    1. A Three Lucid Morning

      by , 06-22-2010 at 03:40 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
Woah, I'm glad I decided to go back to sleep.

1- Puppy with a Thousand Names
I just bought a cute little dachshund puppy, but I can't come up with a name. Everytime I think of one I like, I forget it and come up with something else. To start with I'm calling her Doris, then Matilda, then Samantha...

I teach her how to play fetch.... She's just so cuuute!

2- Battle of Fire and Water
I am surrounded by evil monks. My master is wounded; this battle is in my hands. But how can ONE win against THOUSANDS? I am barely able to keep them at bay with my fire magic, and my mana is running low. I quickly drink a potion which restores my power. But what good will it do? How can I defeat them? "Get them away from the floodgates," my master instructs. After a few failed attempts, I do as he says. Water rushes out of the gates and they all drown.

      3- Playing with Time Warps

I am with the Doctor; he is a bit impatient with my cousin, so he decides to screw with her head a bit. He creates a time warp, and she walks up to him just as he is talking to a past version of her. She freaks out and runs away. Our laughter is interrupted by the sound of marching. A whole legion of warriors is coming out of Wal-Mart!

"You of all people should know the dangers of playing with time warps!" I accuse as the army advances on us. "Look what you've done!"

The general wants us both dead. Before he gives the order to attack, he randomly stabs an arrow into the head of a dwarf standing beside him. Okay, what was the point of that?

The battle commences. I have a sword, and am actually doing a really good job of killing the soldiers. This is fun! The army is actually a mixture of humans and enslaved dwarves... I end up killing the arrow-dwarf's brother, and he wants revenge. (How is he still alive with that arrow sticking out of his head?) I knock him underneath a car. Now he can't sit up without the arrow hitting the bottom of the vehicle. Looks like a very painful way to be stuck...

The scene changes; now I'm working for the General. I get an email about something detrimental to the General's plans. I can't let him see this... This could be the key to getting rid of him once and for all.

      4- Expectations (DEILD)
Darkness. I'm not in SP anymore, I guess I woke up. But I RC anyway and become lucid. Yay! Only now, I can't open my eyes. Hmm... I take my sleep mask off, which has transferred over into the dream, but my eyes still won't open. I use my fingers and try to PRY them open... still no success. Oh well, I'll be able to see through them in a minute. I wander around the house blindly until I can see. I feel sort of confused though... For some reason I think I'm invisible.

I go in my brother's room, where Steven and Matt are listening to the radio. I want to mess with them, so I throw something off the dresser at them. Apparently I'm not invisible, after all.

My attention turns to the radio. Everything it is saying makes perfect sense. The commercials and the songs are all in real life clarity. Do they have this playing IRL? If not, my subconscious is awesome!

I go outside. It's really dark, but I ignore this. I'm already having problems with staying in the dream, I need to stabilize this before I worry about the lights. (Or lack thereof.)

I'm thinking about Leroy all of a sudden, and a man suddenly appears in front of me. Thinking it's my dream guide, I abruptly lose all my self-control and leap at him, giving him a big hug. I see a bit too late that I'm wrong, that this is just a random DC,
      and I wake up.

((Oops. I'm glad that wasn't Leroy, after all, since I had to go and act like that. Again.))

      5- A WILD within a DEILD
I DEILD back into the dream. Yet again, I'm having the same problem with my eyes. I briefly consider ripping my eyelids off, but decide I don't really want to find out what that would feel like.

I walk out of my room, into the hallway. I still can't see, but I am able to tell where I am just as easily. This dream is still really unstable... Maybe if I WILD within the dream, into a different dream, it will fix things? Worth a shot, anyway.

I lay down right there on the floor, close my eyes (they were open, despite my blindness) and enter SP. There is a vague sensation of rolling around, and then...

      6- Exploration
...I am fully lucid in a new dream. Better yet, I can SEE again!

Now I suddenly feel as if I need to prove myself for some reason. Maybe I'll go fight that werewolf... I head off toward it's lair. It's still pretty dark out, and there are random people along the road. Once I reach M's house I run into two mean looking dogs. I think they may have been in the pack that tried to kill me in another dream... "Hey, little doggies!" I say fondly, using passive control to make them like me. I pet them. "Wanna come help me kill a big bad werewolf?" Apparently not, they run off. I turn and fly toward the south. I'm near where I'm supposed to be; the warehouse where the werewolf lives is somewhere back here.

Now, however, I'm distracted by the mountains beyond that. I had read something that The Cusp posted about dream mapping, about how there are certain borders on the edges of your dreamworld and that it's impossible to get past them. Well, I'll just have to see about that for myself. After a lot of flying and climbing, I make it over the mountains... only to find more mountains in the distance. Gah... I'm not going that far.

Below me, there is a city. Since I'm here, I might as well check it out. I jump down, right in the middle of the road. Cars are coming at me from all directions, but I am unconcerned. It's fun leaping over them. A little tiny car drives by... I wonder what kind of person would drive something that small? I catch up with it and sit on top, riding through the city.

I reach the lower district and get off. I am surprised by the variety of people, and how real they all look. Everything is so detailed; how could my mind possibly come up with all these different people?
The dream fades, and I wake up.
    2. A Lot of WTF Moments

      by , 06-18-2010 at 01:51 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
All day yesterday I felt sort of drained. Even when I was doing active things, such as Karate, I felt like it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. Not sure what that was all about, but it made recall throughout the night a bit difficult.

      1- Fading to Nothingness
The first part of the dream is indecipherable. Something to do with... karate, maybe. The vague feeling of failure. A convenience store? Or some place with a lot of shelves...

Later, I am lucid, but everything has gone weird. I am watching the dream from above; it looks more like a map than a scene. There is a circle of colored squares; each square represents a dreamer. The big blue square beside me is WakingNomad. He is giving us all instructions of some kind, possibly about shared dreaming. ((If I hadn't had my sun sound mp3 playing in my ears, I wouldn't have even realized that I had woken up a few seconds after this.))

      2- The WTF Ghost Race
In school, but class is a video game. Our eventual goal is to dispel some nasty ghost pirates, but first we have to do a lot of random tasks. There is a map in the top right corner of my vision that has our goal markers on it. First, we are in a hallway that forks off into three other hallways. They all loop back around to the central one. Our goal is to run through these hallways in the right order for quite a good number of times. If we get the order screwed up, we have to start over. Our instructor tells us that the pattern is center, left, right. We run around for ages until we have achieved our first goal.

