      Have to Study

I suddenly realize that I have only a few hours left to study for my Formal Languages final at 1:30. [Interestingly, that /is/ the actual time of the final, though at the time of dreaming I still had an entire day left to study. I woke from this dream feeling definitely anxious.]

      1st Dream
I start off with a false awakening. My brother (who I do not live with) is in my room shaking me. At first I can't understand what he is saying. My parents burst into the room and start yelling at him for not doing his homework. Typical. I start to go through my old routine and actually wake up.

      2nd Dream
I am in a garage and I become lucid. I decide I would really like to drive some sort of really fast car. I open the garage door and there is some crazy looking sports car sitting in the driveway. I get in and start to drive. When I get up a little bit of speed I think to myself, "there's no way you are gonna make that turn at this speed" and I didn't. Crash and burn. Damn self conscious

      3rd Dream
I am at my grandparents house in their front yard and I am already lucid when the dream begins. I decide to try some summoning but cant manage to reach into my own pockets and pull out a pistol as I had hoped. I don't know why I always try to summon weapons. I guess summoning a lollipop or something seems a little underwhelming. Anyway I can't do it, but there is a girl DC that has been standing in the yard with me the whole time. She smiles at me and hands me a pistol. I shoot at mailboxes and then a deer. The deer turns to look at me, has the head of a girl, hisses, and runs away down the street. Fuckin weird. Next we go inside and my grandparents have a litter of puppies. I start petting them and naming them. They felt so real with heartbeats and all. Very vivid lucid. I wake up.

      4th Dream
I am at SAMs club following a girl DC who is leading me through the aisles. She loses me and I decide to fly up to the ceiling to look for her. For some reason I can't do it and the dream starts to fade. I kneel down and touch the floor to try to maintain the dream. The floor changes into this fancy mosaic tile with amazing texture. I float off the floor and I am no longer in SAMs. I have no idea where I was anymore. The entire ground as far as the eye could see was covered in these multicolored mosaic tile pictures. I just floated along looking at them and it was incredible.

      5th Dream
      Short Lucid
I become lucid in a strange building, kinda like a furniture store or something. I decide to try to walk up walls again to see if I can get better at it. I walk up the wall easily this time, but my perception of gravity changes to where the wall has become the source of gravity and everything in the store, including people, crashes to the wall I am standing on, which becomes the new floor. I awake right after that. Kinda cool though.

I'm walking down the street with a pistol and a shovel near D's house. D's sister comes out, and yells something, and throw's one at me. I blocked it...threw it back so it landed in a tree. She came up to the tree, and it dropped on her head right when she was under it. After she passed off, I left, but her brothers were chasing me. Once they realized who it was, they didn't do anything really.

I was watching this power puff girl styled cartoon based in Neverland that had a clip of some girl breaking up with a guy. The guy said "if you're really happy about it, then you should be able to fly". She took off into the air like it wasn't nothing, and I laughed.

      LD that I'd rather forget.

      Under Siege (7:06)

I'm discussing something with Mom and one of my younger sisters when we suddenly see a crowd of torches through the front window. A crowd of people, carrying torches up our driveway. "Check it out," I tell my sister. "There's a mob outside."

I run upstairs. Dad passes me on the way and tells me to close all of the doors and windows and generally try to seal the house against invasion. So I run into the master bedroom and start closing everything. But there are a few balconies and other such things that have complicated methods of shutting, so I don't think I'm going to finish in time. I think I see a few shadowy figures already running around on the roof; they could be here in moments. I decide I'll try to gain myself some time by knocking a few of them back to ground level.

Somewhere I find a rope to swing on and a place to jump from, so that I can swing in and rabbit-kick people off of the roof. Turns out my aim is pretty good with the jumping, and they never see it coming, so I knock down a couple of them. I'm a bit apprehensive that I might kill them if they land on their necks, but at the same time, they are threatening my family's safety, and it would be a definite step forward in turning back the attack. But none of them actually die. There's one woman in particular who always seems to keep her balance and land on her feet, unscathed. It's frustrating, because I feel like I still haven't dented the onslaught.

I go back inside the house. When I walk into one room on an upper floor, I realize that there's someone else in here already, and he's not a friend. There's a pile of guns in the middle of the floor, and we both dive to grab a shotgun. Basically it comes down to who gets the first shot. But we both start pulling the trigger, and nothing happens.

      Empty. Both of them.

We drop the shotguns and grab small machine guns instead. He's got a head start on me, so I need to take cover while I reload. I knock over a table and try to keep it between us by carrying it around while he shoots at it from the other side. Obviously, though, I have only seconds--somehow he'll find a way around it. I finish reloading and stick my head above the table to shoot at him, but I think he might have got me first.

      Frags:
      • I look in the mirror and am startled to find that my hair's grown long enough for me to pull off a sort of effeminate look. I spend a minute looking at it from different angles.
    6. Waterfalls

      by , 10-15-2012 at 07:27 AM
In this dream, i shifted to two different areas. The first area, from what i remember, looked like a light-colored townhouse across from an overdrop bridge and a waterfall. The second area ocurred somewhere in a city of small town.

