      NON-LUCID LUCID

      Identification: (No. 73) Super-jump
      Time recorded: 8:00, 20-01-2012
      Genre: Adventure
      Character(s): Daniel D., Michael D.
      Method(s): Mantra
      Lucid: Yes (DILD)

I am standing at the mall with Daniel and Michael. There is an Asian mime here. As some Asian people and families walk past, the mime does something funny. An Italian woman comes to me, accompanied by her husband. She asks me (in very poor English) where to find a bathroom. I speak to her in Italian to get her to follow me. So the Italian woman, Daniel, Michael and I, head off to the nearest toilets. As we are walking across a gravel court, Daniel criticises me about my past pronunciation of an Italian word in the plural. We arrive at my primary school's oval. At this point I begin to doubt we have gone in the right direction. We go forward despite of this. We jump the fence and cross a long, arid area, until we arrive in a small town. The men there wear nothing but shorts, and have tattoos. Everyone lives in caravans or tents. When we arrive the people are gathered around a camp-fire, smoking drugs, so I take a different direction. I see a toilet block, and point it out to the Italian woman, who walks off to go to it.
We are now in a different area, there is a gate, trees, gravel ground and a wooden rail that goes around the edge of a cliff with a nice view of a forest. I remember that we have been here before, and tell Daniel that he should be filming this place. Daniel says there is no reason to, because he remembers it all... in his dream. I calmly, and blindly accept that this is a dream. Then Daniel questions why I am not reality checking. I become lucid. Firstly I think of what I should do. Daniel is yelling at me to fly. I try to fly, but I end up jumping a few meters off the ground. I try to land on the wooden side rail, but I miss and land before it. I feel that I am going to wake up, so I rub my hands together to keep the dream stable. Both Daniel and Michael are nagging to me, asking what I am doing. I try to ignore them and keep rubbing my hands. I place my hands on the wooden handrail and concentrate of the texture of the wood. I go back to rubbing my hands. I tell Michael to stop talking, who is still screaming at me, to tell him what I am doing. I then apologize to him. I keep rubbing my hands, but the constant distraction of Daniel and Michael is too great.

    2. Air-show in a bus

      by , 01-23-2012 at 08:26 AM
      NON-LUCID LUCID

      Identification: (No. 61) Air-show in a bus
      Time Recorded: 7:30, 02-01-012
      Genre: Sci-fi
      Character(s): Daniel D., Melanie O.
      Method(s): Not recorded
      Lucid: Yes (DILD)

Daniel and I are standing on the footpath beside the road that comes past our house. we see first a single flying speed-boat, then another, both had a loud engine roar. Next came an extremely large airship, powered by it's two very large (e.g. 1km wingspan) and powerful red wings. It had a very synchronised and strong down stroke. At this point it became apparent that we were watching a Japanese air-show. Next, a young, anamatronic Japanese girl walks past us, followed by another robot girl who was fatter. It stops and looks at me and tried to lean in to give me a kiss. I use my hands to push her away. As I do this, Melanie appears from behind Daniel, and says to me "did you just...?"
I find myself climbing up a rope in a place that is called 'hell'. The floor is red and there are flashing lights everywhere. I somehow know that the Japanese are responsible for the transformation of this place.
I believe I have just woken up from my sleep on the bus. Somehow I suspect that this is a false awakening. I urge myself to reality check, but before I get the chance I become lucid. I start to think about whether I'm going to wake up, and to my surprise I have remained asleep. I wonder what I should do. Because the dream still doesn't feel very realistic, I decide to try touching some objects. All I can think of is touching the glass window, so I lean my head against it - it is cold. I look at the bus driver and the sides of the bus. It still feels very unrealistic. I get the sensation that I am drooling, but I don't do anything about it because I fear a distraction might make me loose my lucidity. The bus stops and I get off. I go inside a shed with some people inside. I'm not sure why. but they are hanging large spiders (the size of dinner plates) up on the ceiling in two rows. At the end of each row are some dead apes, with their arms hanging down. Both men and women are picking out the largest spiders, and taking them down. I watch one lady unhook an ape and hold it's dead body.