Next we have to meet up at the pirate king's gravestone. I am no longer paying much attention, because I have a major problem. For some reason, I accidentally brought a pocket knife with me, and I am worried that the teachers will find it and I'll get expelled.

      3- Poor Undead Kitty
We are riding our bikes along the interstate, of all places. I am going faster than some of the cars, which surprises me. Am I really going 60 miles per hour on my bicycle? I abruptly lose balance and topple over, sprawling out face first in the emergency lane. Uninjured, I leap to my feet and move my bike from the middle of the road. Wow, I'm glad that didn't kill me.

My dad and brother have stopped to make sure I am okay. Hey, look! A cat! I walk over to the edge of the woods where a pitiful looking cat is standing, mewing helplessly. I notice that she is missing all her fur... Her skin is pink and purple like the Cheshire cat. "Aww, we can't just leave her here! Let's take her home with us!"

My dad looks at me skeptically. "I'm not taking care of any cat."

"You don't have to! I know Chris can't turn down a stray, so we'll be able to keep it."

My brother picks it up. It now has white, fluffy fur, but I don't notice the difference. We start walking home ((what happened to our bikes?)) when suddenly Steven freaks out. "Uh... we have a problem." Concerned, I go over to him to see what he's talking about. He holds the cat up, showing me it's underside.

Holy crap! The cat has a huge slash going all the way from it's chest to it's belly... AND IT HAS NO ORGANS! It's completely hollow! "How can she still be alive!?"

      4- Hospitality and Time Warps
I am not myself; I am a guy who is aspiring to be a magician. Something terrible happens, and I end up staying with a kind old woman and her husband until I can fix what ever went wrong.

I think I just end up making it worse. I get stuck in some kind of time warp, and now I am apparently a famous hero. People who were supposed to be my companions now have no clue who I am, and they seem to worship me from a distance. A man named Fable, who I had gone to magic school with and who had beaten me numerous times is now a member of some sort of gang. He tells me that he's always admired my strength and wishes that he could become like me.
    3. The dream of the flooded valley and of the drowned boy

      by , 06-17-2010 at 10:03 PM (Folqueraine's Oniric List)
Date unsure, before or around 2002.

One of the longest and most detailed dreams I have ever had.

My name is Marion and I am antarcticologist. It's night-time and with my friends François and Elodie* aboard our ship, I am en route to the South Pole. We "park" near the ice cap, and François and I take to measure the thickness of the ice cap while Elodie, hands in her pockets, is observing us from far away. The ice cap is 3 metres (10 ft) thick. We then decide to go back to the closest harbour: Cape Town in South Africa (we can already see the lights from Antarctica). Once in Cape Town, we must navigate between the wharves to find a place to park our ship.
When it is done, I stroll a little in the docks. There are stacks of wooden boxes everywhere, on which you can climb like on a mountain. While I am having my little walk, I see a young man** hiding in one of the empty boxes, the side of which is missing. People are looking for him, calling him a thief. He hasn't seen me and, feeling some sort of sympathy towards him, I do not denounce him.
Later, my dog and my cat*** go to the hotel to prepare the rooms we had booked. (yes, they can talk). When my friends and I join them, the hotel manager gives us a tour of the hotel. It is built on the side of a valley, near what looks like a big lake, and it also is a camp park. But there is not pitch whose number is under 26, because all these pitches were flooded when a dam broke, and the valley has been flooded since then: there was no lake before. There is also a football field (soccer, for you Americans), which is half flooded too (it is not plane). We are told that 10 years ago, a child tragically drowned there.
Back inside the hotel. While walking in the corridor, I see a door which is ajar. Inside, the thief is negotiating with a babushka for an expensive object. When the deal is done, I see the old lady putting her money in her shoes' heels. It is a very well known technique among thieves (although I have no idea of how I know that). The thief sees me and kind of wink at me, and I wonder if he may have seen me the first time.
Then I go back to the football pitch and I have a flash-back of the little boy's death. There was a match between two children's teams on the pitch, although half of it was under water. In the "deep end", there was up to one metre of water (3ft). After the match, one of the boys, the goal, went looking for the ball, under water**** He knew the ball was on the other side of the fence, so he bent under water, slipped his hand between the (how do you call that ???) lozenges of the fence to pull the ball towards him, and his glove got stuck in the fence, and he drowned. When people realized he was missing, it was too late.
Back to present time. I am leaning on the concrete rail with Olivier Atton*****, thinking about this drama. Oliver is positive, it is a murder disguised in accident. How could the football be behind the fence? It was too high for the ball to get there.
Another flashback of my own childhood : I was on a train stopped in the middle of a flooded nowhere. There was water up until the wheels. It was raining. The train was empty, except for me.

*who do not really exist. Exceptionally in this dream, original characters have names.
**looking like Sidney Bristow's fair haired friend in Alias.
***original characters again. I don't have a dog, and none of my cats can speak anyway
**** Yes, I know. But in that world, footballs don't float. (I should have seen it as a dream sign, just like the talking dog and cat, or seeing Cape Town's lights from Antarctica, but I didn't even know about LD at the time)
***** the French name of Captain Tsubasa, a manga football player.
    4. June 16, 2010

      by , 06-16-2010 at 01:47 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
I don't remember waking up AT ALL last night.

      1- Sumo Wrestler
This dream takes place several years into the future. What ever endeavor my brother has set out to do didn't work, and he has returned in hopes of moving back in with my parents. They say that they were planning on someone else moving in, and he'd have to compete with the other guy to see who gets the extra room. "Fair enough, who is he?"

Suddenly this HUGE sumo wrestler comes into the room and sits down at the table. I burst into laughter.

      2- Elephants
I am trying to get up a hill for some sort of quest, but there are predators all around, waiting to eat me. The only way I can get to the top is by traveling underneath a herd of elephants. ((What is it with me and elephants lately??? At least these weren't trying to kill me.))

      3- Mortal Mist Dream Games
I make a post on MM, describing some dream games I came up with. I say that the games were inspired by The Cusp, because of a post he made about something similar.

