    1. Maps and the Lucid Dreaming Craze

      I was in the art room of my school. It was a large rectangular room with white brick walls, solid light gray flooring, and large windows paneling along one of the long walls. There were very long desks going from one long side of the room to the other. On one end of the room against the shorter wall, there were plastic tubs and black racks with students' artwork, scrap paper, scissors, and possibly anything else you could imagine. In real life, our art teacher isn't that organized, and this reflected somewhat in the dream.

      There were many students sitting in chairs at the desks; some I recognized and others I didn't. We were making feather cutouts out of paper at first. I was at a desk too; one of my friends was sitting across from me. I had to get some more tan paper though, because I had accidentally cut mine too much with a pair of scissors. I went to the back of the room where the artwork and scraps were, and I saw one of my friends cutting a certain size of paper with the paper cutter. I needed to use it, so I stood and waited for her to finish.

      She turned around and handed me one of two pieces she cut, smiling a bit but not saying anything. "Thanks," I told her and started to head back to my spot.

      I must have gone down the wrong row, because my friend was two desks away from me. She waved and mouthed something like "over here". I pointed underneath the desk and rolled my eyes, popping down underneath it, and then ground-hogging back up on the other side. I did this twice and I was back at my spot; half the class was laughing. When I was underneath the second desk, there was a sudden, random flash of the Game Boy Color logo.


      Once I got back to my desk, I began to hear people talking about lucid dreaming. They were discussing induction techniques as I colored in the edges of the sheet of paper with brown to make the edges of a map.

    2. Out of Character

      Fun night!

      1- Against All Odds
      Trapped on an island with some friends, I am one of those blond, cowardly girls that always seems to be the main character in a horror movie. The man who lives on the island believes it is necessary to sacrifice us all at the various shrines around the place, in order to appease the gods who cursed him. I fearfully attempt to sneak into the man's hideout, but he appears out of nowhere and begins chasing me. I let out a blood curdling scream and take off running. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking how pathetic this display of cowardice is. But I can't break character for some reason...

      Still running, the man appears in front of me. How the hell did he do that!? Apparently he's the more mystic type of bad guy, I think to my character, who ignores me and runs back toward the man's hideout.

      The chase continues in this manner for a while, when I notice the man looks oddly familiar. He's wearing a brown fedora, and he appears to have claws on one of his hands. "Freddy Krueger?" I ask, finally beginning to regain my true self. My question offends him, and he raises his right hand for me to see. The claws are nails, rather than knives. Drat...

      "One for each death!" he yells at me, and the chase continues. ((I understand this to mean that there is one nail for each person he killed.))

      Now, however, I'm running more out of necessity than fear. I'm going to kill this loon one way or another.


      Once outside, I become lucid and take flight. "Ha, let's see him try to get me now!" Unfortunately, the dream ends.

      2- Death Sighting
      My crazy neighbor comes over to visit. She seems freaked out about something, and it takes me a while to make any sense of what she's saying. Something about a prowler in our front yard. "Wait," I say. "Did this guy have claws on his right hand?"

      "It was Death!" she explodes. "I saw Death standing right next to your house! One of you is going to die soon!"

      I try to calm her down. Since she's the one who saw him, she's probably the one who's going to die... Of course, I don't tell her this.


      3- Book of Lilith
      A mythology professor gives me access to his personal library. I find a hidden room which contains some texts that appear to be really ancient. One of the books is titled "Dark Lilith." I am startled to see this; why is her name popping up so much lately? ((IRL, this is really happening. I read some stories about Lilith last week, and since then I am seeing references to her EVERYWHERE.)) I begin reading the book... but it seems to have nothing to do with Lilith at all. It seems more like a book of shadows.

      The professor suddenly walks in and is angry for no apparent reason. He kicks me out of his library and tells me that I'm not allowed to come back.
    3. Lucid Dream #1

      OK, I can't remember how I became lucid. But it could have been a WILD. I remember waking up somewhere around
      3:00 AM, took a piss, and lied there for only a few minutes. Very tired and not thinking very much. And fell asleep.

      Also note that I was barely lucid in this one, so some things I did I could have done a lot better.

