    task of the month dreams

    1. April/8/16

      by , 04-08-2016 at 04:35 PM
      D1:
I only remember fragments of this dream. I went outside with some friends.

      D2:
I dreamt that I was with my brother and my cousin and we were on one of the 'Fire Emblem'-Stages from SSB4. I still have this image in my head of seeing me in third-person-view when I noticed that I WAS DREAMING (1st LD)!!!! BUT then I wanted to rub my hands to know how it feels and the moment my hands touched I was kicked out and woke up. I WAS SO UPSET! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN AMAZING DREAM!
    2. Task of the Month. I ate a few inediblle things!

      by , 04-05-2016 at 09:24 PM
Today I changed things up again. I found a new source of video's. Thx, Nimbulus. I used one to induce a nap today & my Lucid Dream lasted a really long time. I had headphones on & I wore a facemask that holds your eyelids shut. I'll start off w/ what I ate & then write my dream. I tried to eat a glass but that didn't work. I think it was because I have reoccurring dreams where I eat my teeth. ( I secretly hoped I would have become lucid in that nightmare & that would have easily have met the challenge). So I tried for what else was near me because I was afraid I Would wake up & not complete a task. I tried to each a pencil first & it was just the tip & tasted like lead, which I remembered from using all those yrs in school getting pencil lead on my hands. It was just too hard to eat the whole thing. Then, I ate cardboard. It tasted like dirt & was difficult to eat & the texture was gritty. I ate a piece of paper which didn't have much of a taste at all, it was just chewy & my saliva broke it down. I also ate a piece of wood. It seemed to take on an easier chewy sensation. The texture was splintery at first but softened in my mouth & had a earthy taste, more than a dirt taste. It seemed to almost take on a taste that wasn't bad but, nothing I'd want to try again unless I was starving....

Now back to my dream. I was in a tavern, in a town that was dusty & old & there were alot of ppl. None of which I knew. I realized I was lucid & tried to open my eyes & since I had a facemask on in real life, I just dissmissed this thought & I could suddenly see even more clearly. I immediately knew to look for objects to eat & got that out of the way. I also tried to ask ppl if they were LD's instead of DC's so I could try for another task but the DC thing eluded me so I decided I had done enough for one lucid dream where tasks were concerned & decided to try & enjoy my stay. I tried to explain to ppl that I had come into my dream conciously, hoping someone would start talking to me about the subject. Saying something like. "I'm one of your Spirit Guides", or something. I spent quite a great deal of time looking for ppl like that. But then I moved on. I was healing ppl. The conditions there were not good. I helped to heal ppl while I was there. Something compelled me to do this which was really strange. But I'd put my hands on them & pull out their illness & then cast out the feeling by difuzing the energy first. There was alot of talking & alot of levels to the building we were in.... I spent a great deal of time flying. It's like an addiction in a LD. I just do it. I don't walk very much at all now. Flying through halls is alot faster. Of course I also had to fly outside to feed the rush. This was the first time I flew up to where I was above the earth, through the clouds and amongst the stars... This was so very new to me & incredibly enlightening. Its was such a free feeling.....
    3. Hobbiton has gone to the dogs?

      by , 04-04-2016 at 04:07 PM
Had several other dreams early on but cannot now recall, I tried to use a technique to remember them but gone.

D1 - Had one dream where I thought I was dreaming and had just been in a meeting room but something was wrong. i dreamt that I went back into the dream to change something. But it was a dream

Tried to WILD but just found myself in dream, don't remember any vibrations or anything.
D2 - Went up to hobbits round front door and I kind of got stuck there for a while, I was totally phased by how the door opened. Did it open like a notmal door or did it open in the middle like two half circles or best of all I decided open into the hillside by rolling, like a slidy door. with the door rolling round and round, and back, cool!
On entering the house I was immediatley drawn to the kitchen to the left of the main hallway. I went to peek in the kitchen door and that was as far as I got. The kitchen looked nice, wooden shelves with stuff on them, and shafts of sunlight. But completely incongruous to all I had expected there was a motorcycle lite by the shaft of light Oo wt...worse still was to befall my eyes on the old fashioned silver and black motorbyke was a dog, a sheep dog :/ what has the world come too
There was much activity in the kitchen, I know not what of but I left, in disgust and woke myself up outta there.
I woke up and tried again.
This time I was out in a field of thick high corn near a path, and there was Sam Gamgee or so I imagined. (In what I remember of the hobbit he had been collecting vegetables and took them back round to the house so I tried following him). I could only see the back of Sam, if that's who he was.
He sure enough went back to the Frodo's house (?) but instead of being able to enter via the big back window, I was confronted by big white framed double glazing, and no sign of a way of entry.
So I went back round to the front of the house to try yet again,
standing in tall in old green robes with a hood, was Gandalf....nope it was another ... dog!
this time it was a big grey (gandalf the ...grey evidently) long haird dog, standing on it's hindquarters, with it's face showing
at this point I felt quite insulted at how my subconscious was seriously taking the piss out of me, and gave up.
      Dog Gawn it! for sure.