      4- Serenity
Something vague about Serenity. We were talking about something, but I can't remember what.

The annoying thing is, I remember having that feeling of excited realization that comes with being lucid, but I can't remember having a lucid dream at all! Maybe something during the day will make me remember.
    5. 06/13/10 Raging Fire

by , 06-16-2010 at 03:49 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
Note: I have never actually been to Houston, but the pattern of my dream and what I saw fit pretty close to the paths I have marked on these Google Earth maps. It was a very vivid dream and I remembered it very clearly.

I was sitting on the couch watching some kind of documentary on television. I watched it for a few minutes and realized it was about pilots involved in stressful situations such as equipment failure, bad weather landings, etc. They showed an airliner flying toward Houston. The plane was flying over thick clouds. It was a very calm scene, nothing seemed to be wrong there. I got closer to the television and touched the screen. My hand moved through the screen and into the show… uh… well, this should have been good reason for a RC, but instead I thought this was just a new form of interactive television. I pushed my way into the television and the next thing I knew I was flying outside in the air, keeping up with the airliner with no difficulty, and approaching Houston.

The clouds below were what represented the dangerous situation for the pilot of the plane. The plane started to slowly descend through the clouds. I followed suit. I slowly descended into the clouds. This dream was so very vivid that I could feel the small beads of moisture that the cloud was made of. They were cool on my face and exposed arms. I was surrounded by fluffy whites and grays. I lost track of the plane in the clouds. As I descended down below the clouds I could feel larger drops of water. Now I was out of the clouds and into the rain. It was raining rather hard in Houston. The rain sprayed my face and arms, and it still felt good. I was thinking I had just come from a baking hot Arizona day into this pleasant rain storm, of course it felt good to me.

I was able to pick up following the plane again. It headed in towards the Houston International Airport… which I looked up and found it to be called the George Bush International Airport… The plane circled the airport a few times and then came in for a careful landing. I didn't see any sign of problems at all. I wondered why that should've been stressful… but then again, I hadn't been on the plane. They might have had equipment failure along with the storm. After the plane came to a complete stop at one of the gates, I got bored of watching the planes and flew off in what I felt was north or north west. I flew in and around some small buildings, not sure what they were. I was just flying in the rain and having fun. The rain was beginning to slow down a bit now. My flight path carried me over an intersection where there was a rail road crossing.

As I flew down over the intersection I saw a car in the middle of the tracks. Both of the gates were down, and the car wasn't moving. There was a train approaching in the distance. Now if that wasn't just a Murphey's Law moment… I landed near the car and looked over. There was a woman in the car trying in vain to start it. Ok… a cliché moment of a car getting stuck on railroad tracks with a train coming… and now the driver was really going to be too retarded to get out and just abandon the car to save her own life? She finally got out of the car as the train approached. I thought she had finally gotten a brain, but she instead went to the back seat and started struggling with something. What was going on? I went over to her and told her she had better get out of the way… a train was coming… She said she knew, but her baby was stuck in the car. Wtf? I looked in the car. There was a kid in a car seat. The kid was securely strapped into the car seat. The mother was struggling with the belts holding the car seat into the car and the belts holding the child in the seat. None of them wanted to come free. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my knife, popped it out, and cut several of the belts quickly… and then the mom took the child out. We both got out of the path of the train just before it plowed into the car with a loud CRASH! The car was dragged a short distance down the tracks and then tossed aside, a total wreck.

The woman didn't seem to be able to stop thanking me over and over again. She wanted to know who I was because she said everyone would know me as a hero… but I don't want to be known by anyone… so I took to flight and left her standing there in the rain with her kid. I flew north, following some kind of a highway, the rain slowed to a stop.

The air was still cool and crisp. I flew a good distance. I flew until I saw smoke that was not too far off. I headed in that direction, which involved turning to my left for a while. I flew over a lake, and then there was an area of forest. In the area of forest there was a fire raging. I wondered how the fire had gotten started. A bolt of lightning? I hadn't seen any lightning… a careless camp fire or a carelessly disposed of cigarette butt? Maybe, but with it being so wet I didn't see how the fire could have gotten started. Arson? Maybe, but why? I figured it didn't matter how the fire had gotten started… I was going to check it out and figure out how to help stop it.

I flew down to an area not far from the fire. There were animals fleeing the site of the fire. I was hovering over them as they headed away from the fire as quickly as they could go. I could also see the fire approaching. I saw some animals had gotten trapped by the fire… I didn't want them to get burned. I flew in and grabbed a few small animals and got them to safety… but there were animals too big for me to lift. Deer… there were several deer… I flew back and lifted a fawn. It was surprisingly easy to lift. I took the baby deer to safety. I lifted mom… also surprisingly easy… and dad… a sizable buck… also easy to carry… I moved some more animals out, snakes, squirrels, deer… some animals I don't remember what they were, a few of which were rather ugly… but this wasn't helpful… the fire would still catch up soon… getting rid of the fire was the main goal.

I wondered how that could be done. I landed near the lake. I could still see the fire from there. If only I could move water as easily as I moved the animals… I tried to lift up a section of water… and it worked. The water lifted in a small sphere. I did only a brief double take (and no RC) before gathering a much larger sphere of water and carrying it to the site of the fire. I dropped the huge sphere of water over the fire. The sphere immediately broke apart and doused the fire in a huge puff of steam. It never occurred to me that I was dreaming… I thought this was easily explained by the fact I had finally developed my telekinetic powers. That was enabling me to fly, enabled me to lift heavy animals, and transport water. I was flying away from the site of the fire when I woke.

    6. I Need to get Curtains

      by , 06-14-2010 at 07:38 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
During most of the night, I had terrible recall. Only 2 dreams remembered by 6:30. I can very rarely get back to sleep once light starts showing through my window, even IF I put my sleep mask on, but this time I was lucky.

      1- Midnight Tragedy
A wolf... wandering through the forest. "Pain is pain, but one step out of Hell is alleviating. The wolf's war had never been closer." He grants a big dog sentience to ask it a question, just after the poor thing gets chopped in half. It is still alive, writhing in a pool of it's own blood. But the wolf doesn't care about the other animal's pain. He just wants answers.

