    1. Hurricane

      by , 11-21-2010 at 11:15 PM
There was a massive hurricane in the Gulf. Even though it was still miles away the town was already devasted. All the grass was dead and there were no plants in site. There was a camp set up where people and possesions were gathered. The buildings in the camp were all made of logs. Around the camp there was a twelve foot high fence with barbed wire on it. My family received a yellow bike for evacuation purposes. My friend Evan was there. I haven't seen him in over a year, because his dad got a job working for an oil company in Saudi Arabia. He tried to get us to move to Saudi Arabia with him, but my parents wouldn't allow it.

    2. Camping nightmare

by , 11-21-2010 at 10:40 PM (Awesomeness's quest for lucidity)
Real life Dream Lucid Nightmare Dream sign
For me to remember, dreams are #067300, and lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1. Nightmares are dark red, #8b0000, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b.

Not a dream about camping, a dream while I was camping.

      Driving nightmare
I was being driven home from school by my Dad. I was in the passenger seat. The road was weird. Strange signs that don't exist in real life, such as two arrows pointing diagonally upward into each other on a yellow diamond, were on the road. The road had a lot of lanes, too many lines, and more exits than usual. There were no other cars, but I didn't notice.

We kept driving. The whole road was different from the real route to home, but I didn't realize.
Suddenly my Dad took a very sharp wrong turn. I could just feel it was the wrong direction. What the heck? I asked him, "Hey, what's going on?" and he replied with a sinister smile and a finger to his mouth, "Shh..." He didn't turn his head towards me, he just turned his eyes. This can't be real... wait, I'm dreaming!

I was now semi lucid. I realized in a dream like this I would have no hope of having fun, and it would only get worse, so I just quit. With an almost bored face I told my dad, "Seriously?". I shut my eyes. Whenever I want to leave a dream, I close my eyes and the dream fades. I can still hear things though...

My Dad gets furious at me. "Stuart... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

The dream fades without waking me up.

Normally my Dad is really nice. I bet that's how I realized it was a dream. I'm glad I realized it was a nightmare and destroyed the dream before it got worse and woke me up in fear. I would have woken up in the middle of the night in a tent with nowhere to go and I'd be unable to get back to sleep.

    3. Nov 21 2010 - Horses

by , 11-21-2010 at 09:28 PM (Mah Journal)
I was at the ranch again. I was going out on some ride where we where supposed to warm up the horses. We walk through some winding trail in the snowy forest. I was worried that I was doing something wrong. I looked down at FL's neck and noticed that her mane didn't seem to be there. But it didn't bother me, and I bent down to hug and kiss her warm, soft neck.

Then I realized that I was the only one mounted, while everyone else was on foot leading their horses. Shit, I thought, what if they notice that I wasn't doing it right? I jumped off, hoping that somehow they wouldn't have seen me. The dream ended there.

    4. Random Little Adventures

      by , 11-21-2010 at 07:32 PM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
My friend and I had decided to race buses. I think she beat me, but her bus needed some heavy work if it was going to work again. We parked our buses in my driveway. She got out and went inside while I hung in my bus, cleaning up some stuff.

I heard growling, and looked out the back window. Behind my bus, there was a wolf and a bear attacking each other. Wow! The wolf was winning. After the wolf finished off the bear, it stalked around the bus. It could see me and wanted something else to fight.

I ducked onto the floor to try to avoid being seen. It clawed at the windows and wasn't giving up. Something made me think to wonder if I was dreaming. I don't remember if I did a reality check or not, but I was pretty sure that I was dreaming.

I jumped out of the bus and the wolf and I engaged in combat. The wolf didn't stand a chance, he was finished within the minute.

I wondered what I would do in this lucid. I needed to learn to teleport. Should I snap my fingers and will myself somewhere else or close my eyes and spin, or should I zoom into a picture? I thought about that for a minute, and decided to try each option.

I can't snap my fingers IRL. So, maybe that attempt was already doomed for failure because it didn't transfer well into the dream. I realized that I really didn't have a specific place in mind that I wanted to go to. Could I just ask my subconscious to create a random place? I sort of liked the scenery here. Bright blue open skies, warm, and in my backyard. I wasn't sure where else I would chose to go.

I was going to try the spinning technique when I remembered what happened last time, a few years back. I had been lucid and decided to do a spinning teleport. Once I arrived at my destination, I forgot to stop spinning and open my eyes and I ran into a pole. It was fail. At least it had worked though.