Note to self, next time remember I want an authentic hobbit house not some weird fabrication.
And then I remembered, seeing my neice's new godamm pooch and that he must of been the cause of this mess up!

    4. Task of the Month for April 2016

      by , 04-03-2016 at 09:52 PM
VERY, VERY BIG IMPORTANT NOTE (DATED ON APRIL 1ST):

Many people have been found cheating and requesting wings from fake dreams. We checked through the dreamworld, and many of those never happened. So unfortunately, we must close the ToTM tasks starting May 2016... A new voting thread will be opened tomorrow in regards of future ideas to earn your wings

      Yup, April's Fools

NEW: Do you have a Task of the Month suggestion that you would love to get chosen?
Now you have the chance to suggest new tasks of the month by clicking the
Future Task of the Month Suggestion Thread.
If you complete a current TOTM, you will be able to vote on suggestions for the next month!

      Introduction:
This topic is for the Lucid Tasks that are assigned by the Lucid Task Club and the On-Topic Administrator. Please attempt any or all of these tasks throughout the month.

Report back in this thread, even if you didn't successfully accomplish the task. Your efforts should make interesting reading! This is required in order to get credit, it is no longer sufficient just to say that you did it.

      Very important

When you complete a task: Go to your control panel, then to permission groups, and request to be in the group that applies to the task that you've done: either a basic or an advanced or both (specify in the description field if it was the bonus task). Of course you still need to post the dream here because we check. Please, make sure you post here your attempts both failures and successes, this will make this post much more dynamic and it will make OpheliaBlue/Gab ´s winging delivering much easier. It will be very appreciated!

Whoever completes any of these tasks gets the following goodies until the end of the month:
      • Your name will be displayed in ORANGE in the online members list at the bottom of the main forum page.
      • You will receive a special title and badge.
      • You will receive access to the "Lucid Task Club" which is a limited access forum for people that complete a lucid task each month. Members of this club can vote for submitted suggestions for the next month's tasks. Access to the Lucid Task Club will also grant you early access to the next month's tasks, giving you a 2-3 day window to keep your wings for the following month.

      Tasks for this month:

Basic Task i - Eat an object that is not considered edible. Describe the flavour. (Shockabsorber)

      #8 LD - Wardrobe
During NLD. I was in my room and I saw purple flowers behind my window. It was a day. I thought that they shouldn't be there. I did RC (nose plug) and get lucid surprisingly. I flew through the window near the trees. I did a flip and I thought that it was a bad idea. It started to be dark. Fortunately I teleported to the kitchen, still lucid. I went to my room again. I opened my wardrobe (I wanted to see some magical scape). I saw a blue picture, there were some things and characters. When I started to look more carefully it was less and less pretty. The wardrobe was like computer. I skipped to the next picture and another one (with woman). I didn't draw them then and I forgot how they looked like. I started to lose lucidity I think because I was thinking about saving these pictures by screenshots. I tried to flew through the wardrobe and I stuck. I rubbed my hands (?). I went to the bathroom and thought about summoning my bf but I didn't do that. I recalled a TOTM (basic II, DC's favourite dream) so I went to my mom's room. I wanted to ask her about her fav dream but during talk I wasn't sure if this is a dream. I tried to fly but I couldn't. I think that also nose plug failed. She told me that I should go if I don't want anything. So I did. I don't remember anything else so I probably woke up.

    8. Why traditional dream journals are counter productive

      by , 03-26-2016 at 03:44 PM
      Hello everybody^^

While I have not had that many lucid dreams I have years of experience trying to achieve them. I made this account solely for this post. All I seem to see over the internet is people recommending writing dreams down. Most of the time I couldn't read my hand writing, I had so switch on the lights thus becoming more awake than I wanted to be during the nights and it took ages. Now I use a pre-installed app on my phone to record my voice and deactivate the screen lock for faster access before going to bed. I also turn down the brightness and additionally use a screen filter.