      1) Across a curvy road, smoothly paved road with yellow lines, i noticed a classmate of mine from a college math class. There is a flash of trees, a boarder that is on the edge of the road facing the water. There was a space where people could stop their vehicles to turn around or pull over. I also visited Ma, sister and Dad in the area. Seeing him was interesting, considering it being a year since he passed into the universe (or passed away). Seeing him felt so real, like i was hanging out with him. It felt comfortable.

Next thing i remember, i had a visit with my math classmate. We talked about sexual orientation and at the time, i did not remember why, though i got a calm feeling.

I remember my sister coming to visit me and bring me back to the room in the town house that we were staying at. Mom and Dad were in the room and he handed her a present. There was a feeling of happiness from her as she received it. This reminded me of a photo of her when she was a kid and caught a fish at a fish hatchery. I cannot recall what he gave her, though noticed that she was opening a rectangular-shaped box with pinkish reddish wrapping paper.

Somewhere, i think my sister was deeply enamored in electronics. I got this feeling to stay at the townhouse. The thought was at the time, that my mom and sister did not want to lose me. There was a sound and maybe a sight of Dad talking, though the words are blurry or the energy is moving so fast.

      Shifting to a different area...

      2) In the middle of being in the first area, somewhere in that time period, i shifted to the second area which felt like a quiet, yet a twist of reality in a neighborhood that looked like it was in the middle of a murder mystery.

The energy felt rapid with what looked like criminal activity. I did not realize how dangerous it was, until i felt more visible in situation. I felt like i wanted to leave right away. During the situation, I was holding a baby in my arms. I did not know where the baby came from. With the baby in my arms, i saw a few men across from the house i was in, seeing them go into a small house, taking a gun inside and shooting at something or someone. All the sudden, i heard a scream. At the time, i was afraid the guys were going to turn around and see someone a bit terrified.

After that, the area fades out in my memory.

      Más Despacio (7:06)

I'm sitting at a bar near an adult I've recently met when, on a whim, I say something to him in Spanish. Hardly missing a beat, the man responds in kind. It's clear he's more fluent than I am, and I'm worried this may have been a mistake. Nevertheless, I reply. He says something so fast that I actually have no idea what it was. After internally struggling with myself for a second, I reply, "Más despacio, por favor." He repeats himself a bit slower, but I still don't catch it. I say so, but I tell him not to worry about repeating it again, because maybe it was a mistake to try this. He insists, though, and this time I understand that he was saying that his wife knows about as much Spanish as I do.

      Animation Studio (7:06)

I'm with a group of students roughly my own age, some a bit younger. We're exploring some kind of museum, or maybe it's an animation studio. In some of the exhibits, there's a trailer playing for some new animated movie, and I make it a goal to see all of the trailers before leaving. One of the rooms has an unusual second floor, almost like a system of catwalks, except in the same architectural style as the room below, which involves a lot of white. On the lower floor, most of the group is reenacting a scene that involves moving in slow motion. I'm participating, but I still wander up a staircase to the second floor. I find a section of floor that's transparent glass--there aren't even any reflections on it, so it looks like it's not there--and it turns out that the rest of the group is right underneath me. I wonder if they notice me apparently walking around on air above them. Then I go back and find a staircase in the corner of a room--it's so narrow that you have to squeeze through feet-first like you're spelunking--and I return to the first floor. In slow motion, I walk back into the group of students. I pass a blond girl whose current pose shows a bit of crack above her pant line, but when I look a second time, there's not even any midriff showing.

Later, I walk into a room, looking for someone to talk to. Indeed, there's a girl in here whom I know from high school, but the first thing she does is shoot a Nerf gun at me. Then another guy jumps out from behind some chairs, and they start having a Nerf gun battle. So much for talking. There's a trailer playing in this room, and I think it's the only one I haven't seen yet. So that's good, at least.

    8. Home-made Play-spinning wheel in home-made play castle with SB curse

      by , 10-04-2012 at 05:16 AM
I have had a dream which I had the mansion I dream of having but I doubt I will have get it. It had a nursery with several play rooms and one of the play rooms were divided up into "store", "home", and "school" sections. I also have a movie theatre, bowling alley, exercise room and two pools-both above ground, one indoors, one outdoors and a lot more. Well in the dream I had this super big backyard which happen to include a forest. Well closer to home I made a toy play castle large enough for both kids and adults to enter and in the forest I also had a play cottage (but both were home-made play stuff). In the play castle there was a home-made spinning wheel in a tower right next to a bed which was large enough for both a child and an adult to sleep on.

In the dream there were two kids. But neither of them were mine (or I don't think they were). One was a boy, the other was a girl. I told them after I made the castle and cottage to go and play. The kids send a couple of minutes in the play castle and then went to the cottage. They seemed to have had so much fun my dream-self got worried they hadn't came back to forest. She went out into the forest but she didn't get too far before she got a gun behind her back. The invisible person pushed me to go out of the forest. Once we got out of the forest the gun forced me to go into the play-castle. Once there the gun forced me to go up the stairs to the spinning-wheel tower. I refused to touch the spinning wheel (even though I have no idea how a play spinning I personally made could be cursed) and that's when the gun pushed me hard and as I was trying to save myself falling my arm touched the spindle of the spindle wheel and I got SB syndrome. The kids arrive back at the castle and I was already on the bed. At first the kids thought I was just having a nap but when they had tried to do everything kids do to wake up parents and nothing worked. They looked at each other and I guess said (I don't see anything from the time my arm gets poke by the spindle..that's the last thing I saw) "Magic you think?" girl said. The boy said "Yeah. Our parents said X (me) is a light sleeper and since we tried everything" They tried to convince a dark-hair man (a boy I know who I will call P) to kiss me. But P said "What would my girlfriend think? and What about my kid?" The kids said "I don't think she would be a evil step-mother type to us. I mean look she made this play castle for us herself. What kind of evil-step mother do that?" P said "Good point"
    9. Three Cats And A Random Gun Adventure

      by , 09-30-2012 at 05:51 AM (Dimension X)
This is one of my weirdest dreams.... I was in my house and my dad was holding a box in front of me that had 3 cats in it.
All 3 of the cats looked like one of my cats. Like this. (Obviously not 100% accurate)

