    1. Zukin Slaughter + Spirit Warriors

      by , 12-04-2010 at 02:10 AM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
Ok. What did I eat last night lol.

      Zukin Slaughter

I was in a video game and it sort of looked like WoW. I was with 2 guys and a girl. One of the guys was saying something to the other boy, but I couldn't hear them properly to make out the words. The man summons a rope and captures the girl and I. We are brought to a dungeon like place.

The man tells us that he is going to go fight a Boss Monster, and that we should remain in the dungeon until he is done fighting. It's not like we had much of a choice though as we were tied up. The other girl sits where the red X is, and I sat on the other side of the half-wall. The door at the top is where he left to fight the monster, and the door at the bottom is where we came in at. The dungeon looked like something out of a cyberspace movie. The floors had streaks of neon green and the walls were a black with plaid blue design.

I sat patiently waiting for him to return. Looking over the half-wall, I saw a vine like thing growing from the floor. It was green, perhaps it looked more like a tentacle but it was branching off on the sides. It was attacking the other girl, sucking out her life. It turned its focus towards me, and I moved away from the first half of the room. I freed myself from the ropes, and went to the far corner away from the green ghosty thing. Before I could make it to the other side, the green spirit shot an arrow at me.

The arrow went through my chest and blood dripped and splattered on the floor. Determined to save my soul from being eaten, I continued to take my last few steps toward the safer corner until I collapsed on the floor. The pain began to encompass my entire body, and I dug my finger nails into the ground. They scraped against it and burrowed into the surface. By doing this, the top layer of the flooring several feet around me disappeared, uncovering a set of stairs. I took cover from the creature by hiding in the dips in the floor from the staircase. The tentacles of the spirit creature couldn't reach me here.

I was pretty pissed off now. I had been dragged here against my will, terrified, and nearly killed. When that man came back, he was going to get it. I waited patiently for him, wondering about what happened to the other girl in the dark room. She was being awfully quiet, so I assumed that she was dead.

I heard a slamming of the door, and peaked up above my secret ledge in the floor. There he was. He was wearing a suit of armor and had a beautiful sword in his hand. If he hadn't been so cruel I would have assumed that he was a hero. I secretly watched him as he scanned the room, looking for life. He didn't look shocked when he saw the other girl dead.

I creeped out of my ledge and hid behind one of the half-walls, waiting like a snake. When he came close enough, I instantly attacked him with all of my pissed-off-force. I acquired his weapon when he dropped it from surprise and began slashing into his stomach. Streams of blood came out of his mouth and he fell to the floor, but he wasn't dead.

I didn't want to kill him. So I left him there. I slowly walked to the other door leading outwards, not taking my eyes off of him. When my hands touched the knob, he looked at me and smiled creepily.

"Good luck escaping," He sneered. I wasn't sure what he meant by that until I closed the door behind me and locked it shut. When I turned around I was encompassed by blackness. I could barely make out a eternal series of staircases surrounding me. I knew that it wouldn't take him long to find another way out of that room, and thus I had little chance of fleeing without a re-encounter.

I felt around for a railing and then sped down the stairs blindly. I heard moaning in the distance. It was the moaning of the near dead. He was near. I saw a shadow of a creature against the wall.

      [missing time]

I was now in the bedroom, and we were having our last fight to the death. He was now a girl in black. I was continuously stabbing him with the sword, but it was only doing minimal damage. My arms were covered in blood from the massacre and he was equally fighting back. I was beginning to grow weaker when I realized that simply maiming him would not solve the problem. He must be killed.

I climbed on top of him and held him down. I took my long blade and held it against his neck. With a swift motion, I slit his throat. I left him on the floor and exited the room. I locked the door behind me. The door had a window on it, so I looked in. He was laying on the floor, seemingly dead. He slowly sat upright and looked me into the eye. The pupil in his blue eyes grew larger and larger until the entirety of his eyes were black. Upon seeing this, I ran out of the house.

