    1. Song Assignment, Esperanto Verbs

      by , 03-07-2011 at 06:53 PM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
Recall was really low the day before yesterday, and yesterday I only managed to write out one dream before bed. It was interesting but not solid enough for me to want to type up on the computer.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      04.07.2011

      Song Assignment (Non-lucid)

We have to chose a song to turn in to the teacher at (my old) school, *Miss L. I randomly choose what's on, 'Sonne' by Rammstein. I'm called over to her in school in the back of the classroom and asked what I wanted to convey. I admit I just chose what was on.

She goes to the front of the class and turns on a stereo - it's all Rammstein songs, including 'Pussy'. I see C nearby moving her lips along to the lyrics.

Miss L says some stuff about how others have chosen Rammstein and probably something about how it was a bad choice. I could just feel her looking down on me. When she starts to say 'if some of you are fans' while holding up freezy cups with Rammstein stuff on them and other merchandise, at least five people raise their hands a bit (inlcuding C and J) but Miss L isn't paying attention.

      - When I first got to school I realized that I'd forgotten my binder with pen and paper, and when I went to see if I had any in my locker, that I had no key to get into it. In class, J turns around and passes a stack of paper, the kind I used as a child to practice handwriting on. I take two and pass them back, saying "have some paper" or something like that. I somehow end up with a few utensils to write with too.

      - Someone starts to defend me around when Miss L asked why I chose the song. After, Miss L drops my CD with the song on it into a trashcan with a black trashbag.

      - I remember hearing her play the song throughout class because she paused it a few times as I was tuning in.

      - I remember wondering how everyone got their songs to school. Surely not everyone had CD's or iPod's or whatever. I wondered how I got my song there, briefly considering my iPod
(this might have been before Miss L threw my CD away).

      - Around when she was obviously looking down on my choice, I wondered what I should have brung. Tori Amos? (One of her songs played in my head then.) What would I say when she asked why? All I could think was because she was my favorite. Isn't it kind of too personal to even want to tell her anything (for everyone)?

      *Old gym teacher.

      Esperanto Verbs (Non-lucid)

Looking through a list (row) of verbs trying to find a specific one.

Note: I went to bed with this on my mind.

    2. My Eye

by , 11-11-2010 at 12:45 PM (My poisoned mind O_o)
After spending much time away from the internet I finally return
This is a creepy dream, and naturally at the time I didn't really have anything wrong with it, I thought it was kinda cool.

My right eye is in my mouth, I look for some water to put it in cause I don't want it to dry out. I'll get some help about what to do afterward but first that water.
I find what I'm looking for fill it at the tap and spit the eye into it. I notice the eyeball has 2 pupils/iris, curious. And some other bits but I don't really notice them. No idea what they were.
I'm talking to someone. I say "Hey" and I get the reply "なくなちゃった!" This means approximately "you lost it!" in this circumstance. It's Japanese making this the first time I can remember that I've dreamed anything in Japanese. I open that eyelid a bit in front of them and they complain, but I notice I can still see a bit with it, so I assume part of the retina is still present, which doesn't seem to fit what I saw when I spat it out. But I don't know enough about this kind of thing. I'm a bit upset that it's gone yet I don't really care.

Upon waking I was a tad disappointed in discovering the continued presence of my right eye, then decided it's probably for the best as I regained sense.
In retrospect if I had payed more attention to the oddity of the retina still being there then I ma have been able to go lucid, but otherwise very un-lucid.

    3. Some mandarin and village invasion.

      by
      kim
      , 09-04-2010 at 04:19 AM
I was sitting around a long rectangular table with heaps of people. One of the ends was just to the left of me and a blonde girl was sitting there. She was speaking some simple Mandarin but I couldn't understand very much of it. The way she was saying it to us it was like she was showing off. And when she said something everyone kinda looked at her while she said it, were like "wtf we can't understand this" and then continued back to their normal conversations.
I remember that she said something that I DID understand, and replied back to her and she didn't understand me lol.
Then she said some sentence and I recognised one of the words out of it (a word that was said several times in the sentence).
I had to ask someone what that word, "zhou", meant. I can't remember what the definition was, but I was like "oh yeah! as in Ao Zhou (which means Australia); why didn't I guess!?"
I can't remember much else from here.