The last technique that I was going to try was where you zoom into a picture. I felt the urge to pee. I willed myself not to, knowing that it would just be a waste of time and it was only sensation in RL transferring over. I found a dried up leaf on the ground and examined it carefully. It was a dark red color and had many striations on it. Looking deeper, I could even see the cells! The striations reminded me of mountains, which is where I decided that I would teleport to. I tried to focus my vision into engulfing the picture, but I was failing.

"Hi Steff!" I heard Joe behind me. Oh no, not another ninja Joe to fight off ! I turned around, and saw that he was holding a dobak. He wasn't in karate, so I asked him why.

"They are holding a scary movie marathon!" He exclaimed.

      "Oh, that's cool."

"Yeah I'll just leave you to your flying and stuff," He responded.

"Do you want a ride?" I asked him. I was getting a little bored, and fancied some exploration.

"Sure!" He took my hand and we flew to the dojang. Once we got there we went inside and saw that they had set up a large couch in the hallway. To the side of the couch there was a horror flick on the TV screen. The movie was about some kind of intense gore. It looked like a giant caterpillar was being brutally murdered. I decided I probably shouldn't watch this while lucid as it might influence my dream negatively again lol.

I went upstairs where it was dark. I decided it would look cool if I made my fingers look like bright neon glowsticks. The glow looked like a slowly spreading disease on my fingertips. It was hard to force the glow to encompass all of my fingers, but I got really close. Still sorta bored, I decided to try and walk through a wall. I had never been much good at it. I faced the wall and slowly walked through. At first it felt like passing a hard barrier, but it gave away as soon as I got past it. As I walked through the wall, I fell down 2 stories on to the ground. Oops, I forgot that I was upstairs.

I was now sitting back on the grass in my backyard, and everything was sunny again. There was a gazebo in the middle of the yard. I wondered if it had any significance.

I went inside the house and decided to summon Retribution. He appeared, but looked like the Chrysler Building. I willed him away and summoned a new version of him. We had epic sex but he disappeared shortly after. Ugh, guys these days.

Bored and alone, I decided to play the piano. I wondered if I could subconsciously remember songs that I learned years and years ago. I put my hands on the keyboard and tried to play The Entertainer. I knew that my dream could easily reproduce the sounds and fool me into thinking that I had got it down, so I payed more attention to the motions that my hands were making. It didn't feel right, and thus the sound was strange.

    5. A shared dream with an annoying red-haired priest

      by , 11-21-2010 at 06:52 PM
I became lucid becuase i remembered to do an RC.

I decided i wanted to go to the place where i usualy go to meet other dreamers, a huge room with bars and stuff in it where people can do stuff. I sat at one of the bars and ordered a cola. As i drank the last drop of cola, someone sitting on the seat next to me said " hi there nice to meet you again." What do you know, it was Antonio Vivaldi again. I asked what he wanted, as i had other plans, and really did not have time for 300 year old men. He said he just wanted to hang out, i asked why he wanted to hang out with me. He replied "i usualy only get visited by old men, only few young people visit, and they never come back after they have visited me, so i decided to visit you!"

I said i had planned to go to Mt. Markzhou and train a little with the other dragon sages, so i did not have time hang out with him. He replied that he was really lonely and wanted some friends, so i felt a little sad for him and decided to hang out with him for roughly 1 hour. He talked about music and how it is today compared to back when he was alive.

When the hour had passed i said that i had to go, but he begged me not to. I asked him why he is so desperate, and why he cant just visit someone else. He said he just wanted it to be me, as i seemed the most interesting of the people who had visited him. I said that cannot be true, as i know guys like moSh, who is a very cool guy, have visited him.

I said i really had to go, and so i teleported to Mt. Markzhou using the secret teleportation spell only dragon sages know. After training there for an hour, i had been dreaming for almost 3 hours, and i knew that i would soon wake up. I teleported to the moon where i saw a few other dreamers, i looked at one in particular wich looked kinda like WakingNomad, but thought "nah, probably not him"

so i just sat there and stared at our planet until.... another visit from the red-haired priest. I said to him that i was getting a bit annoyed by his unwarned apperances, and told him to go away. He then said "but i have written some music for you my friend" That got my interest and i asked him to play it. He played a violin sonata for me, it was very beautiful, but not enough for me to forget how annoying he was. My dream became blurry and just before i woke up he said "bye bye, see you again next time".