      Spirit Warriors

I was trying to leave school really fast before the traffic blocked my exit. I put the car in reverse and accidentally drove over the grass. Oh well. The road twisted and turned abnormally. I accidentally drove onto the roof of the school. Don't even ask how that happened (I'm not sure). I couldn't drive my car off of the roof because there was no longer a ramp, so I was stuck there.

I went inside the school, in the room underneath where I parked my car. It was apparently the drama room. They looked like they were doing construction in the room. There were loose boards everywhere.

"Sorry I parked my car on your roof." They looked at me for a second and then laughed. They told me that it happens pretty often, and that I needed to visit the janitor in the school garage.

So, I went out to the garage. It was made like a large, square, wooden hut. The walls were not furnished or anything and it smelled like cedar. The garage had 2 floors and was very cluttered with odds and ends. I climbed up the stairs to the second floor. There was a wind chime hanging from an open window. Outside of the window there was a wooden roof. I crawled out of the window and stood on the roof. Sitting on the roof there was a guy looking out to the horizon. Next to him there was a sword that looked similar to the Godric Gryffindor Sword, except it had spikes lining the edges.

I asked him who he was, and he told me that he used the sword to fight off evil spirits that continuously attacked him. He gave me a battle axe and told me that if I was going to hang around him that I would need this for my protection.

We went to his house and he introduced me to his brother (looked like Joe's brother). His brother wasn't mentally stable and was often more perceptive of the spiritual attacks.

We were in the hallway when his brother fell to the ground and went into fetal position.

"They're coming" he whispered, while rocking back and fourth. His eyes were turning red and tears were forming and running down his cheeks.

      "Who's coming?" I asked.

"Ssh, wait a minute." The guy said. His body stiffened up and he held his sword ready for an attack. I held my battle axe as well, not sure what I was about to attack. A large "mass" came over us. It looked like a giant shadow. His sword lit up and we began to attack the mass.
    2. 11/22/10 Shattered Memories

by , 11-28-2010 at 04:50 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
House of the About To Be Dead
I am in a castle, I look around the room I am in. In spite of having had recent dreams of Hogwarts, that is not what comes to mind first here. I am thinking I am in the process of designing a video game. I am designing one of the levels, this castle will be a great setting. So right now I am looking around the level, trying to see where I want to put enemies and items and stuff like that. I place the enemies all over the place, and then I decide to do a run through to see how my AI on the enemies is working. So as the level starts, the enemies attack me, so I grab a weapon and fight back. There are weapons lying around, so I am able to use the in-game weapons to fight. Most of them are melee weapons, but I also find a gun or two. Ammo is rare so I have to conserve it. As I explore the castle I see there are enemies where I don't remember putting them. I think that is great, that means the AI of the game is making the enemies track me down to attack. I kill some more of the enemies and then I see someone else is in there with me, not one of the enemies. I look closer and see Walms killing enemies. Wait a minute…. Walms? Time for a RC! I am dreaming!

Now I am lucid and watching Walms kill enemies, making quite a gory scene of it as well, it looks like he might be eating some of them… I resume killing enemies, just because I am dreaming doesn't mean they don't need to die, and I finally make my way over to where Walms is. It looks like he is going to attack me, but then he stops, apparently seeing that I'm not one of the enemies. He makes some kind of comment to me, I say I was going to see if he could use a song spell… say gravity maybe, since I don't remember seeing him use that in a dream, and I am wanting to know more about DT… Walms just looks impatient, he says ok, but he'll only show me once, there are too many people to kill to waste much time. If I need more help, it will have to be another time. He goes through these steps relatively slowly, it looks like part of him briefly teleports and then reappears, and an enemy on the other side of the room is suddenly in two pieces… it looks like the enemy got cut open by some sharp claws, which I see Walms has formed. Ok, so I will try duplicating that… I select an enemy and try to do the same thing… epic fail. The result is my arm on the other side of the room, still holding an in game sword I had found, and flopping on the ground erratically while the enemy watches it in a totally confused state. For some reason this strikes me as particularly hilarious, and I crack up laughing. Walms is looking at me like I have completely lost it, and then he goes back to killing things. I grow a new arm. I want to try that DT again, but it didn't work so well last time. I have an idea. I look at the enemy who is watching my severed arm flop about. I pick up a sword on the ground near me, then I open a portal… just big enough for the sword to fit through… and I make the destination of the portal right behind the enemy. I shove my sword into the tiny portal, it emerges from the other end and impales the enemy. I pull the sword back and the portals close.

