    1. First DJ Post... 08/25/10

      Honestly, I'm not sure if this is public or not, but I'm leaving this forum open bedside while I sleep. If I have a dream, the plan is to wake up and post it. Here goes nothing...

      ...going to sleep









      1st remembered dream at 5:33AM. Not very clear, not lucid.

      I awoke at my parent's house in PA (a long way from where I live, I will be there this weekend). My dad was outside working on a few things, I was looking for something to eat. Tried to pee but I couldn't. My parent's house was set up very differently than it actually is. There were two food pantries, one outside and one inside. I eventually settled on some granola and a protein shake. My mother woke up, and I said hello and goodbye to her, and walked outside.

      The neighbor's houses were very similar to the way I had seen them in other dreams, although nothing like they actually are. My dad had just got done trimming a pine tree, which had some very unusual branch formations. It was almost as if some major branches had grown in rings, and my father had trimmed them so they looked like tree swings. I talked to him for a bit and asked if he knew who trimmed the flagpole at church (an event that actually happened about 15 years ago). He admitted to doing it, although I believe in reality it is still a mystery. Him and I were getting ready to drive to NJ.

      I was driving my car, and dad was driving a silver jeep for some reason. We were going to NJ to meet with someone, and trade body panels from his Jeep for some that would fit my car. Suddenly the scenery changed, and there was a road where the neighbors houses used to be. I stood and waited while dad pulled the Jeep around, then woke up.

      --

      2nd dream, woke at 6:56. Medium clarity, lucid near end.

      I parked in front of one store and walked to another in a shopping town. Upon returning to my car, I found 3 children (aged 4-6) in it, jumping up and down and tearing things apart. I yelled at them and they left, and I found significant damage. A woman started walking toward me (who I thought was their mother) but it turned out it was not. She was skinny with red hair, round glasses, and a very unattractive face. At this point I looked back down and realized that the vehicle I was upset about was indeed not mine at all. It was a metallic green Intrepid with some scratches in the paint and the rear deck ripped out. It had two horizontal rear windows, the lower of which was smashed. I started talking to the redhead for a bit and found her strangely attractive although she was not. A man and woman walked by whom she knew, and she ran to catch up with them.

      At that point I looked at the concrete ground and put my head down to get an even closer look, and realized that I was dreaming. I decided to fly.

      From an arial view, it turns out the shopping town was actually a floating island in space. I kept trying to fly to certain points, but kept overshooting my target and flying past the floating island entirely. After a bit of this, I got frustrated and decided to find my princess in a castle.

      Flying toward the castle at the top of the floating island, it starting looking more like an early-90s videogame as opposed to reality. I had to fight hard to turn it back into a castle that looked real. Upon arrival the dream went from 1st person view to 3rd person view. I knocked on the door. A woman answered, whom I promptly kissed. I then woke up.

      August 25: I have remembered only slight bits like the first i was running at night with mike ivanov and i saw a guy ahead running with a ponytail that made me suspicious then the scene changed to hanging with zoeller once i ran to his house which was like a housing complex because houses were close together. eventually a car pulled up it was a silver honda or vanish car(im bad with cars) and out came this jock-like kid(douche) who mocked zoeller about his sister and her being hot; then somehow I went to a random garage and talked to mike choi and someone else and then it hit me.. I knew I was asleep so I shouted I am dreaming! Then I tried shooting a fireball but my dream went apeshit. And all this crazy input in my dream prevented my concentration. Like the talking of mike choi and a dc and when I did the fireball motion upwards a train (I saw it through a two foot wide and quite long space in the roof. was above and extremely loud and heavy(it shook my dream vision like crazy) I was literally trippin' around because of the powerful tremor caused by the train that rolled on above me. eventually I woke up. I think mantras may help me well.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      Still on my small crisis! At least its going very good on my new business stuff. Two dreams, once lucid:

      Second:

      I woke up from a dream and just lost it entirely. I realized I was still under my new business changes thoughts. They came to my mind right away. It was early so I told to my self the only way to improve the night, was to have a lucid, so I had to turn lucid, yes or yes, no options.

      I had a False Awakening in my room. My wife was telling me it was time to wake up. I felt very tired and I needed a lot more of sleep. I got out of my bed with my eyes half closed. I really felt really tired, so tired that I could put my reality into questioning. So I did. I looked at my hands, however, I just saw my hands blurry, maybe too blurry due tiredness. I decided to jump. I jumped and kept in the air. I was floating in the middle of my room. I felt really satisfied and I though, "This is so nice, I do not have to wake up, I am just dreaming!" My wife, half asleep was going to the bathroom, I flew away to my living room and opened the door (I was levitating by then) I flew out of my house.

