First attempt at DEILD last night, Im quite good at remembering what I said before I went to bed, so I did mantra for alittle while before I went to bed, saying "Ill stay still after the dream". I do remember waking up after a dream, but I got HH so fast I moved. Ill try again tomorrow. Other fragments of dreams. Non Lucid. Taking on IRC with nito89. Something about america. Poor recall last night.
I was in the living room, with mom. MY mom looked at me and told me that If i had been there for her more, that she wouldn't be unhealthy right now. I asked her why she thought that, she didn't know. The next thing I knew, I was in some strange house, with cousins of mine. They where eating out of what I knew was Berrys candy stash. I came up to a big candy stash and contemplated eating it all. I picked up a giant sweet tart bigger then I am. I was about to eat it, then I woke up.
Good morning, everybody. Dream #1 I was in a drug store, like a Walgreens. But it was huge, like a Super Wal-Mart. I was probably with someone else, possibly my sister. We wandered around the outer aisles of the store, going counter-clockwise. We went past the pharmacy counter, which was at the back end of the store. Just past the pharmacy section, my sister turned left down an aisle. I waited for her at the end of the aisle, possibly sitting on the floor and playing with some of the products from the store. Somehow or other it became apparent that my sister had got some shampoo. It may have been in a pink bottle. She may have gotten some bottles of some other brands of shampoo. My sister and I were now with a group of other people. The shampoo was brought up in conversation. But I realized that we hadn't brought the shampoo back with us. We now had to run to go get it. I may have been in the lead. Along with my sister there may have been a couple other people from the group. We ran through an area that looked like a big Warehouse store, like a Sam's Club, with huge shelves in an enormous, concrete building. But it also felt a bit like a Toys R Us. We ran to one of the really big aisles. I ran left down the aisle. There was a whole display of shampoos. Some of the shampoo bottles were scattered all over the floor. I may have picked up another pink bottle of shampoo. It was probably Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo.
Lucid I wake up in my house, not my bed this time.I fall down , get up and hit the wall , i feel very unstable.I rub my hands and start touching objects near me.When i feel that the dream is stable enough , i go to the corridor and see front door open.I can see outside and go out .Everything seems as real as in real world,i remember celebrity i wanted to kiss i start calling her name and after few seconds hear steps coming from behind the corner.I get to her and she says hi , i tell her i want to kiss her and she smiles , so i proceed. After few seconds of kissing i feel my tongue so damn sore that i stop and everything goes black.I try to DEILD , can still feel vibrations but after some time i'm still not in a dream,it turns out i was already in a dream and my alarm wakes me up for real that time.

I was in an airplane. Or a place. I was trying to avoid someone. Or rather, someone was trying to avoid everyone else. An office? Jiji threw a cup of coffee at me. I looked at her, reprimanding. Manila? We talked about how I have things I have to do, and so changing clothes again just wasted time, and that I'll miss my meetings/games. I told her I play table-top games. I think I mentioned chess and another one. I was walking on board a plane. Leaving for Manila. I was going back home in a day or two. I was riding a vehicle with some people. Found a good place to park. Met with Ms. Sol in a stadium. Night. She was talking to someone. I overhead something about an agreement with DS to hold meeting in the company premises. I felt regret for not finding more people, and missed opportunity.

Because I just discovered that every awakening from the timer, is an oppurunity to DILD, WILD DEILD, MILD you name it. But the timer method made me have 8 false awakenings this time, and I did a reality check on all of them, but I didn't become lucid. The reason was that the reality check I used didn't worked for me. I did atkins breathe through mouth reality check, but when I did everything appeared normal, no air came out of my mouth. But I am grateful to that it didn't worked, because I discovered that false awakenings is the best oppurtunity to have a lucid dream. And now I know that the timer method induces it.
