    1. Supermarket

by , 07-25-2012 at 07:36 PM (The Wonderful Realm of Harvoification)
Not much of interest really. Just running through a supermarket that looks similar to the shop from Stephan King’s ‘The Mist’ with a burger in hand. Whilst the burger was in my hand the police chasing and shooting me could not harm me. I ran outside to find a large car park with a single car parked and a group of people around it. I ran up to it, and I think it was a few friends and family telling me this was all a prank. I can’t pick out individual faces except my father. Come to think of it, the car may have been a hot dog van, which would fit in with the whole fast food theme of the dream. It was reasonably vivid, but nothing special. I’ll try again tonight.

    2. -"Bedworms"-

by , 07-25-2012 at 07:08 PM (The Realm of the Child)
      -"Bedworms"-

I was in some sort of orphanage or foster home for some reason. There were various and strange creatures all around this home, varying from the strange to the perfectly sane, though they all had many different features to them. This one, a sort of red looking imp creature, was playing a game called "Bedworms", where when he'd wake you up, and if you were to move somewhat rapidly when you woke up, he'd then proceed to pull up your shirt if you had one on and spread peanut butter all over your belly. I for one, caught on to this little game and would only pretend to sleep when told to. When I was awoken, being in the same room as my brother, I didn't make a single move, and the imp said "Nice job. Here's your reward." and gave me a phone with a hot babe in a bikini on it, though she would suddenly appear in the same bed as me and would say in a quite seductive tone "Don't mind me if I just sleep over here, 'kay~?" and I nodded and gave a small chuckle in return, being as suave as I was. My brother on the other hand got the peanut butter, but went back to bed with it, but he also had an addiction to aspirin. I pretended to go back to sleep, the girl's feet rubbing against mine. I picked up the phone, she had texted me asking to "See a picture of my ass". I turned off the phone, she started crying and she was gone. I proceeded to pretend to sleep. My brother woke up fine this time, and so did I. So, the imp came over to me and hopped onto my bed, saying "Well, you're doing pretty good. Grandma's bed is bad to sleep on." I didn't know who grandma was, nor did I care to know, but he then resumed "Wanna sleep on grandma's bed?" I shook my head and chuckled. That was the end.

    3. Legend of Zelda to Driving through our Village; Forts and Video Games; Collecting Drumsticks

by , 07-25-2012 at 05:03 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
In my first dream last night, I was playing a Zelda game on the Wii. I don't know what game it was; it wasn't one that actually exists. When I say "playing", I mean I was watching the game from a third-person point of view (so my entire field of vision was what was displayed on the screen), but I was still aware that I was using a Wii remote (this is similar to how I usually play video games in dreams, except I'm not usually aware of the controller).

Anyway, I remember Link being able to shrink down (and return to normal size) at will, like in Minish Cap, except he could do it anywhere. I (remember, I'm playing the game and, therefore, controlling Link) used that to get into this building where I was in this room full of people.

Suddenly, I was actually in the game myself! And, no, I wasn't Link (I have no idea what happened to him); I was myself. I had to play Epona's Song on the ocarina for some reason. Strangely, though this seemed normal at the time, instead of covering the holes and blowing into the ocarina, I had to press buttons to play the notes. For some reason, I kept trying to play the notes for Saria's Song (though I thought I was trying to play Epona's Song), but I kept messing up.

This man approached me and I told him that I couldn't seem to get the notes right. We ended up talking about Legend of Zelda for a little while (he was a Zelda fan, too), and I forgot about the ocarina entirely. Soon, I saw my parents arrive, so I said goodbye and told him I enjoyed talking with him, then I left with my parents.

Next thing I knew, we were driving through the village where I live (well, I actually live in a town just outside of the village itself, but I used to live in the village). The man was in the car with us, which was unexpected, since I'd said goodbye to him and left. Anyway, we were driving along South Main Street, going past the power substation, with the bridge just up ahead. It didn't occur to me in the dream, but my mom may have been driving us to our old house (where I lived until I was seven), as that was literally just a few houses away. The dream ended before we got close enough to see our house, though.