      My house was in the middle of a very dark forest. I do not recall many trees, the sky was black and there was no wind. The quality of the dream was very low. I flew up high. I could see my dream house surrounded by a few trees. Darkness surrounded my house and there was like a wall about 50 feets away from my house. I flew towards the wall and I flew over it. I only saw nothingness. Eternal darkness... there was nothing outside. I remembered that scenario on a few lucids when I was a kid. I landed and I focused in seeing skycrappers once I flew back up.

      I flew again and now, instead of darkness and nothingness I saw I was in an island, surrounded by water. I gained height and I realized it was dawn, almost night. I saw skyscrapers starting to lit up for the night, I also saw the shadow of the sun on the sea. It was beautiful.

      I flew towards the city of lights I just saw. I reached it in no time. I started to walk in the street.
      For a few seconds I lost lucidity. I saw the dream in third person, like behind a screen. It was like a youtube video of myself. I was walking on the streets and the video was titled, "Walking by the Animus" I started to think if Animus was for guys and Anima for gals or it was the opposite. I wanted to see how much detail my dream was having, so I went back to first person. I was in front of one building. The lights inside were on. I saw an office and every single detail. A computer, a cup of coffee, pens, pencils, chairs... I did not see any DC. I was flying by the building, observing it.

      Suddenly, I was in my bed and my wife was waking me up. It was time to go. I felt more rested this time but I still found odd the situation. I woke up once more for real.

      - Being so ridiculously tired.

      Reality check performed:
      - Hand check (partial failure... left me with doubts)
      - Gravity check. (failed. turned lucid)
    4. Loss of Hope

      When I became lucid I had woken up. It wasn't excitement that I was lucid that awoke me, I think it was part of my dream and I started doing this in my bed :/

      The Blaze Date: 8/24/10; Lucid: Yes
      My mother is talking on the phone to one of her friends. It is really dark outside. I notice the gas fireplace to my right. Suddenly I look at my house, as if I was outside the house now, and it is on fire. I'm yelling at my mother because she left the gas on and the house caught fire. I was so pissed. I was cussing her out and then she started cussing at me. I felt so sad now, I had just lost my home, my life, my everything. I'm sitting on a mattress now, for some reason there are beds outside my house? And I'm filled with so much dread because I lost my home. I take my fist and start banging my head thinking "I wish I could just go back in time and prevent my house from blowing up."

      I felt everything I did. My dream disappeared and a brief vast whiteness flashes by and I wake up. [I'm now in my bed, not dreaming, looking at the clock on my wall.]

      Dream signs: When I desperately want to change something, prevent, or escape, I become lucid a bit, being able to change the setting, the characters, my actions, and other peoples actions.

    5. Starbucks Favor

      Notes:
      I'm still going through one of those really long dryspells.
      Each dream that I have right now, it's always one of the following.

      - No lucidity.
      - Low lucidity.
      - Lucidity with poor control.
      - Lucidity with dark vision.

      It's getting on my nerves.
      Have another good lucid already!

      So, this dream started with me being in an outdoor setting. It was sometime in the afternoon; the sky reflected this because it was slightly darker. I was sitting under a long, rectangular stucco gazebo. It was chocolate brown in color and had windows all around the sides, like a miniature single-room house. There was one white door that led to a very short path, and then parallel to the gazebo was a two-lane road. There were houses surrounding both the gazebo and the road, like a neighborhood.

      In the gazebo (which was darker than outside, because it casted shadows and there were no lights on) was a huge cream and light brown area rug; it took up most of the floor space so I couldn't see what the flooring itself looked like. Against one wall was a long beige couch, one of those suede ones. I was sitting down on this couch.

      I knew that I was expecting one of my friends to return anytime with a cup of Starbuck's coffee. Although in real life I hate everything Starbucks, apparently I begged her excessively to run to the place and get me something. She returned, opening and closing the door to the gazebo, and walked inside. She gave me a white foam cup with the Starbuck's logo on it. I thanked her, taking the cup.

      Then she told me that I owed her a trip to Starbuck's some time over the next few days, for the favor she just did for me. I told her, "why not now? Let's go." And without waiting for her answer, I started to walk towards the door, and I heard her beginning to follow me. When we got outside, it was much darker, so I decided to postpone the trip.

      "Tomorrow," I told her.