I saw a white horse and felt compelled to ride it. I jumped up on it and began riding it bareback. (I rode horses bareback years ago in my youth but haven't ridden a horse in many years). I began riding on a road in the mountains near my home but I felt that the asphalt may hurt the horse's hooves and I didn't know if it had on horseshoes, so I rode it onto a dirt road. The horse was easy to handle, I felt completely at ease while riding, in fact I never felt so comfortable on a horse before. I woke up with a very good feeling about the experience.
[+]At a dinner party, the R.A. from my old dorm was there as well as my boss. Childhood School I was in kindergarten again. Me and a few other kids had done something wrong and were going to be punished for it. There was some sort of class celebration going on and everyone knew we were in trouble. I still had my current maturity/mind so I thought it was funny that they were going to punish me. I had the feeling that nothing they could use to punish me would really do anything to me, so I took a few of the cookies and mini doughnuts on the counter to take with me. (Sort of like how if a grown man is told to go sit on time out for something childish, but didn't want to cause a scene he would simply sit down and laugh it off.) Out of the Hospital I was in hospital with a bunch of other patients. We were bed-ridden and had been together for a few weeks. Everyone there was pretty funny. It was my last day in the hospital and I was saying goodbye to all of my new friends. There was a fat girl who had been in an almost full body cast who told me that she liked me. I felt bad to reject her feelings but there was no way I would be with her. Old Creeper In my house and there are lots of people over for some reason. Another dinner party? That would make four parties/special events in one night. I go downstairs and there is a creepy old man in our kitchen. He is in a trench-coat and he's not wearing anything underneath it. I can sense he is sexually perverted and wants to do something to the young girls who were at the party. I immediately confront him telling him I know what he is up to. Even though no one else in the crowd seems to notice what he's up to. He looks at me creepily and tells me that it doesn't matter, he seemed to think that I couldn't do anything to stop him. He starts coming after me and I run upstairs to where the girls are playing in our play-room. Before I get there an old lady pulls me in to my room. A younger guy with black hair comes into my room, he is some sort of henchmen or person working with the old creepy guy. As he walks in I see in slow motion the old lady smoothly pickpocket something from him. I could tell she was a world class expert, something her age had brought her. She uses some sort of mind trick and smooth talks him to think he needs to go back downstairs. She then turns to me and lets me know that she'll take it from here. Tunnel Tour I was late for some sort tour of a vast underground tunnel expanse. It felt like it was some sort of a class I was taking and I was late for it. I get to the room where all the equipment is to put on before you go down but it's all gone. I was to late and the tour had set off without me. One of the tour guides lets me know that me and another girl had both been late, and that he was there to guide us down to the rest of the group. So it turned out alright and I got a private tour with some girl.
Bihon's Dream Fragments: Air Hockey, turns out not to be, but rather a cheese game, my uncle, talk, on the computer in my room. Something really dark, a happening, a boy, death? My friend's grandparents warning be about something...
This is a bit of a late entry, albeit my first dream journal entry, but nevertheless I remember some of my dream. I mainly remember traversing around the upstairs portion of a mix between my high school and college, it's main feature being a wide set of stairs that goes down to the first floor. I suddenly felt dizzy near the staircase and fell on my knees, just a few inches away from the stairs. I looked up and saw one of my previous teachers -- my Digital Electronics teacher -- and said hi to him. I had the knowledge of myself graduating, so my teacher looked a bit surprised to see me. He was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and had khaki pants accompanied with black shoes; I then went forward and proceeded down the stairs, tumbling to the bottom... ... I then questioned the fact of not feeling any pain. At the bottom, I realized I was dreaming, but I hadn't reacted quick enough to my fading scenery. Upon waking up, I had done no attempt at a DEILD or a WILD, for the thought of doing so didn't cross my mind. In order to have stayed in my dream, I could've rubbed my hands together, or I could've stayed perfectly still when I awoke, in order to possibly enter the dream again. I didn't, though, but I must be wary of the options in the future.
