Lucid Dreams
Morning of January 28, 2020. Tuesday. Dream #: 19,398-03. Reading time: 1 min 6 sec. In emerging from slow-wave sleep near the middle of my sleep cycle, a dream sometimes starts with the association of something having been underground, a natural precursor to consciousness emergence. It is more likely to occur when the beginning of my sleep cycle has countless vivid images of sand or dirt flowing over and into various rocky formations of inexplicable beauty and realistic detail, nearly as appealing as water-related renderings (which have been at the beginning of every sleep cycle since earliest memory). Both types of induction sequences become more populated with sightings of cave entrances, which signify my anticipation of entering deeper sleep. My dream has a simplistic reinduction narrative. It seems to be nighttime, and about seven soldiers in military camouflage, who are passive to my presence, are here to do some digging. There is no waking process personification or a sense of intrusion here, as it is not near the end of my sleep cycle. Instead, the process focuses on reinduction by summoning water. Even so, a thread of emerging consciousness results in a defined association with the color yellow (rare in dreaming in this mode, occurring mainly in later dreams of my sleep cycle with a more defined waking directive). I look down into a hole in the ground and see a yellow pool pump with a black cord attached. I anticipate the soldiers and I will uncover a large swimming pool, though I neither contemplate how the swimming pool will eventually be at ground level nor the impossibility of such an outcome. I wander around the area with emerging thoughts of dream state reinduction, but my dream fades instead, without the presence of water.
I was semi-lucid throughout the dream. I was kindof aware it was a dream, but it was basically a layer two. Most of the dream was spent with me walking circles around an fps map with a gun that could auto-aim as long as you're pointed in their general direction. There was only one opponent at the time so I didn't really get any action. I eventually found myself in a central point of the map where several people were gathered. The scene shifted as I was now in some sort of 2 story home with several tables about and people of all sorts waiting for some event to begin. I used telekinesis to break some glass and shift about some plates and cups off the tables, causing general destruction. The physics were all weird, so things were hard to move and they didn't fly very far. Sometimes they'd just slowly drift in the air. Some people were disturbed, but most people were just bothered that I kept making a mess. One old lady was different. She had a look on her face like something wasn't right. She recognized that this isn't how reality is meant to be at all. She asked me what was going on with her hand. She had a ring wrapped around her middle knuckle, fused into her hand. I told her she must be dreaming and that she would be able to control the dream if she realizes that fact. I then go downstairs to leave the home and as I get near the door someone on the floor grips my ankle and I can no longer drift away. As I look around I notice a full blown yonko from one piece ready to attack me while I'm trapped. I manage to make it outside with them chasing me. I start making slow progress into the air to escape, but I'm still dragged down by something. Unsure if it was the person who was still holding me or something else. I then noticed two more yonko appear as well as these enormous versions of the same yonko appear on the horizon. These things were unbelievably tall. Like bigger than any mountain you'd ever see tall. I kept getting beat into the air by the yonko as they took turns smacking me with their full might. They then all hit at once and I flew straight through one of the giant yonko and left a hole in them as I woke up. Which yonko they were idk, but I'd assume big mom first; then big mom, kaido, and blackbeard. This whole last scene from the moment the old lady asked me what was going on until the dream ended only lasted about 38 seconds, or at least that was the final thought I had as I woke up.
I wrote in my dream journal a lot this week, but did so in poor lighting, with poor posture, and while half asleep so I can't read most of it now. So this is what I can gather, from this week. I had quite a few vivid dreams for some reason. - Some sort of Star Wars like dream. There was a "ghost wall" or invisible shield, and a desert on an alien planet. I was an intergalactic warrior of some sort, I think. Or traveler. - I had a dream about lucid dreaming, which was pretty cool. In that lucid dream, I flew over the ocean. However, I had somewhat of a false awakening after that; I think into a previous dream? - A dream about Brandon Sanderson (who I am currently taking a class from!), which involved horror, a false awakening (possibly the same one as before?) and a boardwalk! - The boardwalk had a very cool looking thrill ride, with two huge spinning cars. A friend of mine was there, and my brother. - I dreamt that the local amusement park had moved closer to me, so I could walk to it! I could also fly. - something about the Little Mermaid? lol - something about a creepy mirror - season pass to something (maybe the boardwalk or amusement park?) - Dreamt that I was falsely accused at work for making obscene jokes. This is funny because we do this all the time at work and no one cares. - Two other guys I knew from the past, "Dylan" and "Maz", as I'll call them, were...working? I can't read my handwriting. I swear I normally have nice handwriting. Just not when I wake up at 3 AM to write a dream down. D: I'm still gonna count that false awakening one as lucid, though!