And no they weren't kittens, they were 3 cats sleeping in a box together, and they all looked exactly the same.

Next part of the dream, I was with a few friends in my school and we had guns and we were just running around looking for enemies or whatever. Then I remember like dropping my gun or something, then having to go back and get it. The gun looked mostly like this.

This was a pretty weird dream... I never actually got to shoot anything though... :/
I'm not even a violent person and have never gotten in trouble with the law or anything... Why do so many of my dreams involve me having a gun...??? Or that there's random police officers???

I rate this dream 3/5 awesome dances.

      Grappling Hook

I'm playing a James Bond video game on multiplayer. On my end it's two-person splitscreen, but there are four players in the game altogether. The person on the lower screen suddenly stops, and I freeze as well because I was screen-looking. But we're nowhere near each other, so I start moving again, hoping that he didn't notice. He's currently in a skirmish with the other two players.

I enter a warehouse. There's a metal cabinet in the back corner that looks worth investigating. I walk up to it, and eureka! Among other useful items, there are a couple of bazookas. I take them, then screen-look again. Accidentally, I swear! But this time the lower screen corresponds to one of the other two players, and both of them are running up behind me. I try to turn around and get them with the bazooka, but my character is moving really slowly. "What am I, encumbered, or something?!" I say in frustration. I've never heard of encumbrance in James Bond games. But that must be what it is--there was too much big stuff in that cabinet. I get off one rocket, and then the others start firing rockets as well. Damn. I get to the bottom of the metal ramp leading to the cabinet; the other two people are standing there, too. The range is really too close to be using rocket launchers, but I shoot again, anyway. And I die. Grr.

I respawn on a lower level of the map, near a raised highway. I decide to try out my grappling hook. There's a target for it (a small beige circle with a sort of raised knob in the middle) on each of the lampposts near the highway. Using the grapple here is a shortcut from the lower level to the upper level, so I see why it would be useful. I shoot the hook at the target and the wire pulls me up, but that just leaves me hanging a few yards off to the side of the highway, swinging slightly back and forth. I try to pump my legs to get a large enough swing that I can jump onto the highway, but I can't get it large enough to be comfortable with the leap. I let myself back down. I try again, this time standing farther back from the light. I'm not going to give myself any time to swing back and forth and lose momentum--the moment I get high enough, I'm going to release the hook. Since the wire will be pulling me forward, I should have enough sideways momentum to reach the highway. It works!

Now I just need to figure out how to go _down_ using the hook. I go out on the balcony of the third floor of a building. It's dark out. There's a security guard in the parking lot below, locking up for the night. The grapple hook target is right on the railing for the balcony, so I attach the hook. I expect some kind of automatic animation showing me sliding down the line, but nothing happens. Well, I guess it's more realistic this way. Manually, I toss down the line. Some how the line attaches to something at a diagonal slope, so when I send my gear down, it slides out into the night like it's on a zipline. The security guard sees the gear going past and starts beating it up with a baseball bat. Shit, that gear's expensive! Hurriedly, I pull the gear and the zipline back up to the balcony. It only takes a couple of tugs. The guard peers in my direction, then suddenly points at me and starts shouting--and running towards my building. I'm not sure how he plans to get up here, until suddenly he shoots his own grappling hook at a target on the edge of the sloping terra-cotta roof that leads straight to my balcony. Uh oh. My only chance is to run past him while he's busy getting up here. I jump over the railing and onto the roof. It's hard to keep my footing as I run to the roof's edge, and I end up slipping over the side and landing on the ground with a painful thud. Okay, realistically, there's no way for me to escape from this. So I wake up.

      Ziplines and Triangles (LUCID)

I'm hiding in the woods from the delegation of thirteen Aes Sedai who have come to take me away. Crouching beneath the bushes I listen to them walk nearer, I hope they will not find my hiding place. Wait, no, there are fifteen, not thirteen. That doesn't make sense; thirteen is the magic number. Oh, right--just five Aes Sedai, with ten wood nymphs to guide them through the trees. I look up from the book for a moment, thinking rather lecherously that at least I'll be able to imagine that the wood nymphs are topless green women, like in Shaiya.

My hiding place has become my bedroom on the ground floor of my family's house. I hear a knock on the door, and I know it's because the wizards have found me. They mean to take me away with them to train my magical powers in a distant school, but I don't want to go. They'll be polite about it, at least at first, so I open the door to find my youngest sister with one of her friends. They hand me a letter, which I'm sure comes from the people waiting outside. I take it, but then I flip off the girls (they don't react) and shut the door.

