    1. 25 Nov: Find money in ATM, kidnapped by mafia guys and adopt a leopard

      by , 11-25-2021 at 10:28 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
      non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid FA / AP

I need money, go to an ATM. It has a notice saying it is broken, but also has a bunch twenty euros bills sticking out, which I want to grab. I wonder if I'll be accused of stealing if it gets recorded on the ATM's camera, so I remove the notice and pretend I am trying to use the ATM, putting my card in and then I remove the money as I remove my card and hide the bills under the card, so it doesn't show on the video. Then other people passing by come to see if the machine is back to work, since they also need to use it and I explain it is not and that I was just trying it out. Then some bad looking guy comes by, asking if there was any money in it because he had been the last person using the machine and he suspected the machine may have spewed the money after he left. I say no, but he doesn't believe me, so he kidnaps me and I find myself arrested by some mafia guys. I try to escape and accidentally step into a room where the mob boss keeps a feline in a chain. It's his pet. Looks like a young leopard. My first instinct is to pet him but they warn me he'll attack. I watch the mob boss pet him. I later escape through the bathroom window.
I am walking some fancy streets and recognize it is in Italy, maybe Rome. I myself am looking fancy. I reach a street full of tables from restaurants, with tourists eating. I fly over them and hear all kinds of comments of surprise from people.
I am half-lucid and spot some roman ruins and decide to go sit on top of it watching the beautiful sunset. Then I fly over to some other ruins nearby and find the mob guy dead in there and the leopard on the lose. He already knows me, so he doesn't run away, but I wonder if he'll hurt me. I grab the chain that is laying on the floor and try to put in on his neck. He does attack me, but it feels like a big cat biting and scratching, not like a big feline who could rip my flesh. So I manage and I secure the chain and walk him around a bit. He submits to me and automatically allows me to pet him. The police arrives and bystanders start gathering. I ask the police what happens to the leopard and nobody knows or wants to deal with that responsibility, so they say I can keep him since he seems to like and obey me. I kinda like the idea but I wonder where I'll keep him because of all my cats and dogs at home.

    2. The Moon has Fallen Asleep

by , 05-31-2021 at 01:26 AM (The Fourth Factor)
Another dream on the verge of being lucid without quite being there. In the earliest part I can remember clearly, I’m on a computer: I’m looking up some band I’m interested in, trying to find more of their music. But the dream shifts to another scenario. It still isn’t lucid, but it’s pretty clear I’m not actually invested in it as real. I’m initially in an outdoor farm-like area with flamingos some distance away, observing interactions between characters. I only identify with one when she’s asked a question, changing to her viewpoint and responding as her. There’s a sense of making things up as I go along. I need to go somewhere now, and so I call to the nearby leopard, which I call Arthur, telling him to come with me. (I use the German pronunciation. I am about 90% sure I decided to name it after Schopenhauer.) It doesn’t want to get up, but I pull it to its feet, which it tolerates, and we walk away.

Next, I remember entering a building. It’s somewhat reminiscent of a building on a campsite, just a long rectangle, possibly something like an uninsulated metal frame, and has no interior divisions. It’s mostly empty and white, and there’s an even stronger sense of almost-lucidity here. It’s as if whatever plot there may have been has definitely gone off the rails by now, and I’m driving things, though not in a fully conscious way.

I go over to the bed in the nearest corner – other than the one by the door I entered from – and sit down on it. What follows is maybe best described as a strange kind of visual thinking – a little like reading a picture book, where I cease to really be present in the room and am absorbed in the stories that are playing out in mental space. It’s hard to describe since it isn’t exactly like anything that happens while awake – but it’s almost like there’s another presence there telling the stories.

They seem to be some kind of philosophical parable, and also a sort of story-behind-stories, representing something that was once commonly manifested in literature from an earlier time. The first one was so utterly bizarre that I can’t remember a thing about it now – but in the dream, I understand it perfectly since the meaning in all its facets and interrelations is just a part of it as it is presented. I can see it all mapped out, like a complex constellation. But some of the points are placed in the wrong locations for it to reflect reality. It’s something I was already aware of, but it’s a little sad to see it laid out like this so clearly.