      The first thing that I could remember was that I was facing a door and the first thing that was on my mind when I saw this was "hey let's summon a dream character" so I walked up to the door and I tried like three times, the first time I think I didn't even think of a reason why Toph would be there. I did it twice, then I realized that I wasn't thinking why she would be there. So I thought "Toph is on the other side of this door because she wants to know if I have some hot coco" and when I opened, she was there. It was amazing, instead of asking her to come in I followed her (that goes to show how lucid I am).

      When I followed her I saw a queen sized bed to my left and in
      front of it was a box of coco beans. And in front of the coco beans was a sleeping bag, the next time I saw Toph
      her appearance changed. She had an almost bald head with a pale white face, so I closed my eyes and said
      "when I open my eyes you will look more like Toph" or something like that, so I visualized what Toph would look
      like and it was a lot more easier to imagine her in the dream than it was in real life, and when I opened my eyes.
      She looked more like Toph, but not completely. Her hair changed and her face looked like hers, but she wasn't
      as cartoon looking like in the show, but I didn't care. I took the coco beans and ate one and said "when I eat this
      coco bean my dick will get larger" but it didn't do anything, I didn't even have an erection. But instead of trying
      again I saw my brother and I said "Cameron I can't believe I'm dreaming" with a smile on my face. He didn't
      respond and I went back to Toph. When I looked at her she was on the sleeping bag and some guy put his foot on
      her and made her shrink half of the size she was, instead of making her go back to normal size, I picked up a coco
      bean and said "when I eat this coco bean, I will become smaller" and I got smaller when I ate it. But not as small,
      so I got another coco bean and tried it again. This time I said "when I eat this coco bean I will become as small as
      Toph" and I did, so I went over there and I tried to take off her clothes. I was able to get her shirt off and she had
      no boobs or nipples, she was also really bony. But I didn't even care, but right after that the dream changed. I think I might have been lucid for a few seconds but not for very long. The dream was only about a minute long and
      when I woke up I sat there for a few minutes and I found out that I had a lucid dream, I will never forget this
      experience of being in my mind. Thank god for this site and everyone who puts tutorials on it, without them. I'd be
      going at a slower rate. The End

    4. Lucid

      1- Flying Practice
      I am lucid. The how and the why are right on the edge of my brain, but I can't remember them...

      I decide that I want to practice flying with different styles. I've never used the mind control style before, so I telekinetically lift myself off the ground and use only my mind to control the flight. I am actually rather surprised that this works. Next I try peter pan style, which is loads of fun! So much fun, in fact, that
      I lose focus and forget I'm dreaming.

      I find myself in a parallel universe that, on the surface, appears to be identical to our own. However, my family all have distinctive differences in their personality. There's a difference in mine, too. I am chaotic and crazy (or rather, a different kind of chaotic and crazy than I usually am). Almost childlike, but with no innocence.

    5. Driving Around

      I was in my house (well, the house was mine in the dream, but not the same as mine in real life). There was one lowered section, where I was, and one raised section, where all the sleeping people were (Mum and Dad specifically). I think it was about 2am. I decided to drive to go eat some pie. I snuck out the house, and went for the drive. It was the first dream I recall having at night time, so that was quite interesting. I drove down the road near my house with the speed bumps, but there were too many people turning left onto the main road, so I went back around the block, and turned left at a different location. I turned in front of a large truck, and had to accelerate quite quickly to avoid it. I don't recall if I ever made it to the pie shop, because the next thing I knew I was back inside, and my Mum was scolding me about needing to book the car in some sort of online form and seek prior permission before taking it out at night. I was being scolded by a post-it-note, rather than in person.

      *May recall something about driving near my old school at this point, but don't know specifically*

    6. First dream recalled in a long time

      Some of my day themes crept into my dream last night. I dreamt that my VPS provider, Linode, had started offering smaller plans for lesser cost (including 78MB of RAM as the smallest). I decided to go for a walk to find their main office, and sign up there (somehow signing up on the web wasn't an option in the dream). I went for a walk, and as it turned out, they had multiple offices along the street - the street was like one out of a "Rocky" movie, where all the houses are kind of similar to apartments, and have stairs going up to their doors. The first office I went into had 3 people lying down on green, flat, dentist chairs. They were being injected with a liquid that put them into a sleep, slowed their perception of reality down by 70 times, and allowed them to recognise that they were dreaming. Effectively, because they were put under for 1 hour, they were being given 70 hour lucid dreams. Once they fell asleep, they had some sort of goggles put over their eyes to increase their visualisation ability. After I saw this, I walked out the building and continued down the street to try and find their main office. I don't think I ever found it. When I walked back past the other building, there were people coming out of it throwing up, presumably as a side effect of the injection. This is all I remember.

