False Awakening

1. I finally did it! Yesh!!!

by , 09-17-2011 at 07:14 AM
I got my first Lucid Dream last night! Yesh!
Okay, I had 2 FAs:

I found myself in my bed. It was dark, so I turned the light on. I'm sitting in my bed, and suddently I remembered, that I had to do a RC. I blocked my airways, and tried to breathe.. And I was breathing!! I became lucid. I saw how the light became brighter, but my room wasn't so vivid. I could feel, that I had got too excited, and that I probably would wake up soon. I wanted to do something funny. I pushed my hand through the wall. It was so weird, it was an amazing feeling! I laughed.
I "woke" up in a castle. I was alone. I wanted to tell someone about my LD, but I couldn't.
And then I woke up for real.

And danced my chandler-dance!
2. My first lucid dream

by , 09-16-2011 at 05:59 PM
I just had a lucid dream about an hour ago. And it was from RCing with my watch. I woke up at 5:00 or 5:30 and remembered just 2 dreams, did not try very hard. They could have been the same.. Anyways, went to the bathroom and wrote them down. The did MILD as I was falling back asleep:
I said to myself that I will have a lucid dream and I will remember it and I will be aware in my dream and know its a dream over and over and over
Then thought of one of my dreams that I just woke up from and looked for the dream signs in it. And if I thought of any other scene I would think "this is a dream" and slowing go back to just telling myself I will have a lucid dream.
It took awhile, but finally fell back asleep. I'm hoping that this all might help out another newbie searching around on the forums. In the dream I saw my brother and thought "I see him in my dreams a lot, maybe I could RC everytime I see him". So I RCed and the seconds were messed up, I thought "no way". Everything was so real, I saw the sunlight on my arm and watch, and then I looked back at my watch and saw all the numbers were messed up. During the day, whenever I RC I try to truly and honestly consider whether I am dreaming and kinda imagine my watch messing up. Which I think really helped. Anyways, I thought "Now Isaac(my name), cool it, don't get too excited" and remembered to stabilize the dream its good to spin and go to a new scene. So I started spinning and closed my eyes and thought of my bathroom. Then I thought if I open them I might wake up in my bed, and I was not sure what to do, and kept spinning, then I smacked my hands on the counter in the bathroom just before opening my eyes and found myself in the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, did not see my reflection, did not want to try for fear of waking up and I saw the window was more square as apposed to rectangular in real life. I opened the door and looked out in to the hall way and thought of how real it looked. I walked out and into the dining room and thought "I gotta try flying and get outside!". So I went out the door, ignoring that it opened in the opposite direction its suppose to. I tried flying and thought "well wow this is dull and boring and not near as fun as I thought it would be" then I noticed I was still on the ground. So I ran around to the front yard and heard a radio and thought I was starting to wake up. Then my dad was walking towards me and I had a false awakening and thought I had slept walked to the front yard. As my dad was talking to me, I saw a black dot above a mound of hay or something and and wondered if it was a kittin, it was and it meowed and walked to me and it looked and sounded real. Another one and Miles(one of the older cats) came. Then I woke up for real.

Well hope I helped someone and thanks again guys for your replies. And I agree with Arch that WILD is not a good idea for, I think, newbies like me. Every time I tried, it did not work and I tried so many times.

This time when I went to WILD, I had an sleepmask on me and I had my eyes open behind it, so all I saw was darkness. I started to go through my day with eyes open, to relax myself. Then I pictured myself getting to a location and I felt my body "yawning" not like the sleep paralysis wave but my body was starting to become fully relaxed. And here I lost consciousnes... Although I woke up shortly after and I felt my nose was itching on the tip. I thought this was the test signal or something, but then I was overwhelmed with the feeling of failure. I kept still, but I thought that I had already failed, so I gave up.
But I hadn't moved my body, so I hadn't failed the failure was that I gave up. I then fell asleep normally.