    3. I can't drive

(Note: for this post and future posts, I will only be posting lucid dreams here. (Too time consuming otherwise)

      NON-LUCID LUCID

      Identification: (No. 8) I can't drive
Time Recorded: 7:30, Date not recorded (presumably 09-2010)
      Genre: Disaster
      Character(s): Mariella R.
Method(s): WBTB used before dream at 5:50. MILD Visualisation
      Lucid: Yes (DILD)

I am sick and spending most of the day in bed. I am watching T.V in bed, Grandma comes in with a computer. On the screen is one of my old illustrations scans of a nautiloid mollusk. She tells me that she thinks my illustration is ''very good''.
Later I decide I am going to drive to the hospital. I am in the back-seat of the car and the car is driving itself using the G.P.S for direction. After a while I notice the car started to be following a car infront of me, so I work out that that car must be going to the hospitol also. I climb into the front seat and take control of the steering wheel, I think it would be good practice for driving for when I get my driving licence. I keep following the car infront of me until we arrive at a gate that was partially opened. The car infront of me is slightly smaller and is able to scrape through, I realize my car is too big, so I am about to open the door so I can get out of the car and open the gate wider. The car rolls forwards and smashed the gate down. I quickly drive away and look behind me in the car. There is a policeman who is yelling ''we need to close down the road''.
At this moment I realise that I cannot drive, and therefore I must be dreaming!

    4. Spinning Hourglass (January 22, 2012)

by , 01-23-2012 at 12:58 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

      Spinning Hourglass

All that I could see was an hourglass in the middle of complete nothingness. It started to fill itself up with a blue liquid. All of the sudden I started hearing music and the hourglass started spinning rapidly. Then I started talking to myself.

"Somethings not right here. Everything here feels familiar.
      Oh yeah, I'm dreaming again."

I was completely bored now because there was nothing to do. My body wasn't even actually there. So I was stuck looking at the hourglass and listening to the music.

"Ahh this hurts! It's starting to give me a headache. Just wake up already!"

So then I woke up with my head pounding.

    5. A Simple Task, A Deadly Water Park (January 19, 2012)

by , 01-23-2012 at 12:37 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

      A Simple Task

It was the middle of the night and I was lying in my bed. I was having a ridiculous number of false awakenings that night. An invisible force knocked me out of my bed and onto the floor. When I looked up my dog was sitting on the top bunk. I realized there were two things wrong with that. 1. It would be impossible for him to jump that high. 2. I don't have a top bunk. I stood up and felt a familiar energy. I did the nose reality check. I couldn't breathe through. I tried it two more times and I still couldn't breathe through my nose. I then tried a different reality check by looking at my hand. I looked at my hand and it had a large hole in it like it had been stabbed. So of course I became lucid after seeing my hand was a bloody mess for no reason. I started rubbing my hands together and focus on my environment to stabilize. I think a few tricks I was using through out the night helped to boost my awareness.

I walked out my door and saw a plastic Mountain Dew bottle spinning and flying around all over the floor. My sister was there watching it and she didn't look too happy.

"Why is it spinning?!" She yelled out of confusion.
      "Because it's a dream." I said.
"Well make it stop, it's annoying." She demanded.
"I'm not doing it." I said laughing.

She got mad, went to her room, and slammed the door. The bottle was still spinning all over the place so I tapped it with my foot to make it stop. Out of nowhere I felt like going up to the fourth floor (even though we don't have one). I walked up the steps until I reached the attic. I saw the window and decided I was going to go for a fly. I concentrated on two points in my back and grew white dragon wings out of them. I then ran and crashed through the window. I fell a few feet before I started to flap my wings. I could have just levitated, but I seem to like the feeling of having wings more.

I was now flying over some neighborhood and didn't quite know what to do. I then saw a woman standing in the middle of the road. I felt like I was supposed to talk to her. I flew over to the street she was on and made a rough landing. I talked to her and she gave me a task. She told me to go into this one house and have sex with a girl. So I'm just going to say I went inside the house, had sex, and woke up.

      A Deadly Water Park

I'm having trouble remembering this one. I was at some sort of water park in the middle of a field. I remember I was there with Chris, the elf, and some old man. I at least remember the ending of the dream. Chris and the old man were inside some temple building talking about important stuff. While they were doing that, me and the elf were enjoying the water park. I walked over to a metal machine in the shape of a claw. It had a bunch of holes in it and it read "DON'T TOUCH, DON'T DIE".

