Fragment of Dreams
I recall only a brief, blurry fragment. It was a sunny and warm day, I was standing on some balcony or something, looking at some fields.
A yard, a shipyard or something, a sci-fi setting. We were fighting different kinds of robots and maybe some aliens. It had a Start Trek vibe to it. There was a shape shifter guy was gloating about having beaten us in some way. We didn't interact with him directly, but that was a scene with him just saying that he'd won. There was something negative going wrong. I'd done something wrong somehow and was driving around.
A Harry Potter themed dream where most of the gang had been locked up and thrown into a pit. Whoever had done so had employed Mad-Eye Moody as a guard. A pidgeon flew down into the pit and the gang started playing with it. This really set off Moddy for some reason and he began ordering the prisoners not to play with it, until he determined it was safe. Whilst he was distracted, some of the heroes who weren't locked up attacked him, knocking him unconscious. Just before he went, he muttered something about foreshadowing. Even in the dream, I found that a bit strange (I'm an observer, in this one.) The crew clamboured out of the pit and started running down a hallway, where thay, for some reason, turned into the main characters from Futurama. Also with them was another decapodian who didn't seem to like Zoidberg all that much (but then who does?). When they reached the end, Leela made mention of a narrator who had apparently just died. Never heard him actually narate. A brief snippet of me in alleyway with the sixth doctor at one end and one of the other incarnations at the other. There was also a long narrative involving the twelth doctor and Clara, but I can't rember anything about that other than it happened and it may have also bought a few of my old friends from high school.
I vaguely recall slipping back into sleep while trying to recall another dream, and dreamed that I was back home with my parents. I realized that I am dreaming, but I woke up.
A few days back, there were two nights in a row where I was having dreams like Inception or something. Essentially, I knew that I was dreaming, but then I would have false awakenings inside of the dream. So I would think that I was awake, but I was actually still sleeping. In one particularly memorable dream, I was part of a laboratory experiment on sleeping. The idea was a bit absurd, now that I have my waking brain to analyze it: If I drank water during a dream, when I was thirsty, would I still be thirsty upon waking? I fell asleep inside of the dream, and took a nice long draught of water. I woke up inside the laboratory dream and found that no, I wasn't thirsty anymore! The scientists were all excited, and so was I. Then I woke up for real, and realized how cool that was. Unfortunately, I was still thirsty, so I took a drink of water for real. Experiment result: If you are thirsty during a dream, you should just fall asleep inside of the dream, and drink water within that dream. xD Or just wake up and drink water for real. In another dream, I think I knew I was dreaming and so I flew, but I wasn't conscious enough to think of anything more than that. -_- Last night is a bit more hazy, and I have an insane amount of homework to do today so this will be a quick summary: - A little girl who was left behind on a haunted island (with spirits and such) finally got found, rescued, and reunited with her loved ones. I think that I helped her somehow, but I honestly don't remember. I had a degree of lucidity in that one. - Another dream happened where I became lucid while driving a car through some mountains. Decent amount of city around me. I was singing and thought it would be a brilliant idea to practice my singing voice in my dream, where nobody could hear me. However my logic wasn't working too well and for some reason I thought I was actually singing out loud and was going to wake up my roommates. This caused me to wake up and realize I wasn't. -_- - I was in some sort of theater, and asked everyone in the room something like, "Hey! Who here knows they're dreaming right now?" My brother was there, too. I was hoping that someone else would remember, or maybe there'd be a shared dream or something, but I honestly can't remember what anyone said... - I was watching some sort of advertisement, and there was this girl in a swimsuit who was sort of attractive except she had one of those gross spray-on tans. - I have a vague memory of some sort of romantic/sexual dream, but I sadly can't remember it. Maybe I'll have a continuation of that theme tonight? :O We will see. That would be awesome! You know why this night was so successful, though? Affirmations plus sufficient sleep! The night before, I told myself I WILL lucid dream tonight, and I guess that determination worked its way into my subconscious. Plus Daylight Savings Time helped a TON. Woo!
I made a pact with a demon, who gave me a rather good deal. He will shower money and fortune to my boyfriend, and I just have to become more fragile (he mentioned my HP decreasing) while my ATK go up. This happens by me having to go through his deadly gauntlets daily, except that he also told me he'll revive me if I die or get maimed in the gauntlet.
I don't recall much except that I became lucid in a dream. I don't know much about what happened prior to that, just that all DCs ceased motion once I tried to stabilize my dream, and that there was a big fat man next to me. I woke up.
I recall a dream fragment where I was looking at a GIF on Imgur where there were a number of horses in the picture standing over wet, leaf-covered ground. A horse suddenly plunges into the ground. The other horses wandered around cluelessly before some started digging on another spot in the ground and uncovered a pool which the previous horse comes out of, revealing that the horses were standing on an island of dead leaves.
WBTB attempt First fragment I recall a blurry fragmet in which I was in my house. It was a sunny afternoon, the house was before renovation. I was walking through a hallway. Second fragment I was wandering around my school.