I were in my school and some girls that I know asked me if I wanted to play soccer, and I said "Nah I have to go" and they inisisted "Come man it will be fun!" and I stayed. Then I suddenly blacked out and wake up in my bed, but there is three girls laying there! How the f*ck did I thought I was awake... it was an odd false awakening. and I went back to sleep.

I remembered more on the awakening, but I didn't write it down, so now I have forget what i dreamt.

4. "That's strange!" - 13/9-11

by , 09-14-2011 at 05:05 PM
Hello amazing people.
Had another FA.

Okay - I found myself in my bed. It was morning, and I could hear my dad in the kitchen (I think it came from reality, because he was in the kitchen). Suddently, I saw my break fast in my bed. I thought "Huh, that's strange" (on Danish, off course).
.....and then I woke up.

Whoa!!! It's the second time I'm thinking about the strange things in my dream!!

Have nice dreams!
- oh, and do a REALITY CHECK. ^_^

5. First entry, Weird dream.

by , 09-13-2011 at 06:01 PM
This is my first entry.
I'm not going to write in this everyday, only some speciel dreams. I thinks dreams, especially some dreams, are personally. But I just wanna share some few dreams.

Okay,

I was in a room, and watched TV. There was a video about Africa in the TV. It made me sad. It was about a mother and her childrens. I didn't wanted to watch it again.
It became evening, and I was sitting in my room. Suddently, my brother came in with a computer, and showed me the video on youtube. I didn't wanted to watch it! I wanted to wake up (I wasn't lucid, but in a strange way, I knew I was dreaming). I "woke up" in my bed, and thought a lot about it. It was a shame. I totally forgot to do a RC. I wrote it down in my dream journal. And then I woke up for real. I wanted to read (I thought it was real, it was so vivid!) but I couldn't find it!

An interesting dream, hah? :3
Have nice dreams, Dreamers!

6. LD: Flying Kayak/Car

by , 09-13-2011 at 04:36 PM
11-15-06

Lucid Dream

I actually don't even remember how this dream started because it was sandwiched in between two non-lucids.

It started like I was watching a movie. There were all these flying robots that were flying over LA to do something. I was seeing them as if I was flying through the air with them.

For some reason I became lucid (probably the flying). I was sitting in this small flying car that was a bit like a kayak because I was out on top holding on to the sides using that to steer.

I spent pretty much the whole dream just flying around in this little car enjoying the ride. At one point I thought, "Now what were next month's tasks?" Then I remembered it was not next month, and I shouldn't worry about trying those just yet.

I tried to focus on details as I was flying. I could feel the wind through my hair and hear the wind in my ears. Very very real. My mind did a great job of making the wind stronger and louder as I turned and swooped.

Then I saw Disneyland in the distance. I wanted to fly there. I headed toward it. Right as I was getting close to the Matterhorn, I could feel myself start to wake up.

Now this is what I found most interesting in this dream. I felt myself wake up. I was even seeing what I thought was my real life (FA) but I was able to pull myself back to the dream, and focus back on the feeling of the wind and of Disneyland in front of me.

This happened several times

until I finally got to the point where I thought I was fully awake and not able to go back to the dream. Unfortunately it was another False Awakening. But I was so intent at this point to run to the computer to write it down. I was surprised to find that my computer had been taken down (but not so surprised as to become lucid again.) and for the next few minutes of dream I was just trying to find a way to write the LD down. Because that happened, I don't feel I have the details on this LD as well as some of my other lucid dreams from the past.

In fact, I remember thinking that in the dream I was hearing music playing. But I couldn't tell you now what it was But maybe it will come to me.

BUt anyway--another Lucid Dream!!

Edit:

I need to write up the conditions leading up to this LD. This was a sleep in morning. I had awaken at my normal time of 6:00. I knew I didn't have to get up yet. I got up and went to the bathroom and got a drink...and on a whim took half of a B-6 vitamin (50 mg). I was kind of cold. I crawled back into my bed and got under my wonderful micro-fleece blanket and my also wonderful big down comforter. It was so wonderfully cozy that I was able to drift back into dreamland.