Later, I decide to go outside and look at the cars in which these people arrived. There's no one in sight as I walk down the driveway, but there are six or seven unfamiliar vehicles parked along the sides and along the road. Some look like they came from the early 20th century, and they're painted rather garishly with the names of the institutions to which they belong. I'm not sure how many of them belong to the wizards, and how many to other groups that happen to be in the same area.

When I return to the top of the driveway, I decide to drive in the Pathfinder. It's parked in such a way that it faces down the driveway, so I just hop in and drive it with my bare feet. I don't even have my driver license with me, which kind of bothers me, but this is rather fun. As I go down the driveway, I realize that it will be hard to turn around, so I brake and try to turn the car so that it goes between two of the big pines along our driveway. I slide sideways for a bit, but eventually I make it through and onto the lawn. I realize that I've never gone off-roading in the Pathfinder before, even though it's an SUV with a very off-road-y kind of name. It's fun, bumping along in the grass, but I have a bit of trouble getting the car back onto the driveway where it started. So I get out and walk the car, instead.

As I'm about to go back into the house, I see my mom in the garage. We talk about bikes for a moment. It looks like she's about to take something to the bottom of the driveway. It looks heavy. I ask if she wants help, but she declines. It must be about five in the morning; I wonder if she got any sleep at all. She works too hard. But without asking her a second time, I just go back into the house.

When I reach my bedroom on the top floor, suddenly I wonder if this was all a dream. I do a nose RC. It works! My bedroom is very dark. I decide to try verbal commands. "LIGHT!" I shout. "MORE LIGHT!" The lighting changes a bit, but it's not really any better. There are probably people sleeping nearby, but since it's a dream, that doesn't matter. "WAKE UP, EVERYBODY! THIS IS A LUCID DREAM!" My vision's gone wonky, like there's another image overlaying my bedroom. It looks like a curvy triangle, and I suspect it's the shape my covers are making in front of my face. Not good. Desperately, I try the light switch. Of course, it does nothing. I decide to abandon the bedroom and try my luck outside. I dash down the hall and into my parents' bedroom. As I run to their balcony, I shout some bullshit statistic, like, "Did you know that 80% of socks are hung on the sixth and seventh clotheslines?" Then I grab one of the socks that's hanging over a thick cable slanting down from the outside of the house, and I slide down the cable like it's a zipline, knocking the other pairs of socks willy-nilly to the ground.

I land in a large city plaza full of trees. Miraculously, the curvy triangle has vanished. It's a beautiful day, and there are a few people walking around. I decide to try speed-running down the sidewalk. I turn to my right, and I manage to get some speed, going perhaps twice as fast as I'd be able to sprint while awake. As I approach a heavyset guy my age going the other direction, I notice that he's looking straight at me. I slow down for a closer look. He's smiling, and he's got one hand held out like he's pointing a pistol at me. Well, that's weird, but maybe that's just how DCs say "hi" to people. I laugh and smile back, jokingly asking what he would have done if it turned out he actually shot me by accident. Then I realize that it wasn't a very funny joke. Oops. I elect just to walk away from that one.

The sidewalk ends at a highway where there are a lot of people standing around. Another guy my age tries to get me to play catch with a remote-control helicopter. Agreeably, I climb up onto a horizontal metal pole and get set to grab it. But at the last minute I chicken out. Those blades look dangerous. A few moments later, I [falsely] wake up.

I keep my eyes tightly shut. I might as well try to chain into another LD. I lie still, trying to picture the scene I just left. Then I wonder whether my theory was correct, the one about the blankets making that curvy triangle, and I decide it's worth it to open my eyes and check. Yep, there's that triangle. But wait, before I draw any conclusions, I should make sure I'm actually awake. I sit up and do a nose RC. Oh.

I decide to try using the makeshift zipline again, so I run through my parents' room and slide down. It's not as spontaneous, though, and everything outside seems to be darker and more indistinct. Moments later, I [falsely] wake up again. I lie underneath the covers with my eyes open, not sure what to do. Suddenly I notice the window. It's raining, and it looks like there's a sinister figure standing just outside, staring at me. I sit up in terror. Turns out it was just a tree and a strange trick of the light. I do an RC to find out that I'm STILL dreaming. I get out of bed and decide to try snapping flames again. Just one snap, and it doesn't work. I start trying to picture candle flames in my head, but suddenly I get very frustrated with the whole situation and I deliberately wake myself up.

[I forgot to check whether my covers in waking life were actually making a curvy triangle. I suspect they were not. Also, during the original LD in my bedroom, I said something clever involving the phrase "What the frack." Soon after, I tried to review the moment in my head so that I'd remember it when I woke up. But apparently it didn't work.]

      Alex Day's Penis
      Spoiler for Alex Day's Penis:
      Study Abroad

I'm visiting an old high school acquaintance while she's studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking country. Feeling brave, I decide to try talking to her in Spanish. She responds in kind, but she talks so fast that I can't really understand her. I do understand that she asks me how much Spanish I've done while in college. Slowly, I manage to formulate a response, telling her that I've studied a bit on my own but she's clearly better than I am, now.

      Shootout

[This isn't really a legitimate dream, because it happened this morning when I was half awake and feeling too comfortable to get out of bed. But I definitely wasn't fully awake, and I think it's interesting, anyway.]

