    1. 1920s Train Station

by , 01-30-2012 at 12:08 AM (Second Reality Experiences)
Two poachers had killed a massive lion and it was lying dead and floating in water in a large swamp. They were upset at each other because they didn't know how they were going to carry it out of the place. Not only was the body heavy, it was submerged in water so it felt like a nearly impossible task. At some point I became lucid.

I walked into a large building next to the swamp. It ended up being a 1920's train station. It was decorated nicely. For some reason there were bookcases with large books and odd assortments of things you would picture in a study room - such as telescopes and globes etc. Everything was perfectly new and well kept even though it had a definite 20's feel. Swing music started playing in the background and I started dancing to it counting the correct steps we used in swing dance in high school. Shortly after that an older lady DC walked into the hallway from a seperate room. She was probably in her 50s or 60s but still looked very pretty, like Jessica Lang, and was also dressed to fit the vintage look of the place. I walked over toward her.

"Do you know who I am?" I asked her

She cupped my face in her hands and I could see tears forming in her eyes.

"You don't remember, do you?" she said.

She fell to her knees and just started sobbing. I felt so much sadness and sorrow emanating from her. I didn't know what to do - I really did not know who she was or where I had seen her before. I knelt down and kissed her lips. I don't know why. It just felt appropriate at the time - as if it were to say I was sorry. As i did that, everything faded to darkness and I woke up.

    2. Brightening up the Mojave

Two dreams? Or maybe one? Doesn't matter because they're fragments.

Something about me being in a room and some girl walks into the room, she doesn't look normal, there was something odd about her.

Me and a friend were in the Mojave Desert. We planted some flowers, I don't know why.
    3. An unexpected ride and the class that would ruin my day.

      by , 01-29-2012 at 10:16 PM
I don't remember how the dream started, but I do remember that soon after my Mom would be driving us on a very high up freeway. It was kind of scary, and she was yelling at us for something, don't remember what though. Next thing I knew, we flew off the freeway, our car turned into one of those innertubes you see at a waterpark, and we started floating down a fast series of tubes like I was at one of those waterparks, and it was there that I almost lost my phone, my mom, and my brother. When we reached the bottom, we were asked to pay 40 bucks for riding the ride, and so we did.

Next thing I knew I was staring at a strange badge with Chip or Dale's face on it and one of their butts. It was weird, but I was also in my 6th grade classroom with my 11th grade math classmates. I was told to pull of my shirt, and so I did, but this girl who I was friends with back then was staring at my chest, which was weird since I don't have the most attractive of torsos. Anywho, she just kept staring, and I kept silent. That was weird, but it was all I remembered.
    4. 01/09/2012 and 01/10/2012 - 1) "Two Left Feet", 2) "Illusionista" [+ Fragment]

      Dream Fragment One
I was boarding a train, but I can't remember where I was supposed to be going. What I did come to find out was that I'd gotten onto the wrong, and the one I was on was heading 'non-stopped' to Australia (which made perfect sense. ). I began to panic a bit, thinking that I was going to be stuck on this train for God knows how long. But, not too far from where we'd boarded, we came to another station, where I was able to hop onto a different train and head back the other way. For some reason (probably because I didn't have a ticket for this new train), I had to share an 'undercarriage' beneath the train - which had about as much room as the space beneath an 18-wheeler's trailer. There were a few other people down there, and we were holding on for dear life, to the small planks that separated us from the train tracks which were whizzing by, beneath us. With the way we had to hold onto the planks, I kept getting nervous that my fingers were going to get caught in the wheels and severed.

      Dream Two
      "Two Left Feet"

I remember being in an apartment complex type of setting. There were a few women there, who were around my age, and a couple of little kids that were running around the area. I was having a lot of fun, playing with the kids, and this one girl - in particular - was really checking me out. She seemed to be watching how I interacted with the kids, and by the huge smile on her face, I could see that she approved. Later, I was at a nightclub and saw her in the crowd. When she noticed me, she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the dancefloor, just as "Ice Ice Baby" came on. We just laughed at how corny the song selection was and danced to it, anyway.

While we were dancing, I kept having problems because it seemed like random things were just cluttering up the dancefloor, and I kept stepping on them. First it was a broom, that had hap-hazzardly made its way onto the floor. Then, once I was able to navigate clumsily around that, I somehow got my foot stuck into a pillow case. What had once been an attempt to dance now simply turned into me trying to get the damned pillowcase off of my foot, to no avail.

