    1. living inthe basement of ancient skyscraper?

      gee i seem to be haveing alot of dreams abut ancient skyscrapers lately..sheesh, in this dream, my room was in the basement of a huge ancient skyscraper, everything ive ever owne din my entire life was neatly displayed on floor to ceiling shelves in the back half of my room, and all my furniture i own now wa sin the front of the room......for some reason, i had it in my herad, i had to go to a friend of my mother shouse and repair her carpet...ive never installed carpet or repaired carpet in my life..but what the hell......i drove over to her place and parked off to the side, and snuck up to the front door......for some weid reason, i needed to fix the carpet and sneak out without beeing seen...i opened the fornt door, and heard a vacuum in the next room, so i want to yet another room and found the carpet had a mismatched square just laying over asquare hole cut in the carpet, there was a large mailing envelope on a nearby table, and i knew it was the pices of carpeting i wa swaiting for....i pulled the mismatched piece of carpet up, and opened the envelope, and realized, A> it was a dream and B> i knew nothng about capret repair...so i left everything as it was, but i took the mismatched piece with me...and i still heard the vacuum so i snuck out and ran over to my car....got in and drive away, my car suddenly turned into a bicycle, then the bicycle turned into a pogo stick, and amazingly, i started bouncing down the streeet towards home..i was amazed because ive never been good at pogo stick......ah dreams..gotta love em!! =) i get to entrance of my room/skyscraper and notice shelves all along the dirt wall behind the building, and on the shelves, things my folks have owned all through their lives......and i said to myself, "great, another yard sale, better check my stuff once again" i had the feeling that if my father found out i knew about the yard sale he would absolutely kill me, so i started to grab stuff off the slelves i wanted to keep and went ito my rom briefly, i hid stuff all over behind my stuff ont he shelves in my room...when i went back outside, the lady whose house i had just snuck into was there browsing, and i told her you get the presale special..whatever that was..dad came out at this point and i told him she was there browsing and i was helping her choose..and he went away....then these people started coming around the side of the building and going into and out of my room or some reason, i went in and they were just standing there, when i came in they went out,and when i followed them out, they went back in, so when i got the out of my room once again, all of a sudden there was an 8 foot wall below the door to my room, and everyone was gone except one guy.....it was Corey Haim! he said, "help me up so i can get my view in" so i cupped my hands together into a step, but he ignored me and said, "i have to do it myself, another bland challenge" i walked to rith right edge of the wall and there was a very skinny, maybe 6 inches wide staircase going up, so went up and got there the same time he did, and i said to him, "you should hae taken the stairs" and he replied "if thats what your sure they are" then I awoke...
    2. My first Lucid Dream.

      I had this dream last night, before I even knew about Lucid Dreaming...I'd heard about it from my friend, who I'll call M. M said that he was trying to control his dreams, and that he was getting better at it every day. I thought he was crazy, until I had this dream.

      A little background before we start, or the dream won't really make sense to anyone but me. My brother, G, has moved away to Alaska. He's 18. He's in Alaska working for Peter Pan Seafoods, as a conveyor belt worker. My other brother, B, is addicted to black tar heroin. A truck that G owns was left at our house, and B thinks that it's his and that he can drive it anywhere he wants. I hate him with a passion. He's trashing it.

      Now the dream:
      I fell asleep, and everything was normal. I don't normally dream, but tonight I did. I started out at my house, B was taking the truck everywhere, and I told him he needed to stop, and tried to keep him from doing it in some really ridiculous and impossible ways. I suddenly stopped and realized I was dreaming. One of the things I want most right now is for G to come home, and then he did! He helped me get B to stop driving the truck, then that night we stole B's car, and we go to a skate park. The skate park is the bowl one off of GTA IV, frequent players will know which one I'm talking about. Nobody was skating and it was boring, so we meet our friends, D and Ga, and we go to a golf course. Then, suddenly it's like I'm playing an RTS/Dota game, and I can see a mini map, and I can see that my house is being attacked (party) and then I can see me, G, Ga, and D all naked (our friends like to get naked and sit around fires..or just get naked and chill) and it's like I'm seeing it from a satellite zoomed in, and Ga is freaking out about it, he's self conscious (3/5ths japanese, lol) and so we all leave. Me and my brother, G, say goodbye to D and Ga and we part ways. Me and G go home and we realize we left the truck at the skate park (even though we stole B's car) so I wait on the street a couple houses from my house, it's very dark. G pulls up in the truck, and a girl gets out and runs away from him. G is just...idk what he was, he was acting so weird, like he was a zombie. Me and him start fighting about the girl, I told him it's sick that he would pick her up and scare her away like that. We start fighting REALLY bad, he ties me up to the telephone pole outside of our house, and starts making me twirl flaming sticks. Then I smack him with the fiery end of the stick and I get away from him, and then I suddenly have super strength and I'm chasing him and beating him, and he runs into the house, and I'm right behind him, he runs through the house and in his room, into his closet. I run in and see that he's in his closet and that it's open, so I shoved the door into him and step away in case he tries to shove it back, and he comes out looking at me kind of sad, and really confused, and he's holding a piece of paper. He walks up to me and shows it to me, and before I can see what's on it, I wake up.

