    1. 03.03.13 - Lucid #5 - The Dream Army HQ

      Techniques to get Lucid: I’m not really sure about this. I tried to WILD, and when I entered the dream I was instantly lucid, so it didn’t feel like a DILD, but it didn’t quite feel like a WILD either
      Recall Techniques: DJ as soon as I woke up
      Time Fell Asleep: For this dream, about 5.40am


      Dream Title: Finding the Dream Army HQ
      Dream: (I didn’t have much control in parts of this, so Lucid will be in green, and controlled parts will be in bold as well.)

      I walk into a room which happens to be the living room of family guy (I had a goal to be in an episode of family guy and meet everyone, but I guess this doesn’t count because I didn’t stay there long and I didn’t actually mean to go there.), and some of the characters are sat on the sofa. They give me a weird look like they know I’m not supposed to be here. The whole area around me looks really weird because it’s in cartoon, but my attention is mainly draw to the TV for some reason. I don’t even know why. At this point, some men come in (I think from the TV?) and grab me. They drag me away somewhere which I have no clue where it is.

      The dream turns to a kind of 3rd person mode (It is also not cartoon anymore), but it’s similar to when you see a movie when they have dropped a camera on the ground, but it’s still filming. The camera has fallen next to some blunt wooden spikes which are part of some torture facilities. Along the bottom of the screen/my vision is a countdown of time that I had been here. The actual place that we are in seems to be like a mine or a wet cave system of some sort. Anyway, occasionally, I see myself being dragged along one of the tunnels. I am interrogated for 12 days, and then tortured for 13. As I am put back in my cell, I notice the angry guard dogs that are barking outside the door.

      Sometime later, the boss appears at my door and tells me he has some private business for me to take care of. The dogs are with him, and they try to bite my hand but it just feels like they are licking me instead. I decide to like the dogs. The man points to the spikes where the camera was earlier, and tells me he is going to lift them so I can go to the kitchen. I do a mini jump as I realize I have a chance to escape. The guy looks at me weirdly, but carries on to the kitchen where he tells me that my job is to feed the dogs. He hands me some food which looks more like bird food, and 2 dishes which are about 10cm wide. For some reason, the kitchen looks like my old next door neighbour’s house (The twins). I begin to think that because this is a lucid dream, I need to remember details (like the amount of time I was there for) so I can write them in my DJ. The boss stands here for a while watching me as I formulate a plan in my head. I know now that the spikes are gone, and the dogs like me, that it will be easy to escape. He eventually leaves and I run outside.

      However, as soon as I get there, it all becomes cartoon again. This really starts to annoy me, because after a while of trying, I can’t get it to go back normal. Straight ahead of me in the distance is the city that I was going to use to find that guy (Who may be my dream guide.) As I can’t seem to turn everything non-cartoon, I decide to teleport and find the Dream Army HQ. I turn around expecting there to be a forest there. Just my luck, it also happens to turn off the cartoon effect when I do. Walking forward, I see the beginning of the forest, but I large concrete building stands about 15m in. It looks quite suspicious and it is not camouflaged at all. However, I realize that it does have brilliant defenses such as thick walls and guards that are invisible. Stopping just in front of the door, I look up to see a lot of scribbled writing on the wall above it. Most of it is nonsense written backwards, and the only thing I have managed to remember that was one it was the only normal word. ‘Welcome.’ The door, which is more like a garage door (Like shutter that is really thick and a brick red colour), opens to reveal a soldier stood there. Behind him I can see what looks like a locker room. He quickly tells me the password and shuts the door. I realize that this is a memory test. The general now opens the door and asks me it.

      “9, octopus, adventure.” I reply, repeating exactly what the soldier had said.

      The door shuts again and then re-opens. Instead of a locker room being there like I expected, it is a full blown command center. I step in and the door closes behind me. The room is dark, with screens covering pretty much every wall that show maps, heat sensors and the like. Everyone is dressed in army camouflage gear, and most of them are walking around with papers in their hand, talking about enemy movement and things like that. I tell them that they have a pretty nice set up here, and that I really like it. The general thanks me, and I ask to speak to him in a more private area. We walk over to a table. I start whispering about how I have been sent here by the highest up command that there possibly is. He just stares at me cluelessly.

