    1. An old town

      I do a reality check and i look around.I'm one step in my fathers car,which is parked in a parking lot .I see a town in a distance and my dream starts to fade out , but i start spinning around and i'm back again.This time the town is not too far away, so i start walking towards it.I start jumping high and there is a tree, which has red berries on it.I run , jump and run my hand through thick layer of small branches , they had spikes on them..It actually hurt.I want to run faster and in a second i'm near the town.I stand by a church and want to try to fly, i just jump and stay in the air , i have little control of it.I want to find a celebrity in this town , first one that comes in my mind is Emma Watson lol , i know i need to imagine her standing somewhere or something , i see a little girl coming and telling me something and i ignore her.I go inside big , but old house , something like an old post office.I go into a hall and my dream ends.

      I've had 8 LDs and my dream always ends by the door of any house i wake up in and i just couldn't go outside

      I wake up in my bed and my grandmother comes into my room with a tuxedo and a plate which has food on it , she starts telling me something about the food , she picks a piece of the plate , it looks like a wrapped pasta with sauce(?).I suddenly think "My grandmother in a tuxedo, what the hell?" that tells me to do a reality check.
      I look around the room and see sun shining outside the window .I won't do the same mistake again , so i open the window.I touch the window glass ,its cold , really realistic.i jump out and start walking towards the exit to the street, it's quite chilly outside.I wake up

      [COLOR="silver"]On this Wake Back to bed I were only up to go to the bathroom and I did put on socks to keep my feet warm, then I fell asleep with the timer on. A great tip that helped me fall asleep, focus on your breathing, if you are really good at meditation you might keep awake, but if your not you will black out.
      I counted up to 5 alarms before I started to have a dream[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="blue"]I were on a school and was going to park my bike, but I just couldn't lock it. So I stood there for a long time and raged over my bike.[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="silver"]Then the sixth alarm woke me up, and I blacked out again.[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="blue"]I was watching Tom and Jerry, but not from a TV perspective I was there and I was transformed into a cartoon bear. Some of my friends thought it was a game and I chased them. Then I couldn't find them anyway, so I looked out through the window and saw that they were out on the garden. I climbed out to the high roof[/COLOR] [COLOR="red"]and the phantom beep from the alarm made me aware I guess, because it came from nowhere. I looked down on my worried friends and I thought that I really should try to fly down from here. But how? If I don't believe it I will fall straight down. I thought "I will do it I am AWESOME!" So I took a leap of faith, but it was a bumpy fly attempt, because I didn't really had control over it. And because of that I lost my lucidity immediately...[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="blue"]The dream continued and I crash landed on a hill and started to roll down in pain. Then my friends just stopped playing and looked at me with sad faces. I asked what's going on? And then I saw a newpaper with a picture of my mom and the headline said (I don't remember) but for some reason I realised that she was dead. So I started crying, but then the dream morhped into a tv-serie I can't even explain it because nothing maked sense. It was wierd.[/COLOR]

      [COLOR="silver"]I then woke up in my bed.. When I wrote this DJ entry I knew what alarm I were on, but while I was doing this I had no idea, so when I woke up I thought I had missed the 20 minute intervalls, so I tried to go back to sleep, but I just couldn't. And I gave up and looked at the timer and saw that I had slept through all the alarms, and the reason to that I became lucid was the phantom beep.
      But in the future I have to be more aware of what alarm I am on, and every time I get lucid I have to remember to stabilize.[/COLOR]

      Im in a giant tank of water but im not scared. it was quiet and lifeless. then I saw a light gleaming off of a beautiful girls body. After seeing her something in me just clicked. I was captivated and felt a very lucid surge of emotion and purpose(to swim to her). the closer I get the brighter everything gets. I wake up when I get close to her.

    5. Lengthy Lucid: A Freeing Flight

      I was sitting in a room on a couch. It slightly resembled the living room in my parents' new house in Oregon. I was messing with my phone, which I was having trouble getting to work; I couldn't get my screen to come on properly. I remembered it was because I dropped it beside some train tracks at the airport (that really did happen yesterday in waking life). I then thought it was weird that I had my phone at all, since the airport hasn't sent it back to me yet.