"Don't touch, don't die..." I read out loud smiling.
"Don't you dare!" She said, knowing what I was thinking.
"This is just a dream. What's the worst that could happen?" I said reachin out my hand.

I poked the claw and it instantly blasted a huge wave of water at us. It flooded the area for 5 seconds before we were lying on dry land again. Despite the warning, we were still alive.

"That didn't kill us!" I said laughing.
      "I hate you." She said.

I then woke up from laughing too much.

      End

    6. Loksi's Lucid Dreams

      by , 01-23-2012 at 12:18 AM
I'm just starting this DJ, so I want to bring up a few events that happened the past week.

      A few days ago

I woke up in the middle of the night, and went back to bed. Within the first few seconds of the dream, I realize I'm lucid (simply because I had JUST gone back to bed, this didn't happen long after) I'm in front of my church with this "odd" kid from my school named Thomas. I don't think this was a WILD as I didn't experience SP (consciously, that is) nor hypnagogic hallucinations. However, as soon as I realized I was in the dream, I had an instant urge to do something. The very first thing that came to mind was a large ball/meteorite crashing into a nearby car. Anyway, as soon as I made this ball appear, I heard voices, more so whispers, from all around me. It sounded like there were 20 of them (Not exactly, but quite a few) The only whisper I could distinctively hear was say "All over me." During these whispers, everything became INSANELY vivid , like it was real life, and I could feel my mind focusing on the dream. Once the ball finally hit (about 5 seconds after the dream began) The voices stopped. The dream instantly faded to black and I woke up.

      Yesterday night

I'm standing up in an aisle of a bus full of my classmates. The bus starts going steeply downhill until it was pointed straight down ( I wasn't falling ) It then got to the bottom of the hill, where it returned to start going straight up. At this point, I realize I'm dreaming as this isn't possible. My dream instantly starts to fade. In panic, I yell "STAY LUCID." It works for only a few seconds, so I say it again. It again works for only a few seconds. For some reason, I thought the (now vertical) bus was causing me to lose lucidity. I had a sudden urge to exit through the back of the moving bus to stay lucid. I see Joey on my way back. I almost completely lost lucidity now, so I say "Stay lucid" once more and start spinning around. I'm in but only for a few seconds, I time frame just enough to get out of the bus. I see Bailey at the very back of the bus, beside me when I open the door. I open the door, and through the door looks like a pathway to an entrance of a mall. I lose lucidity and wake up right before I start to pass through.

      Last night

This one isn't lucid, but it's important enough to share.

I'm playing a game, I'm almost positive it was Fable 3. I was moving the character without a controller, and without a television for that matter. Once I know it, I'm the main character of the game (seeing first person now instead of third) and I go to these rocks where I see a friend (I don't remember what he looked like, but it was a boy) He was sitting on a rock upon this tall mountain with a great view. I sit on the rock beside him (They are big rocks) I see a slug in a crevice between the rock, and one right night to my friend (I had thought about slugs the previous day) I have an urge to put my (bare) feet on the slug next to my friend. I don't remember what it looked like, but I do remember feeling an intense pain of it "attacking" me, I suppose. I don't remember what happens next, but there is a time period before this next part happens.

I'm now back in third person. The only thing I could feel was my feet (In the game) When I run on rocks, it would, per se, feel like I was running on rocks. Same with water and the such. I wake up in the dream (false awakening) and I remember going to my computer and asking a question on Yahoo Answers. My logical mind wasn't working, as I was dreaming I asked something along the lines of "Why can I ONLY feel the characters feet of a video game when I am dreaming?"

After a few moments of waiting, I refresh the page. I have an answer. It was slightly long. I started reading "Dreams are like stories for your mind" --- I wake up instantly, in real life this time, with a VERY bright light shining in my eyes. I don't know how, but about 2 loud moans escape my closed lips and 2 quieter ones. The light fades within about 3 seconds and I have sleep paralysis and my whole room is spinning. It shortly stops.