      I have to explain to him how his command center is good, but he doesn't actually have anyone who goes out into the field, which is what I am there for. He nods slowly, but I can tell he still needs more of an explanation. I begin to explain who has sent me, this high up commander person, and I start to think more and more that she is like a woman off Fallout New Vegas.


      The dream then fades away and I wake up.

      Length: (how long it felt like! Because that matters) Not including the days of torturing and stuff which was mostly a time skip, about 10 minutes.
      Emotions: I felt an extreme amount of pain when being tortured, amazed at the command centre, and kind of annoying with the General that was really dumb.

    2. It Has to Be the Colosseum!

      Another fun effort at Task of the Year. I just need to wind up in the right stadium next time. Again, with the gladius-waving DEILD tech that Xanous and I worked out. What a breakthrough that's been!

      Lucid #61: It Has to Be the Colosseum!

      I'm standing in front of a hotel, holding my 3-year-old son E. A van pulls up nearby and a gang of suspicious-looking men pours out. It looks to me like they're planning a robbery and I wonder what to do.

      E points at the men and bleats, "Want to know what they are doing!" The men turn toward us, eyes narrowed. I feel like they're thinking, "Witnesses." I'm scared. I feel like they'll see us as loose ends to tie off, and I hustle back into the hotel lobby with E in my arms.

      As I'm casting about for some place to hide,
      I realize that it's all a dream. I head toward a huge window at the back of the lobby, planning to phase out of the lobby and get into the air for a task. Everything has started to feel unstable and low-fidelity. The sunlight pouring in through the lobby window has started to look like one big blur. E no longer feels heavy and squirmy like a toddler. It feels more like I'm holding a backpack.

      I relax and prepare myself for DEILD, and the dream soon goes black. Like I've done so often recently, I imagine that I'm holding a gladius in my right hand and start madly swinging it around. It takes a few tries to convince myself, but the feeling soon takes hold.

      In a few more seconds, I hear a roaring crowd of spectators all around me. I know that I'm already out in the middle of the arena. Some people in the crowd seem to be counting -- don't know what to make of that.

      All at once, the whole scene falls into place visually. I'm in a completely cel-shaded, cartoony world, and standing in the middle of an enormous football stadium, right on the 50-yard line. An Asian lady in a business suit walks hurriedly toward me saying, "Great, you're here. Let's get going."

      My new handler looks in every way like a cartoon character, as does the crowd, the field, the stadium, and everyone in it. Some sort of production crew is wandering around on the field setting up camera and lighting equipment. This is so close to being what I need, but for Task of the Year, I need to be in the Colosseum.

      I plead with her that, "It has to be the Colosseum!" but she doesn't seem to hear me. I repeat myself, "I know you're trying, but this isn't quite right. It has to be the Colosseum! Nothing else will work!"

      Nobody hears me, though. Everyone seems to be too busy getting this cel-shaded sporting event ready and can't pay me any mind. I'm thinking about how I can change things in my favor, but I'm not far into this when
      I wake up.

      I'm walking down the street with a pistol and a shovel near D's house. D's sister comes out, and yells something, and throw's one at me. I blocked it...threw it back so it landed in a tree. She came up to the tree, and it dropped on her head right when she was under it. After she passed off, I left, but her brothers were chasing me. Once they realized who it was, they didn't do anything really.

      I was watching this power puff girl styled cartoon based in Neverland that had a clip of some girl breaking up with a guy. The guy said "if you're really happy about it, then you should be able to fly". She took off into the air like it wasn't nothing, and I laughed.

      LD that I'd rather forget.

    4. 9/22/2012 - Cartoon Reminiscent

      Waking Thoughts/Dream/Lucid

      I am finally getting my sleep schedule back to where I want it. Hopefully I can keep it this way. Had a fairly successful night of recall and focused on two mantras while falling asleep. Those are "I wake up after every dream." And "I remember my dreams." I have read that avoiding the word 'will' in mantras are more effective.

      I have recalled two dreams:
      The first one was a bit foggy. I was at work again helping get rid of a huge cardboard display that was left in the rain overnight. I remember it being quite a drudgery.
      The second dream I was in my house watching TV. For some reason a cartoon I watched as a child was on. It was an episode of Ed Edd n' Eddy that seemed to be mostly the main characters looking back on their past. I recall it was quite entertaining. Later the cartoon changed a bit and turned into a mixture of DBZ and other shows I used to watch.

