Lucid Dreams
Longest. Dream. Ever. So vivid, so much detail, and much more dialogue than I normally have in my dreams. The whole thing must've lasted 10-15 minutes (in dream time) I was in a very large city, what I assumed was Tokyo at the time on some sort of school trip. I was on a pathway with some friends and we were walking towards a large deck/patio area that was overlooking a river and the city. When we got to the deck I looked up in the sky and saw the moon was much larger than usual. It seemed to be growing too. I squinted a little bit to try and see it better, and I noticed it was hurtling at us! I didn't move (don't know if I couldn't or just didn't) and just stood there. Nobody else seemed to be paying any attention and I didn't say anything, I just started at the moon flying at us. It crashed into the city beyond the river and there was a huge explosion with massive amounts of debris flying everywhere. The next thing I knew I was standing on the pathway again, like nothing had ever happened. I looked around, and noticed it was just like before. I didn't really think anything of it and continued to walk with my friends towards the deck again. When we got there I asked my friend Tyler about what happened. He said, "What are you talking about? Nothing happened, and the moon difinitely didn't fall out of the sky. Look," he pointed up, "it's right there." I looked up where he was pointing and sure enough there was the moon, siting in the sky, certainly not hurtling towards us. I found this very odd, and started to quesiton things. I figured I might as well to a RC. I plugged my nose, tried to breath in and it worked! I was in a dream, the third one in a row I imediately felt the dream start to fade and quickly started to rub my hands together to no success. I decided to try spinning to prolong the dream and kept spinning around and around. I didn't want to open my eyes, thinking that I would wake up, but after I had spun for about 30 seconds and wasn't lying down, I figured I could stop and I would be alright. I opened my eyes and I was still on the deck, but nobody was there. I thought of what to do, and I immediately thought of the TotY. The first one that came to mind was the first camera, but I didn't really feel like doing that one for some reason. Instead, I decided to survive the hindenburg disaster. I pictured the large baloon floating over an airfield (like I remember seeing in old videos) and snapped my fingers, thinking to myself, "take me there." In a flash I was inside a small room, what looked like a cockpit. There were two people in the room with me and I noticed they had modern pilot uniforms on. I didn't think much of it and leaned over them to look out the window. I proceeded to accidently knock over one of their coffees, "Hey! Watch it!" he yelled. I back away quickly, surprised at his sudden activity. I noticed that the cup was full, and it had gotten all over the controls. A few sparks appeared and I started to get nervous, as did the pilots. I rubbed my hands some more, making sure I had a good hold on the dream. I had a feeling this would be the cause of the crash, and I was right. The blimp immediately started diving forward, and the pilots pulled back on the controls as hard as they could, trying to get the blimp to rise. I could hear passengers screaming in the back when a flight attendant came in. "What's going on!? Why are we falling out of the sky!?" She sounded surprisingly calm for being in an aircraft that was about to crash. "This dumbass spilled coffee all over the controls!" One of them yelled. I backed away a little bit and put my arms up like I was innocent, "It was an accident! I didn't mean to!" I claimed. Then, one of the pilots must've had a light bulb go off over his head, because in an instant, he shouted, "Wait! I have an idea!" He then took his coffee, and poured it all over the controls! "What the hell are you doing!?" I demanded. "Just wait," he replied. After only a few seconds, we levelled out, and were at a safe trajectory again. "What the... how did you know that would work?" I asked. "We are in a dream, you know." He replied, quite sarcastically. I shrugged it off and walked back into the main room where all the passengers were. Then I noticed a guy with a cigarette in his mouth and some matches in his hand. "NO!! Don't do that!" I yelled, but it was too late. He struck the match and the entire vessel instantly burst into flames. There was tons of flames in the passenger area and I ran back into the cockpit where there wasn't any fire yet. "What the hell was that!?" One of the pilots demanded. "Some idiot just lit a match and now the entire things burst into flames!" I replied. "Then light another match! You know, dreams?" It did make sense, given that he fixed the earlier problem by pouring more coffee onto it. I went back into the other room with the other passengers who were all freaking out. This time it was actually very hot and I started to sweat. I felt like I just ran a marathon and got thrown into a sauna, minus the steam. I pulled a matchbook out of my back pocket (no idea how they got there). To my dismay, as I opened them they immediately burst into flames from the already roaring fire. I guess that plan's out . I went back into the cockpit where it was starting to get warm, but there still weren't flames. "So? Did it work?" The same pilot asked. "Not exactly..." I replied, "they burst into flames before I could light them." "Damn," he said, obviously discouraged, "that was our only plan. Well, I guess there's nothing left to do but sit back and enjoy death." Jeez, that seemed a little dark. "Doesn't really matter to me," I said calmly, "I just need to ride this out so I can finish the TotY." It was true after all, if I had saved the blimp then I would've failed my task. "That is such a dreamer's additude." The other pilot added in. "How do you know I'm dreaming?" I asked. "Duh," he said sarcastically, "I'm part of your subconscious. You know, your brain? I know everything you know, and things you don't know you know." "Like what?" I asked, equally sarcastic. "Now then," he said, "this is no place to have an intelectual discussion. We're all-most of us are going to die here." Damn... I actually felt like a douche, but he was right, we're about to crash. "Can you just answer me one quesiton?" I asked. "Yes. There, I answered your quesiton, now shut up so I can enjoy my death." He replied. Jeez, my subconscious is even more sarcastic than I am. "Thats not what I meant. I want to ask you where my dream guide is. I've always wondered who/what it is but never found him/her/it." It was true, I was very curious about who my DG was. "Don't you see? It's right in front of you, it's-" At this point the blimp finally crashed into the ground. The force threw me forward into the windshield, but it didn't break. Ow... The cockpit I was in finally caught on fire, and it was even hotter than the other room. I could feel my skin starting to melt, but it didn't hurt, just uncomfortable, like when you get a moderate cramp, only it was all over my body. I wanted to get out. Now. I pushed my way through the burning wreckage and punched out the window. I could barely squeeze through but there was a small openeing right on the ground about 2 feet high. I crawled out and walked into the bright sun. I turned around at the hindenburg and it was only a shell of what was once the greatest airship ever. I must've been the only one out. It wasn't until a few seconds later when a man ran over to me with a fire extinguisher in his hands that I noticed I was still on fire. I told him to back off because i wanted to try something. I did another small energy burst (See two dreams ago) and the fire pretty much evaporated. