I still felt as if the dream was still going on, I just couldn't see it. It happened a couple more times the same morning.

      2. I was somewhere inside a dark abandoned building. All the lights were off and no one was nearby. I was scared. I didn't know what to do. I knew I had to do something quickly before anything came out of the dark and attacked me. That's when I figured out the solution. Though I'm not sure whether I was lucid or not at this point, I still managed to do what I planned on doing, in waking life, to light up the darkness. I extended my right arm back and reached out for a summoned flash bang grenade. I held it in my hand and threw it at the ground. As soon as it hit the ground, light started to appear. Not as much as I wanted there to be, but enough to get out of the building quickly.

When I climbed out of a window inside the room, I was standing on the roof of an average size apartment building. At that point of time, my lucidity went higher. I took advantage and summoned someone I've been wanting to meet. I extended my right hand back again and felt her hand. It was Sydney. She was wearing a different uniform this time. I pulled her out in front of me. She looked back at me and stared at me with a seemingly happy smile. Without saying anything to her, I extended my hand back again and summoned a sharp knife. I pulled out the knife in front of me and noticed it was way too long. It wasn't also the knife I wanted. I wanted a sharp, simplistic knife, one that looks like Micheal Myer's knife.

I extended my right hand out one last time and summoned one. This time I got the knife I wanted. I pulled the knife out in front of me and turned towards Sydney. It didn't seem to bother her that I had a knife in my hand. She was still smiling.

I grabbed the knife hard and aimed it towards her left lower part of her stomach. The knife went in to her skin as my body moved in closer to hers. The feeling of my knife going through her stomach was intense. I'm not sure how I can describe it. After stabbing her, the dream then slowly faded away.
    2. Plant regeneration - My first(?) lucid dream.

After a very long period of doing close to nothing but lurk on this website, I've been inspired to start being more diligent and active in this community. What sparked this notion is my first recalled truly lucid dream!

I went to sleep a little late last night, admittedly, and I did not do anything particularly different than usual. I took my usual bedtime dose of a B-100 complex vitamin and 100mg of 5-HTP (which I don't take primarily for lucid dreaming, but the vividness it brings is a nice side effect). The night before, I listened to about 15 minutes of a binaural lucid dreaming track, but I don't see how it could have an effect over 24 hours later... Could it?

I don't recall any dreams prior to waking up at 6AM to my cat licking my face and purring. After getting up and feeding him, I returned to bed.

Upon 'waking up' a second time, I noticed that I wasn't in my apartment anymore, but a house painted in deep blues and vivid golden-yellows. It looked like a magician's house. I thought, "I can't remember how I came to be here... Maybe I'm dreaming?" and decided to do the standard "finger through the opposite palm" reality check. My finger did not penetrate my other hand, but I was convinced that this wasn't a dream. Things became slightly more vivid and a little shaky, so I stayed very still until it stabilized for me. I decided to walk to the window and noticed that it was facing a sunlit ocean, like that of my former home. I was quite happy to see the familiar body of water. I now live on the mainland of my country, so I knew for certain that I was dreaming. My first thought was typical - "I'll try to fly!". It quickly resulted in my jumping up and landing on the floor with a thud. Oddly, my mind proceeded to the idea that I simply didn't have control over the proper elements (air, fire) for flying just yet, a concept that is reminiscent of those in a book series about modern witches that I loved.
Thinking along the same lines, I realized that if I had any power at all, it would be that of earth and water. To test my theory, I went to a shelf with several wilted potted plants on it. I placed my hands above the pots, and in sequence they began to come back to life as green light poured forth. I was very excited by this, to the point where I changed a nearly-dead rubber plant into a spectacular bright blue and tall amaryllis.
I was greatly enjoying this. I then thought that I would once again try to fly, and did my best to call on the other elements. I managed to hover above the ground, and then departed the small cottage by the sea to fly for some time. Unfortunately, things became kind of foggy as I flew above the ocean, and the scene changed. With this transition, I also lost my lucidity, though I recall the dream remaining fairly vivid (though not as pleasant). Interestingly enough, there were no dream characters in any of the lucid portion of my dreams...

I'm very excited to have had such a fascinating dream, and I feel it was truly a lucid dream as opposed to some very vivid ones I've had in the past. I hope to build on this experience by being more diligent with journalling, reality checks, etc.