    5. Doctor Who Dreams/Second LD

      I went to bed around midnight (kinda late for me) and woke up at some point during the night due to a thunderstorm. I fell back asleep not long after it passed and had the first dream I remember from last night. It was about the Doctor (the Eleventh Doctor, to be specific). I was watching in third-person, by the way. Anyway, he went into this weird, cartoon-like place. It became realistic fairly quickly, and then there was some epic battle I can barely recall between the Doctor and some guy I'm assuming was a bad guy.

      I woke up again at 6:30 and decided to go back to sleep. This time, I dreamed that I WAS the Doctor... and I was just outside at my church. I went around to the side of the building (which is actually my friend's backyard; she's the pastor's daughter and lives next door to the church. Their backyard essentially doubles as church property) to find the TARDIS and Amy Pond. I found the TARDIS right where I expected and entered it. Unlike on the show, it was NOT bigger on the inside. Anyway, for some reason, I got mad at Amy (who had apparently been allowed to fly the TARDIS) for leaving it out in the rain (I'm not sure why; besides, it was barely even raining).

      (It's not really surprising my mind would dream up something like that, seeing as I went to church yesterday and then watched Doctor Who later. Well, it is a bit odd that I was the Doctor, though... I'm almost ALWAYS myself in dreams.)

      I woke up to find it was only 6:45. I drifted off to sleep yet again and woke up without recalling any dreams... or so I thought. I noticed a big Pikachu bead sprite on my wall and couldn't remember it ever being there, so I looked at my hand to see if I was dreaming. I counted five fingers, concluded that I wasn't dreaming, and picked up my iPod to check the time. Well, whatever the time was, it wasn't 103:53. Now, I knew I that I WAS dreaming after all. After the two attempts it took to unlock my iPod (it glitched up the first time), I noticed that I had some apps I don't have in real life as well as a different background. The background was bright orange. Upon closer inspection, I realized it had a picture with rather a lot of text over the top (also in orange, but in a different shade). I tried to read what it said but discovered that it was all in gibberish.

      I put my iPod down and sat up, ready to try some dream control. Despite having full (or, at the very least, a lot of) control over myself, it didn't occur to me at the time that I had immediate LD goals (i.e., completing the TOTM and meeting my dream guide), so I just decided to do the first thing that came to mind. I closed my eyes. 'When I open my eyes, I will be in... Skyloft!' I thought to myself, naming the first fictional place that came to mind. I opened my eyes, a bit disappointed that I was still in my room.

      I remembered that some people unintentionally wake up when they close their eyes, so I checked my iPod again to make sure I was still dreaming. It still said the time was 103:53. I was still dreaming. Being one who likes to sleep in in the mornings, I laid back down and closed my eyes, finding myself back in reality shortly after.
    6. Daffy Duck, My Dream guide.

      Me and 4 others are chasing Daffy Duck, Hes the size of a G.I.JOE. As I am chasing him through my dreams more and more people eventually get drawn into his chase. Theres about 30 of us now, Daffy takes us to a Train Station were we search for him for what feels like an eternity. Me and all the other followers go insane just waiting in this abandoned building literally, we stand in circles contemplating to ourselves what we will do (talking to myself).... We see a train! Everyone runs out and jumps on, Daffy is at the front and we all try to get to him.. We are all fallin off the train left, right, but luckily I manage to hang on and almost get to the front but end up going through 1 of the carts that turns out to be a enormous house. I can recall a mansion, all the lights were out and the darkness looked ass if it was a never ending abyss swallowing all good. Me and the original 4 are in a room again but sorrounded by darkness, we chase Daffy all the way through the house and end up in the same room but with another door... The door, is overgrown with forestry and shrubbery. Bugs Bunny Stands in the doorway.. He asks for Daffy, "WE DONT HAVE HIM WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR HIM THIS ENTIRE DREAM!" I say. Just then daffy in the form of a toy waddles under my legs and right to Bugs, Bugs then pick him up with his foot lookin way to smooth and casual sets him off to the side into a bush, Daffy then disappears into the abyss.... Bugs then fades and the door closes. Me and my friends quite dissapointed turn and head through the house hoping to find my way out of this dream. I end up in a room thats having a party, except everyone wants to fight. I leave the room and picture myself in an OBE practice fighting. Haha I am pretty sure I was sleep talking/punching at this point. I go back in only to find out I am about to wake up....