7. Falling Through the Universe.

Dream
Thoughts
Hypnagogic

This night I tried to WILD before normal sleep. I have heard that it is impossible, but I was thinking and thought, if we can
be aware of a dream, to be lucid in that sense. And still be able to rest, wouldn't it be possible to stay have the mind awake the whole night and let the body rest. This is called Yoga Nidra "Conscious sleep". I have allways told myself that a dream is just a thought, but a vivid thought and I have even seen my thoughts become a dream in a WBTB DEILD.
So if I can just stay aware until my thoughts, become vivid then it should be possible.
I considered the problem of staying awake long enough for that to happend, but I came up with an idea to keep my mind busy and to totally forget about my physical body.

I like visualization, and day dreaming in that sense. I thought that if a dream is a vivid thought, then a thought must still be the closest to a dream that I can come while being awake. So my method to keep my mind busy is to daydream, but not the nornal way. Usually when we day dream we think about something and associate it with something else and suddenly we think about anything and then we fall asleep.

I started out by going through memories of my day in my mind, as detailed as possible. When this was done I assumed that I was perfectly relaxed, my body felt numb and uncomfortable feelings started to appear. Now I pretended that I was going to separate from my physical body into my non-physical body, pretend that I WILD so to speak.

So I visualised that I went out of my bed and I chosed two objects in each room in my house to explore.
And when I come to the kitchen I started to lose consiousnes from time to time, but I returned to the visualisation.
Eventually I lost it completely and I had a dream.

I were in my school and this dream was boring, because it was just about a normal schoolday.
Then I was walking home from that schooldream and suddenly I realised that it was a dream.
I didn't stabilise I was not aware enough in my mind to do that for some reason, instead I looked around and were surprised that I remembered this much from the real world, because it was a real location.
I took pace and ran and jumped and started to fly, I have had many fly dreams now so I had enough confidence to control this flying. And this time I decided to fly to the universe! When I were up there and saw the starts and the empty black space I started to accelarate and it almost felt like falling. And I fell and fell and suddenly I was back in my bed.
I heard my mom screaming "Your dad is shopping clothes!". "In the middle of the night?!" I said surprised. "Yeah go back to sleep" she said. And when I did I woke up for real...

On my real awakening I did a reality check and I was now awake. I looked at the clock and it was now 4.40, so I went back to sleep.

I was now standing in my tv room and a person I don't really like was laying on the couch and eating popcorn, this was a weird dream and I don't really remember it.

Then I was walking into a Chinese store, I looked at a t-shirt and it was a cool background and a text saying "Zhore".
I then saw a bowl of red balls, I asked what it was and the person behind the disk said "Dragoneggs" and then I woke up.

I will make a new attempt to WILD today, but if I fail which I probably will I have an alarm to WBTB.

8. Not My Room

by , 09-13-2011 at 01:32 PM
The dream starts with me opening my eyes to see my room, only, not quite. I immediately notice that there's something wrong with my room and look up to see that there's a panda in the corner of my ceiling. The panda stared back at me, and that's when I noticed the panda's eyes were red, and it was not one of those adorable fluffy things you see on Animal Planet. The panda's eyes started to make me feel uncomfortable so I decide to close my eyes in attempt to wake up from the dream.

When I open my eyes again the panda's gone. But I'm seated in an awkward position that I don't remember falling asleep in, slouching forward over my knees, and realise that I still haven't woken up from the dream yet. So once again I close my eyes.

At this point I start to get worried. I've woken up in a different position, lying on my stomach with my head to the foot of the bed, and it's really really dark. I feel like something's in the room with me, and I try slowly inching closer to my light in an attempt to turn it on. After a couple attempts I realise I can't move. So I close my eyes tightly and try to will myself to wake up.

I remember that it has always been a fear of mine to fall asleep and never wake up, and when I open my eyes again, the room is red. Someone's replaced the lightbulb of my bedside lamp with a red tinted one and the whole room looks unbelievably creepy. I start hyperventilating and trying to convince myself that I will wake up soon, but the more I try the creepier the room gets. The walls go red, someone starts laughing, I think back to the scene in 'Insidious' where that goat demon thing is dancing and the music starts up.