      Finally, I got the phone to work. The battery was almost dead. I looked through my texts, and saw some messages from my friend Tori. The text said something about a moth. Hmm...weird again. I looked away from the phone and looked back, and Tori's picture had changed. I then decided to jump into the air and see if I flew. I jumped, and floated. I'm dreaming!

      The next thing I knew I was in the driveway of my house in my hometown. I saw my old cat, Ziggy, next to me. I wanted him to fly with me, so I told him to come along. I jumped into the air to fly, and was having some trouble staying in the air. I landed in the back yard in the grass. I examined my hands, and only counted 5 fingers on each. I tried a couple more times, but with the same outcome: 5 fingers. Oh well, I still knew I was dreaming. I can't fly in waking life, unfortunately.

      The wind then started to pick up. I knew it was my chance to fly. I jumped into the wind, and sure enough, I was in the air, soaring up, up, and up. I was riding the wind, and it was the most amazing feeling ever. I could feel it blowing around me as I flew over my neighbor's house. It was so amazing!


      Then, I remember being back in the living room. I lost my lucidity for a bit. I was walking, and there was some older lady behind me kissing up my neck. No thanks. I got away from her, and talked to someone on my phone. Other things happened, but I can't recall exactly what.

      Something then triggered my lucidity again. As soon as I realized I was dreaming, I did another hand examination/finger count. Still 5 fingers on each hand. I kept examining my hands so I could stabalize the dream.

      I decided to try to draw and use a portal, since it had been so long since I've done that. I tried to think of someone to try to visit, and I decided to try to see Hyu. I walked up to a wooden wall in the living room and drew a huge circle. It appeared as it usually does. I then wrote 'Hyu' in the middle of the portal, and started trying to shade the portal in with my hand. I then realized I had forgotten to voice my intent, so I did.
      "I want to see Hyu," I said.
      I noticed that the portal wasn't filling in as it usually does. It was smearing the name I had written in it. Hmm, odd. I decided to try to jump through it anyway. I headed through the portal.

      I was then taken back to the living room. The portal failed. Lame. I tried again, and drew a smaller one. I don't remember what happened after I jumped through that one, but I know it too failed.

      I then remember looking through what looked like the bonus room doors at my hometown house. They started to become transparent, and I phased through them.

      Then, I was outside in the driveway again. It was getting dark outside. I decided that more flying was in order. I did another hand examination, mainly to keep the dream this time, but I counted my fingers out of curiosity. Still 5 on each hand. I jumped into the air and flew. I looked up at the sky, and noticed it was very cloudy. I could see very few stars. I flew over the roof of my house, and tried to see how high I could fly. I kept going up, but knew that losing the visual I had of the ground below would make me lose my dream. I stopped going up and kept flying around quickly. It felt so freeing! I looked down at the roof of mine and my neighbor's house and the trees. The trees looked especially vivid. It was beautiful.

      I then started to go towards the holly bushes in our back yard. I wanted to try something else, since all I had been doing was flying, and racked my brain trying to think of something. I then felt everything dimming, and I felt anxious and tried to examine my hands. As I was flying over the holly bushes, I woke up.


      Yay for being lucid again, and not just for a few seconds!! I was so happy to finally have another lengthy lucid. Now, I've just gotta get my portals back up to par.

      1) High school. LUCID. Looking for crush to tell her how I feel. I finally find her off behind the cafeteria in what seems to be a robotics lab. She's at a table with others working on circuitry. I don't want to interrupt.

    7. Battle of Brute Strength vs. Skill

      I'm walking down the hallway of my old dorm towards my room after doing laundry or something. I round the corner and at the end of the other hall I see a HUGE dude. Like one of the guys you see in the muscle building competitions that don't really look human anymore. Just standing there he blocked the entire hallway.