      I believe on the other side of Bugs was my Dream Guide / inner subconscious / Daffy Duck. Hopefully I can meet him next dream.

      I want to turn this dream into a rap song, opinions?
    7. Cartoon and lucid flying

      In my dream, I was a cartoon character from the show king of the hill. I was Hank Hill. I was riding a motorcycle on more than just roads. There would be other DCs in my way, but at least when they heard and seen me coming they froze right where they were which made it easier for me to avoid hitting them. I could hear my - Hank's voice going waaaaa, as I rode percariously close to the DCs. We went up sidewalks, across fields, and even rode on the top of a wide fence. Finally the chain slipped off the motor and I had to stop the bike in this vacant room in some building. I got it fixed there, but I didn't ride it anymore. I went into 3rd person view, but it didn't last long as Hank became a DC instead of me. I watched as Hank barricaded himself in this room and didn't let anyone in or out. He was getting crazier by the minute. I finally got away from him and out of that room somehow.

      I had to use the restroom now, so I start looking for a bathroom. As I'm walking down a hallway inside this building, I spot two off to my right. The signs on both of them say men, but the one with the door was closed for cleaning or repair I think. I was about to walk into the other one but I notice women going into the mens restroom, as well as men. I stop a passing woman and ask her if this was supposed to be a woman's or men's restroom. I can't remember what she said exactly, but she seemed to suggest anyone could use the restroom if they needed to. I figured I would just pass, as now there was a line to wait to use the restroom. I went outside and kept walking down the street. I thought I seen some coins on the ground, but when I picked one up it turned out only to be a button.



      Off in the distance, I noticed some hazy gray mist. I rushed over there to see it. Once I got over there, it seemed like it was a part of my dream that hadn't formed yet. As I start recognizing that I am dreaming, I make some harvistor machines appear out of the fog. These machines are from an online game, Star Wars Galaxies. I pick up the smaller personal miner, and put it on top of the elite mineral harvistor. The gray mist is backing off now, letting dream scenery emerge. Somehow I find a plant, and will it to grow bigger. This plant keeps growing bigger and taller while turning into a "beanstalk" that branches out and reaches up into the clouds above. I climb the plant and find myself at cloud level looking down. That was cool. I can tell that my dream isn't very stable at this point, it turns into a room with boxes that are board games and I'm climbing on top of stacks of them. I jump off the top and start flying around, mostly hovering, the room. As I do this I'm saying, "more lucidity, more stability." I repeat this about 5 times while in flight. I'm trying to keep my dream going as long as possible. Now I can actually feel the waves of force emanating from my hands as I'm hovering above the ground. I even do a mid-air sommersault. I'm in the air trying to think of what to do next, nothing comes to mind but I do see a female DC on the ground near me. I land near her and make a move on her. At first she doesn't want to, but then I ask her, "why not?" as I'm trying to use my will to change her mind. It works and we start kissing each other. I'm in mid-kiss when my dream fades out and I wake up.

    8. Creating 2D DC''s

      Two nights in a row I have created 2 DC's.

      Type: Regular Dream.
      Lucidity: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 over most of dream
      Vividness: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

      The first night I had a long dream marathon starting with me working on a movie set and thinking I need to teleport (TP) to a different location. After a lot of TPing around I find myself in a empty Mall on a second floor and I see the cartoon character Veronica.
      I have no particular attraction to this cartoon except she is atractive, haven't seen it in the comics in years though. I still have the weird mindset, this is a dream and I'm OK with seeing a cartoon walking around like a true 3D person. I approach, and the flat cartoon takes on a 3D form but still a cartoon and completely accurate. She has no soul, I can't get any thoughts or feelings from her from her telepathically. She stops and I walk up behind her very curious about this "person." I feel her by running my hands down the from of her argyle feeling sweater and her skirt and am amazed how real she feels. I still can't hear any thoughts from her even being so close, she is an enigma. I, standing behind her think "hmmm" and rest my chin and head down on her head as she just stands there at attention, I feel her hair under my chin and it feels real too and still she looks 100% the cartoon.
      A lot of other dream stuff happened at a beach and a movie set again and more TPing with me TPing into a passenger side car set while someone else is driving!


