    1. A Full Day

      by , 11-25-2012 at 02:59 PM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      9:00 A.M. A Full Day

I was at work, though not my work IWL. It was a new job I think. It's fuzzy, but I think I had enough experience in the field to be coming in higher than ground floor.

I ended up going out to get some stamps. I asked the lady how much it would be to get forever stamps. She said it would be extra. I told her that that really isn't fair because I am paying for a product today--

She interrupted me and wouldn't help me anymore saying that I was making a scene or something. I looked and saw another customer. I went and said in a low voice that she could have just said that I needed to wait a moment to talk to her about it, so she could help the next person, and then we could finish...and I could finish.

She said, "OK, go wait over there then." I looked down, I had my stamps and my change on the counter, though I hadn't paid the lady.

My change was in Eisenhower dollars, silver halves, silver quarters, and the like. I was so excited, and I thought I'd recognized this change from somewhere. I dreamed of it because I recently saw some coins at a pawn shop.

I put the change in my pocket and decided I would pay for the stamps later, though I was nervous about showing her the change she'd given so that she would know how much I owed her. I didn't want her to see the valuable change she'd given me.

I went over to a table to wait for the lady and started to look at my coins, but now I had so many coats and bags that I was carrying, I didn't know how I was going to carry everything out of the "Post Office / Bank" place I was in.

I soon started collecting all my stuff to leave just so I could figure out exactly how I would get it all together. As I left, I found two baseballs. One had deep grooves as though a bear had clawed through it. I put my fingers in the grooves. It was from where a real pitcher had pitched a certain type of pitch and it made those grooves.

The other baseball was blue and green and more of a toy ball. I bounced it and had a hard time catching it. I then saw my surroundings very clearly to see where I was going home. I was cutting through someones land on a public road. They had workers spreading mulch all around trees. they had one machine spreading and another pushing it neatly along a path.

I walked on to get back to wherever I was going. I ended up cutting through a public pool. I had some big balloon type things I was carrying now. I had about five of them.

I started talking to some of the people, then jumped in the pool. I put one or two of these giant, awkward balloon things in my trunks, and asked if a girl could help me stuff the others in my trunks so I wouldn't have to hold them. I also wanted her to stuff her hands down my trunks, but I didn't say anything about that.

As one or maybe two of the girls were going to help me, I saw a third girl. I told her she was cute, and then went with the two girls who were going to help me.

I don't remember the transition, but I started seeing all these people's faces. I went over to a cute girl and realized I was dreaming.

I quickly found a girl that I thought was cute and went to kiss her. She said, "What?" I said, "I'm dreaming, aren't I?" I did a reality check so that I didn't make a huge mistake. I was happy to see too many fingers, didn't bother to count them all, and went in to kiss this girl. She didn't question it this time.

For some reason that was done and I looked for another girl. I found the cutest one I could find and leaned in to kiss her. This was great. I started trying to make it with her. I held her close and kissed her well.

Then some guy came up to me to fight me because of what I was doing. Stupid me lets him interrupt my dream. At first, I went to hit him. I thought it would be fun, but I had quicksand punches. FUCK!

I tried again with no luck. Now I was trying to get my shirt off and I couldn't. This sucked. I eventually ended up in another scene
. I was getting cake for some reason, but I was giving mine to pretty girls. I gave some to this girl, but then implied that I get to hug her for giving it to her. I held her close with her breasts in my face. I didn't want to let go.

I then had more to do about the cake. I found another piece and gave it to the girl who let me hug her and hugged her some more. Then I was finding cake that wasn't mine and it was a bunch of blah blah blah.

      The end.

10:45 AM Driving in a Half Time Parade

I was told that either a friend from work K.K. could drive a tram at the Football game. I raised my hand and was chosen. I was given a beer and the keys (?). I drank the beer. It was pretty good for a dream beer. Then I took the keys and got in the driver's seat. I was next to a pretty girl.

I looked up and the tram was already moving. At first I was afraid as though I had not been responsible and gotten in the driver's seat right away. I started to drive, and thought it wasn't even on. I had the keys, but there were keys in the ignition, and I couldn't tell if the ignition was on.