This works wonders give it a try and don't hesitate to comment!!!
    9. Flying Upside Down, Fire and Ice (TOTM) (LD #265)

by , 03-26-2016 at 01:43 PM (Lucid Time!)

I remember my dad had taken me to subway, and I was wishing he hadn't because he spent the entire drive home (20+ minutes) complaining about this mushroom flavored bread and was saying that it was good in a six inch but bad on a footlong because you would grow tired of the taste. I think my mom was in the car too and she tired to get him to stop complaining. The dream went on for a long while but was pants-poopingly boring.

      -+-

I was in the woods. (It felt like the woods behind my subdivision and it felt like it was.) I remember I kept picking up twigs and snapping them into little bits. I remember meeting this girl who wore a hijab. I was telling her about how me snapping sticks was a bad thing because it meant that I was too stressed to become properly lucid in my dream.

      3...2...1...

NVM. I looked around and saw woods in every direction. I covered my eyes with my hands and told myself that when I re-opened them I would be on the beach. (I don't know why I tried this, my old-fashioned teleportation techniques almost never work.) But when I took my hands off of my head I was surprised to see that, although the woods in the immediate area was the same, I was now not far from the shore of a large lake, and across from the lake was my subdivision.

I ran towards the lake, and jumped when I reached the shore and kicked on my flying jets. I remember I sort of hovered there for a couple of seconds looking down at the water. I was hovering above it but my jets were causing the water to boil and creating a cloud of steam. Dream Logic told me that this was why so many of my dreams had fog in them. (Granted, this dream did meet the dream sign of it being overcast.) In fact, I think it was snowing. But the lake wasn't frozen.

I flew forwards towards my neighborhood. I remember I was flying very low over the water, and that was a problem because there was a large cinderblock wall. (Not there IWL, obviously. The lake isn't there IWL). I came within half a second of smacking face first into that thing before I managed to get flying to pull up higher than a few feet off the water. (Though it probably wouldn't have hurt me.) Internal logic told me that sometimes I can only fly below certain altitudes because my fire jets are pushing against the ground or water.

So I got over the wall and was now able to easily maneuver in every direction. I flew up, past my house and around. I made my way down the street. There was a school bus getting loaded up with kids. I remember thinking that I was probably dreaming of it because on Thursday, I was driving to college and got stuck behind a school bus. All the little kids were pretty impressed with my idea to shoot by on a column of fire.

It was then that it crossed me that I should do something other than just flying. I looked in the sky and saw the moon in the sky through a gap in the clouds. (The sky was weird, brighter than day, but darker than night, a sort of deep Indigo with a crescent moon directly above). I decided I should fly to the moon and try and land there without making a crater this time. I started flying towards it. I tried to get more power and only focus on the moon so that it would start getting bigger. But the moon didn't seem to be getting any closer. I then thought of the Task of the Month. I figured if I wasn't going to the moon, I could at least try that. I remembered that the goal was to create fire/ice in your hands. I looked down and saw that my feet were generating jets of flame, but my hands were not.

I did a 180 in the air and flipped around, creating flames in my hands and using those to propel me, essentially doing a handstand in the air. Just like with my feet, where my right side projects blue flame and my left projects orange, my hands apparently did the same thing. I then focused in on capturing the details. The flames didn't look all that spectacular, the colors seemed kind of washed out. (The whole dream had a color palate of blues and grays though.) But really projecting fire is nothing new to me. It has the sensation of sort of pushing your energy or chi down your arm and manifesting it as the flame, and you maybe feel a little heat on your hands or feet. I wondered why I was even bothering since march was almost over and there would be a new TOTM soon, but I could at least have wings for a couple days. Wings... Maybe that's a good TOTM for next time I thought to myself. Grow or Manifest wings in a dream.

Okay, but I want to do fire AND ice. I then focused on the right hand switching to projecting ice. The dream went third person as the blue flame changed into a puff of snowflakes, and with a jet of fire on only one hand I lost control and fell from the sky. Back to first person. I fell into the street head first. Thankfully the street cracked rather than my skull.

