      Domestic Violence [DILD]

I remember becoming lucid in my house with my cousins P and G, although I don't actually remember ever seeing G (at least not clearly). He disappeared at one point while he and P were playing hide and seek. I was gaining clarity as I pulled P out from under the couch, having fallen asleep. He got up and sat on the couch and I decided to walk around smashing things. This lucid was very stable so I was pretty excited that I could get really worked up without waking up. I just knocked over and smashed stuff around the house for a while, like our HD TV, and then I went over to the living room dining table (which I didn't realize until after waking up was actually our old table). It was set up to be a perfect circle (it can be changed) and I picked it up with two hands on the rim and threw it into the air. I did that a few times, then thought to myself "Hold on a sec, what am I doing?" I put it down, then picked it up effortlessly with a single hand, took it into the den, and threw it like a frisbee back into the living room. I ran up to it and caught it on my finger before it hit anything, and I'm pretty sure it actually did turn into a frisbee during that. After that I turned around and saw our DVD bookcases which were kind of treated like one huge bookcase. I picked it up and tried to smash it into the wall but it didn't make a dent. Then I just decided to pick it up like a broadsword and take it back to my room and start smashing my computer and my desk. After everything there was adequately destroyed the dream started becoming blurry, and I woke up.

      dream lucid not a dream

So I find myself in a world where I had just performed my marching band show and am now messing around with a color guard flag. There was another point where I go and buy candy for the bus ride home. I chose two bags of sour skittles and a third bag where it was half regular skittles and half sour all in the same bag, I got this because I wanted regular skittles but all they had left were sour and these half and half kind. Each bag was on sale for only six cents! I proceed to check out and then what I can remember from there fades.

It fades into the whole band and my mother and two younger brothers are at Universal Studios. We loose one of my younger brothers in the crowd so I tell my mom and joey to step off to the right with me so we can find him, we are rejoined and continue on. The first place my mom wants to go is to a temporary rides section, like where you would find at the state fair. As we walk into that section (it's nighttime now) I think to myself that I really don't want to be in this section, then just as I make that thought the "carnies" start taking down the rides, collapsing them, and taking off. I didn't make this decision but just as I made that thought this started.

We go to another section of the theme park. (since my mom has a head condition we avoid big rides) I seem to know the place well as I show my family around suggesting different places. There was a section with all the desserts you could imagine, my mother declined since we had just gone to Cold Stone Creamery.

Then I decide to take them to a new section of the park, one with a mini version of Big Ben, which is what attracted me to it. It's a section that resembles a city (like the super hero section of Universal) I wanted and expected a ride to be hidden in a building, and as soon as we approached there appeared a Buzz Lightyear ride (strange since Buzz Lightyear is in Disney, not Universal Studios) I looked at the average wait sign which was over an hour, but as I wished it to go down it turned to 50 seconds!

Soon as I rode the ride I woke up.

I've been trying to attain lucidity for a few weeks now, and this is the closest I've been to being lucid. I never actually realized that I was dreaming, but I controlled certain aspects of the dream. I had to be lucid. Up until this point my dreams have been more and more lucid, I love exploring my mind deeper and deeper through this

      Lucid #28: REBMEVON rejected

I'm watching as Breaking Bad's Walter White (dressed as Heisenberg) plans to set fire to a Jeep full of laughing teenagers. He pours gasoline all over the kids in the car but they don't react, somehow not understanding what's going on. I'm panicked and horrified and feel like I can't let him get away with this. The intense emotion makes me lucid and the scene vanishes.

Now I'm sitting in what looks like a log cabin, staring at a simple television that's no longer switched on. I see daylight through a nearby doorway so I run outside, passing through a short alleyway before I emerge in a grassland with mountains on the distant horizon. It's a beautiful scene and I'm so relieved to be free of the nightmare that I start flying.

I've been in the air for only a couple of seconds when the Task of the Month occurs to me -- I need to write "November" backwards. I've created a mnemonic device that instantly brings the correct word ("REBMEVON") to mind. (My chosen mnemonic device is my friend Von introducing himself to Reba McIntyre.)

I try to produce a pen and paper from behind my back but only manage a pen at first. I try writing on my hand but can only fit "REB". That won't do, so I do another "behind the back" object creation to get a notebook. I try to write the word but end up getting sudden strings of garbage characters like "REBhjklhlhlh". I scratch it out and try again, but only get a similar string of garbage characters as soon as I get past "REB".