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine, but do you know if the pilot made it out?" I wanted to know what he was about to say and if he was really going to tell me who my DG was. "You're the only one who I've seen come out. Come on, you look terrible." I looked down into a puddle of water and noticed that all my hair had been singed off and my skin was black aroudn my face. I looked down and my arms and noticed my shirt was gone, but my pants were still there (thank god). I walked over to the bleachers where the crowd had been watching the blimp fly around and sat down on the first one. I looked back at the blimp again and noticed that it was just a pile of charred rubble. Then, I noticed a figure walking away. It was the pilot! Unfortunately, it wasn't the one who I had been talking to, but the other one who had just sat there silent the entire time. I ran up to him and noticed he had a disappointed look on his face, almost angry. Right as I got close to him he spun around and kicked me right in the side of my head! It was a damn hard hit and pushed me about 20 feet off to the side but I managed to stay on my feet. "What the hell was that for!?" I yelled at him. "Thats what you get for being yet another arrogant son of a bitch to come into this dream." Wow, he was angry! "What the hell do you mean?" I demanded. I was seriously confused. Was I really being that much of a jerk? "Back there, in the blimp, when you said 'Doesn't really matter to me, I just need to ride this out so I can finish the TotY.'" In a mocking tone like you would when you repeat what someone says to point out the obvious. "That is one of the cockiest things I've ever heard." (Looking back, he did kind of have a point) "What are you talking about? It's my dream, and besides, you're just a figment of my imagination. A projection of my subconscious to simulate the waking world." "Oh, but I'm much more than that. Yes, I am a projection of your-" he cleared his throat, "-our subconscious, but that doesn't mean I'm not real. In here, what you see is all real. What was that one thing you always said? 'Perception is reality?' Well, you were right. And, even though you may think you perceive thise to be just a dream, to me, to your subconscious, we perceive this as complete reality." Wow, this is getting really serious! This stuff is insane . "That may be," I said, slowly, "but you're still a part of me, and if I perceive this to be a dream, then it is a dream." "You're right," he said. He actually sounded like he just thought realized something. "This is a dream, but who's to say dream aren't reality? This is all real. Right now, your brain is still sending signals to your body and itself. Your heart is beating in here, as well as in your physical body, lying in your bed. What you're seeing, hearing, feeling. What you're smelling and even tasting, is all going into your memory. Saying this dream isn't real is like saying memories aren't real. You remember going snowboarding last night, right?" (I did go snowboarding last night) "That was real, wasn't it? But all it is now is just a memory, and soon, this will just be a memory. Saying this dream isn't real is like saying everything that has ever happened isn't real, and who are you to say what is and isn't reality?" (I maye have left some parts out, but this is about 95% accurate) "And now..." He said, "I think it's time I put you in your place." He charged at me, incredibly fast. "Wait wait wait, hold on a sec-" *SMACK!* I felt a huge sharp pain in my ribs. Everything started to go blurry, and I struggled to raise my hands together. I started to rub them and focus on the warmth and feeling, "Uh-uh," he yelled, "You're not stabalizing that easily! I'll make you wake yourself up!" At this point i was on my knees, trying to regain my breath, when suddenly my neck snapped back. He had kicked me square in the jaw. But then it hit me: it's not about rubbing your hands together, it's about focusing on your senses and how it feels to do so. "No, you're the one who's wrong," I squeezed out. "You see, the more you hit me, the more pain I feel, and the more senses I have to anchor myself to this "alternate reality" you say we are in." I focused on my chest, on my jaw, neck, and even the burns from the crash. The more I thought about it, the more it hurt, but the more vivid the dream became. "Ah, but I can see it on your face," he snickered. "The more you focus on the pain, the stronger it becomes." Spot on, he hit the nail on the head. "But you forget," I told him, "I have nearly mastered dream control, and any pain I feel I can easily change. You know, the mind interprets pain and sex in the same area of itself. If sexual thoughts can be used to diminish pain in waking life, then why could it not work in the dream world? After all, it's all in your head." At this point I was back on my feet, and pictured the pain in my chest and jaw to pleasure in my "private area." It worked better than I thought. So well in fact I nearly ejaculated and could feel the dream fade just a tiny bit. I imagined a bit of the new pleasure as pain to even it out, and it worked perfectly. I had some minor discomfort in my chest, and some moderate pleasure "down there." "I see," he replied, "it looks as if it has worked. Well then, let the realy fire start!" I immediately yelled back, "You asked for it!" I flexed all the muscles in my right hands and formed a fireball about the size of a medicine ball. I lurched back and flew forward in an all out sprint. At this point time seemed to slow down 10 fold, so that one normal second took a good 10 seconds to happen. We were only about 50 feet away and I halved that distance in the blink of an eye, or about 3 seconds of slow-motion. I swung my arm around as hard as I could (8 years of baseball finally paying off) and aimed right for his head. Right as it left my hand he leaned to the left and I flew past him. I spun around so that my back was facing the ground and I could see his knee about to come up, going straight for my back. I arched my back as hard as I could and turned it into a back handspring. "Not bad," he said, "for a dreamer." For some reason, that pissed me off. I'm normally a very cool headed guy. In fact, whenever I play video games with friends they will always get pissed off and I'll have to tell them to calm down, while they're all screaming their heads off. But not this time. Without thinking, I formed another fireball and went after him again. This time though, I threw the fireball at him earlier, and followed through on the throw to turn it into a side flip, and rotated that into a chartweel type move, and pushed yet another fireball off each of my feet, on either side of him, so no matter which way he moved, he would get hit. However, he jumped straight into the air, about 100 feet, avoiding all three fireballs. "Quite the moves you got there," he said, "but you'll have to do better than that to beat me!" He dove down head first straight at the ground, fast enough to cause him to burst into flames like a meteor. Having just recovered from my little stunt, I saw him out of the corner of my eye smash into the ground. A huge crater formed and I was pushed back several hundred feet. He walked casually out of his crater and moved so fast he just appeared next to me in the blink of an eye. "Now, like I said before, It's time you learn your place!" I felt a massive force on the back of my head and I'm pretty sure I was forced into the ground. The force was so great that I woke up in my bead, heart going crazy, sweating like hell and completely disoriented. Wow. Now that was a dream. I'm starting to wonder whether or not that was my DG, and if what he said was really true. I quickly wrote down all the main points as well as the majority of the dialogue, but I had school again that morning and I had little time to actually get into detail. Nevertheless, I got part of the TotY done, had en epic fight, and possibly met my DG.

