Lucid Dreams
Last night was my first lucid after my break from LDing. Took me 6 days to accomplish, starting on 11/16/12. Basically involved me trying to summon people and flying but I didn't do any of them, I tried to fly but I just fell on the grass and it hurt..
Night of 11/17/12 I am wandering around the dream world, just exploring and playing around with my dream powers. At one point, I am giving some DCs a tour of my dream map. As I am walking, I look up in the sky and notice several missiles headed straight for us. I immediately flee from their path in great leaping bounds. After they've been detonated, one of my "crew members" tells me they were set off by a traitor. I instantly call out the traitor and he begins chasing me and my informant. I run, thrilled to have some excitement. We are on the roof of a building; my informant tells me she cannot jump to the next roof. "It's too far!" she cries. "No it's not," I tell her. "Just jump! You'll make it." I grab her hand and drag her along with me as I jump to the next building, making sure she lands safely on her feet. Looking over my shoulder, I note that the traitor is in hot persuit. Okay, running time is over. "Stand back," I tell my companion as I draw a sword from thin air. The traitor quickly approaches with a sword of his own. He is an excellent fighter, but I can see every move he is going to make and easily parry his attacks. Finally, I kick him off balance and hold him to the ground, keeping him in place as the rest of my crew comes to take him away.

Night of 11/8/12 I am standing in my room when I notice a small yellow jacket flying around. Great, how did a bee get in here? I am looking for something to smash it with, when suddenly a whole SWARM of bees is in the room, covering litterally every inch of the walls. Completely freaked out, I bolt from the room, screaming, swatting bees out of my hair. Out in the hallway, I realize Alex (my roommate) is still in the room sleeping. "Alex!" I yell. "Alex! You'd better get out here before the bees sting you!" But as I look around the hallway, I notice to my extreme horror that it is also filled with bees! Is it a yellow jacket plague!? What do I do??? There is nowhere for me to walk without upsetting the swarm. I am so alarmed that I jolt into a false awakening. Now I am standing beside my desk, telling Alex about my dream. Before I can get more than a few words out, however, she suddenly freaks out and points at my wall. There, is a small bee-like insect. "Don't worry," I tell her nervously, "that must have been what caused me to have the dream." But as I get a closer look, I see that it is not a bee at all: it is a tiny demonic looking fairy wearing a gas mask. The fairy gives me a look that clearly says, "You'd better not tell anyone you saw me." I immediately grab Alex and drag her out into the hallway to tell her what I saw. Out in the hallway, however, we are alarmed to find the massive swarm of yellow jackets! "This is just like my dream!" I shriek, before doing a reality check. No wonder. I'm still dreaming. Another false awakening. Now, I am in the bathroom with Alex, Jake, Sadie (my cat), and Roxie (Jake's dog). Roxie turns into a clone of Sadie. They alternate between hissing at each other and rubbing against each other affectionately. "What's up with them?" I ask Jake. "Oh, they do that all the time," he says nonchalantly. I bend down to pet them. At first, they purr and lean into my hand. Then, Jake says, "And that's what demon cats do." Suddenly, the cats become completely feral and tear up my arm. It hurts a bit, but it is also accompanyied by a feeling so terrible, a feeling of complete and utter horror, that I am once again jolted into a false awakening. This time, I am lying in bed in my dark room. Freaked out, I instantly do a reality check and determine that I'm still dreaming. A dark skinned girl with long hair sits at the foot of my bed, holding my large HP Lovecraft book. She is rambling about aliens crawling through her ears to her brain. I instinctively know that she's about to enact some sort of dream torture upon me, and I'm screaming at her to go away. I am stuck in sleep paralysis, unable to defend myself. As a last resort, I close my eyes and let the darkness wash the dream away. I'll wake up in a better dream, I'll wake up in a better dream, I think to myself frantically, but a feeling of utter terror has taken over the entire atmosphere, and I know the next dream will be worse than the last. I struggle to get out of sleep paralysis and into the real world, but every time I open my eyes, the most terryfying figure is looming over me. He has incredibly long arms which are wrapped tightly around me, pulling me out of reality toward a worse nightmare. His face is the most twisted, demented thing I've ever seen, it can't even be described with words, and he's wearing a large top hat. Knowing that it is just a dream does not protect me from the agonizing feelings that he is inflicting in me. I am still frantically struggling to wake myself up, but each time I pull myself from the paralysis enough to do a reality check, I am still dreaming! After what seems like ages, I finally jolt awake, panting heavily. I am instantly annoyed with myself for breaking my most important rule: DON'T WAKE YOURSELF UP.