      Except he was actually wearing clothes unlike this guy...
      I become lucid and I can feel the sheer strength of the colossal brute standing at the end of the hallway. In a fraction of a second I gather energy from around me and can feel the power surge forth. I feel light and as the swell of energy comes to it's peak I burst forward, flickering down the hallway at a tremendous speed. The brute barely has time to see me coming and he begins to step forward and throws a hard punch with his right fist. A few meters before I reach him I plant my right foot and kick off the ground. In slow motion I see me rise and grab his fist, I begin to twist my body in the air. I tilt sideways and as I spin I bring my legs in, turning my forward momentum into spin. I soar over his head spinning in a barrel roll. In the burst of torque generated from my spin I twist his arm completely two or three times. I land behind him and rip his arm upwards, in agony he goes down on one knee and without giving him time to react I kick down on his knee from the side. I hear a cracking sound as his leg snaps sideways and he begins to crumple. In a cold rage I feel my killing intent towards him. I put all my strength into a sweeping kick to his head. The force knocks his head into the brick wall and I see blood pour from his head as his body slumps to the floor. This all happened in the span of a few seconds. As a note I'd like to mention that it is uncharacteristic of me to be so violent, in reality I would generally never wish anyone harm. But for some reason in certain circumstances a very sinister side of me shows itself in my dreams and I do things I wouldn't normally do.

    9. You're Not Leaving!

      This dream started in my house. I was in the hallway of the second floor, but one side of this hallway wasn't walled-off, and instead it had a half-wall that overlooked the first floor, which went out from underneath it for another ten feet or so. The walls were beige and the half-wall was topped off with a smooth, rounded section of dark wood. The floors, as they've always been, were hardwood. The first floor must have been twenty feet tall, judging from how high up the second one was.

      I was standing up against the half-wall, with my elbows resting on with wood on top. I wanted to leave the house but I knew my dad wouldn't let me; he was in an irritable mood. The tall wall I was facing had a large, vertical rectangular window made of one solid pane of glass. If you were to look below the window, you'd see the front door of the house. It was a set of white double doors with brass doorknobs. I peered over the wall to look down at them; it was fairly dark in the house though, because the lighting was dimmed. Light was coming from a room to the right on the first floor, on the wall adjacent to the one with the door, though. My dad was in that room.

      I looked out through the big window and it was clearly nighttime; the sky was pitch-black. The only thing I could see were distant street lights. I did see a two-lane road right in front of my house going perpendicular to it, but that's because it was right near the house.

      The dream skipped and I was now downstairs, right in front of the door. Right there, I became lucid. Wanting to avoid a possible scrap with my dad (because the dream had a slightly dark air to it), I called out to him; I sort of knew he was still in the room to the right. The light was still on, too, letting a flood of yellow into the main room, the one I was in.

      "Dad," I said, "I'm leaving now! I'll be back in a bit."

      I expected him to oblige and simply say 'alright', but that didn't happen. Moments later, I prepared to open the door and summon the indoor "arrivals" terminal of an airport, and that was when I felt an invisible hand on my shoulder. I didn't summon this hand; I'd simply forgotten all about my dad, but the dream obviously had other ideas. The hand freaked me out slightly but I shoved it off, saying, "dad, this is a dream and you have no business doing that. Get lost." I kept my cool because I was aware enough that I was dreaming, and that nothing could hurt me.

      "You're not leaving!" I heard him shout from the other room; his voice sounded hollow but not echoey at all. I gathered up my visualizations again and was about to open the door, when the floor gave way. It split in two, and I could hear the hardwood snap as I plunged right-side up into blackness.

      Okay, so I was pretty much totally unnerved now, but I still managed to keep my charade going. "What did I say?" I exclaimed, rolling my eyes as I fell down through the blackness. I crossed my arms. "Put me back, NOW!"


      The lack of visual input must have been what caused the dream to end.

    11. Stabilization Fail

      It was daytime; the sky was a light eggshell blue color. I was in a city square, which was basically an open area surrounded by buildings; the ground consisted of flat, irregularly-shaped light grey stones, almost like a big mosaic. The stones fanned out from the center of the clearing to the outsides of it in a radial pattern. And where the stones all met in the middle of the clearing was a stone fountain with a radius of around fifteen feet; in the middle, water was coming out, up into the sky then falling down in a skinny mushroom cap-shaped curtain. It was sparkly water and gave off a slightly rainbow color in the middle region. Although the water was bluish in color, the whole area had a greyish, paler tone to it. It reminded me of somewhere in Rome.

      After a few moments of being in the dream, I became semi-lucid and immediately started rubbing my hands together. I was a bit excited but my energy overall was pretty lethargic. Had I been more aware, I'd definitely have been more eager and excited, and thought of teleporting to an airport sometime. But I wasn't. I rubbed my hands and looked past the fountain at a few French-style buildings; as I did this, I saw one of the Dreamviews member nina's previous avatars, one with a running white dog. It was a perfectly flat, square image that just floated there for a few moments; it was probably a foot by a foot wide. I ultimately ignored it and proceeded to do more stabilization practices, including rubbing my hands along the ground.

