Lucid Dreams
DreamLucidAwake More dragon stuff and I'm happy with that. Some interesting things happened in this dream that made it the best lucid I've had to date. Not all was perfect though. Dragon Taming I don't remember anything from before I became lucid (if there was anything). It was a bright day and I was in a small river valley. I water was shallow and you could see beautiful colored rocks below the water. There were small trees growing in the water along the rivers path. I was lucid and taking joy in the ability to perform nearly impossible parkour techniques. I was jumping from tree to tree and trying to avoid the water as much as possible. There isn't much to say about it other than there was a lot of flipping and precision jumping. The freedom felt amazing. The last few jumps were the best. I jumped from one tree to the one in front of me and I spun around to the other side of it. I then jumped over to a large rock and jumped off of that onto a very high tree. I leaped off of this tree before I realized that there's nothing to jump to. Although I fell from a great hight, I was okay because I did a roll. Now my goal was to get to the top of the cliff in front of me and out of the valley. I saw a crevice that I could wall jump on next to the waterfall. I ran straight towards it, but then I stopped when I saw a spiked wall to the left of it. The wall shot out and just barely missed me. I ran past the wall and into the crevice as the trap slowly reset itself. I then wall jumped all the way to the top. I even slid all the way back down right after just to do it again. At the top was a great mansion that the river flowed around. I entered the mansion through the back door which led to my bedroom. I opened my bedroom door and everything looked like a mansion again. It was mostly empty though as if it had just been bought. I thought my family was in there somewhere and I had to ask my mother something. I searched a few nearby rooms, but I found no one. I then returned to the main hall where I saw my aunt looking outside through the wide open doors. "Is mom here?" I asked her. "Your parents left." She said. "Where are they?" I asked. "Just head north and you'll find them." She said. "Okay, which way is north?" I asked while looking for a compas. She pointed outside and said, "That way. Just past the mountains." Before I went outside, I felt like exploring one more room. It was a living room that actually had furniture and stuff in it. This is when I realized I never stabilized. I started rubbing my hands together and noticed I had a glove on my right hand. It felt pretty real and the dream started to become more vivid than it already was. Suddenly I remembered hearing something about stabilizing by licking things. I licked my glove and it tasted like any other glove. I saw a glass table in front of me and then decided to try licking it. After I licked it there was a disgusting taste in my mouth. I looked at the table and saw that there was a yellow slime on it. I then spent the next 30 seconds scraping off my tounge and spitting the taste out. The dream became almost as vivid as real life, but I still wish I hadn't licked the table. I then went outside to start my journey. The path looked like it would require me to go a long way east to go around the mountains. There were also mountains to the east though, so I figured it wouldn't be a favorable road. I thought about flying over the mountains, but I really just don't like standard flying in dreams. I kind of got distracted from my goal here and remembered my draconic roar. I figured that since I was still knew to it, I should practice it and try to make it stronger. I did at least five roars and each one was much louder than the ones from previous dreams. It was like the Lion King with the volume at 100. Most of my roars were just aimed into the sky where they wouldn't have an effect on anything. My last roar though, I looked at a tree, took a deep breath, and made an amazing sounding roar. It also instantly blasted the tree in two, which I thought was just great. I then remembered that I needed to get over the mountains, and at the same time remembered that I'm Dragonborn. So I figured I could just fly a dragon. I looked towards the mountains to the east and held my hands out. "Summon dragons!" I commanded. I then saw a baby ice dragon and a baby earth dragon fly out from behind the mountains. I also saw the image of a giant (mountain size) earth dragon in the distance, but it didn't move. The two baby dragons started playing together in the air for a little bit before they finally landed in front of me. I reached out my hand and moved slowly towards the white one. "Hey buddy!" I said as I moved towards it. The two dragons started to back away from me. "Don't be scared, it's okay." I said trying to calm them. As I moved closer into their space, they started to become aggressive. "No, no, I'm friendly! See?" I said holding my hand out to it. "Oh shit!" I yelled as tried to bite me. The ice dragon nearly bit my arm and the two of them were starting to growl at me. If I were to make one more attempt they would tear me to shreds in seconds. I guess baby dragons are just more timid and aggressive. It's not like I could fight against them though. You don't hurt the creature you're trying to befriend. Then an idea hit me. Summon a teacher! For some reason I'm just no good at summoning people, but I'm really good at summoning dragons. So what if I summoned a dragon with a person riding it? I held my hand out and looked towards the mountains again. "Summon dragon tamer!" I commanded. I waited a few seconds before seeing a figure come out from behind the mountain. A fire dragon with a man on it then appeared next to me. The man was dressed in a funny outfit that reminded me a lot of the squire from many dreams ago. "How do I tame one of these dragons?" I asked him. "With a ball." He said. "A ball...?" I said confused. "You can use it to distract them long enough to get close and make friends with them." He explained to me. He then pulled out a yellow ball that got the green dragon's attention. He tossed it and the dragon caught it and started to happily play with it. He then moved in close to it and started petting the dragon. It worked, and he had made the dragon his pet. The dragon tamer handed me the yellow ball and told me to try. I looked towards the white dragon, but it got scared and started running down the road. Naturally, I chased after it. When the dragon realized I was chasing it, it started to fly low to the ground. Then there were fences and walls in my way, but I managed to jump and flip over them. The dragon was starting to tire as chase went on, but my dad woke me up before the end. End If the dragons weren't so timid I think this would have been the perfect lucid dream. I feel like I did learn something from all this though. Only problem is I don't care enough at the moment to figure that out.