    7. 1st Lucidty (took 2 weeks)

      by , 01-23-2012 at 12:00 AM
i had a bath and i lie down in my towel. i fall asleep.
i'm in school wwalking down a corridor with three of my friends. some kid i know walks down and gives me my towel.(the one i had on as i am sleeping) i wrap it round my waist and walk out.

Its suddenly really dark. Another two friends are running around randomnly.
One of the original free friends tell me i'm naked. all i have is my towel(reflects my actual physical state) then everyone leaves and it dark.
Scene changes and im outside the school and its bright and its from a different perspective.i see my two friends who were running around randomnly enter the school through a side door just as i come out with my three ffriends through the main door but then they pop infront of me. This time its still bright.
schocked and talking to someone next to me i say
"Wait i wanna see that again"
The world rewinds and i re-watch.

i start to notice the oddness of the world and realize i'm dreaming. I am completely stable. I attempt to fly and soar up but i cannot move ina direction. A strong wind pushes me into the wall of the school. i cant lower myself.
I realize i need to wake up to get ready as i have no idea how much time as passed.
(i read somewhere blinking wakes you up)
I continously blink but do not wake up, instead i try to use my voice(my real voice not in the dream)
after 2-3 attempts i hear my own voice croak "help"and i wake up.

I awake in my towel with complete memory of my dream.
    8. Another Lucid

by , 01-22-2012 at 10:32 PM (My Wapped Dreamscape)
Most of the dream is very hazy, I remember getting up from bed and hearing 'Old Harrys Game' (I had gone to sleep listening to it on my MP3 player) playing loudly and frantically trying unsuccessfully to switch the radio off, worried that it would wake up my dad who was in the room with me (Not sure what this is about except that he died less than a year ago and birthday would have been now, so maybe playing on my mind).
Next thing, I woke up again in my bedroom, still could hear 'Old Harrys Game', but realised I was dreaming. I sank through the floor and as an experiment, decided to allow myself to sink through the floor of the downstairs room. As I floated down, I could see the garden at night through the kitchen window, however I stopped sinking when I reached the floor so as an experiment, I decided to push off using the wall and float through the window, As I was going throu I woke up.
I needed the toilet so got out of bed to go to the loo. I tried the light which didn't switch on, confirming my susspicion the I was still dreaming. I took a look at myself in the mirror and as I stared at my reflexion, my face seemed to be melting or distorting in the way it does in high gravity with my cheeks and eyelids sagging. At this point I really did wake up.

      1. I was on mars, everything around me was covered in red dust. I was with my good friend O.DS along with some other people I didn’t know. We turned around to see the mouth to a cave and since there seemed to be some kind of storm coming we went in. The cave was well lit with several torches on the walls and as time passed the storm died down. I decided to leave but for some reason I told my friend to stay, as I walked away she started to cry and saying “don’t go” between sobs. I ignored her and walked across what looked like a bed of nails, surprisingly my feet stayed on top and I felt no pain. I looked back one last time to see my friend bawling her eyes out and pretty much screaming my name through her tears. I turned away and left the cave appearing once more on the surface of mars. (Full Dream- 1 point)
(I felt like a complete monster when I woke up, I was a bit upset. I’d never do that to any of my friends.)

      2. I was sat underneath some kind of shelf and there were cardboard boxes all around me. To my left one of the boxes was missing leaving a small window of which I could see out of. I looked out and I was in a isle of a warehouse, the lighting was not good but I could just make out a small robot next to me in the isle. A silhouette appeared a little way off and told me to give the robot a sample, I put a bit of food on my finger and nervously held it out to the robot. I said to the man that I didn’t really trust any robots as the robot extended one of it’s arms. The arm had what looked like a pin on the end, it hovered over my finger before carefully lowering the end of the pin into the small splodge of food I’d put there. He asked me why I didn’t trust robots, I can’t remember what I said but then the dream ended.(Full Dream- 1 point)

      3. I was in a front garden and again walking on a bed of nails, again I didn’t feel any pain. There was this black cat that kept running in front of me, so I put up a small white fence to stop it. The fence looked freshly painted and looked about 2 foot in height, I looked at the cat almost daring it to try, and sure enough the cat jumped proudly over the fence. Then the dream ended.(Full Dream- 1 point)