      With that, I became lucid and confirmed the dream state by attempting to push my finger through my palm, having forgotten the nose reality check at the time. As always, I needed to make a bit of an effort to get it through, but I managed. I tried to summon at least five different people, none of them to any avail. I then just decided to take things easier than normal and walk around, exploring the dream world. I looked back at the gazebo and observed the wood. It was extremely realistic, and when I ran my hand over it, I could feel the tiny strips of frayed wood on it.

      I also observed that the whole scene had a slight "bloom" effect to it. Bloom effect is like a very subtle glow.

      1. Mike Rowe (?) and I were on a crane in the middle of the ocean. It was 50 feet above the ocean (according to Mike). He was walking out on the long part of the crane for some reason, and he was saying that he hated water and heights. I took his place out on the crane, but shortly after, I fell off. I fell for a really long time, then I went on to another dream.

      2. I realized that I was dreaming, remembering nothing prior to this realization. As soon as I realized this though, I "woke up" but I didn't actually wake up. It looked as if I did though, because I was in my house in my bed. This ended all lucidity.

      3. After I "woke up" into this dream, I realized that it was 9:30 (according to the digital clock in my room). I was late for school. I just tried to go back to sleep because I figured it was too late to go to school anyway. Then my sister and one of her friends came into my room and explained why we were late for school. They said that they were trading folders, so they hadn't left for school yet.

      First lucid dream (even if it wasn't anything) in a long time, so I'm happy for that.

      I need a dream ...reader person.

      My dreams have been weird lately, but this'n takes the cake.
      This is my dream after my second time going to bed, so that means I was asleep first, then I woke up...
      ate some Cheetos and watched television of some comedian on channel 71, and then went back to bed.)

      I can't exactly remember my dream, but i remember like...

      being awake for the first part of my dream.

      I heard my mom get up, then I heard Loren screaming he wasn't short. (He's so grumpy in the mornings)
      And so like, I thought of FMA (Full Metal Alchemist) and then my black nothingness morphed into FMA.
      And then.. I lost awareness, and dreamt a weird dream of Edward Elric (Main character, blond hair) crying, throwing something that looked like some Japanese candy i bought the other day (It looked like a pack of gum, but it was in green wrappings with little white boxes that looked like serving sizes and black scribbles, couldn't read it) , and his red jacket at Roy Mustang, then let out a sad scream and dissapeared.
      It was raining, and they were outside when this happened.

      Then like an anime,
      it flashed to inside, and Roy was sitting before a young looking dude with short brown hair. Kinda like Hughes but younger. There was a window in my dream view, and you could see the rain pounding harshly.
      Roy thought of something, and then like in the animes, his pupils shrunk a bit.
      He clenched his hands to fists as tears started to slide down his cheeks.
      Roy Mustang doesn't cry.

      Anyway, he said something in Japanese

      And then i recall looking down at the scene and seeing English subtitles flash, then show up as "Ed was trying to tell me something."

      I don't know Japanese..but it sounded..ya know..right.

      And then a shrill ringing broke through, and Roy looked up, as if he was staring at me, and then i woke up to the sound of my doorbell being rung.

      I swore I heard my mom scream "GET THE DANG DOOR, IT'S MAKING THE DOG BARK."

      So i stumbled out of bed, looking at the clock. 7:08 AM

      Almost time for the kiddies to get up for school.

      I walked over to the door and answered it, and it was some random witness.

      He left and I looked around, not hearing the shower anymore or sounds of my mom in the bathroom, and my brothers bedroom was empty.
      The hell...

      I stumbled into my bedroom to check the time.

      It was 10:12 AM

      And the witness only took 3-ish minutes, because he saw i had just gotten out of bed.

      I recall there being a blank spot in that time, where nothing happened, and I just thunk.

      Surely I didn't think for 3 hours.

      And I swear the clock said 7:08.

      The hell's going on? D<

      Am I going insane?

      Why are fictional characters being sad in my dreams?

      Why did Ed through candy and his Jacket at Roy?

      Why am I hearing Japanese in my dreams? Oo

      WHY ARE THE CLOCKS BEING STUPID? D<

      And why do I have lucid dreams?
    8. Wave 26: Sigh... another shitty one

      Yay another DILD where I wake up instantly! Sigh... but NEW RECORD! 6 DREAMS in 1 NIGHT!

      Dream 1: Something to do about my schoolbus.

      Dream 2: I am Spongebob trying to infiltrate Squidwards house, which is a maze. I think of laying flat on the wall til he passes but he sees me. Damn it.

