Lucid Dreams
11/30/2011 I was hanging out with John and A. We left our backpacks on the ground by the car, and we left the girl/princess in the car. We climb up this stair thing. At the top we're joking and talking. Then we realize someone might steal our stuff. We rush back down. Our backpacks are still there, with most of our stuff still in them (mine had stuff in different places than I left it), but the princess is gone. We are worried that she will be raped. I try to make a potion to find the princess. I mix nerds (the candy), chocolate, and maybe something else in water. I got the chocolate from A, because I only have a whopper, which hasn't got a lot of chocolate in it. A gave me two mint-covered chocolate balls. I put one of each in the mix and stir, waiting for it to dissolve. It's taking its time. I split one of the chocolate candies in half so it'll melt faster. I don't think it's working quite right. I show it to the potions master and ask him about it. He says the chocolate I used wasn't pure enough. He helps me get something working. I'm at the place the princess was taken. I pretend to be her... owner? to get into where she is. I know the real 'owner' will come along soon, though. I tell the princess to make me a sandwich. I put mustard on it myself. When the real guy comes along, I'm prepared. He's dressed in red, and his hair and beard are dark. We exchange a few words, then I throw the sandwich at him. It explodes, due the explosive runes I wrote on it with the mustard. I know I'm dreaming, so I can use interesting powers. I turn into a dragon (sort of) and bite his head off. I'm back to my normal self. For some reason, I'm sticking to the wall in a corner, sort of spider-man style and closer to the ceiling than the floor. I think I tried to turn myself into the wall, to hide, when I was scared of that guy, but I ended up sticking to the wall instead. Some guys (three of them) walk through a door, into this room. I think they are dungeons & dragons nerds. There are polyhedral dice on the floor. I use telekinesis to make the dice come to my hand, one at a time, throwing them at the skinny blond guy as I get them. One time, instead of using telekinesis, I moved my hand into a position so that it looked like I was holding the far away die because of an optical illusion, and then willed the die to be close rather than far. I tell the blond guy that I am dreaming. I tell him that he is dreaming, too, but that's about when I wake up, so I don't get to see how he reacts.
11/28/2011 I'm at a university, attending a lecture. My parents come. I visit home. I'm packing, almost ready to leave, but my hair is messy. It's 5 pm. We have to leave now, no time for anything else. I throw on a hat. I'm at a university lecture. Someone (the lecturer?) is wanted. He's an old friend of the family. This makes things awkward. I realize I'm dreaming, but it's only a few seconds before I wake up. I don't RC, though, so who knows if I actually woke up.
11/27/2011 I decided to make a WILD attempt after waking up. I kept drifting in and out of sleep paralysis and wakefulness. It was very frustrating. I used the nose plug RC as well as looking at surroundings. The one time the RC indicated dreaming, it didn't last long, and I couldn't do much of anything. I saw a woman's head and almost found a hat. By the time I finally fell asleep for more than a minute or two, I'd lost awareness. I'm at Taco Bell. The employee is giving me crap about having spilled ketchup all over the table last time I was there. He tells me to do some cleaning now. I grudgingly comply. I'm very frustrated when I drop half my burrito. He's going to yell at me if I don't clean it up. I'm with a group of people, mostly females, as well as a guy I went to school with and was sometimes friends with named Kenny. For some reason, I have a date with Kenny, and I have to wear a dress. Ewww on both counts. We're all riding in a van to the place where I'll have the date. I'm wearing the stupid dress. The seating is weird. The girls have some sort or experiment of project they're working on. We arrive. I'm supposed to dance? Grr... Now we're all in a video game, fighting people with guns. I lead the retreat to a more defensible position. It's one of those old 2D sidescroller type games, and I can actually dodge the bullets/laser beams.