    6. I got lucid! (And fought zombies!)

      by , 11-21-2010 at 06:22 PM
      I got Lucid -
It was odd, I felt that something was wrong, and I was just standing in my dark house. Then I looked down at my hand and it had 8+ fingers on it! Then I heard Queen Zukin say that being Lucid was knowing you are dreaming. I decided to have some fun.

My dog was looking eagerly at me, I looked at it and it turned into some sort of flying flying creature and flew away. Then I thought "I certainly could use a weapon" And before I knew it I was holding a Kar98K. So now I had a weapon, and I was lucid. What should I do? What about fight zombies? As soon as I thought that I was on some sort of sandy beach looking past dead trees to a full moon, and just them a wolf howl filled the air. I fell back into the eye of the dream as the game began...

It began in some sort of greenhouse. Me and 3-4 friends were holding out against zombies. (I had the Kar98K FTW) Wave after wave of zombies were coming at us, and inbetween every round we could enter some sort of chamber outside of the greenhouse to get money. But if we entered too late, we would be released into the wave of zombies, which I did twice. Then all of a sudden I was alone, and fighting a giant zombie with a flaming head. I kept diving out of his way and shooting him, but he wouldn't die! Then he disappeared and I saw in the corner the words "CONNECTION LOST - ATTEMPTING TO RECONNECT" Then someone said "Where is he? I need to know where he is." and I could choose responses, and I chose "No An'ika, He's nowhere" (No idea what An'ika means)

Pretty sure I had some sort of dream with Queen Zukin. Can't really remember it.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID NIGHTLY ADVENTURE

Good morning! Wasn't a very eventful night. Most of my dreams had some level of anxiety in them. Which is imo pretty cool! Atleast they're not boring hehe. I also did some sleepwalking, and had another nightly adventure.

      12.30: Bedtime

      02.00: Nightly Adventure
*I wake up. My pillow is sizzling kind of, like there's soda inside of it. I quickly sit up and throw the blasted thing on the floor. "Hah! I ain't letting that thing get to me" I think for myself. I go take a piss.

      9.00: Fragment
*I'm in Thailand with my family and we're taking diving classes. I see a huge shark swimming upside down. There are all kinds of fishes in different colours. A song starts playing very much like the "Kiss the girl" song from Ariel. The song is about which fishes are dangerous. I see a black and white striped fish.

      9.00: Stealing
I'm working in a supermarket store. Another guy working with me is standing a few meters away, unpacking goods. He slips a bottle of booze into his pants, and I can clearly see it. He doesn't seem to care and walks away. I walk to my locker and take out two bottles of Champagne. They're very expensive and around 50 years old. I put one on the stove and walk away with the other one. I realise I have to take a piss. My mom tells me I am a suspect of theft. I take a piss on the staff toilet. There's one of those ass cleaning, oldschool toilets next to me.

      9.00: A bit too stern
I franticly clean my room. I can hear yelling down the hall. "Shit I ain't got my time left, he'll be here any minute now" I think and make my bed quickly. I get on my stomach and look under it. There is mold on the floor and I scrub it away with water and a sponge. Suddenly I can't move. I've reached too far under the bed and I'm stuck against it. "Okay just relax..." I breathe slowly for a few seconds, and manage to get loose. I get up and do some last minute cleaning of the toilet before a man stalks in the room.

My room mate hasn't made his bed, and the man is clearly disappointed. We stand with our backs straight and our eyes right ahead. He inspects the room thoroughly, tossing my sheets up in the air and turning the bed over. "Well well... Look what we got here" he tells us in a sadistic way. I'm starting to get scared as I imagine him finding a moth. He pulls out a huge, black and white insect with long antennas. He tells us that the insect is very rare and isn't alive. It's a zombie. He puts the insect (which I kind of remember having under my bed) on the table.

It really is amazing. Its long 20 cm body looks just like a caterpillar with pointy features. Two antennas are stiff against its body. I put on a straight face and lie to the man, telling him I have no idea where that came from. He gets up and tells me to sit down on the matress. I remain standing as he takes a plastic bottle, and puts it with the cap downwards, below my throat, just where the collar bones meet. He starts pushing and I grunt with pain. "Sit, down" he commands. I sit down and feel the pressure begin to increase. It really hurts.
I wake up with some of the pain remaining, but most of it is coming from my two numb arms, which I am laying on.

