    1. One of the strangest nights yet.

      by , 09-16-2012 at 02:00 AM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
I'm writing this entire night a second time, because I accedently pushed 'Back' on this page after I wrote it the first time(rage). So, I'll start out by saying that I have definitly had some strange dreams. We've all had some pretty strange dreams. Dreams are of the nature of being strange usually, but last night I honestly don't know how they got so out of the ordinary. There were about six to ten different scenes in total, I'll start with the first I remember.

The first scene began in some sort of fantasy land. It was night time, but the night time here glowed. The glowing setting of this place was a dark shade of blue, it was peaceful. My body was in the form of a centaur. But not only did I have the four legs of a horse, I had a pair of wings on my back as well. This dream had a great deal to do with magic, although I don't remember what I was trying to accomplish with magic per say. All I really recall fondly is that I was a flying centaur, and that is badass.

The second dream was in a fancy room. The walls were red, and the carpets, plants, and sofas matched it well. Also there were a few nice paintings along the wall that I noticed. My sister and a few of her friends were sitting on one of the couches talking as I lucidly flew around the room inspecting it. I wanted to continue the scenes, so I made a door in the wall and told everybody to follow me. I didn't know where the door led to, I wanted it to suprise me. So I opened it and walked into the hall way of a mall. On the right side was a marble wall and then a corner that went into the main sections and on the left was a wall made of glass that allowed you to see outside. I don't think this dream continued any longer- it shifted to another scene.

My sister and I walked out of our house with our dog, Chiquis. We walked across the street and said hello to our niece. We talked to her for a bit and let Chiquis walk around the grass. There were a few dogs walking around as well that I didn't notice before. They started to surround Chiquis and sniff her. She gets really nervous around other dogs, and she looked scared shitless to be frank. I was in a sort of strange half lucid state at this point, so I grew out my claws and fur and grew a few inches. I walked towards the group of dogs surrounding mine and let out a menacing growl that sent them running in all directions. Then I picked my baby Chiquis up and pet her for a little while. She liked my fury form. Here's where the dream became extremely... out of the ordinary. I'm not sure how this all happened.

People, turned into things that weren't human. I still considered them normal people in the dream, but everyone I encountered now had bodies shaped as dirty mounds of moving flesh. Their skins were all shades of green and brown and their anatomy's just did not make sense, it's so hard to explain. There was a couple walking down the sidewalk in front of me. Their grotesque blob-bodies where formed into one body with two heads when they were happy with each other, but when they began to fight their bodies would seperate. The male's mouth was in sections of four, and opened and closed in all different angles when he talked; and the female's mouth was came out of her face long and skinny with tiny lips at the end. They talked like normal people, acted like normal people- but everything was weird. The buildings around me were strange and flesh looking. Some went up for miles, others were regular size. They all had wholes and isles like a huge building of large entrails. Still walking down the sidewalk, I began recieving the feeling I was in danger- something was following me. I knew what it was in the dream, but now that I think of it I had no idea really. I began turning corners and picking up my speed when I stopped, almost running into a large neon orange fox shaped creature. The creature was probably the size of my livingroom, and had the body of shaped like a fox. But it didn't have fur, just solid bright mass. It's eyes were red, but not at all sinister. And it talked to me in my head. It's own head so so beatiful, but I can't imagine any way that I could explain it's shape right. The front of it's head had the eyes and nose in place, in the front- but the head was large, and it went back a good length. It was almost a cone shape going backwards, but the shape was made out of a large clump of curling and tethered orange tendons. I jumped on it's back and held on. It had the ability to run on any surface, straight up, straight down, upside down- you name it. We ran through twisting caverns and tunnels of the flesh like buildings I meantioned before, she went so fast. I couldn't hardly keep up with the way she moved. Her voice was soft and calming. She was a good pet.
"So, I couldn't help but notice your horns. Are you one of the demon folk around here?" She asked me. In the dream, for some reason in that moment I was one of the beings they called demons in the city. But in this strange "Ugly Americans" sense. It seemed like the more grotesque you were here, the cooler you were. "Yeah, that's me." I replied. I was having a hard time thinking of conversation at the speeds we were going. We finally got to the complete other side of the town, and she let me off. "Thank you so much." I said. And she jumped away.

The next dream was vivid and horrific, almost like a nightmare but not really. Now everything looked like this world. There was no distortion, it was vivid and realistic. I was walking through a very dirty and runned down area. It looked like a ghetto, but like... a ghetto after the apocolypse had happened or some shit. It was just wrecked. I was walking down an alley, and started seeing corpses here and there. They were rapped up in white tissues, almost like mumification, but less tactful. The body count increased, soon there were piles of these wrapped up bodies. I came upon a giant lot. It looked like a meat farm, but all of the hanging meats were human bodies. More of the bodies that I'd seen, all wrapped up in white material. Some of them were alive I noticed. There were a few workers in the lot, and they formed a twisted lotto game. They'd roll the numbers, and the body that had the same number got their wraps cut off. They got to run away if they were still alive. It was a strange and intensely disturbing scene, mostly because of how calm everyone was with it; other than the people who were wrapped up and hanging upside down.