2- Wanderlust and Surprisingly Good Excuses
Chris and I are walking down a path through the forest. I stumble upon the biggest deer antler I have ever seen: it's about the size of my own body, if not bigger. I want to take it with me, but Chris refuses to help. I end up dragging it behind me by myself.

Later, I am no longer myself. I am a Princess, walking through a beautiful meadow with my sister, my guards, and one of our suitors. (Who is a Prince from a faraway land.) We reach the end of the meadow... the edge of the woods. My sister sends all the guards and the Prince away. One of the guards doesn't want to leave us, but the Prince says that they all must obey any command we give.

"We have to hurry, or Mother will find out that we're here by ourselves." As soon as I utter the words, my phone rings. It's our mother. She begins telling me something about Chris coming to the place she works to teach everyone martial arts."

"That's great," I say, not really paying attention. "I have to go now. Love you, bye!"

Time passes. I am riding in a limo with my sister when we get attacked by vampires. Even worse, our mom has somehow found out about us being off in the woods! I managed to get our vampire attack on video, and I use this as an excuse for why we were in the woods by ourselves.

      3- Mirrors Hate Me (WILD)
((As I enter SP, it feels as though I'm being drug across carpet. "Oh no, it's the carpet monster!" I think to myself jokingly, waiting for it to stop. Finally the sliding ends, and I feel a shift.)) Okay, I'm in a dream. But I still can't see. Should I open my eyes, or try to see through them? I open them. I now see that I'm lying facedown on the floor, at my grandparent's house. Weird that I ended up here. I give the dream a moment to put itself together, as it looks... fleeting. Once the clarity increases, I stand up and begin to rub my hands together.

I just so happen to look in the mirror as I am doing this. My reflection is EVIL. She is clapping her hands, rather than rubbing them, and laughing like a demon. Her eyes are filled with darkness... "Holy crap, that's freaky," I think, though I am more amused than creeped out. Suddenly my reflection hits me with a jolt of dark energy and I collapse to the floor,
      waking up.

      4- Restless (DEILD)
((I DEILD back into the dream.)) "Okay, no mirrors this time." I pick myself up off the floor where I had fallen and make sure to keep my eyes averted from any reflective surface. There's really no reason for me to be in this house, anyway. I'm going out.

Outside, I ponder over what to do. I should go to my training grounds, but... Out loud, I say, "I want to find Man of Shred or Waking Nomad and see if I can learn anything about shared dreaming." I fly to the top of the house, intending to go to the moon. But...

      5- A Lousy Attempt (FA)
...I "wake up." Fine, I'll just DEILD again. I'm already halfway into sleep paralysis, anyway. The only problem is, every time the vibrations start getting intense, my hip feels as if it's dislocating. I can't stop myself: I grab it in pain and get out of SP. I tell myself it's only an illusion, that I am experiencing HI. I am talking to someone who is in the room with me, so I really don't see how I didn't think to RC.

      6- More Vampires
I am walking into a vampire restaurant with some people who I'm traveling with. A lady in the doorway takes a snap at me; I merely roll my eyes and keep walking. I watch people as I walk toward the counter. One of the waiters is asking a couple of kids who they are. "Vampires," they answer at the same time. I realize this must be a password for something. "Oh, you must be part of Sadalgo's lot."

I tune them out and order a doctor pepper. I'm hoping they don't add blood to it, like they are for everyone else. "How can she be in here, eating with us?" I hear a voice say. The whispering starts. I see a man glance over to me every so often as he has a hushed conversation on his cell phone. Trouble is coming.

"They're talking about ME," I whisper to my comrades.

      "I know."

Outside, I get attacked by that same vampire lady and her slightly chubby male friend. I chase her off and take the guy captive. I have to literally sit on him to keep him him from getting away. I can't let him up until we get the signal that our weapons are ready. At one point, a cute little puppy walks up and starts licking the vampire man in the face. I laugh, enjoying his discomfort.

As soon as we get the signal, more vampires arrive; the battle has begun. I have a weird hand gun that I try shooting, but it doesn't work worth a flip. Annoyed, I throw it to the ground. THIS is why I prefer swords! I run off to the forest, planning to cut off the vampires' reinforcements.
Becoming lucid, I pick up a long piece of tree bark and decide to turn it into the Deathcat. One of the vampires attacks me with a huge battle axe. I raise my sword to block, but... "What the heck? It's still a piece of bark!"

I dodge out of the way and draw the Deathcat from my sword belt. I can feel it in my hand, but it seems to be invisible. Oh well, it's still sharp. I parry the vampires next blow, then chop off his weapon arm. Unfortunately, he's wearing so much armor that I can't finish him off.

    7. In a Deep Sleep

      by , 06-12-2010 at 05:11 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
Seems like I've been sleeping a lot deeper lately. Usually I'm a light sleeper, and will awaken at the slightest thing. This is making it very difficult to WBTB properly. At least my recall was better last night!

      1- Dream Journaling (fragment)

I am writing down some keywords from a dream I just had. It seems like it was a very interesting dream...

      2- Waiting in the Rain
((Why is this underline green???)) I am in my classroom, when the bell rings. Yay, time to leave! I run down the hallway and am halfway to the door when I realize that I left all my stuff in the classroom. Oh no, I'm going to miss the bus... I run back and grab my stuff, and when I get outside I am relieved to see that I haven't been left.

Later, Steven and I are waiting outside an abandoned building for our dad. It is pouring down rain and extremely uncomfortable. I wish he'd hurry the hell up... FINALLY he arrives, after the rain has already stopped. We are walking down a path behind the building, and come out near a corn field where a motorcycle gang is having a meeting. I am feeling reckless and want to go join them, but my dad says we'd better steer clear. I end up walking through the corn field before returning to the path.

We are now in a car, driving through a really beautiful (and obviously rich) estate. There is so much to see! Gargoyles perch atop the buildings, and glittering fountains gurgle in the courtyards. I keep telling my dad to slow down, that I want to see everything. We pass by a sign that says Amethyst Labyrinth. I know that I must come back here to explore one day.

      3- Hospital
((Hm, this one's black like it's supposed to be.)) I am visiting someone in the hospital with a bunch of people I don't know. We get on the elevator, press the button, and... WHOOSH!!!! The thing flies to our floor at an such an incredible speed that I fall over. Holy cow... They must need these elevators to get emergency patients up to the operating room or something.