(Note: I'm sure that bridge will forever remain in my memory, along with the "beep beep" of reversing trailer trucks. You see, the bridge could be seen from my old house. Even though there was a warning sign stating the height limit, many truck drivers would ignore the sign and try to drive under the bridge anyway... which usually resulted in them subsequently getting stuck under it. This, of course, was followed by the high-pitched beeping as they reversed out to take a detour. I lived in that house until I was seven (or eight, maybe; I can't remember exactly), and I have seen many trucks get stuck under that bridge.)

I woke up after that and decided to try DEILD. I quickly felt myself being pulled into another dream. Unfortunately, even though I know I'm not supposed to move during DEILD, my half-asleep brain decided it would be perfectly okay to roll over as long as I didn't get up. That completely ruined my DEILD attempt.

I quickly went back to sleep anyway and had another non-lucid dream. In this dream, I was with my friend Lizz. We were in her backyard, but it didn't look like her backyard - or anywhere I'd recognize, for that matter - in real life. So there we were, as well as three little girls, around seven or eight years old. I can't remember who the girls were, but I have a feeling the group may have included her little sister and/or some of the girls around that age at my church.

Anyway, we were in "teams" (i.e., Lizz and I vs. the other girls), and each time had a "fort". Our fort was "defensive", as it was a shed with a wire fence around it. The girls' fort was "fun", as it was a colourful playground set with a treehouse (i.e., a swingset and slide with an attached treehouse). I'm guessing the "forts" were for some kind of game, though the dream skipped ahead to the next morning before anything much really happened.

I'd apparently spent the night at her house, since I was still there the next morning. We went to the dining room (again, it looked different than it does IRL) for breakfast. She started asking me what I thought about some video game that she'd assumed I'd played (I forgot the name of it, though). When I told her I hadn't played it, she decided to show it to me.

I guess the dream ended before she had a chance to show me, since the next thing I remember is from the next dream. I was playing the "drums", though it actually looked like a keyboard (a piano keyboard, not a computer keyboard), not a drum kit. For some reason, the drumsticks I was using were short and made of black plastic. I think the "drums" may have actually been a keyboard, as I had to set it to 101 (first percussion setting on a MIDI keyboard) to get the right sounds.

The next thing I knew, I was at home, and my parents were there. I put the drumsticks down on the table. It turned out I was supposed to have three more (I only had two), so I had to go outside to find the rest. Instead of just three, I ended up finding a lot more and setting them all down on the table.

    5. 24.07.2012 - Weird night - STRANGE recall & normal dreams

      by , 07-25-2012 at 01:34 PM
      Date: 24/07/2012
      Place: My bed
Time of getting into bed: 11.00pm
Nothing before bed - Ginseng & Ginkgo the morning before

      Waking thoughts in black
      Non lucid dreams in blue
      Lucid dreams in red

      Dream 1 - non lucid (12.55am)

So, I was all intent on taking my Lucid Dreaming pill on a WBTB last night, for the first time. I went to bed early, and fell asleep normally. I must stress I DIDNT TAKE ANYTHING, not even the usual B6 as I wanted to see the effects of the G&C without any interactions. I took Ginseng & Ginkgo the morning before, which I have been doing for about a week now. The night was particularly hot (we're having a heat wave, woohoo!) and I slept semi-naked, and out of the quilt. This always gave me nightmares as a child.

Dream fragments -talking on DV about WILDing and lucid dreaming. I wrote this in my DJ, I was sweating and really tired (hence just a short sentence / fragment) but I was feeling weird. I was slipping in and out of consciousness and as I was I was unintentionally WILDing! It came on so fast, I would lie down to sleep, and felt my body go numb, then a floating sensation, all in a matter of minutes. I didn't fight it, but I mostly 'popped' in and out of it, very unusual sensation. This happened all night, at one point I checked the G&C pill on my bedside table to make sure I hadn't taken it in my sleep, because the feeling was so intense. I hadn't. I decided not to take it, as it was too early. (even though I was dreaming?) I slept, and then woke up to a loud noise a little later. I woke up (or did I? FA?) because there was a loud noise outside, at first I thought it was a helicopter flying by )it happens) but it got louder and louder, I realised I was awake... (I think... I didn't RC) but I was in SP - the noise got loud and turned into screeching, just like HH that people describe, but I've never had it. After the noise, I felt tingling all over my body, and fell asleep. Thinking about it now, was this a dream about WILDing? Or did I wake up in SP briefly? I have no idea.