      10.45: Zombies
I'm in the woods with my friend G. We're driving a small pickup, and trying to navigate through the difficult terrain. There are hiking paths which we follow, trying to keep moving. "They are not very far behind" I tell him. The horde of zombies can be heard faintly. After a while of driving back and forth, going over small tress and rocks, we finally get to a road. The road leads over a bridge and I start wondering if we could blow it up, to prevent the zombies from going across it. Suddenly I realise Monica is still out there.

I tell G we have to pick her up. I am sure she's still alive since we had just spoken through a text message. But I want to make sure so I try calling her. She won't pick up the phone and all I hear is that annoying "Three" music. A hitchhiker is at the side of the road ahead, and I tell G to stop. We pick him up and he looks just like an old friend from school. He has a different name though. I check my revolver and notice I've only got three shots left.

"Has anyone looted Skärgårdsstad yet?" I ask as we pass the road leading in to my old house I lived in as a kid. "Forget it, we ain't got time for that" G tells me and accelerates. We drive for some time and meet a few cars on the way. I signal to them with the headlights, and G seems to get annoyed by it. After a while we get to a couple of stores. There's a supermarket and a "Systembolag" (where you buy booze in Sweden). We drive through the front doors of the supermarket but I notice that nothing's broken. "Perhaps there are people inside who doesn't want us to destroy the windows?" I say.

We decide to not break the inner windows and get out. A gas station appears in the middle of the buildings. A few seconds later, G has parked the car and is trying to fuel it up. He parked it on the wrong side... I take out my revolver, making sure no zombies get to us while we're fueling. That metal thingy you pull back to make it "active" falls off and hits the ground with a metallic sound.

      Wake up: 10.45

      Amount of sleep: 10 hours

      Food before bed: Nothing special

That's it! Pretty cool dreams imo, but I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get a nicer lucid... I've lost some of my motivation, but I am going to try harder this week! Galantamine + Choline next weekend, and this Tuesday I will try some B6.

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
    8. 11/20/2010 - "I Am Batman"

by , 11-21-2010 at 04:08 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      11/20/2010
      "I Am Batman"

As you might have guessed, I was Batman, in this dream.
The first thing I remember was sneaking across a dark road, at night, out in the middle of nowhere. There was a large compound, surrounded by a fence, on the other side of this road, and I knew that it was the hideout of a gang of thugs. (I have to start noticing these criminal HQs as dream signs. They have been showing up a lot, lately.) Hoping over the fence, I came upon a parking area, moving swiftly between the cars and keeping my head down, trying to stay to the shadows. There were apparently hundreds of people here, though, and some of them were still coming and going. I could not help being caught in a few headlights, while moving from place to place, but no one who saw me really seemed alarmed - at least, at first. One of the cars sped passed me, missing me by inches. Tracking it with my eyes, I saw the car turn around and come back to make a second attempt to hit me. Again, I dodged at the last second, slinging my fist out and smashing it through the driver's side window, punching the guy in the face. Having shattered his face with the heavy blow, I reached in and grabbed the man, interrogating him and getting information about the people inside.

I was now in the base. It was basically a slum within a large, industrial building; drugs; goons; women; small, ratty apartments; etc. I knew that I was vastly out-numbered, though, so I relied mainly on stealth. Even though the compound was pretty well-lit, and I didn't have many shadows to work with, I used any nooks and crannies I could find, to stay hidden as I moved from room to room. I had the infamous utility belt, with a seemingly endless array of non-lethal weapons, which I used to subdue key criminals and gather information. One of these detainees was a monk of some sort. He was the one that gave me the most information about the organization, and revealed it to be - at its core - some type of cult. He took me to a room where, on a stone wall, I saw something written in what looked like blood. It said something about the coming return of Quetzalcoatl, and that being the whole reason for the cult's existence. It was around here, that I realized I was dreaming. I was still in the Batsuit, and it felt amazing. Enjoying the scenario way too much, I hid the monk in a bathroom, but I couldn't find a pair of cuffs or anything, on my belt (surprisingly), to lock him down. Since I knew I was dreaming, I tried to create a pair, between the man's arm and a steel bar. I could almost see it flicker into solidity, but it just would not make that transition into a tangible object.