Later, I am going back down. I make it into the elevator, but the door shuts before the rest of my people can get on. Oh well, they'll have to catch the next one. A little boy is in there with me, and he looks scared to death. "Which floor?" I ask him.

      "Five and ten," he answers.

How can he be going to two different floors? I press both of the buttons anyway, as well as the ground floor. The thing immediately shoots way up to the tenth floor as I hold onto the railing for dear life. The little boy is screaming his head off. "I'm going to have to go through this two more times," I think with annoyance.

      4- Pit Possum Man
I am taking care of a small possum. Eventually it turns into a pit bull, but it still has the same tail. The thing is fairly aggressive, and the whole time I'm trying to teach it to be more pleasant. At the end, it becomes a man with very little clothing, resembling Tarzan. (And yet again, he still has that possum tail.)

My nose starts to run, because it is cold and rainy. I sniff rather loudly. "What's that?" the possum man asks me.

      "What's what?"

      He sniffs, imitating me.

"Oh. I had snot running out my nose."

((LOL The conversation got even worse after that, but I won't go there.))

      5- Texting (fragment)
I get a text message from a person who I'd rather not hear from. Oh no, not HER. I text back, "The only reason you're so upset is because you KNOW I'm right. You secretly want to change, but you don't know how."
    8. Black and white inu, sweet water, D/s, etc

      by , 06-12-2010 at 12:30 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
I found myself getting frustrated this morning when I couldn't remember some stuff. I need to calm down, because I definitely will improve. It's weird that I got like that...guess I'm just excited and impatient. I think I'm already improving surprisingly rapidly for the really bad sleeping schedule I've just started fixing.

Seems I have the most recall trouble the very first time I wake up. I look at the clock and see that I usually wake up every other REM cycle, and sometimes one after the other. It's cool!

I'm super excited about dreaming tonight~ I woke up 4 times the day before yesterday, and 3 times this morning. I hate when I wake up and feel like my bed is the most uncomfortable thing ever...

      Still, excited!

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      11.06.2010
      Two fragments (Non-lucid)

      Two fragments.

1: Yaoi, Japanese, two people wanted to do shared dreaming.

      2: Blind

      Black and White Inu (Non-lucid)

This is only the second dream ever that takes place in my current house.

We have two little curly-haired dogs. One is white, the other brown. At one point the brown one's face reminds me of a GSD because when I look at it, it's looks changed.

Mom gave it a weird two-word name - the first name is something to do with cars. I call it by the second word, which it responds to.
It reminds me of how Finland from Axis Powers Hetalia has a terrible naming sense and names their dog 'Bloody Hanatamago' (Bloody Flower Egg).

The cats were in mom's room, where she and I were talking. She asks if it was I who said something to someone else earlier (something about sexuality) and I replied with an affirmative. Then someone comes in wanting something.

      - At some point I called the brown dog's name. It came out from under the bed? and scared the cats, who ran for it.

      Gap.

I go into my (old) room. My music on the computer is stuck on a loop. I turn the monitor on, and the screen is messed up. I press the restart button just as the music starts again.

That's when I see the presents on the desks wrapped in red Christmas wrapping.
I feel like this scene happened twice. I've had that happen before, where a scene will replay, but it's usually different in some way. I go to find mom. Dad is in the kitchen, and I see another flat package in white wrapping with decorations on top of the trash can which is in front of the (current house) sink.

I tell mom that I almost didn't notice the presents.

      - Worried what song mom heard when she was in my room to put the presents on the desk.

      Sweet Water (Non-lucid)

*France and I were standing in a room full of people from Axis Powers Hetalia.

*I think it might have been a girl at first, maybe RJ? For that matter France may have been someone else.

There's a table beside us with makeup stuff on it. He dips a finger in lip gloss and holds it up and indicating that I do the same, smirking. Then we apply it to each others lips, laughing. There are two people with a video camera behind us to the left, and when they raise it towards us, France says, 'you're too late'.

Then somehow there are two Frances. The second one is offering us this container (looks like the pill box my mom has) that has clear liquid in the slots.

He asks if we want to try it. The first France tries it. Then I try to figure out how to drink it. If I raise it to my lips to swallow, it will spill. In the end I end up darting out my tongue and tasting it. It's sweet, like sugar water. The second France has a gleam in his eye and a part of me wonders if it's an aphrodisiac.

      - There were these booths. I think I imagined what each was for, including a a couple making out it one.

      Handicapped (Non-lucid)

In school(?) a band of Japanese (and a few American) kids (and midgets?) come out and sing a song in English and Japanese. There's a walkway and stage. The room is filled by students. I'm in a line to the left of the walkway.

We all clap a lot in response. A couple of people go up onto the stage and say thank you. Shika (from my old school and looking just as young) is one. As she talks, she also does sign language for those with handicaps.

Someone asks her if someone is considered handicapped (he had like three things wrong with him) - she says 'of course'.

I think this part of the same dream:

Apparently we were doing this project. I was the '_ River' (_ = a Japanese word I can't remember). A Japanese boy (who may have looked like my old classmate Cobb) turned and asked me in Japanese something about the River. I responded yes even though I didn't fully understand him.

      D/s (Non-lucid)

Caution: BDSM contents below. No sex.

Note: This could take place in the school setting dream. I do recall that we were facing something - that could have been the stage.

I was one of a group of people sitting in some chairs. I say to my neighbor that I'm not going to the *my last name* reunion - that most of the *last name*'s that I know are in the other state anyways. She agrees.

      Gap.

Somehow I end up in a tentative Dom/sub relationship with her
*. It just kind of developed into it.

      More gaps.

We're in a pretty bare room. The bed has light green-ish sheets. I ask her a question about what she expects from me. She says something in response, and how she's new at this so doesn't know what to do. I think to myself 'whatever turns you on' but don't say it aloud. She says something about how one thing did turn her on.

Before, I had been uncertain about what exactly she wanted from me, so I was clumsy in my responses. But now I knew what she wanted from me - she wanted me to take it, not be reactive. I'd been struggling between those two or being humiliated.