      The next night a similar dream but I find myself laying on my back in an unfurnished apartment's bedroom. A wasp flies in the room and I chase it out with swats at it and my mind. I then remember having this dream before but that's all I remembered. Then there was something black flying around and it turned out to be fairy. It was 2 dimensional like a drawing in black.
      She landed near me like I was her protector and went from tense looking to relaxed but I couldn't hear any feelings from her, she was completely unreal (still 2D) and yet looking pretty animated and real-ish, I was bemused. Then I remembered the first time I had this dream, I didn't swat at the wasp and it attacked the fairy until she disappeared.

      Not sure why these characters are popping up, am I supposed to create something or someone?

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID



      I'm in the darkness, I don't know where I am honestly. I start to move a little bit, and I see some light somewhere.

      I realize that I'm obviously hiding from someone, be it guards or something. I'm following somebody, but I can't remember who. I'm on the left side of this dark room, and I look outside because a door is open and portrays that it's afternoon or so in this dream.

      It feels like we're somewhere tropical......

      And Hawaii seems fitting for that, right Kaomea? I'll even throw out the possibility that it was some kind of Calypso related environment.

      I try to follow the person, who is wearing a dark green shirt and jeans, but there's this random person using some kind of detection machine where if it feels the slightest human contact, it will inform the person holding it. Think of it as a metal detector that finds humans.

      I think it was a female that I was following

      I assume it's for that function because I'm trying to back away from it getting closer to me. I thought the person would give up, but since they're in the dark, they have to rely on this machinery.

      I slowly get up, trying to avoid the machine from touching me. When I see it stop, I relax a little bit and wait, and the person continues to go a little bit further, which forces me to stand up completely.

      I feel my left hand touching a bicycle, which then forces me to be even more silent until the person gives up. They finally do so, and they head out to the door in front of me.


      Then........



      The bicycle falls over to the left, and the pedals were moving a little bit.

      ....................................

      But the person looking for me and the other girl didn't hear this some weird reason, despite being at least 5-8 feet away from me. I wait for the person to finally get out, or at least be halfway out to where their peripheral vision wouldn't see me moving.

      Then a light to the left of me turns on.....and it's glowing a dim orange color...




      Are. You. Kidding. Me................................................ ......





      I decided to just remain still instead of making more noise to attract the person trying to find me. The guy looks pretty ugly to be honest with you, not to be narcissistic or anything.

      He finally passes to where his peripheral vision is going to help him realize that I was there the entire time, it's just that the light wasn't on for him to find me. I see no one outside, but I still stay inside the room for a while, doing some kind of abstract counting in my head to measure how far the guy went.

      But I had a weird feeling that he may have had one of those, "Wait a second....." moments.

      Either way, I wasn't going to risk him coming back to trace his steps over again. I quickly run towards the left wall near the exit to go outside. I have a gun in my hand, it's silver, and maybe it's Desert Eagle, since this thing was pretty huge for a handgun, but not too big.

      My back is facing against the wall, so now looking on my new left, I see a person on the other side. I quickly point my gun to him, he notices me, but remains pretty calm for some reason.

      "Shhhh....Is he coming back?"


      ........."Yeah"



      "How close is he.......?"

      I hear someone laughing outside, and I think I even hear a few gunshots?


      The dream bloody fades........

      My Dream Guide is Brian? (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID



      I'm calling bull on the guy who claims to be my dream guide, but I'll post it anyway.

      I'm not being stubborn, it's just my own mental conflict with the debate over one dream guide showing in many forms vs several individual dream guides.

      I believe this is a continuation of the other dream in its own and unique way, because I'm still hiding from someone or something....

      I decided that I should crouch down somewhere, a small crevice, anything that would keep me hidden.

      The dream shifts again to where I'm looking down somewhere. I see someone downstairs headed for the exit somewhere, and I have a feeling it's that same guy that tried to find me and the other girl who was wearing a dark green shirt and jeans...

      Then I look to the right of the exit, and I see a person with their back against the wall, who is fairly muscular. He's wearing a dark blue shirt with some black jeans or something.

      For some reason, I said,

      "Thanks for helping me...."