    3. Competition night one Sat 24th Jan

      by , 01-25-2015 at 06:45 PM
      Dream one: Supermarket catacombs
Somebody is ill in a large traditional church building.
I call an ambulance, the person in the other end of the phone appears to be almost expecting the call and even knows the persons address, but I explain that the person is not at home but at the church. I go and try to spot the ambulance in case they don't know where to stop and see a variety of shops built into the edge of the church building, like a shopping arcade. I investigate behind the shops and find a large underground storage facility full of what looks like supermarket stock on dusty shelves with some yellow jacketed men shuffling around with clipboards and fork lift trucks. I snoop about a bit before realising I probably ought not to be here and heading back upstairs by means of a rickety old open lift somewhat reminiscent of warehouses in 101 films.

      Dream two: Naughty motorbiking
I'm on a dirt bike flying through streets and tunnels doing wheelies through large puddles and trying to skim over deeper water.
I get to the end of a tunnel and it opens out into a covered space on the bank of a river, it looks like this area is perhaps tidal or otherwise occasionally flooded with banks of sandy silt and puddles it feels a bit like the space under a pier or a large concrete pontoon. I carry on toward the bank of the river planning to use a RIB as a ramp to get over the river. At this point I think through the manoeuvre several times with variations as my dreaming mind is interrupted by the first flakes is lucidity. This repetition as my subconscious tries to decide how realistic the scenario needs to be to pass muster is a classic dreamsign and the lucidity grows until I opt to land in the middle of the river and sink down, enjoying the impossibility of breathing and riding a motorbike underwater. Unfortunately the darkness and minimal lucidity mean I lose the dream and wake up.

I reenter the dream but non lucidly (boo!) I'm back on the motorbike coming up to a backstreet industrial area with a variety of garage sized units each occupied by separate concerns, mostly #full of boxes, some appear to be running repair shops of various kinds.

I pull into one unit that apparently is where the bike belongs, but I get an uneasy feeling that these guys are up to nefarious activities and decide to go back out again. I see two motorbikes this time and realise a friend is with me and we head off to play in the streets and puddles again.

      Dream three: Lots of sex
That's about it really, an awkward succession of stilted and vague sexual encounters in which neither party was all that interested and both seemed to be putting up with it for the benefit of the other. Eventually we stop because it's getting a bit sore. Heaven knows what Freud would make of that dream...

Dream four: Tree in a car
Leaving a large modern church building en masse to go and have lunch together. This is not the same church as in the earlier dream. I decide to take a chair with me for stone train, it's exactly like one of my table chairs. I head directly through the nearest door rather than negotiate several internal doorways, explaining the logic to Andrew on the way past. I ponder how in going to get the chair on my bike as I've left my car behind today. I overhear Maddie taking to somebody about how he wouldn't let a tree grow in his car and I investigate the subject of the conversation, pulling a small tree out of the suspension of some numpty's car. Freud would probably claim the tree was sine kind of sexual symbolism in this dream, too, I expect...

I didn't prepare too much to try and achieve a lucid dream last night, not like this past week where I spent about an hour thinking about having one. I did have one last night after falling asleep a few minutes before 2 AM.

Like many other of my dreams, I was back home when I first realized I was dreaming. It was already dark out, which is one of the scariest moments I noticed in my dreams. I had this sudden urge of fear that haunted me while gazing around the parameter of my home. It was really dark and there was nobody else with me. I was alone and afraid.I knew there was something out to get me, but I just wasn't sure when or how they'll catch me. Something was bound to happen if I stood a little while longer.

I hovered above my backyard and noticed my neighbors backdoor lit up by a lamp just above the door. My first thought was to head there in hopes that I would find someone who could help me throw these feelings of creepiness away. I disapproved of it and immediately flew towards the side of the my house out towards the front yard. My flying abilities were weak at the time. I wasn't able to ascend to a higher position until I got enough run speed but as soon as I did, I quickly flew out of the backyard and landed on the front yard on grass.

I began to calm down a bit, though still a little scared about what might happen next. That's when I was reminded that there was one way I could make my fears go away. A meteor. I wanted to summon a meteor. I wanted a big ball of roaring fire to come hurling through earth and destroy everything and everyone in it. I raised my right hand up towards the sky and ordered the dream to give me that meteor. Moments later, the meteor came hurling down earth and big waves of fire came mowing down everything and everyone across my field of vision. What happened next is a mystery. I woke up to yet another dream(after waking up and falling asleep again).