At first I was dreaming about something else before I became lucid. It was something about being a soldier like in call of duty. But then I had a false awakening. I 'woke' up in my room. It was nighttime. I sorta remembered the previous events of the last dream within the dream. When I 'woke up' I did not get out of bed immediately. I opened my eyes and I saw my alarm clock and dresser was on the other side of my room. The alarm clock was on top of my dresser. Of course since it was so dark I only saw a shadow of the dresser but still. At first I thought somebody moved my alarm clock but then I realized I was dreaming "wait this isn't right my alarm clock was next to my bed!" That was when I became lucid. I did the nose plug RC and sure enough it confirmed my suspicions. My dream body felt a little vibrations for a moment but then it stopped. It felt weird to breath through my nose even when it was closed. I opened my door into the hallway. My cousins were waiting right outside my door. (I am also living with my 3 cousins atm as well and the house was an almost perfect replica of my real life one). Cousin 1 was 8 yrs old cousin 2 was 5 and cousin 3 was 29.(Don't want to put their names on the internet so just remember them as cousin 1,2 ,3). We went downstairs. As we went downstairs I asked cousin 1 if she would take me to my subconsciousness. She says "No" I persisted no further. We are downstairs now and cousin 3 opens the front door for some reason. I then decide to try and summon one of my real life friends. I go outside the front door. I yell my friends name and turn around. He wasn't behind me so I gave up on that. I then went back inside and I see a strange DC I have never met before. (Since the first 3 characters in my dreams I know from real life I thought this was very strange). This mysterious dream character was sitting on the couch. Cousin 1 was also sitting on the couch. I asked the strange DC who she was. She did not say a word. I then ignore her. Cousin 1 was playing on her Nintendo ds. Heres the thing though. Her DS in real life is pink however in the dream it was black. I realized this and pointed it out. She says "Thank you" in such a exasperated voice. As if she wanted that color in the first place. The mysterious DC looked like she was in her mid 30s. She had long curly blond hair. I then decide to ask something like "Has anyone thought about your future" I don't remember exactly what they said. I then said "You guys are parts of my imagination" they didn't take me seriously and they laughed it off. After I told cousin 1 about how her ds is supposed to be pink I seemed to have convinced her that she really was a DC. She started to worry what would happen if I "leave" I then started to explain to her about what would happen. I don't remember what I said but as I was explaining this to her I suddenly found myself in waking life back in my normal bed.
I was lucid upon entering this dream. I was floating--clarity was low. I thought I would have trouble going above a certain height as I always do, so I tried to just float up and not think about it too much. I was floating up into a starry sky. I floated up for a little bit, but then I remembered a response to someones comment regarding semi-lucidity. I had advised him/her that I thought he would have success in going through a wall or ceiling while lucid, and that he should try it. I immediately put my face through a wall in my dream. Half my face went through a wall and I saw a guy with long, braided hair with a gun. He was holding up a guy at a convenience store. In my dream he was a terrorist. I was then in an old condo where I used to live with my mother. I now wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not. Instead of doing a reality check because I never think to do one, I slowly tried to put my head through a wall. I didn't want to do it fast in case I was awake, lest it hurt. The funny thing is, I wasn't successful in putting my head through the wall. Then I thought it was weird because I did believe I was dreaming. I was very tired, and I believe the best lucids come when you go to sleep on time. That is true for me in any case. ~ I was with a friend B.L. We were on a train track. He was basically lying down face first, but not relaxing. He had a rock in his hand, and the rock was on one of the rails. It powered him like a train. He slid along the rail holding onto the rock. I was holding on to him, but I was falling off. I tried to get him to go some way different as I was about to fall off, but he wouldn't. I got upset and pushed myself off this non-existent train car. He then threw the rock at me in disgust and walked away. I took the rock and threw it right behind him so it would bounce and hit him, which it did, sticking to his butt. My friend got mad. I explained I only threw it so it would barely hit him and let him know he didn't have to throw the rock at me. Then I saw some railroad workers. I didn't really want them to see me. I also saw some trains go by. The first locomotive was normal, then I saw some plastic ones. They had advertising on them like a car wrap. I was annoyed at how "they" are making everything so cheap today including locomotives.