      He looks like he's surprised or something, probably didn't expect me to say something like that.

      "You're welcome." he says.

      Then I think for a moment,

      "What's your name?"


      .................."Brian."


      "Are you my dream guide?"

      .....................I can't remember what he said in response EXACTLY, but he said it in words like,

      "Yeah," "Bingo," "Finally....."

      I honestly stopped for a moment, but before I can say something else, my eyes go into shut down mode.

      You have to be kidding me right??

      And what's worse, I woke up with my eyes closed, giving me the opportunity to do a DEILD, but nope, I decided to open them up, even though I know I could've went into another dream and asked this guy more questions.

      I'm too lazy to sleep now, I can't spend the whole day bloody dreaming anyway.

      Naked Women (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID



      I'll make this dream simple.

      Two naked women, cartoon versions, one blonde, and the other a brunette or with Auburn dyed hair are running from guards in what seems to be an airport.

      Their asses were pretty big, but not fat big, like just, damn............... for crying out loud, how could they possibly run so fast?

      The blonde is talking to the other girl who is ahead of her, and the girl says in a loud whisper to the blonde as they're close to going down an escalator,

      "Come on, the guards are starting to get more suspicious!"

      So I guess they try to escape.

      I don't remember anything else though.

    10. My First Real Lucid!

      I've been reading this site for about two weeks and trying to lucid dream. A few days ago I succeeded in remembering to perform a reality check (pinched my nose and breathed), but awoke before I had a chance to try to stabilize. While technically lucid, it lasted only a second, so I'm not counting it.

      I just woke up from a somewhat longer lucid dream and jumped out of bed, eager to write it about it. This was using WBTB method early in the morning, and I hadn't even expected it to happen -- it was a pleasant surprise. I probably should have gotten up for the day when my alarm went off the first time but decided to add another hour and take another nap... glad I did! Within that hour I had a very cool LD.

      I remembered to RC this time as well, first by holding my nose, and then by putting my finger through the palm of my hand. I wasn't sure I was really dreaming most of the time and thought I was aware of my body back in my bed, though now I realize I was only imagining I was aware of it; I thought I was sleeping on the top bunk that I had back when I was young. At one point in the dream I took off, flying through the air, and could have sworn I was wrapping my real arms around my real bed to keep from flying off of it, except that I was actually sleeping on a futon, not a bunk bed as I had imagined. I also could have sworn I had real headphones on because I could clearly and loudly hear Radiohead coming out of them. I thought that was real too, but when I woke up later I realized I had only imagined it. Music is very clear and distinct to me close to dreaming. I don't need to listen at all, just imagine it, and it's perfect.

      I had trouble controlling the dream. I tried the spinning technique to stabilize it but had a hard time visualizing a scene around me. I think I couldn't decide what scene I wanted. When I eventually woke up it was because I was failing to stabilize. Inside the dream it was a bit cartoonish. I saw an elephant at one point chasing a mouse down a hole and then popping up a different hole, etc, something like it was from Alice in Wonderland or Dr Seuss. I wanted to imagine life-like people, but couldn't. I distinctly remember saying to myself, "well, I'm lucid dreaming, so what now?" which is when I decided to see if I could fly. Immediately I was soaring through the air, twisting all around, feeling the Gs, and then dove low over an ocean. The ocean sparkled with sunlight as if it were real. Soon I was in a never-ending wave -- I'm not a surfer, so this was a little strange for me. Soon it was back to the cartoon-landscape.

      I think there was more, but I've already forgotten. I haven't felt this invigorated in a long time. This makes me want to go right back to sleep, but I know I'm too excited and it won't work. Tonight I'll have another go.

      Cartoon Worm

      This is the second cartoon dream I've ever had. This makes it really strange to me.

      It was like I was watching a movie, but the events were real. There was a green caterpillar, but in my dream it was some type of worm. It was green with a dark green stripe and a light green stripe.

      The worm was on a stick under water. It swam from the right side of my field of view to the left, but then it saw a snake, so it swam back to the stick and tried to hide behind it, though the worm was much larger than the stick.

      The worm was swimming to a mate, but couldn't make it due to the snake. I watched the worm swim in an undulating motion the way you might expect a worm to wiggle.