This time I appeared to be inside my bedroom, along with both of my parents drunken out of their minds leaning against a wall while on the bed. I laid there right next to them, drunk as well. We were all just laying there having a good time until one of my dad's friends came walking in to the home for a visit. I didn't really want to talk to him at the time but seeing how I was drunk, I decided that perhaps I'll have a few good laughs and have a good night. I placed my drink down nearby and followed both my parents out the door. When I walked outside, I noticed two kids sitting on the couch watching television with my dad. They were my dad's friends. They looked bored out of their minds. I went up and talk to one of them but they didn't seem to care about what I had to say. It was a good think I was drunk, so it really didn't matter.

I then walked over to the kitchen where I see my older sister and mother. My mother was sitting at the table near the backdoor enjoying her drink while my sister was near the sink cleaning some of the utilities. At that moment, somehow, it struck me. I became lucid. I'm not sure how but, I felt this sudden urge to do something insane(one of them being too strange to type). One of the things I done second was to try and summon a dream character. Unknowingly, that's when the dream felt like it was slipping away from me. I immediately used the spinning technique to help me prolong my dream time. I turned around and around like a top as I felt the movements of my dream body move in a vibrating-like motion. It took a lot of spinning to get it to work. It wasn't until a few moments in when I felt amazed at how much this technique was working for me. It got even better. After a while of spinning, the dream started to fade a lot more quickly. It came to the point where I couldn't see anything. I started to panic and yelled out something like, "Keep me in the dream!" or something along those lines. I also spun quicker. It worked, surprisingly. I might have not lasted long after all that turning but it's definitely worth practicing with.

    5. Voice Recording Dreams and LD’s during the Night and Journaling in the Morning - Jan 17, 2015

      by , 01-18-2015 at 08:56 PM
In this dream I was at my parent’s house having breakfast. A close friend from my school years was sitting to the right of me and playing with pill container. I asked Gerald what the pills are for? He said, “I have to pee into this bottle.” Well, that was certainly odd, I thought. I hardly ever see this friend, now he’s sitting at my parent’s dining room table planning to pee in a bottle! I began to question if I was dreaming. I looked at my sister sitting across the table and my bother in-law. They certainly looked real. I looked around the dining room to see if anything was different. Everything was the same except there was a clock on the wall that said it was 6:00 Am. Now that was very certain a good, dream clue, because I usually sleep-in on the weekends. I decided to do some reality checks.

I looked at my hands and they were normal, but I still figured this was a dream, so I tried pushing my point finger through my left hand. My finger didn’t pass through. Hmmmm, this normally works as a reality check. I was determined to get some proof that this was dream, so I stood up and looked out the front window. There was a couple walking down the street with a husky on a leash. They looked almost normal, except the woman had a husky face! Yaaaaay, this is dream, I’m lucid!! When I turned around my ‘middle’ sister was suddenly sitting at the table. I smiled and said, “Hi!” I decided to do my lucid healing technique on her because she has lost partial vision in her left eye due to a neurological degenerative disease (in WL). The first step was to create healing light in my hands, and then concentrate it into an energy ball, and then push it into her eye, while saying a healing prayer. I cupped my hands, focussed on forming healing light, and then a white light started form, but then my vision started to go blurry. Darn, I’m losing lucidity. I then woke up and recorded the dream on my voice recorder.

I picked up a mini voice recorder on Ebay, and it’s amazing! I can now voice record my dreams during the night without having to turn lights on, write in my dream journal, and then totally wake up. In the morning I simply play the recordings and journal them. This has given me 9 dreams, plus 6 lucids, in two nights. I often forget many dreams and lucids because I don’t feel like waking up to journal them, and I usually wait until the morning to do this, at which point I can’t recall what happened. I just need a couple of words from the dream in order to remember them. I highly recommend giving this a try!

    6. Misterious being and imaginary DV's tasks

      by , 01-18-2015 at 03:43 PM
I was in my room, which was full of daylight. I had just woken up and I was going to get ready to meet a friend for breakfast. I could hear my mum and grandma talking in the corridor, but I didn't pay attention to them. I looked at my analog watch and it said it was around 3.20. I knew right away that I was dreaming. I looked at my hand and, sure enough, I had an extra finger between my middle and fourth finger. I caught a glimpse of my watch again, and this time it said it was 11.30. Then, I went to my desk, I wanted to make sure I remembered all the details of the RCs to explain them to my boyfriend, who recently took an interest in lucid dreaming (after hearing me talking about it so much). All of a sudden, I noticed a shadow behind me, turned around and saw a male figure standing there. He wasn't talking or doing anything, his expression was blank, but even so, he had startled me and I shouted: "don't scare me like this! Out, now!" As soon as I turned around again, he disappeared.