      7/31/10

      1- Slave to my Own Bloodlust
      Poetry usually comes so naturally to me... And this is about Artemis. It should be easy. So why am I struggling? I am frantically trying to get a few more words down before class starts, when I am interrupted by the janitor. He wants me and several other students to accompany him on a brief errand. I readily follow, hoping that the trip takes longer than planned. Anything to get out of admitting that my homework isn't finished.

      Upon returning, I head slowly for the door--- when I realize that I left all my stuff in the janitor's van! When I hurry back to retrieve it, I am somewhat disconcerted to find that the creepy ghost kid who haunts the school has stolen it. Great. That means a trip down to the basement.

      The kid is not pleased to see me. I spend a considerable amount of time trying not to die before I finally manage to retrieve my bookbag and split. I missed English completely. "Oops."

      *time lapse*

      I am walking down the hallway when my former Master, a Gorgon-like lady named Tybanta Silbane, appears in the mirror. Apparently she's still a bit PO'd about me ripping her eyes out and then ignoring her whenever she tried to contact me. "Did you think you could escape me so easily, Hazel?" she hisses. "You underestimate me. However, I'm willing to give you one last chance. Repent, and become my slave once more, and your life shall be spared."

      My answer is a savage kick to the mirror, shattering her image and sending glass everywhere. Maybe now she'll get it through her thick, snakey head that I work for no one but myself.

      She may be annoying, but she's still a Goddess. Her wrath is rather frightful on a dark night. Fortunately, I have lucidity on my side to quell the fear.

      *time lapse*

      Now only semi-lucid, walking with the baseball team to Silbane's lair. They have practically reached cult-hood in their near worship of her, and she gives them plenty of drugs to keep them happy. My brother is afraid that he will be turned to stone by her gaze. "She's not really a Gorgon," I tell him, "but her eyes are her strength. Slashing them out is your best bet if she comes after you."

      Inside, she has her place set up like a fortune-teller's tent at a carnival. The words "Tybanta Silbane, the Magnificent," are written in elaborate letters across the table where she sits. Her only acknowledgement of my presence is a slight, sinister smirk. She plans to kill me.

      The baseball team is standing in line, and she gives them each a shot of some kind of drug. Soon I am at the front. I know that my shot will not be as enjoyable as the others'. Just as she is about to inject the venom into my veins, I duck out of the way and deftly grab two sewing needles from a nearby basket, jabbing them violently into the dark Goddess's eyes. As she screeches in rage, I then proceed to chop her to pieces.


      After the deed is done, I realize that I am sad to see her go. We had never really gotten along from the start, but deep down we had enjoyed each other's company.

      I shouldn't have worried, though. Goddesses never stay dead for long.

    8. Street at Night

      Notes:
      This was from an hour-long nap I took today.

      This dream involved me standing on a driveway to my house; I was facing the street right from the start. This place hardly looked like my house though. The driveway was all the way to the left of the lot, but I didn't look back to see if it properly connected with the house. Along the side of the driveway, there was a large evergreen tree, probably at least thirty feet tall. It filled up at least half the front yard. It was nighttime, but there were street lights casting an orange glow to the area. It was light enough to see everything.

      I became lucid, but I wasn't aware as I should have been, or would have liked. I immediately gasped and looked around, taking in the scenery, with no need to do a reality check. "I'm dreaming!" I confirmed to myself just from the fact that there was a jumbo tree sitting in my front yard. I immediately started to walk forward, and stopped as soon as I was about to set foot on the street. There was a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair walking down the road, her face turned away from me. A few feet from where she was walking, the road curved around a house and I couldn't see past it. I called out to her, asking where I was, and she turned around. I didn't recognize her face at all. She told me that I was in Las Vegas. I immediately told her off. "Yeah right, this is nothing like Las Vegas. There's no neon lights, no cars driving by, and definitely no casinos."