I found myself in a warehouse where I usually work in waking life. I was talking to a co-worker and he tried to show me this paper. As I took it from him and tried to focus my eyes on it, I realize my vision was very blurry. I thought this was odd due to the fact that I wear contacts. I remember looking around and realize everything around me was very blurry. Almost to total darkness. I started to pick at my eyeball to remove the contacts. That's when everything went in to total darkness as I started to realize I was lucid dreaming. I could still feel my dream body but then even that went away and I could feel my physical body laying in bed. I made sure my eyes were close and my body was still unable to move. With in a few short seconds I felt consciousness zap back in to the dream world. My dream body felt like it was in tremendous pain. I could feel myself getting up from the floor. As I look around I notice I was in outer space inside a space ship. I couldn't believe it lol. This is the first time I am in outer space lucid anyway. I went up to the large window and saw the stars and the colored gas around me. It was amazing, I then went through some odd technology that got me to the other parts of the ship. This ship was huge inside, had many places with a lot of zig zag like passages. I continue walking as I saw an eye of ra sign stamp on one of the windows. I then finally saw people and I could now tell the dream scene change to me being outside and no longer in space. I walk through a couple of people and didn't bother talking to any of them. I then approach these 3 very tall women and told them they seem odd. They didn't like what I said and sent two goons that came out of no where. Once I saw this I began to laugh and start running. They follow me to this gate where I decided to use some dream control and made float up to the gate and glue them on there. I then started climbing a rope to see how far I could get up top the house without feeling physically fatigue. I then saw the guys break free of their confinement and began chasing me again. I jogged through grass feeling great. I felt I could stay in this dream for a very long time. I then continue jogging in till I saw another co-worker of mine. I began talking to her after we greeted each up and I was just stunned that she appeared exactly as a replica in waking life. I had to assure myself that I was indeed dreaming. She sounded the same too and I explore the dream world with and explain to her what this was. Since I know in waking life she likes to question everything. Soon my brother came along and talk to me. After that I wanted to wake up and made myself awaken.
I really just wanted to sleep and didn't want to do anything else. I had gotten up out of my bed because I knew I had to deal with a lot of stuff in waking life and just decided to forget about it for now. I went back in my bed and fell asleep. I found myself experiencing images flashing and soon I was able to walk around with in the darkness. There still was no dream but I was able to start using my dream body. However I eventually lost awareness of myself in the darkness because nothing was happening and no image would remain solid. I eventually enter a dream non-lucid. In the dream I found myself at a grocery store and I was on top of a shelf of can goods. A cashier woman saw me up and there and before I knew it she was tapping me on my shoulder. I turn around to face her but she wasn't behind me and was now on the side that I had previously turned from. I turn again but she had moved to the opposite direction again. She then pushed me to the shelf, making me completely laying on it on my front side only. And started to put pressure on my back side. This began to hurt to the point of where I became lucid. I didn't know what she was trying to do but I got my hand and was trying to sway it around to signal her to stop. Massaging was definitely not her best job. It didn't work though, so I had tried to switch the dream to a different scene. Instead images kept floating around and eventually I just lost lucidity again with in the darkness. One image did finally arrive and solidify itself with in the pending darkness. Once it did, I regain lucidity instantly like a bad habit. I remember this image from earlier I said, now it was a dream. I began moving around and saw the other grocery store that I tried to enter. I waited in line with other people as I observe the environment. The place was beginning to darken, I tried to cut in line and see what they had in some places. I went through a few rooms to see people partying and couches being place around. The grocery store had now became a place of run down party. With a lot of people either eating or drinking while dancing. Some guy shove my arm and I told him to stop bothering me and went about my business. I then notice the dream getting too dark and realize I was returning back to the complete blackness that awaited me. I decided I was going to hold on to my consciousness as long as I could as I grew tired of constantly going in and out of awareness. I also tired to rub my hands together to stabilize the dream but it was too late. I was in total darkness now and something different happen this time as I held on as much as I could. I felt my consciousness zip out from the darkness like a vortex, it made this swooshing sound as it sent me back to my body in bed. The pressure felt quite intense, I wasn't sure what happened or if I was awake in my bed now in waking life. But something felt very different. My body felt way lighter and I felt stuck. As I tried to move it felt like I was ripping out of another body. My arm was like half stuck in it, I still had my eyes close but felt the immediate urge to open them. As I did it was like seeing from another eye as I could faintly see my room from where I was laying down. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not but I all of a sudden I realize I couldn't breathe. I was trying to breathe but nothing was happening. I began to panic and this made me lose my focus and woke up in the same position I was previously in at my bed.