      - I'm wearing shoes similar to my high-top brown ones in RL. One is messed up, it makes my walking uneven. I have to stop to fix it in the room. Think this was before the questioning.

      ...

We're called out of the room by a man, perhaps a police officer for questioning. He says that someone called him in saying that they saw slavery going on.

      - After some talking... He says, "You didn't even tell your brother (or sister? sibling?)."

      - I thought it was no wonder, because Gilbert (from Axis Powers Hetalia) would never let her
      ** live it down.

*'Her' might have actually been my friend Pillywiggin. Yesterday I was thinking of how awesome it'd be to have a shared dream with her. Instead she (maybe) just appeared in this dream... Oops.

**Gilbert has a brother, Ludwig, who is teased for being into BDSM because Germany in general supposedly has a lot of BDSM porn. So I associate these characters with it, probably why Gil ended up in the dream. 'Her' might have became him, 'Ludwig'; I can't remember the pronoun used.

Note 2: First time my last name was said aloud in a dream. Not sure if my first has been... I don't remember if so.

      H2 dream (Non-lucid)

      Spoiler for NSFW:

      ゲーム (Non-lucid)

      MMORPG-like game.

      Therapist With Lost Memories (Non-lucid)

I'm not sure if I have the events in order, but.

I worked as some type of therapist. I went into work and saw my sister sleeping on a cot with a girl of about 4-6 years-old in her arms. Really cute - I think she had short, slightly wavy blonde hair.

I went into (assuming) my office. There were things on the floor. Christmas-y things, sheet music, comic poster(s).

I had lost my memories (?) and was looking through some papers, some crinkled. There were some envelopes?

I took the papers and sat beside the cot. Apparently I was loud ruffling through them, because I looked over and saw that my sister and the girl had moved over to the cot behind it (they were in the same position as before).

      Shark Attack Game (Non-lucid)

I (?) was inside of a game and going through his maze of dity walls and water. There were many sharks in the water that kept attacking me. I ran around trying to grab as many potions as items as I could as I ran towards my goal. I don't think I was running through the water as much as running on it...

Someone told me beforehand something about sharks.

1- Blood, Gore, and the Dinosaur
The dream begins at a church, where I am attending the funeral of someone I don't know with my family. One of the ladies is supposed to sing a solo in honor of the deceased, but the people in charge of the music accidentally play a really joyful, upbeat song which makes everybody laugh and ruins the melancholy mood.

I find a lot of money in the pew, which leads me to believe I may be dreaming. Although my nose-pinch reality check fails, I still have my suspicions...

Later, I go to the bathroom and start coughing up blood. It's not coming from my lungs, though; it's more like a reverse nose bleed. I'm beginning to fear that I'll drown, because there's just SO MUCH of it. (And let me tell you, it looked, felt, and tasted completely real.) Alarmed, I leave the bathroom to tell my parents... only to discover that I'm completely naked. "Okay, I HAVE to be dreaming," I say to myself and do another RC.
This time it works, and I am officially lucid.

I immediately remember that I MUST speak with Leroy, so I try to summon him. Instead, I am greeted by a Lady who is dressed in White. She tells me that she's wounded, and that I need to kill the creature that's chasing her while she heals herself. I try to explain that I don't have the time, that I'm looking for someone important. Apparently I don't have an option. The creature chooses that moment to burst into the room and start attacking us. Weaponless, I am barely able to defend myself as the Lady bolts from the room, telling me to let her know when it was dead.

This is not an easy beast to slay. Our battle carries over outside, where the Lady is watching. She is "encouraging" me to kill it, asserting that she hasn't much time to waste. Finally, I grow spikes from my shoes and stomp on the creature again and again, grinding my heal and mutilating it beyond repair. It's still making noises, though, which worries me.

"Is it really dead?" I ask the Lady anxiously.

"It doesn't matter, we have to keep going."

"You don't understand. I can't help you anymore, I have to look for Leroy."

"Leroy..." she murmurs vaguely, "I think I know him."

I ask if she can help me find him, but she insists that she has to overcome everything that's after her in order to become immortal. Just then, we encounter one of these "things" and are forced to fight again. This time she's a bit more help, although now I have no real memory of the incident.

Afterwards, I am now armed with a butcher knife (the square-ish kind) as we take shelter in a rotting tree house. The walls are set up to only be high enough to prevent you from falling out, so there's about four feet of space between the walls and the roof. I am about to ask her what we have to fight next, when I see a HUGE T-Rex charging straight towards us.

"You've got to be joking! How the hell do you expect me to fight a dinosaur!?" I obviously have no other choice, however. As the T-Rex (who, according to my "comrade," is named Leo) growls loudly and says something in a deep, angry voice about how us "cave people" took over the world. Resigning myself to the fact that I'd have to fight to live, I quickly rush the dino and slash at him with my knife. His tough hide prevents any damage from being done. Leo slashes my arm open, and I am forced to back up against the opposite wall.

I begin kicking the walls out to secure an escape route if the situation called for it, though I don't plan on retreating. I cannot describe how intense this situation is at the time; it lasts for quite a while, and I am cursing up a storm as I attempt to fight this gargantuan lizard. My companion temporarily dies at one point, leaving me to fend for myself. (Not that she was much help in the first place.)

Somewhere along the line, the dinosaur is replaced by a crazy lady who, of course, is bent on killing me. For the moment, however, she is forcing me to dance with her as she describes in vivid detail how she's going to kill me. (We're in a kitchen, though I don't remember how we got there.) As we dance close to the counter, I attempt to grab a knife behind her back... but miss and get a fork instead. On my second try, I succeed in acquiring the knife, but she notices and throws me backwards. Fed up, I charge toward her and stab her repeatedly (and somewhat psychotically) in the stomach until she dies.

Her blood is really warm, almost hot, and my hands are slick with it. The Lady in White comes back as I am attempting to clean up the crimson mess. "Good job," she tells me. After I get all the blood off my hands, I brandish my knife and manage to transform it into a razor sharp sword. I slash through the air a few times to test it, then turn to the Lady.

"Are we done yet?" I ask her.

"Not quite. First we have to make it through the Zombie Apocalypse."

"WHAT!? How long is THAT going to take?"

      "Only about three hours."