      Dream 3: Sometimes im on the comp, sometimes im not. Depends First im not. I am in a car with Russell
      Crowe. When our car ride is done, I decide I will collect celebrities. There was a name, but i forgot However, to get a celebrity, you need to go through a series of hallucinations, mostly scary ones (like SP). I pick Cameron Diaz on my comp, while Amelie is watching me. Im not in front of my comp anymore, but inside a purple tunnel. A big smiley face appears before being crushed by spikes in a bloody scene. I dont recall aquiring Cameron, and I pick another star. The screen starts with HI but then the screen comes back to the home page. I immediatly think something scary will pop up and the home page is part of the trick. This proves shocking enough for me to wonder if im dreaming. While im doing a successful RC grandma is walking towards the room. Now I think to myself: Ok, im dreaming. Great. And of course, I wake up. Again. Nice

      Dream 4:
      Part 1. Im a thief running away from cops. On rooftops. Video-game style. The kind of burglar like in a cartoon. You can also pick your character, all I remember is that the burglar holds a bag of money that slows you down. So at some point im cornered by two policemen. One has a gun but doesnt fire, the other a HUGE fan. He turns it on towards me and I fight against the wind to shoot it with a Charged Beam which I apparently have. I remember thinking: Come on thats not fair! I manage to keep running on other rooftops. Then I start again. All over again. Until I somehow hear about a secret escape through a prison that baffles police dudes. I try to find it but my mom calls me to go in the pool. So I quickly find my secret which is like a place you jump in and pop out at the other side.
      Part 2. In my backyard it is foggy, cold and even raining a little. I ask my mom if we really have to go today, but its because Francis, who is fat, needs to train and do more physical exercise for his ankles. Me and my sister hop in while he hangs around. Suddenly his ankles start hurting like hell and he screams in pain. He leaves the pool.

      Dream 5: I have lived this dream before. Today? A week ago? A month ago? I dunno. But it was not my first time in the following dream. I have to save a princess, or something like that. Not sure what, but its very important. I am in a church with tons of persons on the benches. In a dramatic entrance, my partner Arnold Schwarzenegger comes inside with a ray of light. We both go in the middle and he does a ritual with an onion. While he does this bad guys jump to attack us and prevent whatever were doing. In them is Fonzie (but old, like in AD) and Lindsay Bluth. There are more I cant recall. Arnold throws me the onion and in reflex I throw it to the bad dudes. I immediatly recognize my mistake and manage to take it back. Once the ritual is complete, the princess is born inside Camille, and shes gonna have to blow up to give it birth. Nice. A parade storms all around. A woman is wearing a big orange afro wig. Another has puppets.

      Dream 6: I am talking to an old man in front of a shelve full of music CDs. He talks to me about how he loves Billy Talent and other Alternative/punk bands. Hes wearing a red jacket. I propose to him other artists from my music library, including Daughtry and Nickelback. Then when I mention Green Day, he says: Oh yeah, that was his girlfriend in hockey! And im like: Yeah! Uh...What? Thats it.

      Six in one. Yay! Thats gotta be like the whole freakin night! But with all this, 6 NIGHTS LEFT. I decided tonight is my last shot. If I dont get a respectable, full lucid dream in the following night (like my second one ) im pulling out THE HEAVY ARTILLERY

      That means RC every freakin minute, DEILD, MILD or WILD if fail, WBTB, even CAN-WILD if required. Im gonna read, watch, post, live the dream. The clock is ticking, but I WILL fly until school. Thats guaranteed. I will even talk to my parents about it and listen to MP3s if it is absolutely needed.

    9. New York, I love you??

      i've always wanted to go to new york, so this dream as me having mixed emotions. and on top of that, it was clear i was with a man. i can't recall who it was, but it felt like i've known him before. and he was nice to me. he made me laugh and vice versa. he drove and i was in the passenger seat. he waited and didn't say anything when i put on my shoes in the car. it's weird because the shoes i were putting on, actually hurt my feet in real life. (i wore them to a job interview, and by the end of it, my feet were aching), but in my dream. they fit perfectly. and i even asked myself why don't they hurt? we walked side by side, and dropped people off at their destination. this is a dream, so new york was literally across a few streets, bodied by a little water. i screamed joy when i saw the statue of liberty, and even pointed to show him. he didn't get mad. he didn't yell. he followed where my finger was pointing and laughed at my enthusiasm. he loved me, and i loved him too. this was for certain. we parked, and walked around new york streets. i saw a fire truck, with new york firemen perched outside of it, and i told him "i wanna take a picture", and i took out my cell and snapped a few shots. we walked up a few hills. the street signs were similiar to the ones around my neighborhood in los angeles; and i was excited to go back home and tell my grandma about it. prior to that, we were inside a cupcake shop, waiting for something. we were standing around waiting for something. i'm not sure what it was. we were just there.

      but, i awoke about a few minutes ago, and i feel a certain way. at one point, i started to cry because i didn't know who the man was. if it was 2 of my exes that i'm in contact with, or just a random, great guy that happens to like me. i know for sure in my dream i wasn't big. my weight was just correct. i have so many answers, but i don't know where to start.