I had a lucid dream using meditation this morning. Went back to bed at 7:48 a.m and woke up again at 8:15 a.m. I find myself in my bedroom. I focus my intent on my desk to manipulate some shadows in a cat. Then, a real cat appears outside one of my windows. I look outside the window and I see my house floating high above Earth. There are land masses covered in ice and use my intent to manipulate the ice caps. I leave my bedroom and go outside. I see my mom, niece and dad along the way. I am in my front yard and it is early morning before sunrise. I call out for one of my dream characters and she appears via my neighbor's door way. We greet each other and continue walking down the street. She disappears. I try to summon lightning and the clouds above gently flash with light for a moment. I continue walking until I am on another street. I see two children with backpacks in front of their homes presumably waiting for the school bus. I attempt to re-summon my dream guide from before so we can decide the adventure we want to embark on. No dice.
I am on a computer, looking through files. I’m trying to find papers from an earlier part of the dream where I’d stayed after a math class drawing, and the teacher had brought over a stack of graded assignments he’d apparently been working on while I sat there. I’d just glanced at them and seen that’d I’d done really well on them before taking off, but now I want a closer look, and this was apparently where they were. I scroll through small pictures, some of which began to move. One has expanded to fill the whole screen. It shows a house on fire, people running out. It scrolls past a small stage on which two double basses stand, one the traditional sort, another more metallic – electric by the look of it, but still a roughly double bass size and shape. It sits in a sort of flower-shaped metal pad. It catches my attention, and I’m struck by the level of detail. I am now – not sure in what order – both present in the dream and lucid. I’m in a park-like area, a clearing with groves of trees and some woods not far off. Another stage is nearby, this one a roofed circular platform on which sits another of those big electric basses. I consider giving it a try – that could be fun. But it occurs to me that I’ve never produced frightening scenarios in lucid dreams before, and I should try it at least once. Surrounded by demons is the first thing that occurs to me for some reason. That’ll do. I will them into being. As I focus on the intention, everything around me grows dark, swirling and immaterial. I’m floating, moving vaguely backwards. But nothing else seems to be happening. Oh, well. Maybe I’ll give that bass a try after all. I let go of the intention. The original scene immediately returns, and I walk back towards the area I started out in. But not far from it, by a ridge in front of a forested area, I spot a strange figure. Its head looks like a skull, bovine in shape, with horns that curl around to the front and knot around each other, and it’s wearing a black and white herringbone tweed blazer with a thin purple scarf and a long grey-black skirt. It looks like I managed something, at least, although I can’t say it’s especially scary. As I approach, it waves its hand, causing a small sphere of darkness to shoot towards me. This startles me a bit, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. I keep walking towards it, ignoring its attacks. As I pass the pavilion, I notice the instrument sitting there looks different now. There are also now a number of cats up under the roof, lying in big cat piles that seem to extend upward into tunnels. They seem to just be waking up. The grey and orange tabbies stay where they are, but a few black cats stretch and jump down onto the stage. As I turn back towards the figure, I see that it is now a cat as well – a small black one. I pick it up. It doesn’t look happy with being held, but it makes no attempt to escape. At that point, I wake up. 9.1.20
Had 4 Lucid dreams, it was lit.