Not wanting to get out of bed, I'm entertaining myself by imagining various soccer plays that involve me scoring a goal. The first one is too slow, because I shot with the side of my foot. Ruefully, I remind myself that in order to get any speed, you have to have your knee over the ball and kick with the laces. Then I have more success. I bet the coach is glad about putting me in as forward. Our offense was hurting, before. I'm still frustrated with some of my fellow forwards. Then, one time at the moment when I take the shot, my actual, waking-life right leg jerks as though it's doing the kicking. Surprised, I wake up fully.

Pepper Seed Jar and Biochemistry Adviser Office (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm inside an office, and there's a lady to my right sitting at a desk. It has a computer, a bunch of papers spread out, the usual thing. From the front left, I see there's another door opened to another room near the main office, probably 10-20 feet away from me. Inside of that same room, I saw my Biochemistry Adviser sitting down looking at the computer.

Before I describe her, the office itself was slightly different than the waking life counterpart. My adviser's room is designed to where you can't see her unless you actually go into the room, because when the door opens, only half of her room is visible when you come into the main office before looking inside. Here, I could possibly see everything there, if the door was completely opened in the dream.

My advisory wore a dark gray polyester female dress shirt (it was a thin material), and a light gray dress underneath that. The door was slightly opened, and I assumed that I talked to her previously in the dream, but I can't recall what we talked about. But by judging my feelings in the dream, it didn't seem anything too serious, and as I'm close to leaving this section of the Biochemistry Department, I just happened to see to my right, pepper seeds.

They were contained in a circular jar, like those types where the ends would be cut (not literally) with rectangular ends, so the jar wouldn't roll off the counter or shelf. There was a black text that showed the price to eat the pepper seeds I'm assuming, and it was for "15 cents" each, with the logo for cents.

I didn't know about this until later on, so I took one pepper, and quickly put it in my mouth and chewed on it.

      [My.....very....very...SPICY!!!

OH MY.......SPICY!!!!!!!! Its taste is hitting certain areas around my tongue.....

Ooooh, tasting the salt there......ooooh tasting the bitterness there......OH OH OHHHHH THAT WAS SPICY]

All that I said in brackets is how it felt in those few 2-3 seconds of chewing it (Note I wasn't really saying that, just added expression to how real the taste was).

I prepare myself to leave the office, but I immediately hear the lady that was to the right of me before I turn my back declare,

"15 Cents will be taken off.."

      I respond,

"Ooooh....Oh! Sorry, I'll go ahead and pay for that right now!" (the pepper seed).

I take my left hand to dig through my left pant pocket, and heard some change jingling around. I take as much as I can out of it, and I quickly counted 15 cents and gave it to the lady.

I think she said "Thank you," and as I'm turning my back again to leave the room, I turn around once more and declared,

"Oh! I gave 20 cents instead huh?"

She quickly looks at the change with her hand opened, but before she could say something, I professed,

      "Oh, don't worry about it..."

I left the area, and that's all that I remember.

Angelina Jolie Counterpart spams God Mode (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I looked up Pepper Dream meaning signs, and most of it foreshadows danger of some sort, be it through quarreling, financial loss, etc....but I feel that previous dream was just prelude to this one.....I can't really take dream meanings as set in stone notions of truth...but still....

      *sigh* Anyway

Ugh....not this kind of dream again.....

Invincible DC+ me being a crappy aim or them spamming God Mode = GETS ANNOYING.

I'm inside a gym, and the carpet is dark blue, there are mirrors attached to the walls on all sides, excluding the entrance and exits I'm assuming. There's a pretty large collection of treadmills around this area. I happen to be close to one, and I believe I'm just observing what's around me.

There's this man who looks like he's an inspector of some sort, like to see if the gym equipment are in good conditions for gym members. He's a really picky guy, he has that really really really analytical eye going about these treadmills and other gym equipment.

There was one treadmill where he put his finger around some buttons, and he didn't like it at all. He takes his index finger off the machine, quickly wipes it off his pants in disgust, and declares,

"I don't like this at all!!"

Not sure who he's talking to, but he was looking at someone. I also recall that same man wearing a dark colored dress shirt tucked into some long Khaki pants I believe.

Then the dream shifts a little bit to where I'm near a dark-skinned lady, and she wants me to look through something that resembles that scope thing you see in submarines to check what's out there. As soon as I put my eyes near the glass to see what's going on through the scope, it's like I'm being transported to a completely different dream environment.

It feels like a video game now, and I'm in it. Whatever area I'm confined in now, it's moving, and it's moving fairly quickly. I find out I'm inside a vehicle or some sort, maybe it's not, but it is moving. I still have the feelings that I'm looking through the same scope.

While I still am, I zoom in on a lady that's inside of the back of a truck that's also moving. Before I go into details on her, here's how the environment looks like. There's a huge brown boulder, or mini-cliff on the left side, and there's a huge body of water on the right, though me and the truck that this vehicle I'm in is following are way above the water level.

      (click for bigger picture)

I see some area that looks like a town is coming up to the right far away, and finally, I see the lady. The scope has Thermal vision, so I'm mostly seeing blue, green, yellow, red, and some orange colors, but it's mostly just cool colors I'm seeing....that's weird....barely any body heat on this woman?