I am pleased with that, so I do it some more. One of the enemies looks like my ex boyfriend, James. He is trying to say he still loves me, which I don't believe. Walms enters the room and is killing stuff. James says some insulting stuff about Walms, I don't remember what, and Walms gives him a dirty look. I tell Walms that this one is mine, I'll take care of him. Walms continues on his way, killing another enemy. James says he wants me to call him IWL, I say it's not going to happen. He says he really wants me to call, he misses talking to me and wants to… *glurg* Now he looks like he's about to be sick. I follow his path of vision and see Walms eating an enemy, James seems pretty grossed out by that. I find this to be hilarious, too, and I start laughing again. I tell James to be gone before Walms decides he looks like a tasty snack. James scoffs at that, saying I know perfectly well that he can… I slip my hidden blade through a tiny portal that opens behind James' neck… and thus stab him. I wake up here.

      Designing the Moon
I am designing some more of my game. I am on the moon, with Nomad, and he is helping me design the game. I am working with a strange sort of biological machine, I am thinking this is normal, it is merely one of the utilities in the game design program I am using now. Nomad and I are discussing what we want to do on the moon, how we want to set things up, Nomad wants to start by terraforming the moon. Ok, that works, so we need to decide what areas we will have. I suggest different areas based on different elements, like a fire area, an earth area, an air area, etc. Nomad says that sounds awesome, and says we can start with the forest area. I am thinking of how the game can flow, and I am coming up with a vicious circle where each element needs one of the other elements and there isn't really any place to start. I am taking to Nomad about setting up the game so it will work smoothly, he seems a bit confused by the fact I am talking about video games, but he seems to play along for now. Upon finally coming to the conclusion that the earth level would be first, Nomad asks why I am talking about making a video game… I tell him this video game will be epic, with all these territories, it will make an excellent MMORPG. Nomad smiles and says that is awesome, we would make an MMORPG area for dreamers. I am a bit confused at first, then I think of something and tell him it is a great idea to use dreams to design parts of the game, maybe even most of it. Nomad says yeah, we should use dreams… dreams like this one! I look at him in a puzzled manner, he tells me this is a dream. That isn't making sense, I tell him we are designing a video game, not a dream…

      Space Ark
I am with MoSh in the landing bay of the tower on the moon, we are going to go somewhere Q has told us about. I am lucid for the first time, and thinking I can't wait to see what kind of place Q has found this time. We get in our ships, MoSh gets in his ship with Asuka, I get in mine with Basara, and we launch from the tower. Before we have gone far we find a wormhole that Q has created, and we fly through the wormhole to a distant area of space. There is now a fleet of ships near us, ships flying through space going to somewhere I don't know. We fly over towards the fleet, and I see fighter ships around that look like the ships on Starfox… There is also one huge ship that looks like a section of a planet under a dome, the other ships are all flying around that one, which seems to be the one to be protected above all others. We make contact with them, and they give us permission to land, making me wonder if Q has been here before us to tell them we are coming… We land in the landing area, and there are some people there, they are talking about what the ship is for. Apparently they were able to get warning of their star going supernova, so they constructed this space ark, with a section of every kind of habitat from their home world and also a selection of all the different animals, so they would be able to start over on a new world. He says most of the space ark is wilderness, and they have to take care of everything to make sure no life is lost on the way to their new home.