Colors of text and what they mean: Non-lucid Lucid Notes Comments (These were inspired by KingYoshi's DJ entries) Dream info: Lucid/Non-lucid: Lucid (lost lucidity at some point) Type of induction (if lucid): None (Aware from the start) Duration: 1/2 minutes Vividness: Not vivid Dream: I had this dream a long time ago, but decided to post it now. I was lazzy I'm lucid. I don't know how, I just am. I know my family is near me, so I ask my mother "Am I dreaming?" She says negative. For some reason, I ask her this several times (I probably asked others the same too, I can't remember) and always get "No." as an answer. I still know I'm lucid. I try to change the dreamscape. I close my eyes, and then open them. Doesn't work. I try it several times, but it was fruitless. "It's amazing how aware I am," I note to myself (Which is ironic, because I was far from being totally aware). I remember I always wanted to start a lucid in a car, so I tell my mother we should use it to go somewhere. "Sure," she answeres, and we go out of the building. I, trying to change the landscape for the last time, close my eyes and shut my ears with my palms, but there is too much noise. I am not concentrated and I can't do it. I try to calm everyone around me to no avail. (I believe I lost lucidity at this point, I just know how this continued) I was in a shopping mall, near a restaurant in it. I look to see where the plates should be (It's the kind of restaurant where you take a plate and move in the line to get food from several places) and instead, there are caldrons. I don't know if I took one, I just know I am in the line. While I don't see the person next to me, I know she is my online friend from Romania. She is taking some delicious meat. I decide I should take the same. I eat the meat and find it delicious (I felt taste, which is rare for me). This was probably the end of the dream. I wake up either then or a bit later, being very enthusiastic about having my first LD that lasted for more than a second!
Disturbed WILD (WILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Not sure if this is a WILD or DILD, but anyway I am classing it as a WILD because it arose from me attempting a WILD in conjunction with some binaurals using sbagen. Just the binaurals and pink noise - I have found that if I try to mix binaurals with waterfall or river or wave sounds I just dream about water, and the mixes with music and verbal suggestions just seem to nag me out of sleep. So I have begun experimenting.. Things got a bit hazy while entering the dream, I may have been properly asleep for a minute or two (hence it being a possible DILD) but anyway I am in a room with some people I know from IWL, there is some kind of party and we are expecting more people to turn up. It is getting dark very quickly, like someone is turning the brightness down. I think "it worked I am dreaming", and I know that I will have to stabilise the dream because it is getting really dark now the visual environment is nearly gone. I try to spin but this seems to speed up the waking process. I try to touch something in my dream and connect to the dream envronment but I become aware of my waking hand. I think - I am going to have to open my eyes and do a RC to check for FA - which I do using my watch. It seems I am awake, I try to DEILD, and it is going well, I am drifting through HI and I can feel that "dreamspace" around me, some dream begins to form around me which is some kind of wide open space, but then there is a loud noise which pulls me back to waking. I try to drift back to the dream space and am having some success but the noises continue (someone outside). It is very distracting and frustrating. I decide to wake properly and do WBTB.
Short DILD with some missed dreamsigns (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Was sharing a room with a one-armed man (left arm missing) like the guy from Twin Peaks(TV). For some reason I felt oppressed by him, but then he was prety weird. Anyway I was being polite. I remember that in a previous dream that led to this one I was involved in some major building construction/demolition (common in my dreams - a dreamsign but I missed it this time) I took some laundry to the laundrette and put it in the washer. My mother was there advising me about soap powder (another dreamsign I missed - she has been dead for years). While leaving the launderette I was walking very fast and I had to step aside to avoid a young woman coming the other way, I think this made me more aware. As I was walking down the street I started to pay attention to my footsteps - they were a bit lighter and longer than usual (another of my dreamsigns) - I checked them more closely and decided they were pretty normal and I was not dreaming but then I decided to try to extend them in a floaty way and it then became obvious that I was dreaming. I flew up into the air to prove it. I then proceeded to explore the dream world but I was not careful to increase lucidity and stabilise the dream, and after a short dream walk through some kind of festival I lost it and woke up.