There’s enough of a gap for the room to enter my awareness again before the second story begins. This one is apparently communicating the same thing as the first one did, but in a different way. I can remember the beginning of this one – how the wolves were all howling at the moon, but the moon had fallen asleep and couldn’t hear them…

    3. Strange dream fragment and mashups| [17.04.2020]

by , 04-17-2020 at 04:16 PM (Draeger's Dream Journal and Documentation)
      Weird mashup dream
I only remember fragments of the first part. I remember the death of an old friend I had in the dream (not real), and I have flashbacks to times we've had together. We seemed to be pretty happy together. We both seemed to be living in a sort of psychologist's building. I remember it might not have been an asylum, we just lived in the same building, but I'm not sure. There might have been some strange creatures at some point. I remember something with a pool. He might have drowned. Or maybe he was murdered by the creatures.

Suddenly, the scene changes to something similar to the scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with the death eater and Barty Crouch in the courtroom. Except that the courtroom is now a gigantic dim chamber. The ceiling was quite low, but the room was about 50 meters in length and width. The only light came from a large window on at least one side of the room, letting light coming through what is probably storm clouds, judging from the light's dimness. I can't really see what is outside the window. All the seats are lined up like in the courtroom. Albus Dumbledore sits on a chair. I try to talk to him, but he doesn't react. I then walk up to the chair and walk right through it, noticing I am like a ghost to everything that is happening. I notice Voldemort sitting in the middle. I decide to sit onto his chair for some reason, looking at everything through his perspective.

Then, I am suddenly sitting on a leather chair affixed to the wall, with psychologists trying to calm me. I think something involving the pool happened. They bring me into a room to talk with a woman. She asks me a lot of things, I don't remember what though, except that I bring out one of my medical devices for diabetes and she asks if the amount of insulin given isn't a bit much, and I explain that the amount is spread out through the day.

Next scene is of a black leopard, which is some sort of evil character associated with the creatures mentioned at the beginning. They are a leopard because apparently they managed to continue living after death by becoming one. They break into a sort of zoo enclosement and bring out stones, which they break up and for some reason breathe in. A sort of zoo overseer just watches this and exclaims that this is one smart leopard. Then they suddenly get aggressive and want to attack me, but I am stuck with my arm in the sort of wall of the enclosement. I suddenly go back to some other scene for a second, before waking up.

My cat had given birth to three kittens. One was grey with green eyes and I named her Satri after one of my comic characters. Another one was black and white like a panda, and I named him Panda. The last one was blue and white with bright blue eyes. I named him Storm.

I remember thinking of how I have dreamed of a bright blue cat before.

I was at an airport where this psychic person would draw your 'higher self' or 'soul' or some such nonsense. I asked her to draw mine. She drew really fast, she only had one pencil but was somehow able to change its color. In about five or ten seconds she finished.

The picture she drew looked something like my avatar picture (supposed to be my dream self.) But the highlights were spread all through the hair, and the face was rendered more realistically.

My mom was really excited, like a little girl to get herself drawn as well. But when her's turned out to be some kind of hideous blob monster, she got really mad at the psychic.

We had to get onto our airplane after that. My dad was telling my mom to stop acting like such a baby because her drawing came out bad.

A story about a woman who was supposed to be the leader of a fantasy kingdom. However she had to endure these trials, and in one of them she was suspended on a platform with another man for three days. During the full moon, she turned into a where-leopard. And on the third night, the moon was full, she could not contain her hunger and ate the other man.

She then stated fighting this evil guy in a black cloak that rode in on a horse, but she was having trouble fighting because she had just eaten.

Then the old king of the kingdom showed up and helped her fight off the black cloaked man. He eventually fled. The woman changed back to normal because the moon went behind a cloud. She was sad because she had 'messed up' and ended the life of another person. The old king explained to her how she was going to be the leader, the people wanted someobody who was hardworking and never gave up. They didn't care about her flaws and mistakes so long as she kept trying to be the best that she could be.

A mad scientist was involved in the story somehow.

I was at a football game at my college. I can't really remember why I was there and I remember asking myself why I was at the football game. I became partially lucid for the entirety of this dream.

I was trying to leave but I ran into this group of girls who stated that they recognized me. I vaguely recognized two of their faces as girls from my high school who had crushes on me, but there were four or five of them. They were all wearing school colors and had face paint on.

They said that they wanted me to come with them. For no particular reason other than seeing what they wanted to do, I decided to go with them.

We walked into the outside area of the stadium (where all the food stands are under the seats) and somehow wound up in my garage. But it still felt like I was at the stadium.

One of them pointed out something odd about my hair. I looked in the mirror (we don't have a mirror in the garage IWL) I noticed it was partially black and partially brown. I thought this was strange.