"Three hours! I just fought a dinosaur! Can't I rest first?" That question is answered by the sound of approaching zombies. Cursing, I quickly follow the Lady into a creepy looking abandoned building, but
the dream ends before I can fight anything else.

      5/11/10

      1- Gary (fragment)
Somehow a naked picture of Gary from Pokemon has found it's way onto my laptop, and no matter what I do I cannot get rid of it. I am commenting to someone that it's not even a good picture of him. ((Weird, considering that not only has it been ages since I've seen Pokemon, but I never liked Gary in the first place.))

2- The Evil Virus of Doom
I am in Chemistry class with a bunch of raucous, misbehaving students. Our teacher has left the room for some reason. Several of my classmates run out into the hallway, because it is rumored that one of the students in another classroom is suffering from a horrible skin condition (or some similar ailment) and they want to check it out.

When the teacher returns, all of the students have made it back except for one. The teacher yells at him furiously, nearly bringing him to tears.

Later, a deadly computer virus is going around, and I am desperately trying to keep my laptop away from all of the infected computers. The virus is after people as well. One of my friends lays down across a bed in some hotel, and a little mechanical voodoo doll walks out from the headboard and stabs her in the head with a needle, infecting her. Alarmed, I pick up my laptop and keep away from the walls as I hurriedly exit the room to get help.

      1- My Devilish Dream Guide
I have had more than my fair share, but I grab some more of the treats and sneak them off to my room for later. I notice that it is getting dark, so I flip on my light. There is a brief pause, then the light flickers on for a moment and promptly dies. "Well, it blew." I turn to go find a new bulb when I decide to RC. "It is a dream sign, after all." And it. . . Passes? Wow, I don't even remember going to sleep. I instantly remember my mission to find Anne, so I walk outside. It is early morning; the sun is not yet over the horizon, so i give it a bit of help. (Which works a little too well, the sun flies across to the opposite horizon instead.) Oops.

I begin to call out Anne's name, when I notice some children playing across the street. They give me the creeps, but I approach them anyway. (A horrible sense of dread lurks in the air, but I do my best to ignore it.) "Hey, do you know anyone named Anne?" I ask the nearest child, a boy of about 9 or 10.

      "No," he says.

The children are all really crazy, hiding from the "evil penguins that live in the forest." I hear something running through the woods, but I continue down the road, calling for Anne. "Anne, I know you can hear me! Anne!!!" The children are following, chattering quietly. A bunch of other people are following as well.

I turn around. "Okay, all dream characters leave! Now!!!" Several of them vanish, but the majority stay. I sigh in annoyance and keep walking.

We come to a place with a beautiful lake, sparkling in the sunlight. I put my hand in and it feels like real water. A forest is in front of us, and something is coming. My companions are afraid, and I am getting paranoid (something had apparently been stalking me through the woods the entire dream, starting with the "evil penguins") so we hurry back the way we came. The Strong Man is trying to hold onto me, but I break his grasp and take flight.

Some girl is now chasing me, jumping up and trying to pull me out of the air. She wants me to kill whatever is after us, but I have more important things to do. Somehow we are now in a building, and I have my back pressed to the ceiling to avoid her grasp. (Doorways are a problem, though.)

Eventually, I make it back to my house, a bit frustrated. I see a dog begin to approach me. "Stephanie?" I ask. It comes closer and I begin to pet it. "Speak," I say. The dog makes a few moaning noises. "Speak in ENGLISH. I don't understand dog."

The dog sighs and looks at me resentfully. "Very well." now I can see why it didn't want to talk. It's voice sounds like Alpha from Up.

It begins to recite a poem, which basically says that this dream is cursed because I know who my Dream Guide is and I refuse to accept it. That would explain the sense of dread the entire dream...

"You mean Leroy, don't you?" I ask, annoyed. The dog nods and walks off. After a moment, I sigh. "Wait! Leroy! Leroy!!! I'm sorry!!!"

Suddenly a man appears. He has long red horns coming out of his head and medium-length brown hair. He is dressed in the garments of a Dark King. "Leroy?" I ask, my eyes practically bugging out of my head. He was. . . hot. Incredibly hot.

      "Yep. Miss me?"

      "You look. . . different."

He explains the reason for the change, but I don't really remember it. (I was undoubtedly too busy staring at him.)

My worst fear has come true. And besides that, I think Leroy is the devil... I remember asking, the little mummy from so long ago, "How exactly did you become a charred corpse?" To which he replied, "My parents burned me." But regardless...

The dream begins with the three of us on the side of the road, where we hail a cab. the driver is a man in his middle ages, and his only other passenger is an elderly lady.

I get the lady's atention, and my mother chops her head off with a double bladed axe. I then stab the driver in the neck with a pocketknife again and again, until he dies.

Since the car is now out of control, the police stop us. I dart off into the forest at my mother's command, bloody knife still in hand. I am worried that my family has been captured, but I push all thoughts from my mind except for escaping from the police. I know that an Easter egg hunt is taking place in the forest somewhere nearby, and I think I can hide among the children. Instead, I run into a guy about my age who says he will help me.

We go to my house, where I must retrieve something. Demons have invaded the place, however, so I tell my friend to wait for me outside. After a horrible struggle with the demons, I retrieve what I was searching for and make it out alive. But only just. I am wounded, and my friend has to carry me through the city. My powers allow us to fly over buildings and cover huge distances.

In the lowlands, a swarm of yellow jackets get after us, but we make it to the ocean and hide under the water. It is here that we find my family. Only now, my mother wants to kill my friend. I cannot allow this to happen, because I have fallen in love with him. Thus, we run away yet again and go into hiding.

      1- House of Horror
My parents are fighting, and I suddenly become lucid. I fly over the trees and go to a large city, where I meet a little cat girl who is showing me around. She takes me to an abandoned building where we find some creepy looking anime dolls. Suddenly, something starts banging on one of the doors, and I know that whatever it is means harm. I try to keep it from coming in, but I am not strong enough and it bursts into the room. It is a demon clown with a butcher knife. It chases me through the house, and in each room a new horror appears, each one resembling a horror movie villan. I am not scared, but I am doing my best to get away. I burst through the window and run home.

Later, I learn that the little cat girl was a demon who had purposely put me in danger. I go back t that house in search of her, where I am yet again attacked by some sort of creepy creature. This time I stay to fight, and I kill it with a lawn chair, of all things.