06.01.2012 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Dream 1: I didn't realize until later in the dream that I had both versions of Paper Mario. The original I bought for the virtual console shop for the Wii and the other for the Gamecube. I'm inside of a large store. It looks like a bookstore since I saw books all of the place, but they also sold used video games. I had a weird urge to buy Paper Mario, the one for the N64, but apparently it was on the Gamecube in the dream. The Used Games were on shelves and jumbled up near those huge containers where they would sell cheap old movies. I search the shelves first for it, and saw some weird titles. I saw "Okami" and another one too but it had some long name next to it for the Gamecube, versions of Avatar The Last Airbender etc. I find Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but I was looking for Paper Mario. When I was looking for the game, I saw one familiar DC, let's call him William. He looked oddly familiar to the William I knew IRL that I had a few AP classes with for a while as a Junior and Senior in High School. He was looking around in the used game sections too and then randomly searched for books. He was looking at a book and just holding his thumb on the side to let the pages fly by quickly. I turn my attention back to finding Paper Mario, so I go to the area where all the cases were mixed with other used games in a container. I eventually find it, open the case, and there was no CD, just the instruction manual and some other booklets about game safety etc. I believe it cost $19.99, and for a game that cheap to have an instruction manual, it had to be the best used game I could get from the rest in the pile. I can't remember what I did after that. Dream 2: I'm in some library, and I'm paying attention to this dude who is Caucasian and has dirty blonde hair and he's with some girl that looks like another person I knew IRL. Let's nickname her "Yvon." (yeah you say it like Yeeee von) The guy who was with Yvon had his parents with him, and I was walking around for something, but I can't remember what. It seemed that I tried to get closer to her, but I wanted to avoid her at the same time because I was worried what the other dude would think about me looking at his girlfriend weirdly. So instead of coming in contact with the girl who is headed right to my direction, I go left and walk near the dude. He looks at me like anyone else would if someone comes close to them and them look away going back to whatever it is they're doing, and then I continue walking forward. (If you were me, you would be facing the screen and the girl is going the opposite direction; not that would matter of course, it just felt like an awkward dream because I think it was projection on how I'm usually afraid to look at a girl for too long if she's obviously with a partner. I'm not the type of guy to just look at women and try to piss off their boyfriends mind you, it's just another flaw I've realized about myself. I can't remember anything after I past the guy in the dream. Dream 3: This dream is weird, I'm still questioning if I'm really lucid or not, but I didn't have thoughts saying "Am I dreaming" or anything like that. It was sort of a second nature nonverbal questioning. I wake up and get off my bed, I think my father is giving me gifts that other people he knew sent to me. He gave some kind of gray vest with the words "Hollister" on it in white text, and some other random crap. Then out of no where he gives me a vibrator, like the one shaped like a bean. (I think this is just my subconscious of laughing at me here because I stopped using my Blackberry Curve's vibration app for an anchor for WILDs) I was kind of shocked because I didn't really have a need for it, and it seemed it was fit more for female use and male use. After he leaves, I believe I did a nose RC, I'm breathing through my nose, and continue doing so for a while, but I still questioned if my mind was playing tricks on me. (I don't know why I would questioned the fact that I breathed through my nose even though that's a clear sign that I'm dreaming, but I'll just think of it as being lucid for a while because the whole experience changes when I do realize I'm dreaming). (But if I knew I was dreaming, I knew I would've escaped this dream scene and head to some random area and ask my subconscious to create Eva from Metal Gear Solid 3 for me since I've met her a few times in prior dreams....eh whatever). The dream keeps changing into other events. One that I remember is a friend of my father coming and I greeted him, then it changes to where he's showing me something and asking if everything is all right with college I think. I say "Yes, I'm doing all right" like I normally do for every response in real life too. Next scene, there's a group of DCs laughing and talking with each other. Next scene, I'm with my mother and she's marveling on how close some school is compared to some other school. She asked me some random question, and I was annoyed by it because it was a petty question, but I responded, but I can't remember what. Then I see my father eating Fried Rice with Tortilla Chips (lol que??). That's all I remember for that one. Dream 4: I'm walking in a random room, and I see some object that looks like a deformed Jack-in-a-Box toy. I think it was talking to me and wanting me to smash it. I think I was jumping on an exercise ball when I smashed it. The ground starts to shake, and I'm wondering what the hell is going. To the right of me, there were mid-cooked pieces of chicken tenders inside a foil tray. And under that was some type of floor grill. Then I realize I wanted to cook the food, and also realized the ground shaking was just to turn on this oddly-placed grill. I quickly search for something with water in it (why would I choose water?? At least go for cooking oil or something) and then I slowly pour it inside the base of the grill, and it starts to boil faster. Then as I'm cooking the meat, Riley from "The Boondocks" is near me asking "Aren't you going to clean the grill?" or something like that. I don't turn my head to look at him, I knew it had to be him by his voice, and I was annoyed by him questioning my cooking. But I responded, "Yes I'll clean it after I wash the chicken again..." Then he was like "Okaaaay..." I knew he wanted to say something else, but I think he knew he was acting like a nosy bitch and stopped asking me irrelevant questions. All I remember for that one. Dream 5: A DC that looks like Leonardo Dicaprio apparently is trying to save a group of people who are prisoners in some kind of military base look alike. So he disguises himself as a Chef so that he can find a way to help them escape. I think he had to save a blonde lady, but I'm not sure if she wanted to be saved in the first place. The dream was like watching a trailer where they would pan over to the next scene, and some general looking dude was talking about how they will feed their prisoners with oxen because apparently it was the worse type of meat they could give them. (But the meat looked like cooked quail or really half-assed quality meat) I think the kitchen was above where the general was sitting talking to the rest of the guards. I think he questioned what is taking so long in there. Then for some reason I grab this huge chain of the meat and start offering them to random prisoners. After that, I put back the empty link that hooked the meat together, turn around, and see some DC that looks like he's helping Leonardo (but I didn't really seen Leonardo at the time) The new DC was eating some buttered toast, and there were more on the pan being grilled, and it looked pretty buttery to me that I wanted to grab one quickly and nomnomnomnomnomnonom all over it. I do so, and then the DC talks for a while and reveals that he was pretending to help Leonardo and is in fact a part of the General looking guy's posse. Then suddenly it's back to my perspective and run like hell to the nearest elevator. It closes pretty quickly thankfully, and then I realized I had to press buttons of course, so I start spamming down the button (I had to press the down button while inside the elevator to see the numbers go down instead of having all of them at once). I keep doing so until I pressed the lowest level possible. While I waited for the elevator to reach to the first floor, I was kind of worried of what would be out there. But it ends up being the exit to get out of the place. I tried to play it off like I'm part of the group, and I see a random DC near a desk, and said "Hi" to him. (it goes from military base to a corporate building when I leave the elevator) But I think he ignores me and he probably pressed the alert button hidden under the desk. There wasn't a lot of security in the area probably because most were meeting with the General looking guy. So I dash like hell to the exit, and I see a REALLY huge DC (probably 8-9 feet), and he was wearing a fancy black corporate attire with a white dress shirt and a tie. I think he was after me and I tried to avoid him, but he catches him I think. But then the dream restarts with me back at the first floor (kind of like in those games like Uncharted 3 where if you're running from someone and they catch you, you go back to the nearest checkpoint). So instead of running like a mad man outside, I hide behind some gray marble stones to avoid the big guy again. Once he passes, I run forward, and I think I said "Teleport!!!!!" or something like that. And I probably did. That's all I remember for that one.