      Creepy dream:
I was in some small, poor village in some European country. People were getting hungry and the only food we had were corn crops. The other type of crop we had, wheat, had run out because the farmers hadn't replanted it that year. The corn crops weren't going to be enough to survive.
Standing in the kitchen with a friend (I don't know who), we realised that people were invading our village.
My friend and I ducked down behind the kitchen bench. There were quite a few knives on the bench so I grabbed some for us for defence. I had to pick and choose between them to try and get the sharpest ones.
I noticed some guy enter the house behind the kitchen bench. After waiting for 10s or so, I decide to take attack first and lunge upwards towards his neck with my knife. It slashes his throat and puts him in enough pain for us to run away.
      {Memory loss here}
Next thing I remember, I was running away with the friend and someone was coming after us. I decided to go at them. We were battling with kitchen knives lol.
Next thing I remember I had somehow killed the guy, and I remember feeling so horrible about it. But I was telling myself that I had no other choice, that it was either my life or theirs. I remember feeling how I could die at any moment now because of the people raiding the village.
Too bad I didn't do a RC xP
    4. Ads promoting the planet, Sweden, make old women thirsty.

      by
      kim
      , 08-17-2010 at 09:36 AM
I was on another planet. I think it was Sweden (but in a planet, lol). The world was actually larger than Earth, but it seemed to be more curvy (what the-). There was some distance cliff that I could see on the horizon that looked about 5kms away but was actually 12km. I was pointing this out to Tobias and I was saying that we should travel there some time for fun. He agreed that we would do it soon.
I said something in Swedish and it was correct. There were some old women there that had just read the ads for promoting Sweden. This made the women thirsty, so upon entering my house I gave them some water. I spawned the water. My mum was there, telling me that I didn't need fancy cooled fresh filtered fridge water, but just tap water or whatever. They seemed grateful for it. (Hahahaha wtf!?)

    5. More international dreaming.

      by
      kim
      , 07-30-2010 at 01:25 PM
I had agreed to do the voice recording thing with Tobias. But the thing was, I wasn't here recording it over the net, I was there in Sweden xD He said "hey come over here, how about we record this one?". So I went and sat next to him and watched the video he had pointed out to me. I thought that it was a nice choice because it had both English and Swedish subtitles. Near the end the dialogue sounded like French or Italian, and so I got confused.

I walked away from that, and for some reason I was looking to find something to take a photograph of for him.
I was walking along, and I passed this woman. She was blond and looked like she was in her late 40s. She was one of those types that was wearing make up to try and look young, but I guess it somehow just enhanced her wrinkles. She was wearing medical nursing scrubs, but I think they were pink. So it looked like a pink tracksuit.
She told me in plain English "If you want to get a job here, you should become a foster carer. There are plenty of jobs for that here." I have no idea how true this is lol.
Firstly, even though she said foster carer, she meant a carer for old people, in nursing homes. Secondly, I thought to myself how I'd need to speak pretty good Swedish for that, because all the old people won't really be speaking much English (or so I assume).

I came across this grassy field and there was a tall building with a slogan on its side. I thought that the slogan was pretty cool, but then when I noticed that it was an advertisement for Target I decided against taking a photo of it. It was an Australian ad. Maybe I was back in Australia?

There was some part where I was in the city. The people were much unfriendlier there.

There was another part with my brother. I think we were in Taiwan; there was some Chinese guy.
Oh yeah, we boarded a train. Except this train was really weird, but really cool. It was like some sort of showground ride, but not intense at all. It would follow this weird track set, which would go on circles and twist and turn and stuff. It was awesome fun. There was a man that was pulling us along and twisting the route and stuff. He was doing it with a rope attached to a pulley that was attached to the train carriage. He was Chinese. I think I remember thinking to myself how dodgy this is.
For some reason there were eggs, and I was trying to show my brother the eggs. It is too blurry for me to remember xP
    6. Eating Indian curry in the bush.

      by
      kim
      , 07-25-2010 at 12:43 PM
I was in the Australian bush somewhere, there were wide flat rocks with trees and we were elvated a decent amount above ground level.
I was on holidays with two guys and two girls. We were going to leave the girl there to do something. I think we had bikes, as well.
Somehow I was making this Indian brown curry, and I was looking at what to do and I was fairly confused about some of the steps. I had to make this third sauce (I'd already made two) and one was to be made out of the "simple sauce". Either the recipe or my sister said that "It should be obvious which one is the simple sauce. It is this one because you can leave it aside to cook whilst you do other things." This recipe wasn't by my sister because she had adapted it from somewhere else. I think I was checking my facebook and I got it from her there, and then I was also posting about it there.
The people I was on holidays with this Indian guy I have on facebook kept on asking me questions about it, even though I was as clueless as them, because it wasn't my recipe and I was starting to get annoyed about this.