I close my eyes once more. Then I wake up.
9. The Camping Ground - 34th Lucid

by , 09-13-2011 at 12:01 PM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
The dream begins in the bush with dad. We just got out of a car at the edge of a new camping ground. It is small, rounded and at the edge of the ground the tree line begins, and continues on into the forest. There is a very large kangaroo a few meters away from us, looking over occasionally. It is after mid-day and the sun is shining through the trees, creating a beautiful dappled afternoon and a joyous feeling as we arrive.

Dad starts commenting about the camping ground. "Gee, this is pretty ugly. I thought it'd be bigger." I have memories of this place, perhaps from a previous dream or the terrain was created from a memory of bush land. I think it's absolutely beautiful, but I just talk along with Dad anyway. "It's a bit small I guess", for most of this time my eyes have been glued to the kangaroo, who is still standing around and un-afraid of our presence. To the left, there are two people sitting around some sort of camp-fire, I catch them in my peripheral vision as they stand and say "It's nice once you get used to it". Dad makes a comment about how he could take out the roo with a shotgun, and is now standing at a table where the car was parked, looking at a long box which contained a shotgun.

Memory jumps a little here, but I assume the two people start taking us in to a large wooden cabin. We walk through a door on the left side of the building, the inside is a large hall space. A boy from school I don't often talk to - Max - walks up to me, and the first thing he says to me is "You're dreaming, you know?"
"Oh, I am?" I wasn't quite sure - everything seemed very realistic and I hadn't realised till now the strange dream-like feeling. I could tell before I had RC'd, but I did it anyway, and plugged my nose and breathed in. Awesome!

I turn to him, start rubbing my hands together to stabilise, and with the situation at hand I take the opportunity to ask a question, directed at the dream character but aimed to get an answer from my subconscious, I look him straight in the eyes.
"How come this doesn't happen more often?"
"Huh?"
"How come you don't normally tell me when I'm dreaming?"
"Oh, you know, uh.." He was really unresponsive.
"Is it an effort thing?"
I can't remember if he replied or the dream skipped, but he ended up saying
"You know, where I'm from there's this trick with water-"
and instantly I remembered - Yes! My goals! The ToTM!
"Thank you!"

I start walking backwards out of the building, and think "When I turn around, there will be water." I pictured a lake, or a large, clear puddle behind me. When I turned, there was a few trees in front of a clearing, where there was a murky, muddy puddle. I walked towards it, saying in my head "I am walking to the water" over and over.

I stood infront of the puddle, facing towards the cabin. I stepped, trying to stand on the water and my foot simply planted straight into it. Hm. I tried both feet and failed. I believe I could have tried to lift myself out of the water after having both feet in, but I can't remember it completely and I'm not going to count it as complete. When I was done, I stood infront of the puddle again - this time for the advanced task. I started with water bending - something I've done completely naturally in a lucid dream before - but now I was thinking about it. I try and raise the water in a stream, using my hands to guide it up. It doesn't work, but I somehow make a splash in the puddle, and increase the effort and concentration I'm putting into the telekenesis. The murky water collects into one ball at eye level, gently swirling around while I increase the intensity to gather more water.

People started to gather and I realised I needed to control two elements, and not just water. While holding the ball of water in the air, I focus on the ground and try and raise up the dirt in columns - it doesn't work. Okay, wind! I start yelling, louder and louder as they do in Dragon Ball Z, feeling as I draw in more energy. The last time I did this in a dream I woke up just before I was finished and I didn't want that to happen again so I stopped increasing the volume. Loads of people were standing around me now - one was filming. I could see the wind blowing around me but I couldn't feel it yet - and the dream was starting to fade! I put all my effort in and felt the air rushing forwards against my back - success!