I can see the word perfectly in my mind so the garbage character problem starts making me feel agitated and doubtful. It's not long before
      I wake up.

Interesting little converted nightmare. Producing the .44 out of thin air seems sort of like lucid dreaming techniques bleeding over into my non-lucid dreams, which is interesting.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #27: Paranoia

I'm in a false awakening where I'm a kid living in my old room at my parents' house. I sense some terrifying presence in my room so I jump out of bed, crouching down in fear. I reach under the bed and pull out a long-barreled, Dirty Harry-style .44 Magnum and hold it in front of me, searching wildly for whatever is after me.

I suddenly have no idea what I'm doing holding this gun and I'm afraid that I'll wind up shooting myself or my parents with it. I duck into the bathroom and close the door behind me, trying to figure out what to do. I try the light switch but it doesn't work. Something reaches out in the darkness and starts wrestling with me for the gun. My fear combined with the craziness of the scene is enough to
      make me lucid.

I gently pull the .44 back toward me, no longer believing that there's any lurking presence trying to pull it away from me. I try the light switch again but it doesn't do anything. I'm trying to think of some way out of here when the scene suddenly shifts to a cluttered basement. The basement is a roughly ten-foot cube and walls are gray concrete. There are no doors or windows but benches, tables, tools, and other assorted pieces of junk litter the room.

Seeing no way out, I float up and try to phase through the ceiling but the concrete stops me cold. I shut my eyes and imagine the Great Pyramid, but nothing has changed when I open them again. Next, I try some Stephen Laberge-style spinning but I move with an odd slowness when I spin and the scene won't change.

Just then I notice a tiny surveillance camera attached to the ceiling and I feel like the presence that I sensed earlier is watching me through the camera. I float to the camera, determined to phase through it and see who (or what) is watching me. I push myself through the lens but immediately
      find myself awake in bed.
    5. White Room and a Bed and Breakfast

      Sleep Time: 1:30 a.m - 9:30 a.m

      White Room

I'm staying at some house in a white bedroom. I think my stepmom lives here (not IRL) because she brings me some very soft pajamas.

      Bed and Breakfast Lucid
H and I are driving around town. We nearly have several accidents. Finally, we end up at this building that I think is some sort of bed and breakfast. I walk up to a door with a window in it. I see a guy through the window and decide to scare him by banging on the window and screaming at the top of my lungs. He just looks confused..

We leave and then come back a little while later. I want to try and scare this guy again. I bring H with me but now instead of a window there is a mirror. I'm looking at my reflection and it just dawns on me that I'm dreaming.
As I'm looking at my reflection, my face begins to distort a little before returning back to normal. I do a couple of RCs just to be sure it's really a dream. I turn around to begin exploring and find myself upstairs at my own house. I try to think of what I want to do and can't remember any of my goals. I know I'd like to try TOTM but I can't remember what it is. So I decide I'll try to summon someone. I try to make Captain America appear but nothing works. I try just expecting him to be around a corner and that fails. I try calling out his name which also fails. The next thing I remember is standing in my computer room as the dream begins to fade to black. I reach out for my desk to stabilize and the dream comes back into focus only for me to wake up..

    6. Transcendental Turkey Shoot

      by , 11-10-2012 at 04:42 AM
This was simply the most amazing lucid dream I've ever had. The description is long, but it's as abbreviated as I could get it -- the dream itself felt like it lasted an hour and a half! Absolutely unreal.

Just the thought of having another LD like this might be enough motivation to last me forever. All I can be is grateful.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #26: Transcendental Turkey Shoot

I'm a spectator in an arena where dueling teams of wizards battle it out with fire and ice spells. I'm ranting with another spectator about how terribly they're playing. The spectator says that "it's like they have no awareness!" Hearing about "awareness" instantly makes me lucid (thanks, subconscious!) and I run out of the stands into an outer hallway that's filled with dream characters.

I want to perform the Task of the Month which requires shooting turkeys with 17th century weaponry. I imagine that I have a huge bundle of preloaded flintlock muskets strapped to my back and it isn't long before turkeys start darting around in the crowd in front of me. I reach over my right shoulder, grab a musket, and aim it at a nearby turkey. I carefully aim and fire, the musket thundering and kicking my shoulder. The shot's a clean miss, and the DC's in the scene start running and screaming.