Then, I thought I'd get out of the bedroom and explore the dream. Before doing so, I remembered my mantras and said them out loud: "all of my dreams are lucid" and "I remember all of my dreams". After this, I thought it'd be a good idea to try out one of the month tasks from this forum. I was trying my hardest to recall them, and for some reason I thought one of the basic tasks was to get a pen and throw it at a DC to see how they reacted. So, I got a pen from my desk, opened the door and found my grandma talking to me. I threw it at her and after it hit her, she watched it fall without giving a crap about it and then went on talking.

I went back into the room, afraid I would oversleep and be late for breakfast. I checked the time on my phone (as though the time was going to be accurate), and it said it was 8.39 am. Apparently, I still had ten minutes until the alarm went off. I woke up for real soon after this, checked the time: 8.41 am.
    7. Entirely unexpected, it seems I have lucid dreams 100% of the time if i sleep in longer than should.

I once again found myself in school, in my american history class I looked down at what I was writing and saw my mangled hand and gibberish that I was writing.

      ************************************************** *****Lucidity Break********************************************* ********************

I stood up to my desk to leave the room when I found myself barred from leaving by my teacher who happens to share the same name as me I felt bad for this since I actually liked this guy IWL but I was not about to pass up the chance to explore the dream to sit at my desk in class. I grabbed him and he morphed into a hairless ten foot tall albino white alien, I started to find myself being overpowered. Thinking fast, I gave some leeway and as I swiveled toward the wall I swung with his force and planted both feet on it and pushed toward the windows on the far side of the classroom. We flew halfway across and I let my grip on his shoulders go, as he continued forward and flew through the window to his death. I turned towards my classmates and saw they were all mannequins with the same hair and clothes, alongside soulless black eyes. All their heads swiveled towards me and I freaked the fuck ouut "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" and twin geysers of flame erupted out of my hands and torched the room, I ran outside the door and found myself in some goth kids fantasy of a high school. I was vaguely aware that I was in the gym side of the school and walked around to explore the dream, eventually I found myself walking through the doorway into the stadium and was suddenly in a room in outer space. The walls were full of windows and the floor and ceiling were black carpet. I sat with some kids and watched space and smoked weed(an entirely unique experience in a dream) until i woke up.

    8. Imaginary Friends

      by , 01-11-2015 at 06:02 AM
I appeared to be somewhere inside a nice, clean suburban neighborhood. It was sometime around 10:00 Pm when it happened. I was with my mother, walking inside one of the suburban homes making sure things seemed alright. This home we were in was quiet, also lonely. It felt like a two story home, though we didn't get chance to walk upstairs while we were in there. Me and my mothers stuck together to make sure we don't get snatched or killed. We were walking around the living room, too fearful of the place. There were functioning lights but the only one on was inside the living room. I didn't know what lurked inside, it was unknown.

I then decided to grab a drink from the refrigerator standing in the living room. I walked up to it and opened the cabinet. What I found inside was a set of coke bottles. I took one of them and debated whether or not I should give one to my mom or not. I grabbed mine but before I even thought about getting one for my mother, I heard something inside the kitchen. I walked towards the kitchen, farthest from the entrance door, and stood there in the shadows for a moment. At that moment, I accidentally summoned someone, or something. I cautiously looked at one of the mirrors standing somewhere on the kitchen walls. In it I saw a ghostly figure, perhaps a demon - I'm not sure. This demon was staring at me. It wasn't trying to scare me or kill as I laid eyes on it, but I knew I had to get out of this place right then.

I shivered in fear and immediately rushed towards the entrance door straight away from where I was standing. My mother followed. I ran in to the dark, empty street and waited for my mother. From then on, my lucid powers kicked in.

I became lucid a few seconds after leaving the home. After noticing it, I quickly ran towards a field I saw standing right in front of the home. The field stood right there in front of the suburban homes like as entrance. I gradually flew towards this field and hovered as I was entering it.