      Back to the Drawing Board
I am in a strange room, I know I am there to continue designing a video game, no doubt the one I was working on earlier. I am working on a puzzle part of the game now, testing it out to make sure it is working properly. The way to solve the puzzle is to step only on certain tiles and in the right order and use those tiles to reach the other side of the room. I do the jumps necessary to get across the room, I am wondering if it is the proper difficulty. Does it need to be harder? Easier? Have a difficulty setting? I'll have to give that some thought. When I am almost to the other side, I notice something wrong with one of the animated parts… there is a fan in a vent that is wobbling instead of spinning properly. So I get out of the game and enter a modeling mode, moving over to the fan and adjusting the size and shape of it to make it fit better. While I'm in the modeling mode, I adjust some walls and start adding a new room. In the new room there are two bodies that appear to be dead but will come to life and attack. This fact is actually betrayed by a slight twitch in the bodies that gives away the fact they aren't really dead. Now I just have to test to make sure they come to life at the right place to make the game challenging without making it impossible.

back to back nights with biz-baseball dreams. fuck me though. i waited awhile to type this up and a lot of it is gone. didn't take notes or anything.

Its All In The Bat (non-lucid)

My team is on the field and they've got a guy on first. The shortstop made an error and threw it to me at third base for some stupid reason and I was real made. The same guy made another bad decision. (My teammates always make errors when I dream of playing). I made a leaping catch for the final out.

My first at bat I struck out because my bat felt extraordinarily heavy.

Next time I was on deck a team mate gave me a choice between two bats and I chose the lighter one.

I got up with bases loaded. I hit I high fly ball and thought for sure it'd be caught, but it dropped in the gap in between first and right field. That won us the game 3-2.

      Frags:

      1. I was playing a video game with BroY. We were controlling a penguin and had to navigate and jump on platforms. I found a trick to make the penguin fly higher and therefore complete the course faster. "Congratulations" was displayed on the screen.

    4. The Slime Monster Returns (EEK!)

      by , 08-15-2010 at 10:51 PM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
Joe was showing me a new virtual reality game. In the game we were on a giant pirate ship. The pirate ship was sinking rapidly, and we were trying to deploy the lifeboats. The lifeboats weren't shaped like canoes or anything of the like. They were like little pea pods and fit one person per pod. I got inside a blue pod and floated in the water. Once everyone was off board then we switched to bigger pods. Still very unefficient however seeing as they now fit about 5 people and we still didn't have any paddles or any means to control the boat. My exboyfriend was in the boat with me...Oh no. We'll call him JA.

Our little pod floated into a cave and went around a dark bend. In the corner there was a platform and a thing wearing a dark cape...Sensing our pod it turned around rapidly.

"Why hello there, earthlings!" It snarled. I recognized it at once...!!! It was the Slime Monster from one of my earliest childhood nightmares!!!

From the old TV show, Ghostwriter

"I would like a volunteer from the audience to come up here," it says. I don't trust it. A man steps out of the pod in the water and steps up onto the wet rock that the Slime Monster is standing on.

"I will show you guys what I am most hungry for...FRIED TONGUES!!!" It laughs evilly...Ew...The Slime Monster reaches down the man's throat and rips out his tongue. He devours the slippery tongue. Ew!

"Now my darlings, I am still not satisfied. RUN or I will eat your tongues too!" Everyone scatters from the boat. The goal now is to run to point A where you will be Safe. After escaping the cave I run down a set of rock stairs, like something from a castle, and then ran into a green hedge maze. He was chasing me, but he was very slow. I must have been totally scared out of my mind because the hedges in the hedge maze gave me no concern, I dashed through the hedges and finally made it to point A near the center, where a green frog exploded when I reached the target area (Frogger, anyone?). Next to me I saw a floating "B" and "C" and realized that I would have to run from this tongue loving lunatic several times over...

I think I told Joe that I didn't really like the video game because it was too nerve racking...