Dark Just a dream of being in a dark room or something. Jamie was there holding me i think. I feel she's just letting me know she's still around. Lucid Was at my house outside.I flew up and became lucid. I wanted to visit Jamie. I was flying over a green field and saw a house with green peeling paint on the outside covered in branches. I tested to see if it was Jamie' house. knocked on the door and a young blonde woman answered. i asked if Jamie was there and she said, "yes,". I saw to the left a living room and a girl with long brown hair about Jamie's color got up from a couch and headed to the door. I was watching her friend, the blonde woman, Who was standing in front of a tv screen loading a game. The woman got sucked into the tv screen, and i saw another screen flash behind that one. I know me and Asuka Go into TV screens when we watch a movie... I wonder Sometime later I'm not lucid, I'm on a couch cuddling with jamie watching a movie. She gets mad for seemingly no reason and transforms herself into a man to seem unattractive. she gets up and shuts off my TV and surrounds herself with 3 tvs and starts playing fortnite... umm ok. I ask for the remote back because I wanna finish watching me show. She says no. Dumb dream. I was with a friend I use to work with at Mcdonald's. We went to a mall and met up with a fortnite youtuber I don't really care for at all. He seems really depressed at the mall like he's sick of the game he's playing. I forget all of what happens.
I found myself in a false awakening and awoken again. I got out of my bed and was began talking to my grandmother who decided to check on me. She asked me would I like to eat any chicken and I replied with yes. She then ask me would I like anything else with that and I told her no. She insist on asking me again and I was like nah. So she made herself out the door so i could get myself together and head out of this crib. As I got myself out of bed and walk in to the living room. I could see my father in another room and saw my grandmother in the kitchen. I went in to the restroom in the living room. I began to look at myself in the mirror and notice my hair was definitely a mess after sleeping for so long. I began to put water on my hands and tried to slick my hair back but it wasn't doing anything. So I began to feel funny about all of this. I started to question stuff like who am I and what have I been doing all this time. That's when I didn't really trust where I was and the idea to check my fingers came to mind. I could hear my grandmother voice walking pass the door I am in saying the food is done in the kitchen. I look at my fingers to see it's all distorted and bent like. That's when I knew I was in a dream and that I needed to do different things. I got out of the restroom and could see my grandmother going up the stairs. That's when I ran to the door and phase through it and was outside. It was night , all of sudden I could hear my grandmother feet walking down the stairs and began banging the front door. She knew I was awake and I could her presence getting closer to me. I decided to try to fly but I felt it failed and I lost my concentration. That's when I experience another false awakening.
Morning of January 3, 2020. Friday. Dream #: 19,373-01. Reading time (optimized): 1 min 30 sec. Water and its essence remain one of the most beautiful and appealing factors of dreaming. That is because bodies of water signify the state of sleep and its dynamics and sleep is bliss (as the virtually countless commercial recordings utilizing the sound of water to induce sleep verifies). It also expresses the fluidity of the dream state’s imaginary physicality with its abandonment of defined muscularity. I instinctually enter a more vivid status of imaginary proprioception without drop anticipation (as a result of my vestibular cortex nuances in sleep-wake mediation). I fly slowly near Niagara Falls. The water is luminescent, and its flow is enrapturing. When I fly directly in front of the waterfall, there is a shadow that has more definition than it would in reality. It is not my body’s shape, but the longways silhouette of a helicopter. It tips to the left at about 45 degrees as I occupy myself with thoughts of diving into the refreshing water. I am not a helicopter in this scene (only my body’s shadow is), but a vehicle signifies the extension of imaginary physicality while in the dream state. A helicopter’s status in contrast to an airplane in a situation like this implies more cognizance in emergence. The waterfall briefly becomes a curtain of turquoise and cyan silk ribbons, some swaying out as if with a breeze from within, as wall mediation initiates. Looking to my right again, I see the helicopter silhouette has transformed into a hake (fish) silhouette of the same size and orientation, though briefly, ambiguity dictates that the shadow is both hake and helicopter. To oblige the illusion, I perform butterfly stroke swimming motions as I fly downward. Instead of entering the water, I become incorporeal and remain in abstract space for a time. A dream with similar sleep-wake mediation is “Helicopter Digger” from August 23, 1987. In that dream, a helicopter dives to the ground while a friend and I are fishing. Instead of crashing, it becomes a digging machine, the rotary blades churning the soil as if with a purpose as it enters the ground while tipped to the front at about 45 degrees. Typically, going underground indicates anticipation of returning to slow-wave sleep, whereas diving into water implies acknowledgment of REM sleep.