      I only have time to record this one dream, but it was amazing, at least in feel.

      I've woken up during the transition from one dream to another, slightly anyway. I transition straight into this attic which has a ladder that I am climbing. I'm lucid. The feeling is unbelievable, and not even the lucid part. I feel like I am standing there, and it's real life with a surreal touch. I can smell, feel, touch, and see everything so clearly. It is as if I am ACTUALLY standing there. I have experienced but once before in my dreams. It's unbelievable, as if my body has literally been transported to another world during the night. As I climb the ladder, slowly, I open the door that is on the ceiling. As I do so, sunlight streams in and I fly right up into the sky. I soar above the lands that lie below, and euphoria encompasses me. The realization that I am once again in my dream from a month ago or so hits me. I am amazed that i was able to tap into this feeling and world again. It is the actual continuation of that dream. There is golden sand scattered next to a gleaming, deep azure ocean. There is a castle fortress along with other buildings of a medieval appearance. The most amazing thing is that despite being far into this sky, hovering, I can see every detail of the land below. Off to the side there is a dark section of this land, where presumably the villain lives. She is actually female this time around, and I can feel her presence. But along with hers I can also feel Martinez's, who is trapped along with other people in one of the buildings. I don't see him, but his face flashes in my mind.. I need to get rid of the evil. The dream transitions..

      I'm on a bus with a group of students who posses magic, it seems. Or at least they are going off to magic school. I'm sitting next to an older teenage guy, although I don't feel like myself. I'm in someone else's body with their mind. I'm telepathic, and I discover that the guy next to me is as well. I say something to him from my mind, and his face displays shock as he discovers.. It's strangely beautiful, talking to someone simply from one's mind. I share with him my plans about catching the villainness. He agrees to go with me to fight. We escape the bus..and I cannot remember much more save for the fact that I am starring in a novel.

      These dreams were dreams of firsts. First time tapping into the same dream from a previous night. Unbelievable.
    11. A Talk and First Flight.

      Time: 10:40am (when I woke up)

      Description: This was my first lucid dream that I retained lucidity, and second one total. It starts as a false awakening from a really weird dream that is an adventure in it's own right.