Not really wanting to waste too much time on it, I just left the man unchained, and went on about my search for more information. I continued slinking through the hallways, like only Batman could, and it was so much more than just doing an 'impression' of him. I felt like I was him, yet still very conscious of the fact that I wasn't. Interesting feeling, and I was enjoying every minute of it. I came upon a room with two thugs inside, and felt like I could use a quick scrap. They were both sitting in chairs, near each other. I could tell that one of them was much bigger than the other. Knowing that there were two of them, I decided to rush them and take them by surprise. I burst into the room (which wasn't much bigger than the three of us), and sucker punched the smaller guy, laying him out, slumped down into the chair. Immediately, I turned to the left, about to attack the other guy, before he got out of his chair. But that's when I noticed how big this guy was. He hadn't even flinched. He just sat there, within my arm's reach, glaring at me. Slowly, calmly, he stood up. This dude was some 7 feet tall, and like 300lbs of muscle. I felt like a kid, compared to him. And I could tell, by his demeanor, that he and I were on the same page.

Unfortunately, I don't remember too much of our fight. Just a myriad of punches and dodges. I do remember, at one point, he hit me with a punch to the gut that would have crippled a rhinoceros. I actually felt the armored padding in the suit soften the blow - even though, before that point, I hadn't really thought about how thick it was. (I love that the subconscious just fills in these little details, on its own. Always amazes me.) By this time, I was just having the time of my life, being Batman. I was taunting one of the goons and even threw on an imitation of his voice, from Batman: the Animated Series (which is about my favorite incarnation of Batman), and I actually surprised myself at how much I sounded like him. Can't remember what I said, though. Also, while navigating the maze of hallways, I was just kind of "creating" which weapons I would need, from my utility belt. Anything that fit my situation, at the time, I would find. This part of the dream seemed like it lasted a good little while, but I can only recall certain, blurry, flashes of images.

Finally, I made it to the quarters of the compound's leader. He was a young, Spanish dude that kind of reminded me of that crazy muhfucka Peoples Hernandez, from the Shaft movie. It was just he and I, standing in a service area, surrounded by steel pipes and concrete - metal grates and steps. I actually saw something of a HUD come up, in my field of view, as if this were a boss fight in some video game. There was a reticle "on-screen", that showed stats and everything, as we fought. It was an awesome hand-to-hand fight, but I don't really remember too many of the details of it.

(Also, THIS has been my desktop, for the past few weeks, so I'm not surprised about having another Batman dream. Haha.)

    9. 11/21/10

by , 11-21-2010 at 03:55 PM (Book of Dreams)
I am in the backseat of a minivan, and I am apparently friends with the driver. We're playing some sort of game where we rear-end people, they get in the car, and we argue with them. We hit one small car, and a woman with fire-red hair gets in the passenger seat. We drive of to a house where a cop is waiting in the driveway (I remember looking at the street signs, and we were near the corner of Halloween St and Hell St). The red-haired woman exits the car, and we discuss the accident through the window. The cop isn't really paying much attention. A little boy is in the garage and playing with a shot gun.
"Oh, my gosh, that kid is swinging that thing around like it's a toy!" I say to the driver as we crouch below the dashboard to avoid getting shot.
The cop then takes the gun away from the child and fires it off at a neighboring house, hitting a car in the driveway. A man gets out of the car, pulls out a handgun, and fires at the policemen. He misses. Then he puts the gun into his mouth and kills himself. I start laughing (wtf?) at how confused the red-haired woman must be.
We step out of the car, and I walk over to the policeman. Tori Amos is playing on the radio.
"Wow! I was just listening to this song before all this started!!" The driver of the car joins us. "You look a lot like Tori Amos." I'll just call her Tori from now on.
So the cop takes the red-haired woman away, and Tori and I start eating Wendy's hamburgers on the driveway while we await his return. I eat mine very quickly.
"Ugh, where did my sandwich go? I ate it all so fast."
I pull out my laptop and we start watching a movie. Eventually, a group of foreign men in a van pull up and speak to us. Tori doesn't seem nervous, but I sure am.
      **Time Lapse**
I'm in a hotel room waiting by myself. I'm dressed up like some dominatrix chick, and I have no recollection of how I got here. Tori is in the next room having sex with the foreign men. I pull out my laptop and continue watching the movie. In the movie, I (as the dominatrix) am in the hotel, trying to hide from the foreign men. As I watch, my heart starts racing. Wow! This movie has great suspense! Tori and I have to finish it!
I take the laptop into the bedroom and push one of the men off of Tori.
"Tori," I whisper, "we have to get out of here. Trust me."
      She looks confused. "Why?"
The leader of the men comes in. "You don't want to leave now!" he says, "we're about to have ice cream,"
For some reason, I pretend I don't speak English very well. "What?"
"Ice cream?" "Oh, si, helado. Me gusta." I take off running down the hall, and one of the foreign men follows. I don't know exactly how to get out of here, so I'm just taking random turns. The man is close behind me. Eventually, I reach the street level, and I run down the sidewalk to an intersection, where there is an ice-cream truck at a stoplight (but there's no driver...?) I run towards it, and hurl myself inside. Everything is in slow motion now, and as I'm flying through the air, I close the doors with my legs. The man runs into the door and gives up. I'm free!!