I toss my old musket aside and grab a new one from my "bundle". I keep catching sight of turkeys up ahead and I run after them, firing and missing time after time. I chase them onto the arena floor itself, the magical combat still raging wildly around me. I skate across a field of ice that's melting beneath the heat of a raging volcano, the floor nearly collapsing beneath me. It's vivid and exciting but what really has my attention is getting one of these turkeys.

I take a side door that leads me into a golden elevator. The elevator begins rising the moment that I enter and through its ornate viewing portals I see the shore of an island. I sense that this is an island filled with turkeys and I immediately dive through the portal, plunging headfirst toward the shallow water along the shoreline. I manage to float just in time to avoid a jarring landing and immediately spot a turkey ahead in the distance.

I run for miles, grabbing musket after musket off of my back and tossing them aside each time that I miss or get a "close call" that yields nothing but a puff of feathers. I even manage to cleanly hit 2 or 3 of them, but each time that I draw close I see that they were really just large pigeons. At one point I reach a narrow valley that's painted with brilliant, cartoon-like colors. I laugh, feeling elated and invincible, like I can run here forever.

After some time I chase a turkey deep underground through an old barrow. Dream characters join me and leave at times, all strangers. Eventually I run through a weapons display area that's arranged around a giant upright sarcophagus, but all the weaponry appears to be from the Egyptian Bronze Age, not the 17th century.

In the next room I stumble upon a sad, sullen group of friends and coworkers arranged around a board room table. They're being lorded over by some obnoxious stranger named "Rod" who announces that he's taking over our company and that I should "sit down and shut up". This annoys me, and I slap him so hard that it leaves a handprint on his face. He orders me not to do that, and in response I slap him hard enough to send him sprawling out of his chair. The others around the table applaud, and I jog out of the room, spotting daylight up ahead.

I emerge onto a dirt road and lean against the guardrail for a moment, thinking about how this is the first time that I've ever attacked a DC. I reflect on how thin my justification was and wonder how this relates to dream yoga's description of playing out negative "karmic traces". Unable to really digest the concept of karma in the dream state, I walk further along the road.

At the end of the road stands a Roman arch with golden light spilling out of the arch onto the roadway. The arch is designed roughly like the Arch of Constantine:

When I approach the arch, an enormous flock of brilliantly glowing turkeys goes flying through the arch, passing right overhead! It must be hundreds of them. This kicks up a rush of wind that picks me up off of the road, lays me flat on my back, and carries me gently backward as the stream of turkeys goes flying by above me. It's beautiful and serene and I'm overcome with bliss and elation. I can't stop laughing at how incredible it all is.

The wind sets me down some distance from the arch and my friend A is standing nearby, smiling at my reaction. He asks how much longer I think this LD can last. I say that I don't know but that it feels like it's been an hour and a half. I tell him that I took some B6 and wonder whether that will change the dream's length.
Gently, I wake up, still blown away by what I just experienced.
    7. Todays dreams: Meeting dream guides and a false awakening

      by , 11-09-2012 at 07:28 PM (Exterminate)
      Meeting my dream guides!

So first off me and my family were at this house and some people came to the door. There are various girls without clothes on. They were just standing there in their underwear. There were 2-3 other guys with them. I run to my bedroom, trying to escape these people because something did not seem right. I sit there listening for about a half an hour. It turns out they are from this game show. It was all improv. Someone comes up with the topic and the rest discuss it without a script. I put some clothes on, and start to leave my hiding spot. Just before I open the door one of the girls from earlier starts talking to me from the other side. She says "You done with that tissue? *Giggle*" Implying I was masturbating. I tell her I wasn't doing anything immodest, and she laughs it off. I leave the bedroom and go back to where everyone else is. I don't want to play their stupid game, so I look around and see some small balls on the ground. They look like water balls or bouncy balls or something. I guess there was a challenge or something with them. I would put one or more in my mouth, move them around a bit, then spit them out. They would then be awkwardly shaped like a potato or something, then I would smooth them into balls. They were jelly-like, which lead me to believe they were filled with water. I noted at this time that I was a child in this dream. Some then tried taking us (Me, my brother, and someone I have never seen before) away to some place. I tried escaping but failed. At this place a girl strips me and says "His butt seems to be the only thing salvageable. The rest isn't really for show business." I start to worry about how bad of a situation I may be in. Suddenly this girl comes in, probably about 22, black. She has about 5 children, various ages. They were mostly in their teens. The woman drops these kids off, with a nervous look on her face. I start yelling "Something isn't right here, let us go!" and eventually run out of there. As I am walking...I suddenly think "Am I dreaming?"