And then zaga and elwebbaro were also there on facebook. I couldn't find him before because this time he spelt his nick as elwebaro instead of elwebbaro. SClause was there on the streets, but Dom wasn't. I guess it was France and Sweden and Australia all at the same time.
Suddenly I was there and in a month they were going to have a performance so I went to the preview for it. The street looked like St. George's Terrace, and the performance place was on the left if you were looking in a westerly direction.
It was a solo act, with a guy with a guitar singing stuff in French. And then after the performance someone was talking about how to get into the venue; the security devices and stuff.
These security devices have some great features. It used to be that you just gave them your drivers license or whatever, but these days they had eye scanners and face scanners to see if it really is you in the driver's license photo. And there was one device they recently installed where men could see "IF THEY'RE WEARING A GREAT PAIR OF WHAT YOU WANT", and although at this point it was showing a picture of these saucy, knee-length boots, I'm pretty sure it was talking about breasts . And for the most recent installation which is the most controversial of them all, you can see if they have recently committed suicide or not! Lol o_O

    7. All my friends get eaten by sharks.

      by
      kim
      , 07-23-2010 at 04:33 AM
I was out in the ocean with a bunch of my friends. They were visiting me for the first time in Australia and they were all from a different country. I don't know who they were, only that they were my only friends
We were snorkelling for a while, and I think that we were also hunting fish or something. And then one of the guys saw a shark. I was like "Holy fucking shit, it's a shark, I'd better get out of there fast! C'mon guys you better follow!"
But they didn't seem to hear me :/
And I think because it was their first time over here, they didn't realise how deadly they can be. So they kept trying to hunt it down. And there wasn't just one shark, there were a few. I swam to the boat on the edge as quick as I could. The guy in the boat was as horrified as I was.

The next thing I remember, I was inside some shed, knowing that I was going to hear some horrific news about the shark and my friends. The man from the boat poked his head around the shed door. Everyone had died
I was so devastated and I think I was crying, but I can't really remember.
I felt so lonely because they were my only friends. I also remember going to their funeral.
      I should've done a reality check here.

Then there was a second part where we also went snorkelling. RH was there, and she was with KE.
I remember pretty clearly the snorkelling underwater part. I should've reality checked here too to see if I could breathe underwater. Actually, on second though maybe that's not such a good idea, because that wouldn't go down to well IRL.
There was some little kid with us and he was questioning me about the different parts of the snorkel. I told him that the mouthpiece of the snorkel mask was called "kappa" in Swedish, like the English word "coat", which I guess is wrong lol but it was correct in my dream
    8. Airship Attack

      by
      kim
      , 07-20-2010 at 04:18 AM
There was a second part where there were two airships. I was in one and the other one was our enemy. We had some magical powers like on Bleach or something similar. It was pretty epic xD We were shooting the other team with a giant, white bow that we controlled together, telekinetically. The arrows where large hollow white tubes with some sort of design. It somehow reminded me of Orihime Inoue off Bleach.
Somewhere in the ship were all these spells, perhaps in a book, and they were written in runes haha. They were making all these undead skeletons appear and that was pretty scary. They spawned from the back of both ships and were attacking everyone.
There was some way to stop them from doing it, if you were able to read the runes. I thought "oh maybe it won't be hard to learn if I know a bit of Swedish" hahaha.

Even though I was someone in one of the airships, I could somehow switch my view between the two ships and see that it was all just fancy CGI, and though to myself how true it was that anything can be done with computer animation these days, and thus the undead skeletons and stuff weren't really that cool anymore.

After this bit, there was a part with these aborigines and they were climbing up these stairs. I was climbing down because somehow I'd started up at the top. Unfortunately, they were behaving in a derelict manner and ripping all the stairs up and stuff like that.
    9. Really long, boring entry with cars.

      by
      kim
      , 07-07-2010 at 04:42 AM
There was some sort of starfish in my dream

I went to buy hooks to stick onto the wall to mount the clock in my room and in the shops there were these different hooks and they were all either too fancy for what I needed or of really low quality so I knew they wouldn't stick well enough to the wall and just fall down.
There was a woman who was watching me select and I think she was (breast?)feeding her child and she too had went to select some hooks like that. I think I talked to her for a while.

And then there was some car that drove around. It had my cousin EE in it. It also had a few other people, one was a tall, caucasian man in his late 20s and the car had something to do with language, especially tagalog.

It was going to go through some drive-through thingy and they thought that I needed to do something that I shouldn't, so said something like "Hey don't worry about it, it's all under control".

And that's all I remember, until someone rang and woke me up from my lovely sleep

      Going back to sleep now!

      Dream continued!

Tennis. Something to do with tennis. And my brother must've been there to.
I didn't write this part down, even though I should've, because I remembered it quite well, but now, as expected, I've forgotten, and I think, that this sentence has, too many commas.