"Ass tits, not again!" (In retrospect that was a pretty stupid time to try and make ice.) Also why am I cursing 'not again'? This is the first time I've tried this. Something then fell off of the moon and would have landed on top of me if I hadn't rolled out of the way. It was a four-sided dice, with a circle, a five pointed star, a six-pointed star and a 12 pointed star on it. Marcus came over and was really excited because it was made of moon rocks and he wanted to study it.

Come to think of it, why do I always curse with 'Ass Tits' in Lucids? I should make it a dream goal to figure that one out...
    10. #216 - Are you my dream guide?

      by , 03-24-2016 at 11:33 PM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
Another lucid there was more to the dream prior to getting lucid but there wasn't much. Last night I meditated for 10 minutes and had a more realization about how being too tired before going to sleep can reduce the chances of me getting lucid. So when I stay up for another 20 minutes and then feel really tired and 'ready' to sleep, I find it harder to dream journal or wake up during the night for LD practices. I decided that this probably affected how tired I am when I do my WBTB, and that I should extend my WBTB's. During my WBTB this morning I did the usual toilet run and mirror RC and then came back to bed and started reading my book. The following lucid was actually 1 of my best in terms of stability and control, while also being able to properly remember dream tasks.

      Dream
I'm walking home from the village, I've already passed the school and I'm pretty close. The road is the usual unlaned p.o.s. that it is, with the boughs of manuka trees arching overhead forming a sort of tree cathedral. It's quite a sunny day, there isn't much going on. I start realizing that this is a dream, I decide to stabilize myself and feel the sensation of touch. Being able to feel my dream body so clearly tethers me there and stabilizes, but I notice that the world around me darkens. Fuzz. I need it to be light! What makes things light? Fire!
I start focusing on creating fire with my mind, but it's weird.. This is one of those dreams where the world is down-to-earth and things like flying are difficult. I point the palms of my hands at each other and will there to be a spark of fire, but there's nothing..
A blanket of darkness covers everything now, but I spot a couple street lights in the background of the dream. I have a certain understanding that if I can position my hands looking up
at the light then I can trick the dream into thinking it's a fire spark. Doing this the palms of my hands suddenly have a ball of fire growing between them. I lift it up and throw it onto the tree above, it slowly spreads and the world around me begins to brighten with the flickering tongues of flame.
The dream stabilizes once more, I focus on my body now and maintain the sense in the back of my mind so I don't wake up. It's properly night time now and I decide on doing the TotM
"I'm ready for my dream guide!" I shout out to the world, I start heading back down the road towards the village.
"I'm ready for my dream guide!" I continue to hail, above the power lines crossing the street I spot a flying batlike demon. Blagh, no thanks. I keep moving on until I see the group of people that I had seen earlier on in the dream (before I got lucid I passed them on my way home). I spot a very pretty blonde, I approach her and say "are you my dream guide?"
"no" she says, "But would you like to come with me?" a coquettish smile on her face. For a moment I feel the full of caveman mode, but say "no thanks" and leave. About 20 metres later I've passed the school and reached the end of the road, leading to the roundabout by the village. I spot another cute blonde (what's with me and blondes lately?) and think that she probably isn't my dream guide. Butttt... She's cute. I decide to go after her and ask anyway

It was about here that I woke up.
    11. LD: Real and False TOTM (Making fire and Ice)

      by , 03-14-2016 at 09:06 PM
      Lucid dream from Saturday Night:

I did an unintentional WBTB where I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep and finally drifted into dream mode. I sitting at a table with Marie, my best friend from high school. I was already lucid I remembered that I really wanted to do a Task of the Month. I was trying to remember what they were. I knew there was one where I had to ask a DC a question. Why was I having such a hard time remembering--I had recently done this one. But I thought it would be fun to do it again with my friend.

Finally I decided that Task was to ask a DC what their favorite thing was to do in a lucid dream. That sounded right. (Obviously it wasn't right, but now in retrospect, it's nice to have done something a little different since I had done the real Task already.)

So I said to Marie, "Tell me what you like to do in your lucid dreams?"

She suddenly perked up at the mention of lucid dreams, "Ahh, lucid dreaming...that's where I like to fly and do flips in the air."

As soon as she began to talk I suddenly remembered that Task about making fire and ice.

"That's cool." I quickly said to her. And then said, "You can also do this in lucid dreams."

I held out my hands. Unlike my dream where I had done this previously I held each hand in a separate cupped position. I concentrated on making a fire. First an orange glow appeared in each hand. I concentrated harder. I wanted flames. Soon I started seeing some detail. But something was odd. I could now see waving orange and yellow flames, but they looked like a cartoon fire. This was quite different that my other recent experience with making fire.