      I didn't have any control over this dream, but through the whole thing, I had a conscious mind that I was in a dream. I woke up and texted M and told him that I just had the craziest dream, and then I wrote it down. So I took some notes on what I could remember, the important parts, that would make me remember the whole thing, and researched Lucid Dreaming...and that is how my day went.

    3. non lucid floating dream, possible dream walking, or crawling, or....

      I fell asleep on the couch in the living room the other day, all of a sudden, i floated up off the couch, over the wall between the kitchen and living room, and landed by the kitchen sink, i turned on the water, and floated up and over the wall again backwards, like doing the back stroke, and i flipped around in the air in the middle of the living room and lay down gently on the floor about 5 or 6 feet from the couch, and as soon as i touched down, i woke up, for real, and i was actually lieng on the floor in the exact same positoon i was in when i landed there in the dream....very strange...did i fall off the couch and the falling sensation made me dream of floating, did i sleep walk? i have no idea..but it was a very bizarre experience...

      Maynard was directing a movie at my house. Part of the house looked like the elementary school I went to as a kid. I was wandering the halls of the school, trying to stay in character. We didn't know what he wanted, he hadn't given anyone a script. He was getting frustrated with his assistant and I approached. I asked if I could take a look at his drawings. The assistant sighed as if to say, finally. Maynard walked to the couch and sat down. I followed after grabbing a cigarette. He had one too. He handed me the paper and there were little tiny drawings of houses and it had a storyline but everything had to do with the exterior of the house. I asked him to tell me, instead, what his movie was about. That's when he took me aside and told me that he was really scared and this was his first time making a movie. He also mentioned that he hated how he had to censor and only use certain words. Everything gets a little foggy after that. I remember hugging Maynard and coming back drunk and he and his buddies were laughing at me and practically had to carry me inside.

      Somewhere in there, me and Maynard were outside and I was looking at a blood-red moon.

      I believe this was the same dream, it had the same tone. A girl from where I used to work was hooked on heroin and I found her and Milla Jovovich in a bedroom shaking. Milla was still semi-conscious and I asked her how to help the girl. She said something about holding the bible with her arms crisscrossed and when I looked back down at the girl she had her arms wrapped around the bible and I could see the word "HOLY" on it. Then later in the same dream, I pass Milla in the hall and she wants to get fucked up. I try to tell her not to, but she's going anyway and she took my SON with her. I hadn't thought of it much until they returned and I was SO pissed at her. I took him in a room with me and started crying, feeling so bad, like the shittiest mother ever. That's when that girl came in and her eyes were dilated and white grey. I was speechless, I knew exactly what she was doing. Her drug dealer had followed in the room and sat down and started talking to this guy. He was saying that he was losing money cause people were so hooked. He was trying to give the girl a hint, but she wasn't taking it, willingingly, anyway. She was grabbing her clothes and my anger was so swelled. She told me she had to go sell some "pot" but I think she meant clothes. She didn't say aloud what for, but she waved her eyes in the dealer's direction and headed out the door. As she was leaving I felt the urge to say something that might help and stop her in her tracks. So, I yelled after her, "Tell your SON I said HI!" The dealer and his friend looked at me with half smiles, and they were like, "oooooo".

      I can't remember the chronological order here, as usual, but I also remember being at a river that lead from one city to another. I was at this area where there was some sort of industrial contraption and a slow spill of green sludge was trickling down into the water. I was with my friend F and her daughter and my son. I don't know what we were doing there, but I was trying to build a bridge across. There were these weird green shells, I thought they were sea-turtle shells. I was trying to stack them up, but the more I pulled on them the looser the whole wall became. Then it was too late, I had started the spill and at the top was like a bucket of slime. I watched it slowly tip and pour into the river. I also vaguely remember getting stuck in the river.

      I was playing an online game with a bunch of my old friends and some other people - I know K and HH were there, and I think NN and E were there too. I wore a bikini for some reason, also; the first time it was a black/rainbow one I actually have, and the second time (a different day? not sure) it was a brownish patterned and light blue one with shorts bottoms that K had apparently given me, which she commented on.