      01/10/2012
      "Illusionista"

There was a crazy alien invasion scenario going on. (Unfortunately, I lost most of the details of the dream.) It was all very intense, and dramatic, with lots of emotional moments between myself and my friends and family. I don't remember too much about the nature of the aliens, themselves, aside from their larval form; they were these small, centipede-like bugs that would burrow into our skin, wherein they would multiply and eventually take over the person's mind, which them became the 'host'. There was an extremely horrific scene in which some of us - myself included - were forced to take knives to our own bodies and cut these parasites out of our flesh (much like in the movie The Ruins), to keep from becoming completely controlled.

Sometime later, I also remember an extremely emotional moment, when I was with my mom, and we were trying to get out of town as the aliens were destroying everything. We were looking back toward the city, and watching an enormous mushroom cloud swell up from where we'd once called home. My mom was sobbing at all we'd lost, and I was trying to console her.

Later, still, we'd come to find out that the entire scenario was an illusion. It was forced upon us by some crazy powerful witch, or something. I can't remember how we'd done it, but we were able to defeat her, and got her locked up in an asylum for the criminally insane. She was being wheeled away on a gurney, and, once she got passed a certain point - and deeper within the bowels of the asylum, she broke free and tried to launch some sort of counter-attack from the inside. She transformed, showing us her true figure, which was human from the torso up, but had the enormous abdomen of an insect. We'd gotten into a final battle, down in a dungeon-esque corner of the building, and were able to inject her with something from a syringe, which made her inhuman abdomen swell up even bigger than it was. Inevitably, it burst, splattering a thick, translucent liquid all over us and the room. After that, though she was still alive, the witch was apparently unable to continue her fight.
    5. The Galantamind Worked / My Most Vivid Lucid Ever...

by , 01-29-2012 at 08:23 AM (My brain and I)
      dream : comments : lucid
      27th of January, 2012

I stayed awake for a while as Nooks prepared to go to work then took a 4mg Galantamind cap and attempted to go back to sleep. I’ve taken Galantamind twice before and it just kept me awake. This time I took it later in the morning (8:30am). It was a struggle, and took me about 40 minutes to get to sleep and I kept having really vivid almost dreams, but once I did finally doze off... Boy.

The dream began as I was driving Nooks’ car. He radio was playing and she had a DVD player on the dashboard that was showing footage taken from the front of the car.

In real life, her radio is broken and I somehow really easily realised that fact and did a RC.

      I was in.

I stayed calm and happily drove along for a bit but began to lose the dream so I relaxed and prepared to DEILD.
Which was extremely successful and I found myself back in the car. This time, once I’d stabilised, I put my foot down on the throttle and smashed into a wall just for funsies. As I got out of the car, I noticed the DVD screen was now showing footage of my back. As if the camera was on the side of the seat.

I wondered if my brain could possibly make a real remote-view camera and waved my arms around to see if it was legit, or just emulating what I did. It was actually really effective and I’m still not sure which was the case. More testing to be done next time!

I got out of the car and was at a warehouse of sorts on an empty street. I rubbed my hands along the walls and commanded for increased lucidity, which, I don’t care what anyone says, works a treat.
I looked around, admiring my comfortable lucidity and lay down on the asphalt to stretch my legs out because they felt a bit weird.

For some reason doing that made me aware of my waking legs and I woke up again.

      Did another successful DEILD and
found myself lying in the same spot later in the evening. (Inception style time-dilation anyone?)
I got up and picked up a large tile to ground myself and was surprised at how real exerting my arm muscles felt. I threw the tile on the ground and eventually found a woman getting into a sports car and asked her where we were. She didn’t seem keen on talking and just got in her car. I wandered around a bit more, kind of bored with my surroundings and then lost the dream again.
I woke up in bed but quickly realised that it was a False Awakening.

As soon as I realised that I woke up for real anyway.

Man, these dreams just aren’t stable at all!

I did another DEILD, this time focussing on running as I went back to sleep. It was an extremely effective method and really helped to feel the dream again. It went rapidly from thinking about running, to sort of feeling running, to fully running in blackness and finally running in a fully formed dream world.

When I stopped, I found myself in a bathroom.

I did a slow little turn around and noticed that the toilet was against the wall facing the cabinet. Completely useless positioning. I laughed at myself and AGAIN started losing the dream so I dove into the ground (a technique I read on here somewhere...) and found myself rolling through blank space. I came to a stop in a ball all caught up in someone’s towel rack in another bathroom. I freed myself from the snare and walked out, ignoring the naked Asian man in the bath.