I lost the dream after that.
    5. Epic Fantasy Battle.

by , 07-03-2014 at 02:17 AM (Lucid Time!)
Setup: There is some conqueror traveling across the land taking over land and calling it his own. He looks like Genghis Khan and rides around on some kind of reptilian horse creature. His army consists of:
-His sorcerer wife that can raise a skeleton army.
      -Roughly 20 human lieutenants.
-Roughly 100 large ogre-like creatures clad entirely in invincible armor that leaves only the face vulnerable.
We are the native tribe looking to defend our homeland. Everyone in the tribe has tan skin and dark hair. We have roughly 200 warriors, mostly armed with spears. We also have roughly a dozen 'leopard men' on chains. They look sort of like Tai Lung (The villain in the first Kung Fu Panda movie) if he were a bit more realistic looking. Now I am not the leader of the tribe, more like second in command, or some high ranking position close to the chief who wore a large headdress. Every warrior had two blue stripes painted under their eyes.
We are hiding in the woods on the edge of a farm field. The enemy army is marching perpendicular to us, through the field. The chief gives the signal and we release the leopard men and run in. We expected to catch them off guard, but the ogres didn't go down by our spears. (Well nobody hit the face) The ogres kill all of the leopard men in a matter of a few seconds, and knock out a few of our tribe members too.
And about 30 seconds after the chief gives the order to attack, we're all running the other way.
I run back into the woods. I get about 50 feet in and see an ogre positioned in the woods.
"Surrender! Drop your weapon!" The ogre has a deep thundering voice.
I had a bow. I was the master archer in the tribe. I drop it on the ground. The ogre steps on it, breaking it. He laughs briefly.
So me and the remaining tribe members had been taken prisoner. We waited around for some time, and we were forced to watch the conqueror's army ransack a civilian town. (Not the home of our tribe, which was supposedly in a secluded location.) He was merciless and tortured all of his prisoners, including children and the elderly. I don't really want to harp on this, but it was the WORST torture imaginable, not by a long shot, but it was pretty nasty.
Then the conqueror and the tribe chief meet. The chief gives one of those numbers about how the conqueror does not fight with honor. The conqueror gives and evil laugh and makes a deal with the chief. If they can defeat his skeleton army, then they are free to retreat to their home. That or he can just kill us all now. Given no better option, the chief decides to take the fight with the skeletons.
So the conqueror makes this setup. He puts us in a square field with a large hill in the center. He surrounds the edge of the field with his ogres disallowing anyone from escaping. Then the sorcerer comes out and throws blue fire on the ground. It burns away all of the grass in the field and skeleton warriors bust through the ground. Thousands of them. The conqueror orders them to attack.

At this point about half of the tribe turns and tries to escape. The ogres positioned on the end of the field kill about 80% of the escapees but a few manage to slip by. Okay, there is No way we are going to beat ALL of these skeletons, we're outnumbered probably 50 to 1, and that was before half of our guys tried to escape. Plus we're unarmed.
Then I got an idea. I charged at one of the skeletons, dodging the arrow he shoots as I get in close. And do an epic kick of doom to his face. He breaks down into bones and I pick up his quiver, but his bow is broken from my kick. I turn to another skeleton. He is about to fire at the chief who is fighting the conqueror. The conqueror has a katana-like sword with a magical green energy conduit going up the side. The chief has a rusty iron sword that he likely picked up from one of these skeletons.
The skeleton turns to me at the last second and fires. The arrow just glances the left side of my chest. I don't feel any pain from the wound, so I charge at him and kick him down anyway. I pick up his bow and pull the arrow out of my chest. I turn to the one of the ogres and line up a shot.

And then my dad shouts 'I'm going to work!' and wakes me up.

Fragment: I lived in Atlantis. My mom, who had left me when I was a baby had just returned. I was showing her new building around the city. For some reason, Atlantis has an art deco construction style, Kind of like New York used to be.

Fragment: I am partially lucid and climbing to the very top of a sand dune. It is covered in cacti and other exotic plantlife Sand dunes must be a new dream sign.

    6. A White Leopard, Its Cub and A Paddy Field

by , 09-10-2012 at 04:59 PM (My Life On The Other Side)
I and a friend were new in a house. A guide was walking with us showing the area surrounding. We had to cross a muddy paddy field. Along at several intervals were strips of yellow lines that you can step on to cross. I crossed first. The yellow lines were soft and didn't hold my weight. I was almost at the other side but there was a white leopard and its cub. The mother was reaching out its claws at me. I was swimming in the mud now. Scared I tried to swim back to my friend and guide. But I couldn't move fast enough and there was a current pulling me towards the leopard. Color: yellow, green, blue.