"Hell yes!" (I never RC, I just know) So I look around, trying to find something to do. I looked at my surroundings and found myself in a desert. I couldn't see much around me except a highway. Various cars are zooming by. I focus in on a motorcycle that has two women riding it. I then run into the motorcycle as it gets near my location and as I recover I state my intention to locate my dream guide. I talk to the driver of the motorcycle and ask her name. She replies that she does not remember. I look around and notice a shelter nearby. It looked kinda like a horse stable. I also noticed that the mobile home I live in was also nearby.
The other girl has recovered now and is now standing nearby. I ask the rider of the motorcycle if she can be my Dream Guide and she replies no. I ask the other and she said that they come in a pair, if one is to be my Dream Guide then both must be. So I ask the one if she knows what a dream guide is, and she gives me a face that basically spoke "...Really? Of course I know." So we are now inside the mobile home and it looks like someone packed up. there was boxes and furniture still inside, but none of the occupants seemed to be anywhere in sight. It was a strange and saddening sight. It seems my parents just kinda...left after us children were taken. I think it interesting to note however, that the home mentioned earlier where the game show happened was at a place I don't recognize. I don't know if we lived there in this dream or if we were there for another reason.

Anyway, at this point I ask my newfound Dream Guides to teach me a new dream skill. The one Dream Guide says "Hmm...Human cloning is not an easy task, so lets start smaller." I found a pen nearby, so I offer that we can do something cool with it. The Dream Guide then grabs a pillowcase and folds it. She then opens it back up and puts a golden rod inside it. She folds the pillowcase back over the rod and starts rubbing the materials together real quickly until sparks start to appear. She says "First you must generate electricity before we can proceed to the next step." She hands me the items and I start rubbing them together like she did. Sparks start flying, and she smiles. I start looking at the sparks: White light so bright..My vision starts to blur, and I get a little sad. The dream is ending. I "Wake up."

      FA about my last dream

So I think that I woke up, feeling mixed emotions on my previous dream..I am sitting in front of my laptop, talking to my brother about my dream. On my laptop was a wiki that had everything about my previous dream. I found it amazing that I hadn't even written my dream down yet, but this wiki knew everything about the dream. I'm talking about lists, pictures, maps, everything. I was talking to my brother about the wonders of having some Dream Guides, and the sadness that the dream ended, but I am just as happy about it now as I was then.
We, as a family, went to this garage. The place seemed quite familiar from my dream, because in the dream there was this garage door inside the house. I looked around and was excited. I figured I'd visit my dream location. We go inside the garage door, but it is...just a garage. Nothing special. The dream ended shortly after.

      Lucid Sex

The title is better than my memory, but I was nearly having intercourse. I remember my decision-making better than what actually happened. I knew I could do what I wanted, and I tried to make it happen.

I may have had a false awakening, but eventually I did wake up. Sometimes I have multiple lucids, so I tried to relax when I did wake up and imagine a scenario.

I did end up in another sex dream. I can't say I was lucid, but I took control. I was eating someone out and enjoying it, but then I wanted to fuck her. She asked me to keep eating her because I could always do her later. I told her I wanted to do her because I could always eat her later.

I got up and put it up to her. I could see her. I can't always see things in my dreams, so it was nice to see it. I put it in a couple inches. I tried to put it in more, but I woke up.

I seem to be having more lucids lately, but I seem to wake myself up because I'm afraid I'll wake up. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. I vow to improve.

    9. LD: DV Tasks

      by , 11-09-2012 at 05:02 PM
      Lucid Dream:

I was at a church activity. Everyone around me was eating chocolate cake. But I couldn't eat it because I am back to eating a raw vegan diet. I kept looking at it. It looked so good. The person next to me took a bite. I could almost taste it. I finally said, "What I miss most about chocolate cake is the salty taste." As I said that, I could almost feel the cake in my mouth and I noticed how the salty taste really brought out the chocolate flavor. (In retrospect, I really don't know why I was focusing on the salty flavor. I have never associated chocolate cake with salt.)

I noticed my mom was there, and she was making a sort of an apron from a blue patterned material. I also saw a lady putting up a game in a basket ball hoop. I couldn't tell what it was, but it looked interesting.

And then it all faded. I felt disappointed that this dream had come to an end before I had been able to enjoy the activity.

Then I concentrated and willed it all back.

      There.

It was all back. Now I could participate.