I am not entirely sure if I became lucid in this dream. But even if it wasn't, I feel like this was a huge step forward because I can identify something that caused me to suspect I was dreaming. The first time I had a lucid dream, I could not identify the trigger. After becoming lucid (or not) the dream did not feel that real, it felt like I was laying down daydreaming with my eyes closed, rather than in a full blown REM period. looking back to it, I think this may just be a regular dream where I dreamed about being lucid. It was nothing like the first time I became lucid. I was in Tony's garage and I needed to move my car out. There was another car parked directly behind me (his mom's?), but there was just barely enough room for me to carefully reverse out. As I began to reverse, my feet felt extremely heavy and I could not control the braking and the gas, so the car just slowly reversed without my control. I should have already hit the car behind me, but my car just continued to slowly reverse. At this point I realized I was dreaming. I became extremely excited and my heart was pounding, but still remembered to do a reality check. Still I had very little control of my body, and the reality checks I did was extremely vague. I plugged my nose and tried to breathe, but I don't actually remember what the result was. Also, this dream did not seem to change in vividness after becoming lucid. It ended rather quickly after this without me being able to do anything else.

I was at Jack's house. Steve had a bottle of sleeping medicine. I read the label and it said for him to take it in the morning when he woke up. I told him that Chelse had the same sleeping medicine and that you're suppose to take it at night before bed. He told me that after he took it in the morning, he wouldn't be able to get himself out of bed until 4 p.m. I explained to him that it was supposed to be taken at bedtime. He rationalized it and agreed with me. I walked outside onto the porch facing Jeff's house. I saw him standing in the driveway talking to Pat and Sarah who were in the driveway with a black SUV. The back drivers door was open and he was leaned inside the SUV talking to them. Penny (his mother) was standing at the entrance of the open garage watching them. I yelled his name, he didn't hear me. So I yelled louder and I saw him glance over at me for a second but he continued talking to Pat and Sarah. Jeff always did this. He wouldn't divert his attention away from what he was doing when you tried to get his attention sometimes. It was very real. I called his name a third time even louder. At that point his mom yelled at him and said "Joey's hollering at you!" Jeff looked at me slightly irritated and said "what's up dude?" I once again (I dream about him 3 times a week) walked up to him in disbelief. I said "Jeff you're ok!" I put my hand on the side of his head and he flinched saying "Ahh! Careful dude!" because his head was hurt. It made sense to me (he died from blunt trauma to the head). I said "Jeff do you know what happened to you" He looked around cautiously and saw his mom, he gave me a look as to not disclose what happened to him. I said "Jeff, you died..." His mom had a look of realization on her face suddenly. She looked at me and I knew that she was also having the same dream. I realized she was lucid dreaming with me, but she was not able to handle remembering the reality of Jeff's death. She started crying and ran off. Jeff looked at me irritably. I kept grabbing him and hugging him. I told him that I was dreaming and that he was dreaming too. I told him that he was dead and he nodded his head agreeing with me that he knew he was dead too. He said "I know I'm dead, I've just been visiting you in your dreams to make you feel better." I told him that everyone missed him so much. We started walking up Sheley road towards Marty and Kelsey's house. I told him how torn up Trevor, Kelsey and his own family were. He knew they were sad. I told him that he should look at his Facebook page at all the stuff that people had been posting. He asked me about it. I told him that he had several months of people writing on his wall saying nice things about him and how much they missed him. He said "I know you've been writing a lot about me, I have seen it. I know you were really my friend because of everything that you have done for my family and friends." I said "Of course your my friend dude, you're one of my best friends. You, Jack, Ben and Shawn are my best friends." He nodded in agreement. We turned right onto Harris street. I told him about how Ben moved to Hawaii and that he was happy and successful with Cara, his wife. I told him about Jack and his departure