I found myself in a home office area with warm light coming through the curtains. I briefly woke up again but DEILDed straight back into the same room. This time heavy bass music was playing from the computer and when I turned around there was a couple having sex in a bed.

“Eff this.” I thought, feeling like I was wasting good lucid time, so I went straight to the window and jumped out.

Evidently this house was actually an apartment because I was about 50 meters off the ground.

I looked around and marvelled and the truly surreal but beautiful landscape. It was a suburb in the early evening. Each house was totally unique and some looked like mini-palaces, bulbous Arabian domes adorned the roofs of some. In the distance a giant, grey tornado was raging and I sat in the air and watched that, impressed with my subconscious and how enormous the draw distance was.
Presently, I calmly flew about (unusually easily for me) and noticed a little house.

“That’s the house with the tiny Christmas town.” I thought to myself* and aimed for it.

As I got closer, I began getting too low and just managed to grab the gutter and pull myself up. The roof was quite soft and grass seeds must’ve been lodged in the gaps because the whole roof was covered with a sparse, fine, bright green grass. I jumped off the roof and into the back yard, again reinforcing that this was the Christmas house. I walked into the garage and looked around, only to find a whole buttload of tools and some cluttered workbenches. I started to get upset and closed my eyes, hoping that the town would be there when I opened them but instead an old couple came into the space. I asked them where the town was.

“Here!” they said and pointed to one of the workbenches.

“We’re still building it.” The old lady continued.

I decided I’d gone back in time and arrived before they’d built it so I dejectedly walked out.

“I’ll be back in the future.” I said as the dream began to fade again. I jumped once more through the floor.

Tumbling once again through blackness, I came to a stop on a similar windowsill to the one I’d previously jumped from in the naked Asian's house. I flew back out and saw a very similar suburb. This time I flew over to a highrise building and looked in a window where I saw a bunch of East German looking thugs.

I turned away and, looking down, saw I was at least 300 meters in the air.

“Sweet!” I thought and screamed down to the ground at enormous speed. I landed in a field and felt a bit pissed off at my subconscious for not letting me go to the toy town so I threw my sunglasses (which apparently I’d been wearing) at a bunch of aloe vera like plants.

I couldn’t help notice how warmly the sun bounced off the leaves and the gentle swaying of the green stems in the breeze. I walked past them and, in a huff, ripped one of the leaves off and chomped into it à la Mzzck’s stabilization suggestion.

It was an unreal sensation. Heavily plant flavoured and really juicy and crunchy.
The mass of different experiences thoroughly grounded me in the dream and I decided that if I couldn’t go to Toy Town, I’d sure as hell fuck shit up.

I walked out onto the middle of the nearby road and jumped in front of the nearest car. The green hatchback slammed into my body, barely making me budge but crushing the metal into itself. I smirked and threw the car onto its roof. The woman driving began slowly pulling herself out of the smashed window saying “You can’t do this...” so I punched her in the face.

As the next car approach I jumped to the side and pushed it into the green car sending both of them careening across the bitumen. Another car came, this time swerving around me. As it drove off I turned to it and raised my arms, forcing it telekinetically to flip over into a ditch.

I think I may have been laughing this whole time, but that’s a bit weird so let’s pretend I wasn’t.

      A motorbike this time.
The rider veered past me and tried to race off but I again turned and, with a small gesture, sent he and the bike flying into the air. I’ve never had such control over powers in dreams and, though I was having fun, I began to feel a little bad for my DC’s at that point and decided to stop.

I turned back around and saw a woman riding a motorbike toward me. I stopped her and asked her name. She replied some strange sounding name (which I tried really hard to remember but can’t!) and took her helmet off. She was quite pretty and looked Scandinavian, without the mannishness.
I asked her name again and she replied with a completely different one then giggled and tried to make it seem normal by saying “I have two names. They’re both my names.”

I got unreasonably annoyed at this and told her that was stupid and that she couldn’t even make an effort to remember her first name.
I picked her up and lead her to the side of the road and began making out with her.

I noticed a strange juicy fungus growing on the ground and picked that up and took a bite.
“Gross!” she said, but I explained my reasoning and she seemed okay with it.
We kissed a bit more and then I realised that it should definitely have been Nooks, so I looked away and back to find her lying there instead. I lay down and found a little red heart-shaped bean on the ground and bit into it. It was really hard and crunchy.
We kissed some more and then I ate some sand to see what that was like.

      It was pretty gross.

Nooks and I got hot and heavy for a while and had some sweet lucid lovin’ before I decided
that it had gone on long enough and if I didn’t wake up now I’d start forgetting everything.