      Dream 2 - non lucid
Two guys are performing oral sex on me, the dream gets really weird, with medieval torture devices being used, I'll skip the details, but it was weird and erotic. This was one messed up sex dream.

      Dream 3 - non lucid / slight lucidity at end - 3.00am
My mum is coming to pick me up from somewhere because I have been drinking. When she gets there she has some pizzas ready for me to eat, which I'm thankful for because I'm starving. My mum disappears, and I begin to panic. I ring her phone but she isn't answering, I worry she's been in an accident. However she then pulls in the drive with her car. The car is a big silver estate, and puffing out clouds of black smoke. I initially think she's had car trouble, but she gets out with my younger sister and says she's been in hospital. My younger sister is in tears - I ask her what's wrong? She says her favourite singer Adele, is in hospital. I laugh, and say 'I know she is, she's been in there for ages, call yourself a fan?' but she get's even more upset and says its an operation on her throat. I make a mental note to check weather Adele really has had an operation when I wake up, or weather my dream is making it up, as I can't remember right now.

I woke up, with a music in my head from my childhood, that I had COMPLETELY forgotten. It was eerie and freaked me out, as I tried to get back to sleep, I kept remembering dreams from YEARS AGO. I shit you not. I thought about getting up (this was about 3.30am now) and watching some TV because I was so freaked out I daren't sleep. However I forced myself to sleep, but I woke up again and again, each time remembering dreams from about 5 or 6 years ago, with amazing detail. I thought I'd completely forgotten these dreams. What the hell was going on? I finally fell to sleep properly again.

      Dream 4 - non lucid - 5.15am
My family owns a food shop, I go in search of starting my own food shop. I have a clothes shop, but this gets shut down. A pink tie is left hanging from one of the windows, and I take it as a souvenir. I open a shop selling action figures, and I make shoes themed with cartoon characters and comic characters.

      Dream 5 - non lucid
I am chilling with friends when someone asks me if I want to take part in a fun, free experiment. I agree. I have to hold these 2 black bars, it's a new kind of virtual game where you play an incredibly life-like character, that moves just by sensing through the bars in your hands. When I grab the bars, they hurt me at first, but I get used to it. I am a young soldier, in the war, I follow his life as he struggles to survive and still look after his wife and young child at home. I get really involved in this soldiers life, eventually feeling like I am him. I wake up in the dream, and the soldier is now a real man, stood over my bed. He tells me he is real, and wants me to follow him, I'm shocked, but not scared. I go and meet his wife and daughter, it is an emotional reunion for them, I watch quietly. Again, I wake up and feel like I'm WILDing, entering SP without trying. My body is tingling and numb at the same time, I feel like I'm floating over my bed. I remember more dreams from my long forgotten past, but this time I try to remember more and I'm shocked when I can. I quite like it. I fall asleep.

      Dream 6 - non lucid
I'm watching a TV show about young fathers meeting their in laws to be. One guy is wearing nothing but a purple robe, he has a scruffy beard, and lots of body hair. He poses and messes around and his naked body is clear to see.

      Dream 7 - non lucid - 9.03am
I'm at a dinner table in a restaurant, wearing fancy dress. I am wearing a santa costume, but it isn't totally correct. Someone nearby is a policeman. We add up 'fancy dress points' that we get for our outfits, so that we can have enough points to leave the restaurant. There was more to this dream, plus a whole other dream after this one, but I didn't write them down.

Overall, what a weird night. I feel refreshed this morning, but still in awe of the crazy night I had and I can still remember those dreams from years ago!
    6. First Lucid (maybe Semi-Lucid) Dream! :D

      by , 07-25-2012 at 01:26 PM
I had my first normal-lenght Lucid Dream a few days ago!! I just didn't have time to write it down here.