      I forgot about her and decided to try throwing a pokeball. I didn't think of what I'd release, though, until it was already in the air, so I just shouted out a random Pokemon. I shouted out, "Fearow!"


      It ended up on the road and looked like it should have: brown, with a pink beak and cream fuzz on its back. It was around the proper size too. But somehow, its behavior was off. Instead of flying above the ground or at least levitating, it was hopping along the ground like a duckling, and squawking every few seconds. It didn't turn to look at me when I called it. After that the dream ended rather abruptly; it was probably the thunderstorm outside that woke me.

      vague sex dream

      Annoying guy

      (i felt throughout the dream that this was Summer Dawne)

      I remember being outside with some guy who kept wanting to use my computer or something. I wouldn't let him and he was being an ass about it. I went into my house and found him in a computer room. I told him to get off and leave. Then i shoved him out the door. I go to my room with my computer and find that he's there. Now he looks like a punk kid with a leather jacket. We have some discussion where i tell him to leave once again.

      Lucid

      At first i was exploring some caverns with some guy. we had flashlights. for some reason we go outside and plan to go back in but the guy doesn't want me to go with him. I think he's hiding something so I sneak into the place.

      I find some weird cardboard thingies to hid in. the whole cavern is dark. As I move around them they sway from side to side. I wonder if the guy will notice the movement. He walks past so i wait a few seconds to follow him. After I follow him I wind up in some weird room. I hear someone coming so i go and hide in some bathroom and float above the door. A security guy enters and looks at me shocked. I then leave.

      I walk toward an open space and then find myself in a market. I become lucid randomly. I immediately try to orient the rest of my senses into the dream. I put my one hand in front of me. the middle finger is backwards and realise i am fingering myself.... ok. i pull my hand away and then back. now mi middle finger has two fingers pushed together. and when the flex the tip of the finger is joined but the fingers bend at opposite sides.... weird.

      Next sense is taste, so I grab a cloth fabric from one of the stands and try to eat it. It tastes terrible... now i have taste. I try to dilate time by putting my hand on the ground and start counting. i make it to 15 and stop (oops i forgot to imagine each number as a unit of time stretching out). I then called for asuka to come to me since i am lucid. While i waited i looked around at the people walking by. There were lots of asians... but no one that i recognised as Asuka.

      I walked into some store where it looked like a cool video game was being played. just then a brown little yappy dog jumped up and bit my arm. i ignored it for a while and walked into the game.

      I found myself outside fighting with the dog. Sometimes asuka is a yappy dog so I ask it. " Are you Asuka?" it says yes. it turns into a large dog and knocks me on the ground and then turns into a pirate man. "you're not asuka" i said. He laughed and I noticed he had two metal teeth.

      "I came here to put a stop to your doings" he said. "I saw what you did with Battery... that's dangerous stuff. You must be stopped." I was thinking Battery? what Is he talking about? i was using a flashlight earlier does he mean the batteries in the flashlight i was using earlier? As I pondered this the dream ended.


      Llama Dragon

      I remember coming to a fence in some weird farm. There was a tiny llama behind the fence. I went in there to look at it. and suddenly the Llama was on the opposite side of the fence and now it was big like a dragon. It had white fur. I was shocked and ran a bit. It started coming through the gate. Someone said that I should feed it and it would be friendly. I saw a plate with a fried egg or something on it and then i fed it to the Llama dragon.

      AA meeting

      some stupid dream where i get asked to speak at an AA meeting. I recognized and old friend there mark. Anyway i gave out a few sentences, but then i stopped. Everyone started talking about how great my speech was.


      Annoying guy accuses me of murder

      I'm in some construction area with the same annoying guy from the other dreams. He kills someone and says that I have to dispose of the body or else he will accuse me of murder. I comply and put the dead guy in a bag. I carry the bag to a large garbage bin and trow it in.

      I go to some coffee shop and the annoying guy looks like someone i know. He starts whispering in everyone's ear and points at me. I know he is telling them that I am a killer or something.

      bo Staff

      I am in my backyard spinning around a bo staff. for some reason i am doing really well and I'm surprised at how well i can move around with it. I see the one kid who wanted to stay at my dream house. Hes using a black bo staff to make high jumps and stuff. he is pretty good at it. I Think asuka was in the background hanging up laundry.