I woke up into a False Awakening, hearing an occasional dull buzzing noise. I presumed it was my phone, and turned to find out I had fallen asleep in bed on IRC with my netbook. I had been added to a private channel with ShockWave, Raspberry and a few new members I didn't recognise - I was also using webchat. I closed the windows and had a sudden panic that the lucid hadn't saved in the word document! (Which I never typed.) I woke up, as I went to check for the document, and started writing the dream out.
10. LUCID: Stuck

by , 09-13-2011 at 10:08 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
State: Almost 5 pm, humid, and I can hear a CEP audio, and the TV from afar.

I was completely awake. I had just been dreaming a few minutes ago, and then now I can "see through the eyelids." I can see the mirror, the walls, the windows (which was open, and there are tall grasses visible beyond it, but in reality, it's closed, and there are no grasses behind it).

I can also see my right hand. I tried moving it, and I felt it rise, but I can see my right hand and arm stay put. I thought I was probably almost astral traveling. I moved my head, twisting it, to get out of the body, together with my arms and torso. I then vaguely saw my face, so close to mine, but shaven. I felt like an outgrowth trying to cut itself off from the body. It was very hard.

I finally got out, but I no longer see my body on the bed. And I'm in a different room. My view was very hazy, and I can see a cabinet/divider in the room. I am across the bed in the room. There's a door to the outside behind me (there's no door to the outside in my room). I rubbed my hands together to stay more lucid, and I commanded "clarity." Nothing happened. I saw my bed (different color, size, etc.), and a glimpse of my "body," and I'm back in my body.

I almost woke up, but somehow, something clicked in my mind, and I'm in the middle state between waking up and asleep once more. I thought I was really awake this time. I still can't move my body, but I can still feel moving my "astral arms."

After a short while, though, I just decided to close my eyes, and I "opened" them up again. Still same problem. I started to get anxious. I worried "What if I can't wake up from this?"

I closed my eyes again, for a longer time, and I sensed another click or pop in my mind, and I knew I was "awake." I opened my eyes. It looks the same, but a little different. I didn't dare try moving my hands, afraid that I'm still stuck. After a while, I moved, and it moved. I'm awake.

12-9-11 from 2:00 - 7:00 8:00 - 10:00

Remember some things. I was browsing this forum and there was a lot of activity by Omnis Dei. Something tells me he was on acid yesterday? Because his name shifted from Omnis Dei to Lysergic. Let me know. I'm having prophetic dreams lately. Fact that he gave me a "like" on my thread while i was sleeping makes it more puzzling.
Also, i didn't know what the word lysergic means before this dream . i had to look it up.

Dreamed of logging in on msn and having a message in the "Type a message for ur friends" bar. But i don't remember what it was.

I dreamed that this girl i know. Who i saw at a club yesterday. She invited me to her home a few miles from here. I told her i don't know where she lives. She said, you do. And i remembered i brought her home once. I do know where she lives. I think i accepted. Had to fix my bike first tho, i had a flat dream tire. I think i recall riding outside her house trying to find the place. Nothing more.
12. FAs and a Social Gathering (Night of September 8-9)

by , 09-11-2011 at 05:22 PM (The Lab Notebook)
[This is another catchup post.]

Non-lucid dream, [Commentary made while awake]

Night of September 8-9

I wake up in my current bedroom. I go down the stairs and look at a digital clock. As I look at it, it changes from 1:07 [or something like that] to 5:07. I know I have to get up for the day at 5:15 [this was actually true in real life, since it was a Friday morning], but I'm still feeling sleepy, so I decide to just go back to bed for those last 8 minutes. I go back up the stairs and go back to sleep.

I wake up in a different bedroom, in a two-story house
[that might or might not have been House #2, I'm not sure]. I go downstairs, and there's a social gathering just getting started. A bunch of my [present-day] friends from church are just arriving at the house. I get into a conversation with my mom and PB on the subject of how important it is to always eat everything on one's plate. My mom says that her father always used to tell her to clean her plate. I say that I learned that it was good manners to do so from reading Laura Ingalls Wilder's books when I was a little girl.