      Everyone went in this chat thing before the game, which was mainly brown and sort of wood/earth tone themes and colours. Everyone's username was a random colour that changed every time you entered the chat. Everyone also had custom fonts and font colours. I was disconnected from the internet a couple times and had to keep rejoining the chat. Then I accidentally switched my font from Century Gothic to something else, and got very annoyed because I wasn't able to change it back, since my new computer didn't come with the font (a fact that I actually have gotten annoyed about recently haha).

      Then the "game" started, and I knew it was a game the whole time, but I was actually inside of it. The game was fighting all these dragons and other creatures. All of them could speak English to us, in freaky dragon voices. The place we were battling was this giant fancy old building that was sort of like a church or a castle. It was very tall and made of stone with nice windows. The area around it was grassy and I think there may have been some water in the distance. The dragons all breathed fire and were different bright colours.

      I stood at the very top of the building and was shooting at a golden dragon far below. I don't remember what weapons we had. The golden dragon was breathing fire at me but it didn't reach high enough to burn me. This made it very angry and it started saying things like, "Oh, you think you can get away from me that easily, do you?" and then it started climbing up the building, its fire getting closer and closer. This scared me, but I don't remember what happened to it. (Not sure what gender it was or anything.)

      At another point, still at the top of the building, I was fighting with a guy, and there was a bright green dragon (or other creature?) who I think was inside the building and was just sticking its arm through this window/opening that stuck out of the top of the building, trying to grab or scratch people with its claws. This other guy and I were attacking its arm (again, not sure what with) and it did seem to be doing something, but I know both of us were hurt by the claws at some point.

      I think I felt pain when I was attacked in this dream, which has never happened to me before. The pain didn't actually bother me or slow me down, fortunately. There were some brief pauses in the game etc, and I remember feeling very physically beat up and exhausted whenever I stopped playing, even outside of the game.


      I found this one pretty interesting and I'm glad I could actually remember a lot of it, since it seems like I never can with dreams like this.

      [NOTE] I took 100mg of Vitamin B6 an hour before bed last night, I can remember everything all so clearer and I was much aware than normal.

      I was on the school bus and I realized that school doesn't start for another 4 weeks. So I tried to force my right finger into my left hand and it worked. I was like "yep, this is a dream." So I flew out of the bus and hovered over the land around me. It was very beautiful. Then I flew as fast as I could up and forward. I was as high as two mountains put on top of each other and it was very vivid and I was filled with joy. To my left was a very fertile land and to my right was the desert. I flew left and gently went down. There was a small hill so I jumped really high and grabbed on the ledge, I actually felt pain because my back still hurts in real life from Hobart. I got up and was looking at the view when I heard a gunshot, I looked behind me and an old man wearing old western clothes was shooting at some sort of animal. I flew past him and stole his shotgun, although he didn't really seem to mind. So I found a few boars and shot at them, but they wouldn't die. I said "fuck it!" and flew below the highway I was under. I saw a boat where Emma Watson was so I went next to her and she crouched while I took my "thingy" out. When I got it out, she said that it looked like a lizard on top. Then she stood up again, so I grabbed her shoulders and made her kneel. Then she started to suck it and then I woke up. I obviously tried to DEILD and obviously it didn't work.

    7. Weed in Class and Rage in the Grocery Store

      I was at some school, sitting in a classroom in the very back. We weren't sitting at desks, but long tables like some of the classrooms at my college have in waking life. I was smoking weed out of a pipe. I "remembered" that I had done it like every day in that class, and no one ever said anything. I was sure that they smelled it.

      As I smoked, I watched the smoke come out of my mouth. I looked at the backs of the people's heads in front of me. I remember specifically a girl with long, very curly brown hair.

      Then, I remember being in line for something. Kim, a coworker, was there. She was waiting on some medicine or something. I guess we were waiting to go into some room and take whatever we needed out of it. I ended up going in there, and there was money (the amount was $120), hair ties, and other items sitting on this desk. I took the hair ties, which ended up being Kim's. I said something to her about them, I think I asked her if she needed them or I told her I had them. I don't remember her response. I also remember wondering who would take the money. I was surprised no one had yet.

      Then, I was in line for something else inside of a school building. I hadn't originally signed up for it, but I was there anyway for some reason. I had with me a strap-on vagina? Wtf. I was trying to wear it (I don't need it?), but I couldn't get it on.

      I was then picked to go next along with my friend Dakota. We went to another room or something, I can't remember exactly where we went. But we only had a limited amount of time to be there. So what did we do? He got on top of me and we started to make out on some platform. No one else was around. I kept thinking "I'm making out with a gay guy.". (He is gay in waking life).

      We came back, but my memory of what happened next evades me.

