    1. A lucid escape...

      by , 09-06-2012 at 05:17 PM
My lucid dreaming abilities are finally returning to me!

Last night I had 2 Lucids, or more accurately, 1 lucid and a re-entry.

The first Dream I remember wasn't a lucid, and only involved me conversing with random people I haven't spoken to in years.

The second Dream I remember involved me helping some people escape from a Russian prison, including children. We moved as a group towards a fence that had been previously loosened by someone... I forcibly opened it further allowing several small children to pass through it. As soon as all the chillin were through, I opened the gate further and squeezed through myself. I remember feeling others trying to force their way past me while I was trying to get through. On the other side of the gate, we came to the walkway that lead to the main gate and out of the prison. As we walked towards the gate, ever so carefully, I noticed a group of guards walking together in our direction. Before they could notice us we all tried to hide. This was difficult to do being that we were on the main path. I found a small part of the building that protruded out from the rest and hid there, hoping they would pass right by me.

No one else was able to find an adequate hiding spot so they tried to go back through the gate from which we came. Lucky for me, the guards noticed this and focused their attention on the others, passing right by me. There was nothing I could do from inside this place, so I began to move towards the front gate again. As I approached it, I noticed two more guards manning this position. Neither of the guards were facing me so I began to speed up towards them before they turned around. As I reached them I broke into a full run, arms extended outward like a T, and clotheslined both of them just as they turned to see me. I grabbed a set of keys off one of them and proceeded into the building in front of me.

The inside of this building reminded me of a Walgreens, except they had four sets of locked doors keeping me from escaping. Or so they thought... I didn't see anyone inside so I found the correct key (which was oddly shaped, and obviously unique) and began opening the first door. This triggered something and brought guards to me. No alarm was sounded so I guess they had just seen me. This is the part where, in a movie, the intense music would begin as I opened the first door and closed it just as they had reached me. These guys obviously have keys too, so I couldn't waste any time getting the next door open. I fumbled with the keys and opened the next door just as they opened the first, and again narrowly escaped for a moment longer. With only two doors to go, I didn't bother to close the third, I just opened it and moved immediately to the last. As I'm leaving the compound, one of the guards catches up to me and begins throwing punches. This guard is huge, I'm talkin like a 250 lb Samoan dude. The thing is, as he's throwing punches at me he's making sound effects! Like the way children do when they play fight. He also wasn't throwing them full speed, it was more like he was trying to make it SEEM like he was punching me, for the benefit of any guards that were watching. I just looked at him, bewildered. This is when he tells me to run, and I realize that I must be Dreaming...

At that moment I feel the familiar sense of awe at being lucid. I also notice there is a female guard behind me. I immediately tell her to change into Jessica . It worked beautifully this time as her hair and facial features simply morphed into my desired woman. I close my distance to her and turn to the Samoan dude, telling him to dissappear. He did. I begin kissing her and anticipating an awesome session of nookie when the Dream fades to black and I wake up.

Crap! Again! This time I told myself I was going to go right back in there and get what I wanted from her. I fall asleep and end up back in the damn compound! This time there is no Samoan dude, just a smaller guard who is acting like I'm his prisoner, but treating me like I'm not going to escape. He's just walking around, talking about god knows what when I noticed the keys on the counter. I think to myself that if he doesn't notice them, imma grab them and jet. As soon as he turned his back to me, I did just that. Once again unlocking all the doors and reaching the outside world. This time there were people outside, civilians by the looks of them. The outside more resembled a Walgreens parking lot than it did the first time around. I again found a close by female and willed her to change into Jessica (damn I love that woman) only this time, she didn't co operate. She morphed into a woman that was part Jess and part DC. I instinctively tried something I've never tried before. This is similar to when people pretend to squish someones head from across the room with their fingers, an optical illusion. I placed my hands in a triangle, palms faced out, over her hair and part of her face. I then performed a downward arch motion, revealing red hair and a stunningly familiar face. I approached her and she changed back!? She then walked past me and joined a group of DCs as they began to walk away from me. I shouted at them "Hey!", and they all turned to look at me, completely in sync like the way Agents move in the matrix movies. When they faced me I verbally told them that one of them needed to change into Jessica, and one stepped forward. I took her hand and the rest walked away. I again did the triangle hand trick and my beautiful Jessica returned to me. I was mesmerized by her gorgeous eyes as she asked my what I wanted her to do.. I told her I wanted her to blow me. Yes that's how I said it. The whole time I'm interacting with her she has the biggest smile on her face, like she couldn't be happier to see me. We started making out again and after a short while I began to undo her button down shirt. As I reach the last few buttons I rip the shirt open, revealing a perfect set of breasts being held prisoner by a lacy pink bra. It was at this point she slowly crouched to her knees, keeping eye contact with me the whole time and never ceasing to smile. As she wrapped her luscious lips around mini me, my Dream faded to black once more and I awoke for the final time. Once again, my lucid Dream was cut short due to an excess of heat in the room. In other words, my blankets had made me too hot and my body woke me up, Dammit!