Then I woke up and fell asleep again.

      This part I remember more.

I was in the car with DM, and we had rented it. For some reason we stopped at a roundabout, one with two lanes and we were in the right lane, doing a U-turn. The car was on but it had a steering lock. We were in a hurry to go somewhere, and for some reason there was a traffic light governing the movement of the roundabout. I was like, "Hey hop in let's go!", so we did go inside but the traffic light turned green as soon as we got in and so we only had time to switch the engine on and not take off the steering lock. Luckily the steering had some threshold tolerance of turning so we were able to make it around the roundabout with some effort. We shifted in and out of lanes a bit so DM was like "hey we better pull over now" because the other drivers were getting annoyed and I went to pull over and it was a really sandy bit with grass and stuff but it was over these bricks so I thought it was okay and that we wouldn't get bogged. We pulled over and unlocked the steering and it was fine. We weren't bogged. Then DM proceeded to tell me about how the bricks actually make it MORE dangerous, and at this point it was something to do with this creature going up a mountain and we lived there.

There were a few plastic bags on the steps of the hiking trail. They were filled with rubbish and stuff so I was stuffing them into each other to move them out of the way so that the track was less polluted. DM asked me something about what I'd do if I lived up here in the mountain. I can't remember what I said back.

There was another part (I think before the car part) where we were going to go get a guitar game (similar to guitar hero) and I was going to verse his sister, LM, in it. We got it, and I think we also got fish and chips, and then we went back to his house and his mum and dad were meant to be there but I went to hug her and she wasn't there or something. There was this other strange woman there and she was fat and had a purple shirt and jeans and was some kind of house keeper but suddenly mum was there and annoyed at her because she was looking at videos of people from the Philippines and I can't remember what but she was just being rude in some way.

Another part where DM was using these big words (two in one sentence) and I also think he used a word similar to exemplifying, but it wasn't this; it meant to clarify the meaning of what one is saying. Maybe that's what that means? I don't know But anyway, he was teasing me that my vocabulary sucks, which it kinda does

Alright, and then there was another bit.

In the car again, with some aborigines this time. One of their families mothers was white, and this one was my mother-in-law (wtf). My brother said something that offended her. She seemed really posh, but nice. There were three cars of aborigines driving on the highway,

Some people were considering moving to Harvey, and they thought that it was near the coast. I told them that it wasn't, and that it took at least 30 minutes to get there from my house, which was pretty much on the coast. They were talking to a priest I think, and saying that they were going to move there for 12 weeks.

There was some game with some guy and we were fighting and i was tasering him and it wasn't very nice. This part was particularly violent, and involved BF. He was fighting against me and the guns he had were colourful I think.

I went out in public after losing the fight, I passed by some chick I knew, although I cannot remember who it was. And then there was this megastore sale which had moved from Bunbury to Perth and there was an outside bit where they were selling gloves and I really wanted some gloves but there were no nice ones. That posh woman was there, too, and she was with someone else. I think it was here that they were talking about moving to Harvey. Man my dream recollection is so unorganised.
    10. Random stuff.

      , 07-06-2010 at 07:00 AM
I was in some place with lots of people, lining up to get something. It was a dictionary or dinner or something. Most people usually took ages but I was an exception. Everyone was wearing some weird tag and getting impatient.
I was also making videos. I think I was considering putting them on YouTube. I was thinking that I really needed a camcorder to do this though, especially as I wanted one of them to be from the perspective of a shoe.
I was talking to someone about something. Oh yes, I remember now. There was some book being read out loud or it was some radio station adnd there were these things of outer space and people talking and some were showcasing the Swedish language.
There was a woman that spoke it fairly well (she was a beginner) and I think I managed to understand her.
    11. Five dreams.

      by
      kim
      , 06-14-2010 at 10:50 AM
Wow I had a dream about the World Cup instead of watching it.
It was hilarious though, I tuned in at around the 60 minute mark and Australia was winning 2-0. I was pretty happy. And then Cahill got up there and scored another. And then almost scored another. But we won, lol.
Whatever hours later, I wake up and we've lost 4-0 to Germany xD

I also dreamed that I'd dreamed that my brother did something funny. Oh yes, something to do with categorising, he did quite terribly. There were two words with two parts. But he did not split the words correctly.
Well I told him about this as he'd gotten back from Outward Bound, surprisingly, as it finishes next Friday
We were at some shop getting something and there was a concert on and then Lisa Mitchell came on and played her songs (it is very surprising how clearly music plays in dreams). My brother went and looked and he said he'd never seen her before and I told him who it was and how some people don't really like her voice but I think it's nice. And we said how she looked a lot like x (don't remember who), but then we decided that she looked more like a girl from The Veronicas.