Got one DILD to note, as well as some highly vague fragments before that. I may have also achieved a TOTM. Scrap Group 1 In a beach with my family? Something about a party in an unknown house. Dream 1 - Phase Toss Scene 1 - That Other Player's a Jerk The visuals were a bit blurred. I falsely awaken on a wide, non-descript platform outdoors. Nothing but a clear blue sky was visible past its edges. This starts with something gross and weird. I'd prefer to forget about that. Later, I wander around, and find rows of floating, cubical buildings constructed of light colored materials. These were mostly featureless, just some squared holes for windows and low-walled balconies. I made a wide jump to a ledge, when suddenly, some guy came out and punched me right off. Thus, I fall to my doom. I "respawn", and figured this must be a game. Still, I was feeling unusually vengeful, and made numerous attempts at the guy's life. Yet, whenever I'd approach, he'd get the better of me and send me plummeting. I resort to punching holes into the walls and floor of his home while he was out of view purely to spite him. Somewhere between this petty griefing, I gain awareness. The scene distorts just as quickly. Scene 2 - Ironic Vision ft. Zangief Start in the void. My eyes were shut completely and refused to budge. Good thing I remembered to merely "see" past my lids. A new environment formed within seconds. Found myself in a room with a handful of people around me. Rows of pews were just ahead. Oh, a church. Indeed, some man was giving a religious speech in Spanish. Didn't concern myself with as much. I just floated around to look for more interesting things. It seemed no one else could see me. Just as well. The visuals blurred up momentarily, but "closing" my eyes even more fixed that. Next, I turned to a wall decorated with picture/display frames. Just remembered the phasing task. First, I tried peeking though the walls, but some invisible force near them kept repelling me. Ditto when I tried floating through the ceiling. So, I looked for a way around this, when I noticed an imposing figure just beside me: Zangief from Street Fighter. That was unexpected. Still, I didn't hesitate to ask for help in this matter. He nods in agreement. In an instant, he lifts me by the back of my shirt, and tosses me right through the ceiling. Now, I was cramped inside a small opening surrounded by wood constructions. Oops, too far, I only needed my head to go through. The ceiling was close enough, so I tried peeking through, and, this time, did so easily. Eh, not much to see. Past an air grate to the right, this was just a narrow, white, featureless enclosure.

11/3: After a few scenes that didn't make any sense, like four months ago showing my grandma's house before she passed away nine months ago, everything picks up after a dentist's appointment (I don't really have one until three weeks later). I am walking with a character down a hallway that looks like a cross between a backstage area from WWE Monday Night RAW, SmackDown! Live or Impact Wrestling and the hallway from a backdoor leading to an office, locker rooms and the backdoor of the gymnasium at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High--which, like certain young-adult fiction projects I've written--had arcade machines. The person I walk down the hall with is possibly Ashton Hobbs from Contestant 25, a young-adult fiction book series I'm currently working on and has taken me over 20 years -- September 1995 to be exact (I was 9 at the time) -- to get perfect. The next scene makes no sense, and was like a scene from a typical TV sitcom or movie after a school bully/main antagonist has done enough damage. I then see a locker room where a possible student is coughing, stuffed in a locker. The character and I then exit the school where this redhead teen and what appears to be his parent or his mentor were parked in line one spot ahead of us smiling and waving at me before my alarm clock buzzes at 6:45 this morning. I, however, do remember an OC ReMix playing - a remix of the opening from the 1989 Commodore Amiga game Shadow of the Beast - one of the first OC ReMixes on the site since the site's introduction in 1999. I wonder if I had gotten this dream last night after viewing the Wikipedia articles of Ross Powers and Kelly Slater on Wednesday on my Surface tablet that led to the image of the redhead teen at the end of the dream. However, if I view the Wikipedia article of James Lafferty, nothing happens dream-wise. I've also had some pretty strong dreams two months ago before my doctor's appointment and the finals of the U.S. Open, too, but it's probably too late. I think this dream was trying to tell me to watch what I write sometimes, although I have never in my 21-year writing career (yes, again, 1995) written about bullies doing these horrible, unspeakable things like what was demonstrated in my dream last night.
Attempted WBTB, failed I recall fragments of running around an old city. It was a medieval city that survived unchanged to modern times. It was a cold evening, there were riots all over the town.
Me and my friend from RL had our parents trying to get us to get together. This was also a thing IRL. I've finally had enough and we both told them that we just like each other as friends. Later on, I chat to my boyfriend on IRC about a trading card game and whether I should get 5 copies of this one card or 5 different cards. He advised the former, the card was just that good.
I recall a dream fragment where my family took my house helper on vacation with us, we were in a Japanese restaurant. I was asked to order food for her but I told my mom I wouldn't know what the helper would like. I was also tasting what we have ordered prior. They taste great. I also recall chatting with an internet friend on Steam.

I was walking around in a neighborhood looking for something. Someone said something about a defense system, but I knew they meant a security system. It was a nice neighborhood, nice cars and lawns. I ended up in a house on couch sleeping. I remember a short snippet of a guy trying to sleep in a bookcase with the wall kinda crumbling. Then the scene changed and I was seeing an a guy in an orange suit, a coverall like a prisoner would wear. He was just running, he wasn't a prisoner, he just had the gear on. I knew it was a dream, so I decided that I wanted be in that scene, and I was there. I kind of dropped into it like I jumped down and landed. I didn't really see much of myself. I looked up at a ledge that led to a parking lot or some other flat area. I was on asphalt only a little ways below it. I was still thinking about this being a dream. I thought about doing an RC, but I just pulled myself up. Then I felt like I was tangled up with my physical body, so I tried to get free by rolling or something. At that point I lost that scene. I had some blurry vision of trying to roll away from my body. I could hear what sounded like me moving in my bed and that woke me up. It really reminded me of my first almost WILD when I woke myself up trying to get into the scene that had formed. At least got to be in this one and do a couple of things. I guess that was my first lucid, such as it was. It was a MILD after yet another failed WILD. I'll take it.