I ran out into the street and saw my wife and friends, and Tom Cruise(!?). The mood of the dream changed dramatically and I randomly became lucid. I didn't know why Tom Cruise was there, but I went along with it. He had a narley car, and they wanted to go off and do something. My friend Nick jumped in the drivers seat. I motioned my hand up, and he was lifted up in the air and landed in the back seat. "Ahah, dibs." I said and flew into the drivers spot.
"Don't worry Tom, if I wreck your car- I'll fix it." I said, and took off much to fast to be safe in traffic. One part of me wanted to be safe and calm in the car, the other half just wanted to bust it's horse power. So we took off, swearving in and out of the legal peramiters of the road. I remember lastly pulling into a parking structure and everyone getting out. I'm not sure where the dream went after that, but altogether- it was a memorable night.

I had a false awakening once, and sat in bed listening to my brother Jeremy talk to his mom outside of the room. (I was spending the night) But then I woke up shortly after.
    2. My pregnancy made me lucid.

      by , 09-14-2012 at 06:33 PM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
I don't remember much of the scenes before this, but I do remember one time when a women was asking me- when my baby was coming? So... I think I know where this part came from. Just a day ago I was remembering the day my niece was born. My sister was driven over to the hospital but I was too hung over to get up. But before baby came I got up and rode my bike all the way to the hospital. That was one of the worst bike rides ever, but it was worth it when I got there.

Anyways, I was in the back seat of my mother and father's car. I was... about to have a baby. All I could think about is, something doesn't seem right. I'm prepared to have this baby, but they're gonna have to do a C section because guys shouldn't fucking have babies! In this dream world, it was less common for guys to have babies, but it could happen. Then I began to think to myself... I know absolutely nothing about this or how the procedure is done. That doesn't seem like me, I would have already read everything there was to know about it. Then I slowed down, "Wait a minute." I said to my parents. If this was actually happening... I would be able to remember doctos apointments, and all of this information that I would have learned. I was completely unnaware of this shit.

"OH THANK GOD!" I yelled to the front of the car. I motioned my hand at the car in front of us and the back end was lifted off the ground, then fell back down. "I'M DREAMING. PHEW! I'm not pregnant, I'll catch you guys later. This is a weird dream." I said to them. We were driving through a grassy area for some reason, but I flew out of the window and up into the air. I decided to fly right in front of my parents car for fun, they were driving so damn fast and turning a lot. I looked around and found that this grassy area was just a small island. I mean, small. Maybe the width of a football field. I started flying around in circles over the island getting my speeds down. I then noticed an airplane also circling the island. I went a bit higher and flew next to the airplane.
Then I started playing abound with loops, it's incredible to experience flying in vertical loops. The world spinning around you is so fascinating.
I got bored, and before I left just to excersize my power- I crunched the right wing of the plane in mid flight. Sorry passengers, you're not real enough for me to mind.
I started flying away looking for things, and what happened next will blow my mind for a long while. I came up onto this huge green field, with a whole city of old asian architecture. The weird thing is... I've seen this exactly place down to the placements of the buildings at least three times in a lucid dream. I flew over it, wishing I could draw it in real life to show people. I'm not a good artist. I looked in another direction, there was a huge (I mean huge) mansion. It looked like a royal mansion, sparkling colors and all. I wondered what I would find in that place. There were so many doors, who knows. I'd seen that mansion before, but in a different lucid dream. I've never went in. But that didn't stop me, I kept going until I reached one other dream scene that I knew so very well. I flew over a park area, with a few ball courts. I noticed someone had lost their ball so I materialized a new one and chucked it down towards them. "Here!" I yelled from the air. I flew down to the ground, into a non-lucid dream that I had a few weeks ago. But this time, it was way fucking cooler- because I could cheat.
I knew this part was coming. "Hey, we need an extra- do you play football?" One of the big guys said. "Not so much football, but I play it's cousin rugby." I answered on queue. "Alright, good enough. You're up!"
So back to this game I was. I wanted to try a few things though. Someone passed the ball to my direction. I'm terrible at catching things, so I made it come to my hands right in the touchdown. Everyone was pumped, I seemed to be really good. I wanted to experiment with energy shields. That seems like it would come in handy in some kinds of dreams. The ball was again tossed up in he air, I made a case of blue energy around my body. Confident enough in that, I made anouther one appear right where the ball was coming down over the enemy team. The ball bounched off it like I planned, and landed smack dab back into my hands. This was great. lol.

This is where I stopped remembering. I think my WBTB alarm went off. The night was a success.
    3. Suited up. (Lucid)

      by , 09-13-2012 at 06:33 PM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
I'll record the dreams that came before these when I get home from work, but I'm just so pumped about this one I had to write it down. So my brother Jeremy and I were hanging out down the street from his house having a cigerette. For some reason I remember we weren't wearing shirts, we looked like white trashy corner dwellers in a ghetto or something now that I think of it. But I think in the dream it was just hot and made no difference.