DreamLucidAwake I felt like this dream should have been recorded, but it became fragmented after a couple days. I can't remember any of the before lucid stuff. Healing Potion Quest I was inside my grandmother's house at the front door. There was a female elf laying there, who may or may not be the same one from my last entry. She was in pain and dying after being attacked by either me or something else. I can't remember. She mentioned something about finding a healing potion. Healing potions are always in a vial full of a red liquid for no reason at all. So I kept that in mind as I searched the house. I started in the living room and looked among the tables and shelves. I found a scented red candle sitting on a shelf. I figured it was a potion because it was something red inside a glass and smelled interesting. I ran back to the girl with the candle and smashed it onto the ground next to her. "That's a candle..." She mumbled. "Damn it." I said, realizing how stupid it was to both pick a candle and to smash it. "Okay, don't move. I'll check the bedroom!" I told her. I ran about half way down the hallway before I heard a scream. I ran back to her and saw about three goblins with spears surrounding her. They got a few swipes in before I jumped between them and the elf. I grabbed the goblin to the right and smashed it into the middle one. Surprisingly that's all it took to kill them. The one to the left then made a jump towards me. I kicked it as hard as I could and it flew across the room and hit the wall. This one made an attempt to get back up. I finished it off with my draconic roar that blasted the goblin into the wall. I learned that my roar has a secondary effect. It released some sort of pressure wave that left the room in a mess. I was impressed by that. My attention quickly went back to the elf. She looked like she would only last a minute at best before bleeding out. I then got an idea to summon a potion. I told myself, "There's a potion in the fridge." I then ran into the kitchen and saw an empty vial sitting on the counter. I took it and then opened the fridge. I found a lone pitcher full of a red liquid inside. I poured it into the vial and swished it around a little. I ran back to the girl as quick as I could. Sadly I was too late though. She died just as I crouched in front of her. The dream ended after I said a few sad things. End This is the second time someone has died when I could have easily saved them. I seriously need to unlock my healing magic.
DreamLucidAwake Haven't wrote in my journal lately because I was busy with holiday stuff and generally unmotivated. This dream is important to me because I learned two very useful abilities. Dragonborn Magic I can't remember much of anything from before I became lucid. It was night time and I was in a field. There were also grey clouds in the sky and it was starting to snow. I was by myself and surrounded by a low fence that was generating a force field. Chris and some other guy were in another one not too far away. They were fighting with a woman, who was an elf, and casting spells at each other. So now my current goal was to figure out how to get out of the force field and help them. At this point I became lucid. I put my hands up in the air and kept making a throwing motion. I was attempting to cast a magic missle spell, but I just couldn't get it to work. I don't think I was really focusing on the spell enough. After trying at least 10 times I gave up and something interesting happened. "Why isn't it working?!" I asked myself. It frustrated me because I was doing the exact same thing the other three were doing. Instinct suddenly started to take over like it did when I first used time control. I jumped into the air and roared loudly. A powerful wave of blue energy came out of the roar and blasted through the force field like it was nothing. I noticed that the others were now fighting in the center of the field and regained complete control of my actions again. I jumped over the fence and then noticed my dog standing in front of me. She started to push me as I rubbed my hands together. After I had won the fight with her over stabilization, returned my focus to the fight. Instinct kind of took over again and I held my hands out flat while looking into the distance. I shouted, "Summon Ice Dragon!" A few seconds later I saw a shadowed figure flying out of the fog. The dragon flew very fast and was able to reach me in only about 10 seconds. It was full grown and looked very tame. I made a few steps forwards in an attempt to mount it. My dog tackled me before I could even touch the dragon and I woke up. End I learned the draconic roar and how to summon dragons. I feel like this is related to the dream I had where the old man told me I was Dragonborn. I wonder if I'll gain other abilities from it...
Hi guys. I've recently had three LDs in the last month. I can't recall them well though. I've been being lazy and a slacker since I completed the TOTY in November. But the new tasks are up, so I'll be going back to work! The nine new tasks look really fun! Especially the one where you get to jump off one of the Twin Towers!