Night of 10/8/12 I am lucid, though it seems to be a very low level. I have accidentally awakened an evil Goddess, who is sending horrific atrocities to torment me. A large, disturbing deity has risen up from the ground, among other horrors. Narration claims there are Holy Books at my disposal to get rid of everything, but I cannot see the books. I flee and somehow end up with a talking sheep as a companion. We enter a building and are given a riddle that has something to do with a certain "Flor." I'm assuming that it's some sort of Earth Goddess reference. Somehow it ends up being a demented Silent Hill version of my friend Amanda who crawls from a stained glass window toward me. All sorts of creepy people whose eyes and mouths are stapled shut appear. They start shooting needles at me, which hurt A LOT. I try to escape, but they swarm me and drag me to the ground. Even though I know it is a dream, it is still very freaky. I am considering whether or not to classify the dream as a nightmare while the creatures proceed to pile on top of me. I force myself into a false awakening.

In some kind of forest and there’s a wooden building quite large suddenly everything’s on fire so escape and look back at the burning building and some strange figure steps out on fire, looks like a burning Gandalf kind of zombiefied from the flames. Says something about how I’m fighting the undead! There was this artificial beach with a giant wall and like fake bit of sea off this new road in my town. The wall was covered in graffiti and there was this lady who seemed like a council member saying how graffiti would be banned because of it. Back at the old house I grew up in (2nd night in a row I’ve dreamt this dream sign) must have triggered some lucidity because I remembered that I could fly if I wanted to and that it was once a common dream sign of mine to the point where I thought I could do it in reality! The flying wasn’t like superman flying more like floating a few feet off the ground and in order to do it I had to do swimming motions with my feet & arms but still quite fun though. I was using this skill to fly over our garden & the neighbour’s garden to put something into their recycling bin because we didn’t have one. Also remember there being a tunnel leading away from the street with a big wooden door at the end that had swung shut & I was thinking I need it to be open so when I drive away I don’t have to get out my car to open it.
I had awareness and decided to ask the dreamworld about the apocalipsis 21 desember 2012.I cried loudly: Hey! What will be? A few big strong men came to me and said: apocalipsis... we dont' know... They caught me and became to press my forehead. I awoke, but few seconds had an unpleasent feeling in forehead.
11/19/2012 2:30am Non lucid Lucid At a large live theatre like building a group of people and I were discussing certain current issues. There were large speakers and great lighting. To the left of the seating was a large control room with windows that pointed out toward the stage and audience. Also a ramp came up from the base of the stage and met the control room at a slight angle where there was a wide opening in the wall. There was no production going on at the moment but other people were busy doing random things in preparation for some event. I entered the control room and started talking to Jock who was sitting at a computer. He swivelled around in his chair to greet me and we chatted a bit. He wrote his number down on a piece of paper so I could call him up later and finish our exchange. I started to walk out to the ramp and I looked at the page. He had also written the names and numbers of other people we both know and was nice enough to include other numbers like the local movie theatre, hardware store, and pizza joint. I thought this was slightly strange but also helpful and kind. I stuffed the list in my back pocket and continued over to the ramp when the dream started to transition. Suddenly I saw one of my least favourite pop artist flying down the mountain on skis, catching air of a snow berm and headed straight for me. Before I could move Cher crashed into me, knocking me to the ground. The dream re-transitioned and I found myself in the kitchen with my girlfriend. I thought to myself "WTF was Cher doing in my dream? On Skis!?Crashing into me only moments before at a place I've never been to?" I started to do a reality check by looking down counting my fingers. "one, two, three" I could already see my hand was not normal but I continued counting any way and my girlfriend joined in the increasingly exciting count. "four, Five, SIX, SEVEN!". I had about nine fingers on my right hand all together. "Ah ha I am dreaming." I told my girlfriend and gave her a high five. Unfortunately I forgot to anchor myself and tugged at my GF black shirt to bring her in for a kiss before I took off to do whatever. She giggled and gently pushed me away and said "Pshht come on silly you're dreaming.".. then I woke up.. Pfffft.