I hope you have enjoyed reading this. This will not be the last time I write of my exploits with Jessica () as I intend to go all the way with her, and I won't move on to my next objective until I complete this one. I believe these Dreams up my lucid count to the double digits now, and about 3 for the past week. My skill is increasing, however slowly.

    2. Tea Store Sex

      by , 09-06-2012 at 04:31 PM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      Tea Store Sex

I was in a store that sold tea. It had a very open floor-plan. There were a few tables set up with teas and information. I thought I didn't need anything because I know a little about tea, but then I thought that this would be the perfect place to learn more about tea, and maybe to pick up a nice one.

I asked if they had any information on tea. I asked about information on ECGC's, and the corrected myself as the salesman corrected me, "EGCG."

There were women everywhere. I realized I was dreaming. Time to pick one out and go to work.

I liked the little oriental number. I thought about undoing my pants, but I ddn't want any trouble, and my lucid's have been short lately, so I figured I'd just cop a feel.

I put my hand down her shirt, and of course her shirt is now a turtleneck. I fought my way under it and felt her titty. I didn't really feel it., but I was cupping her breast.

I moved my hand down her pants. I felt her lace panties, moved down, and kind of felt her hair. I put my middle finger in her vagina. She was a little dry, so I took it slow. I pushed in a little at a time and finally pushed it in all the way. Yea!

Then I started kissing her. It was delicious. I sucked her tongue as she pulled it out of my mouth. Her tongue became very long. I enjoyed it as she pulled her long tongue slowly out of my mouth.

She had a pretty vagina, but eventually I think I

lost lucidity. She moved away from me. I said, "OK, just wait a minute. I held her and asked, "If this is my dream, why don't you want to?" I forgot what she said.

I then saw a man taking pictures of an oil spot in a parking lot, and I was looking for an old Lincoln I used to own.

    3. A Brief WILD

      by , 09-06-2012 at 02:44 AM (Ophelia's Book O' Fun II)
I went to bed late, around 1am, because I stayed up watching underwater dinosaur videos on youtube (TOTMers will understand ). Anyway, I fell right to sleep, but I woke up at about 3:45am and couldn't get back to sleep. I was frustrated because I knew the alarm was going to go off at 6:30 for work. And the frustration was making me more awake. Finally, I heard Danny's daughter get up at about 5:15am, just as I was getting drowsy by going to my "happy place." I rolled over one last time in one of my prime positions for LDing, not intending to LD, but rather get comfortable so I could get at least one more hour of sleep After a few minutes, I got the vibrations. As usual, just a few cycles would wave over me, and I am getting better and better at focusing the vibrations. It's hard to explain, but sometimes I can control them and intensify them, which catalyzes the WILD. After the few cycles, I felt my body slide across the bed involuntarily, like I was being pulled gently across it. Then I opened my dream eyes slowly. I knew I was in a dream immediately because it looked just like the bedroom from our last apartment. The dream character version of Danny was lying next to me, and he got up to get ready to take me to work I'm guessing. I waited for him to leave before getting up myself. I was excited because I couldn't believe I could WILD on a work morning, especially after only a couple hours sleep and a 90 minute WBTB. Anyway, as soon as he left the room, I floated up out of the bed, and flew/floated around the room. I thought to fly all the way up and phase through the ceiling, but I lost momentum and just kinda bounced my hands off it. It's really amazing how I'm starting to copy some of the experiments I read about other LDers trying. Anyway, plan B, I decided to just phase through the wall, since I was always able to go through mirrors. I went through the wall just beside the window, and I remember seeing a layer of sheet-rock in my peripheral vision, then wooden lats, then about 4 inches of empty space, another layer of wood lats, then I was outside. The morning sun was just rising over what sorta looked like my old apartment complex, except I was high up, as if I came out of the 3rd or 4th floor. The grass was bright green and dewy, and the air was cool as I flew between the buildings. As I rounded a corner of one of the buildings, I looked down and saw a big blue and white beach ball. I aimed downward so I could get it and play with it (at no time did I think of the TOTMs, which was fine because I wasn't sure how soon the alarm would go off, and I was just going with it, ya know?). Anyway, I picked up the ball and flew up with it, but the ball got really blurry. I don't think my brain can process all those images at once sometimes lol, so I just dropped it. As I rounded another corner, it turned to night, and I could see downtown Dallas all lit up beautifully like it always is irl. I suddenly realized I was impossibly high up, about to pass over a cliff. It was a little scary at first, but I went for it. I floated easily over the cliff and looked down, there were tall buildings down below, waaaay deep down below.. like Grand Canyon deep. I didn't feel vertigo, just awe. A little way past the canyon was a large field studded with juniper trees. I decided to land and walk around. The grass was so cool and soft. I like being barefoot in my LDs, this is a product of becoming lucid in my sleep environment and pajamas, I think. I turned and looked about 90 degrees, and I saw something way up in the sky. I could never tell what it was because it was too dark, but I'll say this now, I swear it looked like the silhouette of Elliot and E.T. on the flying bicycle. I darted back up and started to fly after it, saying "E.T. phone hoooome" and giggling to myself. "They" kept slowly going higher and higher, and so did I, with one outstretched arm. But I couldn't get to it. Pretty soon I was struggling, and doing a kind of breaststroke to try and reach them (ALSO something I read in another journal..). I couldn't reach them, and I could feel my heart beating like crazy, and I wondered if it was beating that fast in real life, and if this would wake me up. After a few moments, I did wake up, but my heartbeat was totally normal. Isn't that trippy?!?!? That whole dream was maybe 5 minutes, but I felt like I had slept a whole hour.