So with that, I woke up, wishing I’d completed at least one of my goals (I should’ve Fus Ro Dah’d some of those cars, man!) but overjoyed at how successful my lucid had been.

*when we went looking at Christmas lights last year, a house we visited had an amazing town of miniatures set up. The buildings and characters and scenery was so awesome, it re-invigorated me to pursue lucid dreaming with all I had. It's what prompted me to join DreamViews and shrinking myself so as to visit and play around in it remains my driving goal.

    6. Chillin' In Korea

by , 01-29-2012 at 02:23 AM (Jakro Goes Hardcore Into LDs)
I've been a little lazy this past couple of days and have not been writing here. My recall is still slightly improving. God, I just wish my dry spell would end. I still need to try harder. Last night though I got decent recall, so here's the dream.

      Chillin' In Korea
      Date: January 28th, 2012
      Lucid: No

I was just walking around in some bustling little asian town, that I just again "knew" was Korea. North or South, I didn't even wonder about that. I was walking around, watching the people going past me, looking at the buildings, just chilling out and feeling good. In fact, I felt like I could move to live in there.

All the sudden this orange truck stops beside me. Somehow I knew that it was Chinese. There were some soldiers and they asked me to get on board. I decided that why not, even if I felt a bit threatened and wondered if I have something to worry about.

In the truck's... what's the word? Let's just say "space in the back", anyway in there was some guy they were holding as prisoner. He was beaten and tortured. I noticed that once of my old army buddies was one of the three soldiers doing the dirty deed and one of them were my sister's boyfriend. Neither of them are really asian and they were just themselves in the dream as well, but for some reason Chinese soldiers as well.

So anyway I was angry about this man being tortured, but they just said that it wasn't against the law and it is what it is. Crazy shit law. I got really angry and in my mind I just rationalized "Well, if beating up a guy into a near death isn't illegal, then killing you isn't illegal either." Somehow I got an assault rifle on my hands and killed all of the soldiers.

At that point the truck was stopped in the middle of the woods, so I was in a perfect spot to get away with my murders. I grabbed the tortured guy on my shoulder and started running away. Most of the time it felt like the other guy weighted nothing, and finally the dream transitioned so that the guy was running along with me.

The environment had also transitioned. It looked like standard Finnish countryside. Some woods, some fields, house and barn here and there. We went across someone's yard and while the other guy got through unnoticed, some old woman spotted me. I tried to squirm my way out of it, but she wouldn't have it. I don't know what she could have done though, so why I just didn't leave? Anyway, the other guy saved me by saying something smooth and in the end we were welcomed inside their house.

We didn't stay for long, as we still had to continue fleeing from the authorities, who will surely eventually find the bodies and start tracking us down.

When that happens though, I'll be already awake.
    7. Figment of happenstance

      by , 01-28-2012 at 07:25 PM
This dream appeared to be a compilation of random memories. Yet, it seemed to fit together well.

At a hotel, the scene appeared rather sepia. I was standing atop something, dropping aerodynamic paper helicopters as part of some experiement.

Later, I was applying bug spray to myself, at a cave park that I previously visited in Eastern Ontario. The spray then became lotion, and it smelled of DEET, mixed with mint, which someone noticed. Perhaps the smell was another facade.

Soon, the scene merged somehow smoothly so that I was at my computer screen, which had an odd colour, resembling jelly in another facade. I soon wake up to the sound of my 8:15 alarm.

I get up, and turn off the alarm, heading back to sleep on this early morning day. A notable lack of woman, my dream had.

After some dream, I wake up - this would have been a WILD if not for the dream in between. At my cupboard of computer stuff in my computer bedroom, the digital clock was on the left side, when it was usually on the right. My computer was on the right side rather than the left, and for some reason it had a computer tower at the corner instead of being a rull laptop. I press the button, and turn off the computer. The tables start shaking, but it doesn't seem to be an earthquake.

Suddenly, the digital clock slides off the cupboard, although there seem to be no papers nearby, and falls onto the table below - SPLAT. I then ask my dad what that shaking might be.

Waking up for real again, I notice the shaking comes from a washing machine downstairs. So then, I fall asleep.

Somehow, I am still at my computer, browsing Facebook. A close friend of mine uploaded a song onto my Wall, which had not yet become a Timeline, as requested by January 31. A blurry, beige, bluish sepia scene was the thumbnail music video.

This was apparently a heavy metal rock song, created by my friends' basement band a few days ago. Its title was "i'm not gay". The subtitle: Few talk about the title. Another friend who I recently added and was a guitarist, liked the video.