      I was in a cafeteria, sitting at a table. I looked to my left and saw Chris with his new girlfriend, who, in the dream, was a black girl named Ebony. He looked thinner and he had more hair, kind of like in my previous dream about him. I saw her hug him, and I let out a scream over the noise of the cafeteria. I got up and ran off.

      I was then coming back, but I was now in a grocery store. It was like I was coming out of one of the back rooms. As I walked out, I looked to my left again. There was Chris, shopping for groceries. I remember him wearing baggy blue jeans, but I can't remember what he was wearing on top. I stood there in shock as I stared at him. He saw me and stared back. I could feel that my face looked very sad.

      Then, Chris took a frozen loaf of bread and threw it at me. It hit me in the face...it hurt. It really hurt. I went up to him just as his girlfriend was coming up to him. She was carrying a big box, almost as big as her. As I grabbed Chris, I said to Ebony
      "I know who you are."
      She kept trying to get Chris's attention and trying to find out what was going on.

      I shook Chris. He was against a shelf. I was eye-to-eye with him as I desperately got upset with him. I don't remember exactly what I said, but his face contorted into a smile and he laughed at me. I thought about taking his button-up shirt and ripping it, but I didn't do it. Then, he said
      "I miss the old Krista."
      I looked at him.

    8. Night of 07/19 - FAIL

      1. I'm standing in a street, watching the Tour the Fance(cycling race for those who don't know). There is a famous cyclist, I don't recall his name. He is winning the race, because he leads with a time advantage of 2 hours. He is so happy that he stops in every 10 meters, to get from his bike and to hug the people watching. I can see that he's so happy that he cries all the time.
      After the seven time he stops, he finally gets on his bike to finally finish the race. He rides his bike a few minutes but there is a car driving towards him, he gets involved in a car crash, flies high into the sky and lads somewhere on the street. He is bad injured and only gets slowly on his bike. Suddenly all the other cyclist are passing him and he only finishes the race with a 30-minutes-delay

      2. I'm in front of the school were I did my practical training. I speak to two teacher I used to work with. I'm asking him about the children how they do. A child appears and tells me about something that doesn't make sense at all. I fake a smile and say he should play with his friends. The teacher tell me that they've got a few new pupils. Suddenly I see one of these new pupils and I realize that it looks like an alien,. I'm really confused and I don't know what to do or to say. The teacher tells me that it's an exchange pupil from Jupiter and that he really does well (WTF?).
      When things can't get even more weird, a lady enters the school with a trolley. She sells sausages to us.


      I awake for real. WTF?
    9. First Lucid

      I finally did it. I became Lucidit was awesome.

      Before I went to sleep , while I was still in bed I told myself "the next thing I know I will be dreaming" like a MILD. I can't be in a boxing gym if I'm sleeping.

      So let's get to it I was playing GTA 4 I wasn't Lucid I felt like I was in the game riding a dirtbike doing some stunt jumps to my girlfriends house.

      Then I shifted to a bar and while I was asleep I felt like I had to go to school whenever I need to go somewhere I have very vivid dreams. "Odd" I'm thinking.

      I shifted to my street then I knew I was dreaming so I tried to fly and failed I was just jumping up and down like Superman from the Dailies and thinking that I looked so stupid. (I sure need a tutorial).

      The I remembered a spot that I like to climb so I went over there and there's DC's playing football and that side of the street is lively but its like 6am or something I thouhgt it was 1am it was very dark with nothing but the street lights for brightness. There are kids at playing football at the flats too.

      Anyway I tried to climb my spot but one of the DC kids told me that there are people there. I ask "Are they in the garden?" the kid says yes. So I'm thinkin "Screw It".

      Then I go back to try and fly again I still can't do it. Jumping up and down like a fool although I gradually got higher and higher I still wasn't flying.

      Some guy I know from college was there telling everybody to go home. I could've stayed but I'm really not fond of him so I just left.

    10. Hanging with Barak and Arrested

      I'm hanging out with Barak Obama back stage at a big rally. He's paralyzed with nerves and is speaking in a very hoarse voice. Eventually he runs up on stage and I am trying to hold open a door for Michelle. This is a metal stadium door with a hydraulic close lever. As I hold it the door grows 50x50 feet away from me, so now I'm just this tiny thing holding down a giant door. The door is closing around me and falling over the top of me. I want to hear the speech the President is making but this door keeps attacking me.

      I give a this lady I know a ride home from the rally. She leaves her phone and camera in my car. She calls me from someone else's phone and has me look through my car until I find it. My car is a mess. I find the phone but not the camera. I leave the phone at her apartment complex.