      When the worm was hiding behind the stick, he started shaking with fear. I could almost see the lines that one would draw to indicate shaking with fear.

      The worm eventually swam to find it's mate again, but the dream ended.

      I seem to be having a lot of dreams recently having to do with rather school, video games or cartoons, maybe my dream signs?

      I don't truly remember how this dream even started out, though I remember it happened as I took a nap at about 4:11 pm. I remember the smallest bit about being in my friends grandma's pool, a place I had been to quite a lot as a child. In the pool, I saw that SpongeBob had been drowning (which seems just dumb) while the cast of Family Guy happened to be drowning with them. After looking back on this, that is strange because I have not watched those shows in about three years. They were eventually captured at some point in which then they were tied to wooden planks, and I recall something causing the planks to hurt them in a certain amount of time. Spongebob got free, somehow, and rescued the rest of the characters, except for Lois Griffin who was saved only after she had been slightly injured from the planks breaking on her leg. A credits screen soon came up, at the seemingly perfect time as I woke up only four hours later.
    13. Bookstore Heartbreak and The Postal Facility

      I'm in a used bookstore, and as I'm browsing the titles I come across a book that my dear friend and I bought together in waking reality. I am disturbed to realize that this is the self same book, still inscribed with our names inside the front cover. Upset, I continue looking around, getting more distraught to see that two or more of our old treasures are also here, things we bought together, like the Spirit Cards. It breaks my heart that she would give these things up, and my mind races, thinking maybe she doesn't want any reminds of me now that I am living so far away. I resolve to call her.

      I am back at my Grandparent's old house in North Vancouver, that my dear friend and I nicknamed "Spider Palace". I look out the front door to see a very very large post sorting facility kind of wall thing. Kind of like over sized post boxes. I see an old man who looks like he's had a rough life and realize that I don't live in this house anymore, he's the tenant now. He checks his post at the strange post wall.

      I notice now that in the drive way that he is walking up, I've placed some signs, one of which says "Open for Business". I go to get them wondering how I can change them to read "Closed for X-Mas holidays". The postman arrives and he's sorting the post. The over sized post boxes have huge pictures of cartoon characters on them, like Tweety Bird and Sylvester the Cat. I open one and put something specific into it for... my son?

      Dream skip and I am talking to my man. I plan to ride a horse north for some reason, and I am asking him if he thinks the horse will run too fast.

    15. 3rd lucid: acting as polar bear

      I am waiting for a water taxi in Bangkok. Once it arrives I sing a rap for the captain from the platform at the top of my voice. I repeat the word white (as in the skin color) many times so I guess the rap is about race. The captain and his assistant are African-Americans as well. Once I'm on the boat the assistant asks me if I was dissing him. I wasn't but still there was the word white in there so I am afraid to tell him. So I say instead that it was just a nonsensical word. Then he starts talking to me and singing with me. The rest of the passengers are dead silent and probably listening to us and I feel uncomfortable. Eventually he stops bothering me and goes to annoy someone else.

      The water taxi somewhere along the dream, turns into a long narrow bus. And when very few people remain on it, it turns into a car; a very economical transport. But this corner is not where I wanted to go. And the taxi just left. I feel distressful but see a familiar looking elderly couple on the other side of the road. I walk towards them and ask for help. They had dropped me off before in another dream location. The lady is holding a picture of something. She thanks me for entertaining her children but I say, "It wasn't me, well my body but different person. We have multiple consciousnesses." And here, I realize that I am a cute polar bear and the dream world has a cartoon texture.

      I hop in to the jeep and off we go. The man shows me a picture of a building with a weird design. It is made of two small buildings and a bridge in the middle. It is white and cartoon-like. Drawn with a blue felt pen. He asks, "Is this your dream sign?"By the way he looks like a character from Tin Tin or something.

      I say, "No, but I'll check!"

      So I do the nose pinching reality check and it fails!

      Then I say to him, "I am dreaming!"

      I point to a mountain in front of us and I say, "Let's go there."

      The car flies off the ground and I feel the acceleration and everything becomes a tiny bit clearer. The sun is behind the mountain. We are speeding upwards towards it.

      But then I start to lose it. The dream becomes weaker. I do stabilization by rubbing my hands but it doesn't work.
      My dream scene fades and I start to feel my real body.