Evolventity's Dream August 29, 2011 (Lucid Dream) | Fell asleep ~9AM, woke up at 1:45PM. -I'm in front of the mail boxes by the garbage bins in my apartment complex. I somehow realized that I am dreaming. Of course, I forget every other task I planned on doing. I thought to myself, I always fly in dreams, but usually near ground level. Maybe I should fly away from Earth! So with the spark of my will, I began rising, in a standing position, higher and higher. I could see the Earth taking it's spherical shape. I was approaching the peaceful cumulus humilis clouds. It would be nice to rise through them. Suddenly, I see trees surrounding me and I am passing them. They're probably Douglas Fur trees, common in Northern California. I find myself on the ground, just off the road of my favorite campsite in Emigrant Gap. It's night time. I see a small bear a couple of yards down the road to the left as I stand somewhat hidden behind a tree. I know I can easily make the bear disappear with the snap off my finger if he tries attacking me. He walks closer and close and snap my fingers as he passes. I wake up.
Anyone who has been reading my posts /replies in this forum knows I advocate visualization to induce lucid dreaming. I thought some of you might get a kick out of an article I wrote sometime back about hypnosis in general. Hopefully, some of you will come away from the article with a better understanding on how the sleeping brain works and think of creative ways to visualize yourself into a lucid dream experience. Hypnotism Revealed "People have been using hypnosis for about 230 years to reveal lost memories or make suggestions to the subconscious mind. Franz Mesmer stumbled upon the technique in the 1700's (mesmerizing, animal magnetism) but proceeded to completely miss the point. James Braid, taking a more scientific approach, coined the term hypnotism in 1841. We all have the image in our collective conscious of the exotic gentleman with the swinging pendulum inducing a hypnotic state. He seemed to know something we didn't. Read on and that will no longer be the case. The human race experiences self-hypnosis every day. We don't think of it as self-hypnosis, however. We think of it as falling asleep. When we are awake and active our brains are in what has been termed the Beta brainwave state. When we are relaxed, watching television or looking at the ocean, our conscious mind slows down and enters the Alpha brainwave state. In the processes of falling asleep, meditation and hypnosis the subsequent state; the Theta brainwave state, is where all the magic happens. If the Theta brainwave state is allowed to occur then the Delta brainwave state (deep sleep) soon follows. If one accepts this scientifically proven brainwave transition to sleep then I suggest that this is knowledge we can use. In the Theta brainwave state one is neither asleep nor awake. The Theta state is a different level of awareness as our conscious mind has loosened it's control of the thought process. It is the inability to reach the Theta brainwave state that is the root of most sleep issues. Simple Hypnotism To hypnotize someone (or yourself) one must induce the Theta brainwave state. This requires that you relax the subject and apply one simple technique. You must get them to visualize, via the mind's eye, something. One could hold up a non-threatening object; lets say a coin or marble, in front of the relaxed subject's eyes and suggest that they close their eyes and imagine the object in their mind. Have the subject then imagine a series of non-threatening objects... all while speaking in an unemotional tone. This monotone speech pattern is important as you do not want emotion to play a part in the hypnosis induction as it is counter-productive. If the subject is too relaxed (i.e. laying down on a bed) they might fall asleep so you must continually gage where they are at in the sleep process. Let me state, once again, that hypnosis and falling asleep are part of the same process. Once the subject is in the Theta brainwave state you can begin making suggestions. Common uses for hypnosis are smoking cessation, weight loss and anxiety reduction. A brief theory about a more effective hypnosis technique: If one accepts modern sleep and dream theory then the induction of sleep after a hypnosis session could greatly enhance the effectiveness of the procedure. Modern sleep theory suggests that the human brain crunches data, during sleeping and dreaming, from our day's experiences; discarding unneeded information and assimilating important experiences. In theory, suggestions from a hypnotic session could take on greater significance if sleep were allowed to happen, even for a short duration, directly after the hypnosis. A word about why visualizing induces the Theta brainwave state and, therefore, the hypnotic state. In the rear of our big human brain there exists a smallish chunk of gray matter called the Occipital lobe. This area contains