Someone questioned me, so I turned it over. OK, now we're rolling. I needed to turn the heater on or off, but I couldn't figure out where the button was. I started pushing lots of buttons, but they weren't normal buttons. They were all close to each other and they weren't the right shape.

Someone asked about it so I handed them some book. I said, "Here, find it." I wanted to know where the heater button was and where I was going. The person asked me again and I said, "You find it." They got it then.

I asked if we should take the highway West, then corrected myself to East. I was feeling really drunk from the beer. I couldn't believe I was driving.

The girl was looking at the book. Our cheeks were touching. Then she took the book and started looking up the directions.

      The End.

    2. Lucid Dream

by , 11-24-2012 at 04:32 AM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I really need to update my dream journal more often...

I remember seeing that the time on my computer was 10:12 AM. I looked over at the clock on the oven, and that said it was 6:58. I thought that perhaps the clock was wrong, so I looked back at my computer clock, which now read 7:00 PM. The oven clock had also changed to 10:12.

I remembered that clocks sometimes change in dreams, so I decided it would be best to do an RC. I counted the fingers on my right hand, but I had five fingers. I still had a feeling it was a dream, though, so I repeated the RC with my left hand. I counted six fingers (I actually skipped my thumb, so I really should have counted seven).

I knew I was dreaming but quickly woke up (I think it was a false awakening, but I can't remember).

    3. Feynman Vs. Slenderman: The Showdown

      by , 11-23-2012 at 05:42 PM
Okay, so for a couple months I was plagued by nightmares of Slenderman. I finally decided that I'd had enough and came here. I got a lucid dream on my third try. I don't remember it in great detail, but it went like this:

I was in Barnes and Noble during some big book sale, and there were tons of people. For some reason, I just got that feeling that you get in dreams sometimes when you can just tell it's going to turn into a nightmare (You know that feeling, right?) For some reason, I just decided to do one of my reality checks and sure enough my finger went right through my hand. That's when Slendy walked in.

Everybody ran away, and I just stood there staring right at it. Someone shouted at me to run but I said to no one in particular that I wasn't going to run away anymore. After a few seconds of standoff Slenderman went multi-armed and reached towards me. That's where it gets a little fuzzy, but I remember we had this huge battle and I pounded the crap out of him. I tackled him through a window into the mall (the Barnes and Noble near me is in a mall). I thought I'd killed him, but he got back up. I was ready for round to, but he just stared at me for a second and then walked away. I don't know if that means he'll come back, but I'm just glad he's gone for now.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Realizing that I don't have the project I'm supposed to be working on, I remember that I had handed it to Alex after lunch for her to take back to the room. Upon asking her, she admits that she accidentally left it in her last class. She agrees to go get it if I walk with her. "What building is it in?" I ask. She says some weird name that I've never heard of. I figure it must be something specifically for music students.

As we are walking from our dorm, I notice some people eating and I become extremely hungry. I also have a horrible feeling that today somehow marks the end of the world. I tell Alex that I want to eat some really good food since it might just be our last meal. She wants to know what I mean, so I tell her about my feeling. "Why would the world randomly end today?" she asks.

"I don't know... But still, it's close to dinner time and I want food."

We make it to her class and she gives me back my project. She points to a sign on the far end of the warehouse-like building that says something along the lines of "Suzie's Corner."

"That's a good place to eat," she tells me. I am amazed that there is a restaurant in here that I've never heard of before. Weird...

When we go over there to get food, there are a lot of men in construction get-up walking around working. Something feels really off all of a sudden. The restraunt is near the opening of the building, and it becomes apparent that all is not well outside. In fact, there appears to be a growing congregation of zombies.

"Are those... zombies?" I ask, not sure whether to believe my eyes.

"Um... looks like it," Alex answers incredulously.

As we search the zombie infested campus for our friends, it becomes clear that these are not normal zombies. They are fast moving when they want to be, and they have limited speech capabilites (mainly to assure their victims that they won't bite them). They also seem to have no desire to eat human flesh, only to infect. It later becomes apparent that they are extremely interested in candy, so I refer to them as Adventure Time zombies.