Wait. If this was a dream, it meant that I was....lucid! Who cared about that activity--I was LUCID!

I jumped up in the air and did a very slow motion flip. I watched as the room slowly spun around me. Then I landed.

I then remembered that I really wanted to do one of the tasks. I decided to start with the one I could do the fastest--Spell "November" backwards.

I knew I had to spell it and also write it. I didn't have any paper so I decided to just make the letters appear in the air.

So I said, "R....E....M...no, no....R....E...B." I saw the letters appear in the air before me. They were blue and a little wispy and glowed slightly. I continued, "M....E....wait--is that right? Yeah, that's right." I repeated again what I had spelled out: "R...E....B...M....E" And then I ended with a fast, "V..O..N!!"

There it was all floating in the air in front of me: R E B M E V O N

"Yes!!" I shouted. I heard it echo through the gym that I was in. I was pleased that I was able to do it without much trouble.

I then decided that I needed to try another Task. The one that I thought would be interesting was the "go to Purgatory and save a soul" task. I started flying. I was in a school. I flew til I saw a vent. I stopped and decided to open the vent and fly downward. I figured all I needed was a start in the downward direction and my mind would do the rest. So I took off the vent cover. But I saw a hot blue flame inside. It made me nervous. I didn't want to fly into it. I decided I would go outside and dig a hole instead.

I flew out the doors. The scene before me was beautiful. I could see the lake. The sun was going down and shone through slits in the clouds. The sky was red. I stopped and hovered for a moment and took in the beauty. But then I notced that the wind was blowing me away from the lake. I decided to land.

I landed on a steep grassy hill. I did the first thing that came to mind--I somersaulted all the way down. Finally I decided to start "digging". I focused on the ground with my mind. I could feel myself start to sink. It wasn't too fast--maybe a foot a second, but I felt glad that I would not have to dig with a shovel. Soon I was underground. I had created a very small space for my body, enough the the surrounding rock and dirt wasn't touching me, but not enough that I had any space to really move around. I kept going down. I started to feel claustraphobic. I wasn't seeing any people or any sign of Purgatory. So I came back up and decided to try somewhere else.

I did the same thing again with the same results, except this time as I went down I heard the some sandstone slabs above me cave in. It spooked me. So I came up again.

I saw a group of people. In the group I saw a guy I recognozed. This guy was my nenesis. He was in all my lucid dreams. (In retrospect...not true). I smiled. I flew to him and grabbed his shoulders to get his attention...then gave him a quick kiss on his forehead. I then laughed and flew off. I flew around the corner of a building...and there he was. This time he was laughing at me. Dang.

So I did the first thing that came to mind. I took off my shirt.

(And I am going to skip a little here.)

      I then ran off.

I saw this creepy Jamaincan guy. He was standing by the edge of the ocean and watching me. I was buttoning up by blouse, but had only gotten the bottom two buttons. My breasts were still partly exposed. The creepy guy grabbed his crotch and told me that watching me made him hard. I gave him a little smirk and walked towards him. When I was about 10 feet away. I spread my arms out (which also spread my blouse open exposing myself again. And then I slowly floated up into the sky.

      Then I woke up.

    10. The Jungle, The Great Move, The Zookeeper, MY DREAM GUIDE

      by , 11-08-2012 at 10:26 PM
      .
      .
Before I start this entry, this was the most amazing and moving dream I have ever had.. in my entire life.

The Night of November 7th, 2012.

      Some Preknowledge:

Last night, I went to bed telling myself I would remember my dreams, and I would attempt to WILD 4 hours after going to sleep. I went to bed at around 2:30AM and WBTB around 7:15AM. My roommate then woke me up around 9-10AM when he had to go to class. I went back to sleep and woke up at around 12PM. So I got a lot more sleep than I usually do.

I think this experience helped me identify my dream guide.

      The Dream!

The first part was kind of vague. I was in a jungle with this girl I have been off and on with. There were other people there, I don't remember who. We were at some kind of outpost (like a camp,) and people kept coming and trying to kill us. Being my violent self, I didn't have many problems dismembering the people that approached us. They ended up killing everyone but me.

After long fights that lasted days (this was weird,) I noticed a sugar glider at my feet who seemed very happy to see me. I don't know what it was, but I could tell this was not an ordinary animal. For those who don't know what a sugar glider is, it is a very VERY cute version of a flying squirrel and they live in forests/jungles. It beckoned me to follow.