NON DREAM DREAM LUCID This was definitely a LONG dream. And it consisted of more famous people than I'm used to...which is saying something, because they're pretty much all I ever dream about. I'm at a ski resort with two characters from How I Met Your Mother, Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan). We're all there to go snowboarding. We all push off from the top of the hill and start boarding down, but not in the proper way. At least, I wasn't. I was sitting down on my snowboard and sliding down like I was sledding. But it was fun, and we kept shouting out "WEEEEEEEE!" I kept getting stuck on piles of snow or something, but eventually all three of us made it to the bottom of the hill. There, we met a business-looking man who was trying to advertise new ski slopes to us. He had a model of the Black Pearl, the pirate ship from Pirates of the Caribbean. Apparently there was a new slope modeled to look like the boat, and of course I got really excited, exclaiming, "Oh my God, that is my favorite movie. We have to try this thing!" So, somehow, I'm standing in a line waiting to get inside to this ski slope at the top of the hill again. Marshall and Lily are gone, and instead a bunch of people from my school are in line with me. Everyone has these plastic cards that have about 50 cents on each of them, and you cash them in to get your ticket and go inside. I only have five cards in my pocket, and when it's my turn, I give them to the old man who's running the register. He says, "Sorry, I'm gonna need about 40 more of these." But when I check my pockets, all I can find is plastic wrappers and other random junk. I say, "Can I go back and get more?" and he says, "Alright, but only this once. I'm not gonna let this happen again." I thank him and run off, not sure of where I'm going, exactly. Finally, I make it inside a nearby building, which turns out to be my school. There are a few students I recognize walking around, but I ignore them. I take out my cellphone and call my mom, to tell her that I don't have enough cards to get into the ski resort and that I don't know what to do. She doesn't answer, and, annoyed, I leave a message. I remember catching a glimpse of my reflection in some sort of mirror. I was wearing a thin white sweater, black pants, and my hair was in a ponytail. Definitely not proper snowboarding attire, that's for sure. Anyways, somehow I come to the decision that I'm just gonna leave and go home, ditching the whole snowboarding thing. I start walking in random directions. I cut through classrooms, which are apparently all connected by doorways. Finally, after walking for a long time, I come to this little library thing and see and open window leading outside. I start climbing through it, but some lady (who I guess was a teacher) stops me. She asks me some sort of history question. I think about the answer for a minute, but I don't know it. So I shrug and say, "I don't know. I'm not in this class." Then she says, "Oh! Well, second hour tomorrow, then!" I feel like it's useless to try and keep explaining to her that I'm not in her class, so I just laugh and keep walking away. The walk is extremely short, and I suddenly find myself hopping over a fence and in my backyard. I look into my neighbor's driveway and see my cat. He's fighting a squirrel. Apparently, this is normal, so I keep walking towards my house. Suddenly, though, the squirrel heads for me, and tries to attack me. One of his claws gets stuck in the back of my sweater (which is now red) and he starts pulling me back. That was one strong squirrel. He keeps pulling and pulling and he's winning. I shout out for help, when, suddenly, I realize that none of this makes sense at all. I become lucid. I instantly relax, knowing that I can't get hurt, and the squirrel lets go and runs away. I wake up. Or, so I think. With my eyes still closed, I know I'm still dreaming. However, I'm afraid that if I open them, I'll actually wake up. I perform a reality check. Okay, I'm dreaming. I need to open my eyes, so I do. I'm in my mom's bed, which sort of makes this a partial false awakening, because that's not where I fell asleep. Thankfully, I haven't woken up in real life. Now I feel like achieving a personal lucid goal of mine--flying. I stand up and walk to the edge of my mom's bed, crouched down, and got ready to jump off. Suddenly, the song "You Can Fly!" from Peter Pan started playing. I pictured how Wendy just started easily flying around her bedroom with the help of Peter Pan, and while I didn't have pixie dust, I did have faith and trust. So I jumped off the bed, and to my surprise, I was flying! I started floating around and flapping my arms like a bird before I flew into my living room. I saw my mom sitting on the couch, texting. "Look," I said, "I can fly!" She looks up at me and smiles a little, before going back to her phone. What? Why isn't she more excited? I'm flying, after all. "No, look! I'm actually flying!" I say, and start flying in circles right below the ceiling. She says something along the lines of "That's great," and goes back to her phone again. Whatever. The dream switches, and I'm not lucid anymore. Aww. I'm standing in what I guess is supposed to be my dad's basement, even though it looks nothing like it. A bunch of people are down there, including Justin Timberlake. I don't know. So, anyways, the basement is designed to look like a rainforest, complete with plants, rain, and animals. Lots and lots of animals, mostly birds. I decide that our basement is so cool, that I just have to take some pictures. I walk over to one little section of plants that has a bunch of birds. The birds are all very pretty and colorful, and they seem to be posing for the camera. There's one bird, however, that just gives me the creeps. It can't fly, it just walks around. It's fat and grey and has a reddish pink bill. It starts fluffing up it's feathers in a threatening way when I start taking pictures, so I start to walk away. Unfortunately, it follows me. Scratch that, chases