Surely there would be comments on a video of this sort on a site like youtube, but there were none confronting the title, only one congratulating the uploader. The green like bar reached 1 like on the video itself.

Another friend had posted a status, initials RM, in the ticker tape on the right-top of the screen. His profile picture was someone drumming, but it was actually a close-up of the socks on top of the bass kickpedal, which was weird. Even weirder, the status said: It always rains when I'm looking at the screen.

Even weirder still, I woke up. Looking outside, the roof was white, and it was snowing, not raining, which was a pleasant thing to see.

Logic does not begin or end with fag - logic begins at hello.
    8. In which I can remember every single detail...

      by , 01-28-2012 at 06:30 PM
Last night I dreamed that one of my housemates sold me to an older Japanese man, a very clean-cut businessman maybe in his 50s, basically to be a prostitute. I fled the house barefoot into a nice suburb and continued running until I reached a mall, where I hid in a shop that sold pewter miniatures run by a girl named "Jenny". This Jenny was a young woman, maybe in her mid-20s, a little chubby and very pretty with short, shaggy blonde hair, wearing a turquoise empire-waisted top with a black zip-up hoodie, black leggings and flats. She also wore very bright red lipstick. I do not recall ever having seen this girl in the waking world but I saw her so vividly in this dream... anyway, she came over, and complimented me on my eyebrows, saying they look perfect, and I told her they're drawn on but she said she could hardly tell.

Suddenly I turned around and the housemate that sold me was there, and he was FURIOUS, shrieking at me that I owe him $250. What for, I don't know. I don't owe him any money in real life, so I dunno. The moment he laid a hand on me, I pushed him off and ran because, well, he had no fucking right to lay a hand on me. I was suddenly in a completely different suburb, this one was prettier than the last, with willow trees lining the streets.

I ended up running into a forest, and when I came out the other side of the forest, there was a field full of middle school aged children playing football at recess or something (even though there was no school in sight). One of the girls on the field was a girl I went to sleepaway camp with when I was 10 named Aliza, only she hadn't aged a day. She had purple streaks in her red hair, though.

I walked over the field and through their game, until I came to yet ANOTHER village; this time they were a bunch of quaint cottage-ish houses surrounding a lake. I've seen this village in my dreams many times, but also never in the waking world (at least I don't think-- maybe it's a long-forgotten memory?). Suddenly, I sensed that somebody incredibly dear to me was nearby, so I called him-- I woke up when he answered the phone with a "hello?"

    9. Drunken Lucidity

      by , 01-28-2012 at 12:04 PM
Last night, I went to gym with friend, we ended up with some irish liquor and beers in veins, so we called it night at about 2 a.m. When I went sleeping I almost immidiately started dreaming. Thing was, that it was not a different from regular dream. When I woke myself up because I was thirsty a realised that I had pretty long dreaming state. I almost immidiately fell asleep again, but now I got serious WILD. 1st in my life (That is also the reason why I am typing in Dream Journals). It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. Sad part is that I attained lucidity after so much dreams I had that night. It was almost incredible how much stories I went through that night, maybe that all and confusion from all that happening is one of many reasons I attained lucidity.

1st dream - I remember was some kind of post-apocalyptic scenario with my friends don't remember much details.
2nd dream - Only thing I remember clearly is that myself and bunch of people were defending some kind of futuristic warehouse from alien invasion.

At this point everything is normal, I didn't realise I am dreaming but this is when the scary and fascinating part kicks in.

3rd dream (I guess there was more, but I really can't remember) - After so much scenarios I I suddenly woke up in my hometown. Sitting on fountain, everything was covered in snow (as it is right now) and I was talking with some stranger. I suddenly realised that this is different than normal, we were talking about things and when he wrote something on the floor and told me to figure out what it is I suddenly obtained lucidity and absolute confusion. All I saw being carved in the snow was bunch of marks that gave no reason whatsoever. It was like some 4 yo kid trying to draw. I suddenly remembered that dream characters most of the time won't know that they are in dream. They acted normal, like in real-life. So I looked at my dream visitor and asked him If he knows that this is just a dream, he said yes.
I was in confusion and realised that everything that is happening is either my brain talking to itself, or this is some astral figure that I am talking to. I asked him again, wheter am I talking to myself or someone different. He said that he is not part of me. I could control the landscape, and fly through skies but I could not control this character. All I remember that we had lenghty discussion from which I don't remember anything at all. Last thing I remember clearly that I asked him: Are you god? Or some other kind of spiritual being? He wrote something in the snow at which I looked and all I saw were the same marks I saw last time. Then he disappeared and I tried to learn how to fly. Everyone is always so excited about flying in matters of lucid dreaming so I wanted to try it myself. After few not-that-succesful jumps I somehow flew into the skies, just wandering around the town. Then I was starting to lose lucidity once again.