Along the way, we find several of our friends who are alive and well. But each one of them soon falls prey to the zombies, one by one. At one point, I am holding a girl I know as she cries--- her best friend had just become a zombie and I barely stopped her from turning the girl into one.

Soon, I feel as though I'm the only human left. Alex is still alive, no doubt, but we have become separated and it would be foolish to stay here. So I manage to escape campus (despite the blockade attempt made by the zombies), and begin walking through a stretch of woods towards the city.

It is not long before I'm attacked by a possibly infected weasle. I stomp on the thing several times, clearly crushing it's back, but it keeps coming at me! Finally I hold it down with one foot and grind my other foot into its head until it dies.

I am somewhat disturbed by my brutality towards this animal,
which causes me to abruptly become lucid. Yes! I fly toward the city, currently content with just exploring. But I become briefly distracted by a scene that I will not describe here.

I leave the distraction behind, somewhat annoyed at myself, and head further into the city. Alex suddenly catches up with me and asks what I'm doing. "I'm dreaming," I tell her, "so I guess I'm going to look for something fun to do." She asks if she can come with me and I agree.

The dream deteriorates when I run into my mom, and her pushiness makes me lose lucidity.

    5. November 22th - I raped her

      by , 11-23-2012 at 09:42 AM
I appear in another dream, I'm at a very familiar place, the place where I grew up. It's very sunny and some families are playing with their children. I'm on one of the more elevated places, in the middle of a patch of grass. I become lucid immediately, and I remain at the place. I think "Okay, I'm dreaming, this is a dream" "What do I feel? Can I feel my body" "What are the 5 senses again.. uhm... "okay, I can feel, can I see? What do I see?" This is when the ground randomly tries to eat me, I attempt to get up but I struggle. The ground has swallowed my legs, but I manage to get up. (this is actually weird for me, I rarely actually see my body)

I walk forward a few meters to tarmac and start spinning while I say "I'm dreaming, this is all just a dream" I stop spinning because I'm afraid if I continue it will collapse the dream.. It's very vivid, but still very far from being close to reality. I don't really hear anything, I can't really feel anything, no sun, no wind. I have absolutely no smell. But the visual part is on the better end, even though it's far from being reality. I can really only "focus" on one thing at a time, but the focused thing looks pretty real.

This is where I get bored and sexually attack a woman running after her child. I was actually questioning my choice at one point "Hmm, maybe I shouldn't, this is an inappropriate place" Then I realize I'm being naive and that this is all just a reality created by my brain. I pin her to the ground stomach down, take of her dress and penetrate her, although only the tip of my penis could get in, it was a lot more vivid than it has been before. At this point her upper body is completely gone. I didn't seem to mind, as I was beginning to lose lucidity and understanding of what was going on. I didn't really feel arousal or pleasure except for the excitement over being lucid. I see a white blurry cast over my vision and I lose the dream.

    6. November 21th - I'm not human in a futuristic city

      by , 11-23-2012 at 09:30 AM
This was a very exciting dream, and I wish I could remember more of it vividly. The dream starts on a very large rooftop, it's very sunny and vivid. I'm so high up on my rooftop I can't really see the buildings in detail but it's a huge futuristic city. There are a few sniper rifles to the left of me and I become lucid right away. I debate whether to take the guns and shoot at people randomly for the fun of it, or just jump off of the building because the scenery looks so delicious. I decide to jump of the building, I remember being very excited and yet a bit skeptical if I would survive, like jumping out of an airplane. I end up slowly falling down to the city completely amazed, it looked amazing and I felt amazing. I end up bouncing on a wall about 6-7 meters before hitting the ground.

      I'm not human.