Ahh, it sure has been a while, hasn't it? Welcome back, my friends, to Snowy's magnificent dream journal! After DV's recent... troubles, I have been inspired to start using this feature more. But anyway, here's my dream from last night! So I found myself alone on a snowy plain, with rolling hills blanketed in white for as far as I could see. This was nice, as I love the snow (I'm not called Snowy for nothing!). Off in the distance was a mountain range, with sharp mountains and jagged peaks. I became lucid completely by accident, which I'd have to admit was pretty cool. The first thing that came to my mind was something along the lines of, "snow again, huh?", as most of my dreams lately have featured snow in some way or another, but those are tales for another time. I began to walk around the wintery expanse, becoming increasingly aware of how cold it was. Eventually, the temperature became intolerable, and I made myself a nice fur jacket out of some nearby air. Here I almost lost lucidity and woke up, but I managed to overcome the feeling. I wandered the plains for what felt like hours, and it was great. By far the longest lucid I've ever had! One would think that I'd lose some of my skills during my hiatus, but I guess not! How lucky of me. Eventually, I decided to let loose and have some fun. I melted the snow around my feet, and discovered that I was standing on what seemed like a frozen ocean, with ice and stationary fish extending downward for a terrifyingly long time. What I thought were hills earlier were actually frozen bulges and waves on the ocean's surface, and I began to feel an overwhelming fear of my surroundings. The fear overtook me (I have no idea where it came from), and I woke up. Quite a good night, if I may say so myself!
Things seem to merge together. I know I've been sleeping a lot....like around 10 hours a day lot. I'm pretty sure most of it has been due to a combination of REM rebound, and blood loss. Anyways, here's what I remember. Everything I fuzzy....super fuzzy. I'm not sure if I'm still just hallucinating or actually in the dream. I try to get up, but my body is so heavy. Everything resets, and I'm back in my bed. NREM? maybe.....I look down over my bed, and I see a black pair of shorts on the ground. I use TK to move them, but it's so fucked up looking. As my shorts slide across the floor, they skip frames of animation. There a monitor sitting on my chair....I decided to look at it.....nothing but porn. Classic SP....complete blackness...can't move and that's it....I break out of it, and notice my heart rate speeds up. I go to sleep again, knowing it's going to hit me. Same thing....but I see a television turn on. Strange, because I don't watch TV that much. I feel something holding me back....I shake it. (total unrelated) I'm in bed with a woman, but my eyes are closed. I'm still feeling the effects of SP...I don't know if this is the dream or something else. She's laying right next to me...long flowing hair....like down to her feet. Fuck it....I grabbed her hand, and out fingers interlaced, and she grabbed my throat, and I woke up.
Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #31: The Edge of Venice I’m in line at a cafeteria salad bar, waiting behind a middle-aged lady. The salad bar is utilitarian, old, and no-frills, like something you’d find in a high school lunchroom. I suddenly notice that my noise-canceling headphones are draped over the top of the salad bar. “Great!” I think. “I’ve been looking for those.” The lady in front of me grabs the headphones off of the salad bar. They turn into salad tongs and she begins using them to pile lettuce onto her plate. “Hey!” I complain. “Those are my headphones! You're gonna ruin them!” The lady just looks at me. I get a sense of how ridiculous this is and realize that I’m dreaming. The lady continues to stare at me and I head for the cafeteria's exit door. It’s a bright, clear day and now that I'm outside, I see that the restaurant sits on the shores of a lake. The lake is dotted with rowboats and stretches away toward a mountain range. I pause to look at the rowboats and see that most of them are manned by little DC families of four, two parents and two kids. I rise into the air and turn to the left, ready to explore. There's a huge cloud bank that rests against the mountains and extends almost all the way to the ground. The cloud is strange, and I realize that a) it’s pink and b) it appears to be much more solid and substantial than a typical cloud. After looking at it for a moment I realize that it’s actually a gigantic, super-detailed loofah. I try to circle around the loofah but for some reason turning feels difficult. I sort of feel like I should be turning but nothing’s really happening. I don’t make a big deal out of it and fly around on the left side of the loofah. Up ahead I see a Venice-like city of canals. Gondola operators mill about on the docks as I drift by, relaxing in the sun and managing their boats. One of these DCs looks up at me as I fly overhead, raising one hand to shield his eyes from the sun. I see buildings and a whole network of canals ahead of me and begin flying toward them, eager to explore this Dream Venice. Unfortuantely, I awaken abruptly. The dream was really vivid at this point so the awakening was an unpleasant surprise.