I thought about trying to make the flames look more real. But then suddenly, the flames felt hot. Very hot. That was different as well. I extinguished the flames quickly.

Now I needed to make ice. With my hands still cupped separately I concentrated on forming some ice. Soon I saw two shapeless white blobs form in my hands. I knew it was supposed to be ice. But it wasn't very good ice. It didn't even feel cold. I saw that I was close to a freezer. I walked to the freezer and opened it. Inside I saw some ice cubes sitting there in an otherwise empty freezer. I told myself that ice looked like that. So I needed to try again--this time with a good example in front of me that I could model. Within seconds I had exact copies of the ice cubes in my hands now. I had done it.

With the Tasks done I decided to find a way outside and fly and decide what else I wanted to do. I often make decisions while I'm flying.

I saw a large open window and flew out. I thought about what Marie had said about doing flips in the air. It had been a very long time since I had done dream flips. I suddenly really wanted to do some. I first tried a front flip. It felt so real as I did it. I tried a back flip next. That one felt really nice. Just a touch of dizziness while the world turned all around me. I did it again. and again.

Then I noticed that I was on a college campus. I looked down and saw a food stand. This stand had several different kinds of licorice.

I love licorice. I reached for a package of black licorice. But before I could eat it I woke up.
    12. Dream Guides (DEILD)

      by , 03-14-2016 at 01:11 AM
Ritual: I thought it might be nice to get lucid again, so I read DV before bed, though my motivation was considerably reduced when I realized that the time change had caught me unawares, and I was going to bed an hour later than I had intended! Also drank some sage and mugwort tea before bed. Those are the only relevant factors I can think of. WTB at 3am, woke 9:15am with dream.

DEILD: I came out of an NLD and started going over it in my mind, when it dawned on me that I had not fully woken up. I was in a hallway carrying a large package; to confirm, I tossed it in the air and sure enough, it hovered for a moment before drifting back down. It occurred to me that maybe I should take up the habit of tossing things into the air in waking life as a kind of RC. But it would have to be something smaller than a large box, something more like a coin or small ball. I produced a small black ball and tried again. To my amusement, this one behaved as if gravity were operating normally. Maybe not such a good RC unless I actively intervene: I tossed it again and concentrated on holding the ball in the air. That worked well enough. I resolved to spend more time in WL trying to move small objects with my mind.

I exited the building and thought I might try a TOTM. Even though I had just reread the list before going to bed, I now realized that I couldn't remember any of them. Thinking hard, I finally recalled the one about the dream guide.

"I'm ready for my dream guide!" I shouted. I've never had a dream guide before, so I had no expectations. I shouted a few more times until a woman showed up. She was of hefty build, with straight shoulder-length dark hair, and looked to be in her late forties. On the right lapel of her uniform-like black jacket, resembling that of a hotel clerk (or more to the point, a tour guide) was a name tag reading "RUSH." There was something very blank and bureaucratic about her demeanor that immediately put me off.

"Take me on a tour," I instructed.

"A Grand Tour?" she asked. Lately I've been reading about the Grand Tours eighteenth-century travelers would take in Italy, so I assumed this was merely waking life residue.

"Take me on a tour of Hogwart's," I proposed instead.

The woman must not have understood, because she started saying things about temperature and time that sounded like the details of a technical process—brewing coffee, I guessed. I was getting impatient.

"This isn't working out," I told her. Perhaps I should have been more patient, but she reminded me of one of those blank, automaton-like DCs that never have anything interesting to say. I turned my back and walked away, determined to try again.

"I'm ready for my dream guide!" I resumed shouting, trying to muster a sense of optimism. Nothing changed at first, but I persisted, shouting about five times before another figure drew my attention. He was a short brown-haired man standing next to a bar, gazing at me with a slightly amused expression. As I walked over, I was startled to see that he was the spitting image of Michael J. Fox. This perplexed me, because I have no particular attachment to that actor, nor did I recall having encountered his image recently in waking life. I remembered that in WL he had developed a terrible disease and I couldn't remember if he was still alive. This DC looked like the younger version of him from the 1980s or '90s, and his cheerful confidence created much more favorable impression than the last DC.

"Are you my dream guide?" I asked uncertainly. He replied with something casual, along the lines of, "If you want me to be."