      4. My lucid! I was alone and everything around me was black, I was stood on nothingness and there was nothingness all around. I knew instantly that I was dreaming and very soon after the dream faded to black and I woke up. I think this is because I was near waking up anyway. ???(Lucid- 5 points)???

it doesn't get much senseless than this...-assassins-creed-2.jpg

The dream started in some weird looking area in the woods, and there were a few stone houses around me. So already i kind of felt weird because if something was built from stone, that meant the dream was set in the past, or i was in some historical place.
it doesn't get much senseless than this...-ancientstonehomedali.jpg

At first i was just observing the area in 3rd person. It took me a while to realize that the person i was observing in the dream was Elzio; the main character from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. (This is probably due to the fact that i was playing that game last night.)

Once i realized that, i started to notice a lot more. And many DC's started to appear. I saw a bunch of female assassin's who were apart of my Brotherhood, then it was like i had a vision of more assassin's who were our enemies coming towards us. When i turned around, my enemies were fighting all of my assassin's. For a while i just watched, until our enemies started losing and they began to flee. I walked over to one of the female assassin's and told her to kill their leader, because my gun was out of bullets. She did, and i just continued to tell my guild who to kill and how. (Just like in the game lol)

After that i just started looking around, and after all that, it finally hit me that this was like a scene straight out of Assassin's Creed.
it doesn't get much senseless than this...-combat.jpg
I did two RC's. I plugged my nose, and i did the "see if you can hover" RC. Both of them worked and i shouted out...

      "Oh shit....i'm dreaming!"

But i quickly remembered some of the things that i had read about lucid dreaming mistakes, and one of the biggest ones is to get too excited. Because you'll wake yourself up. Which is what i did the other two times i became lucid -_-.

So i calmed myself down, and just tried to think of things to do that wouldn't be too crazy. I couldn't really think of anything at the moment, it may have just been because the dream wasn't very meaningful. So i just kept doing the hover thing over and over. I was trying to restrain myself from flying, because i figured i wasn't lucid enough and it'd just wake me up. But i said fuck it, and did it anyway.

I began to fly over the woods, and the dreamscape began to change. The woods started to fade away, and i started trying to create the clouds around me, mountains under me, etc.

After a while i landed. Somehow i was right back in the woods in the same area. One of the female assassin's came up to me, and began talking to me. I don't remember what she said, i just remember she was sexy as hell.
it doesn't get much senseless than this...-742174-bigthumbnail.jpg
I wanted to have sex with her in the dream, but i figured i wasn't lucid enough for that, and it'd wake me up....well, just like flying i said fuck it. I took her into the stone house and we had sex. You don't need all the details lol.

Then i went back outside, and as crazy as this sounds...i was kind of bored. So the dream started to fade and i woke up.

    11. Morning sky of rapid repatriation

      by , 01-22-2012 at 07:21 PM
      Dream: January 21, 2012

In the dream, this occurred between 1 am and 3 am. It was probably a bit later in waking life, though, as my dreams always occur in the morning hours.

It ended with sleep paralysis, or maybe it began.

Either way, this was my first episode of paralysis since November. It was night in my dream, morning in waking life, and I felt smothered by my sinus infection and the pillow. Lying down, as I was the previous time. Maybe this time I woke up, or went back to sleep, or woke up. I guess I will never know. Tried to move some of my appendages, but it was late.

At my house, my parents were preparing to leave. Yet I was out of bed, wide awake, past midnight. One of them would accompany the other to another country, as they loaded and packed up the car to go to Detroit (facade?). Something earlier happened too, but the details of that were now missing. I had a cell phone, and they had a cell phone.

About an hour passed, then half an hour. I took some baking soda, and did a line in the fridge, preserving something that would otherwise rot if the power went out. No idea why I did that, but it was suiting.

Picked up my cell phone, either to make a call or receieve one. My mom was on the phone, though it was difficult to hear, probably because of the great distance. The voice was becoming more static, and fading.

Just staring at the wall, none of it made any sense.

I looked at the time. 2:32, 2:34, 2:38. How much more time would pass, me sitting here, alone?

I knocked on my parents' door, as it was closed. They opened it, and were still inside the room. "But weren't you just driving to the airport?"

      "No".

"But what about the cell phone?!"