      Main techniques used: MILD+WBTB

      Black=Notes
      Red=Non-lucid
      Blue=Lucid

      Here it is:

I'm in my bed at night, MILDing, repeating my mantra. I'm a little thirsty so I get up and go to the tap in the end of my room to get a glass of water. [Interesting because I don't have a tap in my room plus I wasn't sleeping at home. ] It is already open. I pour water into my glass and I want to close it. Interestingly the water keeps rushing out of it. I remember that in dreams lights and machinery sometimes doesn't act the normal way. This idea disturbed me as I'm going back to bed. I go to the tap once again and still can't stop it. I lay back onto my bed thinking "This has never happened...". I try to breathe through my plugged nose, and... I can breathe!! "I'm dreaming!! Coooool!" I get excited but not very much. The dream doesn't become Full HD but I still find it VERY REALISTIC. I want to get out of my room but I don't want to wake up my parents so I climb out on the window. [This is an example why I think this may not have been a fully lucid dream. I made a lot of illogical decisions. But I was TOTALLY aware that I am dreaming. Let's just mark this as a semi-lucid lucid ] Then I climb down the roof into the garden. It is very dark. I don't know why but I really want to go to my friend's house. Suddenly, I am there. It absolutely doesn't look like his house in real life. His room is MY childhood room... But I don't notice it. He is inside with some of my other friends. I think they are watching a movie. I say to one of my friends: "Do you know that I am now sleeping/dreaming?" He stares at me with widely open eyes saying "You are?". I reply by saying "Of course I am!" I don't want to make them sad by telling them that they are only part of my imagination... I examine one of my friends' skin. I knew LD can be very realistic but to THIS EXTENT? [And this dream wasn't even one of the most realistic ones...]I go outside a little shocked and I want to try what flying is like. I find it very hard to float into the air. [Maybe because I wasn't FULLY lucid? ] So I just try to fly straightly upwards. I can go up about 6 meters by squeezing my butt... (?) lol. Then I fall back to the ground. The concrete breaks under my feet, it's cool... Then I try dream spinning. I suddenly teleport to my garden, not sure if this is the effect of the spinning or only a dream skip. Then I try spinning once again and interestingly I feel the sensation of the spinning motion but the picture doesn't change.
Some seconds after that I wake up. I think "OHMYGAWHDNESS I JUST HAD A LUCID DREAM!". But shortly after that I conclude it wasn't a FULLY LUCID experience...

It was still great fun, though.
    7. Epic Airboat Run

by , 07-25-2012 at 05:32 AM (Epic Dreamscape)
~This is what happened after a transition from the scene in my last post. (where it gets fun ^.^)

Consciousness of the scene slowly faded in to me, and I saw that I was at a pool party with several of my friends. I went to get one of my buddies to swim with me, but he walked up to me before I even started to search, so we dove in. Once we were under the surface, the scene shifted again (but not much) to show that I was now underwater in the ocean, among many small fish in the murky water. I swam around with super speed for awhile, chasing fish and enjoying being able to breathe freely underwater, but eventually I decided to go back to the surface. The closer I got to the surface of the water, the clearer the water became, until it was simply shimmering air to my eyes. I broke out of the water, and I saw that I was now at the beach with the same person I had chosen to go swimming with, and two other guys that seemed familiar. There was also a crowd of people standing a few feet away from us, looking on as if they expected something to happen soon. It was then that a rather large airboat with only four seats drove itself up beside us, and the two guys jumped in the front seat and the passenger seat before speeding away, nearly knocking me down with the power of the airboat fan. As they sped away, a RC car controller flew out of the backseat and landed at my feet. I picked up the controller to see what it controlled, and as I turned the wheel and squeezed the throttle, I discovered that it controlled the airboat. I played with the two guys on the airboat for a few minutes, terrorizing them with high speeds and sharp turns, but eventually I brought the boat back so that I could get in too. Once in the boat, I drove off at a slow speed in the direction of the open ocean, increasing my speed as I went until I was going so fast that the boat would have flown if I hadn't kept it down. (This is where my control starts to catch up with me.) I continued to speed along until I decided that I wanted something extreme, so I simply pictured a giant tidal wave appearing, and a massive wave rose out of the ocean. It could have easily drowned a couple Sears towers. The airboat shot up the tidal wave, and when it reached the summit, it continued on, flying into the air, up, up, until gravity caught up with us and took us on the adrenaline-pumped descent.