I followed it over the dead bodies, and it showed me the main camp. The main camp was filled with many types of animals, some that could communicate. There were also humans there. The sugar glider then brought me to the top of a mountain. You could see EVERYTHING. There was a convoy a couple miles away. They were poachers/zookeepers trying to capture animals. There were also police there with them, because the humans in the camp were supporting the animals and resisting capture as well.

I followed the Sugar Glider for a very long time. It showed me many areas, and introduced me to many people and animals. I knew my purpose now. I helped defend and support the camp for years. (Weird again. My dream lasted years, and along this time, I bonded with two other defenders; named Rick and Alison. My awareness of the dream got greater and greater as time went along.) I also bonded a lot with the sugar glider, whom I later named Bud. He was with me at all times. Either showing me knew things, or sitting on my shoulder as we fought for freedom.) After years of fighting, the camp eventually was getting taken over. All the animals decided to pack up and move.

Many of the defenders were taken into custody, but Rick, Alison, and I escaped with the animals. The only way this fighting was going to end was if the humans and animals split up. Bud knew this, and so did Rick and Alison. I did not want to leave Buds side. I embraced him and started crying, and he clung onto me. He didn't look sad. He was so emotionless while I was kneeling there in sadness. He knew this was the only way it would work out.

The defenders went one direction, and the animals went the other. I kept looking back, through the branches, making sure the animals were going to be okay.

After a long travel through the brush a couple days later, we started walking along a very low path on the outside of a mountain. I looked up the mountain and saw the animals traveling along a higher path. I was confused as to why they were walking the same direction as us, so I lept up the mountain to where they were traveling. I met with one of the mammoths I had become good friends with and talked to him. He said they had been ambushed awhile back. He said that Bud had been taken into custody by the zoo leader himself. Bud was the only one who had been taken.

The animals and defenders decided it was a better idea to stick together, and I lead the group as close to the city as we could get. We set up camp, and Rick, Alison and I went into the city to search for the zoo's business branch.

This is when my alarm went off to WBTB with WILD. It was surprisingly fast, and went a lot more smoothly than ever. The dream resumed where it left off.

When we got to the business branch, we waited in the parking lot for a bit. Soon a Cadillac Escalade showed up. A bunch of men in suits got out, and one opened the door for a very important looking man. I told Rick and Alison to stay back and to let me handle it myself.

The important man turned out to be the leader. I talked to him for awhile about what was going on, and he recognized me after some conversation. A year ago, I guess I killed his brother in a battle. I had a flashback and I remembered a long fight with a man who looked similar to the leader. I saw bud climb out of the car and he perched on the top of it to observe us.

The leader was enraged, and he ordered his men to open fire. I made a green bubble-like shield around myself, and the bullets deflected everywhere. I teleported behind one of the guards and snapped his neck. I teleported behind another, kicked in the back of his knees, and used his momentum to throw him into the ground. The others ran off.

The leader screamed, and took out his gun. I deflected a majority of his shots, but one ended up skimming my left shoulder. Pain surged through my entire arm. I have never been shot in a dream before, the pain was indescribable. I fell to my knees for a second, and the man laughed. Bud was still watching from the top of the Escallade. The main walked over to me with his gun pointed at my head and said something along the lines of "It's amazing how someone so powerful can be put down with such a simple wound." He continued laughing. I knelt there in silence for a couple seconds.

I shot up from where I was kneeling, and my head went straight into his jaw. He fell onto his back, and I jumped on top of him and started beating his face in. I said "It's amazing how someone so powerful as yourself can be so simple minded and quick to judge." I got up as he was laying in a pool of his own blood. He was coughing up blood and was on the verge of dying. Alison and Rick ran over to me to make sure I was okay. Bud jumped from his perch to my shoulder. I gave him a pet, and suddenly, the pain in my arm was gone. The wound disappeared. There was a look of acceptance on his face, and something told me this was the beginning of something amazing.

This is when my roommate woke me up on accident.

Analysis! And why I think Bud is my possible dream guide.

In the beginning of my dream, when the girl died, I don't think I cared that much because I knew it was a dream. I don't know if anyone else has had this happen to them, but I was in this dream for a couple years (of dream time.) When I saw Bud for the first time in the dream, a voice in my head told me that I should do everything he tells me to do. I'm not sure if it was his voice, or my personal self. I followed him from start to finish, and by doing so, I helped the dream characters I met (defenders and animals) meet their goals.