I don't think she's human.....she's mostly showing up as colors of blue and green throughout her whole body, and maybe a little hint of yellow and red on her forehead, but it was a very thin vertical line.

She's wearing a pastel green sleeveless tank top, and probably some short khaki dress. She looks like she's looking at me directly, has her lips slightly opened, with her teeth together, and she has pretty big lips. She wears some sunglasses with a thin metal frame around the lens, and she seems to not mind me looking at her.

But something about her bothered me.....it seemed she was up to something.

You know like one of those shows where some random person sees someone, but they look completely normal to them, but they don't know they're probably kind of serial killer or bank robber? Yeah, it felt like that.....

Something made me try to aim a weapon at her, but by the time I do that, the back of the truck seems to be covering half of where she is probably behind right now. Maybe it could be that the right side of the truck cargo she's in is exposed rather than the back. Or it could just be that the thermal vision from the scope can see through thick metal, and I assumed that the backside of the truck cargo was exposed.....hmmmm.

The truck makes a sharp right turn in this enclosed road we're on, and the moment that happened, I decided to just shoot the damn thing.

      SHOOT IT SHOOT IT NOW!!!

Then all sorts of things happen, there's this rush, so many events happening....the truck speed up, along with the vehicle I'm in speeding up. Sometimes I wonder if I was just running as high speeds, because I don't recall seeing any kind of car roofs or windows at the time.

Anyway, the dream shifts, and now I'm in a room...I don't pay too much attention to it. All I know is that it consists of light colors of brown and white...like a Calypso type of setting...yeah, this whole dream has that vibe. I open a dark gray door, and I slowly peek out to my left....and I believe the Angeline Jolie counterpart is with some random old guy.

He's wearing a dark dress shirt that's unbuttoned, and probably a light gray shirt with some dark pants and shoes as well. The guy is fairly shorter than her, and she's pretty tall, probably 6'4", something like that. The mini hallway they're in, there's a window in front of them, and it's fairly bright, must still be sunny out there.

      (click for bigger picture)

The floor tiles are vanilla colored, and as soon as Angelina Jolie and the old man start, I quickly take aim at try to shoot her as much as I can. Crap...is my aim this HORRIBLE???? I panic, slam the door shut, and quickly looked at the gun I'm holding. It's like a default pistol with a gray coating around the gun head, and studded black material around the holding base.

It also had some weird attachment to the front of it that seems that it can be pressed for some kind of feature, though the split second thinking I'm running out of, I didn't have the time for that. I looked at the gun a bit more, and saw "Bronze Hatchet" labeled on it.

Ugh...another Runescape item reference? But the gun doesn't look anything like a hatchet!!! It's a gun....bleeeh!!

I need to find a place to duck for cover before she opens that door. I quickly find a table that has a decent covering spot, and I hide under there. The door opens, and I see just Angelina's legs walking, searching around the area in her first few seconds of entering it. Then I realized, my father is sitting down on the floor, bracing his back against the wall next to the opened door.

Shit....I get up quickly and aim my gun at her...and by this point, I just start going crazy, I can't recall perfectly on what happened. But based on me going nuts and worrying if she'll shoot my father or something, I assumed I just shot at her in fear, and it didn't seem to work at all. I noticed the gunshots sounded like the M1 Garand "ping" sound.

Nothing is working on her....there's not a dent on her....and I think she has her gun in her right hand aimed near my father's head, and she's looking at me with her glasses off I believe. It definitely looks like an Angelina Jolie counterpart, or a doppelganger.

I aim my gun at the old dirty, and probably smelly guy, but the gunshots aren't affecting him as well. I know I'm not a crappy aim in a close-ranged situation, so these two probably just have God Mode on full blast.

I can't think straight, I don't know what to do, I don't know what she's going to do with that gun aimed at my father. They're just STANDING there, doing nothing, waiting for me to do something, but I'm dissociated from myself that I eventually just try to end the dream
and woke up somehow out of fear of what would happen next.

I'll keep this dream short, because the second dream.....took a quite a while because I was distracted with some things, and I really should finish this lab report and pre-lab questions too before it gets too late at night.

Alright, I'm in a void....it's really.....dark...so empty...I don't see myself, maybe I'm just looking at this void in first person view, but I hear Shinobu Sensui's voice from Yu Yu Hakusho.

He talks about how in the darkness.....the blood was his new light.

      *sigh* Too much ambiguity...
    12. Apocalyptic Terror D: (Respawning?!)

      by , 09-13-2012 at 09:17 PM (Dimension X)
This one was pretty insane... I was in kind of a desert or plains type area outside, and was next to a school, which was apparently the one I go to. There were a lot of people outside with me too. And then something happened... In the distance, I could see the land start to kind of sink. Like from the middle and forming a huge circle of falling land. The circle was growing bigger. Way bigger. Everyone noticed it and tried to run away, but I guess they finally understood after a little bit that running was pointless. So everyone got on their knees and started praying. I joined in prayer after a few seconds, even though I'm kind of an Atheist... Ahem, then the land stopped sinking... But then resumed after a few seconds, and everyone started running again. Somehow, I had a gun. And I was basically just like "F*ck this..." and put it up to my head. Someone tried to convince me not to shoot myself, but I did anyway. I don't remember feeling the bullet in my head, but I do remember falling to the ground right after I heard a *Bang*. Everything went black for a fraction of a second. Next thing I know, I'm back in the school and it appears that I have actually gone back in time before the apocalypse happened! Which means I had a chance to warn everyone about the forthcoming disaster. So I basically just ran around the school screaming stuff like "We're all gonna die!" or "Everyone go! Get out!" ...Stuff like that. Naturally everyone assumed I was an idiot and they completely ignored me. Then I was at the front entrance of the school (still inside though), and I was talking to someone. I must have randomly died again or something because next, I was in my house talking to my mom and dad about the coming apocalypse. They didn't believe me but I knew it was coming. It would start in the same area. Then, random thunder and lightning started. My parents decided to stay home and they said I was crazy... So I actually left the "town" without them. I was driving away (even though I can't drive lol) in a dark red pickup. I remember a girl sitting in the passenger's seat too. (Probably my girlfriend ) This was actually a pretty epic dream.