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Good morning! Sleept for a very long time this morning and I woke up exhausted. I needed it though, haven't gotten a good night's sleep since I started working this week. Had a short LD which wasn't very vivid, but it's something to start off the new year with. 23.00: Sleep 09.30: Short LD MILD I've just killed a bunch of animals with a filet knife. It's not like I've done it because I enjoyed it, I get the feeling that they were suffering. A woman in an excavator apparently doesn't agree with me. She tries to kill me by slamming the excavator arm down on me. I jump away and try to hide from her behind some tries. In two swift strokes all the trees are gone and I'm about to be next. I jump to the right and head through an open wooden gate. I close the doors just as she's about to crush me. "Don't forget to lock them" she yells at me. I put my hand on them and think "lock" and they do. I look around. I'm in the middle of an old Japanese style temple shaped like a square. I become lucid and figure I have to escape through the door on the other side before she can come back around. I spot a motorbike and get on. For some reason I'm holding a samurai sword. I put it away behind my back, imagining having a scabbard there just like "Blade" does. I start the bike and take off down a narrow road. I look to my left and can see the excavator going down the road on the other side. I take a shortcut which the murderous bitch didn't foresee and end up going past just behind her. I'm not going faster than 70 km/h though and that is way too slow. I look down at the engine and imagine it getting more horse powers. The engine slowly starts to produce a high pitched sound just like a formel one car does, and the pistons starts glowing just like in the cinematic intro for "Starcraft 2". I am soon going really fast, but the dream fades. 11.00: DV party I'm with some guy infront of a supermarket. He starts complaining about the price of the stuff he just bought. "I should have gotten a discount man!" he tells me angrily. We head back into the store to find out why he didn't get a discount. We arrive at the soda section and I take a look at his receipt. I grab the sign we were watching before and rip the paper off. "Here, why didn't this apply?!" I ask a girl working there. She explains to us that he couldn't take different kinds of soda, only exactly what it says on the sign. There's some commotion nearby and I check it out. In a sofa just around the corner is Xei, Limitless and Auron and a bunch of other people I don't recognise. They're watching as Xei is trying to down a shot of black booze, but he fails. "Ah don't be mean, he's not used to that" Limitless says and takes the rest of his shot. I greet with everyone. "Shouldn't we be drinking something stronger?" I ask and ask my friend to bring out some Shockwave (the liqueur) from the fridge. "Let's do tequila shots! Limitless and Matte you guys do it!" someone yells out. "Yeah sure" I say and grab a pair of sunglasses and put them on. Limitless starts taking photos of me and I flex since I have got no shirt on. 11.00: Playing Battlefield I'm playing "Battlefield" and I'm flying an old school propeller plane. I circle around a small town in search for the other plane and soon find it. My friend Henrik is watching me play. I take the other plane out with a few bursts from my machinegun. I land the plane and shoot a guy. I keep on shooting people that pops up. The weapons seem to change though, first they're really old but as the game progresses they change into World War 2 weapons, and then modern ones. I'm being cornered in a basement by everyone on the server, they're intent on taking me out. I throw grenades and shoot them in the face with a shotgun. After a long time Henrik asks if he can play. "I'll just die first" I say and check the score. 89 kills and 10 death's. "Wow I rock" I say and continue to kill people. 11.00: Wake up Amount of sleep: 12 hours Supplements: None That's it! Telekinesis in my next LD, hopefully tomorrow morning. Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
Well I lied in bed yesterday trying the WILD method. I liked listening to some relaxing sounds (water dripping into a river). And I did it so that all my body got relaxed (felt like slowly a blanket was laid on top of me from the feet and up). I lied with closed eyes focusing on some wierd patterns appearing before me. I felt like the body was totally not-awake and 3 times I felt like I a little rapid movement in my whole body and I tought "Oh this must be the thing descirbed as 'stepping into the lucid dream'". When I suddly fell asleep I dreamt I was an FBI agent. I was watching some robbers. some how I could switch from beeing the agent from beeing the robber and back. When beeing the robber I felt that my teeth was near to fall out and when I got back to the FBI agents body again I bit my teeth and felt that they were stable, went back to the robbers body and bit my teeth there and they almost fell out. I did this a couple of times and then I changed into my self (I think i was awake now) and tried to bit me teeth, and they were stable soo I went back to the dream again and did the same thing with the FBI agent and the robber again. I was like ½ aware of what was happning while I dreamt I think.