And that was basically the end to that dream. I drove around on the airboat for a few more minutes, but I woke up after that. By far the coolest thing about this dream was the free-fall that I went through on the way up and down on the airboat--it was like one of those rides at an amusement park that takes you up and then drops you back down, except faster, and I wasn't buckled in xD BEST FALL EVER!!

Last thing! This dream was also really exciting for me because it's showing the increased amount of control that I'm having in Lucid dreams since learning these techniques and being on this site. I wasn't expecting much improvement in control this soon after being on this site and learning these techniques, but they've clearly already made some progress, so I'm happy ^_^
    8. The lucid of achievement

      by , 07-24-2012 at 06:37 PM
(I do not recall doing a RC, in this dream I was simply lucid) the dream begins and I already find myself trying to fly. I close my eyes and begin slowly floating into the air, as I open them I am extremely excited (flight has been a long working goal for me) I turn and float through the air head first. I can feel the cool wind on my face, and the smooth sensation that comes with this mode of flight. I come back to the ground and gracefully land, I am in what appears to be an abandoned carnival, but I do not mind by surroundings, there is Optimus prime and star scream from the movie transformers here, however only about half their suposed size. I try to take off in flight again, this time by forming metal around myself, however it fails and I end up simply jumping. So I try the first way and I succeed, I take off into the air for the second time. I cut swiftly though the air and then I reach a wooden platform suspended in the air high above the ground. Written all over it is wretten "Top Secret, you can not see" ignoring this I just phase through it and teleport to ground, I nope stand nexto a large body of water with a group of people in tubes near me. I leap tward the water and land in a tube. The water is dark in color and the sun will be setting soon. I then see the two transformers from earlier and one says "we are re entering the dream" as a yellow car drives into the water and floats, I hear it speak again "the wheels are indestructible" I look away and back, all of this has vanished. I begin paddling (as the dream fades out I say) "who wants to race me" to the other tubers. Before I try to stabilize be rubbing my hands together. ( the dream ends anyway)
    9. my future and anime?

by , 07-24-2012 at 04:46 PM (The Dreamer)
i walked into a room with floating dimonds i steped on each one and walked to the center then it was like a boss fighttwo huge eyes appeard and my sword from my room in waking life appeared in my hand and i knew i was dreaming but the only thing i could control was my voice so i beat the boss by stabbing its eyes and then he turned into a man with a black coat and gave me a black cb pokemon game i threw it back and he said wheres the (i think it was AS or AG) on your tonge i said what then he tried to cut my hand but i wouldnt bleed he said your the dreamer the one who comes every night you are the hero of this world then the scene changed and two anime girls where fighting on the air in a city but the one girl won then another sene change happen and another anime girl was fighting the one that won and she beat her to and she bursted in the room and said wheres quinton then i woke up shocked at how the dream characters where acting.

    10. Day 1: Hyperdimensional Tentacled Alien Reality Factory, New Phantasy Star Dungeons, Karaoke Game

      by , 07-24-2012 at 03:40 PM
Supplement Dose: 10 mg Melatonin, 50 mg Zinc, 250 mg Choline, 100 mg Vitamin B6

#1 - Hyperdimensional Tentacled Alien Reality Factory [Non-Lucid]