    10. Simpsons Move to the Moon

Didn't remember to note my sleeping position for this one, but it's so strange i must have been on my left side (right brain)

      Simpsons Move to the Moon
      Clarity: 8/10
      Importance:3/10
      Sleep: OK
      Sleep Position: Unknown
I'm moving to the moon with some friends so we can live there. We're pulling our stuff along in a cart, when the traffic on the road gets really thick and comes to a halt, so we go to a local restaurant. I arrive first, and the manager seats me and shows me this french fry on the table. He says people carve graffiti in to it and leave it there for the next person to see. I want put something like "Ladies, for a good time call (my number), but not while the manager is watching. There is a pin on the table for carving up the french fry, and the managers says he's already retired 3 french fries and hung them up for display.

My friends arrive, and we order some food. I look at the road ahead. The traffic is lined up right to a barrier that is nothing but toys blocking the road. In fact the entire hill is covered in toys. I leave the table to go clear the way for us and to scout ahead. I pick up a 7 foot smurf doll and carry that around in one arm. With the other arm, I pick up a 5 foot smurf doll that had a bicycle wheel for it's lower torso, and it plays music as the wheel turns.

I get to the top of the hill, and spot our destination, a cabin. I turn around and begin to clear the remainder of the road when I'm attacked by these small white creatures. They look like strange squarish stuffed animals, no more than a foot tall. These creatures can barely more, and sort of flop over in my general direction to get to me. I boot the creatures away, clear a path on the road and go collect my friends.

We are now the Simpsons family, with me being Homer, pulling along the rest in a cart. Those white creature that didn't seem to be much of a threat ambush us, pulling Marge Bart Lisa and Maggie into some sort of portal in the ground. I reach into the portal to try and save them, and the little white creature pulling them down seems to be afraid of me. It stops pulling them down and I'm able to rescue them.

We clear the hill and arrive at our cabin. Then the local inhabitants (humans) begin to attack our cabin. They are using makeshift guns, little more than metal pipes stuffed with black powder and a bullet, and pieces of cigarettes for a fuse. These weapons fizzle as often as they fire, and even when they do fire, the projectiles have no power behind them.

After enduring this half-assed assault for awhile, I decide "Fuck it! We're moving to mars!". In third person perspective, I see the Simpson family pulling their now badly battered cart. There is supposed to be six wheels, but one is missing, and Lisa's foot is attached to the cart where the wheel should be. Only her foot is missing and is now a whee. The other family members are ragged as well, like the cart that is barely holding together.

The approach a monorail that seems to stretch to infinity, and Homer begins to traverse it on a unicycle, pulling the cart behind him.

    11. Interesting dream...2/3 weeks ago

      by , 11-21-2010 at 02:48 PM
I am walking around the town where I live with my friends. Everything is exactly where it should be; I walked the same route home from the bus stop the day after the dream. It seemed that not even a tree or a house was out of place. But anyway, I was walking to the shops to get soembody a birthday present...i have no idea who that person is, but it was definately someone important; it was imperitive that I get the gift otherwise they'd get pissed off.

I entered Tesco, and the shelves were stacked full of various amounts of things that would make a good gift; chocolates, flowers and assorted bottles of expensive looking alcohol. I think the person was probably female. In retrospect I think it was probably my mum as I it wasn't my girlfriend (she works in Tesco and was therefore in the dream); it also wasn't my sister as I never buy her presents

Before entering the shop my girlfriend comes out and hands me a small-ish suitcase. There is an urgent look on her face. She says something to the effect of 'get out of here you dozy pillock'. This causes me to think that the suitcase might contain somethng valuable.