      Driving home I get pulled over for running a stop sign. The cop is riding with my friend Amy. She looks in my car and sees a small blue wire coat hanger and starts to freak out. She says it's the same hanger that her niece had with her when she was abducted. The cop starts to arrest me and I am defending myself, saying "look if that's the only evidence you have there's no reason to arrest me. I've never even met the girl, my car is trashed, if this was true there would be evidence all over it."

      My lawyer shows up and it's a shirtless hippy with a soul patch. He's just telling me to go with it while he cleans trash out of his car. He's looking for something that he can't find. I ask him if he needs gas money to get home and he snaps that he has plenty of gas money, just because he looks like this doesn't mean he doesn't bill by the hour.

    11. Avalanche's dreamscape adventures

      For the sake of time and reader interest, I'm only going to record lucid dreams or dreams that are near to that. All other dreams would take too much time to to have to write up, and I cannot see myself being able to consistently log them. So only the good stuff.

      So my first lucid dream:

      I was in a big room, more like a hall. There was a big fire in the middle, and everything was wooden, like in medieval times. There were stalls along the walls, selling weapons and armour. (RPG players will know how this would look generally). I was watching the character from a top down perspective, at an angle.
      He didn't buy anything, as none of the stuff on offer was as good as what he had. Then I was back in my bed. Not a false awakening, it didn't get that far.

      A little blue bird landed on my bedside lamp, and I instantly knew he wanted me to turn it on. I hesitated, not wanted to scare him off. When I did, he flew over and landed on my pillow. I leaned in close to hear what he had to say.
      "We don't need those merchants, none of them had good stuff anyway"

      ********
      He then flew over to my desk, and my room changed. It turned yellow and a waist high ledge cut into the room opposite my bed. Clocks and posters and things appeared on the far wall. I checked my hands and my left had an extra finger. I did a few other R.C.s and concluded rather melodramatically that I must be in a dream. I felt a slight buzzing and jumped up onto the ledge. I considered doing a backflip, but didn't as an extra window had appeared behind me, and I just jumped out of that. I plummeted to the ground, over a desert landscape with a few random buildings, like L.A. or Abu Dhabi, but a little more futuristic. I tried to make it "1916 themed" but that didn't work. I fell and fell until it faded to black, and woke up.

      Cool, calm and collected is how I would describe that dream, I didn't lose it because of over excitement, I think I lost it due to lack of stabilization and a general lack of ideas.

    12. Lucid dream night of 7.18.11

      I remember the setting of my dream being almost post apocalyptic, or at least the city I was in wasn't doing so well. It was more at night. I was in Florida. I remember hanging out with some of my friends and my brother. We were in some sort of house that I did not recognize. We were in one of the bed rooms. My friend and I were sitting on the bed discussing classes for the upcoming semester, and my brother was sleeping on the other side of the bed. There is a window above the bed that looks out onto a chemical waste river. I noticed some people standing on the other side of the river. They were 2 men and 1 woman. The woman was shorter, kind of puggier, with WAY too much make-up. The man, a more tall, stocky fellow, with sandy brown hair. I glanced at them out the window and returned to my friend. Suddenly I see these knives and throwing stars come at the window. The throwing stars are the size of CDs. The window has 2 planes of glass but the knives break through the first layer easily. I hear an older gentleman behind me say something like "that window has 2 layers, they can't break both." I replied "they've already broken one and the second one is cracked." After I had said that the knives had broken through the second layer of glass. The knives and throwing stars start flying into the room. I began to fend them off and catch them so they would not land and hit my sleeping brother (who for some reason doesn't wake up from any of this.) I start to get real angry because they are trying to hurt us and are putting my brother in danger. They charge the house. Next to the room where we were in is a hall way leading to a door. They come in through that door. My friend begins to fight with them and I know I can take them with no problem (I start to kind of become lucid here) I grab the taller man by the throat and kind of choke him out and toss him aside. I had thought I had killed him. I focused on the girl then, blocking her attacks and fighting her with martial arts moves that I suddenly know. The man I had choked came up behind me and began fighting me too. I was shocked he didn't die. I began to throw their own knives back at them, cutting them yet they still kept coming. I didn't know why they were attacking us. I got the feeling that they were attacking us because of either a complete misunderstanding or for no particular reason at all. I was getting really frustrated, not only because they wouldn't die, but also that they wouldn't leave us alone. I continued fighting the two throughout the house (I didn't know where the other guy went). The fight goes on for what seems like hours. Eventually the fight was taken outside and I was fighting them while gliding above them trying to find a weakness. This is when I became lucid. I knew I was flying and I was like "wait a minute, I am dreaming." I flew to the top of a house. "ok, what was I supposed to do.....oh right, mexico." I stabilized a bit and tried to visualize the pyramid. I manifested a compass so I could point myself in the right direction. I pushed off the roof of the house and shot myself high in the air. I looked down at the still continuing battle. I saw a friend fighting the strangers among a couple of trees (like spruce trees, which is odd for florida). I turned my attention to my destination. I gathered some energy and pushed off making myself fly at super speed. I knew at this speed I would get there in just a few seconds. The scene is a blur as I shoot through the sky....