      11/26/09

      1- Prince of Darkness
The village used to bea a peaceful, beautiful place, but then th ePrince of Darkness escaped fromt eh Land Under the Ground and took over. I am th eonly person remaining, forced to be a slave for the Dark Prince. He looks like an overgrown slug, and darkness is his aura.

I sneak out of the village and find a large bird that looks like a tree. It tells me that its name is Multrite, and that it is my only hope. But it is dying, and it leaves a baby bird hidden somewhere in the forest.

I go back to the village, and the Prince is waiting. He is furious that I left without permission, so he sends me out to the railway with the dogs as punishment. As we are walking, I ask Alpha (the doberman from UP) if he had ever heard of Multrite. He tells me that he hasn't.

We go to the tunnel of the railway to speak to a consort of the Prince. This is the only perso n whom the Prince seems to respect. While the dogs confer with him, I decide to talk to The Tiger (my only friend in the village) about Multrite. I am certain he will have information.

      2- Assassin's Lament
I am an assassin, and I have just killed a whole bunch of people. I walk to the edge of a cliff, wishing I could jump off rather than kill more people.

      3- Unholy Sanctity
My mom takes us to a Church service which is being led by my cousin. It is taking place in an old Western town. Everyone cracks an egg into a cauldron full of boiling water, then drop a voodoo doll inside. They start laughing like maniacs. I am completely taken aback by this display, and I wonder what has come over all of them.

It then occurs to me that something evil must be chasing me. I keep running, and nothing comes. I realize that this is simply because I don't know what's after me, and that I must be dreaming.

I keep running anyway, trying to decide what's chasing me so it will actually appear. I briefly consider wolves, and I see large wolves quickly gaining on me. I then change my mind and they disappear.

I am no longer on the main road, but on a dirt road that has been cleared through a forest. There are a lot of even smaller paths coming off of it, but I decide to keep going straight. I eventually come upon two construction workers who are talking to each other rather than working. "Get outta the way!" I yell, and jump over their heads onto one of the side paths.

The path eventually takes me to a farm, where two men are having a brutal fistfight. I break them up, and as a reward I am shown around the farm. The farmer shows me that he keeps goats and miniature unicorns. He informs me that some of them can talk. One of the unicorns approaches me and I start petting her. Then I suddenly think better of it. "It's okay if I pet you, right?" I ask.

      "Of course," she replies.

I start petting her again. "Wow, your fur is so soft!"

"That's because I take such good care of my mane."

((At this point I somehow poke myself in the eye IRL and wake up.))

      2- I'm Not a Guy
I am a guy rayher than myself, and I need to write down the dream I just had. I locate a talking pencil on my floor which is trying to hide from me. I then write my dream down.

The unicorn come into my room, but she turns into a human girl of about 16. She lays down on my bed beside me and we start to talk, and she precedes to fall in love with me. At first I think I return the feelings, but then I snap out of it and
realize that I'm not a guy. It is extremely difficult to convince her of this fact, however.

      3- Meeting with Madame Trelawny
I start the dream as myself, in a huge library. As I start to look around, I suddenly take on the role of Harry Potter. Madame Trelawny finds me and says she needs to see me in her office about something. I am a bit uncomfortable about this, because apparently she is sexually attracted to me even though I keep trying to allude to her that I'm not interested. ((What the heck!?))

I go into her office, and she points to a door and tells me to go in. "I'll be with you in a minute," she says sweetly, giving me the creeps, when I pass her to go into the room, she smacks me on the butt and runs off. Deeply irritated and EXTREMELY creeped out, I go into the room and plan to tell her to stay the heck away from me as soon as she comes back.

But instead, she gives me some really good information about Voldemort which makes me forget about telling her off.

((The weirdness factor of my dreams has definitely skyrocketed over the past few nights.))

I live in a community where doing magic is the norm. A lot of weird things are happening, though. For one, there are these giant black beetles everywhere, attacking random animals. One of them is attacking a baby crocodile, while another has attached itself to a turtle's foot. The turtle "runs" around frantically, trying to get it off.

Also, someone seems to be out to get me. My heart was stolen and locked away somewhere. After a bit of digging, I find a large, hollowed out book. My heart is there, beating as it normally would. But I read some of the writing on the pages that remain, and learn to my horror that if my heart were removed from this book, I would die.

I rebury it, but the patch of dirt doesn't blend in with the rest of the ground, and I don't want my brother digging it back up out of curiosity. Someone I am with (that looks a lot like Simon Baker) points his wand at the ground and yells, "Summersand!" Nothing happens. He sheepishly explains that it was a very complex spell, and that he isn't powerful enough to cast it.

"Maybe I could try?" I ask. He shrugs, so I point my wand at the spot where my heart is burried and say, "Summersand!" Some "sand" starts to form all over the ground, though it looks more like styrofoam. Some styrofoam palm trees also form. I have to continually guide the stuff to spread out with my mind, though, or else it willl start to wither. Finally I can't hold it anymore and it withers away. But the spot where I'd been digging did look like it blended in slightly better.

"Very impressive," the guy said, nodding and giving me a pat on the shoulder.

A bit later Shelby informs me that school is starting up, and that we need to head over there before we're late. What? But I don't even have my schedule yet. I haven't gotten any supplies...
Duh, I'm dreaming. ((Isn't it odd how all that abnormal stuff was happening, yet I become lucid from something much more mundane?))

I inform Shelby that there's no point in going to school, because it is all a dream. She looks doubtful but doesn't argue. I walk up through my back yard with her, and someone who resembles the lady from The Devil Wears Prada says a lot of hurtful things to Shelby, then stalks off to the front yard. I decide to have a little fun, so I sneak to the edge of the house and try to use a levatating spell to send a golf ball flying into her head. It doesn't work, and after a bit of trying I decide it's not going to.

Later I am telling my brother that it is a dream, and I think it would be cool if this were really him and not another DC so that we could say we had a shared dream.

I am about to take flight, but something happens and I wake up.

      2- Competitive
Someone challenges me and another person to see who can collect the most muskadines. The person I am competing against won't even let me pick any, so I travel to all different locations (I can see myself on a map!) to get them. End the end, though, I only get ten, so I lose miserably.