This dream was fairly long if I remember correctly, but as it was early in the night and has a significant ending I've forgotten much of the beginning. My old friend D and I were back at our middle school, though we were still our same ages as now and didn't seem to think much of it. We got in my car, which was parked right in front of the school (in the parking lot), and we drove probably less than 100 feet, parked in a different spot, and got out and started walking back to my house instead. The park in between the school and my house seemed odd; the layouts of everything were arranged incorrectly and there was a ridiculous amount of very confusing construction going on. It seemed that in every direction there were lines of constantly moving shapes and out-of-place colors and textures (which is kind of hard to describe). The trees in the forest also took a very different path than they actually do. Of course none of this tipped me off to anything, I just turned to D and said something along the lines of "Wait, why are we walking? We could just go back to the car and drive there." We went back and got in and slowly got on the road in line with the other constantly-moving vehicles, though we had to drive on the sidewalk over lots of construction to do it, and we became part of the Escheresque conveyer belt just like everything else. As we approached the area where there was normally a bridge that crosses through the foresty part of the park, instead we were carried (because the road dropped, so we were more like floating now but it was more of a telekinetic pulling sensation) through what I can really only describe as some kind of yellowish-beige hyperdimensional caverns that also appeared to be some sort of fantasy town filled with enormous (like, their heads were bigger than my car) tentacled but vaguely humanoid alien monsters that emitted an aura of being some kind of hyperspatial entities with various astral powers. As we were pulled further into this it became clear that all of this was actually just part of a gigantic plane of perception that existed as a singular object which was simply modifying its own structure but was still just one thing.... And then my recall fades out and soon I woke up. X)

      #2 - New Phantasy Star Dungeons [Non-Lucid]

I was hanging out with N, R, and J, and R and J had been playing Phantasy Star Universe apparently and N was showing me how we could use our PSPs to connect our Phantasy Star Online (which is not even a PSP game) files to their Universe files and together we could all play on brand new maps, including an insanely detailed forest where we fought a boss that I can't remember now, and sort of a Star Ocean-like medieval town that was in a circular shape and caved in to a sewage drain in the middle where we battled some kind huge red robot monster that was designed to have these really curvy claws and body structures.... Also hard to describe, but I thought it looked cool. >w< However, R and J had passed out for most of it, and N was slipping in and out of consciousness, so for the most part it was either him and I or just me playing. Near the end, N commented about how we need to "slow down on the rum" for some reason, but then I woke up.

Dream Fragment - I don't think this dream ever fully formed, it really was a legitimate framgent. What I do remember is that I'm pretty sure Linkzelda was there and we were talking about schizophrenia, and I vaguely recall either putting on or already wearing a two-piece bathing suit that releases dopamine, which sounds insanely awesome. XD

      #3 - Karaoke Game [Non-Lucid]

My cousin K and some friend of hers had left a karaoke game at my house and I played it with her friend since K had already left I suppose, but I didn't really know any of the few songs they had already unlocked so I wasn't doing very well. Later the girl just kind of vanished and I went to turn off the game, originally thinking it was in my GameCube but then realizing that it actually had its own system set up next to it. I looked through the menus a bit more and noticed that it was a Disney game and the characters were all kids and moms. I specifically remember seeing a little boy based on Mickey and a tall, completely black-and-shiny-skinned voluptuous woman based on Minnie. o.o I turned the game off and wandered into the kitchen and started getting really nauseous for some reason. I looked at the clock and noticed that it was almost 11:30 AM, and I thought to myself that it must be because of all the dream aids I took. () I went to grab a cookie to eat to try to make the nausea pass, but then I woke up, thankfully not nauseous for real.

      The old theater (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I didn't dream last night. Its something that happens from time to time. I've been told that it happens to some people. They just go to bed and wake up later unaware of how much time has passed. They may feel refreshed or even more tired then when they started. Some times they don't even realize how much time has passed only to find there late for something. Thats when they have to go threw the shock phase of running around in a hurry unsure if they entered the twilight zone or not.

For me to say I don't dream isn't entirely accurate. There is some form of dreaming going on but its very primitive and not even what i would consider mental activity at all. I would go to sleep and soon as the lights are out in my mind it would just stay dark. Like sitting in an old theater. All alone in my chair staring at a big screen. The previews just finished playing, you can hear the speakers pop as it switches off the radio station track, and the whole room is dark waiting for the picture to begin. It never dose. So I sit there for what seems like 20 or 30 minutes just waiting. I have no thoughts and hear no sounds. Even the theater i just described is just my way of explaining the situation of sitting in total darkness.

In movies when a character either dies or enters some kind of limbo they show up in a white room with a ceiling and floor but no walls. The room is massive and goes on forever. If it wasn't for the ceiling over head you would believe you are just in an open area. When I don't dream its just like that, but reversed. I have no body or thoughts or even feelings, just emptiness in the void.