A black guy came up and was standing about ten feet away from us for some reason, he too was just hanging out near the corner. Then a girl walked by that Jeremy knew so he started talking to her. I could tell he liked her, it was his playfully bossy attitude type. He followed her down the street a bit, then we went inside. I noticed there was quite a bit of commotion. The house we were in didn't look much like his, more like my brother Jason's house in shape. I realized after a few moments that our friend Aaron was getting ready to have his wedding! Me and someone else were sitting in a very small room having a conversation, when Aaron walked in with a tuxedo as if he were hiding from someone. I said "Congradulations dude, I didn't even know you were getting married! What are you doing?"
He smiled and said thanks but quickly darted out saying "No time-". Just as he darted out his bride darted in. This was a little bit weirder because her dress was so big and there were already two people in the tiny room, but we kept up the good mood. We asked her, what's going on? She said Aaron and her were dodging in and out of rooms today trying to not let Aaron see her. It's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. We laughed and talked a bit. I went to the restroom. Here's where I became lucid.

I was in the restroom, I clenched my nose together- and could still breath. (I am loving these reality check results). I instantly became lucid, and called out "I am lucid! I need clarity!", and I rubbed by hands together. Then I ran my hands across the counter of the sink. It was so real. So I began to think about what I was going to do. I noticed in the mirror that I was thoroughly underdressed. I had a great idea. I waved my hand over my body and was dressed in a brilliant fucking tuxedo. I kept waving my hand over it making it absolutely custom, taking out some tads here and there. I kept waving my hand my tie, I wanted the color to be right. I tried red, yellow, blue, striped, it was incredible. I was having fun with this dressup.
I left the bathroom and my dream scene changed.
Back at my house. I wanted to show off my dream skills to my parent's characters for shits and giggles. I said here mom, let me give you a hand with that (while she was preparing lunch in the kitchen). I made the chicken she was about to grab float over to the cutting board. She wasn't impressed. lol.

My family's friend Lenny was over. I said, Lenny check this out. I made a pack of 50 water battles float up into the air and start spinning. I continued playing with things in the air for a while. Then... I walked outside. This is where it went bad. My subconscious thought I had been lucid long enough, so it decided to scare me into false awakening over and over again.

I walked outside and a girl began talking in front of me. She was a dream figment saying "Once a person has been conscious too long in here, they're never let go." And I began to see other people that began half materializing in front of me, as if they were other dreamers stuck in the dream world. I panicked and woke myself up. I woke myself up into another dream. But I knew it this time, I was used to these kinds of false awakening. I woke myself up another time into another false awakening. Almost panicking then, thinking I was stuck, I gave one last burst of energy to my conscious mind and finally woke up. Great dreaming session, just a strange ending.
    4. Short LD, BBK, Kanye West

      Dream 1 (Lucid)

I was straight away lucid and it was night time in the dream again. My last 3 lucids have been at night time. During my dream incubation recently I have been preforming with Boy Better Know. So I was standing on this field and I decided when I turn round there will be a place where Boy Better Know are preforming. I believed this and when I turned round there was indeed a nightclub. I was happy and decided to walk straight through the doors. But it wasn't letting me. It kinda turned into 3rd person however I couldn't see my body and every time I tried to walk through, it flashed black like a scene transition in a game/movie. It wasn't letting me through and I started losing lucidity. So I started spinning and I then it just faded. This dream was not a very vivid one, it was quite hazy.

      Dream 2 (Non Lucid)

I can't remember this much. I remembered it fully in the morning though. I was at an airport toilet and I was scared of flying. I then remember going down steps and there was a women who was dressed as Kanye West and was pretending to be a wax model. I had a photo with this Kanye and I pulled this silly pose which was smiling stupid and pointing up at Kanye.

    5. Alien Encounters, False Awakening and general LC experience

      by , 09-11-2012 at 09:27 AM
So this is my first post to my Dream Journal.

I have many dreams each night, all of which I remember. Sometimes its LC, but haven’t quite gotten to the point of developing skills for exploring it. But each dream always leaves quite an impression on me.

Last day I went to bed around 11, after taking some ZMA. This drug helps me restore muscle tissue better after intense workout which I did yesterday, also its known for causing vivid dreams. Also had a tool for android that register REM state through motion, and is making me aware during sleep.

Found myself drifting in and out through different states of dream places during the first 1-2 hours during night. Like almost awake and yet deeply emerged into the dream plane. During this time I had all sorts of dream scenes that I experienced such as; Dystopia society – dark and batman like with akira (comic book) sense to it. Fighting monsters and saving my family. Another dream im an aviator having insane air battles in a small room, became aware here for a short time and tried to control the environment. During these different dream scenes I would awake between each, but not in my bed, but simply awake someplace in another dream - where I would also lay someplace and listening to some music.. Notices that the playlist had small soundtracks to it.. Noticed some named aviation thing, another an apple (inventor) thing... Saw different ones, but kept falling in.. Didn’t quite remember all of the smaller dreams.

There was a dream theme throughout the dreams though, the characters that were present to me, was part of my family and known people in different senses.. But they all seemed different - strange and kind of creepy. Kept having doubts and sort of got aware of my dream state through that notion.. But dreams just kept on going.. I then had a huge gap of forgotten dream, until a point were I am in my apartment with 8-10 family members. They all seemed strange and at that time I started to become more and more aware that I was dreaming, kept shouting at em' that I wanted the truth of who they were and that I was aware of them as being a dream character.