I was with mum and we went to some wedding. Maybe it was in Philippines. I was taking a couuple of photos from the back, and asked her if I could go and grab my camera from ther other place (can't remember where) and get right in/up there to take photos. She thought that this was a ridiculous idea, like why the hell would anyone do that? And the camera isn't even built for that (or something). I told her that is what I did at AK's wedding shoot. The idea was turned down a second time.
Funnily enough, it was just a compact digital camera. Also, I peeled some sticker off it and it said it ran on Windows 7 (or Vista!?) 64-bit. And either it also said on the camera, or someone was there that said it, that it couldn't be trusted because of it xD

TW was there chatting to me over msn and telling me about programming and stuff. There was a guy that e-mailed me asking for something, I cannot remember what, but TW looked him up and said "Well his background is in computing, so -somethingIcan'tremember-". It was as opposed to biology though, as if he'd learnt computing before biology.

There was some nursery rhyme thing for children in English about counting and there was a Swedish version too so I went and did that and I didn't even get all the numbers right

    12. Sniper attack.

      by
      kim
      , 05-09-2010 at 09:22 PM
      [...]

There was a large base and we were under attack. There was a team trying to sniper the culprit down, but they got shot. SM (lol again) was one of them. I grabbed the sniper rifle off her and managed to kill the culprit. It took a lot of shots. I had never shot a gun before and it got clogged, but I managed to do it and knew how to reload it from remembering how they did it in some computer game.
I felt like shit afterwards for killing the guy. Actually, I felt alright, but it was just a bit weird killing him. I remember thinking that he deserved to die anyway :/

Before that, at the base there was a large factory, like a processing factory and it'd exploded or something. Anyway, the parts of the factory were coloured different colours depending on their temperature and the severity of the explosion (or imminent explosion). BD showed me this, as we were walking out after doing something (I cannot remember what. We were collecting something I think).
As it turns out, this was just a distraction to what the culprit was really trying to do. He killed some Mexicans earlier. They were on boats. I was one of the janitors that had to go into the toilets and move some of the dead bodies. They were wrapped in paper towels, all of them. It was a bit freaky. But afterwards was okay. Someone helped me move one and I remember that the body was cold. I also remember that some of the paper towels were starting to unravel, and reveal the skin of the dead guy...

There was some office with square glass windows...hmm...I'm not too sure about the rest.

I dreamt that my dad replied to my e-mail about whether I should learn traditional or simplified Chinese. He said something about "Who said it was hard to go from simplified to traditional!?", because it shouldn't be. Typical of him.

In another part, someone (TW I think) made the 3D glasses for minecraft and they didn't work very well.

    13. Massacre in an Underground City

by , 10-20-2006 at 06:58 AM (Visions in the Dark)
I just woke up from this dream/nightmare.

I looked like a Chinese woman, I could speak a multitude of oriental languages and I was in this underground city type place. There were these squads of soldiers who were gathering people, at what seemed to be random at first, and killing them in cold blood. I did not get a look at any of the soldier's faces because I was to busy trying to run from them, so I had no idea who they were. There were panicked and frightened people everywhere, running for their lives and trying to find a place to hide.

I ran into what looked like a small warehouse and hid under some steel steps and behind some wooden crates. There were a small group of people of mixed ethnicities hiding in various parts of the room. We could hear screaming and gunshots from outside and we were all frozen in terror. Some time passed and the noise outside seemed to quiet down a little, but soon a large group of the soldiers burst into the warehouse and dragged everyone out of hiding. I saw then that the soliders were all oriental looking and spoke in Japanese. They seperated everyone who looked oriental and instantly shot everyone else who was not.

The soldiers then interrogated the remaining civilians to find out their background. When I was asked I was too scared to answer and so remained silent, even when some of the soldiers tried to beat an answer out of me. I finally shouted at them to go to hell in Japanese and they pushed me into one corner of the room while they continued to drill the remaining civilians. Eventually the soldiers pushed a woman who had Japanese citizenship in my direction, lined everyone one else against the wall and shot them. The soldiers then left.

The Japanese woman and I sat in a daze until it grew silent outside. We wandered outside together and found that the soldiers had killed everyone they met except for people who were Japanese. I was overcome with grief and guilt because I seemed to have survived the massacre (even though I was a Chinese person) because I just happened to speak the "correct" language. I wander around in a daze for a while, past the destruction and heaping pile of bodies and the dream ends about there.