I can tell it was wonderful experience and I highly recommend learing Reality checks, it will help you attatin lucidity in your dreaming experiences (As I gained my through reading strange signs )

    10. Attacked By Scream(the serial killer)

      by , 01-28-2012 at 04:11 AM (LMR's Mental Adventures)
Well i'm gonna warn you that this is the longest I have had so far and is gonna be a LOT of words. Before you read this understand that i'm not racist against anybody (i'm black but everybody says I act white, but I can't help it)

Well i'm looking for something near some bushes in front tree's that divide lawn's between some of my neighbors house. Anyway, there are some vicious dogs behind the trees, on a chain. So we are looking in the bushes and we see simething move and everyone but me jumps, and we are laughing because the oldest person out of us was scared the most. So we continue looking in the bushes for some unknown item. Then we hear a loud chain rattle like the dogs were moving towards us and everybody, i mean everybody jumps and runs away as fast as humanly possible. I jumped (and when I jump in a dream I go literally miles into the air and i don't know why I didn't see this as a reality check and fly away) like miles into the air and looked down (i have a fear of heights) and almost had a heart attack because the logical part of my brain kind of woke up and I thought I was gonna break my ankles when I landed. I was looking over the entire neighborhood like floating through the air, it was basically jumping at an angle so I glided over the neighborhood. Now that I think of it, it was exciting and AWESOME. For some reason after I landed the first time I jumped again even though their was no threat. I noticed while I was jumping the group I was with was saying I must have been really scared because I was still in the air. After a while I just ended up at my grandma's house. I was near her room and my aunt is talking to my grandpa and when I walk up to them and he tells me one of my girl (notice the space) friend's has sexy curves. I told him that if he was to come near her she would kill him with a fiery passion. My aunt tells me to go do something, so I walk away and I hear her go outside. I then open the door to be nosy and see what they're doing but she's behind the door sitting in a chair and says "What are you doing" so I say "sorry i'm nosy as eff and I had to come out here to see what y'all were doing. She tells me he went in my grandmas room and I say okay. Then an extremely short and BLACK, I mean really black and ghetto sixth grader comes up to us, OUT OF NOWHERE and says he goes out with one of my class mate's (she is classy, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and doesn't date black people). So I tell him in exact words "no you don't, you muss be confused cuz she don't wanch (want in ghetto language) you". So then I start running around screaming that the child is really confused. After that i'm in the hallway in my school. Me and one of my friends (can't remember which one) are talking. I then realize I am dreaming from no dream signs or anything. I try to will the setting of the school to change to something else but I loose lucidity and enter a class room. The class only has a few people in it and we are all talking. So while i'm talking to one of my friends the wall in the back if the room bursts and I see the killer "scream" behind the smoke. He walks toward me in that slow killer way and I run behind the desk (for some reason I don't feel like getting in a knife fight in this dream, the killer usually ends up running away in fear) and dodge the killer, so he tries to well kill me but I keep running and dodging him and he eventually runs away so I ask the class who is the killer after(i know it sounds stupid), and one of my friends says me, so I stuff her in my backpack and she starts laughing and i say that sounds like someone else is in there and it is. I don't realize that the people switched places as i'm walking towards the door I turn around three of the scream killers. I stop walking and they start running. I try to run away from one through the desks but they corner me off. I hit him and ran from the other killers with her still in my backpack and i dodge and eveade the killers until they all eventually run away. After they leave I get pissed off for some reason and wake up.