Then suddenly the dream took quite a dramatic turn. The people gathered in a small group and said to each other that they had to take action or something similar. And the next thing that happens, they disappear and I hear the ground shaking. I run out to my porch and look out over the water to the other side of the lake. And saw a HUGE spaceship, more intense and unimaginable that ive ever seen in a movie, take off. leaving the other side of the city filled with smoke and debris. The water started rising and soon found the yard and roads filled with 2 meters of water.. Rescue teams were sent for us, and first of I refused to leave my animals and started to pack.
Called my family which were in another part of the country, asking what is going on. I remember at that time that I took a picture of the spaceship, and send the picture to them. From this point on, I packed more.. neighbors came and we finally left my apartment, while the sky and surrounding were filled with water and a scary visual impressions..

Then the alarm clock woke me up.. Took me quite some time to realize what had just happened.. still kinda confused right now.
    6. Lucid dream house

      by , 09-09-2012 at 03:11 PM (Exterminate)
So first I remember me, my brother, my mom, and my dad in a car, going down a highway, at night. We were like the only ones there. This car seems pretty new, and has 3 buttons on the roof in back. Me being curious, I press one, making the car go nuts, and a cop car and fire truck turn their lights/sirens on, and I think it is my fault. They rush past us, so I guess it is unrelated, but my dad who is driving pulls off into an exit assuming he will get pulled over. When they go past him, he gets back on the highway but says something to the effect of "Damn it, I lost him. I have never lost a suspect in my _ years of this job.." So I assume he is like a cop as well? He goes in the general direction much faster, but there is like this bridge, half there. After about half way, there is just nothing, as if a world is not loading chunks on minecraft. There are these guards with rifles standing on either side, and my dad asks them if they saw anything, which they reply that they didn't. My dad replies "Stupid guards!" then looks into the void in front. I see like 12 tornadoes form in front, and engulf the guards, mom, my bro, and my dad. I guess it overtook me too.

Next thing I remember I am lucid seeing a little girl, walking beside my dad, with another older girl walking in front. Turns out that little girl is me. I then take place of the girl, yet I am wearing my waking life's clothes. I recall looking forward at our house, and it is fairly sized and wonderful. We live in a mobile home in real life, so this was quite a change. I age myself a bit because I don't want to be some little girl, so I turn around 14-16. I look around the house and I love everything I see, big living room, looks like we are just moving in. I remember seeing this room with a bunch of stuff scattered about, and realize this must be my dream dad's office. Instead of helping I decide to explore, and walk outside the room into the living room. I figure I may as well watch some tv, see what my mind can make of it, but just then my bro-wait, sister? grabs the remote and says "I am going to test watching memories on tv." She changes the channel and thinks of a memory, but nothing happens, it just changes normally. I say "I can do this." and take the remote, think of when my cousin had a sleepover at our house once, and hit random numbers on the remote, expecting my memory to show up..It didn't, just normal programming. I make another attempt, and it doesn't work either. I get a little depressed, and change the channel back to what it was before. What I see is some fitness paid programming, except the girl in it is showing her breasts, which doesn't interest me, I guess because I was a girl.
I remember in the office thinking "I wish I could take pictures and see this in real life." We all went outside, and I looked back at the house, thinking that top room must be my oldest sister's room, if only I could take a few pics, then my mom is in the car, ready to go, and my dad calls her susan, which was real strange to me, as that is not her name in real life.. My oldest sister, which I guess is my mind's representation of my oldest brother, was seated in the car, in a dress, my older bro was in the back seat, my dad driving, and my mom in the passenger seat. I do not recall when I put on a dress, I guess a little after the age change, but my oldest...sister, tells me "Where did you get that dress, it looks a little small. Unless it just 'appeared' in your closet one day which happens to me a lot." Another comment she said was "Ugh, can't wait to rent out my room and get my own place." The dream ended somewhere in the car.

Last comments: I remember my look as a little girl, I was blonde, with long hair, no freckles. My older sister had the appearance of an emo girl, with a piercing in her lip, straight black hair, quite attractive. Also, in my dream we were all skinny, instead of overweight we are in real life. Also, I remember using the hand rubbing technique when in the living room, and other various times to increase my senses, it actually worked.
Is it normal to feel sleep paralysis/vibrations in dreams? Because I felt it for a moment as I was rubbing my hands.

    7. An interesting development

      by , 09-06-2012 at 10:24 AM
I was in a lucid dream the other night, flying through streets filled with lights. I was being followed by someone, he was wearing green. I went into a building and got into the elevator. I didn't want my follower to join me so he turned and ran away. I pressed the button to go to the basement, but when the doors opened I was in an upper floor office. I decided that I wanted to fly so I jumped out the window. For some reason I had a hard time maintaining flight and headed for the ground, slowely. I closed my eyes in the dream and concentrated a bit harder. When I opened my eyes I was in the air again. I should point out that for me it's very unusual to lose control like that. It was night and I started flying over a small park then the very strang thing happened. I started feeling a sort of strange, I'm not sure how to describe it. It's a bit like the inner ear vibration you feel when you yawn, or when you concentrate really hard on your ears. Anyway it didn't feel right so I just woke up.
    8. Lucid success for a moment!