      Dream: Immediately after I lost "dream consciousness" in my non lucid dream before this, I see an image of a long doorknob that looks like an I on it's side. It spins really fast as the image appears closer to me, think of the cliche newspaper articles you see spin onto movie screens. The spinning stops and I now look around my room, well it's my childhood room, I immediately become aware of the possibility of another lucid dream. I getup from beneath the blankets I am in, and roll off the bed, landing on my feet I head towards the door and open it. I have the same feeling as my first dream of a different gravity almost. It really feels strange. I walk into my hall and head right towards the living room. I notice Christmas decorations (the ones from when I was a kid.) and look at my living room. I see the T.V. entertainment center with little dolls on top, and decorated lights around it. That is straight ahead of me. Now where I am standing the kitchen is to my left, the door leading outside is to my right about 6 feet. And a couch-side table is 3 to 4 feet in front of me. I see my mother sitting in her usual spot (still hasn't changed lol). A t.v dinner tray in front of her but it is early in the morning she uses it to have items she needs in front of her. The couch-side table is about 1-2 feet high off the ground, the couch is a long green couch. And at the end of the couch to the right is the entertainment center. My mom says "Good you are up, sleeping in will ruin your sleeping schedule." I look at the room and see the clock we have, it looks like a very shorty version of the grandfather clock, it hangs on the wall its brown, has the pendulum swinging thing, the whole thing isn't more than 2 feet tall, but I notice it's position is moved from where it normally is. I look at this already lucid, and see its round face with the numbers is completely pitch black! like its a dark void. I feel the need to do a reality check as this is all to real, my mom hands me the phone to check something, as she normally does in real life, and I use it to do a RC, I can't read the menus or anything. This confirms what I already knew, I was dreaming. I don't get excited and remain calm, to keep the flow of the dream going. I now notice that I am not wearing anything but my shorts (what I usually wear to bed). I tell my mom "Mom, right now I am dreaming, you aren't really there, its just my subconscious representing you!" She didn't believe me (I read dream characters can't be convinced that your dreaming lol) "Your right sweetie!" she says not paying much attention to me, kind of blowing me off. "I still love you though mom." And give her a quick hug. Now the first thing on my mind is to be able to fly, so I head for the door. I open it up, and leave the house. Outside everything is covered in snow, the cement side walk though is all shoveled and the ground seems dry (the cement parts) but the grass is completely covered in snow. I notice an ice patch on the side walk. I run on to the grass and jump up. I fall normally back to earth, disappointed I wonder why, then it dawned on me,I must believe I can fly. So I close my eyes and really think that I can, I start levitating above the ground. Slowly rising. I start noticing other houses covered in snow, i feel the wind blow, but don't feel any cold. As I climb higher and higher I can finally see the neighborhood block. Everything is so real and I start getting butterflies because of the height, but quickly dispel any negative thoughts about my confidence of flight. Now I am way past the tops of the trees around my house and looking around at all the two story houses covered in snow around me. I suddenly stop rising to enjoy the view, I turn around and wonder where to go.......when suddenly I lose "dream consciousness" and I wake up for real, in my bed. I lay there for a minute or two just thinking of what I accomplished. It was a remarkable experience. Actually being there, not just remember it like any other dream, but actually being there, like waiting in line for the dragster at Cedar Point, I was really there, and it was the same for this dream, I was really there, but not at the same time. I can't wait for greater and longer adventures within the realm of my mind.
    12. The First

      Time: around 8:40 am

      Description: To start off I want to explain something. I had this as my very 1st lucid dream to date that I can remember. I had another more lucid one right after this with more details and events and more control, but I will post that at a future time. Most of this is straight out of my dream journal by my bed. I also apologize if it doesn't seem like there weren't many details, the dream really only lasted about 1 minute.

      Dream: The dream starts off with me looking at a stack of ps3 games and on top of them are ps2 games, I can't remember any of the titles but I think the very top ps2 game was NHL 2003. As I look at the stack I rotate them to see their spines. The games are sitting on my wooden brown desk at the center. I am sitting on my knees on the ground, and I notice my nephew on my computer struggling to play the ps2 games (pcsx2 for anyone that knows the program). So I tell him to move over so I can go to set it up. He gives me this look of frustration as he looks at the clock in my room, which I think (he never tells me, but I assume) that he has to go soon, that him and his dad are leaving. I tell him "Chill dude, it takes an hour to setup anyways." As I look at the screen and see some text, the text onscreen seem to shift and shake (that could of been my eyes, kind of like the shaky vision you get from drinking to much alcohol) and strange runic symbols appear. At that precise moment I yell out "HOLY CRAP, I AM DREAMING!" My stomach goes to butterflies and I get really excited. I fall backwards, and the scene starts to zoom out, I get the feeling you get when going down hills on a roller coaster, and now I am in a black void so to speak, I instantly remember the spinning technique that Laberge created. To re stabilize the dream, it works for a moment as I zoom back into the dream, I notice someone was sitting to my right, the lights were off and the glow of the computer screen was the only light source, I don't know who this third person was, my suspect is my nephews younger brother. I don't know. Now I zoom back out as soon as I touch down in the scene again but I kinda of lose consciousness so to speak. Now I imagine myself spinning, now a new seen appears where I am high above a city with lots of buildings, they all have a purple glow about them, I can tell it is night time, cause I see the windows have lights coming from out them. I am above the city, but again lose consciousness again (I mean everything turns pitch black) and I shoot out of my real bed, it takes me a moment to collect myself as this was the most intense thing of my life.

      Other details: One extra detail I need to say, is once I went lucid, the feeling of being there was so real, except for it feeling like my body was kind of heavy or light, gravity on me seemed way different.

      So there it is, I hope you guys have comments, I am interested in what you have to say about the experience, and it was an experience cause I really was there, it wasn't a memory of a dream, I was there!

      I thought I would just upload some of my dreams I have recorded in my DJ. Also a few past dreams I had when I was younger.