When I finally entered the field, I landed in the middle of this small field surrounded by running race track. Beyond the race track was the most hugest field I have ever scene. It was almost like being inside a video game where the maps' that seemed to be miles and miles away. I stood standing there for a bit trying to think of something I could do while lucid. One of them was to get rid of the daunting night sky. I looked up at the sky and raised both my hands up in the air and demanded there to be light! The darkness then slowly began fading away being consumed by the sunlight that struck gradually from the suburban homes all the across the gigantic field. My fears were no longer there. My heart rejoiced, but wait, there was more.

After summoning light across the long field, I noticed several groups of people inhabiting the outer part of the field, just a few feet away from the race track. There were lots of them. Most stood in groups of about four and two. Everyone spoke among each other, admiring each others company. It was a lot like a high school reunion. There were only young individuals. I walked past these groups and appreciated their business being here with me. It's always good to see these amounts of people when lucid. It helps me develop a sense of curiosity among the dream world.

There was much to do now that I was lucid, but one of the things I've been wanting to do for a long time was to summon someone I know. I don't know them personally, nor have I ever met them. We are complete strangers. Her name was Sydney. She was the only person I could think about summoning at a time like that.

I extended my arms back as if I was going to handshake someone and waiting for Sydney to grab on to be. When I felt her hand at the tip of my fingers, I brought her up towards me and stared at her. I didn't throw myself upon her, I just held her in my hands and stood close in front of her as I gazed at her beautiful appearance being here with me. After that brief moment, I kept hold of her hand and moved along her left side. We both started walking towards a marching band standing just a couple feet from the race track.

    9. The Best Way to be Awakened (Jan 7, 2015)

      by , 01-09-2015 at 02:16 AM
In this dream I was at somebody’s house (not sure who or where). I was standing in a doorway to the living room, and to my surprise, my dear daughter went racing right by me, and then ran into the kitchen. I immediately became lucid (because my daughter’s in Heaven), and ran after her. When I reached the kitchen she was standing with her back to me, and then she turned around to face me. The clarity was perfect and vivid. She no longer looked like my daughter, but she was beautiful like my daughter, had short brown hair, and the biggest smile. I asked her, “Are you my daughter?”, and she excitedly answered, “You saw me!” Her voice was the same as my daughter’s, and I replied, “Yes, I saw you when you ran past me, now you look like somebody else?” I put my arms around her, hugged her, and then I said, “You look different.” My daughter softly replied, “Yes.” I woke, and then moments later my alarm went off.

    10. Travelling Through a Nebula and the Valley of Golden Temples (Jan 6, 2015)

      by , 01-07-2015 at 11:53 PM
In this dream I was at swimming pool play wrestling with an invisible dream figure. The objective was to throw the opponent into the pool, which didn’t have any water, just gymnastic crash matts. I had this dream figure in a headlock, but I was really struggling with the fact that this person was invisible. I put 2 and 2 together and realized, Bingo, I’m dreaming! I let go of the dream figure’s head and I stood up. The invisible dream figure never did appear. A couple of other dream figures, standing off to the side, asked me to follow them, so I did, and we went through a doorway into a hallway. The hallway went for about 20 feet then turned right. At the corner there was closet, and inside was 2 foot tall man standing on a bench talking to an East Indian man. I introduced myself to the small man first, and asked his name. He said, “___??___” (I can’t remember). I then asked the East Indian fellow his name, but I couldn’t understand what he said because of his accent and his name was totally foreign to me. I just nodded and pretended I understood his name. The East Indian guy then asked me to leave because “___??___” (the short guy) was helping him out with something. I apologized for interrupting, and I continued on down the hallway, but my vision started to fade to black. I started to swirl to bring back my vision, and I was saying, “Somebody, please help me!” Somebody answered, “I don’t know how to help you.” I asked them to grab my hand and swirl with me, but they didn’t answer. I swirled faster, and faster, and faster!