to basic training and how he had also got married. I started to cough. My mouth was salivating and I was coughing up a lot mucus. It started to consume my mouth. I tried to spit it out of my mouth but it stuck to my lips like a insoluble slime stuck to my mouth. I was trying to grab it with my hand and it was getting all over my hands. Jeff laughed out loud at my struggle to get the mucus out of my mouth and off my hands. He offered me gum. He pulled out four pieces of green spearmint gum that were not covered with the metal foil. They were slightly deformed from being in his pocket. I held out my left hand and he dropped two pieces that were stuck together into my hand. I started chewing. He extended his hand towards my right hand and was going to drop the other two pieces into my right hand. I held out my hand and received the gum. I gained my composure again and told him that we should get on Facebook so he could see how many notifications he had from people writing on his wall about his death. At that point we were back in the town I live in currently, up in my apartment in my office. He sat at the computer. RT was up on the screen and he started watching. I told him to check Facebook. He couldn't get out of RT so I helped him. He came to the Facebook main page and typed in his username (I don't remember what it was exactly) then he typed in his password and I saw exactly what he typed P******* R****. I took a mental note of his password so I could log into his Facebook page. For some reason he was not able to get logged in because he account had become dormant from his absence. He was going through the verification steps to get his account back to normal when several pop ups from various sites came up asking for log in information. He was putting his info into these websites. I realized that it was going to cause a problem for me to log back into those sites. A security certificate verification popped up asking to verify the page. He kept clicking on yes before I had a chance to read anything. I was getting anxious because I wasn't sure what was going on. My blackboard student website was getting messed with, and unnecessary messages were being sent to my professors. I saw a strange government warning pop-up in the window. I asked Jeff if he would let me sit down and fix the problem. Chelse started yelling from the bathroom. She had just woken up from her nap because she worked the night before. I told Jeff to go show himself to Chelse. They met in the hallway as Chelse was walking out of the bathroom. She said "Jeff! What are you doing here?" Jeff said "I'm here to visit you guys." Chelse said "But you're dead..." Then I woke up..

DJ Log: November 29, 2011 – 6:45AM (USA Eastern) · NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID · I am standing in a room with some people when I look at the clock and see that it is 9:00. I remember that there is something I have to do, but I can't really remember what it is. While thinking, I look on the table beside me and see an old wooden cigar box with a metal panel that looks like it is floating just slightly off the surface of the wood. Thinking that this looks a bit odd, I kneel down and look at it closer. Indeed, the metal plate is hovering just slightly above the box. I look back at the clock and it has no numbers on it and only one hand. I become lucid, then look at the floor and try to stabilize, as I nearly faded out instantly. I look over at the table and I can still see the cigar box, but it's fading fast. I try to lift my arms to rub my hands together and look at them, but I wake up.
Sleep Time: 1:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding reception. We are all toasting each other and sampling these tiny little cakes. I remember they tasted really, really good! Suddenly I realize that I don't know any of these people and so I must be dreaming. I don't do a reality check because I just know that this is a dream. The first thing I want to do is stabilize the dream so I yell "CLARITY NOW". Instantly everything becomes so clear and bright. I can feel myself starting to lose myself in the dream so I decide to do a reality check afterall. I first try to push my index finger through my palm but this fails so I plug my nose and find that I can still breathe through it. Now I decide that I want to try flying. I go up a flight of stairs inside this house. The house looks similar to my own but it's different somehow. When I get to the second floor, I enter a room and see a glassless window. I decide to jump out of this window in order to try to fly. As I begin to jump, I feel like it's not going to work. Sure enough, I crash into the ground..This is where I lose lucidity.