    4. Lucid success for a moment!

      by , 09-06-2012 at 01:58 AM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
The lucid part of this dream didn't last as long as I wanted it too, but it was so refreshing. The dream setting started out pretty interesting- this is an old T.V. show so I don't know if anyone will understand the reference. There was a Jackie Chan Adventures themed fight going on in my back yard that led to my lucidity this time. Before going to sleep, I was thinking a lot about that show hoping to maybe get to re-live some of my childhood dreams about it. Yesterday I looked it up and watched the final episode out of nostalgia. During this fight one of the main characters Tohru busted the brick wall around my house, but I didn't mind... because it was Tohru.
Anyways, a little time had past and I ran outside of my gate to see where the commotion had gone. I guessed that they had moved the battle to another part of the town. At that point I was put in a bad mood, I realized I didn't get to use any of the talismans or powers that were being traded off by the warriors- and all I was stuck with were the awed by-standers, and these two random school kids that kept on walking around asking if they could trade some coins for something. They had asked everyone around here multiple times throughout the dream, I have no idea what that was about. I decided to ask them what they were trying to buy off of everyone, they answered probably six times without saying the same answer once. The school kid's answers, mixed with the thought of wishing I would have used some of the Jackie Chan Adventures talismans instantly made me realize that I was in a dream. The kids were still trying to talk to me but I flew up and away, realizing it didn't matter. Just then I noticed I began to fly too fast, maybe I was too excited to start off without routing myself in the dream first. So I began to fall back down so I could calmly get used to dream realm without losing grip so quickly. That's where it went bad. I started losing control of where I could look and where I could move. I think that this could be attributed to the state of my sleep, sometimes when I'm dreaming- I begin to lose control and vividness if my physical body isn't feeling well. I got to the ground and found myself in a place that I now will always remember. I've been there countless times in other dreams, but I didn't notice how repeditive it was until now. It's a very beautiful and colorful forest with hundred-feet-tall trees that always(!) forms itself if I begin a flying dream near my house where I'm lacking in control still. Some green trees, some red trees, and some other small variations, it's beautiful. What's strange to me is this time, I flew down to the ground and the last thing I saw as the dream showed me my focus wasn't cutting it yet- in the forest was a submarine that I've seen there before. The last time I saw it, I had to look around quite a bit first- but there it was. Half submerged into the ground surrounded by shrubs and rocks. I thought it was so strange that I forgot this place. I guess it's my brains way of telling me goodbye. I have made it past that forest before, but it takes a lot and this dream wasn't up for it. I had one other noteably awesome dream after this one that I'll write down in a bit.

    5. *LUCID* DEILD Flying Nephews

by , 09-05-2012 at 09:26 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      NLD Black
      Side Notes Blue
      Lucid Red

My wife woke me but about 4am. She asked me to change baby's diaper. He's been awake for some time and she's tired. I do it. I feel irritable but let it go. I decide this will be a good time to WBTB. I bring him back and we snuggle and all sleep. I do a little bit of MILD. I quickly set intention and mantra. This time I chose "I am dreaming." I find that it helps to change mantra so that it doesn't lose meaning. As I was laying there I remembered that I haven't looked at TOTM yet and have no clue. I almost got on the PC but I felt really tired. I wanted decide on what I wanted to do but decided I would just be happy if I got lucid. I figure I would just play in my environment and have some fun.