Ultimately, I think Bud got taken on purpose. Why did none of the other animals get captured? I think Bud created a test dream/environment for me, to see if I was ready for him to guide me. Sure, in the beginning, he was very controlling, but in the end, he put his trust in me to save him. Even though I'm sure he didn't need saving. He also believed I would be able to do it myself. Normally, I feel lonely in dreams, as if I'm the only one there who knows its a dream. This was different though. I felt Buds presence, as if he wasn't a dream character. It was very interesting, just the feeling of no longer being the only aware creature in my dreams. I actually felt an emotional attachment to him, like a mentor, or a friend, something I've never felt before in a lucid dream.

I think its safe to say, Bud is my dream guide.
    11. Nth short lucid

I don't remember anything before I became lucid. I just remember performing my nose plug twice, and then losing vision after the second nose plug. I started spinning with my arms stretched out, but then became immensely dizzy and blinked once or twice, then woke up.

    12. Rebmevon! and Hell! Twice!

      by , 11-08-2012 at 06:12 PM (Ophelia's Book O' Fun II)
I just had an interesting time! I managed (with massive effort) one advanced task and 2 failed attemptes at the other advanced one. Usual went to bed around midnight and a 6:45am-7something WBTB. No vibrations, and went into a nonlucid, although I did incubate a dream.

I did what I've been doing alot which is I'll be standing soemwhere, and it suddenly dawns on me that only moments earlier I was laying my head down to sleep. So this time I was standing in the middle of my livingroom floor when it hit me. Yeah! I started to go out the front door to do something, then I remembered the tasks (finally!). I wanted to try rebmevon, so I went into the kitchen and found a pencil and paper. I wish I could count how many times I tried to do this, may have been around 10 tries. But I'd try to write it, but the lead wouldn't stick to the paper, so I just made a "rebmevon" indentation. (Btw I hope it isn't cheating that I forced myself in waking life to remember rebmevon, all the letters in order.) Anyway, with tons of concentration and lots of sribbly failures, I finally managed to brute force rebmevon on paper.

Since I was still lucid, I decided to go for the advanced task of bringing back a soul from purgatory. I though to go through a wall first, that maybe the scen chaange would take me to purgatory. I got my head through the livingroom wall, but it spat me back out before I could see anything. So then I thought I'd try the floor, since purgatory is on the way to hell anyway, right? I went to the bedroom and picked a spot on the floor by the bed. I stuck my head through the floor, then BOOM a giant cylindar of floor and earth broke away, revealing a tunnel that went all the way to an orange firey depth. Major "woah!" moment. But, I geuss I went too far? I dunno, I still tried. Too creeped out to actually go in that tunnel, I just stuck my head in and said "Hello?" it echoed. Then I heard a deep demonic voice say "Kevvvvvviinnnnnnnnnnnnnn." I said "Who is Kevvvvinnnnnnn?" Then the devil himself, with the hugest horns I ever saw (like Tim Curry in Legend) appeared at the bottom of the hole. Before I could escape, he did a mega jump and was up in my FACE and then I woke up lol.

I went right back into the dream lucid, in my livingroom floor again. I saw a random DC who said he was going to go do something, and i said ok, I gotta go to the bedroom and find hell again, you ok with that? He said yes. So I went to the bedroom and went to the same spot. Did the same thing and got a big hole to hell again. This time it was bigger, and I could see levels on the way to hell. I thought I could jump to one of the levels and not actually fall into the hell fire. But I didn't want you know who to appear again. So this time I said into the hole "Ok, I'm sorry if I did this wrong that last time, I just wanted to know if I could bring back a soul from purgatory for a little while, then I'll return him like after 5 minutes?" I could hear sounds, like people moving and murmering, but I couldn't see anyone, and no one answered me. I feel like they couldn't even hear me. I repeated myself, and even made a suggestion: "Could I borrow Mozart for 5 minutes??!!" Still no answer. I ended up going nonlucid and remember even going into the whole I think, and I ended up in an old folk's home (purgatory?). Someone was about to fetch Mozart for me, but it was a babydoll. I remarked "He's awful young looking, don'tcha think?" Then I woke up.