Stars started to appear around me, faintly at first, and they then gradually increased in clarity until I found myself floating in a dramatic view of space. It feels so strange to be floating in space, kind of a mixture of excitement and loneliness. I could feel the sun beating on my back so I turned around to face it, and I momentarily saw its brightness, but then a black disc moved in front of it. I looked away and decided to repeat what I did, but really fast. Sure enough, it was the sun! And once more a black disc quickly moved in front of it so it was hidden. Interesting? That gives me a good explanation why I rarely see the sun in LD’s. I could see the Milky Way arching across space, and decide to fly at high speed right at it, and soon a pinkish nebula came into view, and then I came to complete stop to admire it. Wait, what’s that? I could see outlines of several human bodies against the pink nebula, distorting the nebula just enough, that I could see them. It appears some dream figures decided to accompany me on my journey. I’ve never been in a Nebula before, so I decided to fly right through it at high speed. The nebula never really became clearer as I flew through it (not what I expected), if anything it lost its vibrancy, but I could feel the particles hitting my body, like standing in a sand storm, and the impacts were luminescing reddish blue. This gave a cool visual effect on my arms!

Off in the distance I could see a planet, and I slowed down for a controlled entry and landing (Don’t fly full speed into a planet!). The planet looked like something from the movie Dune. It was covered in desert and mountainous rocky outcroppings. Below I could see some gold structures, so I flew in for a closer look. When I fly, I usually do the ‘Superman’ with my arms down, but as I approached these golden structures I started to fly in a standing position. It’s a more relaxed position for viewing, but does look a bit odd, no doubt (as one dream figure told me in previous LD). The gold structures were actually golden temple domes sticking out above the sand dunes in a mountainous valley. There was a natural rock archway extending from the side of mountain, which I flew through as I entered the “Valley of Golden Temples”. I discovered this place, so I’m giving it a name – lol. There was a woman in a flowing dress standing on one of sand dunes and she watched me as I flew by. I should have landed beside her, and asked her what this place was, but I wanted to get a closer look at these golden temple domes sticking out of the sand. Then I could hear East Indian style ancient music playing all around me, with singing to match. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve heard anything like it. I landed on a sand dune, beside a golden dome, and there was warm colored light coming out from openings immediately below the dome. The sand was right up to these openings. Everything quickly faded, and then I woke. I really wanted to go inside!

    11. Wishing my Daughter Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (Jan 6, 2015)

      by , 01-07-2015 at 10:26 PM
In this dream, I was sitting in a bus with my dad, and I gave him a big, long hug, and shortly after I fell asleep in his arms. I woke up (in the dream), behind the same parked bus, holding a bicycle pedal sprocket. I had no idea how I went from sleeping in my dad’s arms in the bus to being awake behind a parked bus holding a sprocket, but anyway, I went with it. I put the sprocket down on the ground, and then it morphed into a bike frame and sprocket. Okay, I get it! I’m definitely dreaming – Lucid again!!! I picked up the bike frame, and I was surprised at how light it felt, and added the wheels, seat, and handle bars (by thought), and then I jumped on it to go for a ride. One problem, my feet couldn’t reach the pedals! This didn’t stop the bike from taking off down the road though, so I only had to steer it, because it was powered by dream magic. I hadn’t seen my daughter in a few days in a LD, so called out for her, “Daughter, where are you, I’m lucid!” I repeated this over and over as I rode the bicycle down the street. I came to bridge crossing a small brook, and on the other side I could see some girls sitting on the front steps on a brick apartment block. I figured one of them must be my daughter! But without warning, the dream went completely black, but I laid perfectly still in bed to try and recover it.

What happened next wasn’t a typical LD re-entry for me, because the dream instantly came back perfectly vivid and clear. It was like somebody opened the theater curtains. There were three girls sitting on a motorcycle right in front of me, and I was also sitting on a motorcycle. The girls were all looking at me giggling and smiling. I asked if one of them was my daughter. One of the cuties spoke up and said, “No.” Sometimes my daughter appears in my dreams as someone or something else, so I always check before I assume. Then I could feel somebody sitting snuggled right up behind me on my motorcycle, and their chin was resting on my left shoulder. I asked if she was my daughter, and she said, “Yes!” I spun my head around to face her, and it was totally her to the finest detail! I instantly told her I loved her, and I wished her Merry Christmas and Happy New Year because I hadn’t remembered to do so in an LD up until this point. It’s much more special when you can do this face to face. We then took off on our motorcycles down the street, but the dream started to fade, so I began to swirl. Strangely the motorcycle, my daughter and I, were all swirling together, and unfortunately I woke up. Cruising on motorcycles would have been a lot fun!

(I went to sleep in a car on the way out of state.)
I dreamt woke up in my bed at night, the room was exceedingly bright even though in my heart I knew it was night time. I did the hand RC and my fingers were growing in weird angles.