it was like entering a friends house somewhere you've been a thousand times you're not afraid of being there though you always have some small thred of reservations about having to stay there, its a little out of your comfort zone but still curiosity involves, it started as me realizing "well im here, i need to stay here, theres something good about this place, and something familiar and devestating all at the same moment" first i was introduced to this girl, i think blond girl age around ???well younger than me but not by much...there was something familiar and well having to say intimate about being so close to her again...she needed my help but she never spoke, it was almost like a sixth sense picking up on it, i had to help her, i knew about 50% that i was in a state of dreaming, this wasnt my most lucid dream but it was the most recent, so all in all the dream shifted to a very extravagant state where there was enemies all around but not seen, all i knew is if i save this girl, if i protect her, it will bring me what i was looking for, "in a sense i dont even know what that en tales so i went to a point of exhaustion doing random things that made all the sense in the LD but in retrospect it was a very abstract lucid dream and at every turn she became more apparent to me it felt as if we knew each other from long and long ago back when all life was just a mystery to uncover and we did it together from childhood we knew each other she was there in every great moment of my younger life, i was so blindly determined to be next to this Memorabilia from childhood it was like a calling i remember thinking i cant leave now, not not...just then i had succsesfully hounded off the intruders and turned to look at her being taken off by a boy, a boy i didnt recognize she looked almost sad in her eyes but a sense of familiarity towards the boy i knew she knew him and was half sure she'd be fine but it was like a voice saying its not your time, not now...i was so frustrated by all this i wanted to leave, to leave and forget all this, before i woke into conscience i clearly heard a sweet goodbye from this ghost of a friend that i mabey once thought i knew in a past i may have never had......
The dream started with me walking along a building's corridor with a person. For some reason I had to check my hands when I thought about reality checks and found my hands were blurry and hence deduced that I was dreaming and went Lucid. I also remembered a Task-of-the-month for December about flying up and finding the source of snow, so I run out of the building through glass doors and onto what looked like a parking lot. I look up and try to jump in order to fly but I easily come back to the ground. Then I remembered an entry in a post about imagining having wings to fly up, so I imagine having wings and soon felt them on my back. So I try flying up using the wings, but I feel too heavy and barely manage to lift my body a few feet all the while the wings take me backwards like I'm being pulled from behind. Then I woke up for a brief moment and shifted in my bed so a lot of details escaped me, then tried to get back to the same dream by imagining what all happened in the first dream and I soon find myself on a road(but not lucid yet) Then I again try to look at my hands and then realize again that I'm dreaming and the thoughts from previous dream come flooding all at once. Again I imagine having wings and flying up, soon enough I am flying with the help of the wings. This time though it is easier and I'm moving forwards as I go up. Soon I'm able to fly high enough to see the clouds nearing. As I'm just inches from the clouds I get very excited and flap my wings harder to breach the clouds. But as soon as I breached the clouds and came up, I felt a moment of serenity before the dream dispersed. I just joined DV yesterday, and was surprised I could try the techniques so easily This is my first DJ entry so the post might be very raw. Sorry for that

January 5, 2012 Synopsis: we take refuge from a red raging tornado, lucid, escape military and imagine a new scene - a beach Note: I woke up in the middle of the night and tried to recall the dream I just had. All I remember was that it had something to do with someone being healed. Their legs? Ayurveda? I realized now's a good time to try a lucid dream induction. I didn't, I just fell asleep instead. But its the thought that counts! Red Tornado - Calm Beach I'm walking with a group of friends in the industrial part of the city and were just having a good time. That was until I saw the red storm. "What is that? Do you see that?" A massive thunderhead was sweeping down in a funnel shape just next to the lake under the highway overpass. The storm was glowing red. And as the funnel became a tornado it was like the red was a shaft of light in its center. "We need to take cover!" There was an abandoned warehouse like building nearby. But it was also right next to the path of the red tornado. As we ran inside I thought it was strange that the red tornado was stationary. It didn't seem to be moving and it was silent. The inside of the building was weird. It was mostly empty, with dark concrete walls. Dark because of the lack of lightning, kind of like a parking garage. "There's a basement level, that'll be the safest spot" said an older man who was now leading our group that grew into 20+ people. We ran down the flight of stairs, which were really abstract. When we got down there I looked out the windows. "Why are we on the third level? I thought we were going down?" Its true, some how running down the stairs took us several floors up. We examined the staircase and determined it was missing a level or somehow that level was twisted the wrong way. We can see the ground level with the cars from way up here. Back up we go, which takes us down. All is quiet now. There's only one light on in the "living room" of this vast empty basement. Without the company of friends, this place is creepy. I don't remember why but I went down *back up* by myself - to get something or look for something. When I came back up to the basement everyone was gone. There was no way they could leave without me noticing, there's only one door and I crossed it going back up. They vanished. "Hello? Hello?" I get that strange feeling I've gotten before, they vanished because they never were. I don't want to stay here anymore, the place only feels darker. I quickly run out of the closest window, lucid. The storm is gone. Excited that I'm dreaming I observe my environment. I start with the items closest to me. The brick wall. I touch it, its gritty. There's a vase on top of a post. So shiny it looks so real! I tap on it and it makes a hollow sound. I put my palm on it and try to merge my hand into it but I can't. It feels too solid. I realized I do this a lot as a RC in waking life, and that its not a very good reliable RC for me. The military show up on the scene. What do they want? I just try to mind my own business and go the other way, into this weird cityscape that looks like a bad video game layout. But they follow me. I try to lose them and they give chase. They chase me into an area that looks like the isles of a walmart were tossed into a field, and lots and lots of boxes. Dream characters start to shout at me as the military men get closer. They're blaming, they're telling me how horrible this dream world is and its all my fault. "Get her!" I finally lose them in the field of isles and boxes. I hide underneath a table hidden by cardboard, I hope they didn't see me. I want to change this dream scene! I close my eyes and imagine the ocean instead. At first it feels like nothing is happening, I swear I'm still just underneath this table. But I give it a few moments, waiting for a cue. There. I felt it. I dunno, it just feels different. I open my eyes to a sandy strip with Hawaiians and tourists dancing. Cool. I saw people I recognized from waking life. Happy I shouted "were dreaming! were dreaming! hey, are you listening? this is a dream!". But they just nodded their head at me. I couldn't remember where I met them from, so my dream gave me dream-memories. I remembered them from a strange class. The dance is over and everyone is gathered by a stone wall. My vision blurs in and out. I can't feel the ground. There's almost no sound. I figured this was sign I could wake up anytime soon. So I didn't feel like sitting by the wall listening to some old bearded man yap on. I saw a tree with huge candy fruit of every color. I take a huge bite, but instead of something sweet, its more like a mild lemon. I woke up. Its a FA actually. I tell my sisters about my dream. My room is totally facing the wrong wall. And then I wake up for real. (or did I?)