"Let's give it a try," I said. "First, take me somewhere beautiful. Then, take me somewhere that I will find interesting." Since I'd never had a dream guide before or thought much about their proper role, now I was acting on the assumption that their job was to give me tours. In retrospect that's kind of funny.

As we walk out of the building together, he expresses a sexual interest. I'm surprised at his bluntness, but tell him okay, it's natural that there might be sexual tension between us, I can accept that. He seems relieved, telling me that many of the applicants ruled it out from the start. In fact, a lot of the essays he received closed on that note. I commiserate, noting how even from a purely rhetorical standpoint, that does seem like a terrible way to end an application essay.

We continue through a park-like setting, and as we descend along a wooded path I see a tree with several conjoined trunks. Emblazoned across it like a light projection is the name of a website, "www.tabu.com." I look again to make sure and the text shifts. "www.tabut.com." I wonder what it means. Is this in reference to the Polynesian word "tabu," the basis of our English "taboo"? [I looked them up as I was writing this and...seriously, it's a big world out there, how could these websites not exist?]

We walk right to the edge of a wide shallow lake. I realize we'll probably need to travel somewhere by a means other than walking, and let him know I'm familiar with some basic methods: "How are we going to get there? I can spin and teleport, if you like. And I know how to fly."

He offers another possibility: "See that brown line?" He points to somewhere behind us. I look back, and without thinking about it we automatically start rising into the air and drifting toward a brown line that runs across the grass of the lawn. "That's where we'll transition," he explains. We start gliding toward it, and sure enough, a moment later we are flying across a completely different scene.

The previous landscape was park-like, but we emerge higher in the air over a vast landscape. Distant hills, distinctive coloring, shades of red in the earth and sky. Everything becomes a bit clearer. "Okay, this is beautiful," I acknowledge aloud. He's definitely succeeded in the first task I set him.

We drift closer to the ground and I notice an odd detail: an enormous fence of thick horizontal wires strung between vertical poles that must be at least 50 feet high, stretched across a valley between two steep hills. There are only a few of the wires, maybe eight, strung in pairs of two. It would be no barrier for a person at all, or any earthly creature—it's so big it doesn't even obstruct the view—but then I see what it is keeping in. They look like giant green mantis-like creatures, clearly insectoid, but enormous. Despite the monstrosity of the creatures, the enclosure reminds me of a nature reserve. Are the fences for our protection, or theirs? Perhaps both.

I think about how my second instruction to my guide had been to take me somewhere interesting, and it would certainly be interesting if one of those things got out! However, I decide not to vocalize my thoughts or deliberately influence the course of events, instead waiting to see how things will play out.

One of the creatures catches sight of us and scuttles over, moving with astonishing rapidity for its size. It crosses several hundred yards in a matter of seconds. It pushes against the fence, snapping at us with its mandibles. It has surprisingly long reach and the wires of the fence are being bowed out by the weight of its body—they hold, but we have to dart away very quickly to avoid the initial attack. I realize the safest course is to fly directly upward, well out of its reach, in case the fence breaks. I can feel my adrenaline pumping and have to admit, that was definitely an interesting experience.

Abruptly the environment changes and we are back in a room that I think I recognize from earlier in the dream—but way earlier, the NLD sequence before I even got lucid. I realize the dream is ending, but I'm very pleased with how well this dream guide was able to fulfill my requests. "Can I meet you again?" I ask. His acquiescence is as casual and noncommital as when I first asked him to be my guide.

    13. Fire in my hands - Bonus totm ✨

      by , 03-09-2016 at 04:56 PM
Got Lucid this morning and accomplished the Bonus totm!
After wilding into the dream through swimming in the pool I imagine as I am becoming aware I am in transition to sleep -

Went to bed early - maybe 8.30ish and took Melatonin and 100b6
Slept very well and felt like I woke up on each dream ending. First wake up was at about 10.30pm then at 1pm the 3pm

Sat up in wbtb around 3.30am till 4.30. Did some massage on my back and sat with mantra's and general Mild behaviour - expecting to Lucid when I am asleep next.

Set up for wild with earplugs/fan and bed raised. Lay for quite a while and at some point feel my legs , hands twitching a little ... It is possible I had transitioned at this point but I didn't realise - soon after this I fall asleep for a short while.