me. Everyone starts laughing at me (including Justin Timberlake, the bastard) as I try to outrun this freaky bird. I pick up a big white blanket which is just sitting around and hold it up in front of me so that the bird can't hurt me, but it starts pecking at my feet, which the blanket isn't protecting. Now I'm freaking out, but my dad is standing there, teasing me about the whole situation. I throw the blanket aside and run up the stairs, finally escaping the bird. I remember another dream, even if it was only a fragment. There is something about a school bus carrying kids back from a sleep-away camp. My friend A is in my dining room, on some boxy, ancient looking computer. She's on the camp's website because she just got back from the camp, and she's telling me everything that happened. There are profiles for each camp counselor, and A clicks on the one for hers. Turns out, her counselor was no other than Karen Gillan. "No way," I say, "she was your camp counselor?!" A is confused. She doesn't know why it's such a big deal. She doesn't seem to know that Karen Gillan is a famous actress. I'm in a different dream now. I'm in the ocean, although it's very shallow. The water is blue and crystal clear. I have a bucket full of shark fins, and they're covered in butter and stuffed with vegetables. We're going to feed them to...the sharks. I'm with Matt Smith and Emma Stone. Matt is teaching both Emma and I how to properly feed the sharks, which have now started swarming around us. The sharks are very strange looking. The have pointy noses that are encrusted with weird, tribal-looking designs. They have yellow eyes. And they're big, about as big as a grown man. They seem friendly enough, though, so they don't freak me out too badly. We start throwing the fins at them, and they gobble them up. That's when Matt decides to tell us, "Oh, and this is illegal, you know." "What?" I say, "Illegal?!" "Well, yes. I mean, these are shark fins. And we're feeding them to sharks. That's cannibalism. And that's illegal," he responds, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Oh," I say, "Okay." We continue feeding the sharks. Suddenly, though, the sharks all start swimming towards us at an alarming pace. Matt Smith has transformed into Ashton Kutcher, and I know Emma Stone changed to someone else, too, but I don't remember who. The sharks all turn so that they're swimming vertically, heads above the surface of the water. The ocean has turned into a giant pool, with rather murky water. The sharks press me, Ashton Kutcher, and the mystery person up against the wall of the pool so we couldn't move. "ASHTON!" I shout. I'm freaking out. I look around, and we're surrounded by the freaky sharks. "Stop! Don't worry! This is...this is just what the sharks do. It's their ritual. They think we're one of them! It's okay!" he says. But I know it's not okay. But I don't care. Somehow, I manage to pull myself out of the edge of the pool, and Ashton and the other person follows me. We feel relieved that we escaped from the sharks, but as I turn around, I see one shark has followed us. It's standing on it's fins, walking like a person, and...smiling at us, in a rather creepy manner. I scream, grab a buttered shark fin out of the bucket, and hold it up in front of my face, hoping it would act as some sort of a peace offering to the shark. I guess I'll never know, though, because I woke up. This was a very long dream, and a rather hilarious one, at that. Most of it was non-lucid, but the during the small lucid part, I flew, which was a personal goal of mine. Yay!

I'm seeing a trend in my dreams, last night I was part of around 6 people released from prison, the prisoners were going crazy as we were being led to the doors, it took ages to get out, as we were being held back I realized I could be dreaming so I do a RC to confirm. Now im out with 1 of the others, I'm lucid too but again just following the dream, there's a huge screen with game playing, there's a map and lots of dots moving really fast, I ask the other guy what they are, he tells me it's the others and they're being chased down by the cops again, he tells me to touch the screen then take the helicopter, but says it's hard to fly. I manage to fly it to the scene and land on top of a hill. When I jump out there's all my work colleagues all sat on top of this hill watching the action below, I sit with them and tell them it isn't real, they all say I'm stupid so I grab my thumb and pull it so it stretches about 2 foot long, they just looked shocked, the dream became much clearer too, however it didn't last much longer. I woke up, took the dog out then went back to bed to try a WILD, it didn't work.
Ok this was my first succesfull attempt on somewhat controling my dreams. the night before i thought to myself: ok so what would be easy to do? then i realized cheating at a game would be the easiest thing to materialize. so that night i dreamt i was a soilder in a war (the generic cameo wearing one) and started getting shot at by a bunch of guys. i looked at my hands and realized i was dreaming. all i had to do was fly around with a giant machine gun and i killed them all (no gore) after a while i realized i had other powers such as fireballs. once i just yelled and a sonic boom sent enemies flying. The rest of the dream goes on with things like this. i would recomend trying this for beginers since its easier to think up super powers than a whole setting
I have recently been having a dream in which I enter through a round portal into another world. I live in this world all night long. I am still me but I do a different job there. My loved ones are there also with different names. There are small creatures there like rabbits or squirrels with human facial features and they talk. They are part of the society, not animals. When I wake up I am tired. When I am dreaming I am completely asleep. The details of that world are very clear to me. Everything is better there. When I wake up I actually go back through the portal beforehand.