      My alarm goes off and I wake up. >.<

      Dream:

      I'm in some woods and I'm lucid (don't remember anything up to that point, or know how I became lucid). I think someone else was in the woods with me, as soon as I realize what is going on I say "lucidity now" (I panicked a little and just said the first things that came to my mind),"clarity now", and rub my hands together.
      As I was rubbing my hands together I was looking up into the branches of the trees and the branches had already looked amazing, but when I rubbed my hands they gave off more of a magic forest look.
      After that I think I blinked, or closed my eyes for a second to choose what to do next...

      And lost it. I couldn't open my eyes back up, I remember just staring into darkness trying desperately to make something appear.

      The dream probably only lasted three to five seconds, but it is the only dream where I have remembered emotions (that weren't negative)

    14. Stressful Gaming

      Okay, so before I fell asleep I was working on trying to get Fallout 3 to work on Steam, and it was truly stressing me out. I finally got in FOSE, but it still didn't work. The stress must have followed into my dream, because I dreamt about it. I was in the game, and I had a silenced 10 mil with another gun I can't remember. I was shooting up raiders in the Springvale school with a silenced 10mil and silenced miscellaneous gun, and it was very realistic. There were no bullet sponge super mutants, no unrealistic gunfire noises. Blood splatter with ricochet, grey matter with skull fragments. It seems that all of my dreams are vivid, now that I notice. This may or may not be my mind just filling in the less detailed areas. The reason why this entry is so informal is because I'm very tired, and about to go to sleep. Goodnight, Dreamviews, and I hope that I can throw this piece of shit computer out the window, and get one that can support a wonderful game from 2008.

      A nice, detailed lucid that has to be one of my longest ones ever! I didn't do anything too epic in this dream except for a cool slow-motion sequence and a whole lot of observations, just to get back into the swing of things (I didn't want to try teleporting in this one, and unfortunately, I totally forgot about having a shared dream with members of the IOSDP).

      I was in a room that was about fifteen by ten feet; it had tan-colored brick walls and dark, faded hardwood flooring. I'm surprised I could find a picture that depicts close to what the room looked like! It looked like the one on the right; I have adjusted the colors and saturation to how it appeared in the dream. It was darkly lit by one yellow lightbulb in the center of the varnished concrete ceiling, hanging from a short but twisted cord. The glow of pale yellow light was steady and unabated but it was still pretty dark. In the middle of one of the shorter walls was a normal, closed wooden door that was painted white. Against the opposite wall, and again right in the middle, there was a double bed. It had a metal frame with one rounded metal piece for a headboard, and reminded me of a crib. On top was a soft, plush white bedspread that was thicker than a duvet. Room in a psych hospital, perhaps?

      I was lying on this bed, on my stomach with my head turned over to the right. There was no pillow; I was just resting on top of the bedspread with my head in the covers. Then, I suddenly felt extremely relaxed and almost felt like I was going to fall right through the bed - sleep paralysis. However, in the dream, I regarded sleep paralysis as a terrifying, mental abnormality that shouldn't happen to anyone. I sensed an unknown figure made of black smoke walk over to my bedside and stick a small, very thin needle into my arm, right where I'd receive a shot at the doctor's.

      I freaked out; my breathing became erratic and fast, which was very realistic for being in a dream. The episode ended shortly after, when the needle was removed from my arm. I burst out from the bed and ran to the door; I recall the hardwood floor being extremely smooth, without any spaces between the boards or indents. I opened the door to a whole other section of building. This wasn't an insane asylum or anything, but a house that was positioned right next to my school! I had emerged from the room with the bed, into a short, wider hallway which opened up into a central area. This was the second floor. There was a set of crappy-looking, broken stairs going up to a single-room third floor, and a set at the end of the room that went down to the first floor. They looked like they disappeared into the wall, though, because there wasn't enough room for the staircase to change directions. Below is the basic layout of the floor, along with a shaded section for the third floor above it.


      The whole place was lit normally. The floor had nice, lighter hardwood and some accent rugs here and there, all rectangular in shape. Although the stairs leading up to the third floor (closed off by a metal door at the top of these stairs) were broken and cracking, and the set going to the first floor were concrete and didn't match the rest of the floor, the place had a warm atmosphere. I felt welcomed. However, I had to tell someone about what I just experienced while lying on the bed.