1-5-12 [probably D3] Like the title implies, I’ve been waiting. Not so patiently. And......... LUCIDITY!!! [I think.] Okay, so I was having a dream (duh) where I was talking to my friend A while on some sort of field trip or museum tour of some sort. Without any prompt at all, I became lucid and promptly began doing what any sane veteran of lucidity lore and study would do in my situation. I started royally freaking out. Really, I was getting all sorts of excited. I even grabbed A by the shoulders and said “Hey! I’m dreaming! I know I’m dreaming!” And... shortly after that, the dream ended. I didn’t even wake up from all that freaking out, I just... stopped dreaming. Stupid happiness overload. The weird thing is that my recall of the whole thing is no more vivid than my average (recalled) dream. That might be due to my late (or technically early) bedtime last night (again, technically morning) cutting down on my sleep and clarity relatively, but... Eh. Who knows. Anyways. I am now officially a lucidity virgin no more.
8:04 AM - 1/5/2012 I'm at school and I have a netbook that I am using to browse FJ while walking to lit class. While walking there I ask someone if the teacher gave us a lot of work and they said yes and made some sort of simile. I sit down in lit and while browsing FJ a comic convinces me to shake the computer which reloads all my tabs, one of which I remember had japanese or korean writing on it, and then I start browsing through my FB feed, which has mostly pictures of girls duckfaces, but I feel like a stalker so I stop. After closing the tab, I am in the place where the last picture was taken, which is a picture of a few of my friends at some restaurant. It's night and from our table I can see out the window and I notice that there is a building that is reflecting something really bright. As I walk over to the window for a closer look, I notice there is a river between me and the building and I also see that the building is actually the Burj Khalifa and is reflecting some really small building. I exclaim, "Why am I in fucking Dubai?" and with that exclamation comes the realization that this is a dream. I turn around, everything in the restaurant is a little shaky and then I wake up.
It has been a long time since I have had any lucid dreams. Last night / this morning I was having a dream and woke up. I decided to do a reality check so I looked at the clock and noted the time. I then looked away, looked back and the time was way off. I did it a third time to see a different number and I realized I was dreaming. I remember the false awakening was so realistic. I tried to reason with myself that it was so realistic I must be awake. Not sure why I remembered to do the reality check but glad I did. I don't think the lucid dream part lasted very long. I remember vague parts of it like trying to jump up in the air and fly but it didn't work. I also remember entering a room and trying to create people. I was successful to a degree.... I don't remember the people having detail like faces, they were more like mannequins. I also remember tying to "Spin" to keep myself in the lucid dream. I believe I was successful.
Old LD from 10-22-07 I forgot to add this one from a few weeks ago. It wasn't a long one, but it had a lucid moment. I think I'll add it here because I think every moment of lucidity should be accounted for. Dreams: I had an interesting stretch of dreams this morning after a WBTB. I even had a lucid moment. In the dream I was back with my sister that has cancer. [Ususally when I dream about "my sister" I'm talking about my younger sister. My older sister doesn't show up as often.] We were in a little room that was supposed to be in her new-ish house. We were looking through all these pictures and reminiscing. Then my sister pulled out a large picture and say, "Hey, you've never seen this one yet , have you?" The picture was of myself with her 14 year old son. In the picture he looked more grown up. It was a very flattering picture of us. We both look like we could be models. I then pulled out a box that not only had pictures but a pair of my sister's socks. The socks were a pinkish tan color with chocolate brown stripes. I told her how cute they were. Then I remembered that they were similar to a pair of socks that she had supposed gotten me for Christmas last year. I figured she had gotten them at the same place. Then my mom and other sister were there too looking through these boxes with us. The next thing that I remember is walking through her kitchen and seeing the little black boy there. He was about 3 years old . At first I can't figure out why he is there. But then I remembered that she babysat for a few kids. I reached out and try to hug this little boy, but he wanted nothing to do with me. I then looked over and see two little black girls. I also try to talk with them and be friendly, but they both walked away from me. I felt bad. There seems to be a transition here. I think this is still part of the same dream, though. I was walking though a college campus with a preschool group. One of the little girls was Japanese. She seemed to like me and let me pick her up. We somehow got a little behind the others, so I finally had to run to try to catch up. At one point I tripped and we rolled on the grass. Neither of us were hurt at all. I got up and felt like something was missing, but couldn't figure out what. I looked a ways ahead and saw the last of the preschool goup head into the store/restaurant. I finally caught up and walked in. The group was now gone. I didn't have the little girl anymore. The lady inside asked me if I wanted any of the free lunch they had been serving to the preschool group. I said, "Sure". It was then I realized that my purse was missing. I started to panic. I had lost it on the college campus. I knew that it was very unlikely that I would ever see it again. I started telling the lady I was with how I had lost it. She was sympathizing with me. Then I remember saying, "You know, I think it's going to be okay. When I wake up my purse will be there. It's not really gone. This has happened to me before, and when I woke up the purse was there. I just need to try and stop worrying about it now." Then I have no idea what happened next. I do know lucidity ended (if it was ever really there to begin with. Even though I was saying that, I never had that "Ah ha, I'm dreaming" moment. This is the first time I can think of there I made reference to myself dreaming with out truly becoming lucid. ) I then remember being in my basement. There was a crack in the wall and my cat was watching some silverfish bugs come out of the crack. She was swatting her paw at them. I really think something is missing from my memory here. But the next thing I remember is being attacked by these large metal bugs. They were black and about a foot across. one looked like a spider and the other a scorpion. I was upstairs at this point and I ran down into the basement. I frantically started looking for a hammer or something to smash them with. All I could find were a pair of roller blades. I picked one one of them and when the bugs came down the stairs I started smashing them with the roller blade. Amazingly they both just fell apart like they were cheap toys. I then ran my hands through the pile of pieces. I suddenly thought about movies that I had seen. I figured it was a very good idea to put the pieces in separate bags to dispose of them, just in case they all came together and came to life again. Then my alarm went off...