      by , 09-06-2012 at 01:58 AM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
The lucid part of this dream didn't last as long as I wanted it too, but it was so refreshing. The dream setting started out pretty interesting- this is an old T.V. show so I don't know if anyone will understand the reference. There was a Jackie Chan Adventures themed fight going on in my back yard that led to my lucidity this time. Before going to sleep, I was thinking a lot about that show hoping to maybe get to re-live some of my childhood dreams about it. Yesterday I looked it up and watched the final episode out of nostalgia. During this fight one of the main characters Tohru busted the brick wall around my house, but I didn't mind... because it was Tohru.
Anyways, a little time had past and I ran outside of my gate to see where the commotion had gone. I guessed that they had moved the battle to another part of the town. At that point I was put in a bad mood, I realized I didn't get to use any of the talismans or powers that were being traded off by the warriors- and all I was stuck with were the awed by-standers, and these two random school kids that kept on walking around asking if they could trade some coins for something. They had asked everyone around here multiple times throughout the dream, I have no idea what that was about. I decided to ask them what they were trying to buy off of everyone, they answered probably six times without saying the same answer once. The school kid's answers, mixed with the thought of wishing I would have used some of the Jackie Chan Adventures talismans instantly made me realize that I was in a dream. The kids were still trying to talk to me but I flew up and away, realizing it didn't matter. Just then I noticed I began to fly too fast, maybe I was too excited to start off without routing myself in the dream first. So I began to fall back down so I could calmly get used to dream realm without losing grip so quickly. That's where it went bad. I started losing control of where I could look and where I could move. I think that this could be attributed to the state of my sleep, sometimes when I'm dreaming- I begin to lose control and vividness if my physical body isn't feeling well. I got to the ground and found myself in a place that I now will always remember. I've been there countless times in other dreams, but I didn't notice how repeditive it was until now. It's a very beautiful and colorful forest with hundred-feet-tall trees that always(!) forms itself if I begin a flying dream near my house where I'm lacking in control still. Some green trees, some red trees, and some other small variations, it's beautiful. What's strange to me is this time, I flew down to the ground and the last thing I saw as the dream showed me my focus wasn't cutting it yet- in the forest was a submarine that I've seen there before. The last time I saw it, I had to look around quite a bit first- but there it was. Half submerged into the ground surrounded by shrubs and rocks. I thought it was so strange that I forgot this place. I guess it's my brains way of telling me goodbye. I have made it past that forest before, but it takes a lot and this dream wasn't up for it. I had one other noteably awesome dream after this one that I'll write down in a bit.

    9. A WILD and a couple DEILDs

      by , 09-03-2012 at 03:10 PM
      Last night was awesome.

I woke up sometime last night and tried WILDing. After a while, I really didn't think anything had happened so I opened my eyes. I noticed everything had a blue tint to it, like the sun was blue, or something. I did the nose pinch RC and confirmed that I was dreaming . I got out of bed, walked across my room to the door, and walked through it. It felt like I was walking through Jello, which was pretty cool! My sister was in the hallway and saw the whole thing. She stared at me for a second then said, "...What just happened..." after which I explained to her that I was dreaming so I could do anything I wanted to. She accepted this explanation happily, and walked back into her room. I ran downstairs and tried my hand at summoning, as I did across all but the last LD (it's one of my primary goals), but apparently I suck at it because the farthest I got was being able to feel the object... I couldn't see it, but it was "there".

About this time, I woke up. My eyes were closed, but I could hear my fan spinning so I knew I was awake (my fan makes no sound in my dreams. Actually, I'm not even sure it exists in them, ha).

I focused on the last dream for a few seconds and eventually I entered back into it, still standing in the same place. I walked down the hallway and tried (and failed!) to walk through the front door. I go outside like a normal person and look around. I see the same goblin-esque person from my first LD standing next to a tree, but I don't bother him. I failed once again to summon something, trying all the methods I could remember and one I made up on the spot (I used Google to look up an image of the object, then tried to pull it from the web page).

I wake up again, eyes still closed. I figure that if I did it once, I can do it again, and I was right.

This time, I didn't even bother trying to summon anything. I decided to act like a maniac throughout the dream . I tried to jump through my bedroom window and failed, so I opened the window, broke down the screen and crawled out onto my roof. I get a running-start and jump off the roof. I go a good 50 ft forward and land in my back yard. I noticed that the yard was missing the fence, and my two dogs were running around freely. There is an old computer terminal (think ww2 era missile launch control panel) that grabs my attention. It is powered on, but there is nothing written on the screen. I tried a bunch of "commands," all of which seemed to work perfectly. "Brightness 70%" instantly "dimmed the sun," which I thought was pretty neat. I noticed a red button which I just -had to- push. Of course, all it did was wake me up!

This morning after everything was over, I realized that I also had a false awakening earlier that night. If I could just remember to RC every time I wake up, I could have had a 4th LD!

    10. Third LD >:D (After I didn't have any for like 8 months lol)

      by , 08-30-2012 at 02:07 AM (Dimension X)
Ok so I had about 2 successful LDs a few weeks ago... And just had another last night. Although this one was short because I had to wake myself up on purpose... Mainly because it was... Kinda bad. So I was in the dream, laying in my bed again and it was very dark but there was still a little bit of light. So I turn my head left (which is the most strength I've had so far lol) And there's a weird black ball floating next to my bed (just above the mattress), And I can see it's kinda shiny. At first it didn't seem like such a big deal, but then it started to make random growling noises. ...A bad LD? And I was obviously scared so I forced myself to wake up. I don't know why it seemed so scary to me at the time, because now it just seems stupid. I could have stayed in the dream longer, but as I said, I had to force myself to wake up because I was just too scared. I'm just happy that it's another LD. The more I have, the better. All I actually do to get LDs it seems, is just go to sleep normally but still have the idea and want of an LD in my head... Weird... But it works...