I'm back...I have a yearlong journal in the grandfathered section and my resolution in new years was to do another year long one straight. Mummy in the florida keys It was like I was coming back to college ut instead, I was going to college in the swamp lands of florida. It was weird because I would frequently see an aerial view of the neighborhood I was living in when talking about it. I spent most of my time in the airport with other kids who were going to do the same program that I was in. When I got t the the airport, I first met one girl, slightly chubby with blonde frizzy hair, who was going to my same program. Soon a lot of other kids started started gathering who were going to the same thing. In the library (another section of the airport around the gate), there were many sets of shelves, one of them seemed to belong to me in a past experience with the program. My stuff was scattered to the ground and thrown all over the place. I was pretty mad and I was spending a lot of time trying to find a small paperback book with a blood red cover with a black boy on it. Instead, all the books that I could find were other paperbacks, most memorably, a Redwall book like the ones I used to read when I was younger. There were 2 black boys and one tan white girl, all about 16 standing around and chatting around my shelf. It was them who had messed up all of my stuff. I got really mad at them and punch one of them but then I cooled down. He was still really mad at me so I let him punch my arm a couple times until he cooled down too. Then I told them that there was gonna be a mummy where I was living. The girl was instantly interested and one of the boys, a shorter bald kid who kinda looked like an older version of the boy in Role Models said that because i was telling these interesting stories, the girl was gonna be in love with me. This was true and she wouldn't stop following me around. the aerial view of the neighborhood that I was living in was interesting. It had a couple of houses painted in interesting tropical houses. A lot of the land was covered in water and the houses were mostly connected by dry sand patches in between the land. There was a bridge made of giant pink stones and covering it was a giant light house. Dirty Train This one was inspired by the movie metropia, an interesting movie but I was tired and fell asleep during it after I wrote the first half of this entry. I was on this strange train thing but I was in this very big grungy kinda really dirty room. the room had a couple couches and a lot of young 20 something girls, mostly tanned white but some middle eastern, yes all pretty attractive, but meant to look like they had been working really hard. They were all rebels against their big brother of a government. We were getting into the station and they did this massive cleaning up of their room to hide all of their contraband for when the government worker would come in and inspect it. This was amazing because it featured a giant garage door esque thing that scraped across the floor and very thing that was beyond view kind of disappeared...i can't really describe it right now. So when the room (a room about 30'x30' or maybe a little bigger, metal walls floor and ceiling, was scraped clean we moved back in the couches and added some fold-able tables to fill the space. I was also walking around and I noticed that we had a window at the front of the cart so that we could look out at the tunnel that we were traveling down. I walked out of the giant room and down a hall toward the front of the train (which shouldn't have been there because the window in our room was the front. I noticed that our window actually pointed into a weird sweatshop esque room. I ran back to my room and was yelling about the window, which was now covered in a blind, about how it should not be able to look to the front because there was another room there. This is when I became lucid but it wasn't that big of a deal for some reason. I kind of just brushed passed that. The girls wondered what I meant and lifted the blind and showed the room I was talking about but they said that it had never shown the front of the train...Finally we came to a stop and were about to be inspected. There was one guy who was the inspector guy. He looked like jason stathom but a little skinnier from not eating well. He inspected the room. Earlier in the dream, i just didn't know how to connect the 2 incidences, we were walking around this strange place, before the train, and I noticed that all the workers (all male), were bald with silvery grey skin. One of the silver guys asked me if he had something on his cheek. I laughed really hard and said that yes, he had large smudges all over his right cheek that looked like different color oil stains, like brown, yellow, and other food-ish like product. Later back when we were on the train, I asked one of the girls how the people became grey and she said they get that way after they disrespect the government. Each one of those splotches on the cheek (this detail a little fuzzy) was a mark after one of your family members was killed for punishment from your behavior. I was so sad because I had laughed at this guy earlier. So like I said, everything was inspected and we passed. I started walking around, still lucid but taking it for granted, and looking at all the people. It was really cool and I suddenly noticed once more...hey, why is this dream taking so long. Then I remembered, "duh, dreams just last longer when you're lucid!" At that moment I was walking passed a black middle aged guy and stared at him with a funny face as I walked by to amuse myself. He looked confused. Once again, I stopped myself and realized, Whoa, lucid, gotta do something with this! I realized that I didn't have any shoes on so the first thing I did was try to imagine the feeling of shoes on my feet instead. I didn't try for too long and I just quit that. The next thing I did was went to this ledge thing which was the ledge of a stairway, one of the kinds of stair ways where it looked like it wasn't connected to a wall...crap I'm sucking at explaining things right now. (somehow it wasn't a train I was on anymore I guess) Anyway, I started to try to jump up on it and grab the ledge but I wasn't jumping higher and my grip was extra slippery. I regain composure, "come on, you're lucid, just make yourself jump higher." I gave a couple more pushes with the same result. I looked behind me and the agent inspector guy was there and he was pissed, I was breaking some rule or something. We got into an intense fight (I was thankfully ok at that in my dream) but he still kicked my ass and tackled me to the ground, pinning my head down and sitting on my back. He said something about me doing something wrong and disrespecting him so he took away (the gov could do this) my access to some webpages and made my facebook less powerful (evidently it had some cool power to take away). Another Train (FRAG) took another nap... Just a fragment but I was on a train, regular size this time, and I was with one really fat white woman and probably 2 other skinny women. I remember vaguely the fat one talking about breast feeding and she took out her breast. Some other stupid stuff...

As would be my luck, my first lucid is about the most disorganized dream I can remember. However, I've taken my thoughts and arranged them to what I believe is a semi-logical string of logic. Before that I would like to introduce our cast of DCs in this dream. Forrest Gump- A movie I've never seen, but have heard of. Shay- A girl in my class, I really don't like her Emily- Also a girl in my class, but I DO like her Ty- A guy who used to be in my class, but he transferred schools Some kid- A DC of a small kid, he represents no one in reality. I don't remember anything up until the point that I said "I'm DREAMING!?" At that point, I was in the hallways of a highschool. I can't verify whether or not it's my school, but that's not really relevent in this dream. A group of kids, like a HUGE group of kids, were going down the hallway, leaving me behind with the thought that I was dreaming. I saw this and walked to catch up. As I walked I thought, "I can't believe I finally did it! But, if I get too excited I'll wake up. Don't wake up, don't wake up, don't wake up!" And I didn't! Then I thought "I'll just go along with this dream and see how it plays out." Then, we were out of the high school and in a giant wooden jungle gym in a real jungle! There I saw Ty. I said "Ty, long time no see?" He then shook my hand. Beside him was a kid I've never seen before, but Shay and Emily both claimed to know him. Before long, we were out of the jungle gym. Well, I was at least. I ended up at Shay's house with Shay. I've never been to her house in reality, but apparently this was it. I was in her room, with her. Then we heard a voice, which I somehow knew was Forrest Gump's. "So," he said with an evil cackle, "Did you find the vagina in my maze??" "WHAAAAAAT!?!?!" I thought. "No." Shay replied. "Well," Forrest said, "Why don't you check this room?" I quickly left the room, slamming the door behind me to prevent seeing what he was talking about. I then left the house and a scream from Shay sounded as I exited. I ignored it, and proceeded to walk through an apocalyptic town controlled by who I believed was Forrest Gump, but looked like Bayou Billy or Crocadile Dundee. "I've got to stop this...." I thought and the dream ended. So, in an odd way, I did end it I suppose.