I have some non lucid dream about a laser beam showing on the wall in my kitchen. It freaks me out. I look over the wooden half blinds at my niehbors kitchen. (I can do this in real life...odd I know) I see the guy but he is totally oblivious to me. I get really creeped out for some reason and wake up scared and heart pounding.

I remember DEILD. I hit SP. YES! I am so happy I know I am on my way to a lucid. NO! I tell myself to be calm. I do a calming meditation. SP subsides and I wonder if it is go time. I hesitate and them I just get out of bed. It feels so real but I am pretty sure its a dream. I can't see anything. I feel my way out of the room. I think about the mirror on the way out but it feels too solid so I let it pass. I remain calm and try to imagine the dining/living room. I can see for a few seconds and then its black. I feel my way outside. I leap off the porch and float up and now I can see. The night sky is full of bright stars. I brush past tree branches. I just sort of float and feel a rush of euphoria. The wind blows and I am carried away at high speeds. I can feel something like G forces and I am exhilaration and let out a screech of excitement. I feel like I can hear my real voice and wonder if my wife can hear me. My voice sounds muffled and strained. For a moment everything goes black again. I do a calming and relax. I float. I try to open my eyes but it feels like my real eyes. I can my own face like a reflection in glass with the stars and clouds behind it. I close my eyes and relax and just focus on making HI. I feel the exhilaration again and I can hear really loud SP noise. It sounds almost like high winds.

Suddenly I see two of my nephews. They are flying with me. I grab on to one and focus on feeling with my hands. I feel like the dream is fading again so I grab him close to me almost like we are spooning. It wasn't as weird as it sounds. I was just using whatever I had available to stabilize. I tell him to make a vortex because I wanted to go someplace else. I tell him over and over. I either close my eyes or I loose my vision.

Suddenly the three of us are standing in my kitchen. At this point I become aware that I have been repeating my mantra over and over but in the back of my mind and not as real internal dialogue. I note it and am pleased with myself. I look around and and was going to tell him to make a vortex again but realize there was no need. I say, "Oh never-mind. We are back." The dream shifts and we are in the sun room. I remember that I wanted to get used to talking to DCs so I ask my nephew a question. "What is you name?"
      He replies, "Offers night."
"What?" I didn't understand him at first but as soon as I said 'what' it came clear. the rest of the conversation went like this. He would talk and as soon as I said 'what' it came to me before he could repeat himself. It was really odd. I ask him, "What does that mean?"
And he says, "I'll tell you later."

I suddenly remember my other nephew. I feel like he is standing behind me and I get an eerie feeling. I feel the same kind of fear as I did in the previous dream. At that point I lose all focus and the dream fades and I wake up.

I thought about DEILDing again but I really wanted to remember my LD and felt really excited about it. I look at the time. 4:40am. I note that I slept about 35min since WBTB

I later have some dream about trying to cut the head of my penis off with scissors. I get so far as to have a bloody ring around it and realize what the hell I am doing. I freak out. I realize that I thought it would just grow back but I have no idea why I am doing it. I feel like it hurts without real pain. Maybe I was just thinking about my son circumcision? Bleh.

    6. (Lucid) Chased into Danger. August 31st 2012

by , 09-05-2012 at 07:16 PM (Dream Journal)
      Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

It's great to end August with a Lucid Dream, although it wasn't the best. Still good to have one!

I started off, non-lucid in a car park. It seemed like the car park outside the hospital, but the hospital was actually a night club. There was a group of people going inside the door. It was very dark, so the door was the only light source for where I was. I was with two of my friends and this old Indian lady. Apparently I had spoken to her in a disrespectful way, although I never said anything. Naturally, I ran away at a fast pace. The woman sent her daughter to chase after me. I ran in and out of the cars, until I reached, what looked like, and pub. I hid behind a chair, and gazed out across an ocean (which isn't even near my house...). There were other chairs, which looked like the metal ones that are placed outside of a cafe or something. It only took a few seconds before the girl noticed me, then proceeded to chase me again. I got up and ran to the right, towards the ocean. I ended up at my street, but it was day time and I couldn't see the girl. I ran to the end of the street then turned right, into a dead end street. I nose plugged and it worked a little. Not that well, but it got me lucid. I was not completely aware that I was dreaming, but I looked around for things that should not be here. I turned around, expecting to see the girl, but instead I saw a woman watering a tree. The tree started to fall, causing me to say "See, that's not normal, I must be dreaming...". I didn't even flinch, but it hit the floor really hard, about 2-3 meters away from me. I felt the dream fade into grey and I woke up.