I rate this dream 4/5 awesome dances.

      Gaming for Health

An elderly man is playing a video game, because it'll be good for his mental health. It's a story-based FPS: he has to break into a compound and prevent the men inside from setting off a bomb. I'm watching. I hope he does well.

Stuff happens. By the time he reaches the bomb, the timer is counting down from seven or eight seconds--far too little time for it to be defused, especially since there are still people running around trying to shoot him. Instead he dashes over to a small but deep pool (I think it's connected somehow to a nearby lake or river) and dives in. From several feet below the surface, he looks upward to see the air above the water turn red and orange, blossoming with fire. I think that was a good decision: if you can't stop the bomb, at least save yourself. But it was only half a success, so he has to come back tomorrow (in game time, not real time) to try and stop them again.

Somewhere along the line, I start playing instead of the man. As I approach the complex, I see that there's been a flood. Most of the parking lot is covered in water. But as I look more closely, I realize that the pool in front of me isn't very deep: there's still a road under it. So I splash across.

      Black Dragon

A girl my age is playing some kind of Minecraft/Skyrim/Portal hybrid. She's opened some portals to travel away from the base of operations to the island where the black dragon sleeps. At first, they're not sure if the beast is there or not, but gradually they realize that they can hear it breathing on the other side of a long, low ridge. They try to carry out their job quietly.

Suddenly the dragon wakes up! The girl dashes back through the portal, knowing that the dragon will be intent on killing her. She goes through a second portal, then pauses to catch her breath in a hillside cave miles away from where she started. She's hidden from view, so it's all but impossible that the dragon will find her here. And yet, with a roar, it soon thrusts its head through the entrance to the cave. It knew exactly where she was. They must be bonded somehow in a way she did not understand. Wasting no time, she runs farther back into the cave, considering taking out her pickaxe to dig even deeper. The dragon will soon reach her, so she decides to go into a dungeon--right into the middle of a battle. Other explorers like her are fighting against a band of skeletons. A couple of the skeletons come at her with swords, and she fights them off. It's dangerous in here, but less dangerous than trying to fight a dragon on your own.

      Infiltration with Hank

Hank Green and I run down the hallway towards the room that is our destination. My hands are clasped together with the index finger and thumb pointing out, pretending I'm holding a gun. We reach a T junction.

"I'll take right, you go left," says Hank. We split up.

I see a woman walking down the hallway towards me. I take cover and fire with my "hand-gun." I look away for a moment, and when I look back, she's not there. Just disappeared. I suppose that's what you'd expect an imaginary gun to do. I continue down the hallway until I reach a sort of open area. I can see over the top of some low walls into some rooms where lots of people are working on computers. They seem really focused. I would feel bad about running in there and disrupting them for the sake of this game I'm playing. I hesitate.

Then I see the people in the room on the left looking over towards the room on the right (my target room) and smiling delightedly. Hank must have reached this side of the room. And they aren't annoyed at all! They must have known about the game, and agreed to it because they thought it would be fun. I look over to see what's happening in the right room. There is colorful, fish-shaped confetti flying in the air. The employees are standing around a spot on the floor, jumping up and down, and clapping. Uh oh. I guess they brought Hank down. I should have been in there to help him.

Anxiously, I walk into the room. I ask a tall, dark-haired man what happened.

Later, I'm walking back out of the building, escorted by the building employees. A guy my own age, someone I know, is ranting about a woman who works in this building. She was somehow responsible for ruining our game, and she's also the head of the elementary math education program, even though she hates kids. One of the employees starts looking calculatingly at the ranting guy, and I realize that she must be the woman he's talking about. Uh oh.

      Stealing from Nynaeve

I "accidentally" run into Nynaeve and engage her in conversation. Meanwhile, I cleverly steal from her an important artifact. She'll be mad at me when she finds out, but hopefully I'll be ready for her.

I hide the artifact in my locker. I also have a blanket and a cloak of hers, made with cloth of the same pattern. She's managed to take back the cloak, but in order to hide the blanket, I have to rearrange a lot of things in my locker. For instance, I add an extra blanket to my bed and put something else on my desk. A friend comes up to ask me why I changed the color of my blanket.