Old LD from 11-7-07 I finally had a decent sized lucid dream this morning. I did a WBTB (woke up at 5:30, went back to sleep at 6:30, had the LD and woke up at 7:30). And I took some B6. Dream (Lucid): I remember being with some people and going into the Caldwell's old house on the corner. I heard someone comment how they liked what the new owners did to the backyard. The group I was with walked into the backyard. I was expecting something pretty, but all I saw was junk. The rest went through the back door and into the house. I started to follow, but then I saw my friend RD and her 19 month old daughter Catherine. I went over to her. I suddenly felt that we needed to go somewhere or we'd be late. But Catherine wanted to get on the swing in the yard. I felt impatient, but RD put Catherine on the swing. I gave in and started to push her gently on the swing. As her daughter swung on the swing, RD started to sing the most beautiful song I had ever heard. I was mesmerized. I sat down and watched RD as she sang. RD then looked right into my eyes as she sang. I had the strongest feeling that there was something I was supposed to understand. I knew she was trying to pass me a message. I suddenly realized that this was a dream and the message that I was supposed to get that I was supposed to have a baby. I felt shocked for a moment. Then realizing that I was lucid, I decided that I needed to go on and try the Task of the Month, that the message would have to wait, and I would deal with that when I was awake. There is a fuzzy moment here that I can't explain. At that moment I felt that I wasn't entirely asleep. That I was aware of my physical body still in bed and that I was only barely in the dream. But then I stood up and moved, and my dream body moved and not my physical body. I always know that when that happens after a WILD, that I am fully in the dream. So I really felt that I had just WILDed even though I'm pretty sure that I got to this point from the previous part of the dream. But however I got here, I was now running around the house trying to find a mirror. As I got to the driveway, I saw a mirror that looked like a side mirror for a truck, but it wasn't actually attached to a truck. It was about 12 inches wide. I decided that even though it was small that I would use that to help me transform into a guy. I looked at myself. At first I looked just like I did in last night's mirror LD. My hair was longer that it is and slightly curled. I concentrated on looking more like a guy. At first I just started to look kind of deformed (as is typical of many lucid mirror experiences of mine.) Finally I started to look a little more masculine. I had no make up, my skin looked a little rougher (though I couldn't quite get stubble to show). My hair, even though it was still long and blond, looked more matted. I reached down to touch my body to see if the transformation went beyond my face. First I touched my crotch. I didn't feel anything extra. Disappointed I moved up and touched my breasts. They were a bit smaller than normal. I wondered if I should keep trying to make the changes more complete. But before I could, a group of guys walked past me down in the street. I decided I needed to see if I could pass for a guy. So I ran out to them. I said to them in as much as a guy voice as I could create, "Hi, dudes." That sounded really funny to me, so I couldn't help but to giggle at little after that. The giggle did not sound man-like at all. I wondered if I had blown it. The guys didn't say anything but were looking at me like they thought I was a total loser, and that they wished I would disappear. A group of girls met up with them, and everyone was still ignoring me. So I tried again. I asked loudly, "What do you guys see when you look at me?" One of the guys snorted and said something like, "Do you really want us to tell you??" And then the others joined in, laughing and making rude comments. But none of the comments gave me the answer I was looking for--did they see me as a guy or girl ? This wasn't working out at all like I had wanted it to. So I decided to leave this rude group and try again. I saw a building in front of me that I knew had a girl's bathroom in it. I ran into the bathroom. It was full of at least ten girls all standing in front of this very large mirror. I started shouting at them, "I need to transform! Help me transform into a guy!!" I started to push my way through the girls to the mirror. I remember thinking as I shouted at them that my dream self was far more bold than my real self is. I wouldn't dream of shouting at a bunch of girls in a bathroom like that in real life. As I got to the mirror I finally took a good look at what I had looked like out there with that group. I was surprised to see that I had clown make-up on my face. I wondered if that was why the guys had treated me like that. How long had my dream self looked like that? Or was this something that my mind had created just for this mirror scene. I didn't know. I just knew that I needed to look like a guy. The clown make-up had turned into a mask in the last few seconds, so I just pulled it off. I concentrated again. This time I made much better progress. Before I knew it, I was looking in the mirror at a guy. This was definitely a guy this time. He was nice looking. He had blue eyes, fairly short dark brown hair that had a bit of curl in it. I thought, "Wow...I'm good looking." I looked at my clothes. This time I was wearing a bike jersey and biking shorts. My body looked very athletic and was definitly masculine looking. But to make sure I reached down to my crotch. There was definitely a lump down there, though I felt no sensation touching it. I reached up to check on my breasts, and found that they were mostly gone--gone enough that they wouldn't be noticable by sight. I looked at my self once more in the mirror. This time I noticed these odd boots on my feet. They looked like Roller Blades, but without the wheels. I wondered why they were on my feet. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I thought back on everything that I had done in this LD, and I was suddenly worried that if I did much more that I wouldn't be able to remember it, so at this point with "mission accomplished", I let myself wake up so I could write it down.