AT 5am I turn over onto my side carrying on with basic visualisations of symbolic dream places and DC's and mantra of getting lucid.
Soon after I feel transition feeling and manage to raise myself consciously out with my dream body ( first time done so carefully and consciously I fall back into body this time though and stay with the transition feeling. Soon I am 'Swimming' my way into the dream with full awareness I am exiting my body - Wild - felt great - and I imaging coming up out of the pool in a hotel pool overlooking a built up area in the city. I remember the Bonus totm so 💥

I remember to make fire/ice in my hands task.I put my hands out in front of we. First I 'will' fire to appear then I change to imagining

' Wow I have flames of fire coming out of my hands!' - It happens and I see small flames appear in each palm of my hand!👍
They are tiny at first but then they get to about 10cm high - the sensation doesn't feel out of the ordinary - I am very happy I managed the task ... I then allow the flames to eat up my hands,I watch on as my hands disintegrate and melt into drops - dripping on the floor. Later I have my hands back and imagine ice in my hands ; soon long icicles grow from the palms of my hands - cool

This is one of the longest and highest Lucids I have had- I went about a lot in the city and marvelled over many sights and exchanges with DC'c

At some point I decide to lay down and see what falling asleep in the Lucid feels like. I see a comfy looking rock - I go over and lie down on it and feel exited to fall asleep tin the dream - I look around me and there are some insects and bugs around ( I am aware this would be yucky and possibly frightening if I wasn't lucid) I try to feel happy with them there... I transition but into almost waking - I hang on and Deild back in to my dream. I am on a bus, a friend is handing food around - it's a strange meat soup. I go around with G and a wild looking lady who is known for her super powers. We go back to my house which has glass mirrors panelled on every wall! I know she could smash and destroy them all as that's what she does so I ask her not to and she promises she won't. Later I hear she stayed in a hotel for a night with my husband G and It felt fine with me to share him with her.

Soon after this I decide to spin and use spinning as a teleportation to a beach - as I spin I see white light gaining intensity all around me but end up waking, I have tried it a few times now and this seems to happen - I will try to maintain more awareness with the spinning thing ... Or maybe it's not for me

The is is interesting to think about - the phycology of this powerful woman who smashes glass in my house with me & G etc...

I am the most cruel person in the whole dream world. No kiddin'. But about that later.

I slept ~5h and I woke up, tried WILD/DELID a while but nothing happened. I couldn't recall much and I couldn't sleep so I got up, played some logic games on my phone. I was awake ~1,5-2h, counting and practise awareness a bit before sleep.

      #5 & 6 LD - Wandering, TOTM and stuff
I was lying on my bed, looking at the floor. My carpet in RL looks like this: <KLIK> and in the dream one of these swirls created a word "Sen" which in Polish means "Dream". Also the floor was closer than in RL. (I don't know if I did RC, maybe the one with breath check without moving, anyway I get lucid). I got up fast, I saw a little black&white kitten which looked like he was waiting till I wake up. And what did I do? I ignore him insolently! He even run away, I went immediately out of my room. (That's why I'm so cruel - I understand flying, superpowers, dragons, aliens, fantasy castles, ANYTHING BUT THE CAT. I'll never forgive myself that! He was so tiny and cute and I just ignored him, probably because I didn't want to lose lucidity but still that's inexcusable. Only cat lovers'll understand that :c) So the dream was pretty vivid and light however I was rubbing my hands for a while. I wasn't calm, I didn't know what to do. I went to the bathroom. Before I opened the door I was hoping there will be some mountains but it didn't. I went in and tried to fly away through the window but I couldn't so I gave up. I don't know if I should try anyway but I was thinking that I don't wanna lose my time for one thing. I went to the kitchen, behind the window I saw a little snow on the ground - it was day. The door were open a bit and I saw there a bag but I ignored this a well. Now I know that I should interact more with the surroundings. I recalled a TOTM with a dream guide. I was saying "I'm ready for my dream guide" (twice I think 'cause I did a mistake). I saw that some character are passing in my room. He was tall and massive, I think he had black coat and bird's head (or sth like that). It was a bit creepy but I went in. Instead of him I saw my aunt sitting on my bed. I asked if she is my DG, I think she answered sth but I don't remember. Then, the younger version of her went through the door and there were 2 of them. The new one said sth as well but it wasn't much important (like "so so"). I lose control and wake up to another dream, as well I was on my bed. I check if this is a FA and it was so I get lucid again. This time it was dark. I get up fast, the dream was blurry and I was afraid of waking up. I was rubbing my hands and shouting commands (+ 1 request) but it didn't work. Maybe I wasn't certain enough. Once I was hearing myself and another time not. As in my previous LD I put up the blinds and it was a little brighter. On my bed was a camera. I thought about talking with my subconscious but I knew that I have lack of stabilization so I wasn't even trying. And I woke up in RL because I couldn't maintain the dream.