      There were many people in the open room here; one person was at a round table made of polished wood, like you'd see in a small kitchen. There was also a group of six or seven people clustered around two windows on the far wall. They were large and slightly rectangular (horizontally) in shape, and if you were to look outside, you'd see the parking lot for my school, and the school off to the left. The house and school were connected. Outside, it was dark. Nighttime. The door on the wall adjacent to the two windows led to a relatively large bathroom.

      Among the cluster of people, I saw a rather grizzled man with pale peach skin that had almost a grey tone to it.

      "Hey," I said, slightly desperate and afraid.

      He turned around to face me and walked over to where I was standing. I knew this man was very kind and didn't think for one time that he was weird or off-putting, although in a real life situation, I may have avoided him.

      I started to talk. "I..."

      Midway through my sentence, I suddenly became aware. "Whoa... holy crap. Am I dreaming?" I asked, stupefied and excited. I did a nose-plug reality check to confirm this, and my lucidity went up a bit more. For fun, I looked at the man, using dream control to make him answer the way I wanted him to.

      "Am I really dreaming?" I asked, and he answered, throwing his arms up. "Yes!" he said excitedly.

      "Awesome! ...Awesome!" I exclaimed and almost ran off without stabilizing or doing any thinking. I stopped myself and started to reason out what I'd do in this dream. "Maybe I should try and get to an airport." But then, I thought the better of it and decided to save that for a time when I was a bit more lucid, and maybe when I was in a brighter location. After all, it was nighttime outside, and in the past I've had difficulties teleporting to daytime areas when I was in a dark area.

      "Stabilization. See how long the dream will last if I do lots of stabilization." I thought for a moment. "The bathroom," I then said, chuckling. "There'll be lots of stuff in there!"

      I forgot all about the people, simply skipping past them and feeling how weird gravity felt. It didn't feel like I was being pulled down to the floor quite as much, but I wasn't floating at all; I simply felt a bit less heavy. The door to the bathroom was open, so I just pushed it open more and walked inside. The floor was pretty gross - it was made of colorful yellow tiles, each probably only two or three inches across, with dust in the grout between each of them. There were pale stains along the floor from water, or something. I really didn't want to know. Altogether, the room was a good 10x10 feet, with a long, single white bathtub on the right that had a long, white clear shower curtain to match. The curtain was half-open. The walls of the bathroom were beige and also had very faint stains, which I guessed were from water. In front of me, at the end of the room was a sink. The left wall, adjacent to the one that had the sink in front of it, had the toilet against it. The toilet was the cleanest thing in the bathroom, but I didn't notice an opening to the siphon or plumbing. It just looked like a big, toilet-shaped bowl (ignore the irony there).

      I walked to the sink. Above it was a mirror, which was probably double the width of the sink with a fancy gold rim around it; this rim was a bit rusty and lightly scratched in some patches. I looked into it and saw myself - I looked as normal as I could have; I thought it was maybe just a trick of the dream and when I were to wake up, I'd realize I looked totally off, but upon closer observation, nothing changed. I looked like I did in real life, with the exception of my hair. It was slightly shorter than it should've been. I took my attention away from my face and looked past it to the rest of the room; I saw the door behind me, and the toilet on the... right? What?

      I raised my eyebrow and turned around. The room had gotten smaller; now it was the side of a normal small bathroom. The toilet was now on the right of the sink instead of the left, and the room was half as long and wide as it was before. The door was mere feet away from me; I'm guessing about six or seven.

      "Cool."

      I then expected a shelf to be on the left wall. Turning to the left, I saw a thinner, rectangular white plank of wood coming out from the wall. On it were toiletries; I remember seeing Colgate toothpaste and a toothbrush, along with a men's electric razor. I picked up the toothpaste and it felt like a rock; the white and red tube didn't seem squeezable so I just put it in my right hand and rolled it around for a few moments. I ran my left hand against the wall and felt small bumps, like tiny pieces of grit and stones had been trapped behind the wallpaper. It tickled my hand so I took it off, and then I dropped the toothpaste. I then decided to get (slightly) creative and lick the wall. I did this and it didn't taste like anything. I then knelt down and licked the floor, figuring there was no harm in doing it, no matter how nasty it may have been. The floor didn't taste like anything either. I moved my tongue around and said "bleh". Getting up, laughing as I did, I then smelled the air. I picked up a trace of sandpaper, but that was it.