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm visiting Las Vegas. Downtown Las Vegas is made up of multiple levels of shops, restaurants, and casinos, most of them themed to a particular pop-culture franchise, all stacked on top of each other and connected by multiple layers of walkways and stairs, creating a gigantic, multilevel man-made environment. I'm walking through this environment with my mom. I walk away from her briefly to do something on my own [I don't remember what], and I'm worried for a moment that I won't be able to find my way back to where she's sitting. But I come back down the stairs and there she is, sitting on a bench next to a curved railing at the edge of an elevated walkway, waiting for me to come back. When I approach, she gets up, and we continue walking. Then, my mom and I are joined by my sister and a couple of our girlfriends. [They weren't anyone I know in real life, but in the dream, they were our friends.] While we're walking around, my mom says something to the effect of, “I thought all you girls were supposed to go see a shrink!” We just kind of laugh and say, “Yeah, we were.” [I think] We're still planning on going to see one later. My family and I are getting ready to leave somewhere on an airplane. I observe how airplanes operate, by catching drafts of air, and think about how fragile and uncertain this process is. Then I think that it's best not to think about this process too much, since I'm going to have to travel on one very shortly. Then, we're flying on the airplane. It flies past some elevated highways that appear familiar to me. [Different dream, probably in a different cycle.] I'm sitting in a typical high school football stadium, watching the pre-game activities. There is a marching band on the field. One member of the marching band has a large trombone whose bell is filled with clarinets. When he blows into the trombone, the clarinets spray out all over the place. I find myself hunting through the bleachers for my clarinet reeds, which have been thrown all over the place. I pick them up, looking at the numbers printed on the back of each one, looking for the 2 ½ reed. One of them says “5 ½,” another “3 ½.” Eventually, I find the 2 ½ one. The football players are on the field, warming up for the game. One of them throws a practice pass to another, but with a basketball, not a football. I look away from the field, and look down at the program on my lap. It's made of sheets of paper folded in half crosswise, and has lots of text on it. I read it for a few moments, and then something [I don't remember what] makes me stop and think, Either [something that I can't remember now], or this is a dream program. I reach up and pinch my nose shut, and feel that wonderful, paradoxical sensation of being able to breathe through it while doing so. Yes, I'm dreaming. I pinch my nose and breathe through it for a few moments more, to verify and to enjoy the sensation. While doing this, I gaze at the program, not reading it, just looking at it and appreciating the experience of knowing that this thing I'm looking at, as real as it looks, is just a dream image being generated by my mind. When I look up at the field again, I'm surprised to find that the scene has grown mostly dark, as if somebody turned off most of the lights. I know that's because I haven't been paying any attention to the football field for the last couple of minutes, and therefore, it's started to fade away. I'm disappointed, and wish and hope that it will get brighter again, but it doesn't. Then the dream ended. After I had woken up, I remembered that I could have verbally commanded the dream to become clear and bright again, and mentally kicked myself for forgetting about that trick.
1.1.2012Recruitment (DILD) ★★★★☆NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID What a mess. . . Overturned shipping crates and semi-trailers lay strewn about my dishevelled court. Patches of barely-living, pale-green grass permeate the dead, yellow lawns. Every house sits in disrepair, some are even missing, replaced by strange, red statues and rocks. A large, armored eighteen-wheeler pulls into the court. It stops, suddenly. Waiting. Somehow, I understand I need to clear a path for this thing. Sighing at the inconvenience, I use TK to lift the first shipping crate out of the way without difficulty. The truck moves forward, and I use another bit of TK to remove the remaining trailer from the road. Interesting that I can do that so easily, I catch myself thinking, Oh, right. Must be dreaming. With my newfound lucidity, I finally take notice of all the red in this scene, and, to my left, there’s a statue that catches my interest. It’s that little imp fellow from a previous dream, and the statue is located exactly where that school used to be. Disgusted with myself more than anything else, I pull from an FPS archetype, toss some C4 onto it, and hit the detonator, leaving only a smoldering stump of a neck where the statue’s head used to be. Slightly pleased with myself, my mood sours as I’m approached by a weaselly man in a nice grey suit. He starts pestering me with questions and hurried pleasantries; his nasally voice and unplaceable drawl grate at my nerve. I try to walk away, but he follows me as I move towards the old back-woods. ”Tell me,” he insists, struggling to get each word across, “Have you ever experienced. . . recruitment?” The word choice makes me roll my eyes, as I respond with an indignant question: ”You tell me.” Of course, he ignores my inquiry, going on to talk about what a great opportunity this is for me, and other nonsense I try to tune out; I’m not at all interested in playing along. . . Damned sheep. Note: I later learned the two sheep I had heard “baa”-ing behind my house all day long were, in fact, go-karts or something.