    7. (Lucid) Failed Flying Attempts. August 26th 2012.

by , 09-05-2012 at 07:02 PM (Dream Journal)
      Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

This was an okay Lucid. I managed to have a little control over the dreamscape. My nose plug worked incredibly well, too.

I started off lucid, right as the dream appeared. It felt really weird, the dream faded in from a grey background with silver flying patterns. As the dreamscape "loaded" I was looking down at the floor. I was in my house on the upper floor outside my bathroom. I pinched my nose, not expecting anything, then suddenly...I could breathe! It was very shocking because I did not expect a huge gust of air to blow out of my nose. I then looked around, then at my sister's bedroom. I noticed the window was wide open, so I thought about jumping out and flying. As I walked over to the window, I stabilized and reality checked again, just to keep myself from waking up. I decided not to jump out of the window, instead, I jumped up into the sky, straight through the ceiling not expecting anything to change. As I exited the roof, I saw a HUGE city just like London at it's old times. The buildings were brown, the sky was almost dark, the stars were appearing and the sun was setting. The sun was not very big though, neither was the orange glow around it. I still thought it looked nice though. On my way back down to the houses, I quickly teleported to a road, in the daylight. I thought about flying there. I think it was the hospital car park that I was in, but it had a road going through it. I jumped into the air, not very high, only about 2 meters. The dream faded quickly as I fell back down.

It was quite long - longer than most of my lucids already. It was great that I got lucid right at the start as well.

    8. The Kid Is Not My Son

      by , 09-05-2012 at 05:52 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #14: The Kid Is Not My Son

Wife and I are attending a class led by my neighbor K, who is for some reason now a history professor. He's giving an interesting lecture on the early 20th century and every student in the class is captivated by his talk.

One very attractive student (who identifies herself as "Melinda") is shamelessly flirting with him. I lean over to Wife and whisper this to her but she insists that she hasn't noticed it.

I look to my right and notice that there's a mirror running the length of the wall. I see myself in this mirror except slightly from the back. Also apparent from my reflection is that I have chosen to attend class wearing no shirt. The combination of these two oddities
      brings me into lucidity.

My hair is cut short just like waking life but my physique is leaner and more muscular than in reality. I rub my hands together and my beefcake reflection does a perfect replica. Clarity is very, very high. I remark out loud that, "This lucidity is just incredible." Wife verbally agrees, "It really is! But quit checking yourself out in the mirror." I laugh because she totally caught me.

All of the students and Professor K are looking at me now. I see that Melinda is now wearing a Baby Bjorn that contains a squirming little blonde baby. Melinda looks Asian or half-Asian so the blonde hair is a bit of a surprise. A bigger surprise still is when Melinda says, "It's yours."

I'm left shocked and stammering for a response/denial/whimper. Melinda laughs, saying, "Not him! He's mine. She's yours." She points to my left. A nurse in scrubs and a surgical mask walks up to me and hands me a brown-haired little girl of about one. The little girl reaches for my nose and smiles up at me. I'm about to look for Wife's response to all of this
      but I wake up.

    9. Dad's Dream Journal

      by , 09-05-2012 at 05:24 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #13: Dad's Dream Journal

My dad has started a dream journal and he's looking for my advice on lucid dreaming. For some reason, he secretly dead drops the journal to me in the back of a car. I have to pick it up late at night to make sure that nobody finds out that he's keeping a dream journal.

His journal describes a dream that he had falling asleep in a chair. I read through it and conclude that he was very close to a WILD. I'm very happy for him and attempt to place a rah-rah green check mark in the margin of his DJ. To my astonishment, it comes out as a boldfaced "left 2". I wonder what the hell is going on and decide to reality check "just in case". I use the nose pinch RC
      and instantly become lucid.

My sudden lucidity shocks me into a false awakening in the hotel room I am sharing with Wife. I know that it's a false awakening because I still have the nose pinch clamped down and I'm still breathing freely. I get up out of bed but the sheets are wrapped tightly around me. I flail and struggle to free myself from the sheets and finally fling them across the room.

The room's incredibly dark and I can barely see anything. I feel on the wall, expecting to find a light switch. I flick it on and rather than illuminating the room it causes a very dim light to come on outside. I feel for another switch and this one seems to turn on a dim bathroom light behind me, but this soon goes out. I'm looking for another switch when the room's air conditioning suddenly roars to life and
I awaken to the sound of the (very loud) hotel room A/C.

These dark rooms can be tricky! Next time I may try just walking through doors as quickly as I can. I saw that OpheliaBlue had some success using that to escape darkness. If that doesn't work, perhaps I'll just hurl myself off of an imaginary cliff again and try my luck.

    10. DEILD Chain #2

by , 09-05-2012 at 03:46 PM (Magic Box)
I had another DEILD chain when I took a nap this afternoon.