Just woke from a pretty spectacular dream where I was hanging out with some unidentified friend in somewhere that seemed like it was the country Wales where I once lived. He had long dark hair like a guy I once knew out there, and he seemed to guild me through this dream. We moved from place to place in the dream. At one point we entered into what seemed like a cave on a cliff side over looking the sea and there was a mini island visible from there with different kinds of buildings & lots of lush greenery on it. I remember asking people there if it was Porthcawl, a seaside town in Wales I once visited but they laughed and said it was somewhere else. It was a beautiful view and I remember wanting to photograph it but as I took out my camera the view became more obscured by other people in the cave and seemed to fade. This part of the dream was quite lucid like I consciously wanted to photograph this view I could see as it was so amazing. Suddenly my focus went from the view to within the cave and there was a part of it where water was dripping down in like a fine rain as you get in caves sometimes where water is soaking through the rocks. Water is one of my common dream signs so no surprise it's appeared there. There were some rusty bars stopping us from falling through a hole at the back of the cave wall. I went to grab one & someone warned me not to touch them as they were loose then someone else tried to climb them and they started breaking away. The dream changed then to me being sat on a public bench somewhere trying to roll a massive joint but I kept having to stop and start to avoid being caught, weed is yet another common dream sign of mine! I remember feeling like I was smoking this big joint with the long haired guy. We were by a front garden of a house with some other lads and one guy was upset his pregnant girlfriend was cheating on him & I was passing this massive coned spliff around!
Honestly this was sorta unexpected since I initially I thought it was a daydream. While trying to fall asleep for the night I actually took a "afternoon nap" and transitioned straight into a dream. I turned myself into a woman and at around the same time I started to hear a teenage boy whimpering and crying, I had him come over to me and I hugged him to calm him down. I got him to lick me down there, once I started to feel the pleasure from it I realized this was a full on dream and not a daydream, and I woke up a few seconds after that.
After I roll out my vision seems to be sorta impaired like there is something in the way. I wake up. Then I DEILD again but this time instead of waiting for the vibes to stop completely I just roll while I'm still vibrating. It works and I am in the dream. I ignore the vision problem and it fixes its self. I touch the walls and stuff to ground myself. I then wanted to do something interesting so I get into the mind set of a ghoul to see if I could change. It kinda works. I think I grew claws and sharp teeth..maybe?? Anyway I go into that bathroom and slice a DC neck. Some blood got into my mouth and it taste like...strawberry? (No wonder zombies like eating people). I then look myself in the mirror and I am completely normal looking. I got the same bushy hair, the same brown skin, nothing changed. I then decided to just be normal. I go into my living room. The lights are already on. On both sides there are two couches which are used by beds by me. To my left is the entrance to the kitchen, near the entrance is a yellow chair and a table. At the back of the living room are two windows, an air conditioner is taking the place of the window. And the T.V. I have this strange feeling that the ghoul version of myself is coming after me. I look at the bathroom and the bathroom door which I have left opened when I exited is all of a sudden closed. I have a feeling that this evil me is in there. I hear growls. I decided that I should just get this over with so I walk in there and let the thing 'kill' me. After I 'die' my consciousness merges with this other part of me, then I become normal. When I exit the bathroom for the second time I see a head on the floor that can talk. It is covered in a mask. The entrance to the apartment is open. I kick the head out and close the door. I go into the kitchen. I feel myself leaving the dream. Quickly, I ground myself by looking down at my body and touching it, this works as I feel my presence return. I then say "Hmm what did I wanted to do...oh yeah psi!" I then sit down, close my eyes and tried to make a psi ball but I quickly lost lucidity and the dream changes drastically. I am now a simple observer. I am in space and I say to myself " I want to colonize my own planet" I find a planet and 'drag' it over somewhere. I see space cars flying by. I then rotate the planet around. I see a yellow node on the planet that has the name of a location on the planet. I ping myself over there. Now I am observing an anachronox style fight. (Anachronox is a fun game btw). So I see Sly Boots, Grampos and some 3rd character I don't know that's in the game. Boots dies. So I, as the observer playing the game somehow uses a mindtear (that revives dead characters) on boots. He comes back but for some reason he is still on the ground. Grampos kills boots again. The scene changes. Now I am playing sphinx and the cursed mummy, or just observing it. (If you like Zelda you will like this game). I see the main character Sphinx get trapped in a room and attacked by a wolf spirit head. Another character says "Blood is now in your lungs, it now longs for more, you will feel like you are aging.." Another scene change. Now I am watching Ethan Mars from Heavy rain (Another interesting game lol). Ethan looks out the window and he has a shocked look on his face. I get a view of the window, there is nothing but an abyss. Then a grown up Shaun appears and closes the window. Then the scene changes to Ethan jumping off of these platforms hanging from the abyss, unfortunately Ethan messes up a jump and he falls into darkness. Another scene change. I am in the bathroom and all of a sudden these aliens appear and say "We have accumulated billions of dollars take us to your leaders" Then I wake up.
recently most of the time when i am dreaming i am able to realize that its possibly a dream and then i dont get very excited any more about being lucid , all that happens is that i try to change little things from then on , for example if i feel attracted to a cute stranger i try to keep that person in the dream , or if something is frightening i try to make it go away but that not really lucidity to its full potential like i used to do before , its almost like i am in a state that i am between being completely lucid and not lucid at all , like a semi lucid state and then short after that i tend to wake up and some times if the dream is interesting enough i am able to fall back asleep and continue it , so gthe question is how do i improve this semi lucid state to a full lucid state. please forgive me if there is grammer and other mistakes because i am not a native speaker, thanksssssssssss in advance.