That was weird. They were also disappointed about the baking soda, as I headed to bed, and they began to argue.

Outside, the sky had a purple glow, and the streetlights were orange. I had tried to close my eyes, run into the window, because I knew it was a dream at that point. Yet however close I was to pronouncing it a dream, I just couldn't convince myself, for I was unable to escape through that window. There was an extra tree in the street, too, a sure sign that it was a dream.

I ran again, and they just kept arguing. Waking up, they were still arguing about some of the same things as during my dream, as I drited in and out of sleep on a weekend morning.
    12. Long, Fun Lucid with Swimming and a TotM Attempt

by , 01-22-2012 at 06:46 PM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm walking around on the ground floor of a large, three-story shopping mall. The interior is a very bright, airy space, with white walls and a glass ceiling through which the sun shines. While I'm walking along, the realization suddenly hits me: This is a dream! I'm so shocked that the scene around me immediately starts to become less clear, filling up with gray pixels that multiply quickly [they look a lot like static on an analog TV], just like it always does when my dreams start to destabilize. Oh, dammit! I think. I immediately drop to my hands and knees on the tile floor, focusing on touching the floor and on staying focused on the scene around me, and thinking reassuring thoughts to myself: It's okay. It's okay. In 30 seconds or so, the scene is clear and stable again. I get up and start walking again, exploring the place I'm in.

As I look around me, I look up at the ceiling, three stories above me, to see winter greenery with ornaments on it and big, shiny bells in red, gold, and green lined up in a recessed space just below the edge of the ceiling. “They haven't even taken down all their Christmas decorations yet,” I remark. I find that I've come upon the entrance to a vacant department store, currently being used as a storage space for the Christmas decorations that have been taken down. Among other things, there is a large, haphazard pile of blue and white styrofoam wreaths. There's no gate or other barrier to entry across the entrance to the store, so I spontaneously decide to jump into the pile of wreaths as if they were dry leaves. It's fun! Some of them break, and I just say, “It's my dream world, and I'll destroy the wreaths if I want to.”

When I get up, I wonder what's on the floor above me, and I decide to explore it. I look to the side and see that there's a side entrance to the department store, and there's a flight of stairs outside that entrance, which I can see through the window. I could take them, but it would be quicker, easier, and cooler to just levitate myself through the ceiling above me, so I decide to do that. I close my eyes and, with an act of will, start rising upward.

[Note: I don't really remember where in the sequence the following two paragraphs went, but I'm sure I was lucid, so I put them here.]

Now I'm in a big, industrial-looking building complex with multiple floors, walkways, and sets of stairs running through the vast interior space. It's dark inside; all the walls and floors are black or dark gray, and there aren't very many lights. This area is [somehow] part of the Star Wars galaxy. As I wander around here, I can hear a dialogue between a post-redemption Darth Vader [he's still speaking in the James Earl Jones voice, though] and some other random character. The other character addresses Vader as “Rash,” apparently using it as a first name. Vader, offended by this, replies: “Rash?! I may have acted rashly, but my name is Anakin.” I smile.

[Somewhere in here,] I meet and interact with another young woman about my age. She leads me on a walk through the area, talking to me. Our walk ends at a spot overlooking a view of a natural, green valley. Then, she says something like, “Instead of waiting around for them to break your heart, like I did, go out and grab hold of what you want.” I wonder if this is my best self giving me advice.

When I open my eyes again after a scene transition
[which I'm pretty sure I remember being the levitation one mentioned above, but again, I don't remember in what order the above two scenes happened], I'm standing on the second floor of a building, overlooking a very beautiful view. There is a clear, sparkling swimming pool in front of me, but it's big enough to be a small lake and wraps around three sides of a tall, stucco community clubhouse building with a red tile roof. The pool is in a park, surrounded by green grass and trees. Off to the left is a street, on the other side of which are houses that match the style of the clubhouse. The scene is so beautiful that I exclaim, “Man, I wish I could take pictures!” ...So I could post them on DreamViews to show everyone! is the thought behind that remark.