I have some kind of special powers that allow me to jump unreasonably high (almost fly) and mutate my arms into weapons. It's like a game and I'm it's master. I'm still lucid and it's very vivid. I decide to just go with the flow of the dream, I beat up some cars for some reason and my weapon-arms are upgraded into chain saws. I feel no sense of danger, there are no hostiles anywhere and it's very sunny. I'm in the middle of the city, and for some reason I know I have to get to an apartment building as there will be some people there, this is where I lose lucidity. It's been maybe about 20 seconds or so, and this is also where I begin forgetting what happens. I jump across an almost tokyo-alike futuristic city, all the way to a very high broken apartment building, there is war, and we are its heroes. As soon as I enter I get a feeling of being very welcome and loved, I had people that depended on me and I had the will and know how to help them. Then the dream blurrs out.

    7. November 20th - I'm a rogue assassin & there are unfriendly gnomes

      by , 11-23-2012 at 09:26 AM
I'm on the side of the rode with a broken car, I don't know how to fix it, but I know that there's a tracker inside of it. There are two people there with me that I don't really know or recognize, but I get a feeling that they can be trusted and that they are my friends. We're outside of the car, we open up the hood and begin looking for the tracker inside of it, we've looked everywhere and I have a feeling it's inside the engine so we decide to abandon it.

I'm now inside a quite large house in the middle of very huge grass field, our car is outside. We have camera equipment and a lot of weapons, we're professionally trained. Somehow I'm told or get aware of the fact that the government is after us, and that we're rogue assassins trying to escape them.. I hear a military plane swoosh by and see 3 helicopters reel down a lot of hostile forces into the thick and high grass. I'm very excited and feel no sense of danger what so ever. I'm in front of the barn, laying on the ground with a weapon that reminds me of a sniper rifle seen in the movie "shooter".. I see two enemy combatants, and I aim at them and I shoot them. Although I never actually pull the trigger..

I see this as an opportunity to run through the high grass as I know that our building will soon be packed with hostiles.. I run into the grass and for a brief moment I think to myself "wait a minute.... This isn't the real world, I can just fly away from here, I'm dreaming. This is a joke" I fly at ground level, through the grass into a miniaturized forest filled with trees. At this point I've already forgotten it's a dream. I fly very rapidly (faster than the sound barrier) through the miniaturized forest and it's absolutely packed with trees, I see no natural light coming from on top of me and the trees can't be higher than 5 feet. I still realize I'm being chased, although still very excited now and a bit worried. I keep flying very very fast for about 20 seconds, then I turn and to look back and realize I've only gotten about 150 meters in, and I can still see natural light from where I just arrived, now I'm a little bit scared, realizing I'll probably be caught and killed although still excited.

I keep flying and try to get away but soon realize that there's no point, so I drop to the ground and it's now a swamp. I end up inside the swamp, below water the only exception being my head. Even though I'm inside the swamp, there's solid ground in my reach, but it's only about 10 centimeters thick, and I can feel the "solid ground" from below, I put my arms below the ground because it feels interesting. At the same time there's a white wan approaching, I can feel it's hostile. They're chasing and trying to look for me. I become lucid again, and realize I'm in a dream, although it has zero relevance as I can't actually change anything, and I have no control now. I grab the bottom of the solid ground, and I can feel some kind of spikes, I like it. So I grab the spiky thingy that reminds me of a ball, at the same time I'm curiously trying to find out what the wan is going to do. This is when a lot of small gnomes with funky hair appear (can't have been bigger than 30 centimeters) They're very rude to me, although they aren't a threat to me they are extremely annoying. This all happens in pretty fast as I'm still lucid, trying to wake up.. I have a false awakening, and then I wake up what felt like moments later.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I remember being with my friend Julia and my sister Sam. I think we were in front of my Dad's house, only we were in a neighborhood. (In real life it is secluded in the woods) Julia brought some sort of car with her. My step dad was here now, and he came up to us. Julia gave us something to put on. I want to say that they were glasses, but I'm not so sure. So i will say that they were. She gave them to me and I put them on. Apparently, it made you invisible and likely teleport to the dream world. I took them off for a second. I gave them to my step dad to see what it looked like for him to be invisible. He put them on, and slowly faded away. I put my hand to where he was. My hand was suddenly slowed to a stop as I tried to push my hand through "him". It was like pushing your hand through jelly. He took the glasses off and appeared. He was amazed.
Julia gave Sam some glasses too. My step dad left, and we all put then on. We both hopped onto the outside of the car (it now looked like a dune buggy) as Julia drove. She told us that she was going to show us something. As she was driving, a small tent appeared at the end if the driveway. She drove towards it and as soon as we came to it, the tent flap opened for us. She drove in.
The first thing we saw was some giant balloon animal to our right. Julia still driving on, we saw many things. We saw Dopey from Snow White dancing around us at one point (I thought he was a robot, but now that I think about it he may have been real), and we saw some ballerinas and ice skaters. I told myself that I would go back there again. When the tour was done, there were a lot of people in the lobby meeting the manager and other characters.
I suddenly realized I could be dreaming. I told Sam and Julia that I would be right back, and slipped away. I found a room with three mirrors in them. Now halfway lucid, I decided I would be brave and walk up to the mirror. Bracing myself, I walked up in front of it. And to my horror.. I looked and my feet looked like where my head should be and I was standing on my head. I looked in the other mirror. My jaw was shaped sort
of oddly but that's about it. The other one yielded the same results.
I decided to try to step through the mirror. Putting my hand up to the mirror, I imagined that the glass was water. Touching the glass, it felt cold, but like liquid. I pushed my hand through, only able to get half of my hand through before it stopped.
    9. Rollercoasters and REBMEVON