    11. The Lucid Dream from Hell!

      by , 08-29-2012 at 05:11 PM
08-16-2012 -- [This was a lucid dream where even knowing I was dreaming and had strange dream powers, I couldn't seem to do anything to make it a good dream. Very depressing, and was asking to die in the dream by the end of it. Miserable.]

In an elevator, going somewhere, but no idea where. I am 3/4 asleep, and can barely open my eyes. Some black lady asks me if I am at my floor, or if I am going back down as she exits the elevator. There are a couple more floors, but back down I go, no clue as to what is going on.

I think I am in a movie theater for a few seconds, then I find myself in a 7-Eleven, thinking about the mystery shop I just did. I took four or five pictures of either the ads or the trailers in the theater, then left. In the very low lighting inside the 7-Eleven (its the middle of the night, and while they are open, they don't want the lighting to disturb people) I am trying to read a newspaper and take a good picture of my ticket stub as a receipt. Problem is, the lighting is just too bad.

I move to some brighter light just by the door, and set my stuff up. I am just about to take the picture, when a bunch of obnoxious kids come in and start jostling the table. One of them sits down on my stuff, and they all wonder why I seem to be mad at them.

Suddenly we're outside, standing by a ditch and I am trying to explain everything to them, how they messed up my picture and sat on my stuff, and they just don't care, so I give up. I find some of my stuff is scattered and laying in the dirt and mud in and around the drainage ditch, and looking at a broken pair of glasses, trying to remember if they are mine. I don't think so, they don't look right.

Suddenly I find myself in a bedroom, no idea where. It is weird, and dimensions are stretched and warped. It is huge, and empty, no furniture. Well, nothing except a mirror. The odd thing is, I glance in the mirror and I see a reflection of the room, but with all kinds of furniture, and looking cheery and pleasant, rather than dark and miserable. I see a huge clown coming, and she tells me to be patient, things get better.

Suddenly I find myself being 'attacked' by a circus tiger, except it just wants to cuddle a little bit. There are elephants, giraffes, and other animals just wandering around in this huge, empty room of mine. Bonnie C is here, but she is just sitting there, muttering to herself.

The clown walks past, but she is now dressed as a naughty nurse, all in white, really short skirt, and very attractive. Now this is more like it! I follow her as she walks into a doctor's office, and she is speeding up, almost like she is trying to escape. By this point I know I am dreaming, so when she goes through a door and locks it, I run right through it at full speed, and pass through as if it weren't there.

I catch up to her among some office cubicles and am trying to kiss her and start having some fun. A doctor walks into the room, and because I don't want him to see me, he can't, but since I'm all over the nurse, who he can see, and she is struggling, he knows something is up. "He's here, isn't he?" he asks. Then comes over and starts to wrestle with me, even though he can't see me.

I try to explain. I'm dreaming, I know I'm dreaming, and shouldn't I be able to have some fun? I point to the nurse's gorgeous bare ass, her fanny right in front of my face, and say "Answer honestly, if you're in a dream, face to face with this, would you not take advantage of the situation?" He is honest, and admits he probably would, but tells me she is not for me. I get nothing except the very minor feel I have already copped.

She leads me back to the floor of the dark, empty, huge bedroom, and stays right there, taunting me with her presence. Obnoxious. To hell with this, I start to feel her up again, and she is not happy. Just before I can get anywhere, I get distracted by a caterpillar dressed up as a clown, climbing on me. A green dog comes bouncing up, then disappears, and the doctor is here, still protecting the nurse. He looks slightly different, and I realize he is also the dog.

I start to whine about how I don't get to have anything, even in my dreams, and start to beg to die. They have nothing helpful to say to me. They tell me to get something to eat, and now there is a plain table with a picnic basket on it. I walk up to it and there is some weird guy standing there singing a song about hiding bad food in with the good, and burying chewed clean chicken wing bones under a couple of loaves of stale bread.

      This dream sucks!

    12. First LD

      by , 08-28-2012 at 12:44 AM
I am standing in my room next to my bed. I know that I am dreaming because I had an instant transition from laying in bed to my current position.

I run down the stairs past my cat (who is sitting in mid-air ) to the front door and look out the window. It is dark outside, but still light enough to see everything clearly. I unlock the door, turn the knob, and think, "What if I'm not dreaming?" which scares me and gets my heart rate up. I looked back out the window and noticed a motorcycle in the front yard (with only the rear wheel) which reassures me that I am dreaming, because we don't own one. I calm down and concentrate on a beach, trying to teleport there as I open the door. This doesn't work, which frustrates me. I see a short, hooded person standing in the yard (closest I can relate him to is a goblin) and ask him why I can't teleport. He motions to follow him, which I do - around to the side of the house. I see a large cluster of crystals. the "goblin" then pretends to throw one of them to the ground. I say thanks, pick one up, throw it to the ground, and yell "the beach!" as it shatters into a cloud of smoke. I am now at a beach, staring at the waves. I get so exited to have done it that I wake up.