      ************************************************** ****Que: Lucidity****************************************** **********************
I took a moment to observe how I think while dreaming and found it shockingly similar to waking life, I had lucids before but none had ever come to this level of clarity. I live in the basement so it came as a shock when I opened my door and came out on the front lawn. I walked through a town that looked nothing like mine and explored the world around me(especially touching the concrete walls and looking at how much detail they had). I walked to my high school and found out that it is in the same relative location as waking life which was weird since i did not recognize anything else. Standing at the corner to drive into the student parking lot was my dream guide Morpheus(Aren't I lucky?). He ushered me into the school and said that he could not follow. I explored the school and to my surprise I had my school laptop by my side without ever remembering to bring it. Then a tall fat kid came and tried to bully me by stealing it. I felt the emotional response of rage even knowing that this was a dream, and so I grabbed him, and ate his soul dementor style(sans kiss thankfully there was SOME distance). I explored some more and found an abandoned janitors closet, at this point shit went down and all the lights in the school dimmed to a dark red and blood painted the walls. Instantly I thought of the demo to silent hill P.T and my subconscious (bless/curse its soul) decided to go with my expectations and made a baby cry in the closet(I could only see through a crack in the doorway. I then heard my dreamguide's voice saying "I know the only me is me, are you sure the only you is you?" I thought wryly to myself My subconscious and I are the same and different, and the only you is NOT you since you are a part of me. I turned around to fast to walk in the other direction and found myself in an accidental scene change. Now my friend Jacob sat in a dark office with me but he was different. He had sharklike teeth and pure black eyes. I rolled mine and said "Now what the fuck are YOU supposed to represent." "I am everything you hate about yourself." he replied darkly. That confused me as there was nothing similar between me and my friend from school but I had just got off the phone with him when I dozed off so maybe that was it. I was like "Hah no I don't have the time to deal with nightmares, you do realize this is MY dream right? I can obliterate you with just a thought." He grinned challengingly at me and I found my powers not working. I laughed at the audacity of my subconscious and overpowered it through aggressive control if passive would not do it. I went into tiger stance like Udyr from league of legends laid the smack down hard. After I was finished pummeling him I went out of the school and walked on the road out of town, thinking about philosophical questions, deep meanings, and the nature of my reality that was around me. Eventually I woke up and opened my laptop to write this down.

      "Once the Sun Goes Down..."
      (Lucid)

I was in a supernatural town, where everything apparently goes ape-shit, after dark. (Think 'Silent Hill''.) People turn into zombies; monsters come out to prowl - the whole nine.

My first experience with this town was absolute horror. Everyone around was sporadically transforming into Nightmare Creatures, and it seemed as if they were fixated on me. I was constantly on the run, with a new 'breed' of monster popping up around every other corner. I came to be sprinting through the high, balcony walkways of a massive castle when I was confronted by some sort of 'spinning wheel of death'. It radiated red and orange sparks and whizzed through the air like a large Frisbee, ricocheting off of the walls and stone surfaces as I ducked and dodged out of its way. Shortly after escaping this disc, I began to hear thunderous footsteps approaching me from behind. Something big was coming. I ran faster through the hall, trying to put as much distance between myself and those giant footsteps as I could.

      Then, the dream reset.

I don't know if I was eventually killed by something, or what, but the dream suddenly zapped me back to sundown, and to the very start of this town's hellish transformation. This time, though, I was aware fact that my experience had just started over, and that it wasn't simply Deja Vu. I realized that this was a dream! Again nightfall came, and again, the populace of this city turned to hideous, blood-thirsty monsters.

This time, though, I was able to tear through the beasts with little resistance, acting as a warrior god among these now-harmless hordes. Utilizing mostly telekinesis and simple energy blasts from my hands, and following pretty much the same path as I had previously taken through this world, I was soon back up in the castle, confidently (and whimsically) fighting my way through the hallways and back onto the balcony. Just as before, I saw the 'spinning wheel of death', however, this time, it was inactive. It looked to be just a rickety, old sewing wheel with blades set around it, propped up against the balcony, but it lacked the glowing, rotating element of 'surefire death' that it had, the last time I saw it.