      by , 11-23-2012 at 04:00 AM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #32: Rollercoasters and REBMEVON

I'm in a bar confronting an 8-foot tall blonde man about why his biker gang threw rocks at me me in front of my parents' house. It's all too weird and soon I'm lucid. The dream feels really stable so I let him finish what he's saying before heading out the door. When I leave the bar, I discover that it's part of a closed-roof shopping center. I try to fly up to the 3rd story but end up floating horizontally across the floor. This time I try leaping off the floor instead. I overdo it, though, and blast all the way through the ceiling.

It's nighttime as I break through, and I fly high into the air, probably 1500-2000 feet up. The city is almost completely dark below me. I shout a grandiose, rather dorky "Let there be light!" and a wave of illumination bleeds over the city from bottom to top. I'm up very high so I see a lot of buildings passing by under me but I don't know what any of them are. For some reason, I think that I need to go back to my old school, so I say, "Show me the university." A group of buildings below starts to glow and I point myself toward it.

I swoop down toward the university buildings but rather than land, I transition immediately into a false awakening inside one of the dormitories. I'm in a small, virtually empty bedroom that I don't recognize. Vividness is very high now.

I step into the hallway and there's a girl sitting at a desk studying, her back to a screened window. She doesn't notice me, and I think about phasing through the window and escaping back out into the night. I try the phase and instead of feeling like I'm passing through liquid glass, my hand feels like it's ripping through a screen door. Shreddings of the screen are in my hand and the girl turns to look at me, saying, "What the hell are you doing?" I do the nose pinch reality check, a bit worried that I'm no longer dreaming.

She's making me feel embarrassed and self-conscious so I step into the next room to get away from her. This room's a study hall that has a narrow desk with hotel stationery and a white pen on it. The hotel stationery has indentations on it like somebody has written on it before. I can't see what the person wrote, but the indentations look similar to my own handwriting! The effect is so realistic that I nose pinch and finger-through-palm RC one after the other. I remember the Task of the Month (write "November" spelled backwards), so I sit down at the desk, grab the pen, and start writing. With vividness so high, my confidence is really solid. I immediately write down "REBMEVON" all the way through and the letters come out correctly (unlike last time.)

Satisfied, I get up from the desk and follow an exit sign through a double door. I stumble into a shabby bedroom where a mother, father, and school-age daughter are sleeping on scattered mattresses. The father wakes up and looks at me, bleary-eyed and displeased. "How'd you get in here?" I want to explain about the exit sign but instead decide to just get out of there. Another exit sign points me toward an external door, and I gladly slip out.