the Primary Visual Cortex and the Secondary Visual Cortices. The combination of the Secondary Visual Cortices is generally referred to as the Secondary Visual Cortex. When you visualize you are stimulating the Secondary Visual Cortex. Why is this important? Because this is the same area that is active in dreaming and dreaming is one of the first things our brains do when in the Delta(sleep) brainwave state. Visualization is part of the brain's process to deep sleep. To hypnotize someone, or yourself, you must willfully simulate the process of falling asleep without allowing deep sleep to occur. About Mass Hypnosis Lastly, when our minds wander we are in a form of self-hypnosis. Falling asleep during a lecture has as much to do with daydreaming as the subject matter of the speech. A daydreamer is stimulating the Secondary Visual Cortex and unknowingly beginning the process of falling asleep. If you do not want listeners to fall asleep then continually stimulate their Primary Visual Cortex with visual aids.( i.e. powerpoint presentations). The primary visual cortex is humming when we are in the Beta (alert and aware) brainwave state and processing the things we see with our eyes open. This also works in reverse. To attempt a mass hypnosis of an audience you must first relax them and then stimulate their collective visual imagination without external visual stimulation. You are now a Hypnotist. Congratulations! " Brad McBride (aka faceonmars)
Been out of the loop for a long time, decided to try my hand at lucid dreaming again. Maybe this will help me have lucid dreams? I will copy and paste entries from Liquid Dream III here from now on. Last night/ this morning I had several dreams that I don't think were connected, maybe they were, but they seemed like fragments. This is my first major post, so here's hoping my strange subconscious will be accepted here. The first one the setting was at some sort of old, one story building, pretty cramped, and was jam-packed with computers. I am not sure what their function or purpose was, but I remember it being important. One of the things that stuck out was a flight simulator, that to be honest, was sort of out of place. Perhaps it was employee stress relief? The building was divided into many rooms separated by glass walls with automatic sliding doors. A recurring color I recall seeing was beige and black. I do not remember too much more as I either woke up or the dream faded into the next one. The second fragment was the strangest. It seemed to have an important atmosphere and seemed a bit darker, both atmosphere and the hue of the dream. I don't remember too much as there is heavy fragmentation. The important thing is I had a computer running a strange program. Either life support for a strange creature I was trying to keep alive or some other purpose. I can't remember. I do, however, recall being very diligent and keeping an eye on it almost constantly. Later, after events I cannot recall, I returned to where this was running. And found the creature, who was this giant (ancient?) spider like creature that was slightly humanoid, in what seemed suspended in a huge void. Everything was black except the monster. It was as if the room that held the equipment had been transported into another dimension. I remember it had an important role, and did not fear it. I remember it saying that it had grown to great stature, as I recall I was only a speck compared to it, however it saying that I was just as powerful as it somehow. Maybe talking about the fact that I can do anything in a dream? I am not sure what it's purpose was, maybe I will try to seek it again once I am able to accomplish lucid dreaming. The third dream I had was strange as well, as it involved some sort of video game and me trying to find the name of this really cool video. In the video game section, I had to destroy the 'core' of some sort of mechanism. I think I have seen it somewhere in waking life, but I cannot remember. I was shooting at various exposed pillars decorated with strange writing that was multicolored. Although at some point I think I stopped playing for some reason. Probably to find that video. I don't think anything else happened afterwards. Now, another fragment I recall working at some place that had become overrun by human like machines (cyborgs?). And the only way to avoid capture was blending in with some sort of bio-mechanisms that produce energy or something. I cant recall too much except later I was riveting a box together. That held some other equipment. This is about as far as I got when I woke up.
I had a DILD two days ago where I saw God. Then I walked through a picture of Everest at Disney and ended up there. I was talking to a chinese girl and was amazed at the realisticness of it all. A little later I walk out of my home and realise I didnt RC before. I do so, then wake up shortly after. I fail to DEILD because I want fully lucid and my position was uncomfortable.