I decide to go swimming. The tower I'm in has exterior stairs on the side facing the pool. I start going down the stairs. As I do, I pass a window and look at my reflection in it. I'm pleased to see that I'm already wearing a swimsuit, a fact which I attribute to my decision to go swimming. My face looks completely normal. I try smiling, but my reflection stays the same for a moment, then returns a crooked smile, using only one side of its mouth. 'Cause it's a dream mirror, not a real one, I think. It doesn't work like a real one would.

I walk to the side of the pool and jump right into the deep water
[something I don't usually do in real life, because I suck at swimming]. It feels wet. I swim around on the surface of the water much more easily than in real life, enjoying the experience. Several times, I lower my head so that my nose is under the water and enjoy the fact that I can still breathe normally. I want to swim completely underwater and open my eyes, but I don't, because I have the very realistic sensation of having water in my right eye, forcing me to keep it closed.

Other people are swimming in the pool. We hang out and talk a little. After a while, I get out and keep exploring the park I'm in.

In another area of the park, there are a series of big pieces of plastic playground equipment, white with pastel accents, with a miniature golf course built around and through them. I start climbing the largest one, using the metal handles and small platforms built into the structure to climb. This climbing route goes up toward the main body of the play structure in an arc, and each foothold is only supported by a single column or bar, so it looks like there's mostly open space below you, and you can see exactly how far you are off the ground. I'm not afraid at all, though, because I know it's a dream and I can't get hurt.

Just as I reach the main body of the play structure, the memory of the current Task of the Month suddenly hits me: set off fireworks in a crowded place and record how the people there reacted. I recall how other DV members have done it. I slide down the slide that's in front of me, determined to complete the task.

Not far from the play equipment, some people are beginning to gather at some tables for a picnic. I start trying to obtain a firecracker
[because that's what several other DV members used]. I reach behind my back and try to make one appear there, but it doesn't work. I try looking around corners in the scene and expecting one to be there, but that doesn't work either. I really suck at summoning things, I think. Then I think of another approach: find an existing object and transform it.

On the ground, under a tree a few yards from the picnic area, I find the pointy half of a broken-in-half yellow pencil. I pick it up and sandwich it between my two cupped hands, focusing my will on it and willing it to turn into a firecracker. When I open my hands, it has swollen up and gotten round and puffy in the middle.

All the picnic tables are now full of people, and I see that some of them have their marching band instruments with them, which makes me realize that they're a marching band. I see at least one trombone in the group. I stand a couple of yards back from one of the tables and throw my pencil at the group of people. It hits the center of the table and explodes with a loud crack. No one takes any particular notice
[at least, not that I can recall]. When I retrieve the pencil, the lead has shot out of the tip and gone limp, like a piece of spaghetti. I decide to continue in my search for a firecracker.

I end up walking through the halls of a dusty building that resembles my section of the university library where I used to work. I continue trying to summon a firecracker or firework by expecting one to be there when I look around a corner or into a room, but it still doesn't work. In one storage room full of random stuff, I hear a hissing sound that I think is the sound of a firework fuse burning at first, but then I realize it's the sound of the small air blower on a strange, old machine that is running in the middle of the floor. I continue searching this room for a firework,
but I woke up in the middle of my search.
    13. 59th Shared Dream Attempt - Windhover

      Windhover's Dream

dream 1 - I rode a snowboard down a snowy hill. someone instructed me. I twist my wait to turn, sliding down in S path. (I've never did snowbaaording IRL)

dream 2 - I was Panty from anime PSG.(the left one in the picture) I think I imagined myself to be Panty; I was semi-lucid. I also imagined the train scene in episode 2 to have awesome action
I was on the head of the train and there was Stocking driving See-thru(car) behind me. Stocking was also swishing her sword to fight the train. the train was running so fast I slipped many times. I fell back of the train, I had to run towards the front, shouting 'you idiot!!(in Korean)'. the train was green, not red. I stood back and got into See-thru. then I remembered using Chuck as a 'elastic rubber-band(?)' so I imagined me hanging on Chuck...at this moment the dream got unstable. I held onto Chuck...and his mouth(?) got stuck on See-thru and his body got really long + stretchy, just like in anime!!!! then I got pulled up to the head of the train, and jumped on the window shield of the front; SLAM!!
      haha...xD

I summoned Panty's backlace gun and BLAM! shot the train head. BOOOOOOOOM........(just like in the picture below)