Time of getting into bed: 00.30am
      100mg B6 before bed, 60mg Ginkgo & 160mg Ginseng

      Waking thoughts in black
      Non lucid dreams in blue
      Lucid dreams in red

      Dream 1 - non lucid (2.30am)
I am in the front of some sort of lorry driving across America. In the front with me is a stranger, the driver (who is also a stranger) and a TV reporter. I think I have been picked up - hitchhiking. The TV reporter asks us all what we are doing, and where we are going. I am second to reply, and I state I don't know, I'm just going where life takes me. Lot's of people laugh, but the reporter is not impressed.

      Dream 2 - non lucid (4.33am)

Before this dream, I had attempted the SSILD during the WBTB. I think I preferred my traditional WILD method, as I got bored and didn't feel relaxed enough.
I am staying in the middle of the African wilderness. I think it may be some sort of educational thing. I sleep in a hammock, with other people. Nearby there is a tree, and hanging from the tree are many fat, feathered green birds. They are all suspended by their necks, which are tangled in the tree's vine-like leaves. I am worried the birds are choking (there is many birds like this in the tree) but someone tells me they are not. They explain that these birds are very rare, existing only in this tree. The spend their entire lives hung by the neck, trapped in the tree. They also tell me they have a unique way of reproducing. I watch the bird closest to me - it is roughly the size of a football. It suddenly starts to struggle, and as it does the vines tighten around it's neck, killing it. As it dies, it's mouth hangs open, and open climbs a baby version of the bird. The baby bird then jumps, and gets caught in some nearby vines. The whole cycle then starts again, with this bird taking the place of the now dead one. I feel some sort of sense of peace with nature watching this.

The next sequence I'm pretty sure was the same dream, but a new storyline. I'm getting better at telling when dreams just switch to a new storyline, or actually end, and a new one begins.

I am in the same African wilderness, this time laid on the sandy floor, talking to a very young African boy. He must be around 10 years old. His mother sits nearby working on something. It is night time and pitch black, the sounds of nature all around us. He tells me a story. The story involves lots of African animals, but mostly about the Leopard. It is a typical child's story, but at the end, I think I see the silhouette of a Leopard in the distance and get scared. I tell the boy I'm going to bed, and he tells me not to be afraid. Once back at my 'camp.' I worry about the Leopard. I look up, and suddenly see the Leopard's face peering out of the bushes. The dream seems to focus on the Leopard, the picture 'zooms' inwards around it's head, a bit like a movie would do. I try to sleep and ignore it but it gets closer and closer. I watch it approaching. For some reason, I believe I will not get attacked. I think in the back of my head I knew I was dreaming, but couldn't get fully lucid.I don't worry too much because it can't hurt me. However as it gets very close, I pick up a baseball bat for protection, and sit in the corner and wait for it. It get's even closer, and the people around me look scared. It seems to only want me, and ignores the others. I now suddenly panic. I think to myself 'Why is it still coming for me? I can't be hurt? This is not real, is it?' It get's up close to me, feet away, and I realise it is going to attack. I suddenly think this may hurt, but I know I can't die. So I try to escape, by using my mind. I wake up. I wouldn't say I was lucid as such, but extremely close.

      Dream 3 - non lucid (6.17am)
There is a TV show about a man dating 3 women, and he has to choose one of them. 2 of the women are very fake looking, and mean. The other is plain but pretty, and this one is his actual girlfriend. The two fake girls are incredibly hurtful to the girlfriend, telling her they will steal her boyfriend and that he thinks she is disgusting. The man then has to choose, and he chooses the 2 fake girls. The girlfriend is horrified and cries uncontrollably, but the guy and 2 fake girls simply laugh at her.

Dream 4 - non lucid fragments

Unfortunately I had to wake early to get some work done. I remember fragments of dreams as I tried to get myself out of bed, but did not write them down.
Something about a big hall, filled with lights and colours and dancing people. Very pretty, everyone is dancing like Micheal Jackson. I take photos and dance too. Someone takes photos of me.
    8. Quarter Pieces

      by , 01-17-2011 at 09:04 PM
      1/17/11 - Quarter Pieces
      Dream Non-dream Lucid

I was with my dad at a little bookstore, somewhere downtown. I was looking around in the manga section. I didn't see anything really interesting, so I wandered around the store until I found a room seperate from the rest of the store. I went inside, and found shelves filled with books from a single manga series. I was amazed; there was only one copy of each volume, and yet there were enough to fill all the shelves. I loved the way the covers looked; each had a sparkly design on the front that glittered even in the store's dim lighting. I started reading them, and was about halfway through the seventh book when my dad found me. He said we had to leave, so I left with him, reluctantly.