Is this not the most f'd up video game ever?
    5. Random fragment and a series of DEILDs

      by , 07-10-2010 at 08:54 PM (Hidden's Dream Journal)
      Fragment
My mouth rotted. I brushed my teeth like a crazy person, and it went away, but when I looked in the mirror my face was covered in green spots.
      Yuck.

      Picnic at school
I had joined a group. It was sort of like being vegetarian, only you weren't allowed to wear cotton. I was getting ready for school, but I was having issues finding cotton-free pants. Apparently I hadn't thought this through very well beforehand. I went to the bathroom and saw that Gracie was eating our of the litter box and pooing in the tub (which we had two of, for some reason). This was quite aggravating.

I went to school. B asked me why I was freaking out about the summer homework since we had all summer to do it. She bragged for a while about her amazing planning skills and how she wasn't freaking out because she knew exactly when she would do the homework. I told her that a month can go by really quickly, thinking of lucid dreaming.
(I try to have at least 5 lucids per month, and often find myself near the end of the month with only a couple because up until then I'd thought I had plenty of time.) Apparently we needed a pass so we would be allowed to go to class, but I'd been absent the day before so I didn't have one. B asked me to go on a picnic with her family. I wondered why she wasn't going to class, but then figured she had a prep.

On the way to where we were going to have the picnic, I met up with a group of people who acted like they knew me and we were friends, but I'd never seen them before. They took my phone and walked off. I wondered if I would ever get it back, seeing as I didn't really know them. Then I saw that my friend A was with them, so at least I'd be able to track her down.

I went to a field, where B and her family were setting up for their picnic. We moved some chairs so they would be around a table and sat down.

      Dolphins! (DEILD)
I decided to DEILD, and found myself back at the field where we'd been eating lunch, only now it was underwater. There was calm music playing. I was lying down on the grass, waiting until I was sure the dream was stable before I moved. A dolphin swam by and up to the surface. The dream looked like 3D video game graphics. Decent ones, but obviously fake. I think I briefly became a dolphin and swam to the surface before waking up.

      Skiing on Pavement (DEILD)
I'd intended to go back to dolphin land, but instead I ended up on a ski slope with a road on one side and a city on the other. I was skiing uphill, so I turned around. Once again, it all looked animated. I looked at a dog running along the road, then stopped and looked down at the snow. When I looked back at the dog, it was like real life. I kept going. Someone said that this was Tokyo, and even though it looked nothing like Tokyo, I thought, Good, that means I'm already in Japan. Then I realized that I was just going to open a portal anyway, so it didn't matter where I was.

I was a series of swimming pools on my right, which looked epic. I jumped, using my skis to launch myself. It was awesome. I hovered at around tree level near the pools. There were several big, circular robot things in the water having a race and shooting at each other. I decided to ski past on the concrete. Although it was a restricted area, no one seemed to notice until they looked at the finish line pictures. "Wow, how did someone get up this high?" I heard one of them ask. "We should find this person!"

Idiots, I thought. Now what else was I going to do? Oh right, light sabers!!!

      Just shoot the kids (DEILD)
I was lying down on the floor, looking out the window at some plants. Again, the visuals were crappy and music was playing. I didn't want to risk moving, but I could hear voices behind me. My POV turned around on its own, and I saw a mother pointing a cardboard gun at her daughter. The mother was threatening to shoot her daughter on the left. The daughter shouted "nooo!" and I wondered what was wrong with that mom until I realized that they were just kidding around.
    6. Pirating The Orange Box

"What are you, president of his fan club?"
"Hehehe... no. That would be your mother!"
~ Conversation between the Scout and the Spy, from Team Fortress 2's Meet the Spy

My friend Dylan loves FPS games. I also enjoy them, especially online multiplayer games like Team Fortress 2. Anyway, I was at Dylan's house playing his Xbox 360 together. I turned to him and asked him if I could borrow his The Orange Box video game set so I could get the games as well. He was reluctant at first, but then he gave in. Victory! Then, my mother came into Dylan's house and began to bicker with me about going home.