I remember I was sent back to an old school I used to go to and, now have to stay there for school, though why I wasn't told.
Upon getting there, I remember distinctly thinking "This place looks ... different" I think nothing of it after that, thinking they just went through renovations.
( At least I'm showing signs of starting to question dream worlds )
I go to classes, each ends a couple seconds after I get there, each class already assigning homework at this time as well.
The bell rings for lunch, though I'm late getting out of class, causing me to only have ten minutes to eat. I figure it's too late to go to a store, so I try finding a vending machine, it takes me five dream minutes to find a vending machine, during this point in time I'm thinking "where the hell is a vending machine." I finally find one (though, it's less of a vending machine and more of a consession area with one choice of food) I get into line, though I figure I won't get to the front by the time class starts, so I look outside for a sec and ponder if I could get to the stores at the top in time. I figure I should give it a try and start on my way up.
Now, on the way to the stores, you have to go up a gradual hill. On the left side there's was what seems to be an abandoned train yard. I find it weird but think nothing more of it from there on in. When I get to the top of the hill, I notice there's no stores at all, but instead a field, with grass so green, it has a tinge of blue to it, and a place where beautiful doesn't even begin to describe the area. In the middle of this tiny field, there's a flower ( the flower kept changing from a daisy to a bluebell) beside the flower was a white rabbit, standing on its hind legs, watching me intently. I started to walk into the field, looking around, trying to see it all.
I got to the flower and the rabbit starts to gesture for me to take the flower. I grab the flower and pull it out of the ground. As I start to get up, the flower turns into five big packets of mini eggs. I nod at the rabbit as a thank you, and I run off. Upon getting back, I'm already late, though feeling satisfied, I take my time.

      Dream sign :
It seems I've been to this area once before in a dream, though this was when I was making my way to a bus. It seems I've expanded the outskirts of the school and the area where the stores are. Interesting expansion as well.

I was at my old house, in the yard.. I opened the door of the shed, there was my cat. She was very big and was delivering maany little baby kitti's :3 ..I saw one with closed eyes and unbrushed hair and all.. just how kittens should look like. I walked further so I could see my cat, she lay on a table... I can only remember vaguely that there was someone standing next to me, but I'm not sure. Just when I started talking to my cat, she began to deliver another baby again.. but I turned my head for some reason... then I saw something, left under the table, it was another cat, a bigger one, he was black with white and I saw his tungue.. guess I was talking to him, not really vivid. It could have been my old cat who disapeared in that house..

Oh well.. then my alarm went off, but I snoozed back in my dreams.

I woke up several times, and I always look at my clock when I do. so I guess I just had to have a weird dream about being late or time ..something. It was kindof a false awakening 'cause my brother came into my room, asking if I'm not gonna be late for school and all. I said no, it's only -this time- then we did some game on the computer or something, very short, then he started nagging again about the time. I looked at the time on my computer.. this time it was really late: 09:34 I still know the exact time. Then we started stressing and all.. and there happened to be a weird bar on my stereo, it was really long and we kicked against it. Then I woke up again, snoozed again, then I was looking at two giraffe's.. they were VERY long. Their legs were very thin and long, like straws as big as 2 or 3 lamppoles. And they were walking very uneasy.. and almost fell.
      Was very funny though xD

Oh, and when I woke up, it was 09;15 ..I didn't have to worry yet. I guess I dreamt of that because I accidentally missed the snooze button, so I wasn't going to be alarmed anymore xD and my unconscience knew that. How smart.
    13. My First Real Lucid!

      by , 01-27-2012 at 03:04 PM
I've been reading this site for about two weeks and trying to lucid dream. A few days ago I succeeded in remembering to perform a reality check (pinched my nose and breathed), but awoke before I had a chance to try to stabilize. While technically lucid, it lasted only a second, so I'm not counting it.

I just woke up from a somewhat longer lucid dream and jumped out of bed, eager to write it about it. This was using WBTB method early in the morning, and I hadn't even expected it to happen -- it was a pleasant surprise. I probably should have gotten up for the day when my alarm went off the first time but decided to add another hour and take another nap... glad I did! Within that hour I had a very cool LD.

I remembered to RC this time as well, first by holding my nose, and then by putting my finger through the palm of my hand. I wasn't sure I was really dreaming most of the time and thought I was aware of my body back in my bed, though now I realize I was only imagining I was aware of it; I thought I was sleeping on the top bunk that I had back when I was young. At one point in the dream I took off, flying through the air, and could have sworn I was wrapping my real arms around my real bed to keep from flying off of it, except that I was actually sleeping on a futon, not a bunk bed as I had imagined. I also could have sworn I had real headphones on because I could clearly and loudly hear Radiohead coming out of them. I thought that was real too, but when I woke up later I realized I had only imagined it. Music is very clear and distinct to me close to dreaming. I don't need to listen at all, just imagine it, and it's perfect.

I had trouble controlling the dream. I tried the spinning technique to stabilize it but had a hard time visualizing a scene around me. I think I couldn't decide what scene I wanted. When I eventually woke up it was because I was failing to stabilize. Inside the dream it was a bit cartoonish. I saw an elephant at one point chasing a mouse down a hole and then popping up a different hole, etc, something like it was from Alice in Wonderland or Dr Seuss. I wanted to imagine life-like people, but couldn't. I distinctly remember saying to myself, "well, I'm lucid dreaming, so what now?" which is when I decided to see if I could fly. Immediately I was soaring through the air, twisting all around, feeling the Gs, and then dove low over an ocean. The ocean sparkled with sunlight as if it were real. Soon I was in a never-ending wave -- I'm not a surfer, so this was a little strange for me. Soon it was back to the cartoon-landscape.