I found myself in an abandoned building, with a single floor, holes where doors and windows should be, and graffiti covering the walls. Two boys walked in, one about my age, and one about ten, both with dark, shaggy hair. I hid myself from them, and my view of the room was switched to third person. The older boy was looking at some of the graffiti. I noticed one in particular - it said "iJustine" in big letters. The boy also noticed it, because the paint used to write it was dripping down the wall. It was still wet. Suddenly, I was seeing in first person again, and Justine and I jumped out from our hiding places. (I hadn't noticed before, but Justine was also hiding in the building.) The two boys were shocked. We started beating the crap out of them, especially the younger one. Afterwards I felt bad, so I asked them how I could make it up to them. The older boy asked for "two quarter pieces," so I reached into my pocket and pulled out a wad of money. I had ten bucks and a bunch of quarters, so I gave them one quarter and Justine gave them another. The two boys then ran off with what we'd given them.
I realized that, because I had $10, I could go back to that bookstore and buy a couple volumes of the manga that I liked. I ran out of the building and down the street, suddenly finding myself in a different scene. I was in the sparkly manga room in the bookstore, picking out which ones I wanted. My dad came in again. He told me that we were late for something and that I'd have to buy the books some other time. We both left.

Hannah was with me then, and we were sitting on some rocks by the ocean. It was just past sunset, and a bunch of other teens were with us, but I don't think I knew any of them. We decided to go swimming, so we all jumped into the water fully clothed. It was a little cold, and the current was strong. A boat passed by, and a big wave rushed over us. I found myself being pulled under, and I thought that Hannah was on top of me. I struggled to swim to the surface, and in doing so found that it wasn't Hannah pulling me down; I was tangled up in something, probably seaweed. When I finally freed myself and swam to the surface, I found myself looking up at an old Inuit woman. The current had somehow carried me far away, under ice, and into this woman's igloo. The hole in the floor that I was looking at her through was supposedly used for ice fishing. I scrambled out of the water and onto the floor, and collapsed, panting and shivering. I think I blacked out. From what I could figure out, the old woman used magic to heal me, but it also caused me to change into a white leopard, and though I could change back and forth at will, it would always be a part of me.

The scene shifted to what I think is a week later. I was staying with the Inuit woman. The view was third person.
Remember the dark-haired boys from earlier? The older one had, apparently, been injured on the ice and abandoned. The old woman had found him and brought him back to her igloo. He was unconscious, and the woman was using some healing spells on him. It must have been similar to the ones used on me, because he kept shifting forms, from human to wolf and vice versa. When she finished, he was human, and seemed to be asleep. She put a blanket over him, and left the house to gather food or something.
The boy soon woke up. He seemed really confused. He got up and looked around. He noticed a leopard's tail(mine) flicking back and forth, sticking out from under a blanket on a cot by the wall. He crept over to it slowly. I switched back to first person, and rolled over on the cot. The boy froze. I stretched and climbed onto the floor in front of him. He looked as though he might try and attack me. He also looked... really hot. I could see the wolf in his eyes.
I stood on my back paws, and transformed into my human self. "It's just me," I told him. He looked really shocked, and a little nervous too - probably because of how I kicked his ass before. I tried to make it clear that I liked him now and wasn't going to hurt him.
I woke up then. Darn, he was so hot too...
    9. Bizarre Jungle, Remote Control

      by , 12-31-2010 at 03:34 AM
12/30/10 - Bizzare Jungle, Remote Control
      Dream Non-dream Lucid

Not really sure what happened exactly. I was in this weird jungle/forest, where my dream self thought to have spent the previous summer. There were some weird and exotic animals there; the one I remember most is a leopard, but it's almost like I was the leopard...

I remember another bit. I was with some animals I don't quite remember, but am pretty sure included a monkey and bird. We were running across something like a long tree, fallen sideways across water... The tree went on as far as I could see, as did the water. We were running to retreave a remote control from some other, less friendly animals.

I wish I could remember more.
Now that I think about it, I vaguely remember a dream or two from that same jungle. Something about fairies, and another involving ancient cursed runes.