It's daytime now and I step out into a huge carnival that's been set up in a mall parking lot. The rides are elaborate, though, and more like what you'd see in an amusement park: things like rollercoasters and swing carousels. Lines of people are waiting for rides and it's inconvenient to get around on foot. I try to fly over these lines but I go too low and have to step on some heads as I pass. Some of the DCs shout or curse at me as I go.

I get up into the air and start circling around the swing carousel, flying alongside the riders. Most of the DCs ignore me but one lady keeps pointing and repeatedly saying, "Holy crap!" After making a couple of cycles, I decide that I want to go for the other advanced Task of the Month, bringing a soul back from Purgatory. I've envisioned it as being placed in the oceans of the southern hemisphere, where Dante put it. I use the sun to get my bearings and then fly south, heading over a Macy's. A blonde kid with dreadlocks looks up at me as I fly overhead
and the dream ends soon afterward.
    10. Mysterious girl, archers

      by , 11-22-2012 at 10:16 PM
Im not sure as to how I became lucid, but I guess lastnight I just did. Anyways, it began at a huge building. The top was open, and there was a very natural pool of water at one side. I was following a mysterious girl into the pool, to do.... well, lets just say "stuff". But something went wrong, she told me to hurry and get out. I vaguely remember water coming from the roof. I use my instinct and decided to fly out of this huge building and I left. I arrived at a plane of grass, over looking a gradually steep drop. I could see that there was a huge drop, but i couldn't see what was below it. I'm not sure, but I was alittle scared of flying that way, because it was such a large drop. (Fear of heights ^_^). I decided instead to turn around and fly towards a military base type structure. There were about a dozen building and I landed infront of the base. I began approaching 1 of the buildings and 2 things happened as I entered. 1.) I thought of a girl that i've been wanting to lucid dream about for awhile now, and 2.) I saw 3 archers, walking single file just outside the window. They were completely covered in leather armor and carried crossbows. But anyhow, I walked up to the girl and we exchanged a few words. We hugged and then the dream fades away...
Darnit! Maybe tonight I can attempt again to see her.
This wasn't a high level lucidity dream. But it was more on the low side.

    12. RV on the Road

by , 11-22-2012 at 05:40 PM (Second Reality Experiences)
I decided to take a nap in the afternoon and had a WILD.

      “Wake Up Nick!”

      “Wake Up”

My eyes open. It is very difficult to see anything. I am in a large and spacious RV. I was sleeping on a large plush sofa. I get up and feel around. I am at the front next to the driver. He looks to be late thirties maybe early forties. I put my hand on his shoulder.

      “Why is everything so blurry?”

“Blurry? Oh, eat the bread on the counter. It will help you out,” he points to a large French roll of bread in the kitchen area of the RV.

I claw a chunk with my hand and start eating. As soon as I do this things start clearing up a bit. For a moment everything looks perfect.
I walk to the back of the RV where the bathroom is and knock on the door. There is someone busy in there. I could hear her using the sink. The door opens and I see a beautiful blonde girl smiling back at me. She is wearing a slimming black dress and diamond earrings.

“Good you finally woke up,” she tells me, “Here put this on.”
She hands me a folded black tuxedo.

“Where are we going?” I ask.

“Well, we are going to meet my father. And I want you looking sharp.”

She smiles back at me again. Beautiful.

As she closes the door the dream fades out and I wake up back in bed. Sick as ever.

      by , 11-22-2012 at 05:22 PM
Last night was my first lucid after my break from LDing. Took me 6 days to accomplish, starting on 11/16/12. Basically involved me trying to summon people and flying but I didn't do any of them, I tried to fly but I just fell on the grass and it hurt..

      Night of 11/17/12

I am wandering around the dream world, just exploring and playing around with my dream powers. At one point, I am giving some DCs a tour of my dream map.

As I am walking, I look up in the sky and notice several missiles headed straight for us. I immediately flee from their path in great leaping bounds. After they've been detonated, one of my "crew members" tells me they were set off by a traitor.

I instantly call out the traitor and he begins chasing me and my informant. I run, thrilled to have some excitement. We are on the roof of a building; my informant tells me she cannot jump to the next roof. "It's too far!" she cries.