I dont recall at this moment.. anyway, I was with Stocking at some kind of port. (I'm still Panty) There was a floating Italian restaurant on the sea, so we went there to eat something. I ate pizza. I asked Stocking if she ever went to Italy. She said "yeah, I went to Milano once." suddenly a man near me grabbed my arm not to go. I got scared and looked for Stocking. She was nowhere. and then I realized that she was swimming under the restaurant.....wtf?!? I also don't recall here. Stocking and I finally got out the restaurant and we went to some kind of hotel and rested in a room. I said something with a feeling of tiredness...my voice was exactly like Panty's.

dream 3 - and then I woke up from Panty and Stocking dream. I visualized Frosted Flake box randomly, and I was in the mall with bunch of cereal boxes. I realized that this was lucid dream, so I looked for my favorite snack(home run ball) and ate some of it. then I wanted to eat chocolate...so I went to the counter and found dark chocolate piece. I ate it but it didnt taste like real chocolate IRL. near the counter, I found iron bars that seemed like good place for parkour, so I ran and umped onto it, and I slid down. there were several boys doing parkour. I did monkey vault (I'm not good at this vault so I did this). my body was so light. and I jumped over the bar and flew away...

I don't remember much, because I woke up and went back to sleep after, so the memory is minimal, but I'm almost positive it happened!

      DILD Without Trying
I'm lying in my bed when I just randomly remember to do a reality check. I count my fingers, (I don't remember the results) pinch my nose and breathe... hold the phone... Try again. and again. I'm dreaming! I rub my hands together as that's supposed to help make things vivid. Didn't work, I get up and try to spin. But alas, that is where I lose memory. I must have either gone non-lucid or just forgot. But now I know I can do it!

    15. The Cave and the Sun

      by , 01-22-2012 at 06:04 AM
1-21-12 (non-lucid/lucid) I was in a giant cave, and waking in a deep ravine. The stone was a dark grey and looked like there was water running down it. Then further ahead I noticed a sudden drop into the darkness below. I couldn't see the bottom since there was mist, which made me more than a bit nervous. Without knowing exactly what I was doing I reached out my hand and a platform appeared, I glided over to it, but it wasn't enough to get me onto the platform, just the side of it, I tried scrambling up the side, but it seemed to be made of some sort of soft rock, like graphite, after I used claws and kicked at the rock with my legs I managed to heave myself onto the platform. I got over to the other side and got to my home. It was in a guild I had apparently left and hadn't been seen there for a while. The only thing I remember from being gone from the guild was a home far away from the guild at another part of the cave system. I tread in and found my old home. I saw that pretty much the whole town coming to visit so I ran into my house and ran through a series of doors until I suddenly realized I was dreaming and before I went through the next door I thought of a ballroom. Then I opened the door and immediately looked to my right. Rajin stood next to a railing to the right, and it was my DG this time, not a random, DC. I looked at the rest of the ballroom, which was beautiful. The walls and ceiling were a shining white color and so were the railings and stairs. On the other side was another platform and door. The floor on the main area was a checkerboard pattern, black and white and the dancing area was burgundy color velvet. I looked at Rajin. He was wearing a Victorian looking suit and a bright red shirt underneath it. I barely caught a faint smile. I walked up to him and put my hand on his chest and kissed him. I tasted blood and vanilla and my dream started fading, so I looked at my hands and clapped, to bring the dream back. He wanted to dance, but I told him I didn’t want to until I found my dress. I ran over to the other side of the door and walked into a very small cylinder, like room, and Rajin told me to improvise so I created a staircase. I walked up to the top and there was a sudden drop. He told me to jump. I trusted him and jumped and as I jumped the dream changed and I hit the ground and felt a snap in my neck. I stood up and righted my neck, I heard a few cracks, but felt nothing. Rajin jumped down and landed on his feet, that smug bastard. Then I walked out into the sun. It’s the first time I can ever remember seeing the sun in my dreams. It was beautiful. The sky wasn’t overly bright, but not too dark, like right when the sun is starting to go down and I was in a wheat field. Maybe he meant for me to see this the whole time. So, being joyful of seeing the sun the first time in dreams I spun around and started running and spinning some more and skipping and I got farther and farther away from Rajin and I woke up.