      Mythic Date: Unknown; Lucid: Yes
      This dream is one from the past. I was this strange creature, blue, with colorful designs, bipod like. I was in this strange world, blue skys - littered with clouds, beige rocky canyon with very shallow water running in it, like a tributary but the water was a bout 2 inches deep. Very warm. Waterfalls pouring into a shallow pond/lake. I remember seeing a female version of my species, whom I felt VERY attracted too. Like your first love or true love, this was the affection I had for her.

      I remember a ship dusting off and departing from the the world, and me and my counterpart had waved a goodbye as it left. I assume it dropped us off on this to colonize/repopulate? seeing as how we were the only species of our type on it. I remember seeing kids, for some reason I think they were mine so im assuming I have good relationship skills. This was one of my favorite dreams, the feeling of deep affection for someone is like none other.

      Slenderman Date: 8/17/10; Lucid: No
      I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with the Slenderman but this is my dream about it. I was in this Halloween looking town, dark with reds and oranges and blacks. I see decorations of witches and pumpkins. I'm in a group of 3 people. Me, an attractive woman with red dyed hair, and the Slenderman. Suddenly my dream switches settings.

      I'm now in an underground bunker, that seems run down but not derelict. It is populated with humans and it seems to be a commuter town. Water is draining from plumbing pipes that are sticking out of the cracking/breaking walls. I now switch over to the attractive woman. I remember sitting in bed with a drape over the side, it is very bright and I remember talking to the Slenderman. Now I switch roles again and I am the Slenderman. I seem to be thinking of evil intentions but not acting on them.

      Technicality Date: 8/22/10; Lucid: No
      Im using my laptop. The setting is my room. On my laptop I'm using BitTorrent for some reason. I appear to be downloading some program that doesn't exist.

      I'm now in my old town that I moved from. I remember my neighborhood and how nostalgic it is. Nothing more after this.

      Pokemon and Civil Wars Date: 8/23/10; Lucid: No
      This is a strange one. I'm not sure why I even dreamed about this. I see Team Rocket from Pokemon. I mean, the original Team Rocket, Jesse and James. It appears to be a live action reenactment of the show, but the actors look just like the anime characters. They were having a talk at a dinner table and discussing over something. Then the live action actors turned into the anime characters as the dream went on.

      Now I'm waking up, preparing for classes for college. I'm taking a shower but now my friends are in my house, talking and planning to do something. I change my clothes and walk downstairs to my deck. I look outside and see the Civil War happening in my backyard. I see a Confederate man and a Union man fighting. At this point, they both lose ammo, pull swords out and slice at each other. The Confederate wounds the Union soldier and then he executes him with a primitive pistol. Suddenly, the British from the American Revolution start charging at the Confederate and they kill him. I dont see blood or anything in this.

      Nightmares and Death Date: Unknown; Lucid: Yes
      I had a nightmare of being chased by rabid dogs. Huge dogs. I remember being bitten and not feeling the pain, but I felt shock and panic. I finally thought to myself "ENOUGH!" and the dream stopped in its tracks. I then proceeded to dream about more relaxing dreams. I've never had a nightmare since.

      I remember being on the Empire State building. I'm looking over the city, although its just a few skyscrapers and nothing more. Next thing I know, I'm falling, though I do not feel the experience of falling. I hit the ground, but instead of waking up, I wind up in a white room. Nothing but white. I cannot detail the size of the room but for some reason it seems big, unfathomable.

      I was at a lock on the waterway where my dad works, with a friend of mine. We're sitting on the grass, and she has a tiny turtle that she's feeding pieces of bread. I go with her as she carries the turtle over to the side of the lock and puts it down in the water. She tears off pieces of bread and throws them into the water. The turtle is eating them, and small fish swim up to eat too. More and bigger fish show up, and for a moment I see a piranha. I'm afraid that if she stops throwing bread, the piranha will start eating the other fish or her turtle.
      Even bigger fish start coming up, the water is completely full of them, big bass. My mom shows up, and takes some bread from my friend, and tosses a few pieces onto the concrete beside the water. I ask what she's doing and she says that she needs to get dinner. A huge bass flops up onto the concrete, and starts flipping itself further from the water. There was grass in that direction before, but now there's a long, but shallow, empty swimming pool. It was full of dirt and dead leaves, and the fish landed in it and stopped moving.
      I cross to the other side of the lock, and see a bunch of oyster shells stuck to the side, just above the water and clustered up high, and most of them are empty. The ones that aren't are still open, and I can see the pink skin inside breathing. There's a sign beside them that says "a clam shell contains air and 14 breathing mechanisms."
      I look across the lock at my friend, who has coaxed two sea lions up out of the water, and holding some bread up above on of their heads, trying to get it to reach up its nose to eat