Had some fun dream today. Was lucid most of the time inside dreams last night. I did lose track of staying aware that I'm dreaming in the last dream though; I think it was the dream plot. I did wbtb for 30 min. And just instead of wanting to be lucid or something, I just tried to focus on the dream goal more. I guess also I decided to let go of everything else when it's time to LD. To like forget about the daily troubles or whatever and just focus fully on LD after wbtb. I always woke up and thought about something unrelated. DJ helps, because you are thinking about dreaming right after you wake up or FA. But I guess the first thing you think about needs to be LD after you fall asleep and/or when you wake up. I suppose around 3 dream goals also helps to curb the unrelated thoughts in a way. Too many things at once might disperse your energy a bit too much though. Focusing on about 3 things? Maybe around 5 max. I was very 'awake' so to speak in my dreams. I suppose not very awake during the beginning but I focused on my hands, and that helped to deepen the dream. And then focusing on the dream goal helped to keep my thoughts from wandering and becoming non-lucid. Dreams: I FA and decided to move to another bedroom since something was bothering me. I begin to hear sounds, sort of like ringing and it's familiar to me. When I heard it and focus on it I can usually get lucid or wild or AP or whatever you call it. Half the time I remember that it works, the other half, like today, I just have to keep doing random stuff and something eventually works. I am in a wide porcelain hallway with sunshine brilliantly illuminating the whole place. I keep my hands in front of me to help stablize the dream as I explore the place. I remember my dream goal and thought whether I should teleport. But I thought I could probably just summon a DC to help me out. I just expected someone who can help me to be behind me? No one there, but to the left there was a blob of flesh with googly eyes and huge lips (no nose though I think). It had thin straw like legs and wore pair of shoes. I actually don't think it had arms. Just a pair of legs. Anyways I ask it about how to be lucid all the time or something. It told me to look for "omnicut." I asked what is omnicut and he remained silent and wouldn't answer me questions. I just thought that I'll just find someone else to help me and another blob person decided to pop up behind him to the right. I asked this blob bob about omnicut and he said that he knew about it and can take me to it. I wanted to go. I awake but was determined to get back into the dream. I was back into the dream but was at a very narrow cliff. We were barely not falling off from the path that was about the half the width of a hand. Some time had passed from the previous scene and I was with blob bob and his friend, who was also not human - to find the omnicut. Behind us was a beast with 6 legs. It was also a blob head with 6 spongebob legs growing from the bottom. It was much taller though, like 3-4 meters tall? It was chasing after us, trying to eat us. The dream tells me that the blob bobs hunted this beast and extracted from it a substance called the omnicut to induce lucidity amongst themselves. Sort of a rite of passage for the blob bobs. They would thread this dangerous path and lure the gigantic monster down this narrow path until they fell into their demise. I awake though, once again determined to get back into the dream. about 15-20 min had passed from the previous scene. They were celebrating by the cliff and blob bob handed 'it' to me. A obsidian black rectangular cube. Size of a large thumb. It felt like the lead of a pencil. Blob bob looks at me and tells me that "it will make you omni." Didn't look like it would taste good. Tasted like charcoal, or like pencil lead I think. Dry kind of not food taste, very brittle. But it worked. I awake again. I focus on my hands and keep on walking. I am now in a large wooden hall. Second floor, there's some small lunch table around and people are dressed in old fashioned clothes. Maybe timeline is like 200 years back or something. I walk passed them and they all begin to look at me. Their eyes were asking me what I wanted, as if trying to fulfill my wishes. I thought about it... What did I want to do in this dream? I thought that ESP was cool so I just said "ESP." They opened way to the back of sparse masses. And an old man with cowboy hat and a very nice moustache and a younger man approached me. The cowboy told me to follow him, and the younger man trailed behind him. To the left was a somewhat non conspicuous door entrance. I enter inside it and there is a small bedroom, with a man lying on a bed. Like a hospital bed that Curves upward in the middle. It was an asian