    12. Day 0: Latex And Superpowers, The Amazing Future Smeargle

      by , 07-23-2012 at 08:01 PM
Supplement Dose: 10 mg Melatonin, 50 mg Zinc

Spoiler for Why I Took These Supplements:

      #1 - Latex And Superpowers [Non-Lucid]

There was a lot going in this dream leading up to this point, but where my memory really comes in was at a cafeteria on a college campus. I was really late for lunch so even though I looked around a bit I didn't really get to eat anything. At one point I went and waited by a doorway for M who was apparently on the other side of the wall but being held up by something, and it randomly occurred to me that I was wearing something like this:

Though, I can't remember if it was those colors exactly; I didn't pay much attention to myself. Two other girls walked up also wearing latex outfits and heels and I recognized them as more friends of M. Eventually the three of us decided to go see what was taking M so long and "get her out of trouble". (I wrote that in my notes, followed by "(they thought she was too young)", but I'm not exactly sure what it means now.) After a short talk I guess I forgot about M, and my friend J walked up and tried to kiss me on the cheek, which really weirded me out considering that it was coming from him. Our mutual friend S who was a grade below us in school was there too, and she claimed that she decided to get "happy and drunk". I randomly jumped up on her back so she was giving me a piggyback ride, and I told her that with me there we'd be able to phase through walls so she didn't have to worry about that. We started walking through walls randomly and talking about college, but around that time the dream was starting to become unstable, and soon
      I woke up.

Visualization came extremely easily after this dream. I probably could've done a WILD if I wanted to, but I was sort of focused on something when I woke up.

      #2 - The Amazing Future Smeargle [Non-Lucid]

This entire dream took place in third-person, and thus a lot of it is hard to recall now. I had the feeling that I was playing some new Pokémon game, but it was just that the screen was taking up my entire perception. Essentially, the plot was about some insanely powerful Smeargle who was completely dominating all of the Pokémon in the world in the future, and so the legendary beasts sent it back in time to get rid of it, but as a result others followed it to continue trying to beat it while certain organizations were trying to capture it for themselves. By this point in the game I already had it on my team, along with a few other fully-trained Pokémon, but I can't really remember what they were now (but I do remember something about fighting the legendary beasts). The Smeargle really was kicking ass; I'm pretty sure its moves were Fire Blast, SolarBeam, I want to say maybe Earthquake, and something else I don't quite recall now.... A terrible spread, but it was doing pretty well in-game. X) Not long after a battle ended, I woke up.

Also, thanks for the idea for this, RobStar. It's going to come in handy.

    13. Funeral Home Maze / The Sad Clown

      by , 07-23-2012 at 04:16 PM
i had kind of a fitful sleep last night that was filled with odd dreams. I only remember two of them:

in the first i was in a dimly lit funeral home with some older guy whom i understood to be the mortician. He was telling me about a horribly mutilated body that had come in, saying that it scared him to even look at it. We were trying to just leave the building, but couldn't find the way out. Every time he opened a door he would say that it didn't lead to where it was supposed to and that the spirit that belonged to this body was causing it. He was getting more and more exasperated... finally he opened a door to the embalming room holding the body. It was strung up with gore that formed something like a spiderweb that stretched from wall to wall, taking up the entire room. Body parts were stuck in it here and there, including the head whose eyes were open.

in the second dream i remember, i thought i was watching a movie. I don't remember the entire beginning, but it was about an older black guy who was a professional clown. For whatever reason he was forced to join the navy... i think as a cook. He had tried repeatedly to get out, saying that he couldn't stand the isolation of being at sea. It kind of dragged on but in the last scene he put on his clown outfit and makeup and went on deck during some sort of ceremony. He took out a pistol and shot himself in the head, blowing half of it off. He was still alive, and yelling about how he wanted to go home. It was really horrible, but everyone on the ship was laughing. The intensity of the scene made me forget that it was supposed to be a movie, and i was yelling at everyone to shut up. Finally, he fell over dead. His last word was "DEEEEEEEERP," which made everyone laugh even harder.
    14. Ghost

by , 07-23-2012 at 02:29 PM (Magic Box)
I walked out of a door. I apparently just left my classroom. Someone was also with me, I don't know how, but I just knew she was a close friend. I couldn't remember her face though.