I think there was more, but I've already forgotten. I haven't felt this invigorated in a long time. This makes me want to go right back to sleep, but I know I'm too excited and it won't work. Tonight I'll have another go.
    14. Scariest dream event in my whole life. This is one I will never forget.

Last night my dreams were realistic plentiful, but just completely boring job dreams. Then while going to my car to go home, I am hit by a car. My leg was crushed and bent backwards with a fiendishly realistic sensation of broken bones and pain. Suddenly I realize I cant be at work because I recently saw it was dark outside, but now it's bright and sunny. I was never ever so glad to realize I was dreaming, I decided very quickly right then and there to end the dream. I did everything I could think of that would probably end the dream and I was never so relived to go back to my cozy sleep paralyses ridden body. But here is where the nightmare began, an unbelievable thing happened. I could clearly feel my real body going through sleep paralyses while, and I still can't believe this really happened: The *beep* sensation of a broken bent backwards leg (pain and all) followed me from the dreamworld! It was as tho the dream body and real body were one sensation scrambled together in my mind. I was absolutely 110% convinced at the time that I had fallen off my bed and really had done this to my leg. So I tried to move my leg and it was moving with a sensation that it was bending around an impossible angle, with an unreal sensation of all these broken bones and pain (no words can describe how real it was). Sleep paralyses was weaning down, but my foot still felt as it was. I began to feel absolute panic, thinking am I going to walk again ect, then a shift happened, I felt a split. And two separate body's one where my leg was horrifically painful and one where it felt no pain. I knew one of these leg's has to become less real and vanish. And so the painful leg slowly became the less real of the two right leg's until my body with just a memory of sleep paralyses felt no pain. Yes as my title suggests this is one I will never forget. Afterward I walked around my room and pondered for hours about how realistic dreams can truly become, I didn't dare go back to sleep to fade the dreams freshness. I also thought about what Aron Lee Ralston (read 127hours) had to go through, I can't imagine the courage to do what he had to do. All in all tho the experience was humbling and rewarding. Never forget your dreams, even the bad ones.

    15. Me VS Voldemort

      by , 01-27-2012 at 01:05 AM
This is a dream i had back in 2010. Picked it randomly from my dream journal.

So in my dream I wake up beside a deflated hot air balloon in the middle of a field. I look around and spot my friend. Confused I walk over to her and say, “Where are we? How did we get here?” She laughs and replied “Well it’s really no wonder you don’t remember; you ate way too many shrooms!” Not being one that ever partakes in such things I say I didn’t eat any and she says, “Not that you knew what you were eating” She gives me a menacing smile and I just shrug. “Whatever, let’s get out of here.
Later after walking to a town we walk into a random shop. I spot a super-hot guy and we start chatting. Sometime he abruptly stops and glances around nervously. “We have to get out of here. Like right now!” He says. “Why?” I am now also looking around but see nothing. “Death Eaters!” He grabs me and my friend and throws open a small closet door and shoves us inside, then follows himself. He shuts the door then opens it again only it opens up into somewhere completely different.
He tells us we are at Hogwarts. After meeting Dumbledore Death Eaters along with Voldemort show up and a huge battle ensues. I personally fight Voldemort. I Beat him but he gets away swearing he will get his revenge.
Later(Dreams jumps or I don’t remember what happened in-between) I’m sitting in a bar. I man comes in, spots me, and goes back outside. I here from outside “Yep she’s in there” “Let go then.” I instantly know it’s Voldemort so get up and make a run for it. I run to the back of the bar and open the first door I see and run inside. Oddly the room I run into is my brother’s. He is playing Halo and yells for me to get out of his room. “Can’t.” I reply “Voldemort is out there” My brother laughs “He isn’t real” Not paying attention to him any longer I look for an escape route but the one door is the only way in or out.
Voldemort bursts in blowing the door to bits. My brother with a shocked face yells “SHIT!” Then Voldemort Avada Kedavraed him and he died. Then using a spell lifts me off the ground and says “Any last words?” I smile and reply “Yes actually.” And it was that moment I woke up.

The reason i was smiling at the end was because i kind of realized none of it was real. It was like the moment right before you come to the conclusion that your dreaming. To bad i woke up, probably would have gone lucid.