Greetings LD'ers I am soo happy to have found this community, thank you! (Apologies this is long but I try to keep as much detail as possible for my newfound addiction!) The other night I had several LD's in succession the most interesting was a dream where I was VERY lucid but chose not to summon or try to transport but to follow the lead of 2 people I met at the beginning of this LD (as far as I can remember- the beginning. LD: I was outside of an older office building with no markings on it when I ran into two DC's that seemed lucid and we began talking about increasing lucidity and RC's (I am brand new to all of this and have only read a little on here) I proceeded to follow them, at their behest into the LD office where LD assignments were given out and explained, one of the DC's (female) was guiding myself and another DC (Male) down a long concrete hallway withstucco on a small retaining wall on one side, I was dragging my hand along the stucco as a RC and saying "increase lucidity!" when the other guy asked me if that is how to stay lucid- I explained it to him so we were both doing this as we walked. We went past a HUGE bunch of filing cabinets to a set of cubicles where the 3 of us sat down and spoke with a woman who laid out LD assignments to us as a team, she was an impressive Hispanic woman who seemed to be like a case worker of sorts for this very secretive type of business (seemed like it was goverment backed based on the outdated office set-up and paint. The mission was for us to intercept 2 "spirits" that were causing trouble in the LD world and for some reason destroying crops in the real world. It became very strange as I was very lucid but not able to control these spirits or summon anything to aid in this assignment- shortly after this it blurred and blackedout and was gone, but this office with the social worker type of person assembling teams and handing out LD missions was fascinating! I hope this can somehow be included in the dream castle because the covert location and a couple of restroom doors that went NOWHERE reminded me of the castle and it's unique qualities. Thanks folks!
Dream 1 I was in a field and Derren Brown was with me. I was lying down. He was preforming this thing on me which gave me lucid dreams. I accepted this and believed it would happen. Firstly I had to lie down in a certain place and above where I would lay was a name tag. On the name tag it had a subject. A subject Derren Brown talked about. The only one I remember was a nametag called 'Tinie Tempah.' Anyway I was lying down. Derren Brown was perched over me. He was telling me a story. He didn't go into much detail and I was falling asleep. Then he went "no no no, wake up!" I did. He told the story again in more detail. I almost dropped off the he woke me up. He repeated this process possibly 2 more times till I was asleep. It worked I was in another world. It was a lucid dream. I was standing in my bedroom on my bed. I walked over to my window. I opened my bigger window. I stood on it and jumped. I was flying. I was kind of swimming in the air. It was exhilerating. It was night time and there are flats by my house. I flew up to them, slowed down and knocked the windows. I knocked 3 in total. I tried to fly, it was difficult to accelerate from being stationary. But I flew in the air and watched everybody come to the windows and look about to see who it was. They couldn't see anybody. I laughed and thought 'Stupid DC's.' I flew off. The next thing I know I am standing on top of a building I want to jump. So I jumped. There was a good feeling in my belly as I fell towards the floor. Then at the last second I took off and flew. I remember flying over tennis courts buildings. All I really did was fly I just got lost in time. Then I woke up. But I didn't wake up to reality. I woke up to Derren Brown. He told me to move on to the next subject. We did. He done the process once again. Then, I was in a lucid dream. I was flying above the earth. I could see all of the earth from above and I could see space surrounding the earth. I swooped down randomly and went to anywhere in the earth. I ended up in Amsterdam. The only reason I know it was Amsterdam because somebody mentioned the red light district. I walked into a shop then the dream faded and I woke up. I didn't wake up to Derren Brown. I think I continued to sleep. Dream 2 I was walking down my street to school. I told my friends it was a dream. So Brodie tried to climb up somebodies house on my road. But he couldn't so he started kicking their living room window. They spotted him and we ran to Alexs. While we were at Alexs they came down it was a women and a man. They were very nice. They wanted to know why he did it. He said he thought it was a dream until he checked and realised. They believed this as she sais it had happened to her before. She told us a story that I can't remember.