The next thing I know I'm in Tesco's and I'm looking at the various, assorted bottles of wine. My friend is standing beside me moaning about how long I'm taking. The other two friends who I came to the shop with have inexplicably disappeared.

I somehow arrive outside again. The suitcase is lying underneath the back bumper of someones car right outside the shop. I walk over to check if the seemingly valuable cargo has been damaged in any way. It hasn't been. I decide to open it (although I wans't told not to I feel that I shouldn't). There are three bottles of whiskey inside, held in place by a sort of purple velvetine covering. It certainly didn't look valuable. I thought these would make a good gift.

As I look up away from the case, all of my friends have now disappeared. I begin to walk away from the shop. As I walk I feel that something is approachin in the darkness behind me. I feel that it is not something threatening, rather it is something that I'd rather wait until later to deal with.

I begin to run, I start to run as fast as I can. I begin to pick up immense speeds, leaping and jumping over cars with my fantastically enhanced momentum. Every time that I feel that this speed is becoming harder and harder to maintain, I always find something within me that allows me to go that extra bit faster. I come out of the part of the town that is full of main roads and enter quieter suburban roads and eventually small pedestrian walkways that connect blocks of flats and small groups of houses and public gardens. Nothing is instantly recognisable as it was before. In spite of this, everything is crystal-clear and it all slightly resembles places in my town, although they weren't actual places in my town like they were on my journey to the shops.

The suitcase had disappeared at some point, I'm not quite sure when, but i suspect it was when I began to pick up speed. I then woke up gradually as the world around me began to fade, again, i cannot recall exactly when this was and it didn't feel strange when it did.

The whole experience felt super-real and seemed to connect with a recurring characteristic of my recent dreams that it was a hugely long and drawn-out narrative that always takes twists and turns. This isn't such a good example of that as it was really at the start of this period of enormous dreams that i currently find myself in. If anyone would like to share their views on what they thinnk this all means I would love to hear from you

(Good morning, everybody. I remember one dream from last night.

The character in my dream definitely looks like a person I know from waking life. I don't know him personally, but he goes to certain art events I also attend, including one last night.

He's not at all like the person in the dream. He's really cool and insightful. So I don't know why I dreamt of him being this way.)

      Dream #1

I sat at an anime fest, in a place like a basketball arena. It was like everybody who had come to attend the festival were sitting in bleachers, looking down to a stage-like area that would be where the basketball court was. The seating section, as big as in any pro basketball arena, was completely packed.

I sat near the front row. The row I sat in had a big, wooden bannister before it, which kind of reminds me of the front railing in the public area in a court room, or of the balcony area where the public sits during government sessions in capitols.

The area where the basketball court would be was full, probably with artists' booths. But the festival patrons weren't going down there.

We were all watching some presentation given to us by some white man who was apparently a manga artist. The man may have been tall, a little overweight, balding, with red-brown hair, and red-tan skin. He may have been wearing a kind of old, green sweatshirt and blue jeans.

When the man's presentation was finished, the man announced that we could all come down to his booth. He had a black binder full of his manga art, and he informed us that we could each choose our favorite female manga character out of the binder and take the page for free. He might also have said he would sign the page.

An overweight, black man about my age, with thick glasses and wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, sat to my left. He said, probably to me, in a joking-confiding way, "Well, everybody who's in line behind me better get ready to wait a long time. Cause I'm gonna take my time going through that book until I find my favorite anime girl."

Some announcer called each person down by name. They called the man. Right after that, they called me. I stood behind the man as he slowly flipped through the pages of the binder.

The binder was huge, full of pages. The pages were probably all in individual plastic sleeves. The art looked very pencil-y but very professional. Some of the art was in grey pencil. Some was in blue pencil.

The man pulled something out of his pocket that looked like a cell-phone-sized laptop. He checked the time, put the device back in his pocket, and went back to leafing slowly through the pages.

I was trying really hard to think to myself who my favorite manga character was. All I could come up with was Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin. I thought I should be able to come up with a character better than that. But I figured that maybe Jasmine from Aladdin really was my favorite manga character.

The man had flipped all the way to the end of the binder. Then, saying out loud that he didn't see a manga girl he liked yet, he began flipping backward through the binder.