      Annoying guy gets PWNED


      I am back in town chasing that one guy from the previous dreams. Some how i shield him in a store. He can't get past the barrier i made. But i walk through it several times to piss him off.

      "Serves you right for just coming to interfere" I said and I walked away.


      disappointing camping trip



      I am with my brother and hid gf and we go on a camping trip. We meet up with James. Spend a night and then leave early in the morning. I complain that we should have spent a couple days instead of one night.... since all we do is work most of the year... we should have a bigger break. They don't listen to me.

      First dream of last night -

      My family and I were at Denny's and I was showing off a couple of Apps for my iPod. I showed one about food to my Mom, who was supremely skinny. She said the sushi looked good and pulled a pair of chopsticks out of somewhere and reached into the picture and pulled out some of the sushi. I realized this wasn't possible and thought "Oh my god, I'm dreaming!" The ensuing excitement woke me up.

      ---

      Second dream of last night -

      first it started up a third person p.o.v and I was looking at song lyrics for a new Rasputina cd. They talked about this house, it was haunted and bad things had happened there. Then it was like I was watching videos of the stuff that had happened. there were a lot of turtles involved. and breaking lightbulbs.

      A couple of other people and myself went to the place. When we got there we were told a bit about stuff that had happened.

      In the dream I was a character I role-play. Some others and myself - four including me - went to the creepy house. We walked around first - it seemed like a hotel of sorts. Then I spotted a light flickering on and off like a signal. We went and found a secret passageway with cramped stairs going up, and we came to a place that looked like a jungle. There were wooden walkways and we followed them. To our right was a wide river and a walkway leading up to it and to the front of us was another river. We went to the river in front of us.

      In the middle of the river was a big light that gave off heat, at one point making water shoot up into the air. I didn't want to go in at first, but one of the boys in our group went into the water and said it was fine, so we all went in, myself last.

      I was looking around and there were these glass display cabinets with runes in them. They had the English translation of them, and at one point they told my (character's) beginning/ horrible thing that happened that made them the way they are. I turned to the other girl in the group and said to her "You want to know about me? Here." and waded away, annoyed.

      There were now shelves on either side of the river holding beads and clay. I didn't really touch them but other people did. I saw a miniature clay loom and piano. We were starting to see more people, and it turned into a supermarket type setting, but there was still water around my legs. I got separated from my group and started looking for them. I saw a little girl, also lost, and for some reason it really made me sad, seeing this lone little girl. At this same time I heard "Playboy Mommy" by Tori Amos play over the speaker in the grocery store.

      At that point I woke up because my Mom was calling me. I still had "Playboy Mommy" playing in my head.

      Part of this is understandable - I can even pick out stuff that happened from the day before. My Grandparents took me to Denny's for dinner, I listened to 'Playboy Mommy' the day before, and of course I was looking at iPod apps. Some I'm not sure.
    11. July 29th, 2010: Three Short Lucid Dreams?

      I have trouble arranging dreams in the exact order they occurred. Also, sometimes I find it difficult to keep them from merging within my mind before I wake up to write them down. This sometimes results in a bit of confusion when I finally get to writing down my dreams in my journal. Last night, I had what now seem to be three separate lucid dreams within my first six hours of sleep. I have tried to arrange them in the manner that seems most right.

      The first dream I can remember involved a recent road trip I went on. I was traveling by myself through small towns in the west, and I was being followed by a hobo who wanted to take my money or something. This was a bit scary but not, like, a full on nightmare or anything.

      Somehow, this dream morphed and I was walking in a retail store. I think it was a Wal Mart or something. Anyway, the main aisle became a sort of highway and there were people lined up along the sides watching me. I felt strange and the whole scenario seemed off. At first I thought that they knew something about me and the cop was going to find out this secret. I didn't even know the secret! Eventually I figured it out: I was lucid and they were dream characters. This made me feel great but I didn't really know what to do so I just strolled around the store talking to my DCs and enjoying myself.