monk, he had hallow eyes with pitch black underneath his eyes. His stomach bloated while the rest of him being him. He was dying. He reached out with his right arm towards me and I grabbed his hand. I began to feel a slight tingle as if he was pushing some sort of energy inside me. It didn't feel very strong and as if sensing my thoughts, he began to surge much more energy inside me. Didn't feel painful, perhaps it should have, or would have for most people. It just felt more tingly and sort of numb from all the energy rushing in. His death was neigh and was transferring all his powers to me. Wake up. Maybe this monk is the little monk in the little monk dreams. I am inside a different bedroom. Still lucid and notice there are mountains of legos, dark blue legos piled up in heaps. They weren't really joined together, just pushed together in piles. I walked to the right and there were alot of fans there. It was nice as I felt the freeze from the fan cooling me, because I felt sort of hot. A window behind those fans. What do you call those, shutter doors? A window door leading outside. I went outside and climbed up the stone stairs that were worn and black from corrosion and use. Kept my hands in front of my view as I walked to maintain my consciousness. I am inside a school, being directed to a class for special or gifted kids or something. I had some candy and gave to other little kids and the teacher there. There was a puzzle on each candy piece and we played with that. FA into a DJ, trying to DJ but I didn't like my writing so crossed the words. The ink smeared the pages behind it. Realized that I wasn't awake. I was once again heading outside. I saw the life of a blonde lady who was babysitting some kids. She talked about gender inequality about how men can't be babysitters. She commented about my DJ. Lost lucidity towards the end. May have regained it slightly when she mentioned DJ.

#534 - DEILD - 12:22AM I dream I am in bed but there is some light on coming from where the bathroom should be. When I look, I see a back yard with a chain-link fence. I wonder why there is no wall. A security light has come on. I can’t seem to move very well. I try to tell my wife but she’s not very responsive. I look toward the window and see a light coming from there too. I wake looking at the curtains. I am hallucinating that the curtains don’t look like curtains but a deep dark void into another realm. My eyes focus and I see just curtains. I feel very dreamy still so I naturally and instinctively go into DIELD mode. I really just do it without much thought. I let my body relax as I focus on the spot in my head that seems to allow me to renter the dream world. Almost instantly I get vibration and feel myself detach from my physical body. I become very excited and have to focus on slowing down my breathing and to relax more deeply. After a moment I let my dream body get out of bed. Everything is very dark and unstable. I try to ground myself with sensation of touch in the dream. I touch everything in the room but it doesn’t help enough. I wake slightly but and focused and determined. I DEILD again. I go back and forth several time between waking and trying to get the dream going. My wife’s lightly snoring is interrupting me and my physical body jerks a few times. Also once, I reach for the door knob but my physical hand moves waking me. I finally let the noise of her snoring go. I accept it and chose to ignore it like I do with the sound of the fan in the room. It’s just a noise that I can tune out. I exit again and this time it try to phase through the wall instead of using the door. This causes a sort of hiccup in the dream that sends me vibrating in and out of the wall until I finally force my way through. I see the living room but I am sent back to waking. Finally for the last time I exit. It’s still a bit unstable but I slap the walls really hard and I move to the bathroom. This seems to help. The sound is so loud I wonder if there is something hitting the house but I dismiss that thought. I enter the bathroom and everything is bright and clear. I am relieved. I look into the mirror like I always do and notice how distorted and odd my face looks. I feel hyper and extremely happy like I usually do in a lucid dream. I move and dance around and watch my reflection struggle to keep up. I see various bottles and cans of beauty products that my wife uses in waking life. I pick a small unusual looking bottle with blue liquid up. I decide to taste it. I drink all of the contents. The taste is odd but not unpleasant with a bitter alcohol like aftertaste. I look back at my reflection and it’s not moving at all now. It doesn’t even have the bottle in its hand. Next I see a bottle of pink pills. I decide these are lucidity