NON DREAM DREAM LUCID First off, I'd just like to say that this is most definitely a catch up entry. I haven't posted any dreams in a long time and I must admit that I'm rather disappointed with myself. I'll try to be more consistent. On a lighter note, I've noticed that lucid dreams are coming more naturally now. I won't even think about lucid dreaming at all, and I'll have a fantastic lucid that night. This never would have happened before...I usually would have had to concentrate and practice awareness and whatnot to give myself anything close to a lucid. I'm in my room, and I'm with two girls from my school named 'E' and 'S'. Apparently they are spending the night, even though we have school the next day. Somewhere along the line, although we didn't even sleep at all, E's alarm goes off, signaling that it's time for us to get up and get ready. I feel rested and relaxed and ready to take on the day, and things just get better when I realize that it's 1:30 in the morning. "This is great," I say, "more time to get ready!" E and S are casually lounging around my room while I walk around and start to gather school things. Suddenly, E, in a very calm voice says, "Oh, it's not the morning. It's 1:30 in the afternoon." This sends me into a fit of rage and I turn on her. "You mean to tell me that right now, I'm missing all of my classes?! This is terrible! I can't believe you guys! Why would you let me sleep in this late?!" I yell. I storm around my room faster now, trying quickly to get all the stuff I need to run out the door and somehow make it to school. Opening my closet, I suddenly become extremely confused...there, sitting on the floor of my closet with her legs curled up to her chest, is my little sister. "Umm...what are you do--OH!" I start to say before I come to the realization that I'm dreaming. I perform a reality check, and sure enough, I'm right. I immediately stop my frantic search for school supplies and turn back around, ignoring my sister. It's dark outside all of a sudden, but I don't care. E and S are gone, too, but I brush that aside, as well. There's someone I need to find. Right, well, just so you know, I fangirl pretty hardcore over a sci-fi TV show called Doctor Who. It's simply the best show on this whole planet. The main character of this show is, well, the Doctor. Okay, now that you have a smidge of background information, you can probably guess that my goal was to find the Doctor. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to travel through all of space and time? So I walk across my room, trying to formulate a plan to find him. Just then, I turn my attention towards my bed, where I see a heap of blankets. It's pretty much what my bed looks like in real life all the time. I think, 'What if I can make a person appear?' I walk over to my bed and poke the blankets rather viciously, shouting "DOCTOR! WAKE UP!" To my surprise, this method of summoning works, and BAM, there he is. I'm pretty happy, but I don't think he is. After all, I did just wake him up in quite a rude way. He sits up, looks around, and says "What?" I get up and sit next to him, extremely happy. Now, at this point, my memory of the dream starts to fade, so links from one event to the next are kinda blurry. Somehow, though, the Doctor and I are both seated across from each other, laughing hysterically about something. He then proceeds to press a button inside his jacket, causing his pinstripe suit to glow green in random spots. Even his eyes glow green. It would have been creepy had he not been waving his hands in the air and going "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO..." I'm pretty sure I wasn't lucid during this part, but I also vaguely remember trying to take a picture with my iPod of the both of us, but he kept shoving me out of the picture and taking up all the space. Apparently, my subconscious' version of him is quite the camera hog. This was definitely an interesting dream. I'm sort of upset I didn't remember more...also, I wish I had taken the time to actually travel through time like I originally wanted to.