      1. Had a DILD where I spontaneously got lucid. I managed to summon an ice cream for my dream food goal, but instead of a cone, it was a banana I was holding, with strawberry and cookies on top. I changed it to a proper cone, which was awesome because I could see the banana morphing right before my eyes. I woke up while eating the ice cream.

      2. Stayed still and imagined the last scene with the ice cream, and entered the dream again. This time there was an ocean near me, and I considered doing the TOTM but I chickened out (ophie you're right, oceans are kinda creepy esp at nighttime). I decided to do my month goals instead, and I remembered to flip a table. I summoned a large wooden table, and flipped it. It wasn't as heavy as I'd thought it would be. I put it upright and flipped it one more time. Then my mom entered my room and I woke up again.

      3. I DEILDed again, and I was glad my mom left right away and didn't wake me up. I yelled out for my dream guide a few times while walking around touching objects like the trees and rubbing my hands. I woke up again. Because my mom entered the room yet again.

      4. My mom called me, and I focused real hard on reentering the dream and ignoring her (sorry mom). Success. My mom must've left after I didn't respond. I was back in the last dream scene, and there was an man standing in the corner, looking at me. I tried to go near him, but this time my mom woke me up and shook me until I finally got up.

I was in at party type setting. There were a lot of people surrounding the table I was sitting at. I instantly knew that I was dreaming. I decided to perform a magic show for all the people at my table. I would make a coin disappear and reappear in someone pocket. Everyone around me was amazed. In the middle of all of this a storm showed up. I remember feeling the energy of the thunder and wetness of the rain. Many times I thought this dream is so real I can believe this.

      Non-lucid Lucid Awake

I came back from school at around 2 pm, since we didn't have any classes anymore. I did the SSILD technique until I rolled over and fell asleep.

I was dreaming about a man chasing me in the mall, and he was yelling "La sangre! La sangre!" which means "the blood" in Spanish. I was holding a sealed vial of blood in my hand, and I was apparently hiding it from him. After a long chase scene, we stopped in front of a Korean hairstyle salon, and he suddenly morphed into the Korean guy on the poster. I reality checked and got lucid.

      (1) The guy vanished, and everything went really dark, like the mall was closed already. I tried shouting "Clarity!", "Light!", and some other commands, but nothing worked. I was afraid a monster was gonna pop out of the darkness. I was not necessarily afraid of monsters, but they might shock me into non-lucidity or wake me up. So I decided to lean against the wall and imagining coming out of a new dream scene on the other side. I closed my eyes, and felt like I was sinking into the wall. A few seconds later, I heard a distinct sound of a door creaking. The sound was very vivid, that I was awed while I was hearing it. When I opened my eyes, I had apparently gone through a door and ended up in my classroom, with my classmates and professor having a lecture. Cool, I thought. I changed dream scenes! I must have been smiling like an idiot by then. I walked around the back of the room, not minding the DCs having a class. I saw a door and entered. It was a really weirdly-shaped bathroom, with uneven corners and deformed structures inside. Then the whole room started to shrink or something. It felt really tight too, until I woke up from the dream altogether.

      (2) I stayed still when I noticed I had woken up. I started seeing blobs of white moving before my eyelids. At the same time, I noticed my head was throbbing too, like there was pressure inside it. It was very uncomfortable and borderline painful, but I knew it was all in my mind so that helped me to not panic. The white blobs looked really bright, until it just vanished, and I found myself in a room with several people. I was very amazed that the DEILD had worked, and that I was lucid all throughout the transition. The people in the room looked about my age. This time, I had no control though. I couldn't summon anything, nor could I fly out of the room to do other stuff. Someone mentioned that everyone in that room was a mutant, like in X-Men. A girl went to the corner and told us to stay on the other side. To my surprise, she turned into a huge shark. Like, HUGE. She filled half the room, and it was weird because..well she was a shark, on the concrete floor in the middle of a room. Lol. I started to wake up again.

      (3) I knew I had just exited a lucid dream, so I attempted to do a DEILD chain. I stayed still again, and soon enough, the same bright white blobs started moving behind my eyes. It slowly became less intense until I saw that I was in the mall I had just been in before. I immediately tried to remember my monthly goals, and I remembered one of them was to watch an aurora. I started to walk outside, while imagining the sky turning into nighttime, since it was daylight outside and an aurora would be better to look at in the dark. I didn't manage to make it nighttime though, only twilight. So it was still kinda daytime but kinda nighttime as well. Then I saw these really pretty colors. There were streaks of yellow, red and green stretched out like ribbons across the sky. I also noticed that there were some strings that were hanging in front of me, and they seem to have come from somewhere high above me. I pulled them one at a time, and when I did, the ribbons of colors in the sky seemed to be pulled along with the strings, like they were connected. I thought that was really cool. I pulled them some more, making the aurora dance to my liking. Then, I heard a commotion somewhere near me. I ran to a group of people. A man apparently died of a heart attack or something. Then I woke up again.