    13. My wife.

      by , 08-27-2012 at 06:16 PM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
So, for the past fiew days I've been dabbling in different induction methods of lucid dreaming. Last night though, after quite an unhealthy dry spell of my lucid's I told my wife to wake me up around three in the morning when she would be going to sleep. She woke me up, I had a glass of water and a little talk- and then attempted to combine the WBTB, WILD, and audio induction methods all at the same time to try to overdrive my mind into remembering to remain conscious.
And praise God it did! I became lucid in a dream of my own house. My wife and I walked into the restroom, and for the sake of my enphatuation with both her and the state of being lucid, I excitedly started explaining the mechanics of what was going on to her dream character. I told her, once we open that door- we can be anywhere, doing anything we want. It's up to you.
She simply said, "I want to go back in time. Two days.". Naturally, that sounds rediculous when you have the full arsonal of my subconscious on the loose in our current realm, but I went a long with it because of it's special meaning. Yesterday, in the day time we had gotten into the worst fight of our relationship. It was a stammering, on the edge conflict that nearly broke us appart, but we made it through with an even stronger stride. So I opened the door, and we went back in time. Before we fought. Before we said things. It was a nice dream to have, even though it completely distracted me from my dream-state studies. I would have it again if I could. After that I had a false awakening, told my wife's second dream character about the first dream, and then it got strange and unorganized. There were a scene where her and I pulled into a dead end street with a bunch of husky Charlie's Angel looking guys parked around my truck (I don't have a truck in real life). One of them came up to me and started talking shit. So I reached for my keys, closed my door and took off. I think I ran over his foot, because him and a group of his friends started riding towards me. I turned out on the main freeway, just to realize that the freeway had turned into a mall... I was driving my truck through a mall, accedently hitting people. So I skidded to a stop, and walked up to a desk where... my wife and I began to casually go about banking business. Then later after a somewhat dark period, I remember being down the street from my house at night time. It was halloween, or something like that I suspected. It was an eerie setting, things started touch me out of nowhere and taunt me so I began walking away and noticed little stuffed dolls on the ground as if someone had been chucking them towards me. Half way back to my house I noticed a group of idiot teenagers giggling about it, so I climbed up the fense about to confront them- but instead just laughed it off and went home. I had some later dreams, but nothing concrete enough to report on. Thanks for reading!
    14. First True Success

      by , 08-27-2012 at 08:54 AM
Success! Finally! Fully lucid with control.

The first, non-lucid part of the dream was about a museum sort of thing. Lots of details I can get to later.

I left there and was running with a couple of other girls. Running in dreams is an in-between for flying for me. I was making my strides longer and jumping higher each time. Soon I was sort of moon-jumping, purposefully making my way toward flying. Then I decided to fly. I was in the middle of a large jump and just before starting to come down, I felt the slightly dizzying lift in the pit of my stomach that always accompanies the beginning of flight. And at the same time, I started moving toward lucidity.

I was looking at a tree when it happened. It takes strongly believing it will actually happen for me to fly in dreams, and usually some sign to myself that I really believe it. In this case, instead of looking down to make sure I wouldn't run into any of the branches, I looked up. Then I shot way up into the air, high above the city. I was flying toward the top of a sky scraper, and I knew I was asleep. I thought, "I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming." My test for whether I'm asleep is to snap my fingers and open my hand, and if there's an apple there I know I'm asleep. I tried it. I couldn't seem to produce an apple. I said, "Apple. Apple!" a few times, trying to get it to work. I was a little frustrated with that, but it didn't really matter, because I already knew I was asleep and it was time to enjoy it. I flew up above the sky scraper and toward a small cloud, making circles around it before diving toward the ground.

I'm a little fuzzy on what happened next. I ended up back in the museum place. I was sitting on the very top shelf of some display or other thinking about what to do next. "I could steal all the jewels in this museum," I thought, "and find out what it's like to be rich." I hopped off of float on my back and fall very gently toward the ground. Then I woke up.

    15. Dream Object + Zip Lining (DEILD)

      by , 08-26-2012 at 04:41 AM
      Woke up on 8/18/2012
*Only remember fragments of first dream

      Successful DEILD

      1) I’ m at a zip lining place with my sisters and there are three difficulties. There is a small body of water and the zip lines zigzag across it. They are only about one-and-a-half body lengths above the water and they are made up of one very long zip line which is hooked on to pieces of the rocky wall surrounding the water to make the zigzag pattern. We are at the side of the easiest one and I complete it with ease. As I approach the end of the first line I quickly pull the pulley up somehow and land it on the next line. As I reach the end of the medium difficulty zip line I prepare to jump the device to the hard difficulty zip line, but I start swinging wildly as I approach it. I decide not to let go and the pulley slides back to the beginning of the medium difficulty zip line. I try to regain my balance in order to try again. When I reach the wall I try to kick off and keep my momentum straight forward. I swing wildly again as I approach the hard zip line and slide back to the beginning once more. After failing twice, I decide that I need to jump diagonally towards a ledge that is next to the hard difficulty zip line. I reach the start once more, kick off as hard as I can, and slide quickly toward the ledge. I let go of the pulley and leap off the zip line hoping that I will have enough momentum to carry me to the ledge. I reach out, but I am not able to grab the ledge. Instead, I end up on a huge blue bucket with no lid which stands in the water next to another bucket. I have a firm grip since my elbows are hooked over the edge, but the tall bucket begins to lose balance and I’m sure I will fall. I hear my sister say something along the lines of “Aw! Well, falling in the water doesn’t mean you lose”. Then, I try to shift my weight upwards and bring my arms further into the bucket and, miraculously, it regains balance and I’m able to climb up on the rocky ledge with some difficulty (I kind of wanted to try the hard zip line though).