      There is a gap and I believe that last dream ended, sending me into a false awakening. I remember waking up in my bed. I instantly felt that something was off, so I did a reality check. I pressed my right pointer finger into my hand and it went right through. I had that EUREKA feeling again and got very excited. I jumped out of bed and looked for a way out of my house. I saw the window and burst through it, flying very hard in what would be a eastern direction. I ended up at a nearby elementary school, the one I attended as a child. I stood in the field and wondered what to do from there. So I guess I created a tower and started climbing it. Then I decided that it should be winter and it started snowing. This was awesome! I pretty much just jumped around on this tower, slid down it, made snow angels, etc. etc. I was having fun.

      Eventually, I think this dreamscape morphed into a more alien landscape. I remember sitting under the tower and enjoying the knowledge that I was lucid. Looking about, I was in a new place, a place not familiar to me. I entered a nearby bunker and saw my ex there. This was strange but I accepted her as real. I think that was part of the reason that I started losing dream clarity and lucidity. All of a sudden, the bunker (which reminded me of an old church) started being shot at by nails. Strange. So I promised her I would get the nail-shooter to stop. I went out into the cold and started running in the direction of the assailant. But I fell down a hill and my father was down at the bottom. He had a fire going too and my two boxer dogs Chester and Georgie were down there too. He made me watch after them, even though I told him that I was having a lucid dream and I needed to go. I ended up falling asleep there by the fire and lost lucidity.

      This was an exciting night of sleep but I think I have to watch out for dream characters because I tend to believe they are real and they tell me to do stupid things. Also, I never really know what to do when I become lucid, so usually I just fly around and get really excited. Haha. What should I do? If I focus on plans before I go to bed, will this influence my dreams?
    12. Matching the high spires

      Just got up from this one...

      House shopping, with friends, deal fell through in my apartment or some such. At some kid's house, selling cages for lizards, along with the lizards. It feels like freshman year again, for a moment. This house is a mess, but we'll buy it and fix it ourselves, it's so cheap. Outside the kid's father is building a massive sculpture out of metal, beer and soda cans.

      Mom and this guy are talking on the porch, and the yard's muddy and our three dogs are outside going to the bathroom. I can see my little sister in the sun room, and the house is looking more and more like my parent's house. I take a second to reflect upon all this, the end of summer, the dogs... Wait. Two of those dogs are dead in real life. And I last woke up at 6:30. I reality check (not that I needed it by then) to confirm I'm dreaming. My sister wants to join me, but I still don't see the point of bringing people I know in real life with me on my escapades. I tell her to stay and draw, because things are about to get strange.

      The sky deepens to a rolling grey, and the backyard curves and stretches, bending upward such that I can see the forest slope into expansive, pristine wooded valleys. 'Bout 70% conifers. So I fly, and it's easier than ever. I push myself off the ground and pull myself higher. I'm not focused at all on the tactile of the flight, but on the unbelievable control I have, in these three dimensions. I take one last look at my house, with its muddy yard and mangled dead tree, my mother, my sister avidly sketching, and then I look forward, and ascend even higher, farther, until they're gone and I'm somewhere completely new. I want to know how high I can fly. I want to know if the scenery will remain realistic. I ascend to the edge of the atmosphere, deep, blue, glowing, curved. Then I dive, using the dive's momentum I level out with intense speed. Parallel flight, I reach a city. It's like my college town in that I feel welcome, among people who share similar values, but the people here are more willing to show how developed they are. There are no roads here. The clouds are dusty and cumulus now, golden-brown against a backdrop of glowing grey. I want to reach them, so I spire climb. I grab onto apartment buildings with my eyes, and fling myself around and past them (like a satellite breaking orbit), grabbing onto the next highest, and the next, building speed and confidence. Eventually I reach a clock tower, the highest building. I'm at the top, admiring the view, and a man grabs my ankle. He's on The Drug, can't leave The Drug, but is fine on The Drug and has a good honest job (he loathes) which pays for The Drug. I'm dreaming, so what will it do to me? I take a pill, yellow and blue, from this young blond, and feel the weight of my body. The scene becomes metallic, and there are people after us now, people belonging to this new place rather than the one I flew through. We must run, but I'm not sure if I'll take him with me. He won't move on his own.