Then, those booming footsteps returned, just as before. Instead of running, though, I turned back to face their origin, surprised to see Thanos, of all people, stomping his way toward me. Even while lucid, I hesitated to rush at my mental projection of an advancing Thanos, so I took a flying leap off of the balcony and dove all the way down to the ground level. The titan followed suit and landed directly behind me. We then began a sort of cat-and-mouse down the side of the mountain upon which the castle rested. Even though I was lucid, I was admittedly on the defensive, but I was doing a good job of blocking and dodging his rushing attacks as he pursued me down the mountainside.

The chase was the last thing I remember.

      "Social Slug"
      (Lucid)

I was swimming in a lake or pond, and I could see a large, unfamiliar creature nearby. I couldn't get a good look, at first, but finally saw that it was a long-face creature that, aside from its exaggerated snout, looked like a big, green manatee with triangular, spinal protrusions on its back. It was very docile and social, swimming around idly and playing with everyone. Overall, it was about the size of a full-grown hippo; large enough to come from beneath someone and toss them in the air, playfull, and into the water. We were all having a great time with it. Over time, though, we could see it becoming more and more 'clingy'. It didn't want to let anyone swim away, or take their attention from it. It would follow as all relentlessly, until we managed to slip away.

Later, still hanging out in a wooded / park area (it seemed like a campground or something), we did some level of research on this thing; on our phones, I believe, and saw that it was some kind of mutated sea slug or something. We eventually found another, smaller version of the slug. This one was much more lively, and running and from person to person and trying to get everyone to pet it. Then, even more surprisingly, the zippy little slug revealed that it had the ability to speak. I believed the thing to be alien (and I think, at one point, it told me it was, but I'm not sure on that one).

We played with this little guy for a little while longer, and over the course of this time, the slug continued to talk about him and his kind - about how they grow to be such 'loving' creatures. I said the other slug was more "clingy" than "loving". This little one said that he was much different. And, for a moment, it seemed like he was. But..then it was time to leave.

He began following us. We would look back and gesture and hint that it was time for us to be parting ways. He was having none of it, and would faithfully follow every step we took, continuing to banter on like our visit had just begun. Once we got to our canoe, though, his entire behavior change. He became manic and aggressive, demanding that was stay and starting to scamper around, enraged. By the time we got about a dozen feet from the dock, the slug shot into the air and then dive-bombed our canoe, bouncing around it like a ricocheting bullet and capsizing it, dumping us into the water.

Finally, soaking wet and chest deep in this water, I realized that this was all a dream. Instead of swimming, I attempted to levitate myself out of the water, but the dream quickly unraveled, here, and I woke up.

    15. Lucid Dream Character Testing

by , 12-28-2014 at 04:25 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
Laying in bed, I'm partially aware of some outdoor scene at CSU, as well as my body laying in bed. I can see both scenes, and know that the outdoor scene is just a dream. I focus on the outdoor scene where my friend is standing far away across a few benches and trees. As I continue to pay attention to the dream, I am suddenly in the dream fully. It feels a bit unstable, like I could wake up at any moment. I call out to my friend, and he responds just like he does while in the waking world. I walk over to him, but he doesn't have a whole lot of other responses in this dream character. I talk to him a bit, and he doesn't answer at all, he just looks at me blankly for a bit and starts to turn away. I know it's a dream, so I decide that maybe his role is just long distance shout-greetings. I walk about 30 feet away and yell out to him again. He responds as usual. That definitely appears to be the case here. I yell out various versions of 'hey! and hello!' and get a great genuine seeming response each time. Just a little weird how repetitive it is.

Bored with his limited responses, I go into a nearby building, which turns into a clothing store. Not interested much in buying clothing, especially not in a dream, I instead try to find some girls to talk to. There are a lot of girls in this store, but they are all ignoring me and walk away as I walk up to them, even as I say 'hello'. I go up to one of them and step in front of her so she has to see me and tell her that her scarf is pretty awesome because it's the best color blue that exists. She smiles, thanks me and turns away. I still know it's a dream, and decide that this must be some sort of belief I have about people that doesn't seem to be helping with anything. If this is indeed a belief I have on some level, I am now determined to get rid of it.

Suddenly, the dream changes completely, and seems completely real. I forget that I'm dreaming. A girl gets on my shoulders and I give her a piggy back ride. I don't know where, I just walk as we talk to each other. She sounds nice, but I have no idea who she is. Eventually, we reach a large room where lot of people are sitting on the floor. I set her down and we both sit on the floor as a video is played on the wall in front of everyone.