      Missing a Soul

I'm late to orchestra, but before I can go, I need to save my game. But when I try, it tells me that I have no soul. I need to use a soul gem on myself. I try to do so, but when I resume the game, it loads a new chapter, sort of thing. There's a menu that explains the new scenario and a video in the corner where the bad guy is threatening to do something. I don't have time to listen to all of it, so I just click through the screen. I'll look back over it later. I also skip the first objective of the scenario, so I start in the middle of training something called an ADHD. I don't know what it is or why it's important, but apparently it's a creature used by the enemy that we can train to work for us. I'm able to rearrange the letters in "ADHD" in various ways before training it, and presumably that's important. But since I skipped everything, I have no idea how.

      Summer School

On Monday, we have an orientation. Then I go to bed to get rested for classes tomorrow.

For the first day of classes, we have to get in line for some kind of check-in. The line moves slowly, and by the time it's 8:25 I'm still a few places back from the front. My first class is at 8:30, so I think I need to go. I pick up my bags and leave the line, but one of the check-in ladies intercepts me.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did you have an early appointment today?" she asks.

I'm confused, because I don't think class counts as an "appointment," and doesn't every student in this room have class at 8:30? But we go through check-in anyway, and when we're finished, suddenly I remember that I was supposed to set back my watch by forty-five minutes. So I'm actually not late at all. No wonder no one else was worried.

I head to my morning class, thinking I'll be early. But when I get to the room, there are already a lot of people there. What? It's not even 9:00, and this class doesn't start until 10:00! But then I remember that this class is usually MWF, and we couldn't have class yesterday because of orientation. So the professor is squeezing in an extra session on Tuesday morning to make up for it. Hmph. Maybe he ought just have planned to have one less day's worth of material in the course.

The morning class involves a running game where there are a lot of items strewn around a medium-sized room with a grid-patterned floor. Sometimes new items appear in the middle of the grid squares. There are certain items we're looking for, worth more points than the others. We're competing to see who can collect the most points.

The first time I play the game, I think I did pretty well. But it turns out another guy actually won, because he grabbed the items worth the most points. I hadn't even known what those were, but now that I do know, I want to play again. The second time, I notice that there are people stuffed into lockers along one wall of the room, and some of them are worth points. The animation for the game is pretty good, and rather charming.

Now it's time for the afternoon class. I'm skeptical about this one, because the subject seems like total hocus-pocus. I'm not even sure what it is, actually. The professor tells us to take out our textbooks, and the whole class groans. We remember this book from yesterday. The title is completely nonsensical, and by now I'm pretty sure this class will be full of New-Agey crap that doesn't have any business being taught in a university. Good thing I'm sitting in the back.

During class, I notice that the girl sitting on my left is resting her head on my leg and dozing. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, because it's almost like cuddling, and I'm glad she feels that comfortable around me. I'm also amused to confirm that she's just as bored as I am. She notices I've noticed, and she smiles. But it doesn't last too long, because the professor has the class break into groups for discussion and disperse to different rooms.

After discussion, there are still maybe twenty minutes left of class, but I don't feel like going back to the lecture hall. Everyone else leaves the discussion room, but I just spend a long time re-packing my backpack. I'm enjoying being lethargic, but I also hope that the professor doesn't take attendance at the end of class, so I don't get caught.

Later, I'm startled by a student coming into the room. But he's just there to move the front table back to where it was before discussion started. How responsible of him. Anyway, I guess that means class is over. Time to leave.

      Seven Keys

A middle-aged man hands a young boy a pistol, warning him never, ever to speak a word of what has been done with that weapon. Presumably it was used to commit a murder of some kind.

In the very next scene, the boy brings the gun to another, older man, telling him mischievously that something terrible has been done with it. When the man asks what, the boy says, "We blue'd it," and takes out another of the same kind of pistol, except this one has been painted blue. Amusedly, the man pretends to be horrified by this action. The idea is that the color blue isn't very aggressive or serious or anything, so it has no business decorating something like a gun.

The boy pretends to aim the gun behind himself, but then coincidentally a spider the size of a small dog comes running into the hallway right where he's aiming. The man's face abruptly becomes very serious. Fighting these spiders is the main purpose of this community, and he says to the boy, "You may fire." But the boy, not having seen the spider, is just confused. Instead, the man lifts his own gun, takes careful aim, and shoots the spider.

Now, I'm in the final stages of a game involving these spiders. The building I'm in has seven levels, and in order to get a good score for the game, I have to collect one key from each level. The trick is that in order to reach the next level, you have to use the key from the previous level, and in the process of using it, you have to leave it behind. So there's got to be some kind of secret passage I can use to go backwards from the end and pick up all the keys. I'm running all over the building trying to find this passage, and I have to restart a few times from a save point near the top of it. There are about five or six other people helping me out with this.

This time, I try using a sort of wooden fire escape on the outside of the building. It's very reminiscent of a treehouse, spiraling around a tree and built entirely out of two-by-fours. There's one other person following me down. On one landing, there's a dead spider, lying in a pool of its own fluids. "Watch out!" I call over my shoulder. "Spider juice!" (It's very dangerous.)

Once on the ground level, I go inside to find a lot of people in a large room. They want something from me; they're expectant that I've gotten the keys; or something. In response, I start taking off my shirts. I'm wearing seven of them, one for each level in the building. But taking them off is actually very difficult. I can't quite seem to pull the first one over my head. A thirty-ish woman, someone I know, asks me what's wrong. I reply that I don't know. I tell her that apparently my arms just feel very tired and I can't muster the force necessary to take off a T-shirt.