      After sticking my nose out to smell the air, I rubbed my hands together and looked at them. I counted six fingers on my left hand, but it looked like it only had five, so I counted them again. It was a bit of a mind-bleep. My right hand was very weird; it had five fingers but my thumb was missing the middle segment; it just had the base part and the end where the fingernail was! Yuck! I was able to move it like normal after I stopped looking at it, though, as if it was back to the way it should've been. Finally, I stopped to hear any sounds I could pick up on. I heard very quiet, muffled windchimes, but although the sound was distant, it felt like it was coming from all around me. The sound was quiet enough not to bother me though, and it seemed to stop once I started heading back to the open door of the bathroom. I was now in the main room again, and the lighting had changed - all the lights were off, and the only source of light was from the moon outside, coming in through the windows. It was rather pretty, but...

      "Wow..." I said, a bit frustrated. "There is no way I'm going to change this to daytime." I walked to one of the two windows; more specifically the one on the right, closest to the wooden table, and looked through the glass. It was surprisingly clear. I saw the parking lot, but it was two stories down. I also noticed there were no longer any people around in the room.

      I shrugged and rested my hand on the glass, gradually pushing harder on it until the whole piece of glass just fell down onto the ground. I then stepped up onto the windowpane, first with my right foot and then my left, and pushed off, jumping into the air. I didn't float at all for once, and simply fell back down really quickly like what would happen in real life, then landed on the asphalt with a low-pitched thud that almost sounded like breaking glass. I then looked to the left; in the moonlit darkness I saw the large front entrance to my school, so I began walking towards it.

      Halfway there, I stopped to look up at the sky and I saw the moon, which was in a relatively normal location. Looking up even further, almost so that I didn't see anything on the ground anymore, I saw some tiny stars that were almost faded away completely. There were a few turquoise-colored streaks of clouds, which were also hard to spot. Most of them were near where the moon was. I didn't see a lot of details on the face of the moon itself; it was really just a white circle with some very light gray blots on it. I put my finger in front of the moon and dragged it downwards, towards the earth. I expected the sun to come up in turn, and for the entire sky to get brighter. However, even though the moon moved with my finger, the sun didn't come up and only a patch of sky above the school got brighter. Then again, I'd never been very good at changing the sky.

      "Brighten the sky," I shouted commandingly. Nothing happened.

      "Whatever, be that way," I said in the tone a parent would say to an unruly child, and waved my hand off towards the sky. I walked to the school and when I got there, I opened the furthest left of four wide doors that each consisted of only a metal frame and a big pane of glass. The door wasn't locked, but it would've been in waking life. I walked into the atrium, which was the main area of the school that spanned upwards for three stories, and led to, essentially, all the different classrooms.


      The main section of the school, right when you walk in, consists of a large, long atrium with a triangular glass roof, which allows for much light to enter the school, making it fairly airy and bright. Classrooms are on the left and right of this atrium, and near the entrance there's a large set of stairs on the right, just before the classrooms begin. The main tones in the building include light beige, light eggshell blue tiles, and accents of paler turquoise, such as on the window frames and stair handles.

      The place was actually lit very well; I looked up through the glass roof and saw the dark night sky, but didn't care, so long as I could see inside the building, which was bright. I passively traveled down the atrium and saw many different people walking around, but I didn't recognize anyone in particular. However, since I knew that I couldn't get to an airport and create an amazing chase scenario from here, immediately I decided that I just wanted to raise hell in this dream, by any means necessary. At this point, I'm not even sure if I cared whether I woke up or not. This dream was already longer than the majority of my other lucids, and I knew this.

      I crossed my arms and stood in the middle of the area for a couple moments. I wanted to fight and bring a whole mass of bad guys down on me.

      My gaze then flicked to the side as I imagined (without actually hearing anything) a twig snapping outside the school entrance. I breathed out quickly, acting like I'd been surprised, and then widened my eyes as I heard a group of men entering the atrium behind me, through the glass doors I'd just gone through. I spun around and, without visualization at all, saw that they were wearing dark gray and black S.W.A.T. outfits.

      "Man, I'm sick of these S.W.A.T. teams," I said, out of character for a moment and just complaining about the dream.

      "Oh well," I then said in a lighter tone. Back in character again, I saw a man in the middle hold a gun up to eye level and shuffle a few steps towards me. The gun he was holding looked like it was made entirely of lightweight metal, almost exactly like the one on the left. He was aiming for me and before I could do anything dream control-wise, he shot at me. I jumped up and curved backwards, just in time as the slower-than-normal bullet whizzed right underneath me. My jumping movement was fast, but as I arced backwards it became slow motion, which was an amazing sensation. I wasn't paying attention to the man who shot me anymore, and was simply taking note of how when I tried to move my arms, it would be like moving through a viscous liquid. I didn't try to move my legs, which felt like they were numb and floating. The slow-motion sequence ended in about ten seconds and instead of continuing to curl backwards and end with a backflip, I kicked my legs from in front of me to underneath me, and I landed upright.

      I looked at the men and raised my chin, daring them to shoot again,
      but the dream faded.