    7. To the Fires of the Furnace

by , 07-01-2010 at 02:35 AM (From the Drowsy Mind of a Mouse)
"At the time of your appearing you will make them like a fiery furnace. In his wrath the LORD will swallow them up, and his fire will consume them."
      ~ Psalm 21:9

This one was epic. It was a video game dream, and those are always fun, and sometimes inspirational. The only downside to a video game dream is that, due to the fact that I saw it as a video game, I can not recall what exactly I did. I don't memorize what I'm doing while gaming unless I actually need to, and I didn't need to. So alas, I can only give a description of how the game worked.
There was a ghost with a bag. The ghost was a simple, cartoonish thing, and the ghost would go about a 2-D side-scroller platform level collecting stray spirits and avoiding enemies. It was like a treasure hunt, or a puzzle game, but it had a similar feel to Super Mario Bros. 2. The ghost was looking for stray malevolent spirits, mostly fire spirits. He would collect them in his sack and bring them to (this is so awesome) throw them in a furnace to burn for eternity! The incessant moaning became an annoying part of the game, though.

"brb/collecting spirits to thrust into a furnace for eternity."

    8. A Lot of WTF Moments

      by , 06-18-2010 at 01:51 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
All day yesterday I felt sort of drained. Even when I was doing active things, such as Karate, I felt like it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. Not sure what that was all about, but it made recall throughout the night a bit difficult.

      1- Fading to Nothingness
The first part of the dream is indecipherable. Something to do with... karate, maybe. The vague feeling of failure. A convenience store? Or some place with a lot of shelves...

Later, I am lucid, but everything has gone weird. I am watching the dream from above; it looks more like a map than a scene. There is a circle of colored squares; each square represents a dreamer. The big blue square beside me is WakingNomad. He is giving us all instructions of some kind, possibly about shared dreaming. ((If I hadn't had my sun sound mp3 playing in my ears, I wouldn't have even realized that I had woken up a few seconds after this.))

      2- The WTF Ghost Race
In school, but class is a video game. Our eventual goal is to dispel some nasty ghost pirates, but first we have to do a lot of random tasks. There is a map in the top right corner of my vision that has our goal markers on it. First, we are in a hallway that forks off into three other hallways. They all loop back around to the central one. Our goal is to run through these hallways in the right order for quite a good number of times. If we get the order screwed up, we have to start over. Our instructor tells us that the pattern is center, left, right. We run around for ages until we have achieved our first goal.

Next we have to meet up at the pirate king's gravestone. I am no longer paying much attention, because I have a major problem. For some reason, I accidentally brought a pocket knife with me, and I am worried that the teachers will find it and I'll get expelled.

      3- Poor Undead Kitty
We are riding our bikes along the interstate, of all places. I am going faster than some of the cars, which surprises me. Am I really going 60 miles per hour on my bicycle? I abruptly lose balance and topple over, sprawling out face first in the emergency lane. Uninjured, I leap to my feet and move my bike from the middle of the road. Wow, I'm glad that didn't kill me.

My dad and brother have stopped to make sure I am okay. Hey, look! A cat! I walk over to the edge of the woods where a pitiful looking cat is standing, mewing helplessly. I notice that she is missing all her fur... Her skin is pink and purple like the Cheshire cat. "Aww, we can't just leave her here! Let's take her home with us!"

My dad looks at me skeptically. "I'm not taking care of any cat."

"You don't have to! I know Chris can't turn down a stray, so we'll be able to keep it."

My brother picks it up. It now has white, fluffy fur, but I don't notice the difference. We start walking home ((what happened to our bikes?)) when suddenly Steven freaks out. "Uh... we have a problem." Concerned, I go over to him to see what he's talking about. He holds the cat up, showing me it's underside.

Holy crap! The cat has a huge slash going all the way from it's chest to it's belly... AND IT HAS NO ORGANS! It's completely hollow! "How can she still be alive!?"