---------------------
Side notes:

When I woke up for real, I was pretty mad at myself for having missed two false awakenings, one of them involving the classic dream sign of a digital clock changing the time it displays.

Right after I woke up from this dream, my memory of the exact words of the conversation I had had in the dream was much clearer than my memory of conversations in dreams usually is. I'm writing this on the evening of the following day, though, so I don't remember it as well. The story about me reading Laura Ingalls Wilder as a child and learning lessons about manners and etiquette from her books is true, and comes directly from my real life. My mom has never actually told me that specific story about her and her father – my mind just made it up, but it is consistent with his personality.

13. Night of 9/11

by , 09-11-2011 at 02:52 PM (SCPantera's Dream Journal)
I had a very bizarre dream that I'm compelled to document. It wasn't quite lucid, but...well, read on.

Early as I can remember, I was in heaven in what looked like a cross between a mall and a cathedral. It was very crowded. By chance I found the man who had murdered me in heaven also. I declared that I was going to kill him (smite his soul or whatever) and that the Angel of Vengeance was on my side. After this short monologue I was about to attack the guy, but before I could do anything he stabbed me, killing me. After a short delay I was reborn as an angel of vengeance, called a One (Something--I can't quite recall what, it wasn't "Winged", I think it started with an M) Angel, and not just one--it seems as I had spawned as a squad of armed angels. It seems that this rebirth had taken some time, since after returning the man had been long gone. I searched heaven looking for the man but could not find him. Instead I returned to Earth and, running out of patience, I began to kill anyone who looked like the guy (from the start of the fight to here, the dream passed as some sort of weird top-down camera strategy RPG). It seems that to end my rampage I was returned to Earth with no memory except the name "One (Whatever) Angel". The dream then seemed to follow me on a search to find out what this name meant. I began by asking clergy or people who seemed religious; they all either straight-faced denied that they exist or looked at me in shock and horror and told me to get away from them. As my search went on with no answers I began just asking random strangers (my search took me to a drink stand just as it was closing in what was some in-dream deja vu, as I'd recognized this even from a deep early part of the dream that I don't now remember). Early on in my search I'd come across a girl who had overheard me asking questions at some point and had taken an interest in me. She eventually explained to me that she could help me remember everything through a process that involved dreams (vaguely Inception-style); I seemed to have a vague understanding of this process already and was firmly against it for a while. As time went on and my search for answers grew more desperate I eventually agreed to try it. It was to take place in what looked like some sort of park. As I entered, I came in behind an old, black lady accompanied by a young child. I recognized the old lady as someone I had previously asked about the angel who was disturbed by my question. The child stopped ahead of her and turned around, he asked, "Are you sure you want to do this? It could be the last time..." to which the old lady responded with something about helping these troubled young folk. I followed them to where the girl was waiting for us (I'm going to give her the name Ashley, it seems to fit my memory). In addition to the old, black woman (let's call her Oracle, since she looked like the latter version from the Matrix), Jon Voight was (apparently) helping us. They explained that Ashley would have to sit/lay on top of me in order to merge our dreams and gave me a large bag to put over my butt since apparently the process had several unpleasant side effects (supposedly most people shat themselves upon coming out of it). I sat down on a bench and they gave me some sort of injection and then immediately I was in the back (left) seat of a car, with Ashley sitting to my left, the others in the front (Jon Voight driving). I explained to them that I was once an oneironaught myself and briefly described my first lucid dream. As if to reply and boast of his own lucid dreaming skill, Jon Voight turned his head into an inflated version of Ashley's head. We all laughed, but I noticed that the situation was rather strange so I did a reality check that failed. I quickly exclaimed, "Holy shit, we're dreaming already! That's amazing." Then I looked over at Ashley, who was looking at me also, however she appeared out of it or drunk. I noted here that despite the reality check failing I didn't seem to be able to exert any lucid control; at the time I attributed this to the process occurring in the overarching dream storyline but now that I think about it after the fact it seemed kind of weird. At this point I had a very brief false awakening (I only remember because I awoke to a lit room before actually awakening) which was followed quickly by an actual awakening.