      I did this for a minute, then remembered to try taking my clothes off as a possible stabilization method! I started to take off my shirt without caring if anyone saw me, since it was just a dream. I was thinking, 'this will definitely prolong the dream!' I didn't imagine the feeling of the fabric or anything, which was what I should've done, so it probably wasn't as effective as it could have been.


      Well, the dream ended as soon as my shirt came off.

    12. My first lucid dream. #1

      I have multiple entries to post, because I'll be posting entries from my dream journal IRL.
      This is the only lucid dream I have had to date, and this was the first entry in my IRL dream journal.
      I made this entry when I was about 9, and I had to rewrite parts I couldn't read.

      It first started off with me being chased by the grim reaper. I fell into a dark room, and that was when I realized I was asleep.

      The grim reaper entered the dark room.

      All I remember saying is "I will not die." and eventually defeated the grim reaper with a sword I made.

      He dropped a magical potion labeled "flying potion" before he died, much like in video games where after you defeat the boss, they drop things.

      I took the flying potion and appeared in my kitchen and drank it down quickly.

      I went to my backyard and decided to test out the flying potion, and made a monster truck ramp appear. The ramp was much larger then me, and I had to run up the ramp.

      As I ran up the ramp, I realized I was going to fall off. I panicked, but that was when I realized I was in the air.

      It was an exhilarating feeling, I flew for a couple of minutes. I felt like a bird up there, flying next to the Space Needle, Eiffel Tower, and the Empire State Building, which were in the same city for some reason.
      I woke up a few minutes later, and I can't remember the end of the dream. I never hit the ground in my dream, though.

    13. A quest of sorts / All dreamers can fly

      My recall for this night is rather fragmented.


      I am in Italy on vacation. For some reason I am trying to rent some kind of special room to hold a big dinner and invite a lot of friends.
      Then I remember that I'm on vacation, so my friends are actually far away, but somehow I don't consider this an issue...

      ... I'm having said dinner, however I'm on some kind of cruise ship.
      After the dinner I'm walking through the corridors of the ship, trying to find my room.
      Somehow I don't know where my room is at all, but I seem to believe that I'll find it by just randomly walking around anyways...


      I wake up and attempt to WILD but I fall asleep too quickly.

      I am with other people in an unknown location. There is some sort of meeting.
      Why am I here again? It feels like I was drawn to this place by a higher force.
      I gradually become moderately lucid.

      The people I'm meeting with claim to be dreamers. I must have somehow stumbled into a shared dreaming experiment...

      ... Some of the people, including myself, have gone on some sort of quest.
      We're walking a path which supposedly leads towards our goal, though I have no idea what it is.

      There's a guy in armor leading the way.
      Then there's a girl who caught my attention because she's wearing a rather revealing outfit.
      Another guy is walking with us. He's very talkative and seems to be very interested in me.
      He keeps bugging me about Yuya, which I find sort of annoying.
      There's two more guys, but I can't remember anything about them.

      The girl is trying to show me how she can create ice crystals at will, but the annoying guy is heating up the spot where she tries to create ice crystals
      with fire magic every time she attempts to show me.
      I find this somewhat amusing.

      The guy in armor is acting quite weird.
      He has long black curly hair, and has a tendency to come very close to you when he's talking with you, opening his eyes widely.
      At one point I tell him:

      "You're weirding me the fuck out mate"

      He just laughs...

      ... We reach a tower on top of a cliff and climb all the way up.
      Apparently the goal was to come here, I don't really get why.
      Everyone but the guy in armor, the girl and me have disappeared by now.

      The guy in armor starts swinging his arms around wildly making magical noises and finally vanishes.

      "Right... now that was properly weird."
      "Yes..."

      I look at the landscape. It is very beautiful.

      "Hey. Wanna fly?"
      "Oh... no. I can't fly."
      "What? Bollocks, all dreamers can fly."
      "Well maybe, but I can't fly yet."
      "Sure you can, it's easy."
      "For you maybe..."
      "Well listen, with that attitude it's no wonder you have trouble flying."
      "..."
      "Come here, I'll show you."