    13. Lucid dream(sort of)

      I realize am i lucid right at the beginning of the dream. No RC no MILD or anything. Just a sudden lucid dream. The dream looked clear but my field of view was narrow. Once again a first person dream. I give shared dreaming a try and go to summon a friend in my dream.I get into a park, crossed by a wide street with the trees on the side almost as tick as a forest. I try to summon my friend but fail miserably. In concentration i closed my eyes and when i try to open them back the dream is gone.

    14. The Quad Stacker (LUCID)

      As I was waking up from a dream, I had that moment of lucidity that comes before everything is gone. Determined to gain that back, I closed my eyes and kept thinking about dreaming. I'm not sure how I knew when to do this but at the right time I just opened my eyes and *POOF* I'm on the inside of a department store like Wal Mart or something. I began running through the store, taking in the dreamscape around me. Everything looked so vivid and clear, it was so real. The gravity of me running through it was the only thing that felt obviously fake, as I was pretty light and I would basically glide and slide with each stride (LOL rhyme). I stopped in the middle of a bunch of isles and prepared to fly, but the second I left the ground the dream got hazy and I woke up.


      Falling back asleep immediately, I find myself in the exact same department store. Without a question I know this is a dream so I start to run again. I don't run for as long this time because I had literally just done it, so I try to fly again. I wake up.


      I guess my subconscious is realizing that the department store is no good because I keep figuring out that I'm dreaming. My dreamscape changes to some city in the middle of the night where there are a lot of brick walls and I'm walking with my friends. I payed so little attention to my friends that I can't even remember who they were anymore I decide to do a reality check, since I had just been lucid twice and it seemed like the right thing to do, and viola I'm dreaming again. This time I decide not to fly because I want to stay lucid longer and not wake up, so I just enjoy looking at the darkened city and the odd feeling of being there. I have a false awakening, do a reality check and wake upon becoming lucid. I go back to sleep and now I'm in a similar dreamscape except this time we're all in a car and the guy sitting next to me is someone I've never seen before. He's aware of lucid dreaming and is questioning his reality. I ask him "Are we dreaming?" (notice that I say 'we') and he says "I dunno man, you tell me". I plug my nose and have no trouble breathing, but since I don't usually use this check I'm still doubting it. Then I look at the clock and notice it change to something completely random before my eyes. I say, "yeah, we're definitely dreaming" and check my hands to reassure myself. We wanted to get out of the car, so we jumped out sort of...which was kind of scary. We landed under a bridge and he said "Come one, this is a dream we can do whatever we want!". I'm still unsure for some reason so I count my fingers and get 6 every time. I jump around with him and I remember thinking, "I wonder if this is a real person and if this is a shared dream!". I tell him, "so i this is a dream then i should have no problem doing this!!" and I ran up one of the brick walls. He began screaming at me saying that it wasn't safe anyways. I started to lose control and woke up.

      Just for fun I did an RC and I WAS still dreaming, then I woke up again lol.
    15. Lucid Dream #2

      The dream started off with me doing a nose plug RC. I was in the neighborhood in Rolesville and it was night outside. I was walking down the street trying to turn the setting into day, but I could not do it. For some reason, I started jogging. I started running, and I ended up on Main Street. I remember there being a lot of commotion on Main Street for it to be the middle of the night.

      As I was running, I passed in front of the cop car. I wanted to say something mean, but did not want to get in trouble. Then I remembered it was a lucid dream and that I would do what I want, I yelled, "Fuck the popo!" as I ran by. I was hoping the cops would chase after me, but they didn't.

      Then, I ran into an old classmate and her family. I said hey and continued to tell them that this was in fact a dream. I showed them the nose plug RC and they did itand were astonished that they could breathe and they found it extremly amusing. Then I wanted to show them that they could fly so I jumped off the ground and tried to fly. I jumped as hard as I could, but I could only get a few feet of the ground.

      There were a few other things that happened, but they are just meaningless little desires I got while in the dream.

      Notes:
      This is the first Lucid Dream I've had since gaining intrest back in dreaming about a week ago. I am extremly pleased with my progress and the quality of the dream. However, I need to work on my control. The dream seemed a litle out of my control and I was not 100% fully aware of what was going on. I also had trouble with doing things in the dream too. I assume this is typical with any beginner and will get better with practice and expierence.