Happy New year everyone! I was watching curious George. I was George, apparently. Me and my chaperone walked into a bowling alley in what seemed to be some sort of square or park in an urban town. I was now myself. My chaperone turned into some scruffy convict-looking type wearing black and brown. We were sitting at a table inside of the bowling alley. He was looking at screen, it looked like a GPS on an iPad-like device. I was watching a red pulsing dot on the screen, over his shoulder. It was getting increasingly closer to our location. "Fuckers' trackin' us," My scruffy companion announced. They're tracking us? Seems more like the other way around. "Come on, we might be able to delay 'em." He says. I followed him out the door. It was evening now, and there was a man waiting for us on a long motorbike with some sort of cabin, it was like a cross between a mine cart and a motorcycle. He forced us in, and drove off, with a strange respect for the road laws, even though he looked like a gangster. "Best paying job yet," The driver commented. "CIA paid me six hundred million to get you guys, eh?" Half way to my house, I was transitioned to a van with my family in it. We were still going the same way. One long wait at a light later, we arrived at my house, with a government van behind us. We parked in the driveway, and my eyes rose to the sky, full of stars and still red from sunset. There was something weird about it. There seemed to be a giant planet in it. What planet, I wondered. I examined what I could see out of the windshield. It was earth, I noticed. I could just barely make out Mexico. I considered Earth for a moment. A bit odd, I thought. Is this a dream? No, it cant be... Oh, wit, except it is! I realized, and with the energy of sudden full lucidity, I burst out of the car door and ran around in my family's yard with my brother and father. I came across a mound of dirt that was not there in waking life, under a fully leafed tree, though it was winter. "Anchor dream," I cheered. My father snickered at this. I looked around the yard. Oh, right, I remembered. IOSDP tonight. I thought about Chichen-Itza, but remembered we weren't doing that any more. So I tried to focus my attention on shared dreaming and the IOSDP and whatnot. After 15 seconds of trying, I came to the conclusion that it was to hard and stopped impulsively. I decided to run out into the road and talk to some DCs. It was suddenly morning. I saw several friends from my school roaming the streets. They didn't live here. I met a friend near a tree. "Hey, guess what?" I said. "What?" "I'm in a dream! But not in your head, my own, so it doesn't matter that I'm telling you this!" I laughed. They rolled their eyes. "Anchor dream!" I yelled at them. I then ran off down the road. The dream shifted into me standing in a line of students somewhere in the second level of my school. I was still lucid. I threw the assorted objects I had in my hand aside into assorted machinery, nobody cared but the guy behind me, be cause he was trying to steal some of it. I stood in line for a while until I figured something out. "Oh wait," I said. "Screw this. Anchor dream." I walked out of the line, around some machinery, and into the next room. A teacher had given me papers as I passed, I threw those aside, too. I scattered all over the left side of the next room, which was only storage. I proceeded. This room had three teachers trying to stop me inside. They were maneuvering around a pile of boxes. "Is there somebody you need to see?" One of them asked, still trying to get to me. "Nope," I pushed past them. I now came into a similar, but larger room. It had large windows for me to jump through, but before I could reach them I awoke suddenly, too awake to DEILD, but I felt satisfied.
Sat. 12/31/2011 Bed 1:30am I set my goal to OOB or LD. For OOB - look at my sleeping body, my astral hands and cord. Go to the orbit and from there go see my mom in Europe. I’m in US. GM+Choline 5:47am I had 2 OBEs before 8 am and LD between 8:30-11am. OBE#1. Starts as a dream. I’m in a big, bright room with friend of mine and her two kids. It’s a living room and a bedroom. It’s not my place and it’s not my friends place. We are playing. Then I go to sleep and I try to have an OBE. I feel the telltale tingling in the back of my head. I come to the point, when I decide to try and roll out from my body. I kinda expect to hit the floor. I’m amazed, when what feels like 3 inches from the floor I ‘bounce off’ the ‘antigravity energy field’. I immediately start walking away from the bed, not wanting to get pulled back. It's not very hard to walk, feel only a slight pull. I don’t stop, until I come to the end of the hallway with some windows on left and door at the end. I want to stop while inside, don’t want to go out yet and split second later I remember I wanted to see my sleeping body. I struggle to see better/open my eyes. Although I see quite well, I feel like my eyes are closed, but not the feeling as I’m looking through my eyelids. I manage to open one eye just a little bit and I see much better, but I’m not sure, if that’s not my sleeping eye so I don’t continue opening it. I turn around and look for a cord. I don’t see it, but I know it’s there. I follow it back to the bed. First thing I see is the end of the bed, rest of it is hiding behind the wall. I’m curious to see if the bed is empty and I’m in LD, or if there is a sleeping body. As I come closer, I’m amazed to see the sheet pushed up by what clearly looks like two feet and legs of a person sleeping on his back. I come closer and again with amazement, I see a sleeping person. She is wearing an orange t-shirt, with sheets reaching half way up the torso. I know it’s me, puffy cheeks and all. The person was not sleeping in the same position, as I was when going to sleep and when waking up (right side). I exit the place and find myself floating between two 10 story apartment buildings, like you find in central/eastern Europe. I remember my goal to go to the orbit and I want to fly straight up. It’s not working as I wanted, so I approach the building and propel myself with my hands grabbing on to balconies to go higher. I find myself on the ground behind a corner. I think it’s over, but then I realize I could look at my hands and know for sure. I look at my hands. They look very gentle, light yellow/see-through energy and they quickly fade away. I did look at my hands one more time during this experience, but not sure when. OBE#2 I wake up briefly, just long enough to say “lets try this again”. I feel the tingling in back of my head again and will myself to levitate, but it’s not really working. I think I decide to just go to sleep when I realize, I have my ceiling about 6’’ from my face. I immediately say “to the window” and I feel myself in the top left corner of my window, the exact location, where I was practicing to end up. I’m in my apartment. I again remember I wanted to go to the orbit. I try, but it’s difficult to fly. I try superman style. Then, I’m next to a building, still up in the air. I know I don’t want to go through the wall as this could be a portal. But I fly in anyway. I feel the change. Inside is a bigger space than I would expect from size of the building. It’s warm, filled with semi-liquid, very soft dark grey matter that separates, as I float through it. I feel like I shouldn’t be here and exit through the wall on the left side. I never felt presence of my helpers. Did I surprise them and got out when they were not expecting it, or this wasn’t an OBE? The more I think about it, I feel that this was a low awareness OOB. But I’m opened to suggestions. I have read about APs for many hours before bed last night. LD#11 I wish I got up to write it down, but I didn’t. I kept repeating to myself what it was about, but by the time I got up, it was too late. Actually I feel like I may have written it down, but there is nothing in my DJ.