      4- Hospitality and Time Warps
I am not myself; I am a guy who is aspiring to be a magician. Something terrible happens, and I end up staying with a kind old woman and her husband until I can fix what ever went wrong.

I think I just end up making it worse. I get stuck in some kind of time warp, and now I am apparently a famous hero. People who were supposed to be my companions now have no clue who I am, and they seem to worship me from a distance. A man named Fable, who I had gone to magic school with and who had beaten me numerous times is now a member of some sort of gang. He tells me that he's always admired my strength and wishes that he could become like me.
    9. #52. Gravity

I'm Harry Potter, in what's sort of a pre-2005 video game environment. We've shifted into a circular hall in some sort of grand manor - an inheritance from my family. I've been using it as a base, as I'm on the run from a million and one different organizations. The hall runs in a circle, and the inner doors are decorated by massive arches that jut out from the stone walls.

I meet with my friends on the second floor, outlining a plan to get back at our opponents.

I choose Hermione from a list of avatars and I'm jumping around on the landings above the doors.

shift, and I'm at my childhood elementary school, looking up at the big brick building and vaulting over dark blue fences. I know that I'm dreaming. The entranceway is one story tall, an impossible leap. I'm concerned that I won't be able to make it, as I've been having trouble defying gravity lately. However, I call up the will, and effortlessly make the jump onto the roof. When I land, I can still feel the upward momentum. I feel like I should be floating, but I have both feet on the ground.

Back to being Harry, as a child, I talk to a woman who's coming out of a house. The entrance is lit up brightly behind her, and everything is blurry. The house is where a clump of bushes should be. I talk to her, and she invites me in. I think she's Lily.

Zoom out to view a fleet of battleships approaching Earth.

    10. Sewing Machines, Watery Platforms, MUDs

      (original post dated 06/11/2008):

Dreamed that my aunt S was using my sewing machine to knit with, somehow. I wanted to remove the yarn in order to do some sewing, but didn't know if she was done with it yet, and my cousin Jenny wasn't much help because she didn't know. I had gotten a new pair of pants that, at first, looked really cool, but they were falling apart and had holes in them, which I had not realized when I bought them - hence the need to sew them up. Once I put them on, I was chagrined to discover that they were actually tacky snow-pants with a bright orange camouflage pattern on them.

Then, I was an imp cleaning up someone's house. And then, for some reason, we were also putting on this show, where we jumped from a platform into a lake below us, and I was an imp but also myself. Something about my swimsuit, I don't remember. I was debating a graceful dive vs. a back-flop (more in character for an imp) when the platform abruptly descended. The guy working it was asian and looked familiar but I couldn't make out who he was, and suddenly I was underwater and swimming back up to the platform before it ascended again.

Then I was playing a text-based MUD, and was debating whether to be a Paladin or a Monk, and decided to be a Paladin but specialize in unarmed combat and fist-weapons.
    11. Old Dream: Maze Boss

      June 27, 2004:
I had this dream that I had Bunbun and a cat in cages, and they kept getting out, and I was afraid that the cat was going to eat Bunbun so I put her back in her cage, but every time I turned around she was back out of it.

In the end, I had to keep the cat in the cage and give up on keeping Bunbun in her own cage.

Last night I had a dream that the cast of 8 Bit Theater was driving a jet plane down highway 41. I know there was a plot and stuff but I don't remember it, only that they eventually got the plane stuck in a hotel lobby.

      June 30, 2004:
I had this dream I was fighting the forces of evil in a video game. Or else it was a theme park. But you accessed each room by going through a maze in virtual reality and entering little trap doors. In the end, I had to go to this one area, which had a pretty cool design scheme, and go to the "Jail", which was also technically a portal to Hell. Everything was on fire and the main boss I had to fight was impervious to normal weapons. I realized that in order to kill him, I was going to have to bring a mage with me or else get magical weapons (I was thinking of getting a gun with enchanted bullets). But I realized that enchanted weapons probably wouldn't be enough, nor would one person. So I raised an army and we went and stormed the building and brought that mofo down.