"No it's not," I tell her. "Just jump! You'll make it." I grab her hand and drag her along with me as I jump to the next building, making sure she lands safely on her feet.

Looking over my shoulder, I note that the traitor is in hot persuit. Okay, running time is over. "Stand back," I tell my companion as I draw a sword from thin air.

The traitor quickly approaches with a sword of his own. He is an excellent fighter, but I can see every move he is going to make and easily parry his attacks. Finally, I kick him off balance and hold him to the ground, keeping him in place as the rest of my crew comes to take him away.

    15. Nightmare Sequence

      by , 11-22-2012 at 03:41 PM (Death's Other Kingdom)
      Night of 11/8/12

I am standing in my room when I notice a small yellow jacket flying around. Great, how did a bee get in here? I am looking for something to smash it with, when suddenly a whole SWARM of bees is in the room, covering litterally every inch of the walls. Completely freaked out, I bolt from the room, screaming, swatting bees out of my hair.

Out in the hallway, I realize Alex (my roommate) is still in the room sleeping. "Alex!" I yell. "Alex! You'd better get out here before the bees sting you!" But as I look around the hallway, I notice to my extreme horror that it is also filled with bees! Is it a yellow jacket plague!? What do I do??? There is nowhere for me to walk without upsetting the swarm. I am so alarmed that I jolt into a false awakening.

Now I am standing beside my desk, telling Alex about my dream. Before I can get more than a few words out, however, she suddenly freaks out and points at my wall. There, is a small bee-like insect. "Don't worry," I tell her nervously, "that must have been what caused me to have the dream."

But as I get a closer look, I see that it is not a bee at all: it is a tiny demonic looking fairy wearing a gas mask. The fairy gives me a look that clearly says, "You'd better not tell anyone you saw me."

I immediately grab Alex and drag her out into the hallway to tell her what I saw. Out in the hallway, however, we are alarmed to find the massive swarm of yellow jackets! "This is just like my dream!" I shriek, before doing a reality check.

      No wonder. I'm still dreaming.

Another false awakening. Now, I am in the bathroom with Alex, Jake, Sadie (my cat), and Roxie (Jake's dog). Roxie turns into a clone of Sadie. They alternate between hissing at each other and rubbing against each other affectionately. "What's up with them?" I ask Jake.

"Oh, they do that all the time," he says nonchalantly.

I bend down to pet them. At first, they purr and lean into my hand. Then, Jake says, "And that's what demon cats do."

Suddenly, the cats become completely feral and tear up my arm. It hurts a bit, but it is also accompanyied by a feeling so terrible, a feeling of complete and utter horror, that I am once again jolted into a false awakening
      .

This time, I am lying in bed in my dark room. Freaked out, I instantly do a reality check and determine that I'm still dreaming. A dark skinned girl with long hair sits at the foot of my bed, holding my large HP Lovecraft book. She is rambling about aliens crawling through her ears to her brain. I instinctively know that she's about to enact some sort of dream torture upon me, and I'm screaming at her to go away. I am stuck in sleep paralysis, unable to defend myself.

As a last resort, I close my eyes and let the darkness wash the dream away. I'll wake up in a better dream, I'll wake up in a better dream, I think to myself frantically, but a feeling of utter terror has taken over the entire atmosphere, and I know the next dream will be worse than the last.

I struggle to get out of sleep paralysis and into the real world, but every time I open my eyes, the most terryfying figure is looming over me. He has incredibly long arms which are wrapped tightly around me, pulling me out of reality toward a worse nightmare. His face is the most twisted, demented thing I've ever seen, it can't even be described with words, and he's wearing a large top hat.

Knowing that it is just a dream does not protect me from the agonizing feelings that he is inflicting in me. I am still frantically struggling to wake myself up, but each time I pull myself from the paralysis enough to do a reality check, I am still dreaming!

After what seems like ages, I finally jolt awake, panting heavily. I am instantly annoyed with myself for breaking my most important rule: DON'T WAKE YOURSELF UP.