Hotel Lucidfornia Recall: 7/10 Sleep: Good Sleep Position: Unknown I'm at some sort of festival/party where everyone is lucid, but we are still in the real world. As we walk to check into our hotel, I see subtle pyramid structures build into the buildings, and wonder if they were intentional. We check into our room, which I'm sharing with Andre and his son. They go over to the wall, put the tips of their fingers against it and try to push it through. "If this is a dream, we should be able to push our fingers through the wall". I join them in trying to push my fingers through the wall. Not working for me, and before I can consider how to shift my attention to pull this off, Andre yells "I'm doing it". I look over and his hand is halfway through the wall. As I look closer, the wall rearranges it's self so his fingertips are no longer in the wall. I say "This is how you put your fingers through the wall!", and begin to punch through the drywall. I lead with a couple of soft jabs to make sure I don't hit a 2x4, the unleash a series of left right punches until I have the whole section of the wall caved in. When I turn around, I see our butler sitting there in a lawn chair. He says "Shall I put my dick in the wall sir?". I laugh and say "Whoa Geeves! At least wait until the party is rocking and we're getting our freak on!". "Very well sir" he replies. Andre and his son leave the room and a zombie wanders in the open door. I lead it back out the door, then slam the door shut. THe zombie pounds on the door, and I notice there is a foot and a half gap on the bottom where there is no door. I drop down and punch the zombie's shins, breaking them so that it falls to the ground. Then the zombie tries to crawl under the door. I punch it's head until it gets crushed against the floor like a broken egg shell. I look at the mess and figure the zombie and the hole in the wall will be gone when I return, since it's a dream. I head downstairs and everyone is gathering in the lobby. The hotel staff tells everyone to group up and give their cards to their partner. One person gets 5 fantasy type cards, and the other get a single boring card. I figure the 5 fantasy cards offer more possibilities for fun in a lucid dream. Those of us with the 5 cards head to a vertical maze. The first 2 people attempt to bring their cards to the top, but die and turn into skulls that drop to the ground. I try next, and I too turn into a skull halfway through, but I don't drop. I can still move. I figure that was the trick, our partners had to so something before we coudl finish the maze, and mine had done it just in time

Colour Legenda: Setting| Technique used | Dream (lv1) | Dream (lv2) | Lucid Dream | Notes ************************************************** ********************** This is my first DV DJ entry.. I do keep a blog about my dreams (because I can blog from my phone, so I won't have to bother turning on my computer, waiting, and losing dream details), but I really wanted to share this one. The main dream was about my mum and i having an operation. When we were put under, i had a lucid dream. But when i woke up, back into the main dream, i did not maintain my lucidity. Which is a bit stupid, because NOTHING was rational in the main dream. ..the operation room was a field, the sky was Orange and the doctors were skelletons. ..noooothing weird at all about that which might suggest being in a dream, right? XD It kinda looked like an Iron Maiden poster, which is weird, because I hardly ever listen to Iron Maiden. I like them, but lately I've been more into J-rock and haven't listened to them for a while. Maybe my brain went operation=doctors=nurses=women=virgins=maiden=iron maiden?

I had a very odd LD situation happen this morning. My daughter leaves for school around 7 am so I am up at that point but then fell back asleep. I have tenants that decided to move out this morning so they woke me up again and again and again after that. At some point I fell back asleep, realized I was dreaming, got very excited and tried to interact with someone in my dream and woke up. But then I remember lying in bed and something didn't feel right. So I do what I have been trying to train myself to do... see if I could fall out of bed like fluid. I remember feeling like I was moving but not really... then I slid out of bed, hit the floor and when it didn't hurt I realized I was still sleeping and stood right up. I do what I always tend to do in this situation, I flew up through my ceiling and tried to enter the second floor of my house. I remember having to rip through something and made it to the second floor but I woke right up. I fell back asleep and had a very odd non lucid dream where I was second in charge of this company. (I watched horrible bosses a few days back and think I was incorporating part of that.) It was actually a really great dream and I remember waking up because I had to go to the bathroom and muttering, "No... damn it. Why did that have to be a dream?" I used the bathroom, laid back down, put in ear plugs and tried to fall back asleep but never did. I figured I would log it in because I promised myself I would keep track of them all no matter how short they are.