As I watched the man flip through the pages of the binder, I saw a number of drawings of Jasmine. I figured I'd be happy with just about any of those drawings. Seeing all these Jasmine drawings, I was starting to get impatient with the man. I could have had a perfectly fine picture and been gone by now. But this man wouldn't stop taking his turn!

The man pulled his "phone" back out of his pocket and looked at the time again. The phone indicated that he'd been flipping through the book for 20 or 22 minutes by now. (The phone may not have been showing the time. It may actually been timing the man as he flipped through the pages.)

The man nodded approval at the time, put his phone back in his pocket, and began flipping slowly through the binder again. He may have gone all the way backward through the binder and started flipping forward again.
    13. November 19th - November 20th 2010 - Fragments 1

      by , 11-21-2010 at 10:46 AM (Shinoda's Dream Journal)
Alright, I only have fragments of this one since I woke up, wrote down notes and went back to sleep. When I woke up again, I had forgotten the dream and all I have is the notes to go by... I remember the dream was a long one and everything in the notes are part of the same dream.

      I was in a mall.
There was a dog that bite me and held on to my right arm. I was tossing him around and it didn't hurt. (Kinda as if I was wearing one of those dog trainer suits)

I was walking home and a guy with glasses in a car stooped by to talk to me, I think he was a family member (False Memory). He had a bobblehead of HIMSELF in the car.

A guy that lived in his truck (I don't recall ANYTHING about that but it's in my notes)

There was a guy I was arguing with for something I can't recall. He used a projector showing DreamViews to prove a point that I didn't catch on (I bet he was trying to make me lucid and I was too dumb for it to click).

There were weird elevators. (Even if it's not in my previous entries, I know I had multiple dreams in the past with odd elevators. I might be discovering a dreamsign here)
    14. Meeting Dream Guide?

      by , 11-21-2010 at 09:26 AM
      Non-dream Dream Lucid-Dream

I was in my house, around the living room. I suddenly became lucid. I remembered that I wanted to meet my dream guide. There was a door behind me. I told myself that when I turned around my dream guide would be there. I turn around. I don't see anyone. I walk into the doorway. And somebody pops out! Its a woman a little taller than me in a green dress. Her hair was bright brown. The dress went down too the floor and was 3 different shades of green, brightest green on top, darkest on bottom. She had a polished stick in her hand. I got the impression that it was a wand. I don't know why but I wanted to try that trick that you do to see if what your looking at is an actual living thing or just a projection. I pointed my pinky at her. I was about to say "show me your energy! But I couldn't open my mouth! "Follow me" she said. I walked with her down a long white hallway trying to open my mouth. I was getting really thirsty. We enter a big room with a very tall ceiling. Its really empty except for a bunch of notebooks hanging from the cieling with very long string. They were spaced apart evenly. At this point the dream was really blurry. But she told me to write down what I've seen on one of the notebooks. In other words. She told me to write my dreams while in the dream. I was confused about that but I started writing on the notebook. The dream faded. I can't remember what I wrote.

    15. 11/19 Lucid

I don't remember much of what happened here, but I'll relate what I can. I had long LD which lasted 30 mins or so. In this dream I had a FA, and caught it with a RC. This sparked my initial lucidity. I had been reading Madmonkey's journal the night before, and decided to try some of the things he talked about. I tried to make a ball of electricity. It didn't work out too well. I then tried to shoot electric bolts out of my fingers, that worked a lot better. I began shooting at DC's, though I don't remember why. Somewhere later in the dream I decided to look at my hands. I had seven fingers lol. I didn't even need to count the fingers, I just knew instantly that I had seven. At some point, I had another FA, which I also caught, and continued wreaking havoc with my cool dream powers . I also tried to use Mzzkc's Archetype control. This worked out pretty well, I used his example and pulled out a calculator and adjusted the brightness of the dream. Then I pulled out the board which I had decided a month or so ago would control the main aspects of the dream control, clarity, and length. I cranked up the control and clarity, and the dream instantly became clear, not blurry. Also somewhere along in there, I tried to stabilize the dream by rubbing my hands together and feeling my jeans. I don't remember very much of this dream because I was exhausted when I woke up and went back to sleep instead of writing it down. I am super excited about it and will try and wild tonight. I'll make sure I go through all the stabilization stuff before I try to do anything fun. Tonight I'm going to shoot fireballs.