      We approach the edge of the tower. It's a very long way down from here.

      "Now what... don't tell me you want me to jump!"
      "Free your mind."
      "What?"
      "Free your mind!"
      "Okay..."
      "It's safe... it's all safe"
      "Right."

      I gently push her off the edge and as she realizes she's going to fall she starts screaming.
      Somehow I find this funny. I know she isn't in any real danger.
      I jump after her and catch up.

      "You fucking asshole!"
      "Haha, calm down"
      "I HATE FALLING!"
      "Then fly?"
      "Fuck you!"
      "Aww come on. I'm not gonna let you fall all the way down."
      "Now what?"
      "Fly!"
      "HOW?"
      "What did I tell you?"
      "Free my mind..."

      The air surrounding her suddenly becomes turbulent and she starts slowing down.
      She's very occupied with slowing down, and we come to a full stop about a meter over a lake.

      "See, that wasn't so bad!"
      "You could have said something instead of pushing me..."
      "Maybe..."

      I drop down onto the lake and walk on the water.
      That clearly makes her curious and she stops flying assuming she'll be able to walk on the water as well.
      But she drops right into the lake, which I find quite funny.
      She flies back out and gives me a very accusing look.
      I say laughingly:

      "What? You asked me how to fly, now how to walk on water!"
    14. Lucid with Ichigo

      I have no idea why I had a dream involving Ichigo, I haven't watched Bleach in months. Oh well.

      I was just choosing a form for myself to take, whatever was most powerful that looked cool. I chose a form, then went into the room that Ichigo was in. He was very angry, and wanted to kill whatever is in there. I thought to myself, "He can't kill me, I'm dreaming. I'm like a god here. I'll befriend him." So, he tries to kill me, and I'm VERY agile. I can see a health bar, and I see I've lost some health. I regenerate my health, but he comes at me too fast. He's almost dead, so I just walk over, and sit down. He tries to kill me, but I grab his sword, and I just signal him to go away, I'm done fighting. He understands, but doesn't go away. He senses that I'm lucid, and he asks me if I want to fly. I respond by pulling a parachute and flying HIGH into the air. I see that he was in some sort of prison room, and that I just busted him out. No wonder he wanted to kill me, he thought I was his captor and executioner. Oh well, I'm flying over a colossal city, and I decide to land somewhere. At this point, I'm trying to fly without my parachute, and I'm not having much luck. I was semi-lucid at this point, and I tried a few different things. I tried jumping into water, but that didn't work. After a while, I just wandered around. This place seemed to be a lab of some sort. People were inventing things, and I took a look. Most of it was rather boring and insignificant, all except for the knife. I asked the guy who was working on it if he would let me test it, and I did. I cut a huge metal device in half. The man look amazed, and said that the project was a success. I went into his boss' hut and showed him the knife, he said that this was marvelous, and that he had to start mass-producing. I told him to look again, and the knife was all bent to hell. I could bend it in my hand, and the man looked disappointed. He had the same posture as the Resistance leader from my last dream, after he lied.

      After that, I had a hazy non-lucid that I don't feel like repeating.

    15. Winter hobo, good times in prison

      Going to come back later and fill this in.

      Dream 1: There was a hobo outside of our apartment and I thought I'd help him out. He ended up pulling out a knife and slowly advancing towards me, I knew that he wanted to kill me. I ran to the apartment and told Willy what happened. We sprung into action and acquired knives from the kitchen. I attacked the hobo and ended up cutting him to pieces, but when I first leaped towards him and made the first cut, I thought it would be an impossible task. My first slice only barely penetrated his thick skin. Maybe he was hardened from the winter cold.

      Dream 2: I remember going to jail with a good friend. We were political enemies and we were being locked up together. We were 'pre-reminiscing' about all the good times we were going to have in jail. It was some kind of fancy prison, and we were able to communicate with each other between our cells. I think we were scheduled to be there for thirty years, but that didn't bother us.

      Fragment: I was in a car, not mine, with some friends. I kept doing silly things like standing up in my seat and hanging onto the front of the car, through the non-existent front window. I eventually got pulled over by a cop, I think.

      I do remember at one point becoming LUCID for a few moments. I remember spinning to stabilize the dream. Nothing much here, but I'm happy to have went lucid