I slammed the classroom door shut behind us. I had the feeling that we were the last ones in the building. We started walking toward the stairs, but suddenly the door I just closed started to open by itself. I remember hearing the slow creaking sound too. "What's happening?", my friend asked. "I don't know, I closed it I swear!!", I replied. Wide-eyed, we looked at each other for a second, then dashed for the stairs. I shoved her aside so I could go down first (move b*tch! lol).

I'm pretty sure we were on the 4th floor. So I thought "Man, 3 more floors to go!". My friend had caught up with me by that time, so we went down together. We were still panicking because of the ghost opening the door upstairs.

We reached the first floor finally, and on our way out, I could see some of our other classmates waiting for us in the distance. My friend went ahead and ran to them. I was going to, but I noticed a little boy standing just outside the door. I went to him and told him to get out of there, because there was a ghost. He said it wasn't true, and that ghosts weren't real. I was flailing my arms at him, trying to get him to come with me. He wouldn't listen though, so I just left him and ran to my classmates.

When I arrived, they asked, "Who were you talking to?".

I said, "The boy won't listen to me! I told him to get away from there!".

Then they said the creepiest thing.

"What boy? There was nobody there. You were talking to yourself."

    15. Doctor Who Dreams/Second LD

by , 07-23-2012 at 01:36 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I went to bed around midnight (kinda late for me) and woke up at some point during the night due to a thunderstorm. I fell back asleep not long after it passed and had the first dream I remember from last night. It was about the Doctor (the Eleventh Doctor, to be specific). I was watching in third-person, by the way. Anyway, he went into this weird, cartoon-like place. It became realistic fairly quickly, and then there was some epic battle I can barely recall between the Doctor and some guy I'm assuming was a bad guy.

I woke up again at 6:30 and decided to go back to sleep. This time, I dreamed that I WAS the Doctor... and I was just outside at my church. I went around to the side of the building (which is actually my friend's backyard; she's the pastor's daughter and lives next door to the church. Their backyard essentially doubles as church property) to find the TARDIS and Amy Pond. I found the TARDIS right where I expected and entered it. Unlike on the show, it was NOT bigger on the inside. Anyway, for some reason, I got mad at Amy (who had apparently been allowed to fly the TARDIS) for leaving it out in the rain (I'm not sure why; besides, it was barely even raining).

(It's not really surprising my mind would dream up something like that, seeing as I went to church yesterday and then watched Doctor Who later. Well, it is a bit odd that I was the Doctor, though... I'm almost ALWAYS myself in dreams.)

I woke up to find it was only 6:45. I drifted off to sleep yet again and woke up without recalling any dreams... or so I thought. I noticed a big Pikachu bead sprite on my wall and couldn't remember it ever being there, so I looked at my hand to see if I was dreaming. I counted five fingers, concluded that I wasn't dreaming, and picked up my iPod to check the time. Well, whatever the time was, it wasn't 103:53. Now, I knew I that I WAS dreaming after all. After the two attempts it took to unlock my iPod (it glitched up the first time), I noticed that I had some apps I don't have in real life as well as a different background. The background was bright orange. Upon closer inspection, I realized it had a picture with rather a lot of text over the top (also in orange, but in a different shade). I tried to read what it said but discovered that it was all in gibberish.

I put my iPod down and sat up, ready to try some dream control. Despite having full (or, at the very least, a lot of) control over myself, it didn't occur to me at the time that I had immediate LD goals (i.e., completing the TOTM and meeting my dream guide), so I just decided to do the first thing that came to mind. I closed my eyes. 'When I open my eyes, I will be in... Skyloft!' I thought to myself, naming the first fictional place that came to mind. I opened my eyes, a bit disappointed that I was still in my room.

I remembered that some people unintentionally wake up when they close their eyes, so I checked my iPod again to make sure I was still dreaming. It still said the time was 103:53. I was still dreaming. Being one who likes to sleep in in the mornings, I laid back down and closed my eyes, finding myself back in reality shortly after.