    15. LD/TOTM--Childhood Crush and Asking DC What Their Favorite Dream Was.

      by , 03-06-2016 at 10:02 PM
I did a Wake Back To Bed this morning. I was actually awake for several hours before falling back to sleep. But I decided to give it a shot anyway. I lay back down with my mp3 player. I was listening to U2's album October playing super softly. I suddenly felt myself start to drift, so I decided to turn off the music. Then after a while I realized I was still hearing music, so I turned the music off again. (I'm not sure which one was the real one and which was the dream).

I remember being in my mom's house. We had talked about remodeling it. I walked out to the garage and suddenly realized that it was in the middle of being remodeled. When did that happen? There was a huge round hole in the side of the garage and the whole garage was about ten times its usual size. The front was gone and huge stone pillars were being built on what was to be a beautiful new entry of the house in front of the garage.

The next thing I remember is seeing a friend from high school. I had had a crush on this friend for a few years and he didn't ask me out for a real date until I had gone away to college and was serious with another guy. Yep, sad story.

Anyway, in the dream I was glad to see him and we were laughing and having a good time. Then suddenly he morphed into a guy I had had a crush on in the fifth grade and who moved away so I had never kept in touch with him. Oh, how I had liked that guy. His name was Jason and he sat next to me. He had long dark brown hair and light brown skin (he may have been part Mexican or Native). He was always really nice to me and a protector of sorts. The guy who sat on the other side of me was often a jerk to me, and Jason would stand up for me. As a shy fifth grader I thought that was so amazing.

Sooo, we were in a van and were talking, flirting and laughing. At some point I became lucid. I told him I wanted to take him flying. As is typical in my lucid dreams I didn't immediately realize that since I was dreaming he wouldn't be real. I kept on thinking he was really there, and now since I was lucid I could take him flying and show off a little.

I held on to his arm and we took off into the air. We were still at my mom's property and we started flying above it. I was having trouble getting much height. Every time I thought we were high in the air I realized our feet were about to drag the ground. I told Jason to start moving his arms and hands like he was paddling though water. He did and we started getting higher.

I told him I wanted to fly to the lake (now we were back to where I live). As we flew to the water I saw that it was more like a ride at Disneyland. I could see two whales that reminded me of the whales on the Storybook Land canal ride. As I got closer I could even see the whales' eyes open and close. I thought that was really cool. I landed in the water next to a waterfall and we swam a little. Then I suddenly realized that Jason had morphed into a baby.

The absurdity of that reminded me that I was lucid dreaming and that I really needed to get serious and do a task.

The first task that came to mind was the Ask a DC to share their favorite dream. I looked around and saw a young boy who looked to be about seven years old. He had brown hair, a sprinkle of freckles across his nose, and two front teeth that seemed too big for his mouth. I approached him and asked if he would tell me his favorite dream. He crinkled up his nose and gave me a mischievous look and thought for a second. Then he started, "Well, there were these two clown fish. And there were also these two dirty people. And they were swimming. And then they bumped into a log." He stopped and laughed. That was apparently the end of the dream. I wanted to clarify--in his little kid "accent" I couldn't tell if he had said "clown fish" or "clam fish", so I asked him. "Clowwwwn fish", he emphasized.

Cool. It was a very simple kid-like dream. But it would work for the task. But as always, I wanted to repeat the task and see what other results I could get.

I looked and saw a guy next to me. I was pretty sure it was my childhood crush, now morphed back into an adult, but looking a little different. I asked him if he would tell me his favorite dream. He grinned at me and started, "There were these two clown fish and two dirty--"

"No-no--You don't get to repeat the kid's dream. You have to come up with one of your own." I interrupted. [Yep, my mind is always trying to cheat a little.]

He stopped and I could tell he was pondering. So I looked around and saw another guy standing not far behind the kid. He looked like Bill Clinton, yet the lower half of his face was all narrow and pinched together like an alien face. I called out to him "Hey Bill Clinton Alien Dude. Tell me your favorite dream." The Bill Clinton Alien Dude stood there looking at me with a small, thoughtful, but creepy smile.

      I suddenly jerked awake.