      When the dream started, I was going through the mail in my kitchen, and found that I had been mailed a magazine. Inside the front cover was a message that said "if you want to know more, meet me in Vaughn" and there were instructions on which bus I should take, and a finished with "More instructions will follow." It was signed Deb Graves, who was a strange woman that I met(in real life) at a gallery opening recently. I was reading this message while sitting in my living room, and when I looked up my mom was on the couch with me, and I showed her the message.
      She took the magazine from me and seemed to read it, but when she looked back at me, she just started berating me. My mom acting like that is actually a pretty common dream sign for me, and it prompted me to do a reality check. I looked at my hands, and wasn't entirely convinced, so I pinched my nose and I could breathe. I stayed calm through the realization, and immediately started rubbing my hands together and looking around me, which brought the details of the room into focus.
      I didn't want to stay with my dream mom, she was still yelling, so I left the house. It was too bright, I needed to stabilize, so I bent down and ran my hands over the grass, which was wet. My mom had followed me out of the house though, so I started moving down the street. I was trying to will her away, tried to tell her that she wasn't real, I wasn't really sure how to get rid of her, but nothing I tried worked.
      She started trying to convince me that I was actually awake. Specifically, she said, "I know what you dont know. I know that if you looked at your hands right now, they'd look just like my hands."
      I started running from her, and I remembered reading a post on the forums about running really quickly on all fours. I started running on my hands and feet and it felt completely natural and smooth. I kept saying "faster, faster" and every time I did I felt my speed increase. The world was streaking by.
      When I stopped, she was still right behind me. I decided to try to fly. I closed my eyes and imagined what it would feel like to lift off the ground, and then it was actually happening. I started to drift upwards, and I was feeling thin and light, like I was transparent. I tried to visualize a forest before I opened my eyes, hoping that I'd be flying over it when I did. Instead I was still over the street, and my mom was clinging to my legs.
      I drifted back down, set her down on the ground, and she let go without struggling. I lifted up higher and higher and started moving forwards. On the horizon, there were billowing swirls of bright yellow and dark blue, and I started moving towards them. The detail faded quickly before I woke up, but it didn't feel abrupt.

    15. Unicorn and Terrorist Airplanes

      Notes:
      This one feels pretty similar to my last recorded dream. The vividness decreased when I became lucid, but I still managed to complete the evasive TOTM and witness a terrorist attack.

      This dream started off with me being on a long rope of grassy hill. It was a hill that rose only ten or fifteen feet from the ground, so walking back down to the ground would take less than a minute. It was probably later in the day, but it had yet to become noticeably dark.

      The rest of the land was flat and covered in grass, and you couldn't see anything in any direction except a road traveling along the base of the hill that led to a very nearby city. The tall buildings started at the end of the hill, so you can visualize how close the city was; I was right on the outskirts of it.

      I looked around and suddenly became lucid, shouting "yes" rather excitedly and doing the nose-plug reality check, which obviously failed. But then, the dream suddenly decreased in vividness. Things became slightly hazy and the lighting became dim, although it was still light outside. I rubbed my hands for stabilization and touched the blades of grass on the ground, but it didn't help. So, still being on the hill and in no position to move, I decided to summon a white unicorn that I could ride. After all, I had no idea how long the dream would last but I didn't want to flip out. I used the familiar turn-around-and-expect-it-to-be-behind-me technique, and it was.

      However, although it was a bit harder to see, I could tell that the unicorn was a bit smaller than normal. I don't know how to measure horses in terms of hands, but it was probably only four feet tall. It also looked like its skin was made of white velvet, and I couldn't see its muscles moving as it walked over to me. It looked sort of like a toy, but that didn't bother me. I got up on it with a jump and landed square on its back, without having to reposition myself.

      There was no harness so I looked away, out towards the city, and then back again; there was now a single metal hoop around its neck. I rolled my eyes and expected it to walk forward, and it did. The dream still wasn't fading, so I got off it to do something else.


      That was when I lost most of my lucidity, with only a bit lingering. The road on the base of the hill had now changed to a six- or seven-lane highway with cars traveling quickly along them. All the lanes were in one direction, I observed. Although I wasn't lucid, I then chose to summon a random DC to test my dream control. I tried to summon it, but nothing appeared. I looked at the sky and then, at that very moment, two large gray planes flew overhead at an incredible speed, directly into the buildings in the city. There was an explosion which blew me backwards quite a bit, and the city buildings were now on fire.

      The dream ended.