I'm not going to count this among my lucid dreams being as it fit into the context of the dream that my reality check would fail (maybe this also explains my apparent lack of dream control). It was a curious experience. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to see the end to my search for answers.
14. Golf, lizards, creating weather and becoming lucid.

I started off on a golf course with my friend, we were playing golf against some pro's and i was joking around saying "oh im brilliant at this hockey game" to see the reaction of the golfer, he squared up to me and said "what?" i said "oh i'm sorry sir i meant golf you see"

We then started to play and my first shot i was using some big club of some sort i don't really know and i smashed the ball and it flew and landed right near the hole.
My friend then went "can i putt it?" "sure" i said.
He didn't use a putter he used the same club as i did, before i could say anything he'd hit it into some cove with the sea flushing through it.

I went inside and ran to the back of this cove which was oddly quite well lit, it was a large cave ish sort of thing with rocks mainly covering the floor and streams of water from the sea, as i turned around i noticed a lizard coming in but it was wierd, it wasn't reptilian yet it walked sort of like a komodo dragon, it had slimy amphibian skin which was dark green, rather like a frog and it had a tail like a juvenile frog.
It's head was wider than the rest of its body but had the same sort of flat feature to it, it opened it's large jaws to bear oddly placed teeth at different areas of the mouth whether they were the fiorst row or the back row but along the rows there were multiple teeth missing. The gums of its mouth were bright pink but not flushed with blood and it had no toungue either.

Suddenly a massive lizard came running through the door, must have beenb 7 - 8 feet long, it ran up to me and my friend shouted "you have to bow to it" i tried to bow and it put its jaws around my head and bit down, wierdly i was back in the same position i was in a few seconds earlier, much like a checkpoint.
This time however i grabbed a nearby rock and slammed it down on the lizards head and made a break for it.

When we got outside we were on the street and it was night time, the yellow emitting from the street lamps reflected on the environment and myself.
Another lizard was there so this time i picked up a fire extinquisher and sprayed it, it was the extinguisher with CO2 in because of the metal ejector but oddly when the CO2 hit the lizard it turned to a foamy substance, but then i realised it was snow, so i said "lets make it snow!!"
I sprayed the whole street with the stuff and before i knew it, i was getting cold. I fell back into the snow and began to make a snow angel, it was cold, but didnt melt.

I walked down the street and ran and slid on my feet along the large ice patches.

This - is when i realised i was dreaming, not through any reality check but instead through the awareness technique. I needed to solidify myself within the dream so i looked down at my hands and began to inspect them, first looking at my palms which were still yellow from the emitting street lamp, the creases on my hands were identical, as if my mind just knew exactly what they looked like, i turn my hands over to look closesly at the tiny blonde hairs and the pores on the top of my hands, i then said "stay lucid - solidify me in this lucid dream" i felt a rush of excitement in my stomach and i calmed it. I then said "clarity!" and the whole world became extremely clear yet i still was looking down at my hands, i could feel myself lifting from the dream, possibly from the excitement.

I knew i wasn't going to be able to regain this control so there was one technique i finally tried to use, i closed my eyes and fell backwards and then kept my body extremely still waiting for SP.
I knew i was awake, or thought i was, with SP i began looking at HI with my eyes closed, i felt myself sort of spinning, suddenly my arm had a spasm and i knew i had come out of SP. i sat up in my bed.

I then really woke up from my false awakening.
15. Dream Rain

by , 09-10-2011 at 07:19 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
After 8 hours of sleep with barely any dreams I went to sleep while listening to a rain tune with my mp3 player.
Then I dreamt that I was in my room, it was pretty realistic except for the fact that the curtain was mounted with a pretty strange device, made out of black plastic. It was foldable and seemed to be designed for mobility. There was a slit in the wall above the curtain where lots of rain poured through, into my room. I got up to somehow stop the rain and did something with the curtain device. Then the dream faded already.