pills that will enhance the dream and make me super lucid. Now I know the title of this dream journal entry. I eat one. It’s mildly sweet. Then I eat a handful. It’s like cotton in my mouth and then it dissolves away. The dream fades away now and think this pill trick didn’t work very well but no sooner do I think that I find myself in a new location. I am still lucid and standing in a kitchen. I know that I need to keep active to keep the dream going so I start to interact with items. There’s a plastic grocery bag in the sink. I touch it for a second but notice there are dream characters with me. For some reason I decide that I am here to remodel. My wife is next to me and the guy from the pet store in waking life is there. He pulls out the entire kitchen sink and cabinets from the wall. We take a look together and the whole thing is built very oddly. Then I decide the back-splash needs an extra thing with a shelf on it. I think this is a really good idea and I want to remember it when I wake up so maybe I’ll do that in my actual house. Another dream character appears, a woman. I explain the whole thing in great detail and even draw her a little picture. I am still excited and hyper. I am joking around with her in silly ways like a child would. I start looking through the notebook that I drew the shelf on there are random drawing and writings that I can’t make out what it is. I’m still lucid but I think it has slipped at little. After a moment longer of this I wake up again and decide I better go ahead and write my dream down before I forget it.
Maybe for new years' resolution 2020 I get back into lucid dreaming... Dream 1 (Three Nights Ago) I am with my mother. We are checking out houses to live in. The location is near a body of water; a lake. There are lots of small islands with road bridges connecting them and a few houses per island, as well as lots of large trees that have lost their leaves. The grass is mostly brown and many of the houses look to be in a highly dilapidated state. At some point I become lucid and begin flying on jets of fire as I usually do. Dream 2 (Two Nights Ago) In the dream I am openly homosexual and traveling cross country on a road trip with an OTD boyfriend whom I am not familiar with. We get along well and seem to have a developing and intimate relationship. There is heavy time dilation as we travel across the country touring various parks, landmarks and attractions. At one point towards the end of our trip we are driving along a road, which runs alongside a forested mountain which runs along a fjord somewhere on the west coast of the united states. We are driving an old VW bus that is white, yellow and gold and now traveling in a convoy with other travelers in various vehicles. We stop because the road ends, and get out of the vehicle. It is midday and sunny with a handful of scattered clouds. I become Lucid and decide to fly. The flying sensation is pretty muted as the dream begins to destabilize around me. I fly out over the ocean and pretty quickly the land shrinks away into nothing despite my best efforts to redirect thrust and fly back. I then glance around and notice the tsunami dream occurring. The wave is absolutely massive, several miles tall, like a second vertical ocean forming a massive wall to one side of me. I think that I might be able to fly above it, outrun it, or shift the dream scene but the wave seemingly accelerates until its right on top of me. Then returns to more normal speed as the wave hits me. I'm underwater. I recognize this dream as having happened before. Numerous times. I simply allow myself to breathe rather than suffer through the suffocating drowning feeling. The dream scene shifts. I am seated on a concrete platform that is partially submerged in a deep ocean. The sky is gray and golden with rays of sunlight showing through and waves are battering me from all sides. I continue to breathe, recognizing that the dream around me couldn't impact my ability to breathe and cause me to drown. By concentrating on this fact I was able to stop the waves. The dream transitions to a tropical island scene. I lose the dream and wake up.
#533 I was in an airport trying to get some place in the building but everywhere I turn its just sliding glass doors leading outside. I hear someone say something about tickets to Japan. For some reason I become lucid. I turn around again and see that I am up on the second floor and the lower floor is open below. I just over the rails and allow myself to belly flop on the floor. I feel a numb sensation when I hit. I think I did this because I was thinking the other day about some superstition with falling in dreams. I get up and walk. For some reason I think I was lucid just before this dream but had lost it. I wake up.