Satan, like this but not red and definitely not smiling:

    13. Epic fails (this journal maybe encouraging)

by , 11-08-2012 at 12:29 PM (Dream Journal)
When i heard about Lucid dreams several months ago I immediately had 2 very clear and simi controllable dreams then for a while nothing had changed.. When i realized they were rare even though i was hunting for them.... i began to think maybe its just one of those things i can't enjoy. Until about week ago (well a few days it was the Saturday that just past) and it was amazingly clear and vivid and I believe i may have done an OBE too. Now i thought i should go back to Dream Views after all I owe it to them and myself to share the experience but i didn't want to relive the the lucidity Drought like the first.
This very morning i had a Lucid So clear and Vivid and controllable that it made waking reality pale and the sensations and imagery was so clear (except my reflection)
that i knew i was getting better at lucid dreaming.
So now I'm going all in!!

    14. A quickie - quick LD

      by , 11-08-2012 at 08:29 AM
So, I was in this store. Maybe a video store. I was looking at my hands and realized they were somehow unproportionally sized and were changing in number. At that point I knew I was Lucid. So I tried not freaking out and succeeded. Then - this is really disgusting, because I'm straight - I went to the backroom with the beardy shopkeeper, and f*cked him facially. I knew it was wrong and I just said to myself. Don't mind you just need to get off your sexual steem. After that I went flying outside.
I feel really gay now. I think I got too excited while flying, that's why I woke up.

      Weird.

    15. Second lucid dream. First real success!!

      by , 11-08-2012 at 08:00 AM
SUCCESS!!! My first solid lucid dream.

I dont remember the beginning of the dream, i only remember the moment right before i got lucid. I was inside a room with my dad and cousins and maybe a few more people. Everyone was busy doing a particular taks, except for my dad, and for some reason, i was thinking of the tv show 'the fall guy'. I was thinking of the american title of the show and tried to remember what the german title of the show was. Suddenly i hear my dad hummung the theme song, and i thought: holy shit! This is the first time in like 20 years i notice anyone beside me recalling that old show and its right when I'm thinking about it. What a coincidence! Then, my cousins started singing along with the tune and they all knew the lyrics!! By heart!!! I thought: no freaking way! This must be a dream. Within a second, i was so convinced, I didnt even have to do a reality check. I just thought "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming" and rubbed my hands, but the dream was so solid, there was not even any need for that.

I just left the room and went on to see what i could do with my lucidity. I walked out of the building and found myself on the plaza in front of an urban mausoleum or so in a city the felt like san francisco but wasnt. There was a four lane street with lots of traffic in front of the plaza and i had no problems flying over. I knew that I had flown in dreams before and that all I had to do was t9 jump and straighten out my arms on the side like an irish tap dancer, to start floating.

I looked around. It was a beautiful day. I obbserved the traffic to see how realistic everything was. It was remarkable. I looked at the lighting and reflections of the cars as if i was scrutinizing game graphics and noticed my dads car, a 93 Suzuki sidekick, pulling a bug trailer of sorts. I hovered across the street and focused on some flowers that were growing there. I looked at the buds and the petals and the detail in the sunlight was really all there (although i noticed a thin hair coming off of the side of one petal and wondered if it was maybe a fake flower).

Next i though what am I gonna do now that I'm lucid? Immediately i decided to go somewhere where there are a lot of girls. Sooo i decided to go and find a university or sports arena. But I didnt know my way around the city. I thought maybe i could ask someone. Then i thought i could maybe summon my android phone. That would have the maps app. 'SUMMONING, right.' I thought. That was another exercise i could do. So i concentrated on my left hand but nothing happened right away. I almost gave up and then thought 'man! Give it a real chance!' So i tried again and balled all my mental energy up in the palm of my cupped hand. I saw a little spark in it. So i concentrated some more. The spark became bigger and turned into a calculator. It looked a lot like the replicator process on the enterprise. I thought yay, success. But i knew that a calculator wasnt really of all that much use to me right now, so I threw it away and started walking with a group of people who I thought would probably walk into the right direction. We walked around a pedestrian bridge which looked a little like a aqueduct, white, curved and with nice arches we walked through. Then i thought "here is a great example of someone who cant think of something creative and amazing to do with their lucid dream. By the time I get to that university, i'll have run out of lucidity long time.".

So I decided to change my environment a little. I used telekinesis to shrink the archways we were walking through. It was weird; I didnt really see them shrinking but when i tried to walk through the next one, i got stuck. Suddenly, i was lying on my back trying to squeeze myself through. Once on the other side, i expanded them again. And yet again, while I didnt see any change in side, suddenly I could walk through again without problem. It was like an illusion of perspective.

Theeeen my wife's alarm went off.... oh well