      (4) I stayed still yet again, knowing I had just woken up from a dream. My heart was racing at this time, because I remember being lucid just a few moments before, and I was excited. This time the blobs behind my eyelids weren't white. In fact, there weren't blobs at all. I just saw black for about 5 seconds, then the dream scene just appeared in front of me. I can't quite explain it, it's like..uhmm.. It's like I was closing my eyes and when I opened them, I was in the dream scene. The dream scene this time was the previous one, minus the people and the aurora. I was still quite aware of everything, so I thought about doing another one of my monthly goals. The one I could remember was to sing. I started singing the first song that came to mind, which was a Taylor Swift song. As I was singing, a band started appearing in front of me. At first they looked like foggy figures, until I reached the chorus, and the band was very vivid. There was a guy on the drums, guitar, bass, and a small guitar-like instrument (I have no idea what it was.) By the time I got to the bridge, I completely forgot the lyrics! I stopped singing, and the band stopped playing. I thought really hard, but I just couldn't remember. I thought about doing another goal, which was to be a mermaid. But before I could do so, I woke up again.

This time I decided to wake myself up completely, because I was afraid I would forget the previous dreams and lucids. I'm not sure if that was a great idea, or a really stupid one. Should I have gone for another DEILD? Or did I make the right choice in waking up and making sure the previous dreams would be remembered and recorded?

    13. Animatronic Pliosaur WILD (AKA failed TOTM)

      by , 09-04-2012 at 07:33 PM (Ophelia's Book O' Fun II)
I woke up at 5:14am when Nicole woke up for school. Then again at 6:45am to get Chris ready for school. I dozed off again and got up at 7:10am to take Chris to school. I went pee, got some water, cleaned a pee puddle because Nicole forgot to let Bella out, then went to bed at about 7:30am. I woke up at 9:34am, then tried to go back to sleep. I lay a while before finally feeling some vibrations. A few waves came over me before I finally got that feeling of sliding involuntarily across the bed. I thought for a moment that I might actually roll off the edge like Xanous does in his DEILDs, but the sliding abruptly stopped. I felt like I was already in a dream, and still aware yay! But when I tried to open my dream eyes, they were glued shut. I was still dreaming, and I could feel my bed, so I just got up and felt for the door, blind and all. I opened the door and went into the hall, feeling my way all the while. I was already thinking about the advanced TOTM, but the chance of regaining my eyesight, going back in time and finding water seemed pretty bleak at this point. I clapped my hands, shouted for more light. I even wiggled my hands in front of my face and could barely make something out, but I was still for the most part blind as a bat. I found another door that doesn't exist irl, and opened it. LIGHT halleluiah! I found myself in an oyster dive, overlooking the ocean. It looked like a delta in the everglades, that stretched out to the gulf. Only thing between me and the water was the front door of the dive and a parking lot and some sand. I went out the screen door, and stepped into the parking lot. I could see the bright orange sun getting close to setting, so I knew I needed to work fast. A little dude dressed in a white suit, who looked like that little guy from Fantasy Island, was there to greet me in his car. He said he would drive me to the shore. I said no thanks, I didn't want to drive or walk because I'm running out of time and the scene tends to change on me when I do that. So I remembered my mistake from my last lucid, and that I should have flown to my destination. So I did a little running start, and managed to fly/hop like a wounded bird and quickly made it to the shore. The little dude met me there in his car anyway. It was still light out, but the sun had just set. And the water now looked black, arrrghhhh. I think of the task and don't want to blow it, so I bravely step into the water and start walking to the deeper part, preparing to dive in. I don't know how I'm going to see down there, and I'm not even in the Cretaceous Era. So I'm about shin deep now, and as I'm pondering how I can make time travel and light happen, I see two somethings under the water, racing straight for me, creating huge wakes. I turned around and ran straight out of the water, and angled right. I looked over my shoulder, and the little dude was still on the beach. Two gigantic animatronic pliosaurs shot out of the water, and one of them ate the little dude! I just kept running along the beach. I was having a hard time running AWAY from the beach, more like I just kept running along the shore line. I lost my sight again and either went nonlucid or woke up briefly, I can't remember.