Thoughts | Non-Lucid | Lucid | Techniques/Aids Bedtime 11:30PM-7:00AM Potassium 1200 B6 400MG Taurin 500MG Beer I am not sure why I took so many supplements last night. Blame it on the beer. Most of the night was a dark blank. But I was able to successfully WILD in the later part of the morning. I woke up from a dream earlier but fell back to sleep as I was trying to recall it. Fragment 5:44AM Something about being at the same place at 13th Street building and going to the gas station. In another dream my wife says, "You want It. Don't you?" I say, "Yeah, but after 9 - 9:30 I'm just so tired." I got up to pee at this point and thought about staying up for 30min to WBTB. Seeing how it was almost 6 I thought my son might be waking up soon so I just laid back down with a strong resolve to WILD. Plus the thought of having to stay awake made me shutter. I was really sleepy. I was able to hold awareness for sometime I eventually slipped unconscious. At about 6:30AM the baby woke us up. I really wanted to get a WILD so it's shameful but I played possum until my wife go up with him. It was worth it because I was more determined not to lose it again. Lucid #96 WILD OBE 7:00AM This time I stay aware longer. I used a lot of different visualizations. I have been looking for an easy to go visual to allow me to actively enter the dream easier and more consistent. I ended up trying to imagine myself walking up endless stairs. That seemed to be easy enough. I am not sure but I think I just about lost it again until I felt really strong vibrations. My awareness snaps to it then. It's funny but I don't remember any sounds this time. I quickly and easily imagined my feet going over the side of the bed an touching the floor. Now I am standing. I see the bedroom door and start to walk to it. Suddenly I feel the vibrations again. I watch as I am sucked backwards against my will back into my body. I let out a huge gasps. The sensation was very odd but I did not let it stop me. I transition out once again the same way. This time I am blind. I spend a few minutes trying to open my eyes. Every time I open them I see out of my real eyes from the point of view of laying in bed on my right side. I don't want to wake myself up so I don't worry about it too much as I realize that when this happens, the best thing to do is to go along into the dream and forget that I can't see. I fumble around a bit but quickly and easily open the bedroom door and walk through the house to the front door. I notice that I reach the front door almost immediately. I think no there should be more steps than that. So to satisfy myself I let go of the door knob and take a few quick strides forward until I feel the door again. At that point I realized that I have no idea what I wanted to do. I decide its too late for that and just decide to explore the dream. I open the front door and realize that I am in my underwear only. I think well its a dream and it really doesn't matter. Then I remember a thought I had in waking life. Now that its getting colder and I having so many OBEs will I feel cold if I go outside? As I step out I feel cold air swirl around me. I don't like it and force the thought out of my mind. The cold goes away. I see my black cat Sputnik. She it fighting with another cat. I hear the awful sounds of cats fighting and then they both run away. Ha! Now I realize that I can see. It's still really dark and hazy but I can see. I think in waking life the sun should be up by now. I am a little disappointed. I look around the neighborhood as best as I can. I remember another thought from waking life. I never see to look very far down the street when I am outside in a LD. So I just try to focus on that but its too dark. As I am looking around I begin to notice that the houses look almost like a medieval village and they all have torches and sconces mounted on the outside. At that point the dream does dark. I feel my awareness pulling away and shifting to the physical world. I let it be as I know I can DEILD back in. I wait never moving or opening my eyes. I make a huge mistake here. I am waiting for vibrations and forget that SP is not a requirement. I have a false awakening. I grab my galaxy player and start to enter into my DJ. I see the time is a little after 7am. I hear my brother-In-Law say something odd to my left. I look at him. He is lying next to me looking at his phone. He says, "I was just kidding. I just like to say that sometimes." I think I start to realize it was a dream still but the shock of it wakes me up for real. The last time I had an OBE my wife was in the living room in waking life. Wouldn't it be amazing if she actually saw me on morning? I keep expecting her to say something odd happened but she never does. I doubt it would ever happen. Sometimes I wonder about it but I still think OBEs are just dreams.