      DEILD
I am slightly awake in real life, but I am very sleepy since I had woken up in the middle of the night. I was probably half asleep because I don’t remember any real life images since I probably never opened my eyes. Somehow I was still able to think clearly and I seized the opportunity to attempt to imagine a dream scene, though I didn’t think about the fact that I was DEILDing. I didn’t have any specific dream scene in mind but I just told myself over and over to imagine a lucid dream scene. Almost immediately, the dream starts to fade in and I am fully lucid.

      2) I see Bobby Lee as a realtor next to a doorway leading to a room in a house. He is in a light yellow buttoned shirt which has blurry white lines mixed into it tucked into what I believe are whitish-yellow pants secured with a brown belt. Somehow, I get the feeling that he knows I’m lucid. Though I was fully lucid, I could still feel the slightest bit of consciousness. I believed Bobby was telling me to go along with the dream story so that I could be fully enveloped in the dream and still remain lucid. He tells me to try to sell the house to two people and beckons me inside the room. I walk inside and describe the room to the old Asian couple as they looked around. To maintain lucidity, I said or did something while looking out a window to my right. Bobby peeked through the doorway and told me to describe it some more and I obliged. After doing this I was confident I was fully asleep and would not wake up so I looked out the window and prepared to find my dream object. Through the window, countless things were going on. Though there was a small field of vision, I could somehow see a zoo, a hangar (There are two hangars outside of my neighborhood in real life), tanks, school buses and trucks driving next to the tanks, futuristic planes in the sky, and roads with bustling cars everywhere. There was so much going on, yet I didn’t feel any sense of chaos. I yelled out, “I want to be guided or led to my dream object” (This is explained in the dream notes in section 2). Suddenly, I see a small object fall from the sky. It travels through the window next to the one I was looking through and landed in my room (The room in the house became my real room at this point). I pick up the object excited to see what it would be. I look at it and I become immensely disappointed. It is some kind of orange/black band made of rubber with a small screen. It almost looks like a watch or a pedometer, but the band looks like it’s meant to go around a finger (To put it into perspective, imagine a tiger printed watch meant to go around your finger instead of your wrist. Don’t imagine too many lines, though. The face of the device was mostly orange and there were a few waves of black on the edges). I knew the device wasn’t a watch or pedometer and I was hoping that my dream object would be something I could easily find in real life. I called out again saying something like, “C’mon! Give me another one!” hoping for a better result. Something else flew down and I picked it up. It was the same object and I became annoyed. I walked back to the window and, for some reason, said that I wanted something more sophisticated (What an odd word choice. I think I meant to say “meaningful”). I saw something fly past my vision to the other window. I walked back and picked up the object. It was a square version of the original object. I looked on the back to see what it was. There were letters carved out of the rubber, and since they were the same color and material as the device itself, they were a little hard to read. I see the word “yoyo” and a few other letters after it which I could not make out. I concluded that the device was meant to be attached to a Yoyo and could somehow count or judge the Yoyo tricks while you played with one. I looked out the window at all the commotion and asked what my big dream object was. I thought that you only had one dream object, but I decided it was worth a shot and that if I had a big object that I could take a picture of in real life, it would be better than nothing at all. Letters were shown in the road below. I don’t remember what they said, but after reading them I looked up towards the area where there were tanks and buses. I remember thinking it was one of those and I think I asked if it was a school bus (I may have said something else). The word “ZOO” appeared on the road and I looked at the zoo. My sister was next to me all of a sudden and told me I was looking at the wrong place and that I was supposed to look at a car near the zoo. Suddenly, I was in one of the bustling cars on the road and there was no roof or window (I was probably in a convertible). I looked at the road and I think I asked for a hint. A text appeared on the road and, though we were moving fast, the text remained in the same relative position to me. There was a transparent image of a car top sign with a moving LED text on it that said “NO TRESPASSING” and I assumed it meant that was my dream object was a car that had those words on it. For some strange reason, I thought of a Toyota. I asked my sister what type of Toyota had that and if a Corolla was the right answer. She said she didn’t know, so I decided to just guess all the Toyota cars I could until I found the right one. I looked down at the road and asked if it was a Toyota Corolla and a text appeared that said “WILD GUESSES” or something with the word “GUESS” or a form of it in the text. I got the sense that I was being told that I wasn’t supposed to randomly guess to find out and that my dream guide had nothing else to say to me for the time being. My dream faded out around this time.

      Dream Notes:

      2) I watched a video by ReeceJones87 on YouTube about dream bridging. In the video he said that to find a dream object someone is supposed to say "I want to be guided or led to my dream object" while lucid. He also said that your dream object could be big or small and that if it is too big or does not belong to you then you can take a picture of it instead of taking it with you. In my dream I was disappointed with the same object so I decided to ask for a bigger one in order to get a different result.