I'm glad I had my 3rd successful WILD with no breaks in consciousness, and that I made it in the water at least somewhat. And hell, my subC was even able to conjure some cretaceous beasts, so I feel like it was half the battle. Facing those beasts again though is going to be a struggle, especially since now I know I left one of them hungry:

      19th Lucid Dream:
I was back in school with all my old friends and for some reason I had taken my dream journal with me. Somebody asked me what it was and I avoided the subject in fear of them reading my dreams.

After a short while of talking about all kinds of subjects (most of which I don't even recall) we got back onto the subject of lucid dreaming. Apparently one of my friends had a lucid dream by accident and everyone was calling her crazy for thinking she could have had this experience. I whipped out my dream journal to prove to them that it did exist. When they were all convinced we started talking about fun things to do in a lucid dream. Somebody was talking about how awesome it would be to have a really dark and sadistic dream. I decided to see if I could have a lucid nap, so I laid my head on the desk and "fell asleep", despite already being asleep.

There was a pretty instant scene transition and I was immediately lucid. I was at the bottom of this beautiful grassy hill with white fences leading up a paved path and at the top a castle with a huge, grand entrance. I climbed the hill and upon reaching the top I recall reading something about following different signs in a dream for the style of dream you want to have. In this case I had two very distinct paths, an angelic, glowing white entrance to this castle and a dark, dead graveyard-looking scene to the right hand side.

I was compelled to head towards the dark path, considering the conversation I had in the non-lucid prior to this. I jumped down off the small ledge and ended up in what looked like a dead wheat field. It was all dark greys with these blood-coloured crystals scattered around embedded in stone pillars. In the middle was a ruined stone shack and I climbed up on top of it. Below was a cellar which had been exposed, and I was ready to jump down into it.

Before jumping I figured I would reality check to solidify my lucidity. As I did the scene became increasingly vivid and I began thinking about the fact that when I woke I would have to write down this dream in the middle of the class that I had fell asleep in. Not knowing that the previous experience was just a dream and I was actually asleep in bed.

I jumped down inside, it was an extremely enclosed space of ruined stone walls. Through a hole in one of the walls I saw these stones moving about by themselves. I slipped through the hole and on the other side I saw all of these stones come together and form a sort of earth elemental creature. He charged at me but I grabbed hold of his stone hand and swung him around in circles, like I was doing an around-the-world with a yo-yo, and let him go, smashing him into the ground and breaking him apart. He reformed and almost squashed me amongst all of the rocks coming together on top of me, but I ducked and managed to avoid it.

I noticed more of these stone creatures forming to guard this bridge in the distance so to kill two birds with one stone (no pun intended) I ran up to this closest earth elemental and avoided the sword he started slashing at me. I grabbed hold of him again and launched him the other earth elementals in the distance, smashing them all to pieces.

As I started walking up to the bridge, the dream faded to black and I woke.

      20th Lucid Dream:
I was sitting in my kitchen with my parents, I can't remember what we were talking about but I do remember the torrential rainfall occurring outside.

At some point the rain briefly stopped before snow started gushing out of the sky. It got increasingly large until snowball-sized snowflakes were falling down. I was convinced that I wasn't dreaming, but I seemed to get the idea to reality check anyway.

As I checked my hands, I was baffled when I discovered I was in fact dreaming. I had to check multiple times to believe it. I stood up and headed to the door, and instead of opening it to go outside like I've done in my previous dreams I figured I would just phase through it.

I walked through and I got the same sense walking through it as I did when I scene transitioned when walking through a wall in a previous dream. All of the images rushed by my view, clearing way for pitch blackness. I was sitting in a sort of void, waiting for a new scene to form but nothing was coming, I was just a floating consciousness in the pitch blackness without a body.

Somehow, I started walking regardless. I was stepping aimlessly through the darkness and trying to come up with a scene that I could create. My attempts, however, were futile. As I continued walking I seemed to just step into the waking world and found myself back in my bed.
    15. Submarine Train

      by , 09-04-2012 at 08:44 AM
I climbed aboard an old steam train, for a tour. I went ahead of the tour, since I knew my way around already. I made it into a race of some sort, where I went from carriage to carriage looking following where I knew the tour would go, being careful that nobody from the tour could ever be quick enough to see me. I now thought of the train as a retired submarine which had been put inland as a tourist attraction. I hopped off, and started running alongside it (it was very long). Since I wanted to run fast, I went on all fours. Realised it was a dream, but was tricked into thinking that if I went fully lucid I would awake, so I gave up lucidity.

Suddenly I was in the back yard of my parents' house, which was actually the art house from my previous dream. Nikolas was with me, and Gordon the dog was there too, by the back fence. Suddenly, Gordon started to vomit profusely, and I quickly took Nikolas inside away from him. We went in by the laundry door, and up the steps.
